This was a holiday shared with friends old and new. From the moment of arrival at the Quay to every day on board, excursions and final departure, everything was seamlessly managed. The captain and his boat staff were super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure every request was addressed. The food was excellent, fresh local produce which was beautifully presented and delicious. Amazing from a small kitchen with 2 very dedicated individuals , the chef and his support. The cabins were cleaned thoroughly everyday and the 2 bar staff , Pamela and Luce were brilliant with a good sense of humor. Our Sail Croatia rep Vicko was just fantastic with a great deal of history and local knowledge. He managed to keep us informed, learning about Croatia and laughing the whole trip. His relaxed informal style meant everyone enjoyed chatting with Vicko. The whole trip exceeded expectations.

While the ship (Esperanza) was a bit tired, the crew was amazing. Our tour manager, Dino, was the best. He was so attentive to the guests and responsive to our needs. He had to make several itinerary adjustments due to weather, but still had special events scheduled in most locations. Mio & Ivo were also a great servers and bartenders and tge chef, Vladim was excellent. I’d be back next year if we had the same crew on an updated ship.

Was truly a trip of a lifetime! It was a very special way to celebrate a friend’s 60th birthday. Everything was above expectations from the ship, Queen Jelena, to the captain and cabin crew, with special thanks to Pamela and Lucy, who we kept quite busy provided excellent service and always with a smile! The food was excellent, especially the daily 3 course lunches that could rival any top restaurant! Our sailors, “ the Joseph’s” kept us safe on swim stops and our comings and goings on the boat. Our “cruise director” Sail Croatia rep.,Vicko, was wonderful. His daily briefings on the day’s destination and activities were always entertaining and informative. He messaged us reminders, directions, restaurant suggestions, and meet up stops. He’s very personable and made the day to day so easy! I highly recommend Sail Croatia, you will not be disappointed!

We did the Elegance Dubrovnik-Dubrovnik cruise on Esperanza and had a fantastic time. Dino, our tour guide, was super professional, friendly, and communicative with the entire group and really made our trip memorable. He answered all our questions, gave excellent recommendations for dining & sightseeing, and managed the details of our transportation back to the airport flawlessly. Ivo and Mio also deserve special mention from the crew since they were particularly attentive and friendly throughout the cruise and helped those of us wanting to learn some Serbo-Croatian with patience and humor. Captain Jure was a total professional and clearly a skilled seaman as he guided us through some heavy seas on our return to Dubrovnik. Overall a fantastic visit to some of Croatia’s most beautiful spots with a wonderful ship & crew.

Wow! From the moment we stepped on board ‘Olimp’ we both knew we had made the right choice choosing Sail Croatia. All of the crew, tour manager (Vedran) and the Captain all made us feel like family and went above and beyond to make our whole experience a memorable one. We made the decision to do a small boat cruise rather than a huge ship, and it was the best! The cabins were spotless and very comfortable. No trouble sleeping at all onboard. Meals on board were delicious each day and five star in my opinion. The Captains Dinner was amazing. So much fun and laughter. Great food and drinks. We will be recommending Sail Croatia to all of our friends who are thinking about going on a cruise. Thankyou all again for a memorable holiday that we will never forget. Croatia's coastline is simply beautiful and the cities of Dubrovnik and Split were well worth the visit. The smaller islands were interesting and pretty if missing cultural interest, but thanks to our wine-themed cruise, there was always something to see/do. The crew and especially our guide Lola were cheerful, helpful and fun (my husband and I were traveling with a solo friend, so with 3 at our table, we were able to share a lot of meals with Lola). We've done a number of cruises in the past, from 120 passengers up to about 2000, and unfortunately I'm prone to seasickness, so on that front the trip was not great - I definitely appreciated our captain's decision to skip one island due to rough seas! The smaller size ship also meant that our cabin was much smaller than what we've experienced before and there was really nowhere other than the dining area for people to gather together when it was raining which was unfortunate. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

We really enjoyed the small ship atmosphere and being able to get to know your fellow passengers and make new friendships. The food was exceptional and it was nice not having every minute being planned for us. We were on the wine cruise and the winery experiences were fantastic. The tour leader (Lola) and the rest of the crew went out of their way to accommodate every request. I’d definitely recommend this company.

We travelled from Dubrovnik to Split on the beautiful Queen Jalena in May. Our tour coordinator, Lola, was incredible, generously sharing her knowledge of each port we docked at, daily menus, schedule updates, and helping with any and all queries along the way. The entire ship crew were absolutely fantastic — warm, professional, attentive, and always welcoming. The service throughout the trip was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere onboard was just so relaxed. Every stop along the coastline was stunning, the wineries we visited were passionate about their craft, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. In addition, we had the most incredible group of fellow travellers, all with their own interesting stories to share. Everyone looked out for each other, which made the journey even more special. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to explore the Croatian coast in comfort while enjoying outstanding hospitality.

Our 7 day cruise and excursions on the Romantic Star absolutely wonderful. The food was fantastic, the accommodations were top notch and the crew was phenomenal. Captain Ivan was a pleasure as well as his crew. Anita, our tour guide, was simply amazing. She made us feel at home on the ship as well as on our excursions. I'm sorry I cannot give a 5 star review. The great things about the ship was the chef, the crew and the facilities. All great - clean, organized, well run. My disappointment was in the lack of excursions on the islands between Dubrovnik and Split. I thought that we should have some kind of introduction to each island and short walking tour each time we docked. Everyday was a swim day and because the water was too cold to swim I had hoped that an adjustment would be made to the schedule for an alternate activity. Perhaps dock earlier to give us some time off the boat. There was too much sitting around time. From breakfast, through lunch there was nothing to do if you did not swim (& no one did). We did not disembark til 2 pm. Our tour dir. did her job perfunctorily and made arrangements as requested, She was not as visible or involved with our group. Although she said she has been doing this for 4 years she came off as unsure and inexperienced.

The wine cruise was amazing in all respects. The ship, staff and tour director surpassed all expectations. The food was very good. The chef and assistant produced incredible meals and catered accordingly for anyone with allergies etc. Lola, our tour director, was so knowledgeable and ensured our wine experiences were memories for life. The ship was perfect and our captain made decisions when the weather changed to take the safest and smoothest route. I would highly recommend this trip.

We traveled as a group of 16. Anita the tour director was a superstar. Far exceeding any and all expectations I had. I had some health issues while traveling and she made sure I got to medical help in the local village as well as coordinating a ferry ride to the Split hospital. Anita made me feel like family. The boat was very clean and the crew made sure any need that came up was addressed. The food was good. The Captain exuded confidence and made sure the guest knew he was in control of the ship at all times, I highly recommend the Romantic Star. I am sure your experience will be as satisfying as mine was.

We loved pretty much everything about this Wine Themed Cruise. Our cruise director Lola went above and beyond to answer all our questions, provide helpful recommendations, take awesome photos and share lovely Croatian customs w/ us. The CREW worked their tail feathers off, especially Pamela & Lucy behind the bar! Service always with a BIG smile. Josef & Josef also worked hard to make sure our sail made it safely in and out of every port. We enjoyed having dinner w/ Captain Gordon and hearing all about his ship! The crew who prepared our meals were amazing. Not sure how they got 30+ meals all out at once from their tiny kitchen. With that being said, there were a couple of things I would have preferred. Often the food was served at room temperature which I prefer my food to be served hot. I also found it often lacked seasoning. I would have liked to see a more varied menu. With that being said… the Tuna steak was amazing and the Lamb Shank too die for! DESSERTS excellent ❤️

My wife and I had a fantastic time traveling from Dubrovnik to Split ! Everyone on the crew were amazing! Lola, are cruise director was very attentive and friendly and she went out of her way to help us in any way ! Pamela and Lucy were both very helpful especially serving us cocktails! The one thing I wish was that the A/C was room controlled ... most of our cruise the captain controlled the air. Overall, highly recommend our trip to everyone ! The time flew by so fast !

My husband and I travelled with my parents and we had the best time! Dino, George, Linda, Allie and the rest of the crew were amazing and did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We could have not been happier with the trip! Since I didn’t get to fill out the iPad survey on the ship I have a few minor suggestions: My husband would have preferred breakfast that wasn’t the same every morning. The shower floor was very slippery so a mat in the bottom would have been nice. The dining room was very loud when we were all there so more softer surfaces to absorb the noise would help. The days were arranged so nicely and we felt taken care of very well. Thank you!!

Sailing from Dubrovnik to Split on the Wine Cruise aboard the Queen Jelena was my first cruise and first time to Croatia. Sail Croatia was a wonderful experience. The Tour Leader was warm, attentive, and proactive in ensuring the guests were informed and comfortable. I appreciated the "off the beaten path" experiences with winemakers and private tours. The crew were highly competent and the ship and accomodations were clean and tasteful. With the wine focus for the trip, the group of guests from around the globe bonded and developed friendships that will last beyond this vacation. I highly recommend. I was traveling as a single woman with friends (a married couple) and always felt welcome by the other guests and staff.

Our cruise to some of the Croatian Islands was a wonderful experience. So much beauty and history. The Esperanza is a lovely boat and we were very comfortable. The crew were charming, helpful and looked after our every need. The food was delicious but three courses was almost too much at times! The Captain ran a tight ship and took us to some beautiful bathing spots in the clear waters of the Adriatic. Being a small boat we got to know our fellow passengers from different parts of the world which was an added bonus. We enjoyed our holiday enormously and will remember it for a long time to come. I recommend this holiday to anyone who loves beauty, history and warm friendly people.

I so many things made this Cruise incredible. Let me start with the tour director Dino who is a constant source of energy, smiles, good humour and professionalism. The rest of the crew were very thorough, friendly and expert in their different fields. The captain "Gorgeous" George is truly a Master Mariner and no surprise that he comes from generations of seafarers. The food was outstanding. Drink selection was okay and locations that we visited were excellent and the daily highlight was the swim stops. I thoroughly recommend the "Olimp" vessel cruise through Sail Croatia to anybody looking for a 7 day five-star Croatian cruise experience.

The entire experience, down to the smallest details, was extremely well coordinated and executed.The transfers from and to the airport went smoothly and the drivers made us feel comfortable and the one on the incoming transfer gave us great options for places to visit the day before we sailed. Anita was above and beyond helpful in all aspects of the cruise. She communicated any and all details very well and in a timely manner. She made sure to coordinate excursions and dinners in port that would meet our interests as well as making sure we knew where specific amenities we may need were located on shore. The chef and sous chef did an outstanding job with the meals. The beautiful presentation, fabulous flavor, and broad range of menus for each onboard meal was amazing for such a small kitchen.Lunch and the captains dinner felt like a fine dining experience. Ivan and the crew made us feel welcome and preformed their tasks smoothly.. Bravo to the team at Sail Croatia and Romantic Star!

Everything about the cruise is first class. The boat “Olimp” is beautiful and extremely comfortable The crew were absolutely marvellous. The tour director gave clear and concise information and made everything we did fun as well I celebrated my birthday whilst onboard and can say that it will go down as one the most memorable! The crew helped to make my day very special. Our hostesses! What can I say attentive, friendly, helpful professional and fun too. I would love to return and do it all again.
