I had a great time on my Sail Croatia bicycle cruise. The rides were all very doable on the e-bikes for all levels of riders. You can make it challenging and taxing or let the bike do most of the work and enjoy the scenery. Staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and brought everyone together. The food was good and plentiful, and the boat was comfortable and clean. The rides allow you to visit and experience parts of the islands that you would never see on a standard cruise. From historical sites to out of the way cafes every day brought something new. I’m going to recommend this trip to all my friends, most of whom are seniors, as a must do.

This holiday was wonderful. The crew were fabulous and our tour guides were amazing. There was a fun and friendly vibe amongst everyone from the get go. Avica and Diego were so knowledgeable about each of the islands and so made the rides easy for everybody as well as suggesting and organising great outings and meal options for the evenings on the islands. The whole week was so well organised and nothing was too much trouble for either the crew or tour managers. This holiday was a great balance between activity, relaxation and sightseeing.

This was an amazing trip! Everyone on the crew was wonderful! Sasa was the best, He kept us updated on the details of each day and did everything to make us happy and comfortable. His knowledge and passion for his country showed as we toured the islands! Calum was great. He gave detailed descriptions of our bike rides and what to expect. They both made the trip extra fun.. when weather affected our rides, Calum and Sasa made sure we were notified and new plans made. The entire crew was attentive and friendly. We loved every minute of the trip and the enthusiasm from the crew made it extra special. Croatia is beautiful!!

What an experience. We were looked after from the time we made our reservations till we disembarked. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to assist onboard. Safety was the captains priority as he always tried to avoid bad weather situations. Our tour guide Josko ensured fantastic rides with spectacular scenery. Oh, please go with the E-bike option.

A dsily cycling excursion is the best way to experience the beauty of Croatia. I would highly recommend this trip. The E-Bike makes all routes and overlooks accessible. The swim stops from the boat and the beach were also pristine.

As a previous customer of Sail Croatia I knew I would enjoy myself and the company of an international gathering. It was enjoyable and the few changes were welcome. E Bikes were better but they should had wider tyres. Guides were very professional. Food was mostly very good. However, I thought that I would upgrade the boat that I had selected but I think this boat was the poorest I have been on in all four previous holidays. Rooms were small, decorations were beginning to feel very dated. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was good. Lounge areas were only adequate but outside spaces were only a little more generous, All Sail Croatia staff were good as were boat’s complement. Excellent Captain. The last day before arriving in Dubrovnik was a poor cycling day and I think that you need to find a more demanding and interesting ride. It really was disappointing In summery, better boat for Premium, more appropriate bikes, final day rethink. Thanks for running the trip.

A fabulous experience - amazing staff, beautiful ship, great food enhanced by the host Lucia and our cycle guide Dora. Both were brilliant and have great interactions with each other and all guests. Their knowledge of Croatia past and present was shared with passion and enthusiasm. Would I recommend anything is different—introduce a cocktail hour on the boat and you'll definitely increase the spend.

We were on a cycle cruise from Split to Split. What a fantastic holiday. Lucila and Dora were amazing hosts/leaders. Very helpful, knowledgeable and funny. All the crew were great. The waiters were friendly and efficient. The food was great. Accommodation was better than expected and our room was checked daily with fresh bedding and towels mid week. The e-bikes were in great condition and any issues were sorted out immediately. All in all a very good holiday.

Ana and Borno, our guides, made the experience unforgettable. They put everyone at ease, provided practical and historical information, and made each ride fun. I was mesmerized by the views on the rides. The boat was modern and comfortable. The food was amazing. The entire crew was helpful, cordial and fun. I throughly enjoyed my cruise from Split return of the northern islands of Croatia. Last year I travelled the Southern islands from Dubrovnik to Split . It was so enjoyable I booked this years trip as soon as I came home I am also going to book again for 2027 The cycle tour guide was extremely good , knew routes exceptionally well and explained the route every morning in great detail . We also had a lady who cycled with us who had detailed local and historical knowledge of each location , village and town we visited The boat I was on was attractive , nice size cabin - great shower . A wardrobe and bedside cabinets . The crew were really helpful , we had lovely breakfasts and lunches every day . The captains evening dinner was great too . The boat had a bar and you could have drinks when you want If you want a relaxing cruise , with fun cycling , history and beautiful locations in Croatia - all thrown in together then I strongly recommend one of the trips Sail Croatia run .

We had a lovely time sailing the Islands of Croatia. Our biking guide Andre was Croatian and he had a wealth of knowledge about each destination and did a great job keeping us safe and giving us freedom to enjoy the area. Our sail Croatia coordinator Callum was amazing as well. He was very professional and fun and also very knowledgeable about Croatia. The ship staff were fabulous. They were very friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was a good variety and lunches were always 3 courses and lots of food. Snack were offered in the dining room every day also. Dinners were off the ship at a local restaurant except 2 dinners on the ship. The captain’s dinner and a Bar-b-que. . Both delightful. The only complaint is that the morning coffee was terrible (If you wanted a good coffee you had to buy it), the only portable water was locked up every day at 10pm in the dining room until 7am, and the bedding and towels were only changed once. We showered a lot because of sweating and biking

My Croatia Sailing and Bicycling with Sail Croatia was over the top! The Princeza Diana was a marvel and worked with the limestone aesthetics of Croatia. Captain Mate and his Mates were not just sailors,, they assisted with the bikes and small special requests. The Cycling was pure perfection including the routes, the bikes and our guides. Special mention: Ivan guaranteed ease of ride by communicating daily routes and I must not forget Mario’s story time. One of the group’s favorites! “The Chef”s meals were a curated bonus! His meals Includied tuna steaks, silver fish, shrimp risotto and other Croatian specialties. I could hardly wait for that next meal. Sail Croatia did an outstanding job delivering an exciting vacation and I look forward to traveling with them in the future!

We had an amazing trip on the cycling cruise! The amenities, crew and experience were over the top and a must do. You will be overfed with some of the best food for breakfast and lunch and be well taken care of by the bar and sail staff! The real game changers were Joško and Calum as our guides for all things from the bike route, history, restaurant recs, must see sites, views and entertainment! If you are able to request them as your guides then you would be doing yourself and the rest of the guests a disservice by missing out on the elevated expertise and attitude that they bring to your experience on this trip!

This trip far and away exceeded my expectations. The accommodations were excellent. The food was great, and the ship’s staff was very professional and organized. Can’t express enough how great the cruise directors were; Andro and Mario. I had a fantastic time on this cruise and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable and easy way to travel through Croatia. Everything was extremely well organised and professionally run which made the experience relaxed, enjoyable and a lot of fun. The guides were excellent and complemented each other perfectly Lucy with her knowledge of local history and culture and Ivan with directions and bike safety and their enthusiasm and personalities added to the great atmosphere. They were always available for questions or help and recommended fabulous extra excursions and local restaurants to try. There was genuinely nothing to fault. Everything ran smoothly and every member of the crew were professional, efficient and friendly. Swimming off the back of the boat was a real favourite and was organised whenever safe to do so. Sail Croatia created a magical experience for us on the clean and comfortable ‘Princeza Diana.’ Guides Lucy and Ivan made our cruise feel personal and professional with a keen sense of humor, local expertise and fun. Chef Marko created amazingly delicious multi-course meals that were loved by all. The entire staff was pleasant, polite and hard-working. Bikes were in excellent condition and fun to ride. I signed up for this trip at the last minute and I am so glad I did. It was incredible in every way. Sailing on the Afrodita to all the islands was a truly special experience. If you strive on active and adventurous trips, this trip checks all the boxes, including not only biking and swimming but also enough free time to explore the islands as you want. The guides, Tonka and Natasha, were fabulous. They are knowledgeable, helpful and cheerful, always providing just enough direction but not too much. Since they are Croatians, I got a better sense of the country through them. The trip was extremely well orchestrated. For example, we might depart from one port on an island and then be met by the boat at another port. Never any hiccups, it was like magic! They also would adjust itinary based on weather or port conditions in a seamless way. Another nice thing is that dinners were on our own, so each night, we could do whatever we wanted for the evening.

We had an amazing week with Tonka and Callum onboard the Mali Luka. It was a small group of 10 passengers and the experience couldn't have been more wonderful. I was delighted on the service on the ship and quality of our tour guides Cal and Tonka. Due to potentially bad weather they worked with the captain to tour the south of the island instead of the north. As a bonus they took us to a stone sculpting school. They did extensive research on all our stops about things to see and the history of the area. They were always in tune with our needs and went above and beyond. The ship is in excellent condition, the bikes were like new. The food on the ship was delicious and plentiful. Quite often we said the ships food was better than some of the restaurants we visited. I'm looking forward to booking another holiday with Sail Croatia

We had a great time cycling sailing socialising and visiting the islands our guides Tonka Natasha and Tony were out to ensure everything went smoothly - their clear instructions, information with a friendliness and sense of humour was exceptional The crew too worked hard to ensure the boat was immaculate and where it should be - peter the barman and waiter was efficient with a great sense of humour A mix of nationalities made the conversations at meal times and whenever we were together more interesting I was worried when I booked this holiday for the 3rd time and it didn’t disappoint - we will be back next year for a 4th 😊 Thankyou to our guides and crew you gave it your all

We had plenty of free time and made lots of new friends from around the world. We added extra days in Split (before) and Dubrovnik (after) which were both very enjoyable. Really loved this trip!

Just came back from a wonderful cycling trip. The crew was just excellent....very professional, helpful, organized and fun! The food on the boat was simply outstanding. Every day's itinerary was well organized, with enough rest stops during the daily rides. There was also enough time on each island to do your own exploring. I'm really glad I chose Sail Croatia. I have only positive things to say about them.

I didn’t know what to expect and was a little concerned doing this trip as a solo but it turned out to be beyond fantastic. The only bad thing is that it ended! Calvin and Srdan were amazing guides. The crew was efficient and kind. I needed some extra early morning assistance to get my luggage off the boat for a very early uber ride to the airport, and Iono (?) quickly volunteered and made all my stress go away. The ship was very clean. The food was fantastic. The bikes were easy to use and well maintained. The rides were a fun mix of adventure and sightseeing. I was happy to use my e-bike assist on the longer rides, which made the experience so much pre enjoyable. The swims in the sea were delightful. I easily connected with the other passengers, and I now consider many of them friends. But most of all, it was Calum and Srdan who made the week so special. Thank you!! I hope to return and bring my loved ones with!!

Holiday was great. All staff on the boat were great to deal with. Boat was clean and safe as well as the food was excellent. Only drawback was that there were some people not on ebikes which held up the whole tour several times. Would have liked to ebike longer distances but were not able to because of this issue.

We were a group of 4 siblings, plus spouses, traveling on the Split to Dubrovnik sail/cycle route. We loved everything about the trip. I highly recommend an e-bike which helps on the long hills. Our daily guides were very knowledgeable about the islands we cycled. Each morning before we cycled, the Guide would explain some history of the island, and what to look out for on the upcoming day's ride. One Guide led and the other followed the group. The scenery was spectacular. The food was very good, and the accommodations were comfortable. We stayed in a different port each night so between cycling and walking around the different ports, we got a flavor of each individual island.

I’ve had an amazing time and a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Not only were our guides Ivan and Lucy were amazing during the bike tours, they also provided amazing suggestions on things to do and where to eat. They were very well organized and took care of everything even reservation reservations, or booking tours. Lucy also provided us with so much history and information on every island we were at. It was such an amazing trip and an adventure of a lifetime. They made sure everyone was included and had something to do that, giving many alternatives incase some groups wanted to do their own thing. We made so many unforgettable memories as well as friends. I definitely would recommend and would totally do it again! Lucy and Ivan are the best people, friends, and guides ever!

Fantastic! I traveled with my sister & friends. We shared both Northern/May 30, Mali Ante, & Southern/June 6, Afrodita on the 2 different yachts. After top notch dining, lodging, & exceptional friendly service on the Mali Ante, our second week on Afrodita yacht/crew was a bit of a let down. The towns, e-bike touring & special time shared with family/friends learning about Croatia was great! Again the crew on Mali Ante were professional, fun, & top notch! It also made a huge difference that Mali Ante crew were respectful of guests with cigarette smoking. It’s not fashionable & or healthy to most people.

The guides were great, very informative and knowledgeable throughout the trip. The food was good, and we had the opportunity to see many stunning places. Croatia is a truly beautiful country. One area for improvement would be the towel service, as towels were only changed once a week. I also felt that the recommended gratuity of €105 per guide was quite expensive. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, with plenty of beautiful sights and memorable moments.

They were knowledgeable about the areas we cycled through and provided snippets of the history that truly added value to the rides. Enjoyment of the rides and our overall holiday was paramount. They truly made a first class partnership that enhanced our experience no end. Although the crew were less engaged in one-to-one engagement within our daily activities they made the cruise experience a very enjoyable one and should also be commended.

First off I want to say that the cycling was fantastic. Having said that, our trip was rated a 2.5/5 which is true but that rating is the average of the intensity of the rides. So some days were 1/5 and some were 4/5. We had an issue in our bathroom that was not resolved until the 4th day. The food was mediocre at best. Very little fruit, everything was cold, croissants that weren't baked through, single ingredient salads, only instant coffee unless you were willing to pay extra, Drinks were expensive, you couldn't get single glasses of wine. Our guide was knowledgeable but he spoke so quickly it was difficult to follow what he was saying. Both he and the other guide were friendly and helpful. I found my bike to be comfortable but there were a number of issues with the bikes in general. Croatia is beautiful and I would recommend exploring it by bike but not with SailCroatia.

Our cruise with Sail Croatia was lovely. The biking was a bit more challenging & athletic than anticipated, so we were happy to have e-bikes. But our tour guides Marin & Natasha were knowledgeable & skilled so we always felt safe. Daily rides lasted 3-6 hours, the latter with added excursions. Some on quiet remote roads, but a few on rather busy thruways. I'd suggest offering a more leisurely bike option with site-seeing stops (we did coffee & beach stops but they were very brief) The boat itself was basic but comfortable (premier class). Our room was adequate & clean, with a large bathroom, plenty of hot water & AC. However there were some lacking amenities such as a comfortable lounge area away from the wind when at sail, with seating enough for everyone on board. We were also expecting sun loungers on the top deck, but there were just a few plastic chairs. Lastly the buffet breakfasts were wonderful, but not the plated lunches. I'd suggest offering buffet instead.

This trip exceeded expectations in every way! The guides, Yosko and Calum were so knowledgeable and fun! You could tell they really kept the needs of the group at the forefront! Such a great holiday! Croatia is beautiful, the Croatian people friendly and welcoming. The cycle cruises combine an excellent blend of varied cycling, sailing and sightseeing. The trips are carefully curated to include the most appealing towns and cycle routes. The balance between "group activity" and independent exploration is just right. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and committed to ensuring a great holiday experience for the whole group. I enjoyed the other people on the tour and the guides (Marin and Martin). I did feel that the boat used was not a proper one for this kind of cruise. Once the bikes were loaded there was little room left. I noted other boats when at dock that were roomier on the stern on the middle. Also, the breakfast buffet was poorly organized. Again, there was a lack of space forcing people into a small table area where only one person could get in and had to come back out into the same line. There should be access in the round and not at one of the eating tables. When parked alongside other boats there was no airflow. This became an issue when the air conditioning was not working. The crew was not very friendly, were smoking near the eating area and on their phones. There were no smokers on the tour so it was somewhat disgusting to have to inhale the crews cigarette smoke. They should go off the boat or to the upper deck if they want to smoke. The food was not of good quality. Needs improvement.

Having struggled over the last few years with what works for us as a holiday, my wife and I have bounced between exotic destinations and luxury beach holidays. We’ve found that neither are particularly fulfilling and, although we’ve always enjoyed ourselves, we feel that our experience has been lacking. Having just finished a cruise with Sail Croatia, I can honestly say that, certainly for us, I feel that we’ve found what was missing. A holiday which was centred around our activity level but challenged us to push ourselves further. An experience which allowed us to form friendships with travellers from all over the world. A well led and curated cultural introduction, facilitated by guides (Marin & Olja) who love their country and job, while supporting their guests to bond, experience and enjoy their holiday. The Adriatic islands are now my favorite area - they have it all. The cruise/biking experience was icing on a marvelous cake. Lauren, Andro and crew took good care of the 17 of us with humor, insights and kindness. It’s obvious that the company has figured things out so itinerary can be adjusted as necessary. Wi-Fi worked great, a “WhatsApp” site, good food, fine accommodations. I’d note only that e-bikes should be considered essential due to the distances and grades - all but 2 in our group had them and were VERY grateful.

The cycling itself was great! The island cycling routes are challenging (in a good way) with so many epic views. The ship and (some) crew, however, fell short of expectations. The Dionis boat was old and a bad experience from the start, especially compared to the other boats for the same price (which you walk through & see what you are missing out on). I feel ripped off. Even sail Croatia staff commented on Dionis being the worst! A leaking roof in my cabin, leaking shower, significant slant in my room so my head was lower than my feet in bed, uncomfortable common areas compared to other boats. Very basic, not like in the pictures on the website. Some crew members were not very engaging…seemed like they didn’t want to be there. No help offered with carrying luggage across multiple ships on arrival. Had to ask multiple times for things like a room key for example, or to have the chirping smoked detector fixed. The single supplement fee is outrageous. the food is plentiful but just ok.

Our trip could not have been better! The Princess Diana is a beautiful boat perfectly set up for navigating port to port and biking. Our cabin was comfortable with all the amenities needed though most of our time was spent in the salon, on deck, or biking. We cannot say enough about our tour guides Ivica and Ana. Safety of the riders was always top of mind. Ivica knows the islands intimately and he planned rides with stops for great photos, a swim and coffee or ice cream. Ana’s knowledge of the islands’ history is impressive and her clever antidotes and “myths” entertained us. Chef is a master and the food delicious. Tea and Danny were engaging and professional and took time to explain each dish. Especially memorable was the Captain’s Dinner! The Captain and crew were amazing, getting us to port on time and in a favorable location. We enjoyed watching the docking maneuvers…great team work! The ideal weather and our new biking friends made the entire week perfect.

I travelled as a solo passenger but needn't have worried. From the offset it was the friendliest group of passengers, staff and crew i have ever met. The 2 Sail Croatia leaders, josko and Lauren , were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble, managing to change my picky carnivorous diet to a vegetarian one after 2 days. It was exactly the same with the crew of our boat, the "Dionis"- a very comfortable and ideally sized boat for the holiday- bigger boats around seemed too big and cold compared to the smaller boats. The excursions and cycle routes were absolutely ideal. Most of our 15 passengers opted for the E-bikes but 4 of us had the normal calf powered versions, which didn’t detract from the enjoyment. We had the chance to have a swim stop most days and after a chilly 10 minutes swim, the scorching onboard showers were a very pleasurable welcome experience. This was my first time as a solo traveller on a group trip but i now see it as the only way forward in future

Great time away, food was not to my liking and very bland especially the soups. Mash potato was like slop on plate meat stew very tough. Coffee not nice all agreed bought my own and it went missing. Toilet paper should be filled properly at all times as only little was put in and we kept running out along with others. No ware to sit when weather was so bad as only 4 seats by bar all tables were played straight after breakfast. Breakfast: nothing left one morning at 7.45 when breakfast should have been until 8.30. Plates taken when we were still eating at breakfast meats and cheese removed so fast not time to eat, most days they had breakfast cleared down before 8.15 making many of us feeling rushed and not able to eat what we wanted for our breakfast. The crew were very nice . Would have liked the bikes we paid for to have been available when we were not on ride so we could explore. Felt the whole week centred around them not us.

This was our first visit to Croatia and we loved every minute of it! We had regular bikes and found the rides challenging at times with the 'rolling hills' but so worth it for the views! Beautiful villages, coastline and crystal clear water! The tour guides, Tonka, Matilda and Elena were superb and the crew on board The Emanuel were very attentive and kind, especially Christina! Everything ran so smoothly, and for the first cruise of the season, the weather was fantastic! Made lots of new friends and had a good laugh with like-minded travellers from across the globe! From our cycling guides to the boat's crew to the food everything couldn't have been better. Our daily cycling had enough flexibility for those who wanted to go from point A to point B quickly could do so and those who wanted to stop and take photos could. The rides were broken up with coffee/rest stops such that there was a relaxed rather than hurry-up feeling I'd experienced on other cycling vacations. I wasn't sure how I felt about cycling in the morning rather than part morning, part afternoon with a lunch stop but I actually preferred it to other schedules. Breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold options and I never expected a 3 course lunch each day. The late April water was too cold for me to do more than a quick jump in and out but having the streets and small villages to ourselves was preferable to later in the season and having to avoid crowds. It was a wonderful experience.

Holiday of a lifetime on a cycling cruise on board the ship Princeza Diana doing the Split return South route. Stunning boat. Very large cabins , spotless en suite , cleaned daily. Fantastic cycling guides Ana and Srjan who looked after us and talked about the history of each island. Took in amazing views, great for photo opportunities. The daily swim stops were incredible , highlight of the trip for me. Beautiful crystal clear water. Swam off the boat. Excellent food and top class hospitality from the whole crew. Good value for money. I am booking again for next year to do a hiking cruise. This is a must do trip for anyone wanting to see Croatia !!!

It was a great trip. Food was great, scenery, bikes were comfortable. Weather was fantastic for 6 out of the 7days Confirm your checkout time before you make your travel plans after your cruise. We understood checkout was 10am, therefore booked our bus to Dubrovnik for 1230pm then were told checkout was 8am. Cost us extra money for late rescheduling of our bus times to an earlier time. Our only complaint though

The trip was very well organized. We were updated daily on how the day would go and than also sent all the info on Whatsapp. Everything was above and beyond my expectations even though we had to change plans a few times. Provide daily written out itinerary for people to actually read what times and where things were going on. Have an intercom (overhead speaker) so people can be alerted of pertinent info for all passengers. Verbal daily communication from guide was poor on daily activities. Cycle times need to be longer with less “coffee” breaks (30 min ride, 45 min stop) Our guide, was rude. Our other guide, Mario, was great. Overall, first impression of accommodations found that a bed overhead light was broken with wires exposed, safe didn’t work, tight quarters and air conditioning was poor, Reported broken light immediately and it was repaired.. Safe reported not working, told how to use by crew, but those instructions didn’t work….finally found written safe instructions on top shelf (which we couldn’t see beforehand) and was able to get the safe working on our own.. Food was ok. Bikes were outstanding quality….so good, I’m considering purchasing that brand. Swim stops were great.

This is a must do trip,a great way to combine abit of exercise and to explore Croatia. The two guides Marin and Josip were excellent very knowledgeable and nothing was a problem. Everyday they explained the plan for the next day so you always knew what was happening. They also gave recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing at the port stops. Great staff. Bike routes well laid out and planned with interesting stops for swimming and cafes to get a delicious cup of coffee. Bikes were well maintained and very easy to ride. Any problems that did arise were handled quickly. Breakfast was great with a nice variety of food to choose from. Coffee not so good, needs improvement. Could purchase cappuccino on board which was good. Lunch definitely needs improvement. Most times it was cold. Soup was watery. Desserts were delicious. No on board safety protocols. We didn’t realize until third day into trip that life vests were under our bed. I would definitely recommend this trip.

My family and I, all adults, enjoyed a fabulous time aboard the Mali Ante just recently during the week of September 13 - 20th, 2025. The chef made delicious meals and offered non-meat food options for me, Mario provided excellent service in the dining room and salon. I can't thank them all enough for providing an incredible sailing and cycling adventure for us all! I hope to return for another trip with Sail Croatia and would love to see this crew again! This was our seventh B & B trip and we had an excellent time. The staff and guides did an excellent job throughout the week. The food on the ship was very good. We used ebikes which I would recommend, they made the hills which there are many very easy to peddle up. There were not any panier bags on the bikes to carry anything in so I would recommend brining a small backpack or sling bike while riding.

Our tour guides were Ana and Marin. Our guides were awesome – they knew so much of the history of Croatia and shared it freely. The food on the boat was OK. The breakfast buffet was really good; lunch was hit and miss but mostly good. Some people found the lunches not quite enough food if you are a big eater. Drink prices on the boat were really reasonable. Would ask that you recommend the e-bike option for everyone as there was a lot of waiting for the manual bikes as some of the hills on the islands are no joke. A water bottle holder would be nice on the bikes. Would recommend the cycling jersey be included in the package. It would be great advertising for you. To charge $70 for a cycling jersey after you have spent over $2000 USD seemed excessive. Loved that our captain Martin was very safety conscious even if it meant we didn’t always get a swim stop as the seas were too rough. Our bike guide Marin also was very safety conscious which was great to ensure we completed

This was my first time to Croatia and my daughter and I spent our first week on the Sale Croatia boat, the Princesa Diana. This was a pretty remarkable time. They have figured out everything you need for a great cruise. You sail from Island to Island, bike in the morning, swim in the afternoon and make some great friends. If you’re not comfortable biking longer distances, definitely choose the E bike The food and company is terrific. I saw more of Croatia than I ever would have done on my own. I highly recommend this company.

When you combine bikes, beaches, islands, great food and new friends it doesn't get much better than this. The islands we went to and the scenic bike rides were beautiful. Our guides Josef and Ilona were fantastic. Both were very engaging, informative and had a great sense of humour. Josef was conscientious of all riders abilities, he was such a great leader and made our trip very fun in so many ways. The crew on the boat were also great. I went on the Sail Croatia cycle cruise (Dubrovnik to Split) in June/July 2025 with my immediate family. Despite the heat, we had a marvelous time. The biking aspect was well-organized and our guides, Miranda and Matilda, were full of information and stories about our cycling routes and destinations. They were so much fun! The crew (apologies for lack of the correct Croatian letters on my keyboard), Toncii, Halim, Dinko, Zdravko, and our Captain Ivan, made the trip smooth and enjoyable. Each day brought a different view of Croatia. What a memorable way to spend my first visit here! Would love to come back :)

My second Sail Croatia holiday and just as good as the first. I chose the Split Northern Cycle Tour to explore some new places and more of some of the places I'd visited previously, It was a great trip with an excellent multi national bunch of people on board. We were well looked after and the rides were excellent, scenic, varied, interesting and challenging but do go for the e-bike option unless you are a serious bike rider!

Superb trip, so well looked after by all the crew and our wonderful guides Miranda and Matilda. When they said e bikes were powerful , too true. No hill however steep was an issue! Worth paying the extra for e-bike as it made cycling in the heat pleasurable. Also worth paying extra for cabin up top. Travelling with my sister in law , we had plenty of space and bathroom was fine. Food was tasty and there was always tea, coffee and water available . I was on the Afrodita Sail Croatia 2nd-9th June 2025. The trip was fabulous. Brilliantly stunning scenery every day, rides varied but always such fun. Wonderfully led by the excellent Ivan and Lucija they just made the whole experience so much more fun. Some lovely beach stops along the way and even on occasion some free time to ourselves on the bikes to explore. The food on board was plentiful and so tasty, loads of variety for breakfast and three course fine dining lunches each day, Andre the barman was brilliant too. And plenty of free time to explore each day.

We really enjoyed cycling the Croatian Islands and our knowledgeable guides shared many interesting details about the history and culture of Croatia. We did two trips, Split Northern return and the Split South to Dubrovnik. Both were fantastic trips and different in their own way. Tonka and Lola guided our first journey and did a great job of supporting us on our old school pedal bikes. Marin and Karlo were our second set of guides and once again provided excellent support for what was our first e-bike experience. The Sail Croatia ships (Mali Ante and Columbo) were both comfortable and are staffed by an amazing crew. The captain and crew's hard work and dedication is reflected in the pristine condition of the ships. The food for both cruises was delicious and plentiful. We did a Sail Croatia cycle tour in 2018 and enjoyed it so much we came back.! This second adventure exceeded our expectations and left us with some wonderful holiday memories.

My entire family loved cruising from one beautiful Croatian island to the next and touring around each stop on e-bikes. We got to see much more of each island than if we had hiked or just stayed overnight in each port town/city. The crew & guides are lovely people: professional, friendly & kind. They were knowledgable about each stop, offering wonderful suggestions for dining & site-seeing while on our own to explore. My family and I are still stunned at the many incredible views we biked to and the fun of having an active vacation and meeting great people while enjoying wonderful food and wine and exploring so much of beautiful Croatia. The small sized ships allowed access to smaller, quieter, and less busy ports allowing access to the real charm of Croatia. We loved the varied destinations, ports, and rides. No two days were the same. It also allowed us to really interact with the other guests and get to know them well. Took this trip with my family as a last hurrah before my sister gets married. It was everything and more I could have hoped for! I truly believe it was the best way to see Croatia. We did the cycling cruise and visited so many incredible places on the islands we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. Our boat was always clean, the meals were FANTASTIC, but what really made it was the crew and our cycling guides. Haleem, one of our crew members, catered to every need and was always around to chat with us or teach us a new card game. What an amazing experience - see more of the real Croatia away from tourist ports!. Our tour leaders were fantastic. Ivica was so knowledgeable about the islands and history and always very aware for our safety. Calhum and his tales and folklore of each town… and of course the best music choice! The whole crew - so attentive to all our needs. Azra and Ino cooked up amazing food and great desserts. Keno always had a smile as he welcomed us to breakfast and served up our drinks. The captain Mate and Ilya- excellent boatman and of course captain Mate’s boat was beautiful and well maintained. Very modern bathrooms with great hot water! My one word of VERY important advice - get the e-bike!!! Especially with loop! Can’t wait for the next one!

The islands were beautiful and the combination of sail and cycling was the best way of seeing them. We saw so many incredible and interesting things. The cycling was more challenging than I expected but the group and the guides kept us all going and the achievement of completing the rides on a pedal bike with the amazing views of the islands was special. We were lucky to be part of a small group of 8 passenger from UK and USA. Everyone got on so well and made a great group that added to the experience. Ivica was a great lead guide with so much experience and local knowledge, he was friendly and looked after the group. Calum kept the fun coming with good stories, playlists, and the best recommendations on where to eat and drink. The Dionis was a lovely boat with a very happy and friendly crew, we felt very comfortable and looked after. The meals on the boat were amazing and kept us fuelled up for the cycling. Our first cycling holiday but won’t be our last.

The locations and crew were outstanding. Our guides Mario and Marin were full of knowledge and stressed safe riding. The crew on the boat were also very good. The booking process was less than stellar. My son and I were assigned a room with one double bed, not two singles. Since are large people, it did not work. He slept under the bed. Booking knew the assignment but would not/could not change it. Serious screw up by the office staff.

This was my first time on Sail Croatia cycling cruise, and it far exceeded anything I Imagined, The cycling routes were stunning, with breathtaking vistas. Immersed in the scent of lavender and rosemary along the way, and the olive groves lining the landscape.. What truly made the trip exceptional were the two cycling guides, Ivica and Anita. Their skill and attention to saftey helped me feel completely at ease. Ivica went beyond expectations with optional bonus rides and hikes. His deep knowledge of the area's routes and history added an unexpected layer of richness to the experience. Anita's warmth and knowledge of history and restaurant recommendations made them a great duo. The crew of the Mall Ante were warm, attentive and made us feel completely taken care of. I felt like part of the family. I already have reccomended Sail Croatia and I just got back two days ago. Thank you to everyone who made my solo trip the first of many cycling trips to come.

The boat “ Mali Anti “ was more comfortable and larger than I expected. My cabin was large with wardrobe and cupboard space again more than I am used to on smaller boats . The shower and bathroom was clean and functional . The Crew were always around to help , immaculate in serving us and attending all our needs . The food was enjoyable and plenty bearing in mind we were cycling every day . I met many new friends and had a fun time which was again above my expectations. The crew who took us on our cycle trips , Ivica and Anita were brilliant. Helped us all from flat tyres repair , advice on restaurants, bars.interesting stories of the history of all the locations and islands they took us to . They made us safe and looked after us making the whole week just perfect The islands were stunning , cycling through beautiful villages , vineyards and deserved coffee stops meant I had such a fabulous holiday I am back home for 2 days and have booked again for next year!

Three reasons to go. Boat: Gorgeous comfy boat and cabin with such beautiful wood work with lots of places for the guests to spread out and relax. Bike: Awesome bike riding through all terrain with a close up view of each island. I am not a big bike rider but an relatively fit so found the rides enjoyably challenging. Never felt rushed. Ebikers went ahead and classic bikes hung back and paced themselves. And the food! Being a vegetarian I did not want to get my hopes up but boy did they impress me. Incredibly well prepared food. And with all the biking I had an appetite that was well satisfied. And consider yourself blessed if you get Ivan and Marin as your guides. Those guys took such good care of everyone - especially me being the only solo guest. And Marvin's historical briefings for each island was something I looked forward to each day! Thanks for the lifetime memories!

I felt that while the guides did an exemplary job. The large number of cyclists (29) in the group was dangerous. The group should have been split into two. Complimentary tea and coffee while on board would have been appreciated. Other cycling tours we’ve been on gave out water bottles which are fun to have and a source of advertising for the company.

I travelled solo, on the Emanuel boat on the Cycling cruise from Split to Dubrovnik. Cycling was a great way to see the different islands of Croatia. The guides (Ana and Josko) knew the area really well, and organised a fun ride on each island with beautiful views. The e-bike allowed me to sweat or relax as much as I wanted. There were 3 people who got a regular bike (no e-assist) but they were pretty serious cyclists. I'd recommend an e-bike unless you want a difficult bike ride on your holiday. I appreciated the daily stops for swimming off the boat too! I really enjoyed the schedule of breakfast and lunch on the boat - With a 2-3 hour cycle in between. And then you get your own free time to explore an island after lunch. Great way to explore, relax, eat local, and experience each island. As a solo traveler, I paid a 50% extra to have my own room. It's worth it for me, but to each their own. I'd highly recommend this cruise, and hope I get to go again soon!!

The crew went to great lengths daily to address any questions or concerns. The food was great and if you liked your morning eggs other than was offered, the cook took orders. The food was great and as much as I enjoyed the cycling - which was my main reason for booking this holiday - I also enjoyed all of the walks and talks on Croatian history. We traveled with family and friends - everyone had a connection to at least one other person and my sister - the organizer - had done a cruise on the Mali Ante the year before, so certainly all of that familiarity contributed, but the trip was just a wonderful combination of exercise, relaxation, wonderful people, perfect weather and idyllic destinations. I don't remember ever being that relaxed and content.
