It was a great experience. The scenery was outstanding - every island had so much to offer. The guides Miran and Johhny were awesome. They kept the group safe and we learned a lot about the history of each island and Croatia in general. They treated everyone like family. The ship, Emanuel, was great- rooms were good, sun deck on the top is nice. We were fed well- breakfast and lunch every day. I enjoyed the authentic Croatian cuisine at lunch. The cooks made outstanding meals.

My husband and I chose sail Croatia for our honeymoon and it was the perfect week. We did the northern split hiking route on the mali ante with Mario and Matilda and it was perfect! The crew was SO kind and truly just a joy to be around. Mario and Matilda work awesome as a team and made you feel like part of the group every single day. They are so kind and educated, and it’s obvious they love what they do. I cannot recommend those two enough as guides! I can only hope when we come back we get lucky enough to have the same team onboard. It was so much fun! The hikes were awesome. The swim spots were perfect. It was honestly the best week.

The crew aboard the Salve di Mare looked after us from start to finish with great attentivness and humour. The boat was beautiful and spacious and I loved watching the skillful captain bringing us in and out of port. Wonderful food- (how do they do that in such a small kitchen)?! And of course, the spectaclar scenery of Croatia- crystal clear waters, majestic mountains and the idyllic port villages and towns. And finally a special mention for our hiking guide, Mate and our customer care and everything else, Sasha. Both were excellent at their job and looked after us very well and with great humour, which I loved. A wonderful experience and great memories made.

This trip far exceeded our expectations. We knew the scenery and history along the Croatian Coastline was impressive but add to this a beautiful boat, wonderful crew and Sail Croatia reps and delicious food - what more could you want? We loved that you could find your own evening meal on shore and that you could join in the hiking or relax on board with a book. No pressure. Excellent holiday from start to finish. Mate & Sasa our hike & tour leads were brilliant - friendly, approachable & very knowledgable. Communication of information about the hikes, the history & the area were always spot on, the variety of hikes and locations we visited were amazing. Always felt safe & guided & had the best experience - fell in love with Croatia & its people. Salve di Mare is a beautiful boat, immaculately clean, great size rooms & very comfortable with plenty of space to move around. The food was amazing with a different 3 course lunch menu every day. Service in the bar & lounge from Marko & Vlaho was also excellent & we built up a great rapport with the whole team. We met a great crowd of people from across the world & have made some new forever friends. Would thoroughly recommend Sail Croatia.

This was one of the best travel experiences of our lives. The boat was beautiful, the others travellers were great, the biking and scenery was spectacular and the guides and crew made every effort to make sure everything was excellent. Ivica was an excellent tour guide and made sure that we were all together and had exciting, enjoyable and safe bike rides. Ana made sure that no one was left behind and provided excellent information on the places we visited along with a few myths, legends and ghost stories😀. Ana and Dan (sp) were excellent bartenders and servers and made sure we stayed hydrated and were well fed. The food was excellent and we were served some traditional croatian food that was better than we had in restaurants on shore after our trip. My compliments to the chef!! We would definitely recommend this trip. Once you have tried a small boat experience you will not want to go back to the big cruise lines

The accommodation, food and tour guides surpassed my expectations. The staff are obviously proud of the service they provide and continuously displeyed a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism. Croatia's coastline is simply beautiful and the cities of Dubrovnik and Split were well worth the visit. The smaller islands were interesting and pretty if missing cultural interest, but thanks to our wine-themed cruise, there was always something to see/do. The crew and especially our guide Lola were cheerful, helpful and fun (my husband and I were traveling with a solo friend, so with 3 at our table, we were able to share a lot of meals with Lola). We've done a number of cruises in the past, from 120 passengers up to about 2000, and unfortunately I'm prone to seasickness, so on that front the trip was not great - I definitely appreciated our captain's decision to skip one island due to rough seas! The smaller size ship also meant that our cabin was much smaller than what we've experienced before and there was really nowhere other than the dining area for people to gather together when it was raining which was unfortunate. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

Myself, my wife and 9 friends had an absolutely brilliant week, sailing around Croatia on a perfectly sized boat (30 passengers). The accommodation was great, the food delicious and the amount of hiking spot on. Some hikes were challenging some were easy but it was a great balance. The guides were friendly, informative and looked after us just right. I highly recommend the trip to active folks who want to see the sun, sea and Croatia.

We had a wonderful experience meeting new friends and cycling across the islands. We had e-bikes which made the cycling easier because the hills are big. Our food on the Mali Luka was exceptional. The crew was great! Lots of fun!

Fabulous holiday!! Our 2 guides Tonka and Elena were very professional, experienced, kind and fun. The breakfasts and lunches were very good, and I appreciated the availability of fresh fruit every day. We were not 100 percent confident that we would be fit enough or enjoy the experience but we absolutely enjoyed the trip. The tour guides, 2 of them, treated us like family and protected on the roads. The boat, Emanuel, with their captain and crew were a well tuned group. The food on board was excellent! The ebike made the fitness level almost irrelevant, as we watched our 72 year old female group mate keep up with the front guide.

We took the Sail Croatia Explorer Cruise from Dubrovnik to Split and we had the Time of our Lives. Our entire crew was amazing from Vicko our Representative who was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the area. Every morning he provided us with the details of all the local spots to visit and directions on how we could get there. As well as providing amazing stories and history about the area, Our Bartenders Damir & Niksa were so friendly and attentive if we ever needed anything they were there to provide & provide a good time. Our Chefs Vlado & Daki we so amazing at preparing Gluten Free meals for my wife to fit her dietary needs and never made her feel like she was missing out on a meal. Even though we had an itinerary change due to weather our sailors and captain made us feel safe and kept us informed of the changes as soon as possible. The entire crew was so amazing and the excursions prepared even with a change were so engaging and amazing. We would do this every year!

We really enjoyed the small ship atmosphere and being able to get to know your fellow passengers and make new friendships. The food was exceptional and it was nice not having every minute being planned for us. We were on the wine cruise and the winery experiences were fantastic. The tour leader (Lola) and the rest of the crew went out of their way to accommodate every request. I’d definitely recommend this company.

We travelled from Dubrovnik to Split on the beautiful Queen Jalena in May. Our tour coordinator, Lola, was incredible, generously sharing her knowledge of each port we docked at, daily menus, schedule updates, and helping with any and all queries along the way. The entire ship crew were absolutely fantastic — warm, professional, attentive, and always welcoming. The service throughout the trip was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere onboard was just so relaxed. Every stop along the coastline was stunning, the wineries we visited were passionate about their craft, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. In addition, we had the most incredible group of fellow travellers, all with their own interesting stories to share. Everyone looked out for each other, which made the journey even more special. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to explore the Croatian coast in comfort while enjoying outstanding hospitality.

Fabulous!!!!! This trip for exceeded my expectations. Tonka and Elena were incredible cycle tour guides, balancing fun, safety, great cycling, routes, flexibility for weather conditions …. All to make the needs of the individuals making of our group. Our cabin was absolutely beautiful with a walk-in closet! I did not expect daily housekeeping. Anna was great. The food on this trip was spectacular. Breakfast and lunches were absolutely amazing. We will definitely recommend this trip to others.

I can't recommend Sail Croatia enough! We booked a bareboat charter 8 months in advance for a week on Night Sky, a 45 foot Beneteau. The boat was in great shape and sailed well. It kept 6 of us comfortable for a week as we sailed through the islands and made many stops. Will definitely book with them again!

I can't think of a better way to explore the islands of Croatia! We spent days cycling through the scenic countryside with super competent and fun guides, and evenings docked in pretty little port towns on our beautiful ship. The Croatian crew was fabulous, the food was great and everything was really well organized. The whole week felt adventurous and relaxing at the same time. I loved every minute of it!

Our 7 day cruise and excursions on the Romantic Star absolutely wonderful. The food was fantastic, the accommodations were top notch and the crew was phenomenal. 16 friends enjoyed a 7 day cruise on the Romantic Star and it was wonderful. Our food was delish & prepared with such presentation by Sivilja & Laura.. Our Cruise manager - Anita- was very informative about every island, and made excellent recommendations and reservations. Captain Ivan was Great- we even got him On the dance floor!! I'm sorry I cannot give a 5 star review. The great things about the ship was the chef, the crew and the facilities. All great - clean, organized, well run. My disappointment was in the lack of excursions on the islands between Dubrovnik and Split. I thought that we should have some kind of introduction to each island and short walking tour each time we docked. Everyday was a swim day and because the water was too cold to swim I had hoped that an adjustment would be made to the schedule for an alternate activity. Perhaps dock earlier to give us some time off the boat. There was too much sitting around time. From breakfast, through lunch there was nothing to do if you did not swim (& no one did). We did not disembark til 2 pm. Our tour dir. did her job perfunctorily and made arrangements as requested, She was not as visible or involved with our group. Although she said she has been doing this for 4 years she came off as unsure and inexperienced.

The boat, Princeza Diana, was lovely and the crew was outstanding! Our daily lunches were just delicious, way nicer than we anticipated. The wine cruise was amazing in all respects. The ship, staff and tour director surpassed all expectations. The food was very good. The chef and assistant produced incredible meals and catered accordingly for anyone with allergies etc. Lola, our tour director, was so knowledgeable and ensured our wine experiences were memories for life. The ship was perfect and our captain made decisions when the weather changed to take the safest and smoothest route. I would highly recommend this trip.

We traveled as a group of 16. Anita the tour director was a superstar. Far exceeding any and all expectations I had. I had some health issues while traveling and she made sure I got to medical help in the local village as well as coordinating a ferry ride to the Split hospital. Anita made me feel like family. The boat was very clean and the crew made sure any need that came up was addressed. The food was good. The Captain exuded confidence and made sure the guest knew he was in control of the ship at all times, I highly recommend the Romantic Star. I am sure your experience will be as satisfying as mine was.

We experienced great service and were completely satisfied with our trip. The captain and crew did an outstanding job navigating us through the outer islands near Split. Our cycling guides Miranda and Lucy were always cheerful and enthusiastic. The e-bikes are very user friendly and can power up the hills with no problem.. Lucy helped us to learn about Croatian culture and history at our rest stops while riding through the beautiful countryside. Extra add ons like wine tasting, olive oil tasting and a meal on a local farm.added to the experience.
