Sail Croatia was a wonderful fun experience and we will definitely be returning. We met great people and will be having a reunion with our new friends in a couple of years time. What a wonderful trip we had! Our time on the boat (Olimp), was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever had! The ship was so comfortable and the crew was outstanding. Our time on the Romantic Star was great. Peter & I enjoyed it all, Vicko our rep was incredibly knowledgeable & friendly while also professional, the staff were there when needed & nothing requested was a problem. From swim stops to tours, (some tours better than others), it was all enjoyed while making friends along the way. My only regret was not writing down the name of the chef on board so I could personally thank her & publicly speak her name & of her talents in the kitchen, her food was excellent!

Had a great time! Beautiful scenery, fun swim stops and interesting walking tours. Vedran was our tour manager and was excellent. Food was great and huge quantities. All of the staff were great- Lucy, Pamela, and the Joseph’s. Rooms were bigger than expected, quiet, and AC worked great. Only downside- not enough places to hang wet things. Our group was very compatible with people from US, New Zealand, Australia, Tasmania, and Cypress. I thought the walking tours were excellent. We will recommend this cruise and the company to all of our friends.

We have been all over the world and had some amazing experiences from dogsledding in Alaska, riding the Rocky Mountaineer through Canada and walking the Camino through Spain but nothing will ever top this cruise. Our ship had just 15 other guests who were all wonderful friendly people. Every meal was a taste sensation and every day was filled with swimming in clear blue 27° water, visiting magnificent villages and experiencing a wonderfully vibrant part of the world. Our cruise holiday was idyllic from every standpoint! The Olimp luxury yacht offered a most unique cruise experience which felt very singular. We were indulged with a daily dip in the Adriatic’s crystalline and refreshing waters in tiny private coves where we could swim, snorkel or paddle board. It was a true highlight! The smaller cruise format allowed passengers to forge a more intimate interaction with one another which truly made for a memorable sail. My husband and I traveled to Croatia ,to see the country of my maternal grandparents. It was an incredible experience! The people of Croatia are helpful and welcoming. Many people speak excellent English which helps when asking for directions. The cities we visited were easily accessible along the Croatian coastline. There were some places that were challenging to access, due to stairs. We were able to climb at our own pace. The small ship, Olimp, was lovely, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the fact that if I was tired, or the weather was too hot, I could return to the ship and relax . After breakfast, we swam in a small cove everyday. What made the trip even more enjoyable, was meeting fellow passengers from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States. I absolutely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience Croatia.

Our trip on board the Katarina was much more than we had imagined! The boat was so comfortable with lots of space to spread out or cozy when you wanted to be with others. Every aspect of this holiday is great - the crew, the itinerary, the food , the relaxation around the secluded swim areas and the differing coastline destination culture & vibe. The ship accommodations were just right for us with a relatively spacious room and plenty of room on the boat to spread out. We loved the smaller ship stops and the planned excursions available to us that were small adventures along the way. Our host and crew were exceptionally nice and helpful in meeting our needs. The only thing missing would be access to the TV aboard the ship.

From pre-boarding to waiting for different transportation upon departure, the experience was seamless. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with my family and other passengers on the boat. Our cruise manager Dino did amazing with constant and clear communication, being available for anything we needed whenever, and the knowledge and pride in their country to share with all of us. I was the youngest on the group by 40 years yet I still had such a fun time at the swim spots and islands we visited. The food was great, crew did amazing with everything and I was thoroughly comfortable throughout my entire stay. Highly recommend and I will be back with more friends and family in the future!

My husband and I had a fantastic time on this cruise. Croatia is a beautiful country and what a perfect way to see it for first time. A great itinerary - nice mix of organized activity and free time. Swim stops were amazing. Dino and the crew went out of their way to ensure we were safe and well looked after. Dino had recommendations, solutions, ideas, suggestions for everything we could have wanted or needed. The Captain’s dinner and group dinner in Žrnovo village were extra special. The walking tour with Nik in Žrnovo was a fascinating view into traditional village life years ago - we could have listened to him all evening. Terrific food on board! We had a great group of travel companions and left the cruise with new friends and memories for a lifetime.

Our 7 days on Esperanza were wonderful from Karla our tour leader, to our esteemed captain who took us safely to port each day with an eye on the weather and our safety in mind. The breakfasts and lunches each day were delicious with excellent care from the bar/wait staff. The crew members were quick to help and got us docked with minimum fuss and our housekeeper kept our cabins tidied each day. The islands visited were delightful and made one want return one day. The trip from Dubrovnik to Split was awesome. I have been in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years and I would like to offer some suggestions: -towels need to be dried some way, we had to use them wet. -shower floor is very slippery, you might want to do something. -regular coffee and bread can be better at breakfast. Sweet bread was fine. -Lunch can be better as well. Dessert when made by the lady cook was awesome. she is really good. All the crew offered a fantastic and warm service at all times.. congratulations for that. Ally and Linda worked non stop and the boys as well. Captain was a lot of fun and so friendly and easy going. He did a very good job. Having the boat from Blue Cave take us directly to the ship was a great idea. thank you. Jacuzzi was a little small for a big crowd and we had to take turns. -Dinning room was very noisy during meals. Too many people in a small area. I wish we could extend and eat outside. My husband and I travelled with Sail Croatia on May 17, 2025 on Romantic Star for a wine tour of the Dalmatian islands. The yacht is very well appointed and the room size was surprisingly roomy for the ship. Our stops were well coordinated and the Croatian wines we sampled were very good. Included 3 course lunches were good. The crew were helpful and our cruise director Klara was a plus. We highly recommend this company.

If I could give this cruise a ten I would. This was a trip of a lifetime! The entire crew and our guide Vicko took wonderful care of our entire group. The food cooked by the ship’s chef was delicious and the stops along the way were amazing. We learned a lot about the history of each area and could do as much or as little as we wanted. Everyday we had a swim stop followed by a delicious lunch before docking at that day’s destination. We walked, swam, hiked, biked and also relaxed with afternoon and evening cocktails and local dinners. I always said I would never go on a cruise and if you feel the same this is the one to go on. I highly recommend this trip and the ship we were on, Kraljica Jelena.

My husband and I travelled with my parents and we had the best time! Dino, George, Linda, Allie and the rest of the crew were amazing and did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We could have not been happier with the trip! Since I didn’t get to fill out the iPad survey on the ship I have a few minor suggestions: My husband would have preferred breakfast that wasn’t the same every morning. The shower floor was very slippery so a mat in the bottom would have been nice. The dining room was very loud when we were all there so more softer surfaces to absorb the noise would help. The days were arranged so nicely and we felt taken care of very well. Thank you!!

My two siblings, their spouses and I wanted to do a siblings trip, and chose the Wines of Croatia tour, the first of the 2026 season. Anita was our cruise director, and she was what made this trip so fantastic! With only 18 passengers, it was a super fun group. Anita was so helpful and friendly, which also seems to describe most of the people we met in Croatia! She's great at planning and communicating, and a pleasure to be with. The wine events are terrific and so varied! And evenings where you may want to find a restaurant (sometimes the wine events include dinner), Anita sent us recommendations in the ports for meals and things worth seeing. Chef Silvija did a fine job, and we enjoyed "cookie time" at 11am. Glad we all opted for the Blue Lagoon (short visit, but worth the trip!). Dubrovnik was where we ended our trip - amazing place, but if I had a choice, I'd start my trip there as we had culture shock with the huge crowds. Rooms lovely, and bedding comfy. Great captain and crew!

It's a very nice boat and wonderful crew! The ports were all fabulous. We loved each island that we visited. The food was plentiful and well prepared. We had unseasonably cool weather, but we were still able to enjoy a swim stop or two. We could always find a spot to enjoy cruising. Our cruise manager, Vedron was warm and friendly. He had a great sense of humor and gave wonderful port talks. We especially enjoyed the bike tour in Mljet National Park and the Military tour on Hvar. I would have like another opportunity to do a bike tour on another island possibly.

Number one, the staff was excellent! From the time we entered onto the ship to the time we got off they were always there when we needed them. If someone also had food issues, they were also accommodating to the persons needs. The director, Ivan, also personalized, and went above and beyond some of the things to help us and make our experience very memorable! The staff also in charge of swimming, cooking, serving, cleaning, bartending were all very friendly. Second, the ship was in great condition and kept clean. Third, the two tours that were included were great with Ivan. Fourth, the Captain’s dinner was great and the band was excellent! And, the people that were on the ship with us ended up to be the best and we all had so much fun together! A feeling of family! Ivan, the director was superb!! Captain Ivan was also superb!

From start to finish this was a once in a lifetime holiday. The boat Queen Jelena was so beautiful. The crew were polite and helpful and friendly. We sailed a 7 day cruise with Sail Croatia. The boat is called Katarina & it is part of the Elegance line. Captain Ivan, his staff and the cruise director were so welcoming and attentive. Our tour manager, Ioanna, was the shining star of the cruise. She is very knowledgeable about Croatia’s history, top things to do on each island, always goes the extra mile and consistently to ensure guests are well versed in all possibilities, she over delivers on every aspect of the role and has a great communication style, very light and funny. The crew is wonderful as well, very hard working and dedicated to their jobs. The cook staff was incredibly talented, and meals were delicious. And the captain was just lovely. Definitely one of the cleanest sails I have ever experienced. I would absolutely recommend the Olimp, it’s a family-owned boat and the Captain is the son of the owner.

Anita had so many ideas of ways to explore each destination that it was easy to pick the excursion experiences that were right for our family. She was always available for questions, provided endless tips and tricks to optimize our time in Croatia, and was simply delightful to be around. The trip was easy to book, with lots of helpful tips and instructions on how to find to the ship in Split harbour. The itinerary was just perfect, island hopping everyday and stopping for swimming while spending a relaxing morning sailing and sunbathing on deck. Our tour host, Dino, made our trip truly memorable as well as the other guests we spent our week with. Dino was amazing, such a delightful guy. Our group is still messaging each other on the WhatsApp chat that Dino set up. We were informed each day of what to expect, what we could see, what time we were setting off, where to eat, drink, best places for anything that any guest was looking for. The holiday was a delightful balance of being well looked after whilst freedom to see/do as much as we wanted. Remember to bring more long-sleeved clothing if travelling in May as evenings are cool. Lunch was a tasty 3-course cooked meal which I would have preferred as a buffet selection personally. Definitely recommend the trip!

A fantastic relaxing 7 nights on the Romantic Star, Elegance cruise. A brilliant way to see the Croatian islands. Excellent service on board from our Captain Ivan, all the crew and our Tour Manager, Ioanna, who put 150% into making sure we all had a good time. The food was delicious and from beginning to end we didn’t need to worry about a thing. Every detail had been carefully planned to make the holiday perfect. 1. The wifi should work better. 2. For the price of the trip, I expected that we would have access to a good coffee machine 24/7. The urns provided were not satisfactory. 3. The excursions were overpriced. 4. The “included” tour of Dubrovnik should have included a bus to take passengers to the old town. 5. There should be enough treats during the coffee and tea hour (11-12) so everyone has a chance to get a snack. 6. The staff were friendly. 7. The boat was well kept. 8. Our rooms were kept clean. 9. The price of wine (bottles and glasses) were overpriced. 10. The captain’s dinner was very nice. It would have been better if wine was included.

Not sure where to even start - we had smiles on our faces from the moment we were greeted by our cruise rep for the trip, Vedran. He made us feel welcome and we knew we were in a fabulous trip! The staff of 7 (not including Vedran and Captain Gordan) did everything they could to make our 7 days the best they could ever be. Everyday we went to a new island full of beauty unlike anything we've ever seen! Vedran gave us some much education, information and recommendations at each location which was extremely helpful! His passion for Croatia is infectious! Our room was cleaned every morning by sweet Ella (a thank less job but very appreciated). Our room was very comfortable - we opted for a room on the lower level and it was perfect! The chefs - Frane and Ana, created a lovely breakfast and delicious, large lunches every day and they were great! Our waiters/baretenders - Tomo and Pamela - were so professional and so fun to get to know. I miss everyone so much! Until next time.

Thoroughly enjoyed cruising the Croatian islands on our Dubrovnik to Split and return to Dubrovnik tour. Each port we stopped at represented a lesson in history. Thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour in Split and Dubrovnik with the local guides as well as the fabulous dinner with wine in Stari Grad at a local farm restaurant. Our morning swimming stops were a pleasure and the food served on the boat was divine. But there were negatives: 1. Our lower level cabins were adjacent to the engine room therefore when the boat left port early in the morning, no further sleep or talking could be had. These cabins were priced the same as the forward lower level cabins which seems unfair. 2. No itemised bar bills were provided so you had to assume that what you were billed for, you actually drank. 3. The boats internet was rubbish. 4. When rafted up at port with other boats, crossing over was difficult at times due to the height of each boat I.e. need individual ramps and not step up or down.

I would have given this experience a 5* as almost everything was perfect with the exception of a few things. Beach towel for one person for the entire week is not acceptable. Changing of the bath towels every few days is also not acceptable. Breakfast time should be longer. Everything else was great !

Cruise delivered as promised, a trip that had something for everyone and we were very happy with our decision to go with Sail Croatia! Vedran, our cruise director kept everything running like clockwork from the airport transfers to the excursions, responding to questions right away and making it all appear effortless though I am sure behind the scenes this was not easy! The other crew were very cheery the entire week and the ship was very clean. The chefs made us custom omelettes each morning for breakfast which were delicious! We also enjoyed getting to know the other travelers on the boat who were very friendly and nice. Would recommend to others looking for this type of experience.

Our Sail Croatia trip was the perfect way for my husband and I to holiday with my parents for a week. Our Dubrovnik to Split trip on the beautiful Queen Jelena boat is a trip we will never forget. The staff were amazing, with special mention going to our wonderful host Mia. Mia had 37 passengers to look after, yet made us all feel special and well looked after. We were so lucky to have her as our host. The food was outstanding and the scenery wonderful. Loved our daily swims when our captain found a beautiful spot to anchor up for a few hours. The trip was terrific! The guests on board were great and the crew was fantastic. We had so much fun in all the ports except Vela Luca was a terrible port. The wine tasting was mediocre and expensive and the restaurant options and night life there were terrible. Also, the village meal in Korcula was terrible. The town of Korcula was fun with many great restaurants, including a Michelin star restaurant. I would have MUCH preferred to be on my own that night. Lastly, when pulling into Dubrovnik, it would have been nice if the boat passed by the old city before heading to the port.

My sister and I recently had the incomparable pleasure of sailing on the OLIMP with 26 other passengers ,,, I was taken by the brilliance of its design and then realized it reflected the knowledge of 5 generations of captains sailing the Adriatic ~ Captain Juri actually designed this ship as well as expertly held the helm. The food was also nothing short of exceptional ~ especially accommodating my inability to have butter used in any dish ~ The quality of the food and its presentation was the better than any fine dining I have enjoyed on terra firma The entire staff were impeccable in their professional manner of attending to our needs. The morning swimming stops where we anchored in quiet coves was another special highlight as the stern of the ship transformed into a lovely walk into the water platform. The fact that the mornings were spent sailing from island to island, with a swimming stop when possible and our afternoons were our time to explore a new island each day with the extra offering of knowledgable walking tour guides and then enjoying our evening meals in the small destination towns gave us enough time to get the feel and flavour of each separate island. And after seven days on the Adriatic it felt like I had been away for three weeks.

The combo of relaxing in the morning as the ship sailed and exploring a new island each afternoon and evening was just what I wanted. My sister and I spent a week sailing on Captain Jure’s Olimp in May 2024 and we had the time of our lives. To begin with, Croatia is stunningly beautiful and the azure waters never cease to amaze. Croatians were all so kind, friendly and fun loving everywhere we went, and this applied to every member of the Olimp’s crew as well. Everything shined throughout the ship, including our stateroom which was clean, comfortable and spacious enough and the bathroom boasted the biggest shower I have ever seen on a ship. I loved the fact our stateroom had multiple power outlets enabling us to charge our devices every day. Dining was always a five star event every day and the chef accommodated for my sister’s food sensitivity each and every meal. And the plated presentations? A work of art! Our Cruise Manager Vedran was largely responsible for the success of our week. Our small group of 12 very compatible friends, family and new acquaintances were joined by 10 other people who had signed up separately for Queen Jelena. This small size allowed everyone to easily socialize from meals, to impromptu card games, to dancing to relaxing in different deck areas. The boat is very efficiently designed with a nice amount of room in cabins. I also thought it was a beautiful boat. The crew is friendly. They served wonderful meals and kept the boat meticulously clean. Vicko, the Sail Croatia representative , provided lots of information on Croatia’s history and the history and points of interest for individual island stops. Frane and Teo provided wonderful food, Leo and Tom were delightful and efficient waiters. Gordon ,the captain, and sailors Mateo and Josie provided a good boat experience on the water and during swim stops. Thanks to all for a lovely experience.

A beautifully appointed small and elegant ship run by a delightful captain and crew. Tour Guide, Vedran, was always incredibly cheerful and smiling, and worked incredibly hard to keep us happy and things running smoothly, explaining everything beforehand. The accommodation is excellent, shower rooms even b The excursions were very good indeed I enjoyed our trip on Military History and our own guide here was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The wine trip was equally good. Our walking tour of Dubrovnik whetted our appetites and we are determined to return. I found the meals adequate. Some were very good indeed but others not so. The desserts excellent. I was sorry that the fresh fruit for breakfast was not very ripe . I think the bacon and sausages could have been placed on a rack so they were not swimming in fat,. The sliced cheese and cold meats were good, bread and croissants excellent. You have really good bread in Croatia!

The bar staff kept the glasses flowing in evenings and the crew was always helpful and provided the best care possible. It was a very nice relaxing (daily swim stops) cruise and the crew was wonderful. Very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Boris our Cruise Director also knew his guests well.. He arranged for several wine tastings and dinner gatherings on various islands instead of the tours and excursions that were scheduled since many of us were not signing up to participate in them. Spending evenings in the towns and tasting local food and wine was very enjoyable. One thing I would suggest a slight alteration on is cutting back on the portions of food for the daily lunch. There was way too much food being served, they could have cut the portions in half for each course and it still would have been enough for everyone. However it was all very delicious and I especially loved the desserts!! I would recommend Sail Croatia to family and friends for a nice cruise vacation to see the coastal islands of Croatia.

Wonderful way of exploring the Croatian islands. The boat was clean and comfortable, the AC was a must during our vacation time as it was in a mist of a heat wave. The entire equipage from the captain to the chef was great, and especially our tour director Ivana. Ivana you made everything better, you lift any worries that appeared , and you made everyone’s day, Thank you. The only suggestion I have to improve this beautiful sailing experience is to have a better coffee, the coffee on any place we stopped on the islands was real good coffee but the one on the boat. We had a wonderful time sailing and the swimming stops each day were magical. The islands were all beautiful and we were given lots of options as to how to spend our time at each island. Olimp was lovely and you could find a quiet spot or you could join in with others. We had amazing people travelling with us. The meals were all good but the acoustics were terrible and the dining room was extremely loud and you couldn't take your food out on the deck, the air con in the dining room was almost non existent. Drinks were expensive and being able to pay as you go would be a better option as would being able to use credit cards. I would still recommend Sail Croatia as all the staff on board were amazing and helpful. Communication with booking team was not so good.

I travelled with my husband, daughter, brother and sister in July 2023. I cannot recommend Sail Croatia highly enough. The sailing route contained many beautiful and interesting sites. I learnt so much about Croatia, its history and culture from our knowledgeable, personable and humorous guide Stjepan Jelacic. His maps of the islands, we were visiting, were comedic and factual genius. He really made the trip so enjoyable. The Captain Mate, and his crew Igor and Gino, masterfully steered the ships into the ports and swimming spots and ensured we were first in line at the Blue Cave. Bobby, Barbara and Ana provided excellent bar and dining service. We were pleased to be able to celebrate Bobby’s birthday during the trip. Chef Ante and Marija cooked up a storm - the food was delicious and plentiful. Marija was very thoughtful and kept our rooms clean and tidy. The trip exceeded our expectations and has provided us with very happy life long memories. Thanks everyone. 🇦🇺🦘

We could not have asked for a better combination of beautiful water, historic port towns, good food, relaxation and fun. This cruise was the perfect size for us because we got to chat with almost everyone on board, but there was also plenty of quiet space for sunning on the top deck. I especially appreciated the swim stops and the short walking tours in a new place each day, as well as the recommendations for dinners or adventures from the guide. When my mother-in-law told my husband and I that she wanted to celebrate her very special birthday with a small cruise to the Adriatic, I started searching, as I'd never been myself. I must have done at least 20 hours worth of work reading up on all of the different options, and we decided on Sail Croatia. This trip was spectacular. The guide, crew, and all of the support staff that answered my questions prior to the trip were fantastic in their friendliness and willingness to accommodate or point us in the right direction. Improve your product??? Surely you mean “offering”. The food offering was repetitive, unexciting, the puddings , (with one exception) were inedible, the use of fake cream from a can was particularly unpleasant. Some Croatian specialities would have been welcome on the menus. Also no other options were available apart from a vegetarian option. All in all, completely underwhelming. Sleep was difficult due to the cheap pillows. However the tour rep Stephan was excellent as was the restaurant/bar manager.

This trip exceeded all expectations. Starting with the planning, the specialist we worked with was professional and answered all of our questions, making us feel comfortable with the process. Upon arrival on the ship and throughout our journey, the staff on the boat were all extremely hard-working, and very friendly. Starting with Steve, who is very knowledgeable about Croatia, and made all of the historical facts funny and interesting. His tours were great and he answered everyone’s questions. He also did a great job of coordinating all the events. Bobby and Anna worked so hard every day during breakfast and lunch to make sure everyone had everything they needed and dietary restrictions were addressed. Igor and Barbara we are also very friendly and helpful. From making sure our rooms were stocked to having good conversations. The trip was well coordinated so I was very relaxed especially since the captain managed to avoid the bad weather!

Our ship Queen Jelena was a beautiful ship, comfortable, spotlessly clean, large bedroom with big ensuite, lovely dining room, sun decks with jacuzzi, opportunity to swim in the sea at some bays the ship moored at. The seas crystal clear. we stayed from 30th April to 8th May. Our week started a bit chilly, rain on the Tuesday and windy , but hot after that until 8th may when we had to come home. What a great week we had on the Esperanza Cruise Ship. Our host Loana couldn’t do enough for us and the crew also. This was my first visit to Croatia and cruising around seven of the islands with so much history and culture was amazing. We had swim stops. Walking tours in Split and Korcula included. The boat Esperanza was beautifully maintained. The staff were there for our every need. The Captain knew the waters well and went to great trouble not to be in rougher waters at meal times. The accommodation was large and clean with en suite facilities. The liaison lady explained the interesting points and generally kept us all in touch. A medical emergency was dealt with speedily and professionally.. It was a privilige to visit such a beautiful and gentle country

I feel so lucky to have spent a week aboard the Olimp, The fabulous yacht that took me in style to new places along the Adriatic Sea. There was plenty of room in our cabin, and it was nicely appointed and comfy. How delightful to start each day with a cup of coffee on deck cruising, seeing new beautiful sights of Croatia. And then enjoy a wonderful breakfast buffet. Swim stop was terrific each day, my goodness that water is unbelievable clear and beautiful. We took an Elegance cruise on the the maiden voyage of the Alfa Mario from Dubrovnik to Split. We are seasoned travelers and have been around the world, but this by far was one of our greatest vacations we have ever taken. The boat was beautiful and very spacious. There is no better way to enjoy and experience the Dalmation coast with it's spectacular scenery, food, wine and especially the Croatian people. What made the trip even more special was the crew of the Alfa Mario that made sure all our needs were always taken care of and made every person on the boat feel special. The food on the boat was beyond our expectations and every lunch was an unique dining experience in taste and presentation. This was a bucket list trip for me and fulfilled my every wish.

This holiday was total luxury. The Olimp is new and very well equipped as a floating hotel. We had a great time in the cruise from Dubrovnik to Split. Staff was excellent and everything was just about perfect. There were only a few minor exceptions and I understand that change is not always pointless. 1. Access to coffee and tea should be 24 hours a day free of charge (it’s the little things that make the difference). Some people do not sleep well and that coffee or tea on the deck at 5 or 6 is a big deal. 2. The towels were extremely tough, although they dried you well. 3. More hooks to hang damp towels or clothes in the cabin and possible a designated hook for towels on the top side that are out of sight but allow your beach towels to dry 4. As mentioned, we understand schedules are hard to change but it’s much nicer to do the excursions in the morning and swim and relax in the afternoon Thanks for the wonderful experience Lisa and Wayne Elliott

The experience of an “elegance” cruise onboard the Romantic Star was a dream come true for myself, my husband, my sister and brother-in-law. We were welcomed onboard by Vedran who was our guide for the week and who solved problems and performed miracles every day. He was able to reunite an American passenger with her lost airline baggage while we were in Korcula. From the beginning to the end we knew we were in safe hands and felt we were in paradise. The service, food and rooms were all 1st class, the crew were amazing and the facilities surpassed all our expectations. The cleanliness onboard really impressed and each and everyone of the crew were friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend this trip and would have loved it to be longer than 7 days, so next time we would be delighted if it could last for 10 days.

We won the lottery with our crew and guide. Vedran was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Tom the bartender was so professional and went above and beyond, working additional hours where required. And the captain took us to some of the most beautiful swim spots and spent lots of time with us as a group at the captain’s dinner. Without them, the cruise wouldn’t have been as enjoyable as it was.

My husband I were so happy with the beautiful boat the “Romantic Star”. It was definitely an elegance cruise with outstanding and comfortable cabins. The boat itself was new and elegant. Our guide, Vedran, was amazing. He was highly professional and would add humour (we laughed many times ) to his speeches. His knowledge of Croatia, the islands and towns was very informative. All of the crew were happy and smiling and very helpful. The food was very nice and the chef and his assistant worked very hard to please us. A fabulous experience like no other. Vedran Ovčar is definitely one of the best tour leaders I’ve ever met. He goes beyond the call of duty to ensure everyone is happy and everything is top class. The only thing that dampened our trip on the Esperanza was the weather. The vessel was comfortable and always kept clean. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very hard working. The food was excellent. Scheduled stops were interesting. Loved the winery tours and the farm to table meal. Krka Nat'l Park is a must see attraction. Tip: announcements to the group should be made using a microphone so they can be better heard in the back of the dining room.

This was a truly fantastic holiday. The best way to see a lot that Croatia has to offer in the best of style. Friendly staff, great food, and a general good time.

Ivo ivo ivo!! Well planned, very informative, loved our " history lessons" daily from Ivo. Food was excellent... maybe smaller portions...? would not like to waste such nice food! The captain was very present and very friendly and helpful. Crew ALL amazing... The boat in immaculate condition... We even met and chatted to the owner, Was our best holiday ever! Even our 'young' children of 26 and 36 loved it, The other travelers also was very nice... maybe we were lucky with that!

Excellent crew on board the ship along with amazing island stops made for an amazing cruise. This cruise was a great balance of relaxation and adventure. Our guide, Ivo, was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this cruise to anyone and everyone.
