The crew aboard the Salve di Mare looked after us from start to finish with great attentivness and humour. The boat was beautiful and spacious and I loved watching the skillful captain bringing us in and out of port. Wonderful food- (how do they do that in such a small kitchen)?! And of course, the spectaclar scenery of Croatia- crystal clear waters, majestic mountains and the idyllic port villages and towns. And finally a special mention for our hiking guide, Mate and our customer care and everything else, Sasha. Both were excellent at their job and looked after us very well and with great humour, which I loved. A wonderful experience and great memories made.

This trip far exceeded our expectations. We knew the scenery and history along the Croatian Coastline was impressive but add to this a beautiful boat, wonderful crew and Sail Croatia reps and delicious food - what more could you want? We loved that you could find your own evening meal on shore and that you could join in the hiking or relax on board with a book. No pressure. This was a trip of a lifetime. Many challenges and so much learning which is what makes an adventure so worthwhile. We were in awe of the natural beauty of the Croatian islands with their iridescent waters and picturesque hamlets. We really enjoyed the small ship atmosphere and being able to get to know your fellow passengers and make new friendships. The food was exceptional and it was nice not having every minute being planned for us. We were on the wine cruise and the winery experiences were fantastic. The tour leader (Lola) and the rest of the crew went out of their way to accommodate every request. I’d definitely recommend this company.

We travelled from Dubrovnik to Split on the beautiful Queen Jalena in May. Our tour coordinator, Lola, was incredible, generously sharing her knowledge of each port we docked at, daily menus, schedule updates, and helping with any and all queries along the way. The entire ship crew were absolutely fantastic — warm, professional, attentive, and always welcoming. The service throughout the trip was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere onboard was just so relaxed. Every stop along the coastline was stunning, the wineries we visited were passionate about their craft, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. In addition, we had the most incredible group of fellow travellers, all with their own interesting stories to share. Everyone looked out for each other, which made the journey even more special. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to explore the Croatian coast in comfort while enjoying outstanding hospitality.

I can't think of a better way to explore the islands of Croatia! We spent days cycling through the scenic countryside with super competent and fun guides, and evenings docked in pretty little port towns on our beautiful ship. The Croatian crew was fabulous, the food was great and everything was really well organized. The whole week felt adventurous and relaxing at the same time. I loved every minute of it!

16 friends enjoyed a 7 day cruise on the Romantic Star and it was wonderful. Our food was delish & prepared with such presentation by Sivilja & Laura.. Our Cruise manager - Anita- was very informative about every island, and made excellent recommendations and reservations. Captain Ivan was Great- we even got him On the dance floor!! My husband and I travelled with my parents and we had the best time! Dino, George, Linda, Allie and the rest of the crew were amazing and did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We could have not been happier with the trip! Since I didn’t get to fill out the iPad survey on the ship I have a few minor suggestions: My husband would have preferred breakfast that wasn’t the same every morning. The shower floor was very slippery so a mat in the bottom would have been nice. The dining room was very loud when we were all there so more softer surfaces to absorb the noise would help. The days were arranged so nicely and we felt taken care of very well. Thank you!!

Sailing from Dubrovnik to Split on the Wine Cruise aboard the Queen Jelena was my first cruise and first time to Croatia. Sail Croatia was a wonderful experience. The Tour Leader was warm, attentive, and proactive in ensuring the guests were informed and comfortable. I appreciated the "off the beaten path" experiences with winemakers and private tours. The crew were highly competent and the ship and accomodations were clean and tasteful. With the wine focus for the trip, the group of guests from around the globe bonded and developed friendships that will last beyond this vacation. I highly recommend. I was traveling as a single woman with friends (a married couple) and always felt welcome by the other guests and staff.

The entire experience, down to the smallest details, was extremely well coordinated and executed.The transfers from and to the airport went smoothly and the drivers made us feel comfortable and the one on the incoming transfer gave us great options for places to visit the day before we sailed. Anita was above and beyond helpful in all aspects of the cruise. She communicated any and all details very well and in a timely manner. She made sure to coordinate excursions and dinners in port that would meet our interests as well as making sure we knew where specific amenities we may need were located on shore. The chef and sous chef did an outstanding job with the meals. The beautiful presentation, fabulous flavor, and broad range of menus for each onboard meal was amazing for such a small kitchen.Lunch and the captains dinner felt like a fine dining experience. Ivan and the crew made us feel welcome and preformed their tasks smoothly.. Bravo to the team at Sail Croatia and Romantic Star!

Everything about the cruise is first class. The boat “Olimp” is beautiful and extremely comfortable The crew were absolutely marvellous. The tour director gave clear and concise information and made everything we did fun as well I celebrated my birthday whilst onboard and can say that it will go down as one the most memorable! The crew helped to make my day very special. Our hostesses! What can I say attentive, friendly, helpful professional and fun too. I would love to return and do it all again.

We were on a wine cruise which was most enjoyable . Lola was helpful and knowledgable and warm. The staff on the boat were warm and friendly. The boat was comfy and the food very good . The other travellers were good fun and we have made some lasting friends from all corners of the earth . Highly recommend !

Everything was so well planned. Our representative Marin was extremely helpful. I loved the way he explained what was to transpire every day and how he repeated the info on WhatsApp. The rest of the staff including Marco & Vlaho were also excellent. I am vegetarian so a big shout out to the kitchen staff who make delicious meals for me. Overall, as 2 women travelling together, I always felt safe & well taken care of. I would highly recommend.

The crew and tour guides were absolutely phenomenal. The tour guides kept us constantly informed, made necessary changes based on the weather and sight conditions and interacted with the guest. The chef was amazing, not a single bad meal...The captain and crew were wonderful and made an effort to engage with the guests. I would most defiantly recommend this trip.

As a travel professional for decades, I have been fortunate to experience many incredible trips. This one personally ranks near the very top of my list. Why? Because Croatia is simply a destination that is hard to fully describe — the history, the food culture, the beauty of the coastline, and most importantly, the warmth of the people. Our Catamaran was pristine, comfortable, and perfect for this style of travel. The Skipper and Hostess were absolutely wonderful — gracious, professional, and clearly trained in hospitality, always making sure we were taken care of while still allowing the trip to feel relaxed and effortless. What also made this experience so special was the sense of adventure. Traveling with a great group of friends, we often did not know exactly what each day would bring due to weather, ports, and changing options. But every stop, every adjustment, and every surprise turned into something memorable in its own right. This was not just a vacation-an experience!

My two siblings, their spouses and I wanted to do a siblings trip, and chose the Wines of Croatia tour, the first of the 2026 season. Anita was our cruise director, and she was what made this trip so fantastic! With only 18 passengers, it was a super fun group. Anita was so helpful and friendly, which also seems to describe most of the people we met in Croatia! She's great at planning and communicating, and a pleasure to be with. The wine events are terrific and so varied! And evenings where you may want to find a restaurant (sometimes the wine events include dinner), Anita sent us recommendations in the ports for meals and things worth seeing. Chef Silvija did a fine job, and we enjoyed "cookie time" at 11am. Glad we all opted for the Blue Lagoon (short visit, but worth the trip!). Dubrovnik was where we ended our trip - amazing place, but if I had a choice, I'd start my trip there as we had culture shock with the huge crowds. Rooms lovely, and bedding comfy. Great captain and crew!

The Hound Dog was the perfect boat for our group. Our Captain Andrija was very competent and delightful. We trusted in all his recommendations. Josipa was so helpful and prepared amazing food and snacks for us. Always ready with a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. Croatia is so beautiful! We had a lot of laughs and an amazing time. Sail Croatia Wine Cruise was wonderful! The crew and staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to make the trip a memorable event. The food was delicious, always expertly prepared and attractively presented. I was especially appreciative of the attention to detail for my food allergy. Anita was super great in planning our excursions and wine tastings. Each island stop was fun and unique for all to enjoy. Her enthusiasm was contagious! We had the best time on our Sail Croatia cruise, which exceeded our expectations in every way!! This was our first visit to Croatia and we loved every minute of it! We had regular bikes and found the rides challenging at times with the 'rolling hills' but so worth it for the views! Beautiful villages, coastline and crystal clear water! The tour guides, Tonka, Matilda and Elena were superb and the crew on board The Emanuel were very attentive and kind, especially Christina! Everything ran so smoothly, and for the first cruise of the season, the weather was fantastic! Made lots of new friends and had a good laugh with like-minded travellers from across the globe! Croatia definitely stole my heart!

Croatia is a beautiful country with some amazing towns with incredible medieval fortresses and buildings. Cruising among the Dalmatian islands in the Adriatic Sea on Sail Croatia's Almissa ship was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. The crew served delicious breakfasts and lunches. Caesar and Merico kept everyone well served and entertained. Dino, our tour guide, did a fantastic job and had great suggestions for places to go on our own. He was also a great source of information on the history and culture of Croatia. Our fellow travelers were great - a small cruise ship (28 people on our ship) is a great way to explore Croatia and meet so many great folks. Lots of fun!

From our cycling guides to the boat's crew to the food everything couldn't have been better. Our daily cycling had enough flexibility for those who wanted to go from point A to point B quickly could do so and those who wanted to stop and take photos could. The rides were broken up with coffee/rest stops such that there was a relaxed rather than hurry-up feeling I'd experienced on other cycling vacations. I wasn't sure how I felt about cycling in the morning rather than part morning, part afternoon with a lunch stop but I actually preferred it to other schedules. Breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold options and I never expected a 3 course lunch each day. The late April water was too cold for me to do more than a quick jump in and out but having the streets and small villages to ourselves was preferable to later in the season and having to avoid crowds. It was a wonderful experience.

Holiday of a lifetime on a cycling cruise on board the ship Princeza Diana doing the Split return South route. Stunning boat. Very large cabins , spotless en suite , cleaned daily. Fantastic cycling guides Ana and Srjan who looked after us and talked about the history of each island. Took in amazing views, great for photo opportunities. The daily swim stops were incredible , highlight of the trip for me. Beautiful crystal clear water. Swam off the boat. Excellent food and top class hospitality from the whole crew. Good value for money. I am booking again for next year to do a hiking cruise. This is a must do trip for anyone wanting to see Croatia !!!

It was a great trip. Food was great, scenery, bikes were comfortable. Weather was fantastic for 6 out of the 7days Confirm your checkout time before you make your travel plans after your cruise. We understood checkout was 10am, therefore booked our bus to Dubrovnik for 1230pm then were told checkout was 8am. Cost us extra money for late rescheduling of our bus times to an earlier time. Our only complaint though

This was such a great trip - each day was so well planned and the accommodations and food on the Emanuel were wonderful! Tonka, Matilda and Elena, our guides, were fun to ride with and had everything covered. We had lots of laughs with them and thoroughly enjoyed their company and their stories about each place we visited. The electric bikes made the tougher rides up the mountains to the spectacular viewpoints accessible to all and the rides through the towns fun. All the bikers on the trip got along so well and were a pleasure to travel with! Christina, the crew manager, was very attentive to everyone’s on-board dining and bar requests - she was truly delightful! The cabins were just the right size for 2 people and there were many different areas on the decks to hang out either with the other travelers or individually between ports. The meals were wonderful and had a good variety of foods. It was fun to sit with different folks at the 6 person dining tables and get to know everyone!

I had never done such an active trip. Communication pre travel was excellent as i did email several times before trip for specifics. . the Guides were fun and knowledgable, the bike (ebike) worked well and was comfortable . Agenda was active and things were on time. no “waiting “ around. Croatia is a beautiful country and the islands were fun to bike. especially diring the mid of April before major tourist season. The weather was beautiful—something no one can control.

This was my first European vacation and I couldn't have picked a more beautiful or enjoyable way to see Europe, especially Croatia. The trip was affordable, accommodations very comfortable, ship clean, food excellent. I enjoyed having a smaller ship. Staff was very accommodating. Marin and Anna did an excellent job organizing, communicating the day's events, continuing to text to keep us informed, and keeping us safe. I appreciated that the last day of the trip, our captain ensured we were not caught in the middle of the sea in the middle of a storm. Everyone ensured we could get our final rides in yet get into port in ample time prior to the storm. The first day was a bit confusing. Maybe a bit more time could have been spent explaining the ebikes and test riding more prior to going on the ride. Also, some of the ports had limited restaurants. Communication could have been a bit clearer that restaurants had limited seating. This was a most enjoyable trip. Thank you to the entire staff

This is my second Sail Croatia bike and sail. Again, it exceeded all my expectations! The staff and guides were excellent. Meals were exceptional! Loved the swim stops even though the water was a little cool in early June. Once you got in it was great.

Ivan out tour guide was phenomenal. He taught us something new everyday about the history and geography of Croatia. He always made things interesting and fun. The entire schedule of the Wines of Croatia Cruise was perfect, never too much and always an adventure. We were treated like royalty on the ship and the accomodations were just right. The Queen Jalena is a marvel of a ship. I hope to sail with Sail Croatia again in the next year or tow, NO ONE could be better!!
