Wonderful! Improvement must be considered for highly excessive noise level in dining room. Requires acoustical treatment. Disappointing that meals were not served on outside tables! Missing towel bars or hooks to dry swimwear in rooms. Consider reducing swimming frequency for additional dock time at additional locations such as Havar & Split. All staff were very helpful, considerate and friendly!! Beautiful Ship!!!

Mate & Antonia were fantastic guides, the hikes were great and we were blessed with fantastic weather and calm seas. The food onboard was mostly good. The cabin was tiny however had air conditioning and an ensuite. Swim stops most days were fun. Was lovely walking around the various ports too. Croatia is a beautiful country and most of the locals speak English too.

My husband and I loved the yacht and visiting the different locations along the coast. Every location was a little bit different, but all were beautiful. The common areas of the boat were never crowded and the daily swim stops were great. The cabin was spacious enough and remarkably quiet (lower deck). Our representative, Vicko, was so informative and humorous with his daily breifings of our itinerary, some history, and cultural tips. The wait staff/bartenders were so helpful and attentive. While generally, the food was good, I was a bit disappointed in their "accommodation" for our dietary needs. I told the booking agent before we booked about our dietary needs and she assured me it would be no problem. We verified this again shortly before the trip. We felt like our request was not fully conveyed to the chef and people supplying provisions on the boat, so it seemed like our alternative meals were kind of afterthoughts. The food did not measure up to the price of the trip.

This was a beautiful cruise with wonderful swim stops and interesting ports every day. The breakfasts and lunches were very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the boat was kept very clean. There is not a lot of storage in the cabin, given the underbed area is taken up with life jackets. But after a day we had our storage needs figured out. They supply only basic bath amenities so bring your own, including washcloths. The shower was very weak and marginally warm a couple of days, other days it was cool. There were don't enough lines or hooks to hang wet swimwear to dry. The boat is not metal so bringing magnetic hooks doesn't help. This is only one of the very few ways to get to these small island ports. It's well worth the minor foibles on the boat.

First experience of cycling by cruise was a learning experience but mostly positive. Rides & bikes excellent, group & information managed really well by our guides. Unfortunately there was an issue with our boat and appreciate a last minute switch by Sail Croatia to keep holiday moving meant few issues. Ship was smaller so a cabin change, dining space cramped, guides were tired & stressed as unable to stay on boat with us. Food was ok but no lighter choices like salad before an afternoon of cycling.

The holiday was lovely. I really liked the Esperanza boat, very warm and welcoming with friendly staff. The swim every morning was a highlight, the top deck for sunbathing and visiting the different islands each day. We meet a bunch of great people whom we got on really well with which added to the overall experience. The food was mainly good, but thought the tipping expectation was extreme.

It was very noisy and felt claustrophobic. It was disappointing we could not eat outside. Breakfast was okay, but there was limited choice and the food quality not good. Often the fruit ran out. Coffee not good either. Excursions were terrific with a wide choice. The gratuity advice was incredible. 600 euros per cabin ! Nearly everyone was astonished that we were expected to give that much.

Croatia is beautiful and this is a great way to see it. The Almissa was ok- we had the A/C stop working whenever the room temperature was too far away from the set point. So it would stop working in the middle of the night, which was very inconvenient. Dora was fantastic and always available. The rest of the crew was pretty good. I don't know why but I expected the captain to engage with us more. He was often out on his own. The food was good. But there was often so much of it, that it felt wasteful sometimes. Swim spots were very good. Overall, I would recommend this if you are social and like exploring. If you often like to be alone, you may not have much fun as you are stuck with the same 35 people for a whole week.

Cycling was great, sometimes a bit longer than expected, the cash bar and cash tips were unexpected, and many small places also only used cash so come prepared! 3 course lunch onboard was nice but we weren’t hungry enough for trying full dinners- loved the air con in the room, but could do with more storage in the bedroom. We had such a genuinely great time on this trip! Our skipper, Nenad, completely made the experience! He was the heart of the whole week. Our group was a blast, the swim stops were gorgeous, and we loved getting to explore each town along the way. The extra adventures (e-biking, scooters, wine tasting, beach clubs) were some of our favorite memories. The only things that kept this from being a full 5 stars for us: the boat felt smaller than we expected, and honestly 7 days ended up being a lot, the islands started to blend together by the end. That said, this felt more like a "know thyself" thing than anything Sail Croatia did wrong 😂 we're just not sure we're built for that many days on a small sailboat! Would still recommend it, especially if you've got a good skipper and crew like we did.

It was a lovely week. We enjoyed very much going to all the islands as they all have their own special charm. We found the food on the boat to be good but the lunch portions were way too big. We would have appreciated an explanation of the food as we had to keep asking what we were eating….The desserts everyday were the best part! Swim stops were the highlight! The Taste of Croatia tour itself needs lots of work. Olive oil tasting was in a cramped store(we were picturing a trip to an olive grove), oysters and Wine tasting was a miss as well.. There are wineries and oyster farms and Instead we went to a tourist restaurant where we got poured 3 wines and had a plate of oysters. We found a winery on our own on the island of Hvar which was amazing and would have been a welcome addition to this cruise. Foodies who book this expect more and so if we recommended this trip we would say skip the Taste of and just do the explorer or elegance cruises.

We recently boarded the Tempera Cruise from Split to Dubrovnik, and we had such a fantastic experience! Our sail team was incredibly helpful and made us feel so well looked after throughout the trip. Our host, Andro, was honestly the best. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the islands we visited, and we really appreciated his honesty and recommendations about which excursions were actually worth doing. The only thing we wish had been included on our trip was the rafting experience! The crew did a fantastic job of making sure we had plenty of time at the best swimming spots, and they even adjusted our ports to minimise travel time on days when they felt we needed more time to explore the islands. We also loved the people we met along the way. Our cruise had a great mix of younger and older couples, and everyone got along so well, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire Tempera Cruise team for an amazing trip and so many great memories!

We absolutely loved this trip on the Almissa. Perfect mix of cruising, swim stops and visits to beautiful islands. Staff were great, food was delicious and we had a great group of people onboard with us. Fun side trip options if you want them. Plenty of sunloungers upstairs for everyone. Only give it 4 stars as cabins are fairly basic but you don’t spend much time in there anyway - they were perfectly fine with plenty of room to store things. So good being able to unpack for a week and enjoy the cruise.

We have just completed cycling sail croatia week. A few recommendations for sail croatia to consider for upcoming trips, and for travellers who are considering this trip. If you are travelling as a couple you need to specify you want a double room. The food on the boat was very tasty however the orange juice in the morning could be greatly improved. They could also increase their variety of wines on board. Miranda our cycling leader was excellent and very supportive. Time spent in some of the villaages I felt was rushed, definitely wished we had a longer duration in Havar. If you enjoy an active holiday this is definitely one to consider as a way to see Croatia.

Overall it was wonderful. The full group of passengers were amazing and Croatia is stunning. Our hikes were beautiful. Our cabin was quite small and very damp. Our clothes and towels never felt dry. We were thankful that it was cool and quieter during the night when parked next to party boats, though it was a bit noisy when the engines started in the morning. We thought the food was quite good. In sum, great experience and would choose a bit nicer ship next time.

We loved seeing the Dalmation Islands, the beautiful walks and we enjoyed the public areas of the boat, Emanuel. However in the small cabin the bed was hard and lumpy. The addition of decent mattress toppers would be an easy fix and a big improvement. While I appreciate limited galley space, the food could be easily improved with forethought. For example for vegetarians a homemade lentil and spinach soup would be a simple and massive improvement on powdered mushroom soup. The salads were very basic; lettuce in a bowl and likewise could be upgraded with a few extras and with the addition of, for example, cooked potatoes chick peas with decent bread would have been a nicer main course than fried vege fritters from a packet. One day we had lunch of potato crocquettes with potato and vege fritters and chips, all from a packet, all fried! Breakfasts were good with nice vege choice. Bar a bit pricey. Tea and coffee all day should be included for the price of the holiday.

Wonderful, beautiful scenery ! Marin & Johnny were the perfect pair and excellent guides delivering 5/5 stars! Marin's historical knowledge was impressive; he was a mine of information and great local recommendations, he really took care of everyone! Johnny gave us the best restaurant recommendations or tips of where to go. Some of the bike rides took us up very steep hills and windy roads close to the cliff edges and while the views were beautiful I'm scared of heights, but luckily Johnny was there to support and kindly encourage me down, he was lovely! Kerim our bartender was very attentive & our food was good! Our ship was immaculate but it was older so while we had an upper cabin our bed was positioned up against the wall so I had crawl over the bed to get to my side. It wasn't the end of the world but we felt like we were camping :) which is why I am giving this review 4 stars! I'd highly recommend this trip, all the islands we visited were amazing and we loved Croatia!

I wouldn’t ever sail on the standard of boat used on this trip because the cabins were pretty much all of a low standard in one way or another. Additionally noise at night was a significant issue, due to tie ups in harbour. Sleep quality on the boat was poor and the cabin air conditioning caused throat problems. The tipping expectations for staff on this boat of about 20% of the cost of the trip were ridiculous. No one tipped that much, Other people on the boat great fun. Ilona was a very good hike leader. Food on board ok to good, but why no menu for the week or choices? Would go to Croatia again but on a land based tour. The hikes were worth doing. None of our friends would tolerate the standard of boat so wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

A system to log guests on and off securely so no-one can get left behind. 3. Give all info before getting off to start riding to save confusion. 4. We enjoyed the bike rides, the sceneries were beautiful. The e-bikes worked very well. The group was a bit too large, a bit squeezed on the boat. The meals were excellent but we would have liked at time more buffet or picnic type of meal. We enjoyed a lot swimming from the boat, the Adriatic sea is so beautiful . Our guides, Marin and Martin, were excellent. They cared a lot for the security and were extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant peuple, I recommend them to all the groups.

We were not allowed to open the portholes overnight whilst docked. Double bed was way too high to get in and out of comfortably.

The room we were given was right next to the engine which awoke us each morning and also smelt of exhaust.The captain was very nice but his staff seemed uninterested in their jobs and did a lot of sitting around (while the ship needed) cleaning.) Try to get pics of room prior to booking-I think we had the worst room on the boat. Room 2 on Tempera has a large intrusion in the room from the next door curved staircase requiring you to hunch over on far side of bed when getting in or out. That closet opens up ONTO the bed and is almost unuseable. The tiny curved table in the room slants down so things slide off of it. The bed was comfortable and the room size decent. The breakfast was good- sausage, eggs, fruit, pastries…. but I (and many other judging by appearances) found the lunches inedible. greasy rice stuffed pepper served with cold mashed potatoes, a bowl of buttered noidles served with a small thin slice of overcooked meat served with more noodles, Very carb heavy and mostly served warm not hot. Soups and desserts were good.

We had a lovely time on our Sail Croatia Bike Cruise. I will recommend but with these suggestions. The food on our ship was not great. Edible but poorer quality than I expected. The crew tended to be quite surly and mostly smoked or were on their phones. Our guides were phenomenal and did a fantastic job. They really made the trip. The bikes (we all had e-bikes) were very good quality and easy to use. The scenery was fantastic and luckily we had a large (33 passengers) group but everyone was great and got along well. I would strongly suggest upgrading to premier plus or looking at a higher quality company if good food and a nice ship are important to you.

Our holiday was very relaxing. Dino was 5 stars and so were the rest of the crew. Great way to see the islands. The only reason we rated 4stars instead of 5 is because we would have preferred not to be served a full 3 course meal at lunch. A buffet would have been better. I filled the quick review onboard but understood there would be a more thorough evaluation of our trip. The biggest concern I had was the food. It was not up to standard. You should hire qualified trained chefs. Thousand island salad dressing was over poured on all salads. White bread for the most part. Not alot of citrus fruit. Overcooked tuna at captains dinner and appetizer unappealing. The captain wore a sweatshirt at the captains dinner. You couldn’t order a glass of wine you needed to buy a bottle. .

I expected better quality, especially the non E-bikes. The boat was fine. I did not need anything fancier. More than adequate The food was good but often overcooked. (The captain was a great pilot, he has no business interfering in the kitchen) Portions too big; buffet style may be better. I appreciated breakfast as I could serve myself and the variety was perfect. The portions at lunch were way too big. I dont like wasting food. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. We did the Explorer cruise which was a lot of fun! Dino & crew were great. providing the group with recommendations for things to do, eat & drink each day. There is the chance for relaxation, swimming, paddle boarding etc & you could book to do excursions or go explore for yourself. The food was delicious, but they do forget about dietary requirements. I spoke to the company before arrival about dairy intolerance, again on check in & during service but gave up in the end. Fortunately it isn’t an allergy I suffer with. Excursions were hit & miss. Some were overpriced and discouraged to do which seems odd to advertise them. The evening dinner & local tour was fab but rushed, a little longer was needed during the meal & drinks to relax. We missed out on the bike tour in Mljet National Park due to winds eventhough other Sail Croatia tours were going there, it seemed there was a rush to get to Dubrovnik?? So be aware the itinerary can change but beautiful swim stops as an alternative.

I would have discounted our room as we were directly over the engine which was ear splitting.y loud, had home made cookies available all day, served better quality salads, had more beach towels for guests, more water toys, I.e., paddle boards nd kayaks and laundry services available. We really enjoyed our week on the Almissa, all of the crew were very friendly and professional at all times. The breakfast selections were excellent and most lunches delicious and big servings. The boat was kept very clean at all times. Only negative for us was that we would have like clean towels supplied more frequently as they were only changed once. Also a bath mat supplied for the slippery floor in the bathroom. We would recommend the Almissa & Sail Croatia & would love to book again in the future... Kind Regards to the team!

The week was amazing cruising through the islands, stopping to swim each day and exploring the cute towns. The crew was really friendly/fun (our host was Dino) and the rooms were far more spacious than we expected. One thing to note was that the excursions weren’t included in the booking cost so we ended up spending quite a lot more on doing the activities (30-60 euro pp on each activity). They provided heeeaaaps of food for breakfast and lunch and catered to my dietary requirements (gluten free as I am coeliac) but unfortunately the desserts were pretty sad compared to everyone else’s - usually packet custard/mousse with fruit or just fruit alone :(

Great diversity of cycle routes and port stops. Guides were great! Boat crew also great. Meals lovely but would have preferred dinners rather than lunch as I wanted a swim, shower and nap after my cycle rather than having to sit for two hours in a stuffy fining room in the middle of the day. I enjoyed the week, our leader Vin was very good. I thought there were a lot of hidden costs not very transparent when booking the trip, we had way more inclusions with our last tour we attended with a different company and felt we got more moneys worth with them. Also disappointing that we missed out on two stops due to weather which is understandable however when other sail Croatia ships still go despite what we are being told it does raise some questions. The last day in particular we docked into Dubrovnik port a day early due to weather conditions and then missed out on our swim stop the next day as port authorities wouldn’t let our boat leave? We then found out other sail Croatia boats left for there swim stop which didn’t make much sense, the crew weren’t very transparent with us on the why. The whole last day of our trip was spent docked up, we were told we could go to the beach but then we had to pay 20€ for an uber to get there, frustrating when you pay money to be on a boat.

The weather was very good, the boat was very clean, the Captain & crew were hard-working, friendly, helpful and professional. And our fellow passengers were great. The variety of tours on offer was good. We would have liked one night at anchor in a sheltered bay. And we would have preferred longer breakfast time from, say, 8am to 10am. The bed in our cabin wasn’t very comfortable, too hard a mattress for us. However all-in-all we had a great trip and we would recommend it to others.

We had an amazing experience overall and truly enjoyed every moment of the trip! One of the standout highlights was our guide, Nour. She was absolutely fantastic—extremely well-organised, kind, professional, and always went the extra mile to make sure everyone felt comfortable and informed. Her knowledge and calm, friendly presence really made a difference, and we felt very well taken care of throughout. The excursions were varied and really well thought out, offering a great mix of activities to suit everyone. The rooms were also excellent—clean, comfortable, and a lovely place to unwind at the end of the day. If we had to mention anything for improvement, it would be the price of the drinks on board, which felt a bit high, and we would have loved more opportunities for swim stops, as those moments in the water were some of the most enjoyable. That said, it was a fantastic trip overall and Nour’s guidance truly elevated the whole experience. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

This trip aboard the Mali Luka was amazing. We are big time cruisers and usually sail with big ships like Princess. We've done one Viking cruise but this one was so amazing. There were only 28 total passengers and we all got along great; it's like they hand picked people that all had the same outlook and personality. The rides each day were to the most beautiful areas I've ever been to. The e bikes made even the steep uphill climbs easy. We were given options on some of the days to stop or to continue our rides (some even choose to not go on some at all). Our ride crew Miranda and Matilda were so great; always looking out for us and keeping us safe with perfect pacing. Sitting on the top deck while we cruised along was my favorite part. We choose the bottom deck cabin which was super small and tight. No complaints by anyone on any level about noise from other ships. The crew worked very hard (not super friendly but friendly enough). Captains dinner was nice; very nice guy.

Romantic Star Cruise (June 21-29, 2025) Pros: -Ship was new and clean. -Swim stops were perfect. Cons: -Staff, except guide, looked unhappy (no smile). -Cleaning day didn't do a good job cleaning. Towel were not changed in the 7 days' stay. -Food was OK, not interesting. -Coffee and juices were charged if consumed outside the 1 hour for a meal time - outrageously cheap!! -Captain's dinner (lame) and dinner in town were had in Hvar, so we didn't get to eat out in beautiful Hvar. They should have been held in Dubrovnic (where we stayed 2 nights) and Planikovak (which didn't have good restaurants).

The boat was comfortable, the food beautifully prepared the shore stops were very interesting and we had a very organised cruise director. We were lucky to only have a small group of 18 on a boat that caters for 36.. The spoilers were the boat crew did their job efficiently but nothing more. There was never a smile or any other pleasantries. Only Dragon ever engaged with anyone. It often felt awkward. It was the first time we have encountered this on our many cruises. Also, it was pretty savings to only have coffee available from 7.30am and only instant coffee available for free at morning tea. If we wanted an express it cost €5 which is exploitation when on sure we had many coffees for less than half that price.

This cruise was so fun. The group of people on board were incredible and many became friends by the end of the trip. Dino, who was the guide was incredible, very funny, helpful, and gave some great recommendations/suggestions for things. I loved how it was set out - breakfast, then swim stop in the morning, lunch and then exploring the town in the afternoon. The only downside to that is that in the summer months it’s quite hot exploring town in the afternoon and since the boat leaves early next morning you may feel rushed. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because while they were as accomodating to dietary needs as possible, the food was below average for me being a vegetarian. Meals were undercooked and not well balanced. The non vegetarians said their food was great. Overall, I would recommend this boat if you want relaxation, exploration and a great time.

I enjoyed the swim stops. My room was nice, although the last full day the tanks definitely needed to be changed, as I had a room below. It would have been nice to have the names on the back of the bikes. Most people came in groups, We did not come in a group, so, we had to keep asking people their names. The Josic was very professional. I was not sure what Calam's responsibilities. The bar was very expensive for the extremely short wine pour. It was discussed by most passengers on the boat. Lunch was heavy. Maybe better to have dinner? This would allow people to relax a bit after the ride. The last two rides were short. Often I was not quite sure where we were going to stop. It did not follow the brochure. Captain said we needed to stop in different places.

Whilst I enjoyed the Sail Croatia cruise, it was disappointing in a lot of ways and I definitely wouldn't do it again. The crew and boat/activities manager were fantastic. They were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Ivana who was amazing! The food served on board was average for I would have expected for what we paid. The boat lacked atmosphere in the sense that they dont play music, which in Croatia I read that music is a big part of their culture so I expected to have the ambience of soft Croatian music playing whilst on the boat, towards the end they started to play some after getting the hint. I am disappointed that Hvar is listed on the website that it has an "incredible nightlife". The island has since changed but should not continue to be faulsely advertised by SailCroatia. I also find it offensive to be expected to give tips after dropping $6,000 aud on a cruise, Sail Croatia you should pay your excellent staff a proper wage and not expect tourist's to do it for you.

Best way to see and experience Croatia with The Sail Croatia team.From the informative online booking till the actual trip. Tempera was our boat chose with amazing helpfull staff on board. The rooms are very well planned and the bathrooms excellent taking into account the size of the actual boat. The itinerary was fantastic ! Saw so much of the smaller and bigger islands . Our tour guide Ivana Mateja was an absolute gem. She presented everyday a full powerpoint presentation of the daily schedule as well as being very informative about every stop we had. Nothing was too much trouble for her . The food on board exceeded our expectations everyday . Only negative would be the price of drinks . I would recommend this trip and team to anybody considering visiting Croatia

Biking the beautiful islands. The landscapes and friendly passengers and crew. Mila and Mario couldn’t do enough for us. They were completely committed to our safety and enjoyment. Salve di mare is a beautiful ship with an amazing and professional crew. They looked after us with attention and care. The food on board was delicious, a big thank you for the chef and his team! Our hiking guide Matte was very knowledgeable and provided full description not only about the hikes but also about the villages visited. Ioana, leading the guests was very approachable and friendly.. Despite the extra charge for the upper cabin booked, we found out that it was on top of the engine making it very noisy and other cabins at a cheaper rate, were way more spacious than ours. Tea and coffee was free of charge only until 1pm, which we did not understand the reason, as it was an average coffee maker, not a barista style at all for the extra charge. We definitely recommend our hiking tour and we will be happy to come back and choose Sail Croatia again!

It was evident from the start the crew member had no experience and very little English. He didn't even know what vodka was. Apparently the fridge was down so we couldn't get ice or cold white wine. Beer was ok. He did not bring drinks during the meals and did not know how to clear dishes. Food was good but cold. Cabin was good but our toilet in ran the entire week although we had asked crew to fix it 4 times. We turned off the water to the tank between uses. We would have preferred to travel to our locations in the evening instead of waking up to engines starting at 5:30:or 6:00 am every day!

We enjoyed having a relatively small group of fellow travellers being 36 in total from Australia, Canada, South Africa, UK and USA. Our cabin was comfortable although the quality in pillows and towels was poor. The chef and catering staff did a magnificent job with meal preparation it’s was always delicious The dining saloon however was very noisy during meal times and made conversation difficult The islands/towns visited all had something different to enjoy and we soon chose our favourites. The staff were all friendly and courteous and the boat comfortable and in good condition .We were disappointed that smoking was allowed in the inside deck area which was enclosed with plastic coverings. and attached to the dining saloon. This was especially unpleasant and meant many of us could not utilise this area. This issue was reported to the staff however we felt the resolution unsatisfactory. Regardless of these issues we did enjoy the experience and had a lot of laughs.

Beautiful scenery and lovely people. Ebiking was great and bikes were well maintained and worked well. H was very good at keeping us safe and organized. I think some instructions could have been useful on how to use them though. I have 2 e-bikes at home and they are all different. The only thing that would have made the trip better was to have a ‘get to know you’ event on the first night for guests. Also a few optional organized activities on the afternoons and evenings when we were in ports where islands had little to do. For the cabins a few hooks on the walls and bathroom would have been useful.

Overall, a very good experience. We both enjoyed our week on the Olimp, it is a beautiful ship. Our rep was amazing, he worked hard to ensure we had a good week. The food , especially lunch, was beyond exceptional. Breakfast wasn't bad but I expected some good fresh fruit options instead of canned peaches and unripe pineapple every morning. Included in the cruise price we had two really excellent wine tastings and two that were average. Having said that, we would still recommend cruising with Sail Croatia. The 10 day cruise was good . Cons: I did find it quite repetitive. For me personally, I have learned a 3-5 day (maximum) sail would suit me it was the same pattern every day & I found some days we got into port too late to explore more. It seemed the emphasis was on the swim stops., another Con was the food . Breakfast was fine . There were no options for lunch . It was a 3 course meal served at 1 pm which made for very late suppers on shore . I wish they would have had 2 options ie chicken or pasta . I don’t eat pasta so was starving 2 of the days . Pros: the staff are fantastic . Considering they work 7 days a week & then repeat with the next tour they were very helpful , upbeat & enjoyable . The tour coordinator Klara was terrific , positive , informed & very helpful . The boat was in excellent condition and clean . I felt very safe on it . The life jackets & muster areas were reviewed however I was never sure if there was an AED on board , which would be Important .

The cycle experience was amazing. Great bikes, easy to use, even for late 60 year olds relatively new to ebikes. Each day was another 'wow' experience. Josko and Ana great tour guides who each day explained what could expect the following day and also during the cycle. The itinerary was excellent as was the cycling with great scenic routes that allowed us to see parts of the country we would not otherwise have done. The weather and amazing group of people were the icing on the cake. What was less good was the interstaff bickering which at times bordered on unprofessional and was making some guests feel a little uncomfortable Finally it should be stressed to guests to absolutely not jump from the top deck which is slippy and one guest really badly bruised herself in slipping off

Our cruise was very relaxing with the right balance of activities and interaction with other guests. We really loved the swim stops each day and the meals were of premium quality and presentation. Once on board the very comfortable boat, we were well looked after by delightful guides, good chefs, bar staff and boat crew. Good quality e-bikes, excellent guiding around five beautiful Croatian islands, the crew having to adjust the itinerary due to the weather conditions. The other passengers were similar ages to us, loved cycling and the exploring of new places so there were plenty of common interests.

This was a spectacular sailing experience. Our captain sailed the boat to wonderful swim spots and our cruise director Klara was charming, fun, and very energetic with interesting information of each Croatian Island we visited. The bar and food servers did a prompt, friendly, and outstanding job! And the cooks(Chefs)presented beautiful and delicious dishes! This experience was amazing. The only thing I would recommend is that we get an earlier email on what to bring and that it was a CASH only for your drinks and tips at the end of trip. A lot of people travel ahead of the sailing trip and don’t check on their emails. That info would have been better to know if it had been received at least 4 weeks before actual cruise date.

The whole schedule felt very rushed. Once we reached each island we invariably had very little time to enjoy the destination of our cycle ride - which at times was quite arduous especially for those without e-bikes - before returning to the boat for lunch. The food provided was generally poor with limited fruit available at breakfast and no means of keeping the hot food hot for anyone who didn’t arrive at breakfast promptly at the start. The three course meal served at lunchtime with a hot main seemed totally inappropriate when a more relaxed cold buffet would have been preferred by most on board. Sometimes we were given no time to explore particular port as we had to cycle to the other side of the island to meet the boat in time for lunch and there were no impromptu swim stops off the boat as shown in your videos. On the whole I did really enjoy the week - the crew and guides were excellent although a little more flexibility from the captain would have been appreciated.

Breakfast hours to be extended with better coffee, too weak! Shouldn’t have to purchase at ar to get good coffee. Overall the food needs improvement, meat was overcooked & repetitive. Also need to provide water in the cabins to be readily available especially through the night. Cabins could use updating, get rid of carpeting. Also replace lumpy pillows & improve mattress. Also provide snacks outside of meal hours or to purchase at bar. Lastly Captain’s dinner is nice idea but the entertainment overtook everything & too long, people couldn’t socialize as a result of being too loud. Our cruise Director & staff were good to us

The trip exceeded my expectations in some respects - we had the most wonderful crew who went out of their way to navigate around bad weather to ensure we could continue to cycle. They went beyond their call of duty. The aspects I believe could have been better in particular, is the food. The offering is tremendous in quantity but lacks sophistication and creativity. I was looking forward to having a Mediterranean experience but if fell short. Why serve mostly apples and bananas when figs and grapes were in season and readily available. The coffee machine was not working, and no cappuccinos was on offer but rather just brewed coffee. I trust that effort in this area could go a long way to improve the overall experience. All in all, it was an enjoyable trip in a wonderful country with exquisite crew members.

The Guides were great. friendly, helpful, knowledgable. The islands were stunning. However, the boat was only standard. The food was quite basic. The cabin was very cramped, the bathroom smelled bad and the bed sheets were a problem. Two single sheets on a double bed! We were in a tangle all night. A double sheet or duvet would have been much better.

My partner and I had a great week on Sail Croatia thanks to Lauren, Mateo and the other crew members. The weather was average but Lauren went above and beyond to maintain morale and organise alternative activities. The crew were very easy-going and friendly and we enjoyed learning about Croatia from them. Our only suggestion is to Sail Croatia directly - we think the itinerary could be improved. The Sail Croatia website states the white water rafting is available on the Split to Dubrovnik tour (which was not the case). We also would have appreciated more time exploring the towns as opposed to spending hours at swim spots.

The so called premier ship was nothing like, much smaller than expected, the cabins were small and several needed attention. However the Captain and crew were very good at their job with boat and passenger safety spot on. They were all very friendly and helpful, with the male crew having to man handle over 30 bikes on and off the boat at every port, well done them. The cycle tours were rather disappointing as there were over 30 cyclist of varying ability, the front runners would be way ahead leaving the slower ones way behind. Not enough stops to enjoy the wonderful scenery and a chance for photos, ☹️ 25.00€, in cash, per person to enter the Mljet National Park, bit steep to cycle around the lakes, no stops to enjoy! Cycle guides would stop and give a little talk about the history of which ever island we were on. The food on the boat was OK but far too much at lunch time, so lots of waste, shame. The weather was not the best but that is not a fault! ⛈️ It was an experience for sure!

Great staff. Made friends with other passengers. Meals on board were great. Beautiful scenery. The boat was expertly steered through storms. Not so good - tour of Vis, Verdan sold it to us as a scenic tour. I didn't expect most of it to be going through military bunkers. I wanted to see the island, not the inside of some old military thing. Dinner at Korcula was not good or tour of Korcula - that woman was painful in her terrible attempts to be humorous.

Overall we had a great experience and highly recommend! A few suggestions/tips: - We realize that it’s challenging to prepare food on a boat and to meet different preferences. We would suggest having at least some lunch buffets, where people could choose (e.g., salads, sandwiches) instead of 3-course meals. A buffet would be quicker and enable people to sit on the desk rather than the often very hot and stuffy dining room. - The food was often very heavy (fried meats, limited vegetables/salads). If guests were warned about this, they could request vegetarian or other accommodations. - We were not allowed to bring food on board so snacks should be available (free or not). There was fruit but nothing else and often we were unable to leave the boat. We were often quite hungry after the ride but had to wait to eat. - It would be helpful if the trip leader provided information about the towns further in advance than the afternoon that we arrived so there would be enough time to plan.

Booking system, we booked 6 mths in advanced, requested an above cabin but was told none available, several passengers got above cabin and only booked weeks in advance. Also check the actual names on the booking, we were husband and wife, they thought 2 females so got single beds! Food - very basic, military/camp style. Lots of hearty foods for colder weather, minimal salads or fresh foods, it was summer! It doesn't take much to be creative and add some flare to the meals - fresh herbs, chopped fresh fruit not tinned fruit salad!!!!! Cocktails - needs attention to detail - use proper cocktail glasses, get the fruit and decorations, make it an experience we want to repeat. We had a wonderful week on the Katarina from Dubrovnik to Split. The crew were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, the boat was immaculate and Visko our tour manager was very approachable and helpful. Our only negative would be the inability to pay using card for some of the excursions and in particular the bar tab. It would have been nice to know in advance. Overall I was quite satisfied with our boat, including our cabin. The crew members were friendly and helpful as were the leaders of the cycling trips. who did an amazing job, both on land and on sea. Areas where I would like to see improvement include having a Keurg in the dining area where it would be possible to get a cup of coffee earlier than a half hour before breakfast. Provide the cooked breakfast food hot. Lighter entrees with local seasonings would improve lunch entrees. A glass of wine served with the Captain's Dinner would be appropriate. Name tags for all should be provided and worn at least early in the trip. Include the day, Monday, Tuesday, etc., along with the name of the Island and towns where there will be stops. I hope my suggestions are helpful.

Love the exploration of islands and cycling off a boat . The crew and tour guides Marija and Mila were wonderful as was Andre, the server. They need a battery microphone so guests can hear as the engine was constantly running and it was so difficult to hear. Suggestion : 3 dinner meals and 3 lunch meals , alternate so we would not always be dependent on getting back for lunch instead eat at swim areas on beach without the rush and very early morning breakfasts . Suggest lighter lunches , salads fruit fish …and fresh bread in the mornings with Greek yogurt . Food was very good but too filling . Less food, higher standard . Soups in the heat ? Big salads more appreciated . Suggest eggs be cooked while people sit instead of cold overcooked eggs Also a better way to connect with guests we need name tags… very awkward trying to remember people’s names .

The cruise is well planned with suitable amount of sight, cycling and sailing. It was of course a pity that due to the weather conditions we couldn’t go to all planned destinations, but all in all the islands and the coastline are incredibly beautiful and we can’t be sorry about the changes made. Food is very good and there is plenty of it! Fresh drinking water is served all the time and the drinks were reasonably priced as well. The cabins are small, but adequate for a week. The best part was the people we traveled with <3. We had the great time and experience and could recommend this to anyone willing to cycle and see more quiet places of Adriatic islands.

We enjoyed our cycle-sail experience on Colombo, it was an interesting cruise with relatively easy cycling on e-bikes. Nothing too arduous but a feeling of tiredness at the end of most days. The crew worked hard and the captain keeps a tidy, organised ship. We loved the guide’s knowledge - Marin and Mila had so much Croatian history to share, it was awesome. Tips for improvement: many of the crew smoked which wasn’t an issue until early mornings when the cigarette smoke wafted into our cabin and woke us up (sometimes as early as 5:30am)! The cabins could do with some maintenance on Colombo - leaking showers, freezing cold AC that blow’s directly on the beds.

The main feature of enjoying a venture like this one is the efficiency of the staff. They were first rate. From the crew, kitchen and food prep. ladies, waiters and guides they always went above and beyond. Four stars instead of five is due to some maintenance around the boat. My understanding is that the issues are dealt with in the off season. (bathrooms-floors were always wet. Portholes could not be opened.). It wasn't a game changer. We would go back.

Fabulous guides and crew, the itinerary was so diverse with plenty of stops for drinks, swims, and sightseeing of course. The food was sensational and way above expectations. I didn’t give 5 stars as the rooms could do with a bit of a smarten up. The bedding was a bit musty and need new mattresses. A bit of a negative in the last night was payments had to be made between 6 and 8pm. Many of us had planned to go out for a farewell dinner together but with the distance to old town from the boat meant this was not possible. We came back early to pay. We should have been able to fix up bill while we were all on the boat before docking.

We, as well as other guests, did NOT likethe food at all. Breakfast was good but the lunches were horrible. No fresh vegetables, all vegetables were frozen and mushy. Purées of I’m not sure what we’re always cold. Lasagna was good. A woman who only eats fish got what looked like frozen fish fingers. Basically the food was awful at lunch. The captains dinner was interrupted by Kara allowing the TV in for the rugby game Which followed by yelling and screaming. My husband had words with Klara. We left the dining room. It was ridiculous……chairs turned around toward the tv and we weren’t finished the main course. The partying that followed went on with very loud music and singing until after 1am. I think there were some complaints from other boats. The crew were always smoking at the window of the bar. The swim stops were amazing as were the islands and klara was a very good organizer. Would not recommend at this time.

Unfortunately night one we were stuck in the port due to bad weather. Everyone was left to fend for themselves with little information other than the boat should depart the following morning. Upon returning from dinner several people were still sitting on the boat with no room allocation. There was little to no communication as to when we could take our bags to our allocated rooms. The Sail Croatia representitive disappeared for several hours and it did not start off well. The entire crew energy felt tired and like they just wanted to be somewhere else. Positives from the trip - The food was excellent up until the last day. Things that can be improved to make everyones time better utilised - Each day our Sail Croatia Representitive would give a detailed speach about the port/town we were arriving into and the local things on offer. This was also provided in a WhatsApp message. Google Map links would be beneficial along with pre-booking activies like bikes/scooters. Most tours close 3pm

The locations visited were beautiful and fascinating. Our guides (Marija and Mila) provided an excellent experience given the challenges of ability/illness across our group. I particularly valued their passion for Croatia and what is has to offer and their insights into their history. Cabins were clean and very comfortable and general boat amenities were excellent. The ebikes could be improved - they worked well for some, I found them cumbersome and the geometry made them uncomfortable but they got us where we needed to go. Beautiful coves where anchor was dropped to allow us to swim off the swimming deck in crystal clear sea. Towns and villages were fantastic, each had a unique charm and some had summer music concerts to entertain. Hikes were enjoyable if challenging in the humidity. Whilst short in distance they all involved walking up steep and rugged terrain, do pack hiking poles! Mate was our experienced and very knowledgeable guide, we had complete trust in him. Decks were kept clean and tidy, there was always space to sunbathe. Meals onboard were tasty and well presented, a captain’s dinner was provided free one evening. Not rated 5 stars as our ship EOS (21 cabins) was tired and a little “crusty” in places, we were expecting a higher standard and more spacious accommodation. A good mix of English speaking passengers onboard, all respectful to each other and we made new friends for life.

Our guides Nina and Marin were so organised and good at organising us. We were well informed of the next day's planned activities and free time outside of the bike ride. We loved the bikes and the rides. Our only suggestion is that all E bikes ride together or all hybrid bikes ride together but there is a lot of time wasted waiting for the hybrid bikes unfortunately. We had 28 E bike riders and 4 hybrid riders. The boat, the people, the experience will stay with us for a lifetime. Thanks

Did the explorer trip from Split to Dubrovnik on Salve Di Mare. Beautiful ship and fabulous crew. Booked a below deck cabin which was very spacious and comfortable and air con worked well, but cabin could do with some hooks or rails to hang wet/damp items plus a hob to stop shower water going over bathroom floor. Breakfast and lunch served daily and coffee/tea available all day. Bath/shower towels provided plus swim towels (not enough for all). Swim stops beautiful. Very much a broad age group on board - we all mixed well and had a fabulous time. Small ship cruising is definitely the way to go around Croatia!

My second year in a row with sail Croatia bike tour. I would have given them a 5/5 if the food was better. After being on the Mali Alta last year and having amazing food. Food on Colombo was mediocre. Fried fish to Dry to eat. Fried pork to dry to eat. Weird starters every day at lunch. Food should be consistent across all boats offering same experience. Tour guides were amazing. Crew on boat super nice. Wish they would do more miles each day and offer a self guided tour. Will definitely do again.

This is a rather presumptuous title. There were many good things about the cruise but some improvements could be made. The scenery was wonderful and historic towns very interesting; food on the boat was very good; food onshore was overpriced and variable quality. Service on boat was very good. There could have been more attention to safety during swim stops eg ensuring safety rope was always in the water and life belt available at all times.. Additional to information given by tour manager, Boris. It would also be good to know about cultural events taking place onshore eg concerts, traditional events. We happened by chance to see the changing of the guard in Dubrovnik and discovered quite a few music events by chance. A disappointing welcome reception for one non-alcohol drinker who was given water in a plastic cup while everyone else was sipping Prosecco from a glass flute. I should have been offered juice, tonic, sparkling water etc not just some water in a plastic cup!

We had to cancel our initial 2020 booking due to Covid so we were lucky to get one of the last cabins on Olimp ( elegance cruise) It certainly was a wonderful way to see some of the Croatian islands in style. The regular swimming stops were a highlight as well as the amazing crew on board ! Vedran our tour manager kept us well informed and was always on hand for any support needed. Croatia as a country was amazing and beautiful. However, the sail was disappointing. Our representative was not very engaging and for the price you pay, you don’t get a lot for it. Considering you pay prior, the drinks at the bar are expensive and ‘happy hour’ is only 10% off which isn’t worth it. They offered limited water and if you wanted a bottle of water you had to pay. Even when unwell, there is no bottled water that is accessible and you are not able to bring bottles from off the boat. As a couple, we were given two single beds and other groups of friends that requested single beds were in rooms with doubles. Overall, not worth the price you pay and we weren’t very satisfied and actually left the boat early due to being unwell and not being able to access cold water.

The trip was very well organized - the staff very accommodating - Mario the waiter was exceptional and our Chef Antonia prepared amazing meals every day-the tour guides did an excellent job. The whole team made the experience wonderful. Each island offered a unique experience. Many opportunities to swim off and on the boat. I would have given 5 stars but did not like mixing cyclists that were not on e-bikes with our group. We spent a great deal of time waiting in the very hot sun for the other cyclists to catch up from the hill climbs. Would suggest they charge an extra fee for those cyclists so they could have a separate guide or make e-bikes compulsory - every island has many hills to climb. I will return again with the rest of my family. Also finding the boat at port was very difficult and stressful .The directions were embedded in an email. A separate email with that information only would have been very helpful. Overall I would recommend this company. Remember to pack water shoes!

It has been nearly a year since our Croatia trip and if you’re considering, absolutely do it! This is a small company that has a homey vibe with a small close knit staff. Some parts “rustic” but the overall value of the experience was amazing. My husband and I opted for the e-bikes and loved the option to be on autopilot while climbing hills and ascending. We had an amazing group of travelers on our boat (somehow children did become part of our trip, age 10 and 12? which felt a little unsafe with the bikes and climbs). Breakfasts were a great spread of veggies, poached eggs, variety of breads, scones, small pastries, coffee, juices, spreads, etc. Lunches were simple and straightforward (lettuce salad, soup, etc) and dinners were also straight forward and simple. Seemed healthy to a degree and most all dinners came with some dessert. Folks who were veg didn’t get a lot of food choice. Boat was a bit outdated but comfy/clean. If you’re considering just do it! So much fun!

Such a stunningly beautiful journey! The swim stops made the trip! (bring your water shoes so you don't step on sea urchins when you go explore the shore, also the ship doesn't supply any water toys, so pack maybe a blow-up ring/noodle to float around on). The crew, especially our Tour Guide Stjepan (Steven), Petar and Tomo in the dining room/bar and Zrinka, the maid were FANTASTIC! Keep in mind that not all the excursions that are shown for each island are available at the time you go. We were hoping for more excursions, but still enjoyed each island! In our opinion, Queen Jelena is the most beautiful ship in the Sail Croatia fleet... Captain Gordan should be very proud! Thank you, Sail Croatia, for a trip of a lifetime!

We enjoyed our 7 nights on Olimp but a few changes could improve our experience More water toys needed ie kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear and floats. Non alcoholic beer would be nice for those who can’t have alcohol. Noticed other boats had umbrellas for rainy days. 7 days of exactly the same breakfast was boring. Our waiters and guide were excellent.

We absolutely loved our cycle Sail Croatia. The crew were outstanding they worked tirelessly to ensure that all our needs were met with a smile and time for a chat patiently helping us with our very bad Croatian!! The food was delicious and plentiful a three course lunch every day!! Our guides Bart and Miranda were outstanding not only did they patiently take us on stunning bike rides every day but shared lots of history, loads of local recommendations and friendship just perfect. Our fellow passengers were so much fun, despite a varied age group and different backgrounds all were of a similar mindset and everyone was so friendly. We loved every moment thank you Sail Croatia for a very memorable week.

Our trip on Tempera was memorable for the lovely port schedule & tasty, well prepared meals. But since I have been asked to answer "what would I have changed to improve the product", here goes: Pre-departure information regarding the trip was patchy & very generic, including changing our boat (which we readily agreed to, without realising the trip would be accomodating such a young client profile) Some sailing times were very early in the morning, which meant no chance of getting a lie-in. There was quite a lot of hovering outside ports, so whilst not sailing, not able to sight-see either. Breakfast time could have been extended, especially on the days when we weren't in port until mid-afternoon, to enable a more leisurely start to the day. It was quite damp in our cabin, & noisy at night, with lots of smoking. Despite all of the above, we really did enjoy ourselves. Ioana, our guide, was enthusiastic & communicated very well. All staff worked tirelessly, especially catering: thanks.

I felt that the prices for alcohol onboard were very expensive . The organizational skills of our host were non existent . We had to constantly ask for information and many times ( especially when on excursions) we were left trying to organise ourselves and sort out transportation issues !

The cruise director was not as informative or involved as the cruise guide we had on our previous Elegance Cruise (Olimp) in 2018. He did not accompany us in any of the towns, rather just pointed us in the direction of the buildings of significance. Our previous guide, Ana, was excellent. On our previous cruise, a glass of wine or beer was included with lunch. This has been discontinued. I had specifically asked in advance, about paying by credit or debit card and was told that we could via an email response. Day one, our cruise director informs us that the port fee of 30E each and the bar tab had to be paid in cash. I would recommend that people choose either Dubrovnik to Split/Split to Dubrovnik rather than Split to Split (north). More to see and enjoy. Croatia has become very expensive after changing to the Euro.

Our guides and the crew were just tip-top. We had some challenging weather, and there were some schedule changes that needed to be addressed, but they could always find the silver lining. Our room was on the main deck, and while we don’t expect beds, etc to be like home, we could never get all the moisture out of linens, and always felt as if we were sleeping in the damp. Outside of that, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

The tour guides Ivan and Lola and the captain and crew aboard Milena were fab. Sailing from Split to Dubrovnik via different islands meant we got to see a lot of Croatia. Our guides knowledge was great. We had e-bikes and for us this meant that each cycle ride was really pleasant (there were some really steep climbs).! We had some meals on board and others out meaning we could explore ourselves. The cabins were a little dated. Our fellow passengers were so friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the holiday

Crew and guides great, so were fellow travellers. No complaints about the people. But we had dreadful weather for a few days, and while that was no one’s fault - Maybe more consideration could go into what to do in these circumstances. Eg drying clothes, where to dock (close to towns -where possible) and see if anything could be organised to fill the time. We were lucky that some days were ok- but if not - we would just have been sitting staring at each other!! Just something to consider.

Better cleaning, more friendly, variety with the food, in rainy days have some entertaining even border games or something, the cruise itself is not cheap and of top of that we have to pay more more, a lot of my travellers wee really dissatisfied!!! Never ever will Travel again with you guys I will not recommended neither to my friends!!!!

Loved the friendliness and openness of the crew and guides - showed us the best of Croatian people. There were a few "buts" - there were tv-s in cabins, but they didn't work, the lock of our cabin broke, took a while to get it sorted. The drinks on board cost twice that on shore - I only had 2 classes of wine during the trip and loads on shore - maybe the price policy needs to be worked on... I did also have a question about the wages of the crew and guides - maybe Sail Croatia should pay them more, add it to the overall cost and not do the whole "usually our guests leave tip that much". If people want to add extra tip, they could but this passive agressive - leaving the envelope and instructions how much people need to tip, is leaving a bit of unpleasant shadow to the trip.

A great little cruise totally let down by sales staff, allocations staff and after sales customer service. Information on booking was inaccurate and misleading. After sales customer service lame, defensive and frankly frustrating. Were unable to grasp the gravity of the situation. My separate complaint refers. On a positive Dino the Tour Guide did everything he could on board to offset the frustration and disappointment. Other than that great Tour Guide and Crew - thank you especially Dino and Sime! ❤️. Food service staff friendly but service sometimes slow and haphazard- half serving tables before moving to the next. Room cleanliness good. Food good but ran out of breakfast items - bananas and muesli. Captain didn't engage throughout even on Captains Night. Enjoyable and relevant excursions. Tour schedule altered one day due to inclement weather - saved the day! Perfect!

The comfort of the room, the very professionel and friendly, at the same time, crew, the choice of islands that we visited and excursions offered. Our Sail Croatia representative on board was excellent. She knew her country and good stories. She also listen to her clients. One thing where there will be place for improvement is for a vegetarian or pescatarian diet. We had 3 days of sauté veggies and 4 days of tuna steak. Don't take me wrong It was good but too much the same. Desserts were very good.

Excellent hostess, Nina. Her knowledge and attention were exemplary. Our e-bikes were good and the biking routes very interesting. I would have liked the opportunity to stop and take photos a bit more but the size of our group may have prohibited this. Accommodations and food on ship we very good. Enjoyed our sailings as well.

The early morning departures and late arrivals into ports made shore visits shorter than expected, and passengers were tired after being woken early mornings with engine noise. The itinerary changes due to weather etc could have been better communicated. The loud music playing in the salon all the time was completely unnecessary. Lighter lunch options would have been appreciated. The included shore tours were very good!

We travelled on the Salve De Mare Ship which is a stunning ship, is kept extremely clean and in great condition. The crew all did their job well and the chef was exceptional. All meals were delicious. The only thing I would recommend is when booking a Sail Croatia tour ask the age group of the other guests on that trip. There was a 30+ year age gap between my husband and I and the other guests meaning we were much younger. It would have been nice to meet and holiday with people around a similar age to us too. We went in late September and half of our days were rainy, I would probably recommend doing this trip closer to the summer season also. Croatia is beautiful and well worth seeing and why not on a stunning ship?

Fantastic guide called Ivan charming , gentle and funny. He loved his hometown, Split. He was organised and helpful. We also had a good cabin and ensuite. The small group of 28 people were friendly and approachable. The swimming and destinations were unique and interesting.

The staff were ultra professional and friendly. The itineraries were well planned and executed. Nina and Vania were very experienced in looking after their guests and put their safety and well-being foremost during the cycling outings. On the ship Duje and Stefan were most attentive and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

We were very pleased with this sail/cycle cruise. The boat was great, a lot of details had been addressed, and the crew was always on hand to help out. We only wish we could have cycled longer distances, or have the option to cycle more. There were 29 people in our group, and only two guides. Some people were on classic bicycles, so there was a lot of waiting around for the people on classic bikes to make it up the hills. It would be better to separate such a large group in levels of ability, speed, or bicycle type, with more guides at hand. More stops along the way to visit would also have been better. But all in all, it was a great experience, and I would whole-heartedly recommend it.

I’m so lucky that I met such an amazing group of people on this sail Croatia because without them I would’ve been very disappointed. The food served on the boat was almost inedible, most people skipped it and ended up buying their own food. The crew on the boat were quite rude and made no effort to remember dietary requirements which almost resulted in some dire situations with multiple members on the boat. The bar on the boat was pretty much always closed which made it difficult at ports where there were no external bars - everyone had a few early night which isn’t exactly what you picture when you sign up for sail Croatia. Although the bar being closed wasn’t all bad as the drinks were so overpriced hardly anyone could afford them. Another issue with the bar being closed is that you’re not allowed to bring any food or drinks onboard - this is inconvenient when you need something to eat or drink and there is no way to purchase anything on board. Thank god I had a good group!

It was our first time on a cruise and Sail Croatia team and Ivan made it a very enjoyable and pleasurable experience. The food was absolutely great, the overall staff were very friendly and always approachable and there to assist you if needed. The itinerary for the cruise was a great selection and the cabins are of a good size and always clean too. Ivan our main host was brilliant and very proud of his country and rightly so. I would 100% recommend Sail Croatia and especially the trip we went on. We have made many lovely memories on this cruise and met some lovely people. Ivan gave great info daily about our planned days including history and local details of each of the islands visited. We also thought having a photographer come along to photo the group was a wonderful idea capturing the holiday. We have a 4 instead of a 5 star because there was a limited selection of alcoholic beverages, no nibbles and cabin decor is a little basic, however we loved our holiday and thank you xx
