We had an absolutely amazing week sailing aboard Almissa! The country is stunning, with breathtaking coastline, crystal-clear water, and beautiful towns to explore. A special thank you to the incredible crew of Almissa for being so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food on board was exceptional—far beyond our expectations and honestly one of the highlights of the trip. A big shout-out as well to our tour manager, Josip, who was fantastic. He was fun, approachable, incredibly well organized, and always went the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time and knew about all the available activities and options. This was a truly memorable experience, and I would absolutely sail Croatia again—perhaps on a different route next time. Highly recommended!

It was amazing, we had a really good time, our captain and hostess were incredibly nice and our best decision was to leave all the destinations up to them. They took us to gorgeous places and always recommended delicious restaurants to dine in. Jo (the hostess) always cooked delicious breakfast and lunch it was a exciting to see what she was gonna cook that day! I can’t recommend this experience more! It was truly wonderful and super worth it!

I've traveled extensively for pleasure and work and enjoy unique stays (like yurts) as well as luxury (Four Seasons etc) I was seeking a special trip to take with my adult kids (25 and 23) before my daughter moves from CA to NY. Sail Croatia looked great on paper but you never know... Well, I am here to say that this trip exceeded our expectations in myriad ways! My son said it was the best trip he's ever taken and I agree with him wholeheartedly!! Vedran, our guide, was so informative, kind and funny from Day 1 and we were lucky in that our group of 14 strangers bonded immediately. That in itself is unheard of and a testament to how Vedran brought us together. And WOW!! The incredible turquoise sea and the daily swim stops were my favorite part. What a gift! And on top of that, we also had the opportunity to explore and experience amazing islands every day! The unique meals/ experiences through the Taste of Croatia were the icing on the cake. Special memories for a lifetime!!

Our week on Almissa exceeded all expectations. The boat was so clean and the crew was great. The rooms had plenty of storage and the bathroom size was much larger than we expected! The meals were so tasty and as a picky eater, I truly enjoyed each one. The swim stops were definitely a highlight each day and it was a great mix of exploring local towns and relaxing in the sun. Highly recommend Almissa!

Thanks so much for an amazing sailing holiday on the beautiful and modern yacht Night Sky. We were a family of five (2 adults and 3 young children including a baby) + a very lovely and highly skilled skipper with local knowledge allocated to us by Sail Croatia. We enjoyed every second of the trip. The yacht has lots of space and the cockpit especially is very spacious. It is also very clean and the cabins are comfortable for sleeping. The yacht is well equipped and had everything we needed + more. The yacht is great for sailing with young children onboard, she behaves very stable while having sails up and it was good speed too. Very fun! The Sail Croatia team was very helpful all the way and made us feel very much looked after, they are very organised and we very much recommend them. We will be back for sure .

Our trip on board the Katarina was much more than we had imagined! The boat was so comfortable with lots of space to spread out or cozy when you wanted to be with others. The staff were so friendly and helpful and always smiling despite the many hours they were putting in. Our guide “V”. Was so sweet and funny and very knowledgeable! He briefed us on all the islands! “I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE AND I OWE IT ALL TO YOU”” lol

Every aspect of this holiday is great - the crew, the itinerary, the food , the relaxation around the secluded swim areas and the differing coastline destination culture & vibe. We were incredibly fortunate to have a great bunch of fellow travellers . Best of all was Dino our lead as he was fantastic in going above and beyond to make special arrangements for my husband who has a lung condition so that he did not miss out on any adventure. Overall a highly recommended week of relaxation where everything is done for you and your brain can just switch off .

We had a great week aboard Princeza Diana. The crew were attentive and our host Ana very knowledgeable. Some great excursion options. A small group of 15 which actually made the week as we all got to know each other so well and all clicked. Highly recommend. I would say though when asked if you have dietary restrictions, if you don’t like fish or tomatoes worth saying as they are very much apart of the meals. Overall meals were good.

We had a great holiday. In a week, we managed to visit the islands of Solta, Vis, Hvar and Brac. The water is amazingly warm and there are so many places to explore in this area around Split. We went in a very busy time of year (mid July), so the rule of being somewhere by 2pm to get a good spot definitely stands. We had an issue with our house battery and needed to run the engine A LOT to keep it charged, but otherwise the boat was clean and in a very good condition. The swim platform at the back was also a big win - so much fun. We were 8 people on the boat and the boat still felt spacious. The interior and exterior common areas are huge and things didn't feel cramped at all. The boat is set up well for the med.

If you are considering a Sail Croatia trip, take the plunge and go! We absolutely loved our experience from start to finish. (We departed Dubrovnik on July 4 and ended in Split - Explorer.) The itinerary was the perfect combination of beautiful destinations, swimming, adventure, culture, food, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the incredible Adriatic coastline. What really made the trip special, though, was the experience of traveling with a small group and the dedicated crew. Of our 31 travelers, 11 were international (Scottish, British, Spanish, Australian, South African), with the rest from the US - and all were awesome humans! With Josip as our guide, and the Salve Di Mare crew caring for us all week, we enjoyed every minute with all our new friends. And the ship is perfection! The trip was well organized, while still feeling relaxed and adventurous. We came home with memories we'll never forget and friends we hope to see again. Five stars without hesitation!

Our captain and hostess were phenomenal. They were very interactive with my 2 grandsons. Our captain was very knowledgeable and was helpful in recommending where to go and activities available. Our hostess was very personable and a great cook. My only suggestion to make this a better trip would be to connect with our crew ahead of time especially the hostess so we buy the proper supplies for her to do her job. The box I ordered was not able to be customized which led to items we were not going to use. She did a very good job working with what she had. Also, it would have been helpful to know that cash is very necessary for all the stops since many places did not accept credit cards. I would definitely book a trip with Sail Croatia again.

The ship accommodations were just right for us with a relatively spacious room and plenty of room on the boat to spread out. We loved the smaller ship stops and the planned excursions available to us that were small adventures along the way. Our host and crew were exceptionally nice and helpful in meeting our needs. The only thing missing would be access to the TV aboard the ship.

Our week on the Almissa was amazing. Great food, staff, rooms, common spaces and other guests. The itinerary was excellent including a variety of activities and swim spots. A truly unique and special way to experience Croatia and we have no hesitation recommending the Almissa. The Sail Croatia communication was good in the lead up to the tour. A few things to note as feedback. Make the end of tour survey anonymous to get honest and useful feedback, carrying cash is a pain now for tourists - the fact everything on the boat and the extra tours and tips are to be paid in cash is inconvenient. Towels on the ship could be replaced - they are getting a bit old. Provide tea and coffee after lunch for free. This would be a small inexpensive thing to include - many international guests like their coffee and tea in the afternoon. 3 Euros for a cup of tea is way over the top. Finally the tipping recommendation appears out of step with what the cruise cost is. Small suggestions.

For the first 10 days we travelled from Zagreb to Split, a very busy enjoyable informative journey. From Split we embarked on Spellbound for 7 glorious days to Dubrovnik, the real holiday! Ana, our skipper, and Danjel, our hostess, looked so well after us! We did not bargain on a chef, and Danjel treated us on wonderful breakfasts and real Croatian lunches. He is also quite a master in choosing the sweetest watermelon and sweet melon! In the meantime, Ana steered us safely through all the small ports and we could admire her sailor’s skills. Moreover, they were so sweet to these four older women and became our friends. I trust you can imagine how special this trip was for our four sisters. We were so aware of our fragility and how privileged we are to do something like this together. Spellbound and its crew just added to this. Ana asked us to provide a review. As a crew we could not ask for better! Spellbound was just perfect for us. In a nutshell it was a perfect holiday!

Our Sail Croatia cruise was one of the best trips of my life! My husband, our adult kids, and I all agreed it was an unforgettable experience. The ship was beautiful, our cabin was spacious, and it was meticulously cleaned every day. The food was outstanding, and the entire crew was friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help. A special thank you to our tour manager, Dino. He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations at every stop, helping us make the most of each destination. Although our itinerary changed slightly due to weather and docking conditions, it worked out perfectly. We visited Jelsa, which ended up being our favorite stop of the trip! The swim stops were absolutely spectacular, with crystal clear water and breathtaking scenery. If you're considering Sail Croatia, don't hesitate. It was an incredible experience, and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

The locations were stunning, the crew and fellow passengers were fun and engaging, and the food was imaginative and delicious (but not too crazy for our picky eaters). .Our private catamaran charter on the Spellbound with Sail Croatia was the best trip I've ever taken with my family. I was delighted by how customized the experience was without much advanced planning (the captain Ana and host Danijel got to know us and made great recommendations). The trip seemed twice as long (in the best way) because traveling from island to island was part of the magic, and it didn't feel like a waste of time compared to taking a vehicle . I was most worried that the boat would feel too crowded (10 adults) or too hot (end of June) and neither was true at all! Danijel was an excellent cook (honestly, some of his food was better than the restaurants, and that is no knock on the restaurant!) and Ana was amazing at scheduling and coordinating the day's activities. Our favorite parts of the trip: e-biking Mjlet, ATV tours of Hvar, & snorkling off the boat each day. My dad caught an octopus, we saw a pod of dolphins, & the water was crystal clear 30+ feet down.

We went into our trip with high expectations and even those were exceeded by Fani and Mishlav (spelling?). From the moment we stepped on board they were warm welcoming and accommodating. The boat was well maintained and very comfortable. Fani was incredibly helpful shopping and preparing gorgeous and delicious meals for us! Mishlav was an excellent captain, super skilled and navigated some wind and weather perfectly keeping us in calm waters and sunny coves the whole week! Croatia is a gorgeous country with the nicest people, most gorgeous water and coast lines rich in history and beauty!

We hired the boat Morpheus for our family of 5 ( three adult children) Andreas our skipper was fantastic and an enthusiastic sailer. he planned a great week for us. With a mix of remote swimming spots and idyllic towns. The boat was perfect and the kitchen well equipped with everything thing to to cook lunch each day on board. One of the great things about the trip was you are in a different place each day but you dont have to pack your bags each day like when you stay in a hotel. We would all love to do this trip again.

Once we had recovered from the consequences of 1,000 rings of the infamous Sail Croatia bell, my siblings and I agreed that it had been the best week of our life and made a pact to return on the oldies boat when we are geriatric. It goes without saying that the people you meet, nights out and activities are all priceless, but what really made the entire trip was our host Libby’s organisation, maturity of a person twice her age, perfect balance between friend and authority when it mattered, and perfect speeches that set the tone for our days. She took extremely good care of us all, often going out of her way to follow up on situations and check in with everyone if they seemed off. She was an absolute joy to be around, made the trip feel effortless and I highly recommend her as a host. Thank you Sail, but most importantly thank you Libby for your hard work. 🩷

You never know what to expect with 35 strangers but this mini 7 night cruise exceeded all expectations. We were warmly greeted and had ample time to mingle or do our our things. We were provided with numerous options for eating out and placed to visit at each stop. The on board food (breakfast and lunch) were plentiful and the swim stops along the way were so dreamy and refreshing during our hot week on board. The rooms were well spaced with ample storage for our 2 large and 2 small cases and the A/C kicked in well at night. Our main host Andro was exceptional and his command of the English language made everything seamless, closely followed by the diligent boat crew . We had so much fun, lots of drinks and laughs with guests and plenty of time to really unpack and unwind. I felt safe, my belongings were secure and we strongly recommend the Tempera to those looking for adventure, unique beauty but ample time to chill out.. There are a few deserving tips and taxes to factor in though.

Croatia is beautiful, I loved all the islands, Stari Grad and Mljet National Park were highlights. Tempera is due for a refurb next year, it's fine, but it does need some attention. The crew were great. As a pescatarian I was catered for, but hot breakfast items were all in the same serving dish - eggs tasted of sausages - I can cope with that, but many wouldn't. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable.

Thank you for a wonderful, enjoyable trip! We could not have asked for more. Our Skipper, Ana, early on showed experience and confidence and we allowed her to make decisions regarding our stops, swimming places and restaurants. This experience has truly claimed the #1 spot for “best family trip” by a long shot. Danijel and Ana were our dynamic duo that made the sail special and specific to our family’s preferences. They recommended incredible experiences, helped us avoid overcrowded less impressive options, and kept us fed with delicious meals prepared fresh every day. We spent days swimming in stunning waters with very few neighboring ships, and evenings dining with the most incredible views. Ana planned reservations that we never would have found or known of otherwise, and we greatly appreciated her honesty in describing our options so we could pick the best options for us. Everywhere we went Danijel and Ana had clearly formed genuine relationships with so many locals across all of the islands- and the warmth and hospitality of those relationships radiated and was felt by our family, too. It was incredible to be a guest on this Sail Croatia charter, and I could not recommend it more highly.

We had a great time cycling sailing socialising and visiting the islands our guides Tonka Natasha and Tony were out to ensure everything went smoothly - their clear instructions, information with a friendliness and sense of humour was exceptional The crew too worked hard to ensure the boat was immaculate and where it should be - peter the barman and waiter was efficient with a great sense of humour A mix of nationalities made the conversations at meal times and whenever we were together more interesting I was worried when I booked this holiday for the 3rd time and it didn’t disappoint - we will be back next year for a 4th 😊 Thankyou to our guides and crew you gave it your all

Our private yacht charter for 4 adult family members on Sundance was relaxing with all of the details handled by our captain, Ivan. He planned each day as we went, paying close attention to activities we enjoyed, specific requests, and boat traffic to avoid crowds. He suggested local restaurants on each island and made dinner reservations for us. His laid back, friendly approach and local knowledge enabled our days to be fluid without having to keep to a specific schedule. The boat itself is starting to show its age and does not have a generator so there was no air conditioning except if docked in a marina which led to some very warm nights when we were on mooring buoys or anchor, which was most nights, as well as during the day due to the severe heat wave during our charter. The Sail Croatia team made booking, check-in and check-out extremely fast and easy. Provisioning provided by Artisans of Food was delivered to the boat before we arrived. Highly recommend Sail Croatia!
