The crew aboard the Salve di Mare looked after us from start to finish with great attentivness and humour. The boat was beautiful and spacious and I loved watching the skillful captain bringing us in and out of port. Wonderful food- (how do they do that in such a small kitchen)?! And of course, the spectaclar scenery of Croatia- crystal clear waters, majestic mountains and the idyllic port villages and towns. And finally a special mention for our hiking guide, Mate and our customer care and everything else, Sasha. Both were excellent at their job and looked after us very well and with great humour, which I loved. A wonderful experience and great memories made.

This trip far exceeded our expectations. We knew the scenery and history along the Croatian Coastline was impressive but add to this a beautiful boat, wonderful crew and Sail Croatia reps and delicious food - what more could you want? We loved that you could find your own evening meal on shore and that you could join in the hiking or relax on board with a book. No pressure. The accommodation, food and tour guides surpassed my expectations. The staff are obviously proud of the service they provide and continuously displeyed a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism. We really enjoyed the small ship atmosphere and being able to get to know your fellow passengers and make new friendships. The food was exceptional and it was nice not having every minute being planned for us. We were on the wine cruise and the winery experiences were fantastic. The tour leader (Lola) and the rest of the crew went out of their way to accommodate every request. I’d definitely recommend this company.

We travelled from Dubrovnik to Split on the beautiful Queen Jalena in May. Our tour coordinator, Lola, was incredible, generously sharing her knowledge of each port we docked at, daily menus, schedule updates, and helping with any and all queries along the way. The entire ship crew were absolutely fantastic — warm, professional, attentive, and always welcoming. The service throughout the trip was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere onboard was just so relaxed. Every stop along the coastline was stunning, the wineries we visited were passionate about their craft, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. In addition, we had the most incredible group of fellow travellers, all with their own interesting stories to share. Everyone looked out for each other, which made the journey even more special. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to explore the Croatian coast in comfort while enjoying outstanding hospitality.

I can't think of a better way to explore the islands of Croatia! We spent days cycling through the scenic countryside with super competent and fun guides, and evenings docked in pretty little port towns on our beautiful ship. The Croatian crew was fabulous, the food was great and everything was really well organized. The whole week felt adventurous and relaxing at the same time. I loved every minute of it!

16 friends enjoyed a 7 day cruise on the Romantic Star and it was wonderful. Our food was delish & prepared with such presentation by Sivilja & Laura.. Our Cruise manager - Anita- was very informative about every island, and made excellent recommendations and reservations. Captain Ivan was Great- we even got him On the dance floor!! What a joy it was to explore such a beautiful country!!

I'm sorry I cannot give a 5 star review. The great things about the ship was the chef, the crew and the facilities. All great - clean, organized, well run. My disappointment was in the lack of excursions on the islands between Dubrovnik and Split. I thought that we should have some kind of introduction to each island and short walking tour each time we docked. Everyday was a swim day and because the water was too cold to swim I had hoped that an adjustment would be made to the schedule for an alternate activity. Perhaps dock earlier to give us some time off the boat. There was too much sitting around time. From breakfast, through lunch there was nothing to do if you did not swim (& no one did). We did not disembark til 2 pm. Our tour dir. did her job perfunctorily and made arrangements as requested, She was not as visible or involved with our group. Although she said she has been doing this for 4 years she came off as unsure and inexperienced.

Sailing from Dubrovnik to Split on the Wine Cruise aboard the Queen Jelena was my first cruise and first time to Croatia. Sail Croatia was a wonderful experience. The Tour Leader was warm, attentive, and proactive in ensuring the guests were informed and comfortable. I appreciated the "off the beaten path" experiences with winemakers and private tours. The crew were highly competent and the ship and accomodations were clean and tasteful. With the wine focus for the trip, the group of guests from around the globe bonded and developed friendships that will last beyond this vacation. I highly recommend. I was traveling as a single woman with friends (a married couple) and always felt welcome by the other guests and staff.

The entire experience, down to the smallest details, was extremely well coordinated and executed.The transfers from and to the airport went smoothly and the drivers made us feel comfortable and the one on the incoming transfer gave us great options for places to visit the day before we sailed. Anita was above and beyond helpful in all aspects of the cruise. She communicated any and all details very well and in a timely manner. She made sure to coordinate excursions and dinners in port that would meet our interests as well as making sure we knew where specific amenities we may need were located on shore. The chef and sous chef did an outstanding job with the meals. The beautiful presentation, fabulous flavor, and broad range of menus for each onboard meal was amazing for such a small kitchen.Lunch and the captains dinner felt like a fine dining experience. Ivan and the crew made us feel welcome and preformed their tasks smoothly.. Bravo to the team at Sail Croatia and Romantic Star!

Everything about the cruise is first class. The boat “Olimp” is beautiful and extremely comfortable The crew were absolutely marvellous. The tour director gave clear and concise information and made everything we did fun as well I celebrated my birthday whilst onboard and can say that it will go down as one the most memorable! The crew helped to make my day very special. Our hostesses! What can I say attentive, friendly, helpful professional and fun too. I would love to return and do it all again.

Everything was so well planned. Our representative Marin was extremely helpful. I loved the way he explained what was to transpire every day and how he repeated the info on WhatsApp. The rest of the staff including Marco & Vlaho were also excellent. I am vegetarian so a big shout out to the kitchen staff who make delicious meals for me. Overall, as 2 women travelling together, I always felt safe & well taken care of. I would highly recommend.

As a travel professional for decades, I have been fortunate to experience many incredible trips. This one personally ranks near the very top of my list. Why? Because Croatia is simply a destination that is hard to fully describe — the history, the food culture, the beauty of the coastline, and most importantly, the warmth of the people. Our Catamaran was pristine, comfortable, and perfect for this style of travel. The Skipper and Hostess were absolutely wonderful — gracious, professional, and clearly trained in hospitality, always making sure we were taken care of while still allowing the trip to feel relaxed and effortless. What also made this experience so special was the sense of adventure. Traveling with a great group of friends, we often did not know exactly what each day would bring due to weather, ports, and changing options. But every stop, every adjustment, and every surprise turned into something memorable in its own right. This was not just a vacation-an experience!

The Hound Dog was the perfect boat for our group. Our Captain Andrija was very competent and delightful. We trusted in all his recommendations. Josipa was so helpful and prepared amazing food and snacks for us. Always ready with a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. Croatia is so beautiful! We had a lot of laughs and an amazing time. Sail Croatia Wine Cruise was wonderful! The crew and staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to make the trip a memorable event. The food was delicious, always expertly prepared and attractively presented. I was especially appreciative of the attention to detail for my food allergy. Anita was super great in planning our excursions and wine tastings. Each island stop was fun and unique for all to enjoy. Her enthusiasm was contagious! Croatia is a beautiful country with some amazing towns with incredible medieval fortresses and buildings. Cruising among the Dalmatian islands in the Adriatic Sea on Sail Croatia's Almissa ship was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. The crew served delicious breakfasts and lunches. Caesar and Merico kept everyone well served and entertained. Dino, our tour guide, did a fantastic job and had great suggestions for places to go on our own. He was also a great source of information on the history and culture of Croatia. Our fellow travelers were great - a small cruise ship (28 people on our ship) is a great way to explore Croatia and meet so many great folks. Lots of fun!

This was such a great trip - each day was so well planned and the accommodations and food on the Emanuel were wonderful! Tonka, Matilda and Elena, our guides, were fun to ride with and had everything covered. We had lots of laughs with them and thoroughly enjoyed their company and their stories about each place we visited. The electric bikes made the tougher rides up the mountains to the spectacular viewpoints accessible to all and the rides through the towns fun. All the bikers on the trip got along so well and were a pleasure to travel with! Christina, the crew manager, was very attentive to everyone’s on-board dining and bar requests - she was truly delightful! The cabins were just the right size for 2 people and there were many different areas on the decks to hang out either with the other travelers or individually between ports. The meals were wonderful and had a good variety of foods. It was fun to sit with different folks at the 6 person dining tables and get to know everyone!

I had never done such an active trip. Communication pre travel was excellent as i did email several times before trip for specifics. . the Guides were fun and knowledgable, the bike (ebike) worked well and was comfortable . Agenda was active and things were on time. no “waiting “ around. Croatia is a beautiful country and the islands were fun to bike. especially diring the mid of April before major tourist season. The weather was beautiful—something no one can control.

This was my first European vacation and I couldn't have picked a more beautiful or enjoyable way to see Europe, especially Croatia. The trip was affordable, accommodations very comfortable, ship clean, food excellent. I enjoyed having a smaller ship. Staff was very accommodating. Marin and Anna did an excellent job organizing, communicating the day's events, continuing to text to keep us informed, and keeping us safe. I appreciated that the last day of the trip, our captain ensured we were not caught in the middle of the sea in the middle of a storm. Everyone ensured we could get our final rides in yet get into port in ample time prior to the storm. The first day was a bit confusing. Maybe a bit more time could have been spent explaining the ebikes and test riding more prior to going on the ride. Also, some of the ports had limited restaurants. Communication could have been a bit clearer that restaurants had limited seating. This was a most enjoyable trip. Thank you to the entire staff

This is my second Sail Croatia bike and sail. Again, it exceeded all my expectations! The staff and guides were excellent. Meals were exceptional! Loved the swim stops even though the water was a little cool in early June. Once you got in it was great.

Ivan out tour guide was phenomenal. He taught us something new everyday about the history and geography of Croatia. He always made things interesting and fun. The entire schedule of the Wines of Croatia Cruise was perfect, never too much and always an adventure. We were treated like royalty on the ship and the accomodations were just right. The Queen Jalena is a marvel of a ship. I hope to sail with Sail Croatia again in the next year or tow, NO ONE could be better!!

Touring the Croatian Islands on bikes was such a fantastic way to see the gorgeous landscape and historic towns. The e-bikes are what made this vacation so special because they allow everyone to enjoy the ride without too much exertion. I did not use one but I would recommend them for most people. Our tour guides were friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The food was (too) delicious as proven by my scale upon return. I can't stop telling everyone I know how much I enjoyed this trip!

We were a group of 11 friends on the Queen Jelena Wines of Croatia cruise and had the trip of a lifetime! From the service, to the cleanliness of the boat, to the excursions, everything was flawless. Biggest shout out goes to our intrepid leader Ivan who was always organized and informative, and most importantly, put up with our antics. If we were to come back for another cruise, he would be our top request! And don't forget about the food! The breakfast buffet was always hot and filling. The three course meals were some of the best meals I had while traveling ever. Finally, the dining excursions included were such a delicious way to try traditional dishes. Sail Croatia truly does an exceptional job at customer service and tourism experiences. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

I absolutely loved this trip! We did the Explorer Split Return on the Almissa. I'm an avid cruiser, but now I'm spoiled and hooked on small ship cruises! It was so nice to have swim stops each day and get to swim right off the bow of the boat in a beautiful cove! Since we overnighted in each port, we were able to enjoy our time there without worrying about getting back to the boat on time! We were docked in the harbor at each port and walking distance to dining, shops, and activities. Food was great and service was excellent. Our cruise director Vin was so friendly and helpful, giving us great tips and advice for each port. My bed was very comfortable and room was clean with good AC! I had an above deck cabin, so I was able to open my window for fresh air, which was very nice since it wasn't very hot during our end of Sept sailing. I would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate to book another cruise with them if I have the opportunity to return to Croatia!

The food on board was delicious! The weather was superb which allowed us to look forward to each and every swim stop. Loved all the islands we visited. Our cruise director Anita was the absolute best. Always keeping us informed ahead of time on what to expect at each island and ideas on where explore, what activities to possibly participate in and amazing selection of restaurant choices. She was always quick to answer questions, make reservations and assist with any problems anyone had. What a kind beautiful person who clearly loves what she does. We have raved about our holiday and our Sail Croatia experience. What an incredible way to meet people from around the world, explore the many regions of Croatia. The Sail Croatia trip is small enough (about 30 people) to be personal. The organsiation has the experience to know what works for a group. We had 7 nights on board. We were cycling every day in a range of beautiful islands with time also to relax and explore the environment and local treats. The tour guides were friendly, organised and professional. It was fabulous having 7 nights without having to transfer accommodation as we hopped from island to island. We had fun with everyone on board and received fresh meals. At night we could eat locally on shore and there were options like wine tasting easily accessible to the boat. We had seven weeks holiday and this week was a highlight.
