This holiday was wonderful. The crew were fabulous and our tour guides were amazing. There was a fun and friendly vibe amongst everyone from the get go. Avica and Diego were so knowledgeable about each of the islands and so made the rides easy for everybody as well as suggesting and organising great outings and meal options for the evenings on the islands. The whole week was so well organised and nothing was too much trouble for either the crew or tour managers. This holiday was a great balance between activity, relaxation and sightseeing.

This was an amazing trip! Everyone on the crew was wonderful! Sasa was the best, He kept us updated on the details of each day and did everything to make us happy and comfortable. His knowledge and passion for his country showed as we toured the islands! Calum was great. He gave detailed descriptions of our bike rides and what to expect. They both made the trip extra fun.. when weather affected our rides, Calum and Sasa made sure we were notified and new plans made. The entire crew was attentive and friendly. We loved every minute of the trip and the enthusiasm from the crew made it extra special. Croatia is beautiful!!

A fabulous experience - amazing staff, beautiful ship, great food enhanced by the host Lucia and our cycle guide Dora. Both were brilliant and have great interactions with each other and all guests. Their knowledge of Croatia past and present was shared with passion and enthusiasm. Would I recommend anything is different—introduce a cocktail hour on the boat and you'll definitely increase the spend.

I throughly enjoyed my cruise from Split return of the northern islands of Croatia. Last year I travelled the Southern islands from Dubrovnik to Split . It was so enjoyable I booked this years trip as soon as I came home I am also going to book again for 2027 The cycle tour guide was extremely good , knew routes exceptionally well and explained the route every morning in great detail . We also had a lady who cycled with us who had detailed local and historical knowledge of each location , village and town we visited The boat I was on was attractive , nice size cabin - great shower . A wardrobe and bedside cabinets . The crew were really helpful , we had lovely breakfasts and lunches every day . The captains evening dinner was great too . The boat had a bar and you could have drinks when you want If you want a relaxing cruise , with fun cycling , history and beautiful locations in Croatia - all thrown in together then I strongly recommend one of the trips Sail Croatia run .

We had a lovely time sailing the Islands of Croatia. Our biking guide Andre was Croatian and he had a wealth of knowledge about each destination and did a great job keeping us safe and giving us freedom to enjoy the area. Our sail Croatia coordinator Callum was amazing as well. He was very professional and fun and also very knowledgeable about Croatia. The ship staff were fabulous. They were very friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was a good variety and lunches were always 3 courses and lots of food. Snack were offered in the dining room every day also. Dinners were off the ship at a local restaurant except 2 dinners on the ship. The captain’s dinner and a Bar-b-que. . Both delightful. The only complaint is that the morning coffee was terrible (If you wanted a good coffee you had to buy it), the only portable water was locked up every day at 10pm in the dining room until 7am, and the bedding and towels were only changed once. We showered a lot because of sweating and biking

My Croatia Sailing and Bicycling with Sail Croatia was over the top! The Princeza Diana was a marvel and worked with the limestone aesthetics of Croatia. Captain Mate and his Mates were not just sailors,, they assisted with the bikes and small special requests. The Cycling was pure perfection including the routes, the bikes and our guides. Special mention: Ivan guaranteed ease of ride by communicating daily routes and I must not forget Mario’s story time. One of the group’s favorites! “The Chef”s meals were a curated bonus! His meals Includied tuna steaks, silver fish, shrimp risotto and other Croatian specialties. I could hardly wait for that next meal. Sail Croatia did an outstanding job delivering an exciting vacation and I look forward to traveling with them in the future!

I had a fantastic time on this cruise and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a memorable and easy way to travel through Croatia. Everything was extremely well organised and professionally run which made the experience relaxed, enjoyable and a lot of fun. The guides were excellent and complemented each other perfectly Lucy with her knowledge of local history and culture and Ivan with directions and bike safety and their enthusiasm and personalities added to the great atmosphere. They were always available for questions or help and recommended fabulous extra excursions and local restaurants to try. There was genuinely nothing to fault. Everything ran smoothly and every member of the crew were professional, efficient and friendly. Swimming off the back of the boat was a real favourite and was organised whenever safe to do so. Sail Croatia created a magical experience for us on the clean and comfortable ‘Princeza Diana.’ Guides Lucy and Ivan made our cruise feel personal and professional with a keen sense of humor, local expertise and fun. The daily schedule was well organized with a nice mix of scheduled activities (biking, swimming, touring) and downtime. Chef Marko created amazingly delicious multi-course meals that were loved by all. The entire staff was pleasant, polite and hard-working. Bikes were in excellent condition and fun to ride. Every day's itinerary was well organized, with enough rest stops during the daily rides. There was also enough time on each island to do your own exploring. I'm really glad I chose Sail Croatia. I didn’t know what to expect and was a little concerned doing this trip as a solo but it turned out to be beyond fantastic. The only bad thing is that it ended! Calvin and Srdan were amazing guides. The crew was efficient and kind. I needed some extra early morning assistance to get my luggage off the boat for a very early uber ride to the airport, and Iono (?) quickly volunteered and made all my stress go away. The ship was very clean. The food was fantastic. The bikes were easy to use and well maintained. The rides were a fun mix of adventure and sightseeing. I was happy to use my e-bike assist on the longer rides, which made the experience so much pre enjoyable. The swims in the sea were delightful. I easily connected with the other passengers, and I now consider many of them friends. But most of all, it was Calum and Srdan who made the week so special. Thank you!! I hope to return and bring my loved ones with!!

We were a group of 4 siblings, plus spouses, traveling on the Split to Dubrovnik sail/cycle route. We loved everything about the trip. I highly recommend an e-bike which helps on the long hills. Our daily guides were very knowledgeable about the islands we cycled. Each morning before we cycled, the Guide would explain some history of the island, and what to look out for on the upcoming day's ride. One Guide led and the other followed the group. The scenery was spectacular. The food was very good, and the accommodations were comfortable. We stayed in a different port each night so between cycling and walking around the different ports, we got a flavor of each individual island.

I’ve had an amazing time and a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Not only were our guides Ivan and Lucy were amazing during the bike tours, they also provided amazing suggestions on things to do and where to eat. They were very well organized and took care of everything even reservation reservations, or booking tours. Lucy also provided us with so much history and information on every island we were at. It was such an amazing trip and an adventure of a lifetime. They made sure everyone was included and had something to do that, giving many alternatives incase some groups wanted to do their own thing. We made so many unforgettable memories as well as friends. I definitely would recommend and would totally do it again! Lucy and Ivan are the best people, friends, and guides ever!

Fantastic! I traveled with my sister & friends. We shared both Northern/May 30, Mali Ante, & Southern/June 6, Afrodita on the 2 different yachts. After top notch dining, lodging, & exceptional friendly service on the Mali Ante, our second week on Afrodita yacht/crew was a bit of a let down. The towns, e-bike touring & special time shared with family/friends learning about Croatia was great! Again the crew on Mali Ante were professional, fun, & top notch! It also made a huge difference that Mali Ante crew were respectful of guests with cigarette smoking. It’s not fashionable & or healthy to most people.

The guides were great, very informative and knowledgeable throughout the trip. The food was good, and we had the opportunity to see many stunning places. Croatia is a truly beautiful country. One area for improvement would be the towel service, as towels were only changed once a week. I also felt that the recommended gratuity of €105 per guide was quite expensive. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, with plenty of beautiful sights and memorable moments.

First off I want to say that the cycling was fantastic. Having said that, our trip was rated a 2.5/5 which is true but that rating is the average of the intensity of the rides. So some days were 1/5 and some were 4/5. We had an issue in our bathroom that was not resolved until the 4th day. The food was mediocre at best. Very little fruit, everything was cold, croissants that weren't baked through, single ingredient salads, only instant coffee unless you were willing to pay extra, Drinks were expensive, you couldn't get single glasses of wine. Our guide was knowledgeable but he spoke so quickly it was difficult to follow what he was saying. Both he and the other guide were friendly and helpful. I found my bike to be comfortable but there were a number of issues with the bikes in general. Croatia is beautiful and I would recommend exploring it by bike but not with SailCroatia.

Our cruise with Sail Croatia was lovely. The biking was a bit more challenging & athletic than anticipated, so we were happy to have e-bikes. But our tour guides Marin & Natasha were knowledgeable & skilled so we always felt safe. Daily rides lasted 3-6 hours, the latter with added excursions. Some on quiet remote roads, but a few on rather busy thruways. I'd suggest offering a more leisurely bike option with site-seeing stops (we did coffee & beach stops but they were very brief) The boat itself was basic but comfortable (premier class). Our room was adequate & clean, with a large bathroom, plenty of hot water & AC. However there were some lacking amenities such as a comfortable lounge area away from the wind when at sail, with seating enough for everyone on board. We were also expecting sun loungers on the top deck, but there were just a few plastic chairs. Lastly the buffet breakfasts were wonderful, but not the plated lunches. I'd suggest offering buffet instead.

We can’t thank you enough. From the moment we made contact we have received the best service with communication received every step of the way. We had the best time on the Mali Luka. The crew were fantastic and always so helpful. All the meals were amazing and so much food!!! Our guides Josko and Callum are AMAZING!!!! Their knowledge and experience certainly made the trip even better than we expected!! We could not fault anything and are so pleased that we did the cycle cruise as we got to see so much more of each island and receive so much information from our guides!! Such a great holiday! Croatia is beautiful, the Croatian people friendly and welcoming. The cycle cruises combine an excellent blend of varied cycling, sailing and sightseeing. The trips are carefully curated to include the most appealing towns and cycle routes. The balance between "group activity" and independent exploration is just right. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and committed to ensuring a great holiday experience for the whole group. Our boat Emmanuel was everything we could have hoped for with an excellent captain and crew.

Just wonderful! Fell in love with Croatia ! Just the absolute best crew, they are all so nice and welcoming. Ivica and sasa (ride wizards) are so caring and patient. You are so safe with them. Very good sense of humor too! They never make you feel bad if you are on the slow side The cook feeds you his great food as if there is no tomorrow. The cycling itself was great! The island cycling routes are challenging (in a good way) with so many epic views. The ship and (some) crew, however, fell short of expectations. The Dionis boat was old and a bad experience from the start, especially compared to the other boats for the same price (which you walk through & see what you are missing out on). I feel ripped off. Even sail Croatia staff commented on Dionis being the worst! A leaking roof in my cabin, leaking shower, significant slant in my room so my head was lower than my feet in bed, uncomfortable common areas compared to other boats. Very basic, not like in the pictures on the website. Some crew members were not very engaging…seemed like they didn’t want to be there. No help offered with carrying luggage across multiple ships on arrival. Had to ask multiple times for things like a room key for example, or to have the chirping smoked detector fixed. The single supplement fee is outrageous. the food is plentiful but just ok.

I would recomend Sail Croatia as an amazing way to see the beautiful islands. Our cycling guides Marin and Johnny were great, providing support and informative facts throughout the trip, with our safety as a priority. The staff on the Emmanuel looked after us very well, excellent food and very clean cabins. My only disappointment was the uncomfortable mattress.

Our trip could not have been better! The Princess Diana is a beautiful boat perfectly set up for navigating port to port and biking. Our cabin was comfortable with all the amenities needed though most of our time was spent in the salon, on deck, or biking. We cannot say enough about our tour guides Ivica and Ana. Safety of the riders was always top of mind. Ivica knows the islands intimately and he planned rides with stops for great photos, a swim and coffee or ice cream. Ana’s knowledge of the islands’ history is impressive and her clever antidotes and “myths” entertained us. Chef is a master and the food delicious. Tea and Danny were engaging and professional and took time to explain each dish. Especially memorable was the Captain’s Dinner! The Captain and crew were amazing, getting us to port on time and in a favorable location. We enjoyed watching the docking maneuvers…great team work! The ideal weather and our new biking friends made the entire week perfect.

Great time away, food was not to my liking and very bland especially the soups. Mash potato was like slop on plate meat stew very tough. Coffee not nice all agreed bought my own and it went missing. Toilet paper should be filled properly at all times as only little was put in and we kept running out along with others. No ware to sit when weather was so bad as only 4 seats by bar all tables were played straight after breakfast. Breakfast: nothing left one morning at 7.45 when breakfast should have been until 8.30. Plates taken when we were still eating at breakfast meats and cheese removed so fast not time to eat, most days they had breakfast cleared down before 8.15 making many of us feeling rushed and not able to eat what we wanted for our breakfast. The crew were very nice . Would have liked the bikes we paid for to have been available when we were not on ride so we could explore. Felt the whole week centred around them not us.

This was our first visit to Croatia and we loved every minute of it! We had regular bikes and found the rides challenging at times with the 'rolling hills' but so worth it for the views! Beautiful villages, coastline and crystal clear water! The tour guides, Tonka, Matilda and Elena were superb and the crew on board The Emanuel were very attentive and kind, especially Christina! Everything ran so smoothly, and for the first cruise of the season, the weather was fantastic! Made lots of new friends and had a good laugh with like-minded travellers from across the globe! Croatia definitely stole my heart!

From our cycling guides to the boat's crew to the food everything couldn't have been better. Our daily cycling had enough flexibility for those who wanted to go from point A to point B quickly could do so and those who wanted to stop and take photos could. The rides were broken up with coffee/rest stops such that there was a relaxed rather than hurry-up feeling I'd experienced on other cycling vacations. I wasn't sure how I felt about cycling in the morning rather than part morning, part afternoon with a lunch stop but I actually preferred it to other schedules. Breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold options and I never expected a 3 course lunch each day. The late April water was too cold for me to do more than a quick jump in and out but having the streets and small villages to ourselves was preferable to later in the season and having to avoid crowds. It was a wonderful experience.

Holiday of a lifetime on a cycling cruise on board the ship Princeza Diana doing the Split return South route. Stunning boat. Very large cabins , spotless en suite , cleaned daily. Fantastic cycling guides Ana and Srjan who looked after us and talked about the history of each island. Took in amazing views, great for photo opportunities. The daily swim stops were incredible , highlight of the trip for me. Beautiful crystal clear water. Swam off the boat. Excellent food and top class hospitality from the whole crew. Good value for money. I am booking again for next year to do a hiking cruise. This is a must do trip for anyone wanting to see Croatia !!!

It was a great trip. Food was great, scenery, bikes were comfortable. Weather was fantastic for 6 out of the 7days Confirm your checkout time before you make your travel plans after your cruise. We understood checkout was 10am, therefore booked our bus to Dubrovnik for 1230pm then were told checkout was 8am. Cost us extra money for late rescheduling of our bus times to an earlier time. Our only complaint though

The islands are so beautiful. We loved everyone of them. The cycling was perfect for all of us - from beginner to advanced - we all handled it well. This is definitely the best of Croatia.

The trip was very well organized. We were updated daily on how the day would go and than also sent all the info on Whatsapp. Everything was above and beyond my expectations even though we had to change plans a few times. Our bike guide Marin was amazing. He is so very knowledgeable and made us feel very safe riding in some dangerous locations. It felt like We all respected him right from the moment we heard him speak. Ilona was the back guide and she is a sweet, caring girl who was always so helpful and supportive. She was always making sure everyone was doing ok and she was great to hang with the group and get to know everyone. This was a trip i won’t forget and i will definitely be recommending to friends.

We had an excellent time on our 7 day Dubrovnik to Split bike tour. J and Anna, our bike guides, were kind, friendly, and helpful. Safety was always a priority on our rides. We had a few spicy weather days and J made accommodations to ensure both fun and safety. The servers on board were always cheerful and ready to please! This was a wonderful balance of exercise, educational experiences and relaxation. The guides were wonderful with providing an experience that was enjoyed by all and were able to adapt to the changing weather conditions and keep us informed. Our 14 year old enjoyed the trip too. The ride was harder than what we expected, but we enjoyed the challenge of the hills and there was an option to upgrade to the E-bike.

Provide daily written out itinerary for people to actually read what times and where things were going on. Have an intercom (overhead speaker) so people can be alerted of pertinent info for all passengers. Verbal daily communication from guide was poor on daily activities. Cycle times need to be longer with less “coffee” breaks (30 min ride, 45 min stop) Our guide, was rude. Our other guide, Mario, was great. Overall, first impression of accommodations found that a bed overhead light was broken with wires exposed, safe didn’t work, tight quarters and air conditioning was poor, Reported broken light immediately and it was repaired.. Safe reported not working, told how to use by crew, but those instructions didn’t work….finally found written safe instructions on top shelf (which we couldn’t see beforehand) and was able to get the safe working on our own.. Food was ok. Bikes were outstanding quality….so good, I’m considering purchasing that brand. Swim stops were great.

This is a must do trip,a great way to combine abit of exercise and to explore Croatia. The two guides Marin and Josip were excellent very knowledgeable and nothing was a problem. Everyday they explained the plan for the next day so you always knew what was happening. They also gave recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing at the port stops. So stop thinking about it and book as sometimes life and circumstances can change. Thanks for a great week.

Great staff. Bike routes well laid out and planned with interesting stops for swimming and cafes to get a delicious cup of coffee. Bikes were well maintained and very easy to ride. Any problems that did arise were handled quickly. Breakfast was great with a nice variety of food to choose from. Coffee not so good, needs improvement. Could purchase cappuccino on board which was good. Lunch definitely needs improvement. Most times it was cold. Soup was watery. Desserts were delicious. No on board safety protocols. We didn’t realize until third day into trip that life vests were under our bed. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Our guides, Marin and Josip, were outstanding! They provided detailed information about each day's cycling route and the history about each island we visited. They were always available to answer any questions/address any concerns. Both guys were so passionate about their job, and they had such a great sense of humor. In addition, the rest of the crew was fabulous, also. We mainly interacted with Bruno, the bartender, dining room host, and server. He also did an outstanding job taking care of all of us. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an active vacation!

My family and I, all adults, enjoyed a fabulous time aboard the Mali Ante just recently during the week of September 13 - 20th, 2025. The captain and his crew took exceptional care of us throughout the week. Ivica and Sasa were our terrific personable and gracious cycling and social convenors. The chef made delicious meals and offered non-meat food options for me, Mario provided excellent service in the dining room and salon. Our tour guides were Ana and Marin. Our guides were awesome – they knew so much of the history of Croatia and shared it freely. The food on the boat was OK. The breakfast buffet was really good; lunch was hit and miss but mostly good. Some people found the lunches not quite enough food if you are a big eater. Drink prices on the boat were really reasonable. Would ask that you recommend the e-bike option for everyone as there was a lot of waiting for the manual bikes as some of the hills on the islands are no joke. A water bottle holder would be nice on the bikes. Would recommend the cycling jersey be included in the package. It would be great advertising for you. To charge $70 for a cycling jersey after you have spent over $2000 USD seemed excessive. Loved that our captain Martin was very safety conscious even if it meant we didn’t always get a swim stop as the seas were too rough. Our bike guide Marin also was very safety conscious which was great to ensure we completed

This was my first time to Croatia and my daughter and I spent our first week on the Sale Croatia boat, the Princesa Diana. This was a pretty remarkable time. They have figured out everything you need for a great cruise. You sail from Island to Island, bike in the morning, swim in the afternoon and make some great friends. If you’re not comfortable biking longer distances, definitely choose the E bike The food and company is terrific. I saw more of Croatia than I ever would have done on my own. I highly recommend this company.

I went on the Sail Croatia cycle cruise (Dubrovnik to Split) in June/July 2025 with my immediate family. Despite the heat, we had a marvelous time. The biking aspect was well-organized and our guides, Miranda and Matilda, were full of information and stories about our cycling routes and destinations. They were so much fun! The crew (apologies for lack of the correct Croatian letters on my keyboard), Toncii, Halim, Dinko, Zdravko, and our Captain Ivan, made the trip smooth and enjoyable. Superb trip, so well looked after by all the crew and our wonderful guides Miranda and Matilda. When they said e bikes were powerful , too true. No hill however steep was an issue! Worth paying the extra for e-bike as it made cycling in the heat pleasurable. Also worth paying extra for cabin up top. Travelling with my sister in law , we had plenty of space and bathroom was fine. Food was tasty and there was always tea, coffee and water available . I was on the Afrodita Sail Croatia 2nd-9th June 2025. The trip was fabulous. Brilliantly stunning scenery every day, rides varied but always such fun. Wonderfully led by the excellent Ivan and Lucija they just made the whole experience so much more fun. Some lovely beach stops along the way and even on occasion some free time to ourselves on the bikes to explore. We really enjoyed cycling the Croatian Islands and our knowledgeable guides shared many interesting details about the history and culture of Croatia. We did two trips, Split Northern return and the Split South to Dubrovnik. Both were fantastic trips and different in their own way. Tonka and Lola guided our first journey and did a great job of supporting us on our old school pedal bikes. Marin and Karlo were our second set of guides and once again provided excellent support for what was our first e-bike experience. The Sail Croatia ships (Mali Ante and Columbo) were both comfortable and are staffed by an amazing crew. The captain and crew's hard work and dedication is reflected in the pristine condition of the ships. The food for both cruises was delicious and plentiful. We did a Sail Croatia cycle tour in 2018 and enjoyed it so much we came back.! This second adventure exceeded our expectations and left us with some wonderful holiday memories.

My entire family loved cruising from one beautiful Croatian island to the next and touring around each stop on e-bikes. We got to see much more of each island than if we had hiked or just stayed overnight in each port town/city. The crew & guides are lovely people: professional, friendly & kind. Took this trip with my family as a last hurrah before my sister gets married. It was everything and more I could have hoped for! I truly believe it was the best way to see Croatia. We did the cycling cruise and visited so many incredible places on the islands we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. What an amazing experience - see more of the real Croatia away from tourist ports!. Our tour leaders were fantastic. Ivica was so knowledgeable about the islands and history and always very aware for our safety. Calhum and his tales and folklore of each town… and of course the best music choice! The whole crew - so attentive to all our needs. Azra and Ino cooked up amazing food and great desserts. Keno always had a smile as he welcomed us to breakfast and served up our drinks. The captain Mate and Ilya- excellent boatman and of course captain Mate’s boat was beautiful and well maintained. Very modern bathrooms with great hot water! My one word of VERY important advice - get the e-bike!!! Especially with loop! Can’t wait for the next one!

This was my first time on Sail Croatia cycling cruise, and it far exceeded anything I Imagined, The cycling routes were stunning, with breathtaking vistas. Immersed in the scent of lavender and rosemary along the way, and the olive groves lining the landscape.. What truly made the trip exceptional were the two cycling guides, Ivica and Anita. Their skill and attention to saftey helped me feel completely at ease. Ivica went beyond expectations with optional bonus rides and hikes. His deep knowledge of the area's routes and history added an unexpected layer of richness to the experience. Anita's warmth and knowledge of history and restaurant recommendations made them a great duo. The crew of the Mall Ante were warm, attentive and made us feel completely taken care of. I felt like part of the family. I already have reccomended Sail Croatia and I just got back two days ago. Thank you to everyone who made my solo trip the first of many cycling trips to come.

The boat “ Mali Anti “ was more comfortable and larger than I expected. My cabin was large with wardrobe and cupboard space again more than I am used to on smaller boats . The shower and bathroom was clean and functional . The Crew were always around to help , immaculate in serving us and attending all our needs . The food was enjoyable and plenty bearing in mind we were cycling every day . I met many new friends and had a fun time which was again above my expectations. The crew who took us on our cycle trips , Ivica and Anita were brilliant. Helped us all from flat tyres repair , advice on restaurants, bars.interesting stories of the history of all the locations and islands they took us to . They made us safe and looked after us making the whole week just perfect The islands were stunning , cycling through beautiful villages , vineyards and deserved coffee stops meant I had such a fabulous holiday I am back home for 2 days and have booked again for next year!

Three reasons to go. Boat: Gorgeous comfy boat and cabin with such beautiful wood work with lots of places for the guests to spread out and relax. Bike: Awesome bike riding through all terrain with a close up view of each island. I am not a big bike rider but an relatively fit so found the rides enjoyably challenging. Never felt rushed. Ebikers went ahead and classic bikes hung back and paced themselves. And the food! Being a vegetarian I did not want to get my hopes up but boy did they impress me. Incredibly well prepared food. And with all the biking I had an appetite that was well satisfied. And consider yourself blessed if you get Ivan and Marin as your guides. Those guys took such good care of everyone - especially me being the only solo guest. And Marvin's historical briefings for each island was something I looked forward to each day! I felt that while the guides did an exemplary job. The large number of cyclists (29) in the group was dangerous. The group should have been split into two. Complimentary tea and coffee while on board would have been appreciated. Other cycling tours we’ve been on gave out water bottles which are fun to have and a source of advertising for the company.

This holiday was a total knock out and far exceeded my expectations. Our two guides, Marin and Mila, were fantastic. They are both passionate about: cycling, Croatian history and maintaining the authentic side of Croatia. Both had safety top of their list - even adapting rides for me as I am afraid of heights. We traveled with family and friends - everyone had a connection to at least one other person and my sister - the organizer - had done a cruise on the Mali Ante the year before, so certainly all of that familiarity contributed, but the trip was just a wonderful combination of exercise, relaxation, wonderful people, perfect weather and idyllic destinations. I don't remember ever being that relaxed and content.

Most tourists to the Dalmatian islands most likely never make it past the coast and beaches. Yes, that area is stunning on most every island. But… seeing the interior of the island is equally as beautiful. Stone farmhouses nestled among vineyards and olive trees. Churches, Everyday life for the inhabitants. I am so glad I had the opportunity. But I won’t kid you… while it is beautiful, the hills are challenging! I was not prepared for how hard a 20 mile ride would be! Make sure you reserve an e-bike if you are the least bit uncertain. I would do this tour again. Absolutely. The crew was wonderful, the guides caring and amazing, the food on ship was great, and the ports we visited were everything and more than I expected. Totally worth it and I was sad when it was time to disembark the ship. : (

This was our first cycling trip and everything went smoothly. The ship was clean, the crew professional, and the bikes were excellent Our guides were outstanding. Mila and Marija were not just cycling guides but historians and helpful in every way. We were a group of 32 older folks, 50+ in age and they were able educate us, motivate us when we saw those big hills and narrow winding roads. They offered good suggestions for cafes, little known pieces of information about the villages and kept us all happy and safe. Highly recommend this route too as we got to see the most amazing scenery along the coast.

The 8-day sail and cycle cruise was excellent from beginning to end. All information communication, both on the website and in person, was clear and informative. Our guides, crew, and chef were friendly, fun, and helpful. The food was delicious. For breakfast, we had a great choice of food, and lunch and/or dinner were three courses. The bikes were well-maintained and great to ride. The riding was mostly on the road, with a guide in front and back. The guides were very experienced and safety conscious and made the experience personal. Hope to be returning to do another.

I had an incredible experience on the Emanuel ship during the Split to Dubrovnik cycle tour. The crew were top notch - always willing to answer the many questions the guests had, Very courteous and patient. We were treated so well and we were fed delicious food. The cycling portion was so fun. Our Lead Representative and Bike Tour leader, Dora, was excellent at providing information to us throughout the day regarding the bike routes, the timing of various stops along the way, and other useful information. Her local knowledge was particularly helpful when we were in the various ports. She kept us up to date on any schedule changes so that we were always in the know. Andro was our other Representative and Bike Tour Sub-leader and he was very knowledgeable about Croatian history, sharing information about each island we visited. He was always willing to answer questions from the group and help in any way he could. The boat was very comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend.

This was my second leg of a 2 week trip. First of all, I can't thank Captain Ivan for a superb trip! He was very prompt and got us to our destinations with time to spare. The bikes were on and off the boat in 5 minutes and he got the best docking spots! Ivika and Marija were a great team. Every morning, Ivica did a briefing with an interactive map and his #1 concern was that we all were safe and together. The both made sure we saw everything that there was too see! Beyond fabulous! The food was fresh and delicious and the crew were very friendly and helpful. Olga & Paula were very attentive to all the guests and went out of their way to satisfy everyone's needs. The rooms were spacious and spotless. In conclusion, this crew was including guides were an outstanding team and I am doing this again next year for 2 weeks!

Croatia is beautiful,, the guides were great and the boat was very clean. Food was good and there’s plenty of it!! Don’t be put off by the slightly cheaper rooms below deck. They have better sound proofing as some of the ports can be quite noisy.. There was a concert one night on the pier and I didn’t hear it in my cabin. Pack light as there’s not much storage. The cabins below deck could benefit from some extra hooks and shelves. A fantastic trip overall.

The crew on the Mali Luka were the the most gracious bunch of folks. They all worked so hard to make our trip enjoyable and fun! Dora and Anita were our guides. They kept us safe and together. Everywhere we visited on the bikes or by foot, they have us a bit of history about the region. The captain Ivan was a very capable and friendly guy. He got us everywhere we needed to be and was always on time. Olga and Paula were the most hardworking, friendly and courteous woman always ready to help you out with anything you needed. The rides everyday were safe and fun with some elevation. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a little adventure! I'm doing 2 weeks and it's been fantastic

Our Boat, Emanuel, was a top notch boat. It is an older boat that was beautifully restored and had a great crew and Captain. I loved that it was a family run boat and there was a lot of pride in taking are of it. Emanuel was spotless, had a hard working, friendly crew and timely wonderful meals. Our guides were spectacular and very attentive. I loved riding my e-bike daily through the beautiful islands of the Adriatic Sea. Our guide was very clear each day about the length and difficulty of the rides. I felt so comfortable that it was hard to leave. All in all, it was one of my favorite trips. Thank you Emanual!!

The daily cycling routes through the beautiful Croatian islands and countrysides were incredible. Sailing to each island was a relaxing and wonderful experience. seeing all the beautiful sights of Croatia was amazing and the ebike made it all possible. I would have loved a little book/hand out of our bike paths and information about the culture in each area-It's not easy to remember everything the guides tell us. The room did smell a bit which was unpleasant and I wish we could've opened the windows. I wish we had more leisure time to explore the little towns. My husband, siblings and I went on a sailing biking cruise to celebrate. We all bike ride at different riding abilities, and, prior to the trip, some of us were wondering about whether or not we could keep up with our fittest siblings and their spouses. Happy to say that with the option of riding the e-bikes, we all did well! Having a bike ride every day kept me feeling healthy during my vacation. The ship food was good, their coffee, excellent, and I liked not having to spend an additional 30 Euros to cover the cost of breakfast and lunch each day. During the cocktail and dinner hour, we were able to explore the villages and try the local food which was delicious! In terms of learning about a new part of the world, I had never considered visiting a country by bike. After riding through the small Croatian villages and mountains and having leisure time to explore the port towns and cities, I feel I know Croatia more intimately than I do other places I have visited!

Great trip and experience and unique way to see all that Croatia and the Islands offer. The food onboard was generous and fresh and satisfying. The routes were gorgeous with views you can't beat. Pros- Kind and knowledgeable guides, beautiful routes, plentiful food Cons- the room was not clean with belongings left in the cabinets from other passengers (staff?). There was a horrendous smell of sewage that made the toilet/shower in the room difficult to use. I've sailed on boats in the past and never experienced an odor like that in the past. There was hair left on the floors in the room and bathroom. Time at night on the islands was limited as one night they said we would be docked too far back which kept us from access to the main port (well over 1 mi walk over rocky and dark terrain). Changed itinerary due to weather prevented advertised bay swims and less time to enjoy ports. I often felt we has a short time to see sights (less than 30 minutes most days).

When you travel and are doing rigorous exercise everyday in the heat more than a two towel per week seems necessary. Also the towels were all very old. The bedding needs more frequent changing. The bike ride difficulty needs more specific disclosure. Three hours in the saddle is a long time. Provide beach towels, more fresh vegetables. Also snacks for long hard rides, the riders without e bikes could have used it.

The beauty of the Croatian islands and the extreme clarity of the surrounding waters are well-known. What made this holiday so outstanding was the easy access it provided to all this beauty. We were taken to such perfect locations, enabled to swim in the stunning blue depths of the open sea, handed great bikes to explore with and guided to all the ‘best bits’. We did the cycle cruise last year and really enjoyed it, so we booked again for this year. I didn't think there was much to improve on but I was wrong. We had a great time cycling the Dalmatian Islands with the Mali Ante crew. Our guides Mila and Miranda provided great historical information about the towns and were very fun to ride with. The onboard crew was wonderful as well, taking care of our rooms and providing great food. We even got them to dance with us on the night of Captain's dinner. The only recommendation I have is to consider an eBike. I'm a cyclist at home, but was happy to have an eBike to get over those beautiful (but steep!) hills.

The 7 day cycle cruise was the best way to experience the real Croatia. Being able to choose the e-bike option allowed me to relax to the fullest in the hot summer heat and enjoy the fabulous smells of Croatian islands. Smelling the native rosemary fields and the sulfur from the vineyards was unlike anything I’ve experienced on my rides before. The guides were knowledgeable and gave historical context of the islands we traveled. It was a great balance of busy nightlife islands and chill and relaxed islands once frequented by the aristocracy. As a solo traveler it was a good way to safely see the country (though Croatia is far from dangerous) while meeting like-minded folks. Great job Mali Ante guides and crew! I will definitely consider another route next summer and convince friends to join!! Great value for your money all around!

I had the best week on the Mali Ante enjoying 7 days cruising from Split to Dubrovnik. The tour is extremely well planned from every aspect. The e-bikes were fantastic and easy to operate, the cycling routes were varied interesting and with spectacular scenery, there was time fi swimming, relaxing and sightseeing too. Meals on the boat were amazing - really fresh, plentiful and tasty lunches, breakfasts and some dinners also included. My cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable. The crew were really professional, kind and committed to ensuring everyone had a great time. Our tour guides Miranda and Mila were exceptional. Both were so engaging, knowledgeable and had a great sense of fun and humour. Mila’s almost encyclopaedic knowledge of Croatian history was really impressive and she delivered the information in the most engaging and interesting way. Our group was a lot of fun to travel with - couples, groups and solos from Australia, Canada, USA & the UK.

This trip was fantastic. Neither of us had ever been on a boat overnight, and it was my first cycle trip ever but it was such a positive, safe, enjoyable experience. The cabins were charming and had their own bathrooms, which made our stay on the boat very relaxing and easy. The cycle trips, lunch and dinner outings on the islands we so well-organized by our lovely guides Ivan and Lola. They made reservations for activities and did a wonderful job of directing us as we cycled through all the beautiful little towns we visited. Socially it was also a great experience. Our group got along great, and it was friendly to solo travelers who mingled easily amongst the couples and friend groups on the boat. The crew are extremely polite and hardworking. These young men are hoisting heavy e-bikes on and off the boat, serving food, pouring drinks, shuffling the boat in an out of port as the harbor master requires. I was blown away by their work ethic. My only comment for improvement was the food.

I had a great time on this trip. The crew and the guides did everything under their control to ensure everyone had fun, was safe, and was taken on care of. Each and every stop was a beautiful location. The bikes rides were gorgeous. I would strongly recommend getting an e-bike unless you enjoy hill climbing and are good at it. Some of the hills were killer but the views at the stop were spectacular and well worth the effort. Croatia is a beautiful country and the people were welcoming. I would highly recommend a cycle and sail trip with Sail Croatia!

This was my 3rd trip with sail Croatia. Split-Dubrovnik. It did not disappoint Travelled with family & friend. After some minor issue at booking with cabin allocation. Swiftly sorted. Despite the bad weather for early part of the week we had a great time. The itinary was changed slightly due to weather conditions & guest safety. Marin & Ivan did their very best to ensure alternative sight seeing trips were available to accommodate this. The cycling was challenging enough for those on hybrid bikes. Captain & crew really friendly. Boat was clean. Food plentiful. If there was anything I would change.. please maybe longer circular cycling routes rather than there & back.. we were a larger group of 30 but safety was second to none. A massive thank you to Marin & Ivan for their friendliness, and showing us some stunning places. And providing us with great laughs. WE made some lovely friends and great memories. Would highly recommend sail Croatia 🙂

The staff, leaders,cooks, waiters ,captain. They were all so helpful friendly and fun to be with. The cabins were gorgeous. The ship is beautiful. We had dreadful weather for a few days which curtailed our itinerary, but the leaders Nina and Ivitse made sure we could get out and enjoy the rides and see the interesting parts of the islands. The crew and people on the boat were lovely . I guess it can work either way when you are spending so long long in a boat with people but I was lucky . The tour guide was very friendly and inclusive and knowledgable and I was secretly a bit love struck by his intelligence and beauty! The activity leader was supportive of my inexperience on a bike and a lovely bloke . The food was plentiful ,tasty and I believe the cook presented us with regional dishes at times.. The boat was beautifully crafted . Had a simple authentic crafted look - not too modern or flashy . The bike riding was liberating , magical and I saw so so much wonderful scenery . The islands and towns are beautiful . I had an e-bike so at the age of 63 I still had the joy of riding without the feeling of being out of my comfort zone . A truly memorable experience . Hvala

My husband and brother and sister in law and myself spent a lovely week on board the Emanuel cycling some of the islands of Croatia. The staff was outstanding, food delicious, company perfect, cycling routes fun and we met wonderful folks while on board. The weather varied from some rain, wind and beautiful sun but it did not stop us from anything ( although we did not go to an outer island for safety reasons) I would highly recommend this trip to all. If you are even considering this sail/cycle cruise do not hesitate. One of the best vacations our family of 3 has ever taken! An amazing way to experience Croatia up close and personal. Andre and Marija our guides were professional, very personable and worked incredibly hard to keep everyone happy. Along the way we went wine tasting, visited a local bee keeper, found hidden beaches for swimming, coffee breaks at seaside cafes, a group dinner at a local restaurant, off the path historical sites like Tito's underground tunnels, a national park and so much more. The boat itself, the Milena, was run well by captain Ivan and small crew. Our bartender Antonio was AMAZING as we were served well priced drinks that were individually prepared for us throughout our trip. European style breakfast buffet with many choices and multi-course Croatian style (very Mediterranean) lunches that were prepared with local seafood and meat that left us stuffed every day! My week on Milena - cycle cruise was so much fun! It was the correct mix of exercise to accompany the amount of food supplied to you on board! The islands and routes were all stunning and it’s amazing when all the guests get along! The guides were extremely knowledgeable and the barman - Antonio made the tastiest cocktails! I went alone and never felt not included or on the outer!

We've waited for this holiday for 3 years and was well worth the wait. We travelled with 2 teenagers and they both want to do it again. The crew were great and we couldn't have asked for 2 more lovely girls, Dora & Julie as our hosts. They were a lot of fun, very knowledgeable and were always on hand for us. Cycling is definitely the way to see this beautiful coastline. Visiting different islands, with a variety of different level rides. We chose E bikes which I was very relieved about when I saw some of the hills we had to climb. We loved the swim stops, but wish there'd been more. I don't really want to write anything negative as this holiday was fantastic. But, there are a couple. The food on board was quite basic and poor for vegetarians. The only protein for my veggie daughter was at breakfast (eggs & cheese) but there was no protein in any lunch or dinner for her. The cleanliness & maintenance of the cabins could be improved & need larger towels. Still fab & booking for 2023 x

This is a wonderful way to combine cycling, exploring and sailing in one holiday … and definitely exceeded our expectations! We did the cycle cruise from Dubrovnik to Split, with about 3-4 hours cycling each day, a chance to relax in the afternoons and then the opportunity to explore every time we docked. We loved walking around the little villages and small ports. There were 20 on the cycle cruise, including singles, couples and our family of 4. Then there was the crew of 5 and of course the amazing Vania & Nina, our delightful guides who went out of their way to make everything smooth, safe and fun!! The bikes were great, with about 10 people on regular bikes (27 gears) & 10 on e-bikes. Breakfasts included fruit, vegetables, eggs, bacon, cheeses and bread. The 3-course lunch was tasty and very welcome after a morning of cycling. Don’t hesitate to book this wonderful cycle cruise. You will return feeling healthy, refreshed and with new friends !

Great trek leaders - great boat (Afrodita) - great crew - great guests! We were hoping there would be other families with older teens to be with, but there were no age barriers here: the other guests welcomed our kids and they responded with maturity! The cycling was challenging without e-bikes in the extreme heat but everyone was accommodating and encouraging. We swam off the boat a couple of times and found beaches every day which was brilliant. The ship was great- but shade on the sun deck would have made it more useful, as it was too hot to go up there at all. I was surprised that there was no cleaning of bathrooms all week, and no change of towels offered, but the food was abundant and amazing. A drink with main meals (even water!) would have been appreciated. Overall, a wonderful week.

Start to finish the trip was everything we could have asked for. -amazing tour guide -good food -daily swim stops -unbelievable views -down time to explore on your own We would recommend this trip to anyone looking to see Croatia.

Fabulous guide, A brilliant way get out and explore the beautiful Croatian Islands. The ebike made it all a pleasure even in the hills and even in the heat. The crew were great and the other passengers friendly
