We had the most amazing time with Sail Croatia aboard a luxury Katarina yacht. The entire trip was pure perfection from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Our sail Croatia rep - Vicko - was a gold mine of knowledge, suggestions, ideas and plans. Vicko was vital to the success of the entire trip - professional, knowledgeable, fun, great sense of humor and foremost super flexible and accommodating. He is a true gem for Sail Croatia. Our boat and incredible crew led by captain Ivan was exceptional in every aspect. The boat was spotless clean, the cabins were spacious, comfortable and impeccable. The crew was there to support our every request and the food was very scrumptious every time! Cannot wait to be back and Sail Croatia again!!!

A wonderful relaxing cruise on a fantastic boat and in beautiful surroundings. The food was delicious - the only small criticism I have is that there was too much puréed vegetables. It would have been nice to bite into something. I also would have preferred a cool pool on deck instead of a hot tub. I never used this as the weather was great and so why would I want to get even hotter in a hot tub? The crew were fantastic, very friendly and so hard working. All in all it was a fabulous holiday

The ship is very lovely. The mattress a bit soft for my liking and only 1 pillow is provided, which is silly. The company says it provides one beach towel and one bath towel. It also provides one face towel. What it does not say is that they changed your bath and face towel twice during the cruise. They never change your beach towel, and they don’t dry. It’s pretty gross. Beach towels should also be cleaned once or so per week. We use them every day. The daily itinerary should be reversed. We should go out on the islands in the morning and see the sites and have excursions, and come back to the ship in the afternoon for swimming and relaxing. The lunches are big and heavy, and are better suited for dinners. We could have lunch on our own on the island and dinner on the ship. The staff is amazing Truly helpful and accommodating. Coffee/tea/softdrinks should be included in the overall pricing. I would rather you charge a little bit more upfront and include those things

We recently traveled on a Sail Croatia Elegance Cruise aboard the luxury vessel Katarina from Split to Dubrovnik in late September/early October. The onboard experience exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional—fresh, delicious & high quality. The drinks, boat, staff, captain, crew & our Sail Croatia guide were phenomenal & went above & beyond. Our only disappointment was Sail Croatia’s back-office itinerary planning. We spent an afternoon & evening in Vela Luka, only to find the town essentially closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were closed, there was little to do & no taxis or boats were available to reach nearby beaches. For a luxury cruise, seasonal closures should be considered when planning late-season itineraries. Another stop or extra time in Dubrovnik would have been a much better option. Katarina & the onboard experience were exceptional. We only wish the itinerary had matched the same high standard.

The staff on the Esperanza Elegance Tour went above and beyond to keep everyone comfortable and happy. The captain chose the most beautiful calm places for our daily swims and made the best of the day we could not go into our designated port due to weather. The food was great and the chef was so accommodating to everyone's dietary restrictions/preferences. Most importantly the people we met were the absolute best and we hung out together in Dubrovnik even after the cruise ended. We made some lifetime friends we hope to travel with more in the future!

Wonderful. The boat was very clean and well fitted out. Loved the set-up of the upper deck where there was different areas so it made it cosy. Plenty of other areas to sit or sunbathe. Our time on the Romantic Star was great. The crew and our tour guide were great and very helpful. It would be helpful if they published better details about the daily flow of their cruises to help manage expectations about time on the boat vs exploring the various port locations. For example you dock in each port overnight and the yacht moves in the morning to the next location with a swim stop each morning. You dock at the next port during lunch and then explore tge port during the hottest part of the day and into the night. Breakfast Buffett was varied and solid. Lunches were not great and the biggest miss for my group.

We had a wonderful experience aboard the Katarina and can’t say enough positive things about our Sail Croatia cruise. The ship was beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained, and the crew made our time onboard so enjoyable. The itinerary was excellent, and we especially loved the swim stops in the beautiful clear waters — definitely a highlight of the trip! Our guide, Dino, was outstanding. He was friendly, informative, extremely organized and always available to help. We always knew what was happening because Dino consistently provided information when promised. He went above and beyond, always with a smile on his face. Between the Katarina, the destinations, swim stops, wonderful crew and Dino, this was a truly memorable way to experience Croatia. Had a great time! Beautiful scenery, fun swim stops and interesting walking tours. Vedran was our tour manager and was excellent. Food was great and huge quantities. All of the staff were great- Lucy, Pamela, and the Joseph’s. Rooms were bigger than expected, quiet, and AC worked great. Only downside- not enough places to hang wet things. Our group was very compatible with people from US, New Zealand, Australia, Tasmania, and Cypress. I thought the walking tours were excellent. We will recommend this cruise and the company to all of our friends.

We recently completed a Sail Croatia trip from Dubrovnik to Split aboard the Katarina, and it exceeded every expectation. You can immediately feel the pride and care the crew puts into everything—from maintaining the ship to taking incredible care of all 36 guests. Traveling with a group of family & friends, the intimate setup made it easy to connect with everyone on board while still enjoying plenty of space. We met wonderful people, had fabulous food and the itinerary was fantastic, stopping at Mljet, Korčula, Vis, Hvar, and Milna. Our tour manager, Dino, was exceptional—keeping us well-informed about every destination and seamlessly booking our island excursions and dinner reservations. The absolute highlight was the daily morning swims and paddleboarding straight off the back of the ship in the crystal-clear Adriatic. The cruise on board the Esperanza was a great cruise. The staff was wonderful. The staff and our group of friends got along wonderfully. The food was delicious. But, I would have loved a cup of real coffee instead of instant coffee from a machine. Dino arranged a fishing expedition for us to enjoy. Ivo and Mio kept the drinks flowing and were always smiling. My cabin was refreshed daily. The comfort on the boat in the social areas was nice but there were a few issues that I would like to mention. While there was a blow dryer for drying our hair, the blow dryers lacked power. There was an electric outlet in the sleeping area of the cabin but there was no mirror. A mirror would have been nice for makeup application too. Also the closet did not give us the option to hang anything longer than a shirt. My dresses couldn’t hang long. There was not enough drawer storage at all! Towels were treated like a precious commodity and not refreshed unless asked for. Not true luxury

Our trip with Sail Croatia was better than we ever could have imagined. Every single detail was perfect and incredible from the ambience and elegance of the yacht itself to the unbelievable staff. Within a day, the staff knew all our names, room numbers, and dietary needs. Dietary needs were treated seamlessly and substitutions were made with equally delicious food. The food was beyond belief with gourmet meals for every lunch comparable to the highest class restaurant. Again, all due to a magnificent staff, who had become friends in just a couple days. In addition to the meals, they were constantly cleaning, polishing, preparing swim stops for us, and attending to every need. Our tour guide for the week made our trip the best ever with presentations, recommendations, immediate answers to questions, and 24 hour availability and support. Klara’s sense of humor, knowledge, and genuine care for her passengers made the trip perfect in every way.

I was on the "Elegant" cruise on Romantic Star. If you request non-dairy, I hope you like boiled potatoes. If you're paying a single supplement, prepare to be disappointed. At about $5000 for 1 week I expected more than The Annoyed Server, The Angry Sous Chef, and The Bar Tender from Jeers. This is a bad trip for solos and even worse for onesies who don't drink much. I am not a foodie but found most meals weird and unpalatable, especially the village dinner. This has nothing to do with the ethnicity of the cuisine. The trip revolved around couples and wine tasting. Even though I have traveled solo many times and I was with a dozen other friends, I still felt blue from time to time as did some other solo travelers there. One of the perks of i and travel, which of this was not, is that staff learns your name caters to you on some level, and asks if you like, the food. Our tour manager Anita was a rock star. But could not make up for the disinterested staff and lackluster staff.

The yacht was beautiful but the crew did not seem happy to be there. There were no smiles from the crew members and very little interaction with the guests. One sailor paid no attention to guests even when spoken to directly. The cruise director was somewhat confusing in discussing the next days itinerary. Swim stops were beautiful. More and newer swim toys would have been appreciated. Noodles were crumbling and breaking. On the plus side, the food was amazing and beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef and sous chef. The ships air conditioning was not adequate for the hot temperatures at night. Many had trouble sleeping as the a/c was turned off. The Captain's dinner could only be described as "sweaty". Transfers were well handled. Overall I had a good time with a great group of travelers.

We have been all over the world and had some amazing experiences from dogsledding in Alaska, riding the Rocky Mountaineer through Canada and walking the Camino through Spain but nothing will ever top this cruise. Our cruise holiday was idyllic from every standpoint! The Olimp luxury yacht offered a most unique cruise experience which felt very singular. We were indulged with a daily dip in the Adriatic’s crystalline and refreshing waters in tiny private coves where we could swim, snorkel or paddle board. It was a true highlight! I sailed on the Esperanza on the route Split Return South. For travelers who enjoy yacht living, Sail Croatia offers a great combination of onboard pampering and daily water activities plus land sightseeing. The Dalmatian coast offers beautiful vistas and calm waters in the islands. Each stop offered different experiences from hiking to the Mjlet “lakes” to sitting on the Hvar promenade and people watching, to shopping, learning history, and museum going in Split, Dubrovnik and Korcula.

My husband and I traveled to Croatia ,to see the country of my maternal grandparents. It was an incredible experience! The people of Croatia are helpful and welcoming. Many people speak excellent English which helps when asking for directions. The cities we visited were easily accessible along the Croatian coastline. There were some places that were challenging to access, due to stairs. We were able to climb at our own pace. The small ship, Olimp, was lovely, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the fact that if I was tired, or the weather was too hot, I could return to the ship and relax . After breakfast, we swam in a small cove everyday. What made the trip even more enjoyable, was meeting fellow passengers from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States. I absolutely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to experience Croatia.

I booked the trip because Croatia was on my bucket list and they were waiving the single supplement on a few sailings. We were a small group which made it a more intimate experience. My cabin was spacious and very comfortable. Our cruise director Lola was a dream. Very organized, kind and patient. The crew performed their jobs invisibly. The ports were all interesting but my favorite was the daily swim stops. Jump into the Adriatic sea and swim for an hour! The cruise was incredibly relaxing! The chef did a stellar job feeding us a healthy Mediterranean diet with decadent desserts.Can't recommend this trip enough!

Absolutely exceeded expectations! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our Sail Croatia trip was even better than I imagined — and my expectations were already very high! The crew were energetic, friendly and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. The perfect mix of adventure, history, beautiful Croatian towns and those incredible swim stops. With the extreme heat, I would have happily had even more swim stops! Katarina was a beautiful boat and a real credit to the owner and crew, who worked constantly to keep her looking so well cared for. But what truly made the trip special was the people. We met such a wonderful group and shared so many laughs and memories. And our host ‘V’ was fantastic — his humour, energy and love for Croatia were infectious. The elegance Katerina cruise was definitely one of our favorite trips. The crew was amazing! Our trip on board the Katarina was much more than we had imagined! The boat was so comfortable with lots of space to spread out or cozy when you wanted to be with others. Every aspect of this holiday is great - the crew, the itinerary, the food , the relaxation around the secluded swim areas and the differing coastline destination culture & vibe. We were incredibly fortunate to have a great bunch of fellow travellers . Best of all was Dino our lead as he was fantastic in going above and beyond to make special arrangements for my husband who has a lung condition so that he did not miss out on any adventure. The week on the Romantic Star was 5 Star all the way with an excellent, professional crew, outstanding service and delicious food. Every day was curated perfectly and Dino provided complete and helpful communication to provide us the optimal use of our time in each port. The swim stops were heaven. It seemed like every day was more beautiful than the day before. The ship is gorgeous and very well taken care of and clean. Captain Ivan runs a tight ship. Some opportunities for improvement. The crew smoked a lot and for the non-smoking guests, it was quite unbearable at times on such a small ship. Second, the swim stop toys need an upgrade. Two of the three float rafts were broken early in the week and not replaced. The snorkel masks are old and foggy. I even bought defogger and they still were unusable. For an elegant cruise, the equipment should be top notch. Thank you for a wonderful trip! I highly recommend and can’t wait to do it again!

We were a group of 5 couples from America. We had the best time! Vedran was the amazing! He was funny and so knowledgeable. He kept us updated on What’s app and made sure we knew so much about each stop. We had flight issues and he stayed up with us till midnight helping us on his laptop. I couldn’t imagine a better tour director. Our captain, Ivan was always around checking on us and we had so much fun with him at the captains dinner. My favorite part of the days were the swim stop. The deck was great at getting us in and out of the water safely. The hardest workers on the ship were Ivana and Carlo. They were always nearby with a drink or asking if there is anything we needed. Also Petra kept our rooms clean each day. This was definitely my favorite vacation and I will probably be back one day.

Being able to sail on the Adriatic and see Croatia from that perspective was an absolutely amazing experience! The entire staff made us feel right at home from the very beginning! Vicko, our rep, was so knowledgeable and entertaining. The swim stops were spectacular, with the crystal clear turquoise water. The ship accommodations were just right for us with a relatively spacious room and plenty of room on the boat to spread out. We loved the smaller ship stops and the planned excursions available to us that were small adventures along the way. Our host and crew were exceptionally nice and helpful in meeting our needs. The only thing missing would be access to the TV aboard the ship.

Amazing Holiday!!! The crew of the Katarina were wonderful! It was a great pace of travel. Morning swim stops never disappointed and were very relaxing. This was one of the best holidays we have ever had and we have travelled a great deal. The cruise incorporated excursions and fit in plenty of relaxation time. Our daily swim stops were my favourite. Dino, our cruise director, provided us with all the information we needed and was such a character, making us all feel comfortable and relaxed. Dino was helpful and nothing was too hard for him to do or assist. The ship crew were fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Was impressed with the Olimp: impeccably maintained, everything gleaming, spick-and-span, and the whole crew were friendly & helpful, and Vedran is a star organiser! Our lunches were all delicious. .The breakfast buffet was sufficient except for the "orange juice" which neither looked nor tasted as if it had been near a real orange. Breakfast was too short, and too early. Should last until at least 10am, Also I'd have liked the option to eat on the outside deck. When at sea who wants to be in an enclosed space.? The highlight of the trip was swimming. But I wanted more & longer swim stops. Most were only 1 hour - not enough to enjoy repeatedly jumping into that gorgeous turquoise sea! I'd have also appreciated more time actually sailing, not moored in a port. The expeditions were at the hottest time of day, so I mostly opted out and relaxed on the ship's cushions in the breeze - that upper deck lounging area was a perfect touch of luxury!

The booking advisers were very helpful and available to talk to on the phone and the process efficient. The cruise along the Dalmation Coast was relaxing and well planned, The boat was very clean, the crew fantastic and excellent meals were served at lunch time. The Cruise director kept us informed of the programme every day by briefings after lunch and information on the WhatsApp group. There was nothing I can fault about this holiday and would recommend it highly

A wonderful combination of relaxation on deck with interesting town visits with guided tours. The boat, Esperanza, was perfect, cabins spacious and excellent facilities. The crew were friendly and very efficient and the chef provided top quality meals. A daily swim in the sea was much appreciated. Dino, our tour rep, kept us informed verbally and by text so we all knew the itinerary for the day. His English was good and he kept us laughing and happy! A great job! The only change would be to have a buffet lunch from 12.00 to 2.00 rather than a 3 course lunch at a set time. Also a bigger TV screen in the salon would help presentations which were very informative. We would certainly recommend Sail Croatia.

As I say unforgettable. From the Luxury of Yacht Olimp, our lovely friendly Captain and his team on board to the islands and destinations of Dubrovnik and Split. The swim stops were lovely and the food in board was excellent. We only had a few hours of daylight at each destination and I would have preferred dinner on board rather than a three course lunch. I would like to either get off the boat and swim or discover the islands more and do more walking. The only issue we had on board was the water heating system was intermittent and you didn’t know if you was going to get a hot or cold shower.

Elegance cruise. ESPERANZA No words can explain how wonderful this cruise was. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us. We travelled with 8 people and the boat only had 20 cruisers. It was like our own private cruise ship. I REALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BAD REVIEWS!!!!!! DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM. THEY ARE KAREN’S!!!!! FOOD: A+ ROOM A DIETARY RESTRICTIONS A+ BOAT CLEANLINESS A+ STAFF A+ DAILY SWIM STOPS A+ COMFORT A+ SUGGESTIONS: Bring a water bottle. They provide a water cooler for you to fill up your water. Bring water shoes if you want to go to the beach, because the beaches are pebbles no sand, and there are sea urchins. They do not provide lifejackets for the swim stops, If you’re not a good swimmer, I bought an inflatable one on Amazon that worked terrific for me to paddleboard. They do not provide blowup water toys so if you want to be floating out in the water, bring your own. Lots of people brought snorkelling gear

From pre-boarding to waiting for different transportation upon departure, the experience was seamless. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with my family and other passengers on the boat. Our cruise manager Dino did amazing with constant and clear communication, being available for anything we needed whenever, and the knowledge and pride in their country to share with all of us. I was the youngest on the group by 40 years yet I still had such a fun time at the swim spots and islands we visited. The food was great, crew did amazing with everything and I was thoroughly comfortable throughout my entire stay. Highly recommend and I will be back with more friends and family in the future!

Sailing with Sail Croatia has been a wonderful experience for my husband and I, and our 2 travelling companions. The cabins are very comfortable, the facilities on Romantic Star are absolutely beautiful, from the comfortable Lounges on the spa deck, the seating on the back deck, the dining room and bar, there are many places to relax and take in the views. The Croatian coast is very beautiful, and each and every town is extremely well set up for tourists, plenty of cafes and restaurants. The Croatian people are very polite and helpful, and very eager to work and make the most of their six month tourism season. The entire experience was excellent.

My husband and I had a fantastic time on this cruise. Croatia is a beautiful country and what a perfect way to see it for first time. A great itinerary - nice mix of organized activity and free time. Swim stops were amazing. Dino and the crew went out of their way to ensure we were safe and well looked after. Dino had recommendations, solutions, ideas, suggestions for everything we could have wanted or needed. The Captain’s dinner and group dinner in Žrnovo village were extra special. The walking tour with Nik in Žrnovo was a fascinating view into traditional village life years ago - we could have listened to him all evening. Terrific food on board! We had a great group of travel companions and left the cruise with new friends and memories for a lifetime.

Our 7 days on Esperanza were wonderful from Karla our tour leader, to our esteemed captain who took us safely to port each day with an eye on the weather and our safety in mind. The breakfasts and lunches each day were delicious with excellent care from the bar/wait staff. The crew members were quick to help and got us docked with minimum fuss and our housekeeper kept our cabins tidied each day. The islands visited were delightful and made one want return one day. Karla gave us excellent information about each port and island and was willing to assist in every way.

Words cannot express the wonderful experience we had on the Sail Croatia Olimp. The people were warm and friendly and went way out of their way to provide top notch service. Our cruise was amazing! Vicko was extraordinary! Always smiling, so friendly & respectful & fun ! His port talks were interesting, he was very knowledgeable about Croatia. He had a great sense of humour and absolutely nothing was a problem! 10/10 The captain George was so friendly & approachable. Always smiling! Our swim stops were brilliant! I loved the way George spoke to us all and made sure we were enjoying our cruise. 10/10 too! We had cabin 1 which was spacious & comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job. Linda at the bar was helpful & obliging organising my gluten free food. She always had a ready smile and really friendly. She’s an asset to the team . The male crew were friendly & chatty which was lovely. Amelie (I think that’s her name) at the bar could be a little terse so I always waited for Linda if I needed anything. Overall I would definitely recommend that particular cruise to friends. I hope Vicko & the other crew I mentioned get credit &recognised for their work

My holiday was legendary. As a solo traveler, I expected to be the mysterious lone wolf on the boat… but the crew and passengers immediately adopted me like a long‑lost cousin. Such a memorable, relaxing vacation. From the beginning to end our cruise director Klara informed us daily what our day will entail. She was very knowledgable of Croatian history which I love. She was smart and yet witty. She definitely loves her job. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Sail Croatia was one of my favorite vacations. Loved being on the water, loved cruising and all the scenery. The daily swim stops and just chilling on the upper deck in the sun. The food was top notch. We sailed on the Romantic Star Wine-Tasting Tour from Dubrovnik to Split and couldn't have asked for a better holiday. The ship was wonderful - spacious rooms, plenty of seating areas in both sun and shade, excellent meals and friendly, professional staff. The wine-tasting experiences were awesome, held in a variety of venues on our various island stops. We also enjoyed the daily swim stops and our freindly fellow passengers. What an absolutely amazing vacation! Sailing on the Olimp, the entire Olimp staff, and our tour director, Vicko, were all so wonderful. The ship itself is stunning and meticulously cared for by the hard-working and kind crew and includes many comfortable places to lounge and take in the view alone or with friends. The service provided by the ship staff is top notch. The food was great and the chef accomodated various dietary requests from the ship's guests. Our itinerary was clearly communicated and detailed destination highlights were provided by our tour director daily, with continuous updates, reminders, and guest questions answered throughout the day; one is always guided with top recommendations for sightseeing and dinners at each stop. It is clear Vicko is well respected by his peers, goes above and beyond, and enjoys what he does, which enhanced the experience for everyone. Very good. Boat was beautiful, so clean and well maintained. Staff were a little aloof but service was good. Rooms and bathrooms very good size. Bar could do with more spirits and a coravin system to avoid serving oxidised wines. Our guide was lovely. Be nice if the captain dressed in uniform and mixed a little. The trip from Dubrovnik to Split was awesome. I have been in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years and I would like to offer some suggestions: -towels need to be dried some way, we had to use them wet. -shower floor is very slippery, you might want to do something. -regular coffee and bread can be better at breakfast. Sweet bread was fine. -Lunch can be better as well. Dessert when made by the lady cook was awesome. she is really good. All the crew offered a fantastic and warm service at all times.. congratulations for that. Ally and Linda worked non stop and the boys as well. Captain was a lot of fun and so friendly and easy going. He did a very good job. Having the boat from Blue Cave take us directly to the ship was a great idea. thank you. Jacuzzi was a little small for a big crowd and we had to take turns. -Dinning room was very noisy during meals. Too many people in a small area. I wish we could extend and eat outside. Great time on the Esperanza for 7 days. Swim stops were relaxing and Capitan Jure always found a calm place to anchor the vessel. The Esperanza was comfortable with lots of places to sit and read, outside or in. Food was delicious and generous servings. Capitan’s Party on the second to last night was just great! Everyone up and dancing, and Capitan Jure and waiters agreed when one of us asked them to dance! We had lots of time to explore the places where we stopped as we sailed short distances each day. Dinner was on our own in the towns The tour director was Dino, and if I could give him 10 stars I would. Absolutely excellent at his job: He always had the answer to our many questions. He was relaxed and made us feel that whatever we needed we would have when it came to the excursions and how things worked on the boat. Dino was fun, kind, and entirely competent. We had a fabulous experience on the Romantic Star. Our Tour Director, Klara, made our trip wonderful. She organized wine tastings on every island. This was a magical way to experience the local culture and their food. We drank wine in bunkers left over from the Yugoslav military and quaint villages that produce everything from wine to meats and cheeses. The food on the ship was inventive and delicious. All of the servers and staff on the boat were friendly attentive. I was also impressed with our stateroom and the space it provided. Our particular tour was a lively bunch from all parts of the world. We thoroughly enjoyed not only what the ship and tours at each stop had to offer, but the company was a welcome surprise! If I could give this cruise a ten I would. This was a trip of a lifetime! The entire crew and our guide Vicko took wonderful care of our entire group. The food cooked by the ship’s chef was delicious and the stops along the way were amazing. We learned a lot about the history of each area and could do as much or as little as we wanted. Everyday we had a swim stop followed by a delicious lunch before docking at that day’s destination. We walked, swam, hiked, biked and also relaxed with afternoon and evening cocktails and local dinners. I always said I would never go on a cruise and if you feel the same this is the one to go on. I highly recommend this trip and the ship we were on, Kraljica Jelena.

Our Sail Croatia trip on the gorgeous Queen Jelena was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped onboard, everything was organized, relaxed, and incredibly fun. The scenery along the Croatian coast was absolutely unreal. Every stop felt like a postcard, with crystal-clear water, beautiful old towns, hidden beaches, and hiking and biking trails. We loved the mix of activities too — swimming stops during the day, exploring islands like Hvar and Korčula, and then great nightlife and dinners both on and off the ship. This was a holiday shared with friends old and new. From the moment of arrival at the Quay to every day on board, excursions and final departure, everything was seamlessly managed. The captain and his boat staff were super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure every request was addressed. The food was excellent, fresh local produce which was beautifully presented and delicious. Amazing from a small kitchen with 2 very dedicated individuals , the chef and his support. The cabins were cleaned thoroughly everyday and the 2 bar staff , Pamela and Luce were brilliant with a good sense of humor. Our Sail Croatia rep Vicko was just fantastic with a great deal of history and local knowledge. He managed to keep us informed, learning about Croatia and laughing the whole trip. His relaxed informal style meant everyone enjoyed chatting with Vicko. The whole trip exceeded expectations.

While the ship (Esperanza) was a bit tired, the crew was amazing. Our tour manager, Dino, was the best. He was so attentive to the guests and responsive to our needs. He had to make several itinerary adjustments due to weather, but still had special events scheduled in most locations. Was truly a trip of a lifetime! It was a very special way to celebrate a friend’s 60th birthday. Everything was above expectations from the ship, Queen Jelena, to the captain and cabin crew, with special thanks to Pamela and Lucy, who we kept quite busy provided excellent service and always with a smile! Croatia's coastline is simply beautiful and the cities of Dubrovnik and Split were well worth the visit. The smaller islands were interesting and pretty if missing cultural interest, but thanks to our wine-themed cruise, there was always something to see/do. The crew and especially our guide Lola were cheerful, helpful and fun (my husband and I were traveling with a solo friend, so with 3 at our table, we were able to share a lot of meals with Lola). We've done a number of cruises in the past, from 120 passengers up to about 2000, and unfortunately I'm prone to seasickness, so on that front the trip was not great - I definitely appreciated our captain's decision to skip one island due to rough seas! The smaller size ship also meant that our cabin was much smaller than what we've experienced before and there was really nowhere other than the dining area for people to gather together when it was raining which was unfortunate. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

I'm sorry I cannot give a 5 star review. The great things about the ship was the chef, the crew and the facilities. All great - clean, organized, well run. My disappointment was in the lack of excursions on the islands between Dubrovnik and Split. I thought that we should have some kind of introduction to each island and short walking tour each time we docked. Everyday was a swim day and because the water was too cold to swim I had hoped that an adjustment would be made to the schedule for an alternate activity. Perhaps dock earlier to give us some time off the boat. There was too much sitting around time. From breakfast, through lunch there was nothing to do if you did not swim (& no one did). We did not disembark til 2 pm. Our tour dir. did her job perfunctorily and made arrangements as requested, She was not as visible or involved with our group. Although she said she has been doing this for 4 years she came off as unsure and inexperienced.

I had an amazing time!! The boat was beautiful, the wine tours were extremely interesting, and the locations were beautiful . Lola was the best! She was always upbeat and friendly ,when I take another Sail Croatia cruise I will make sure that Lola is our guide. I will always recommend Sail Croatia and Lola.

We had a wonderful trip! The Romantic Star is a beautiful boat, service was excellent and food was delicious! Our Tour Manager, Anita, was the best! Always checking on us for what we needed made reservations for dinner and adventures. Our captain, Ivan, was friendly and outgoing. Special thanks to Tony and Josephine for their great service! I will certainly refer our friends to Sail Croatia.

My husband and I travelled with my parents and we had the best time! Dino, George, Linda, Allie and the rest of the crew were amazing and did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We could have not been happier with the trip! Since I didn’t get to fill out the iPad survey on the ship I have a few minor suggestions: My husband would have preferred breakfast that wasn’t the same every morning. The shower floor was very slippery so a mat in the bottom would have been nice. The dining room was very loud when we were all there so more softer surfaces to absorb the noise would help. The days were arranged so nicely and we felt taken care of very well. Thank you!!

Sailing from Dubrovnik to Split on the Wine Cruise aboard the Queen Jelena was my first cruise and first time to Croatia. Sail Croatia was a wonderful experience. The Tour Leader was warm, attentive, and proactive in ensuring the guests were informed and comfortable. I appreciated the "off the beaten path" experiences with winemakers and private tours. The crew were highly competent and the ship and accomodations were clean and tasteful. With the wine focus for the trip, the group of guests from around the globe bonded and developed friendships that will last beyond this vacation. I highly recommend. I was traveling as a single woman with friends (a married couple) and always felt welcome by the other guests and staff.

The entire experience, down to the smallest details, was extremely well coordinated and executed.The transfers from and to the airport went smoothly and the drivers made us feel comfortable and the one on the incoming transfer gave us great options for places to visit the day before we sailed. Anita was above and beyond helpful in all aspects of the cruise. She communicated any and all details very well and in a timely manner. She made sure to coordinate excursions and dinners in port that would meet our interests as well as making sure we knew where specific amenities we may need were located on shore. The chef and sous chef did an outstanding job with the meals. The beautiful presentation, fabulous flavor, and broad range of menus for each onboard meal was amazing for such a small kitchen.Lunch and the captains dinner felt like a fine dining experience. Ivan and the crew made us feel welcome and preformed their tasks smoothly.. Bravo to the team at Sail Croatia and Romantic Star!

Everything about the cruise is first class. The boat “Olimp” is beautiful and extremely comfortable The crew were absolutely marvellous. The tour director gave clear and concise information and made everything we did fun as well I celebrated my birthday whilst onboard and can say that it will go down as one the most memorable! The crew helped to make my day very special. Our hostesses! What can I say attentive, friendly, helpful professional and fun too. I would love to return and do it all again.

We were on a wine cruise which was most enjoyable . Lola was helpful and knowledgable and warm. The staff on the boat were warm and friendly. The boat was comfy and the food very good . The other travellers were good fun and we have made some lasting friends from all corners of the earth . Highly recommend !

Intimate (but not crowded) specialty cruise: Best of Croatia Wine with 32 passengers on board beautifully crafted and built elegance passenger ship guided by an exceptional Captain Gordon, a team of gracious crew: warm welcome every moment of the day by Luce, Pamela in the salon, delicious meals by Chef Frans and Aline, comfortable and spotless cleaned cabin by Emma, expeditiously attentive and hardworking by sailors, Josip and Josip, and a kind, clam expertise of the cruise manager, Lola; who is always presence with daily planned itineraries to many of the best Croatia wine venues as well as attuned to all passengers' needs and requests.

My two siblings, their spouses and I wanted to do a siblings trip, and chose the Wines of Croatia tour, the first of the 2026 season. Anita was our cruise director, and she was what made this trip so fantastic! With only 18 passengers, it was a super fun group. Anita was so helpful and friendly, which also seems to describe most of the people we met in Croatia! She's great at planning and communicating, and a pleasure to be with. The wine events are terrific and so varied! And evenings where you may want to find a restaurant (sometimes the wine events include dinner), Anita sent us recommendations in the ports for meals and things worth seeing. Chef Silvija did a fine job, and we enjoyed "cookie time" at 11am. Glad we all opted for the Blue Lagoon (short visit, but worth the trip!). Dubrovnik was where we ended our trip - amazing place, but if I had a choice, I'd start my trip there as we had culture shock with the huge crowds. Rooms lovely, and bedding comfy. Great captain and crew!

Sail Croatia Wine Cruise was wonderful! The crew and staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to make the trip a memorable event. The food was delicious, always expertly prepared and attractively presented. I was especially appreciative of the attention to detail for my food allergy. Anita was super great in planning our excursions and wine tastings. Each island stop was fun and unique for all to enjoy. Her enthusiasm was contagious! Everyone on our cruise was so kind and friendly. Croatia and the Dalmatian Islands are beautiful. It was a great adventure!

Ivan out tour guide was phenomenal. He taught us something new everyday about the history and geography of Croatia. He always made things interesting and fun. The entire schedule of the Wines of Croatia Cruise was perfect, never too much and always an adventure. We were treated like royalty on the ship and the accomodations were just right. The Queen Jalena is a marvel of a ship. I hope to sail with Sail Croatia again in the next year or tow, NO ONE could be better!!
