Wonderful! Improvement must be considered for highly excessive noise level in dining room. Requires acoustical treatment. Disappointing that meals were not served on outside tables! Missing towel bars or hooks to dry swimwear in rooms. Consider reducing swimming frequency for additional dock time at additional locations such as Havar & Split. All staff were very helpful, considerate and friendly!! Beautiful Ship!!!

The ship is very lovely. The mattress a bit soft for my liking and only 1 pillow is provided, which is silly. The company says it provides one beach towel and one bath towel. It also provides one face towel. What it does not say is that they changed your bath and face towel twice during the cruise. They never change your beach towel, and they don’t dry. It’s pretty gross. Beach towels should also be cleaned once or so per week. We use them every day. The daily itinerary should be reversed. We should go out on the islands in the morning and see the sites and have excursions, and come back to the ship in the afternoon for swimming and relaxing. The lunches are big and heavy, and are better suited for dinners. We could have lunch on our own on the island and dinner on the ship. The staff is amazing Truly helpful and accommodating. Coffee/tea/softdrinks should be included in the overall pricing. I would rather you charge a little bit more upfront and include those things

We recently traveled on a Sail Croatia Elegance Cruise aboard the luxury vessel Katarina from Split to Dubrovnik in late September/early October. The onboard experience exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional—fresh, delicious & high quality. The drinks, boat, staff, captain, crew & our Sail Croatia guide were phenomenal & went above & beyond. Our only disappointment was Sail Croatia’s back-office itinerary planning. We spent an afternoon & evening in Vela Luka, only to find the town essentially closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were closed, there was little to do & no taxis or boats were available to reach nearby beaches. For a luxury cruise, seasonal closures should be considered when planning late-season itineraries. Another stop or extra time in Dubrovnik would have been a much better option. Katarina & the onboard experience were exceptional. We only wish the itinerary had matched the same high standard.

My husband and I loved the yacht and visiting the different locations along the coast. Every location was a little bit different, but all were beautiful. The common areas of the boat were never crowded and the daily swim stops were great. The cabin was spacious enough and remarkably quiet (lower deck). Our representative, Vicko, was so informative and humorous with his daily breifings of our itinerary, some history, and cultural tips. The wait staff/bartenders were so helpful and attentive. While generally, the food was good, I was a bit disappointed in their "accommodation" for our dietary needs. I told the booking agent before we booked about our dietary needs and she assured me it would be no problem. We verified this again shortly before the trip. We felt like our request was not fully conveyed to the chef and people supplying provisions on the boat, so it seemed like our alternative meals were kind of afterthoughts. The food did not measure up to the price of the trip.

This was a beautiful cruise with wonderful swim stops and interesting ports every day. The breakfasts and lunches were very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the boat was kept very clean. There is not a lot of storage in the cabin, given the underbed area is taken up with life jackets. But after a day we had our storage needs figured out. They supply only basic bath amenities so bring your own, including washcloths. The shower was very weak and marginally warm a couple of days, other days it was cool. There were don't enough lines or hooks to hang wet swimwear to dry. The boat is not metal so bringing magnetic hooks doesn't help. This is only one of the very few ways to get to these small island ports. It's well worth the minor foibles on the boat.

The crew and our tour guide were great and very helpful. It would be helpful if they published better details about the daily flow of their cruises to help manage expectations about time on the boat vs exploring the various port locations. For example you dock in each port overnight and the yacht moves in the morning to the next location with a swim stop each morning. You dock at the next port during lunch and then explore tge port during the hottest part of the day and into the night. Breakfast Buffett was varied and solid. Lunches were not great and the biggest miss for my group.

The holiday was lovely. I really liked the Esperanza boat, very warm and welcoming with friendly staff. The swim every morning was a highlight, the top deck for sunbathing and visiting the different islands each day. We meet a bunch of great people whom we got on really well with which added to the overall experience. The food was mainly good, but thought the tipping expectation was extreme.

It was very noisy and felt claustrophobic. It was disappointing we could not eat outside. Breakfast was okay, but there was limited choice and the food quality not good. Often the fruit ran out. Coffee not good either. Excursions were terrific with a wide choice. The gratuity advice was incredible. 600 euros per cabin ! Nearly everyone was astonished that we were expected to give that much.

Amazing. Loved all the ports we visited. The ship was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much bother. The food was good. About what l expected for what we paid. A couple of things. Food was good. Always fresh but l thought at lunch they should have had another option on the set menu. A few people don’t eat seafood but there was no other option. You would only get different menu if you had an allergy.. TVs in room don’t work. ? Why are they there? Overall l enjoyed the cruises. I would recommend Sail Croatian friends and family.

The cruise on board the Esperanza was a great cruise. The staff was wonderful. The staff and our group of friends got along wonderfully. The food was delicious. But, I would have loved a cup of real coffee instead of instant coffee from a machine. Dino arranged a fishing expedition for us to enjoy. Ivo and Mio kept the drinks flowing and were always smiling. My cabin was refreshed daily. The comfort on the boat in the social areas was nice but there were a few issues that I would like to mention. While there was a blow dryer for drying our hair, the blow dryers lacked power. There was an electric outlet in the sleeping area of the cabin but there was no mirror. A mirror would have been nice for makeup application too. Also the closet did not give us the option to hang anything longer than a shirt. My dresses couldn’t hang long. There was not enough drawer storage at all! Towels were treated like a precious commodity and not refreshed unless asked for. Not true luxury

The yacht was beautiful but the crew did not seem happy to be there. There were no smiles from the crew members and very little interaction with the guests. One sailor paid no attention to guests even when spoken to directly. The cruise director was somewhat confusing in discussing the next days itinerary. Swim stops were beautiful. More and newer swim toys would have been appreciated. Noodles were crumbling and breaking. On the plus side, the food was amazing and beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef and sous chef. The ships air conditioning was not adequate for the hot temperatures at night. Many had trouble sleeping as the a/c was turned off. The Captain's dinner could only be described as "sweaty". Transfers were well handled. Overall I had a good time with a great group of travelers.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Was impressed with the Olimp: impeccably maintained, everything gleaming, spick-and-span, and the whole crew were friendly & helpful, and Vedran is a star organiser! Our lunches were all delicious. .The breakfast buffet was sufficient except for the "orange juice" which neither looked nor tasted as if it had been near a real orange. Breakfast was too short, and too early. Should last until at least 10am, Also I'd have liked the option to eat on the outside deck. When at sea who wants to be in an enclosed space.? The highlight of the trip was swimming. But I wanted more & longer swim stops. Most were only 1 hour - not enough to enjoy repeatedly jumping into that gorgeous turquoise sea! I'd have also appreciated more time actually sailing, not moored in a port. The expeditions were at the hottest time of day, so I mostly opted out and relaxed on the ship's cushions in the breeze - that upper deck lounging area was a perfect touch of luxury!

Our holiday was very relaxing. Dino was 5 stars and so were the rest of the crew. Great way to see the islands. The only reason we rated 4stars instead of 5 is because we would have preferred not to be served a full 3 course meal at lunch. A buffet would have been better. Save the big meal for when we were in the towns. As it was we ate two dinner type meals a day until we decided to just not eat lunch on the ship.

The trip from Dubrovnik to Split was awesome. I have been in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years and I would like to offer some suggestions: -towels need to be dried some way, we had to use them wet. -shower floor is very slippery, you might want to do something. -regular coffee and bread can be better at breakfast. Sweet bread was fine. -Lunch can be better as well. Dessert when made by the lady cook was awesome. she is really good. All the crew offered a fantastic and warm service at all times.. congratulations for that. Ally and Linda worked non stop and the boys as well. Captain was a lot of fun and so friendly and easy going. He did a very good job. Having the boat from Blue Cave take us directly to the ship was a great idea. thank you. Jacuzzi was a little small for a big crowd and we had to take turns. -Dinning room was very noisy during meals. Too many people in a small area. I wish we could extend and eat outside. Croatia's coastline is simply beautiful and the cities of Dubrovnik and Split were well worth the visit. The smaller islands were interesting and pretty if missing cultural interest, but thanks to our wine-themed cruise, there was always something to see/do. The crew and especially our guide Lola were cheerful, helpful and fun (my husband and I were traveling with a solo friend, so with 3 at our table, we were able to share a lot of meals with Lola). We've done a number of cruises in the past, from 120 passengers up to about 2000, and unfortunately I'm prone to seasickness, so on that front the trip was not great - I definitely appreciated our captain's decision to skip one island due to rough seas! The smaller size ship also meant that our cabin was much smaller than what we've experienced before and there was really nowhere other than the dining area for people to gather together when it was raining which was unfortunate. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

I'm sorry I cannot give a 5 star review. The great things about the ship was the chef, the crew and the facilities. All great - clean, organized, well run. My disappointment was in the lack of excursions on the islands between Dubrovnik and Split. I thought that we should have some kind of introduction to each island and short walking tour each time we docked. Everyday was a swim day and because the water was too cold to swim I had hoped that an adjustment would be made to the schedule for an alternate activity. Perhaps dock earlier to give us some time off the boat. There was too much sitting around time. From breakfast, through lunch there was nothing to do if you did not swim (& no one did). We did not disembark til 2 pm. Our tour dir. did her job perfunctorily and made arrangements as requested, She was not as visible or involved with our group. Although she said she has been doing this for 4 years she came off as unsure and inexperienced.

We enjoyed our travel of the Croatian islands with Sail Croatia. Ioana made the experience great ! She has given reliable information and realistic expectations of the activities every day. Number one, the staff was excellent! From the time we entered onto the ship to the time we got off they were always there when we needed them. If someone also had food issues, they were also accommodating to the persons needs. The director, Ivan, also personalized, and went above and beyond some of the things to help us and make our experience very memorable! The staff also in charge of swimming, cooking, serving, cleaning, bartending were all very friendly. Second, the ship was in great condition and kept clean. Third, the two tours that were included were great with Ivan. Fourth, the Captain’s dinner was great and the band was excellent! And, the people that were on the ship with us ended up to be the best and we all had so much fun together! A feeling of family! Ivan, the director was superb!! Captain Ivan was also superb!

We had the best vacation on the Olimp with 10 of our friends. The boat is beautiful, cabins are modern and bathrooms are great. There is plenty of space (in the sun or in the shade) to relax and enjoy the passing scenery. Captain George and the Olimp crew were fantastic, making sure we were safe, happy and well feed & ‘watered’! The islands we visited were lovely and we all enjoyed wondering round and exploring them. Daily swim stops were fun and locations were always very picturesque.

We traveled with a group of friends. This cruise perfectly loans itself to a friendly and fun experience. The crew was fantastic, in particular Mio and Martina. They made our experience so much more fun and their attention gave a much higher level of service than expected. The slow progression through the islands felt luxurious and calming. I never felt a moment of motion sickness. The islands and coastline are absolutely stunning. The cabins are good sized, the showers had good water pressure and temperature. The bar was well stocked and available when we wanted it. The only weak area of improvement is the meals. The long lunch is lovely but some of the dishes were not delicious. The daily salad bar was good as was the breakfast. We would have preferred a longer breakfast time. It was early and too short.

The Katarina is a very beautiful ship with a modern and elegant décoration The commun areas are well laid out The crew is very professional, friendly and helpfull The breakfast was good but it would benefit from being better supplied : for exemple of earl grey tea, a jam in jars where you can see the fruit that make it up, wholemeal bread , …. The salad buffet is a good initiative but it could include a dish of lentils or beans or chickpeas For me, the best moments were the swimming stop at the end of the morning ,in deserted coves near rocks and pines. The boat (Queen Jelena), the intinerary from Dubrovnik to Split, the regular swim stops and the food, was all outstanding. However, I also did not feel like I needed a full 3-course sit-down meal in the middle of the day EVERY day. Our tour leader was informative, helpful and lovely. Perhaps the only disappointment was that the boat was half full (in July??) with 12 other passengers : 3 couples and the rest retired single and/or divorced women in their 70s. (I still work and was holidaying solo for a break and some fun). By the 4th night I was feeling trapped in the slow lane and trying to avoid the "horrible ex-husband" stories.. That said, I do recommend Sail Croatia, and I understand you cannot control who books a tour at the same time as you. However I found the Elegance cruise to be better suited to travellers seeking a slower pace.

The weather was very good, the boat was very clean, the Captain & crew were hard-working, friendly, helpful and professional. And our fellow passengers were great. The variety of tours on offer was good. We would have liked one night at anchor in a sheltered bay. And we would have preferred longer breakfast time from, say, 8am to 10am. The bed in our cabin wasn’t very comfortable, too hard a mattress for us. However all-in-all we had a great trip and we would recommend it to others.

Romantic Star Cruise (June 21-29, 2025) Pros: -Ship was new and clean. -Swim stops were perfect. Cons: -Staff, except guide, looked unhappy (no smile). -Cleaning day didn't do a good job cleaning. Towel were not changed in the 7 days' stay. -Food was OK, not interesting. -Coffee and juices were charged if consumed outside the 1 hour for a meal time - outrageously cheap!! -Captain's dinner (lame) and dinner in town were had in Hvar, so we didn't get to eat out in beautiful Hvar. They should have been held in Dubrovnic (where we stayed 2 nights) and Planikovak (which didn't have good restaurants).

The boat was comfortable, the food beautifully prepared the shore stops were very interesting and we had a very organised cruise director. We were lucky to only have a small group of 18 on a boat that caters for 36.. The spoilers were the boat crew did their job efficiently but nothing more. There was never a smile or any other pleasantries. Only Dragon ever engaged with anyone. It often felt awkward. It was the first time we have encountered this on our many cruises. Also, it was pretty savings to only have coffee available from 7.30am and only instant coffee available for free at morning tea. If we wanted an express it cost €5 which is exploitation when on sure we had many coffees for less than half that price.

We enjoyed having a relatively small group of fellow travellers being 36 in total from Australia, Canada, South Africa, UK and USA. Our cabin was comfortable although the quality in pillows and towels was poor. The chef and catering staff did a magnificent job with meal preparation it’s was always delicious The dining saloon however was very noisy during meal times and made conversation difficult The islands/towns visited all had something different to enjoy and we soon chose our favourites. The staff were all friendly and courteous and the boat comfortable and in good condition .We were disappointed that smoking was allowed in the inside deck area which was enclosed with plastic coverings. and attached to the dining saloon. This was especially unpleasant and meant many of us could not utilise this area. This issue was reported to the staff however we felt the resolution unsatisfactory. Regardless of these issues we did enjoy the experience and had a lot of laughs.

Overall, a very good experience. We both enjoyed our week on the Olimp, it is a beautiful ship. Our rep was amazing, he worked hard to ensure we had a good week. The food , especially lunch, was beyond exceptional. Breakfast wasn't bad but I expected some good fresh fruit options instead of canned peaches and unripe pineapple every morning. Included in the cruise price we had two really excellent wine tastings and two that were average. Having said that, we would still recommend cruising with Sail Croatia. The team really went above and beyond

The crew was spectacular and incredibly accommodating. Cabins were spacious and the ship was wonderful. One suggestion is get a proper system for tracking individuals purchases. Using a notebook to track 37 vacationer's purchases is archaic. Please invest in a pos system or otherwise it appears to be by design. Sailing a multimillion dollar ship with a manual ledger should be an embarrassment to the owners. It is 2025. My only criticism of my adventure

Our cruise was very relaxing with the right balance of activities and interaction with other guests. We really loved the swim stops each day and the meals were of premium quality and presentation. There was plenty of space on the boat, Esperanza, to feel like you could have some privacy and then interact when we wanted to. 1. The wifi should work better. 2. For the price of the trip, I expected that we would have access to a good coffee machine 24/7. The urns provided were not satisfactory. 3. The excursions were overpriced. 4. The “included” tour of Dubrovnik should have included a bus to take passengers to the old town. 5. There should be enough treats during the coffee and tea hour (11-12) so everyone has a chance to get a snack. 6. The staff were friendly. 7. The boat was well kept. 8. Our rooms were kept clean. 9. Everything about the cruise was great except the food. I don’t eat fish and the substitute for fish was chicken nuggets from a frozen packet and a mince paddy from a frozen packet. I believe you should have had choices of meals. Less hot food and more salads or even bbq’s. our cruise director Karolina was absolutely fantastic. She knew everything as was a pure delight to deal with. Our skipper took us to places that were beautiful. Breakfast hours to be extended with better coffee, too weak! Shouldn’t have to purchase at ar to get good coffee. Overall the food needs improvement, meat was overcooked & repetitive. Also need to provide water in the cabins to be readily available especially through the night. Cabins could use updating, get rid of carpeting. Also replace lumpy pillows & improve mattress. Also provide snacks outside of meal hours or to purchase at bar. Lastly Captain’s dinner is nice idea but the entertainment overtook everything & too long, people couldn’t socialize as a result of being too loud. Our cruise Director & staff were good to us

I think the whole experience was very smoothly and efficiently run by Mia who was superb. She was informative and had a lovely sense of humour! The rest of the crew were working hard in the background and never intrusive. The Queen J is a lovely ship but I felt that there could have been a little more ‘health and safety walking from ship to ship especially for those that are not quite so stable on their legs! We were very lucky to have a great bunch of ship mates!

Not so good - tour of Vis, Verdan sold it to us as a scenic tour. I didn't expect most of it to be going through military bunkers. I wanted to see the island, not the inside of some old military thing. Dinner at Korcula was not good or tour of Korcula - that woman was painful in her terrible attempts to be humorous.

This was a dream of mine to sail around the islands off Dubrovnik. It certainly lived up to my expectations. Sailing through those beautiful azure waters, daily swims (sometimes near shore other times deep waters) was absolute bliss. Every shore stop offered something a little different, a fisherman’s festival with great food, historical village trips, village dinners and so much more. History everywhere. The food on the boat was absolutely amazing, what you would expect from a fine restaurant- coming out of a tiny kitchen daily! We had great company also on our intimate cruise of 34 people. The only downsides were our cabin which seemed to back onto the engine room was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other speak, so it was up on deck early for us every day! Also when rafted up at port, at times the boats were at different heights which made it difficult for some to traverse - a gangplank would certainly have helped. I also would have appreciated a daily bar bill reckoning.

Thoroughly enjoyed cruising the Croatian islands on our Dubrovnik to Split and return to Dubrovnik tour. Each port we stopped at represented a lesson in history. Thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour in Split and Dubrovnik with the local guides as well as the fabulous dinner with wine in Stari Grad at a local farm restaurant. Our morning swimming stops were a pleasure and the food served on the boat was divine. But there were negatives: 1. Our lower level cabins were adjacent to the engine room therefore when the boat left port early in the morning, no further sleep or talking could be had. These cabins were priced the same as the forward lower level cabins which seems unfair. 2. No itemised bar bills were provided so you had to assume that what you were billed for, you actually drank. 3. The boats internet was rubbish. 4. When rafted up at port with other boats, crossing over was difficult at times due to the height of each boat I.e. need individual ramps and not step up or down.

A very well organised small cruise. The islands and swim stops were idyllic. Our tour guide Vedran was absolutely fabulous. The cruise could improve on a couple of things. Quality and temperature of food could be better. Also, when you buy a drink you don’t get a receipt they write it into a book manually. This led to a couple of mistakes on our bill. If this was done electronically these mistakes would be eradicated. Overall an excellent cruise and the other passengers were all lovely. I have no hesitation in recommending the Elegance Wine Cruise to anyone. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is due to the 2 points I have made above.

The trip was terrific! The guests on board were great and the crew was fantastic. We had so much fun in all the ports except Vela Luca was a terrible port. The wine tasting was mediocre and expensive and the restaurant options and night life there were terrible. Also, the village meal in Korcula was terrible. The town of Korcula was fun with many great restaurants, including a Michelin star restaurant. I would have MUCH preferred to be on my own that night. Lastly, when pulling into Dubrovnik, it would have been nice if the boat passed by the old city before heading to the port.

I love having such a small ship. Crew was wonderful. Mostly meals were delicious. Our Mia was wonderful and full of valuable information. She was very approachable and responsive. She is a lovely lady. The bar prices were high and the pours were small. There seemed to be difficulty having the hot tub hot at night for coming home before bed. I also wish we had access to coffee earlier in the morning. 8 am is a bit late for early risers. Towels never dried . So second day we had to use wet towels.

We got to see so many of the islands with little effort. My only criticism is that we were told we would disembark 10.00, and, at the last minute it was changed to 8.00, which made it very difficult for many of us who had ongoing plans booked for later, and had two hours to kill in between, having to store luggage and try to alter plans. Also, it would have been good to have more time in Dubrovnik. By the time we did the History tour it was a scramble to manage the walls before they closed.

We didn't do the subpens, as described. The rest of the tour was fine, but there was too much time spent herding folks to get the full tour. NOT a Sail Croatia tour, but maybe they can pick another provider.

This is a rather presumptuous title. There were many good things about the cruise but some improvements could be made. The scenery was wonderful and historic towns very interesting; food on the boat was very good; food onshore was overpriced and variable quality. Service on boat was very good. There could have been more attention to safety during swim stops eg ensuring safety rope was always in the water and life belt available at all times.. Additional to information given by tour manager, Boris. It would also be good to know about cultural events taking place onshore eg concerts, traditional events. We happened by chance to see the changing of the guard in Dubrovnik and discovered quite a few music events by chance. A disappointing welcome reception for one non-alcohol drinker who was given water in a plastic cup while everyone else was sipping Prosecco from a glass flute. I should have been offered juice, tonic, sparkling water etc not just some water in a plastic cup!

We had to cancel our initial 2020 booking due to Covid so we were lucky to get one of the last cabins on Olimp ( elegance cruise) It certainly was a wonderful way to see some of the Croatian islands in style. The regular swimming stops were a highlight as well as the amazing crew on board ! Vedran our tour manager kept us well informed and was always on hand for any support needed. Our cabin was comfortable, cool and quiet. We also had a friendly and fun group on board which made our trip even better. I would thoroughly recommend a Sail Croatia experience.

Wonderful way of exploring the Croatian islands. The boat was clean and comfortable, the AC was a must during our vacation time as it was in a mist of a heat wave. The entire equipage from the captain to the chef was great, and especially our tour director Ivana. Ivana you made everything better, you lift any worries that appeared , and you made everyone’s day, Thank you. The only suggestion I have to improve this beautiful sailing experience is to have a better coffee, the coffee on any place we stopped on the islands was real good coffee but the one on the boat. Bravo to Sail Croatia, we had an amazing Vacation!

We loved the cruise but what brought the star rating down for us was the daily smell of sewage in our cabin. We complained twice daily about the smell. Going to our cabin was not a pleasure. Certain cabins were worse off than others. AUD $7,500 for a week to cruise and smell waste in your sleeping area is poor!

We loved our boat trip, we met fabulous people and went to amazing places. The staff were good and our cabin was bigger than expected. A few points to note: More hooks on doors would have been good More fresh towels(especially beach) The food was good but too heavy and hot for lunch time, it was very protein and carbohydrate heavy, who needs a three course meal at lunch time in 36 degree heat???There was a lack of salads and vegetables, some meals were just meat and potatoes, we were expecting more bbq style food with salads and grilled veges, I also found the meals to be very formal, maybe something a little more causal would have been nice, or even eating outside perhaps. Our tour leader was a lovely guy, with a great sense of humour, but we didn’t really see that much of him, and there were occasions when as a group we all felt that he could have done more.

Esperanza is a beautiful boat and passing scenery breathtaking. Douha our host and all crew were wonderful. Swim stops were a favourite of ours and Douha had great knowledge of Croatia and ensured everything ran smoothly for us. The Queen Jelena was a beautiful ship. The rooms are comfortable and the common areas were lovely. Our guide, Mia, made our week extra special; she was so knowledgeable, patient, kind, helpful and funny. The places we stopped for swimming each day and overnight were beautiful. We had a fantastic time and it was sad to say goodbye at the end of the week. We had an issue with our bathroom/drainage smell, which the crew attempted to fix as soon as we advised them.

Such a stunningly beautiful journey! The swim stops made the trip! (bring your water shoes so you don't step on sea urchins when you go explore the shore, also the ship doesn't supply any water toys, so pack maybe a blow-up ring/noodle to float around on). The crew, especially our Tour Guide Stjepan (Steven), Petar and Tomo in the dining room/bar and Zrinka, the maid were FANTASTIC! Keep in mind that not all the excursions that are shown for each island are available at the time you go. We were hoping for more excursions, but still enjoyed each island! In our opinion, Queen Jelena is the most beautiful ship in the Sail Croatia fleet... Captain Gordan should be very proud! Thank you, Sail Croatia, for a trip of a lifetime!

The cruise director was not as informative or involved as the cruise guide we had on our previous Elegance Cruise (Olimp) in 2018. He did not accompany us in any of the towns, rather just pointed us in the direction of the buildings of significance. Our previous guide, Ana, was excellent. On our previous cruise, a glass of wine or beer was included with lunch. This has been discontinued. I had specifically asked in advance, about paying by credit or debit card and was told that we could via an email response. Day one, our cruise director informs us that the port fee of 30E each and the bar tab had to be paid in cash. I would recommend that people choose either Dubrovnik to Split/Split to Dubrovnik rather than Split to Split (north). More to see and enjoy. Croatia has become very expensive after changing to the Euro.

Improve your product??? Surely you mean “offering”. The food offering was repetitive, unexciting, the puddings , (with one exception) were inedible, the use of fake cream from a can was particularly unpleasant. Some Croatian specialities would have been welcome on the menus. Also no other options were available apart from a vegetarian option. All in all, completely underwhelming. Sleep was difficult due to the cheap pillows. However the tour rep Stephan was excellent as was the restaurant/bar manager.

I would not sail when places on the islands are not open. Or at least tell your customers that most shops and tourist places are not open yet and let them decide to sail or not. Staff on you ship need to understand English and also speak it. Also the bartenders should know how to make all types of drinks that are available

I enjoyed our cruise with vedran. He was very charming and Knowleagle about the country and the locations we visited. He always had a lot of helpful recommendations. For the most part the ship was good, although we had to change rooms twice during our stay. Once because the original room had a bit of a sewer smell that wasn’t going away and again because the beds in the second room couldn’t be split into twin beds as requested. I did ask sail Croatia to otivii out de a refund for the difference between the upper deck cabin we booked and paid for and lower deck cabin we ended up with. They refused but did offer two separate upper deck rooms, which we declined because we didn’t want to move again with i Oo only 1-2 days rendininv on the cruise. The food was mostly quite good but there could’ve been more variety at breakfast. Free coffee and tea throughout the day was not offered and would’ve been a nice, basic amenity 2 offer. Steve, Bobby, Barbara and the rest of the crew were WONDERFUL. However, I have to COMPLAIN with the MANAGEMENT of SAIL CROATIA!,!! When I purchased my ticket, I specified that I was GLUTEN FREE and was told that the crew would accommodate but they NEVER received the MEMO !!! Because of this, I missed out at every meal and tea time. Because of this, I had a GLUTEN attack and lost a lot of enjoyable times and missed outings. I paid as much as every other guests but received less. Steve, Bobby and even the cook apologized for what happened to me which I greatly appreciated, but I still lost a full day recovering . What’s the point of telling the booking department about your allergies if they don’t pass the message to the crew so they can accommodate the person from day one. This is a DEAL BREAKER to someone with food allergies I had a talk with Steve and made some suggestions on how the service could be improved and I hope he will share those with you . The ship was very clean, well laid out and the staff were excellent. The itinerary was well thought out, visiting the various islands and mainland ports, with well timed swim stops and ports of call. The captain did an excellent job of avoiding inclement weather by switching up the order of island visits. Good choices of excursions and lots of free time to explore. One criticism would be the food-the last lunch wasn’t great and dietary concerns that were listed at booking and assured that would be followed were not relayed to the crew or followed. The captains dinner was lovely, but with wine glasses set on every table, we thought some local wine might be provided by Sail Croatia (a bottle of red at a local winery is only €10)-that would have been a nice “wow” factor. Also, there wasn’t a paddle for the paddleboard, and the only water float toy disappeared, as well as odd masks and one poorly fitting fins. Indoor board games would be a good idea to have on hand for inclement weather.

The comfort of the room, the very professionel and friendly, at the same time, crew, the choice of islands that we visited and excursions offered. Our Sail Croatia representative on board was excellent. She knew her country and good stories. She also listen to her clients. One thing where there will be place for improvement is for a vegetarian or pescatarian diet. We had 3 days of sauté veggies and 4 days of tuna steak. Don't take me wrong It was good but too much the same. Desserts were very good.

The early morning departures and late arrivals into ports made shore visits shorter than expected, and passengers were tired after being woken early mornings with engine noise. The itinerary changes due to weather etc could have been better communicated. The loud music playing in the salon all the time was completely unnecessary. Lighter lunch options would have been appreciated. The included shore tours were very good!

Fantastic guide called Ivan charming , gentle and funny. He loved his hometown, Split. He was organised and helpful. We also had a good cabin and ensuite. The small group of 28 people were friendly and approachable. The swimming and destinations were unique and interesting.

We travelled on the New Ship Roko. It was beautiful, Croatia was beautiful but this was not what I would consider an Elegance Cruise. We were expecting exceptional service. It was mediocre. The staff was informative but not polite, smiling or happy. They were robotic, dismissive, aloof, going through the motions. The captain never smiled, greeted people, not even a courteous wave when walking past you. He did his job, nothing else. The food at breakfast was good, nice variety but ran out of fresh fruit every day. Lunch was a sub par version of English cooking. We were expecting Authentic Croatian cuisine. I only ate 50 % off them. They ran out of fresh lettuce every day. The rooms were straightened up each day with fresh towels. They were not cleaned. Every day there was dust/hair etc on the bathroom floor. I would clean up every morning after the cabin maid left. This is what I would expect from a Navigator, or Explorer Cruise. I didn't consider it an Elegance Cruise at all!

This is our 3rd time travelling with Sail Croatia and yet again we had the most fantastic time, however, we did notice a few things that we feel needed to be addressed. 1) The cleanliness of the ship overall was not good and the 'sun' deck was not cleaned in the whole week we were on board (I spilt a coke and the stained remained all week). The bar deck was the same and sometimes the tables were still covered in the empty glasses from the night before. 2) The route was changed with no apparent reason and therefore I spent the first day changing booked trips. 3) The captains night was the 1st night (usually the 2nd to last) and most passengers were tired and retired before the entertainment finished). 4) Smoking was allowed pretty much anywhere on outside decks and although I am a smoker, this was not welcomed by most of the passengers. 5) The cushion covers on the sun loungers were not cleaned in time and we therefore spent the first day and half without cushions. run out!

This was our second trip on Queen Jelena and the ship, crew and host were just as good this time around. This time we travelled North from Split and the only negative of the trip were the excursions which consisted mostly of walking tours during the hottest part of the day. Nowhere near as much fun as the white water rafting, cycling or buggy driving that you can do when travelling South. At least the village dinner was better than the last one!

It was our first time on a cruise and Sail Croatia team and Ivan made it a very enjoyable and pleasurable experience. The food was absolutely great, the overall staff were very friendly and always approachable and there to assist you if needed. The itinerary for the cruise was a great selection and the cabins are of a good size and always clean too. Ivan our main host was brilliant and very proud of his country and rightly so. I would 100% recommend Sail Croatia and especially the trip we went on. We have made many lovely memories on this cruise and met some lovely people. Ivan gave great info daily about our planned days including history and local details of each of the islands visited. We also thought having a photographer come along to photo the group was a wonderful idea capturing the holiday. We have a 4 instead of a 5 star because there was a limited selection of alcoholic beverages, no nibbles and cabin decor is a little basic, however we loved our holiday and thank you xx

We originally booked the trip on Alfa Mario for very specific reasons (There is a pool on board and access to swimming spots is from the back platform). the boat was changed and we had no choice in the matter. We could either change our dates or get a refund, BUT we had already booked and paid for flights, so actually had no choice. On board the Queen Jelena there are a few small things that would have made a big difference. A turn down service would add a nice touch. On the top deck the barman was on duty some of the time, he could perhaps have walked around and taken drink orders. A few floating toys would also have been nice during swim stops.

We gve this only 4 Stars due to the fact that it was advertised as a 5 STAR cruise and it didn;t live up to our expectations. We had an absolutley fabulous time but some amenities were lacking. The crew was great, personable and helpful -- but a few addiions would have made it a 5 star experince. Upon arrival for Welcome on Board at 11:30 AM after a long walk to the port, (PORT LOCATION WAS CHANGED AND WE WERE NOT NOTIFIED NOR WERE THE PORT PEOPLE HELPFUL) it would have been nice to have been offered a cold towel & water. Instead we were directed to bar to purchase water/drinks. Our Welcome w/ canopes & champage was to be at 12 -we were greeted at 12:40 with champage - and no appetizers or canapes. No food available unless you are at breakfast between 8 & 9 and Lunch between 1-2 and we were forbidden to bring snacks/drinks on board. No refrig in room - need to go to water cooler to get cold water in middle of nite. But we would recommend to other cruisers as a fun experience.

We cruised on the Roko in June 2022. We enjoyed the concept of that cruise, a good alternation of resting and fun time on boat and discovery of the islands. Food was great, cabin confortable, staff friendly and professionnal. The boat itself is amazing, we appreciated the private balcony! We would have appreciate a transfert from boat to Dubrovnik on day 7 like others cruises lines were doingm instead of taking public transportation. It was a Elegance Cruise, after all!! Also, the stop at Vela Luka is totally useless, a waste of time since there is nothing to see or do at that place. Please review the itinérary. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

We were so well looked after from beginning to end. The onboard welcome set the tone for the week. The destinations were ideal for a mature couple and the ships facilities made relaxing in between a pleasure. Our on board guide was the best! And the crew were so friendly and helpful. We loved the personal aspect. The food was excellent and the staff made it special and looked after us really well. Our original cruise was cancelled 2 weeks before we were due to leave and we swapped onto a different one but the staff were most helpful with changing details, and arranging for our transfer to a different port. Our one issue was that in some ports, we didn't have much time to explore, due to the late docking of the ship which limited arranging any excursions prior to nightfall. We were concerned we wouldn't enjoy this cruise so much, but we loved it and would recommend to others. Special thanks to Boris and Tomo who both excelled and made the whole experience very special.

Well appointed, comfortable new Roko ship with lovely staff. The swim stops were beautiful and it was nice to enjoy each island’s sites and restaurants, Representative Boris was wonderful with knowledge and tips for every port. Head waiter Bojan was charming and attentive. Dule and Marijana served excellent meals and desserts and Lorena kept everything tidy. I would skip the included village visit and meal. Only wish is that Sail Croatio would have smoke free ships, smoking from the staff was disturbing particularly in the early mornings.

The ship we sailed on was the Olimp and it was just beautiful. The group we had was only 25 and there was a wide variety of ages but everyone mixed really well. The food the biggest surprise- absolutely 5 star meals. What a great effort to create such amazing food in such a small space. Cruising the Adriatic Sea aboard the Queen Jelena was a memorable week. The scenery is breathtaking! The boat is very comfortable and the staff was outstanding! This is however a very slow pace cruise. If that is what you want, then it is perfect. I expected more activities. But the small cruise setting was very nice indeed.

The food was average , only 2 meals on the boat were of the quality I accept when traveling internationally ,not a choice of fish or meat and 2 of the meat coarse served I would had sent back if served to me in a average restaurant in the world. Having a window of 1 hour to have breakfast is unacceptable by any standards of any hotel cruise line in the world 8 to 9 and if you arrived at 855 they started to pack away as if the were still in a communist country no Tea or coffee making facilities before 8 am which is absolutely not acceptable by any standards in the world The tour guide was average,a poor communicator spoke too long on ever Occassion ,boat was nice and clean staff were pleasant .We enjoyed ourselves because of the company we met . this trip we visited London,New York ,Santorini,Athens now France I Am 60 years travelled the world annually you requested a critique so I have taken the time hope you improve ,there is a lot of scope in food ,guide, done 4

On arrival the Olipm was gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. The lower cabins are by far the best choice. The food on boards was excellent. Lara and the Captain were very good hosts. The bar/ waiter staff looked pretty miserable for the duration of the trip offering hardly any hospitality or smiles. It appeared that the job was a chore to them. I cannot understand why customers cannot pay for their drinks at the end of each evening. What is the reason for this? Also the boat ran out of Jack Daniels and despite going to other islands this was never replenished, why? It seems ridiculous and the boat is losing money! The bar staff were not interested. Other than that we had a fantastic holiday.

We arrived and were put in a room with a shower that did not work. The crew knew about the issue with the shower. They put us in the room anyway. I had to change rooms so I could have a room with a working shower. The new room was smaller and had 2 beds. The original room had a full size bed and was larger. That was a bit upsetting since they knew about the issue. I also paid for a larger room. We did not have enough time on land on any of the stops especially in Dubrovnik. We arrived in Dubrovnik very late in the afternoon and left early in the morning. This town was the highlight of the trip with very little time there.

The boat was beautiful and had great amenities. The ability to see so much of Croatia and visit a variety of cities and islands was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful and had a sincere desire to make our trip memorable and comfortable. The only area that could have used some improvement was the lunches. It would have been nice to have the Sail Croatian representative give his spiel about the history and adventure options while we were eating rather than waiting until the end of the lunch and thus detaining us from getting on land and exploring earlier.

Tour guide Matteo was very informative about each next destination all things of interest to see and view he was very informative about each places of interest, very good at his job as well as being great host. Right from the beginning enquiring about the trip, Sail Croatia office staff (Cayley and Aly) were great, followed up and I have to say, it was the follow up email made me move forward and book. I was encouraged to take the trip because of the option of a 'solo' traveller and get matched up with like kind traveller. Unfortunately there was no other solo travller booked but Matio, (our guide) immediately seeing my disappointment at check in, said to me that he has never seen anyone left out and assured me it will be fine. Matio was correct, and I had a great time, lots of laughter and cold beverages too. Although there was lots of land time at each of the stops, I think it would have ben fun to have other option to have entertainment on board. I would rate the trip 3.5 out of 5.

Our Split to Dubrovnik trip was great - we had an amazing group of people and enjoyed the lovely ship. Staff does run a tight one! It was great to have dinners on our own most nights with the flex to stay out for the evening when the islands are less busy. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great, even if our upper cabin was noisy. Overall a fun week!

I think bottled water should be put in the room daily as you can't drink the water in the cabin (which was very small when you put suitcases inside). Not being able to access coffee or tea until 8am is a bit of a bug bear if you are an early riser. Could move the coffee/tea facilities onto the undercover deck area which would also help with the congestion around the breakfast bar, Arriving in the ports in the afternoons means you miss most of the day on the islands. Rafting up in rough weather is difficult if you are a bit older. Could have a few activities on the ship for the days you don't get to port till late afternoon, basically nothing to do on board.

Food choice - no choice for lunch and, at times, the menu offered was mediocre. Not particularly tasty or appetising.. Tour guide - much of our on - land time was self - directed with a very limited explanation of what to see and how to get there. Wi - fi - virtually non existent unless very late at night or in the early hours of the morning. I have compared our expereince with those travelling with Katerina who, for a very similar price, experienced an amazing choice of food, including 4 dinners,barista coffee and had a tour guide to assist at all locations explaining and taking them to the points of interest. The ship could not be faulted nor the attentiveness of the crew.

For the price paid, bottled water should be provided in cabins. A few of the lunches were very good but-many of them were not good. the first day’s beef was over cooked & tough. The second day’s fish was over cooked & dry. The captain’ s dinner was excellent. In Hvar we were brought in by water taxi & the yacht stayed out until almost 9 o’clock & had to sit around all day waiting to get back on board. Exhausting sitting waiting after dinner to board. No place to sit if you had already left the restaurant. Just sitting around killing time. We had a below deck cabin, which was recommended by the agent because they are quieter. She did not tell us that we had to climb three flights of stairs every time we wanted to go up to the top deck where everyone congregated. We are both 80 & she should have known that when she made the recommendation. Is it something that I would recommend? Yes! Swimming in the Adriatic every day was wonderful & the islands are beautiful.

The trip itinerary was fabulous and the Captain and crew very efficient. Mateo, the cruise director, had a great sense of humour with very informative daily updates. Swim stops were ideal as the weather was very hot. Don’t expect 5 Star but the cabin was comfortable, clean and functional for a small boat. The chef was very accommodating for dietary requirements and on the whole the food was good but it occasionally missed the mark. Our recommendation is to bring your own pillow. I would definitely take this trip for the scenery and history of beautiful Croatia.

The boat was fantastic and crew were great. We didn’t give a 5* as felt that there could have been improvements in some areas. Catering on a boat is not easy but food at lunch was rather repetitive and some days both courses were fish and others all meat - sauces all similar. I would prefer to eat lunch on outside deck rather than in dining room. At swim stops some paddle boards or inflatables would have been nice.. Bathroom towels were very hard and scratchy - should have been soft and fluffy as rest of boat was luxurious. An honesty bar with selected drinks would have been useful for those returning after midnight - even if just beer and wine.

My fellow passengers were fantastic and we all gelled together quickly, enjoying all the islands had to offer in one another’s company. I have had a brilliant time, laughed a lot and eaten fabulous meals on board all against a backdrop of stunningly beautiful scenery. I can’t recommend Sail Croatia enough for a fabulous holiday.

Undoubtly, the better way to visit islands and seaside of Croatia. BRAC - The stop at Milna is pointless.... better should we dock in Bol, just like other boats.

Would prefer much more time onshore at less tourist ridden stops. Coffee and tea in the evening should be included free of charge. Better communication about stops and options for making the most of e@ch stop

Here is what made our cruise so special. 1. Big room. 2. Great staff - very helpful and friendly. 3. Great passengers - British, Australians, and Americans. 4. Great sites, 5. Nice pace. 6. Good food. 7. The opportunity to swim each day.

We were 36 passengers and all mixed well. Lucky with perfect weather. All staff were fabulous. Food was nice mix of local, traditional and western. When we stopped for anchored swims they were glorious, would have loved it if we had had time for them daily. Island stops fun and interesting.

Great week with Sail Croatia from Split to Dubrovnik. We were on the Olimp which is a beautiful boat and Captain Renato was brilliant. The staff were very attentive and eager to please and great to be with. Antonio our guide could not do enough for us and told some funny stories each day at lunch. He also made sure we were first to visit the blue cave so had zero waiting time which is an achievement. The cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable and freshened up daily. The facilities on the boat met our expectations and was spacious enough that you could be with a group of people, or find a quiet spot to read uninterrupted. We were never hungry - food mostly excellent. A great group of fellow travellers the week that we sailed and the weather was superb. We had some fabulous swim stops and were so totally relaxed by the time we got to Dubrovnik that it was a bit of a shock to have to readjust to real life. The only improvement I would suggest is to make tea and coffee freely available.

The standard of the boat. Super clean all the time. Crew were all friendly and always helpful. Antonio was amazing. Gave us great introductions to each port and helped with all our arrangements.. had a very happy week.

The travel route of the Split - South was what made this a 4 star rating. I would not make this trip much later in the year as it was plenty hot already. The cities visited were great and add to the high rating. The ship itself is nice. The things that took away from a perfect score were: 1. the food and 2. the cruise adviser. I had explained prior to purchase I was vegetarian and would not purchase if could not b accommodated. My meal preparation was not done well at all. Even the breakfast was sub-par; all food that was supposed to b hot wasn't and vice versa. For example, cold eggs and hot cheese. For the first 2 days people were commenting on the "lack of" food and were hungry. 2. Ivan did not have many facts accurate and am not sure why. Maybe he was told we would swim 2 hours but then it was really 20 minutes, for example. Also the times that things were open were incorrect: the nun lace monastery and the shell museum. He also seemed to just make stuff up when you asked him.

Constructive criticism, not sour grapes, these issues damage your brand Water in cabins daily, it’s not potable Shampoo, conditioner and tissues Quality white towels, as they were thin, discoloured and scratchy, changed more than once weekly, as they won’t dry in cabin Shower cleaned to a higher standard on checkin, understand cleaner only has an hour between changeover, ridiculous, get her help, they need bleach and a good scrub to remove obvious black scum. Ice on the table at meals ( which Antonio addressed) as the weather is hot and it’s unpleasant drinking warm water, your self serve outdoor water dispenser needs to be plugged in so it’s cold! These are minor but important. I made Antonio aware of these issues, echoed by the other guests on Day 1, who by the way is a great asset to you, he apparently notified head office., disappointing the simplest request, put water in the cabins didn’t eventuate! Cruise itself, and staff was excellent! The problems easily fixed!

With maximum passenger capacity of about 40 people, Sail Croatia cruises are just the right size to achieve a really friendly atmosphere. The boat was kept in immaculate condition and one felt safe and well looked-after. The food was rather unimaginative but, given the ridiculously small kitchen it’s a wonder they were able to get anything onto the table at all! Special praise must be reserved for all the crew and staff without whom these Sail Croatia cruises would be no more than average. Polite, well-trained, good humoured, extremely hard-working - nothing was too much trouble for them and their contribution to customer enjoyment was invaluable. They all seem to work with no supervision or management so the company (and its passengers) are very lucky indeed to be able to rely on such a high calibre of personnel.

There is no sound proofing outside the cabin so you can hear people talking in the hallways, doors opening, tables being moved above the cabin, made it very difficult to sleep. Very few people swam so stopping for this made the time with nothing to do too long. Other than the walking tour in Dubrovnik no others, would be more interesting to have more walking tours. I was surprised there were not more food options. No drinking water in the rooms was irritating. Only juice option was some kind of adulterated orange. There was too much time confined to the boat. Having people wandering through from other boats was strange and made me feel a little unsafe. If you pay extra to have the upper cabins, half the time your view is blocked and the room is dark because another ship is docked right next to you. There was a jacuzzi but not enough power to heat it and since the boat was docked right next to another boat people would be staring over at you.

It was nice that the group was very similar in age. We bonded within a day and had many drinks and dinners together even when off the boat. We were all English first language speakers from around d the globe. Staying in port overnight is a great fun thing. This makes this cruise different from others on the big ships. The staff and the captain were very good. The wait staff tried hard. I'm not sure if lack of English made them uncomfortable. The breakfast and lunches were good. The chef got an ovation for two of the lunches. The Captains dinner evening was a fun night with speeches and jokes and music from the guests. we all stayed on the boat and enjoyed ourselves. The bar could use a wider selection of alcohol and especially liqueurs. More than just the basics. The complimentary wine served with lunch could be upgraded. Croatia and the islands were beautiful. The people were friendly. This would be a recommended way to see this part of the world.
