Really enjoyed my travel with Sail Croatia. Only real negative is that the filter coffee was not great. Loved our guides.

The sights and views are amazing, it’s a very beautiful scenic view, other than that there were a lot of issues, shot glasses on boat were never cleaned, they would just repour into the same glasses that were left on the table, very unsanitary, meals were okay most days but we were still worried about the sanitation of that too, our tour guide was awesome, crew was okay, wouldn’t port until after 2-3pm each day which seemed odd too, missed out on a lot of the morning scenes and shows at each stop, our itinerary from the website didn’t match at all to what we actually did, missed 2 of our stops and stayed in another location for 2 days instead of 1, they would blame the weather yet sky’s were clear the whole time, felt trapped on the boat some of the days, forced into “swim stops” that most people were not interested in and wanted to explore Croatia more. Met good people and had some fun besides those hiccups, nice way to see the most of Croatia in a 7 day span

Given that we were there during a terrible heat wave that made all the hikes more difficult but that said, only one or two of the hikes was at all interesting. Most were just up and down very steep rocky trails. Climbing to a summit without a real destination and turning around and going back was and was extremely tedious. Rock shale seems to be the normal path. It was difficult and not pleasant to walk on.. The boat was fine - not great - and the towns were all big tourist stops. I was glad to see the islands but we never escaped the crowds. Crew on the boat was fantastic.

The trip was very good. The staff was great. I enjoyed the tour. Food was solid, but not phenomenal. I enjoyed the island visits but disappointed to miss Vis (understand that was weather related). I wish we had more opportunities to visit towns earlier in day. I'd rate this probably higher overall, about 4.25.

Ship was great. Crew was great. Food was great. Cycling was good. Each day should be a minimum of 40 km. 5 and 10 km days were disappointing. Guide should be prepared to quickly repair a flat tire. One day we spent an hour idling while he dealt with that, since he didn’t have the right tools. He should have sent us down the hill to the beach. Overall the briefs need to clearly and briefly state the aims of the ride and how much time in each stop. Electric and regular bikes do not mix. Too much waiting around for the regular riders. A group of 30 or more cyclists is too big to manage. Group size should be 15 max. Overall a great trip.

Overall our holiday was excellent. Great locations and a great crew who went above and beyond to make its success. Only three things I would highlight as opportinited for improvement: 1. Tipping: If the company and the crew have to propose a level for tipping this suggests that the crew wages are insufficient and you are relying ib tips to make them up. I would prefer you set the right wages, adjust the price for guests and leave tipping at the guests' discretion and at a much lower level. 2. The crew asked us to fill out the feedback form in their presence when we settled the bar tab. This wont give you candid feedback. Better to do it afterwards remotely like this. 3. The food was good but not as good as I would expect and most importantly the coffee was way too strong and unfiltered. Get a coffee machine.

Was a great time on the Queen Jelena -- Vedrun our tour manager was lovely and super informative. Ship was elegant and rooms were a good size, Food was overall very good onboard. A great way to relax and see Croatia without the trouble of moving hotels. Would be good if the ship left the coffee machine on all day. Also, Sail Croatia should include a few drinks per meal as part of the package. But definitely worth it -- an amazing vacation!

We had a great time on the Mlini. The crew was outstanding particularly the food which was much better than expected. Toma was our guide and was a great guide and friend to everyone. They worked hard to make it a great week. They deserve a raise Few areas to improve on: inform passengers if they boat isn’t full. It’s quite disappointing when you arrive to find the boat is half full leaving much to be desired from the social aspect. Also, recommend decreasing the number of excursions and increasing the quality.

Dino was a very good tour leader, esp. nominating specific restaurants to eat evening meals at on each island we frequented. The crew were attentive, the cabin cleaning staff were top notch. Swim stops were great. Food was good but there seemed to be an extensive use of puréed vegetables! Music played non stop inside the boat even if no one was there? Still, a good experience.

Once I made the payment, the Sales Representative literally stopped caring about my queries. I had to follow multiple times to underthings and to merely arrange a call back. I was not provided detailed description about my yatch and itinerary which I had requested multiple times. I regret not taking all the details before making the payment. After Sales Service is very bad. Our Skipper was amazing and other guests were nice because of which we were able to enjoy. Else the itinerary is very bad, you take us to island at odd timings because of which we are not able to explore the island properly and missed famous activities because of the timings we are reaching the island. The whole experience could be so much better by just better planning and not wasting time unnecessarily.

We had a really good time on board the Salve di Mare, Split to Dubrovnik. The food was very tasty, every staff member was friendly and professional, and the ship was spotless and well appointed. The swim stops were mostly incredible (the last one near Dubrovnik was less special and secluded than the others). We didn't get to do the Blue Cave tour as scheduled; still not sure why not. My only real criticism is that the ship didn't have karaoke!! 😜

Very well organised from start to finish. Daily briefings, amazing rides (v easy on electric bike) and plenty of tasty food ! Cabins were quite basic but were en suite and had air-con. Plenty of time to sunbathe on deck or visit the islands. Some extra excursions and meals organised for those who wanted to but no pressure to go. All the staff were great esp our group leader Calum (& Srdan) - who had a great knowledge of the Croatian history as well as sorting any issues out throughout the week such as food preferences and general recommendations. Average age was around 60 on the boat (the Mali Luka) with a lovely bunch mainly from USA and Australia and NZ. Busy week as up early but a great way to explore the lovely islands. Water so clean and refreshing. All the towns well kept. Pebble beaches (not sand). We did Split to Dubrovnik route then had a couple of nights in hotel in Lapad (Dub) to relax. Thanks Sail Croatia for a memorable trip !

It was very fair, the weather was excellent and the staff on the ship were very good. Friendly, helpful and provide excellent service. The food on board were excellent and both the chef and his helper did an exception job. Considering with a small kitchen and serve 29 people daily. Your manager did a excellent job. The biggest issues is the itinerary. Way too much idle time. I am a veteran of river cruises and this is certainly no comparison to those programs. May I suggest that perhaps add some more activities to each island that we visited. Alternate lunch and dinner on board. On the final stop, Dubrovnik, sail pass with the view of the old town must be added. For the life of me, I can't believe we didn't do it. Instead we had a swim just outside for an hour just to wait for docking, is the fuel that expensive?

The ship Emanuel is a well renovated 1955 small passenger ship with maximizing passenger carrying at expense of cabin space. The ship is rated standard when the brochure said Premier grade for the hiking cruise. Food was unimaginative but acceptable and drinks overpriced. Tea and coffee should be freely available during the day. The cabin was clean with a hard and lumpy bed, noise from outside was a problem at times as we were on the corridor connecting other ships alongside and music was often loud but finished at 11pm. Crew and guides were friendly and helpful but more info on the history and other information about the places visited would be good. The cruise itself visited some wonderful places and i wouldn't have missed it but things could have been done better.

Cabin:: + adequate space. -- cigarette smoke frequently entered our cabin (15) via the a/c system. As nonsmokers w tobacco allergies, It was very problematic as it started early in the morning and last into the late evening affecting our sleep. Ship: + nice facilities and layout. — the not hot, hot tub was not filled until 1/2 way thru the cruise. And then not really utilized. Recommend repurposing that space for 6 more lounges so most passengers can have a lounge. Food: + passionate chef and assistant. Hot food available w breakfast and lunches. Really good quality. Service was great (Mario). Bar: + staff friendly and helpful. — unfortunately wines by the glass were restricted to one brand and were of poor quality and overpriced. You pay € for all beverages, tea, coffee, sodas, juices and again more than what u pay in ports. Coffee,tea,and juices only provided at breakfast. For lunch, only water served. Easy to have added inexpensive iced tea. Active:: + pleasant staff - disorganiz

Great! loved the cycling and the tour guides. Our days out on the bikes were absolutely great. Both Marin and Martin did everything they could to make the trip enjoyable. My concerns were with things that were in the Captains control: 1. Why was air conditioning not on every night? not on for both first and last night which is poor. 2. bedding was sub par at best, poor quality and could have used an extra pillow. 3. Food was not great. I feel an al a carte menu would have been better as this was eat what you get which really was not appealing to me for a trip with this price. Our daughter was with us, she eats vegetarian and her food was absolutely terrible. Boris, the chef, needs to do better! 4. on board bar was poorly stocked. We would have used this service if items were available but it was basically just one wine and draft beer.

Boat crew were efficient. The two guides were knowledgable and helpful. Overall, the ride was fantastic with very good bikes and very amazing scenery.. HOWEVER, we did book and pay for a cabin with double bed. But instead got a single bed on one side and a bunk bed on the other side of the cabin which was dissapointing.

Although the entire experience was outstanding I do have a couple of points: 1.) As an experienced cyclist, I had no issues but I did see some areas of saftey that could be improved. There was confusion throughout the day as directions were, at times, incomplete and vague. 2.) Food was another issue as items at breakfast would run out and the main course lunches were mediocre. 3.) Coffee is always an issue for me and yours was the worst. (Sorry) 4.) I didn't understand why we couldn't pay our bar tab with a credit card. Many were short on cash and had to rush to an ATM. 5.) Whatsapp feature was great, would of been nice to get the days briefing in advance of actual briefing at 8:30 so we could follow along and have questions prepared. All in all our tour guides were friendly and well informed about the areas we visited and I would recommend this tour to friends The boat was immaculate and comfortable. Great way to see Croatia for the first time.

Katerina is owned and crewed by the family. This is a 5 star rating. Ship is spotless and crew are the best. Owner and crew (mostly family and cousins) are so attentive to every detail. Meals: adequate and enjoyable but not outstanding. Captains' dinner was very good. Activities: not memorable. Walking tour in Dubrovnik was boring. Ship provided dinner was not impressive. Should have stayed in port and gone to local restaurant Ioana our tour director was 5 stars' She had to deal with a lot of shifting itinerary and was a truly shing star for the passengers. Overall was a nice experience. Met a lot of good people and that was a big plus; Croatia is very expensive on the street Plan to spend some BIG $$ in local establishments. Overall, a check on our bucket list. Nice but would not do again

Our bike tour leaders Marin and Ilona were fantastic. Highly skilled, organized, caring and kept our group very safe. I thoroughly appreciated, as well enjoyed spending time with them. Sail Croatia should highly regard both these staff. A big 6 out of 5 for these two. They went way above beyond what was well beyond the minimum they needed to do.

We sailed on the Queen Jelena (Split North itinerary). Beautiful boat, really good crew. The food onboard was just OK, often just warm rather than hot. A 3 course lunch is not what most people have day to day at home and the thoughts from fellow passengers were thst this was a bit rigid and maybe a buffet style lighter lunch would be better as it felt you had breakfast and a couple of hours later a large lunch making you lethargic. Trips were ok, village dinner was good, buggy trip was good but not best value. More time needed in Dubrovnik as it beautiful, I would skip the walking tour (pointless) and enjoy more time exploring yourself. All stops on this itinerary were beautiful. One last point; the daily briefing should be carried out using the TV in the saloon as shown on the website content so you can actually get a visual idea of your day ahead. The WhatsApp group is useful when it's set up. Overall a good experience, 7.5/ 10

Swim stops. Port visits. Particularly Korcula and Omiš. Barman ‘Milan’ was a genuine, nice guy. I still believe our room ‘0’ was bigger than others. I asked and was told the rooms were the same size, however when I peeked into a twin room ours was definitely larger! Not so great - Breakfast was monotonous, same every day. Really need a FOC push button coffee machine for use throughout day. The American drip coffee was rubbish and yes paid for the nespresso style coffee from the bar but e3.50 for something not that good. Our window leading outside next to the door required a curtain as well as the twisted Venetian blind there. I had to put up a makeshift curtain to block out the exterior downlights rays coming in. We spoke to a couple who were on a Sail Croatia boat with the same timings as ours and they raved about the food, as prepared by ‘two mamas’ who obviously cooked from the heart. Unlike our chefs!!

Captain, tour guides and front line staff were great. Room was not great with a bed that you could feel the metal springs, lumpy pillows, lights that didn’t work, safe that wasn’t opened, Generator noise was intrusive into the room during the night. In port the boats were often racked together so that you had to pass through multiple boats to get onto shore. This also trapped diesel exhaust fumes on still nights, making staying outside at the back of the boat uncomfortable.

We were on the Esperanza which is an excellent facility. The food and service were outstanding. I think every port stop should include a walking tour. I think it would be good to have the boat docked while we are at lunch so you could walk off immediately after lunch. Our cruise director Mia worked very hard to keep everything organized. Unfortunately she is difficult to understand as her speech is very rapid fire. The guests got to know each and all were friendly. Lovely overall experience!

Sailing on the Olimp with Sail Croatia was, overall, a very good experience. The boat itself was fantastic, and the crew were excellent. However, a couple of things did take the shine off the trip. Firstly, in the cabins there’s a constant whirring from the extractor fans throughout the night. The air-conditioning is fine, but these bathroom fans never switch off. We asked for them to be turned off, which they kindly did on the first night, but for the rest of the week we had to put up with the noise—such a shame. Secondly, breakfast was always served in the dining area, which is air-conditioned, but with all the doors kept closed the sound of 30 people chatting becomes deafening. It seems such a missed opportunity not to let guests spread out onto the aft deck, where there’s fresh air and space for the noise to dissipate.

The highlight of a Sail Croatia cruise are the incredible islands you visit and the fun activities available on all. our guide, Vedran, combined with the absolutely lovely ship Queen Jelena and it's expert captain/owner (Gordan? sorry), combined for a wonderful experience. Exploring the Dalmatian Coast this way was amazing and everything we hoped it would it be, and was so much more. Vedran informed, educated, coddled and tolerated all of us crazy tourists with grace, humor, and bottomless patience. The captain found us the most beautiful swimming spots each day, and navigated through the islands so smoothly, especially during the few rough waters we had. The boat is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and relatively brand new (2018)! My only quibbles would be with the kitchen. The Captain's dinner was one of the best meals we had in our 2 weeks in Croatia (and probably the most fun!), and all the lunches were lovely (though the chef could have used a lighter touch with the tuna steaks and racks of lamb to better represent his skills). We just wish the breakfast window was longer and less rigid.

We had a really lovely time. We were lucky enough to only have 16 people on our boat which meant we had lots of space and there was no issues getting deckchairs etc. I would imagine that with 40 people on board the boat would feel a little cramped, and getting a deckchair might be something of a challenge. The boat itself is beautiful and well looked after. The staff were really lovely and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the food was not good and certainly didn't math the price point. This was an opinion was shared by many of the other guests. Besides this, everything else on the boat was great. The Itinerary (Split - Dubrovnik) was great. The stops were beautiful and the excursions offered were on the whole really great. Overall it was a great experience and we had a lovely time.

The ship was immaculately fitted out, crew were friendly, helpful and courteous. Food was substantial and generally good standard. But not gourmet as photography on brochures suggested. The islands were interesting and great to explore, however, a couple had very little to keep us occupied and exploring( notably Brac). Sail Croatia events coordinator was always helpful and available to help and plan for each stopover.. We felt that more entertainment in evenings even one more early on in cruise would have brought guests and crew together . The evening dinner on one of the islands was extremely disappointing, both for location and the meal itself.

Our trip was good overall. The boat was fantastic, and the crew did a great job. The swim stops were good fun for the first few days, but it got a bit repetitive after a while, especially when it goes for multiple hours. This however also means we get limited time at each destination. Just enough to have dinner before the sun sets, walk around a little, and then the boat is off by 7 or 8am the next morning. Also, we booked the explorer cruise thinking it wasnt the young party cruise, nor the golden oldies cruise. We were hoping for a mid age crowd with like minded people - this wasn't really the case. I will say though however, the people we did share the boat with were all a pleasure. It delivered what was advertised. But if I knew then what I know now, I'd probably just have booked my own trip through croatia, giving us more time in locations where we want to be and not wasting days at locations with little to offer or waiting to dock.

Food quality - Near prison food. Fish was dry, food unseasoned at all. Your best dishes were soup and 1 pasta meal. Drink prices - total rip off your drink prices rivalled Hvar.. Communication * This involves calling hvar the party island even though it is no longer as such, also being told 2 days before the end of the trip we could order eggs for breakfast..* Pay your workers decent wages. Being told that they are paid less because tips are expected is a joke. Your not America. Tips are standard in a terrible country like America to get around the fact they have shitty minimum wage laws. If you offered me this trip again for free I would refuse. I also will be letting anyone who ever asks me about sailing through Croatia not to bother. They would be better off organising a private car / ferry transportation to a select few islands that would still end up cheaper than the price you charge.

Everyone on the Afrodita works so hard, the ship was very well maintained and the food was great. The hike guides very good and well informed. The trails were not maintained by any standards basically goat paths. I slipped and fell on first hike injured my leg, cuts and bruised on the loose sharp rock. The guides Martin and ILona were great. Martin applied bandages to my leg to stop the bleeding then helped me finish the last kilometer back to the boat. I had to skip the hike the next day and only did 5 of the 7 hikes opting to do the easiest. Looking back I wish I knew the trail conditions, the length and elevations were all that I remember and the hikes were moderate. Next time we will do the elegant cruse. I wish I could give 5 stars.

Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful trip on our bike-boat trip in May 2025. The guides were very good and kept us well informed. The bikes were very good quality and easy to ride. My only criticism is that my wife and I slept in separate small beds in our cabin. We would’ve clearly preferred to be in a single bed together at night as we have been for 40 years. All in all, this was a very successful vacation for my wife and myself.

Loved the week on the ship. Met some great people. Mostly from Australia, UK and USA. Particularly enjoyed the swim stops. Great food too. Be aware though that the ship docks late afternoon in each location so some of the advertised shore excursions will not happen. We found this disappointing and would recommend Sail Croatia only promote those excursions that have a realistic chance of going ahead.

Great crew all round. Extremely professional and courteous. Very high standards of comfort and cleanliness. Very professional Tour guide , perfect touch and interaction with all passengers. Only complaint is breakfast is too early to close at 9.00am, also it was a direct shut down at that time. Even at 9.o5 am the coffee and tea was closed, leaving the only option was to purchase. Tea and coffee. That station should be available all day subject to cruising condition.

Anton and Karla our cruise / bike leaders did well with the large group of cyclists that were on-board the Princez Diana. Delaying a couple of rides due to weather and adding an additional ride for the island that we missed due to the weather. However, some of the riders did not like the fact that the additional 20km added for this additional ride were not given the option of missing it as it was stated before the start of the ride the group was told the additional ride would be optional. The kitchen staff were outstanding with excellent choices made for B / L and Dinners that we were given on the boat. I would've appreciated coffee included with lunch or dinner though not just breakfast. As for the room (Cabin #5) it was adequate as we did not have a working safe - staff said someone would fix it but that was never done. The venting in the bathroom was not good and the annoying relay pump sound was pretty bad when anyone was using water on the boat. I would recommend the cruise.

We reserved a few years ago but then the COVID Pandemic landed. We had to cancel and Sail Croatia were so great to deal with. A full refund no hassle. We rebooked six months ago and just returned home. We were on the ESperanza Dubrovnik return. Boarding was easy. We met with Mia the cruise director. Such a lovely warm kind person. She was so organised . We got great information and recommendations where to go when ashore. The food was very good . Anna and Antonio were our servers and bar tenders. Nothing was too much trouble to them. The weather was not the best but the captain and the sailors had to rearrange the itinerary to avoid the rough seas at times. We felt safe at all times and managed swim stops in secluded bays every day. Overall we loved it. We made new friends who we will keep in contact with. Two small areas that could improve. The hairdryer in the room wasn't great so I'm told. Also the ladders for getting back onboard after swimming need to be longer. Excellent.

We had a great time, all 28 people from all over the world, got on fantastically well. The bikes were of a good quality and everyone managed to get on really well with the e-bike I would have liked some longer rides, the longest ride was only about 50 kms, I would have liked to do this every day. The sail Croatia jersey, should be free to all and a day set aside when everyone wears it. I was the only person that bought a jersey and it certainly was not worth the £50 paid. We only swam off the boat twice and this was something we were looking forward to, This trip is not cheap and I realise we had one of the better boats, but with payment of food when off the boat and more expensive drinks when on the boat, our limit of spending was soon exceeded, to be then expected to pay for tips and what was an expensive payment was above what we could afford. The crew should not have to rely on tips and should be covered on the initial spend. I would be happy to talk more if requested.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Excellent exercise to work off the meals! Our guides were super, well organized, and very hospitable. Met people from all over the world. Comfortable ship, Well organized itinerary. Enjoyed the swimming, particularly on hot August days! One thing to note is that it was not clear on the website nor from the saleswoman with whom we corresponded if the "total ascent/descent" for a day is combined ascent & descent or the amount one ascends and additionally descends. It is the amount one ascends and then descends as well. For example if a day's total ascend/descend is 640 meters (as ours was listed on Day 3), that means you will climb a total of 640m and then descend a total of 640m.

The boat has everything from under 18 to 65 year Olds plus. Given we spend most of the time on the boat it's frustrating that you put people who have limited interest groups or different stages of life. We were told this was suited to 30 to 40 year Olds. The experiences and tours were all for old people and the boat has very limited toys or experiences so all you can do is eat bad food, sunbake and drink to put up with the small talk - give more information to people prior to joining as Croatia is lovely but this isn't a great way to do it

Our tour/customer representative, Barbra, was great. The islands were good with a couple of things. We didn't get to explore Vis much since we stayed korcula.. Korcula was great. We stayed in Mijet which was not worth the stop. As for the food. Breakfast was good but could have had more options instead of eggs. Lunch was over the top each day. The food was good. The night before and the day of decorating, we felt rushed off the boat. We had to be off by 9am. Jacuzzi was emptied the night before and could not be used. Did not understand why decorating time could not have been around 11.. The staff was great and the swim stops we a pleasure.

On arrival we were greeted by Ioana who welcomed us in a very professional and courteous manner. The ship Olimp was amazing. Very modern and clean. The crew were equally professional and a special mention must go to our housekeeper. She was the BEST. Our cabin was always cleaned with fresh towels which made our experience even more enjoyable knowing that everything was clean. Ioana who was in charge of cruise went over and above to ensure everything was perfect for all the guests on board. The stunning coastline and scenery provided the backdrop for a very pleasant and relaxing cruise amongst the islands between Split and Dubrovnik. The crew were excellent and looked after us very well. Food quality was excellent. Fellow passengers became friends and added to the convivial atmosphere. The only negative we experienced was excessive noise at the berths in two of the ports where we were unfortunately berthed beside boats with raucous Americans who stayed up way beyond the general curfew. Some noise is always a risk and indeed, this was flagged. However when it comes from another boat it’s profoundly irritating and detracts from the cruising experience. We would recommend Sail Croatia products, with the advisory about noise.

You don’t have enough characters to accurately describe my disappointment. My partner has a deadly allergy to peanuts and this was not taken seriously by the crew or comply. Was served a meal with peanuts in it and after only a small bite had an immediate reaction. Upon medicating herself other guest sort her out to ask her if her if she had eaten the meal since they could taste and see peanut chunks. The chef lied and said no nuts only to confirm to myself and another guest that the stuff that was in peanut was in the meal but he “only put a little bit in” so thought it would be okay. After being informed my partner could have died then changed his story again to say there was no nuts. This company did not follow any precautions to make sure the safety of my girlfriend’s life and then has gone on to say she is at fault and can not blame them since she didn’t need the hospital. We had an ED nurse on board and multiple epipens so we were able to assess and monitor the situation ourselfs

Enjoyed the trip and the other passengers with similar interests. We were all generally the same age group with extensive travel experience. It was a great group of people I rated it 3-1/2 out of 5 because having to keep 34 cyclists together was VERY time consuming. We ended up stopping and waiting often on busy roads or uphills.. which made it difficult for some to start again. . I feel you should break the groups to 16 per. One group slower and one faster. We had traditional cyclist in the group (kudos to them, as there were some steep sections) but it had us waiting often. one time more than 45 minutes.. I feel we could have seen more and done a lot more cycling if it was split out. I think most of the participants felt that way.. I would do another trip based on my experience. If all the cyclists were on e-bikes. The food was delicious and plentiful and the cooks, waiters, seaman and staff were amazing.

We decided to enjoy the bike/sail option from Split to Dubrovnik. Every portion of the trip found beautiful scenery. Our guides and the boat crew were excellent, and were quick to make adjustments as rough sea weather rolled in one day. Even though we do a lot of biking at home, we were very thankful to have gone with the e-bike bike option for this trip. We were disappointed the hot tub on our boat was not available. Having that as an option after biking or swimming would have been nice. The crew did a great job of accommodating individual food requirements. Thanks for a very nice week!

The crew on the Afrodita were brilliant very helpful and obliging. They were 5 star the only reason l submitted a 4 star was because of the poor ventilation In the below deck cabins. The trip was good! The food was average! Would have liked to gone on longer bike rides on all seven islands. The boat did not provide blankets for bedding. The Itinerary changed sometimes, just needed to be informed sooner. The two guides were excellent, provided a safe and enjoyable experience. I would like the tip to be included in the price of the trip, it becomes awkward to find a medium price. The bikes were good but longer rides would have been great! Was a fun trip and weather was fantastic. Only down side was the quality of the boat and the quality of the food. Food was bland, stodgy and without any vegetables or salad. Boat had many issues including no hot water, door handle fell off and air conditioning didn’t work. However the crew was genuine and friendly.

Sail Croatia is a customer oriented company and we are glad we sailed with them. The ports we visited were fantastic. The ability to select from a number of organized tours at each port or just do your own thing was much appreciated. Croatia is a beautiful country and we felt safe and welcomed everywhere we went. However, there are a few things you should consider. You don’t get to most ports until mid afternoon each day so might have less exploration time than you anticipated. The breakfast selections were great but lunches and dinners are at set times and set menus. We loved it but be aware you get what they serve. Our lower level room was very nice, but it was only serviced a couple times in the whole week and twice we had to ask for things like toilet paper, garbage to be emptied and dry towels. Oddly enough other rooms had the same issues while others were tended to daily which was weird. No idea why the discrepancy, but the final assessment is we had fun and would do it again.

The ship was clean, spacious and well laid out. Good facilities and very comfortable way to travel. The staff were a mixed bag, some you would rate as a 5 for hospitality and some a 1, inconsistent. Host (Vicko) was good, he engaged with all the groups based on each style that suited (i.e. more or less engaged). The chef was good (as was the bfast) but nothing else worked for me, I don't think serving a 3 course meal for lunch with the ingredients we ate worked. Our first meal was a Turkey breast - probably the last thing I wanted to eat when visiting Croatia. From meatloaf to chicken it felt a bit silly being served that food for 3 course meals. Whilst the captain's dinner was ok, our entire table had a second meal (coincidentally the best food we ate of the trip) in the one location they scheduled the captain's dinner. My recommendation: examine each ships reviews and ratings (food, staff etc) and then decide based on that. A bit too inconsistent across the Sail Croatia fleet.

After four weeks of independent traveling through major cities, the pace of the seven day cruise was very welcome and needed. The daily routine of a generous buffet breakfast, relaxing on the deck before a swim and then a three course lunch before departing for shore for the afternoon, was very pleasant in the beautiful weather we had. The cruise offered a glimpse of the beautiful cities and islands Croatia has to offer, which I would now like to explore further. We had two evening meals and a lavish wine and cheese night on board too. Daily activities are offered at an extra cost, with some requiring minimum numbers to go ahead. Most people on our cruise were retired or nearing retirement and shared many common interests, (particularly travel) which created a great atmosphere. Staff were terrific.

We loved our trip with Sail Croatia on the Olimp. Wonderful ports, beautiful swim stops, lovely food, pleasant hard working staff. However, our trip was spoilt but poor communication prior to us leaving home as we did not know that all payments once on board were to be in cash. For a cruise of this luxury status, we find this unbelievable, but prior knowledge would have enabled us to better prepared and not worry every day about what we were spending.

First impression on boarding our allocated ship Eos, a three masted motor sailer, was we had drawn the short straw. It wasn’t as modern or sleek as most of the cruisers around us in Split harbour and our below deck cabin was tiny and cramped. However what followed was a week of brilliant fun and adventure that made the shortcomings of the accommodation seem a minor point. A new picture postcard location every day, beautiful ports, swim stops in secluded bays and a great group of fellow travellers from around the globe who we got to know on our daily hikes and evenings in the local bars cafes and restaurants. Our guides Mate and Lola were knowledgeable, responsible but also fun. The crew were great and the food on board was varied and tasty. The hikes were challenging but rewarding too, though I personally would have preferred more climbs with a bar at the top! We made some great friends and have fabulous memories of our week around the Islands of Croatia. Thanks to all.

The actual tour itinerary was very good, although the 30km days need to be longer. The guides communications skills need to be improved and the rooms are EXTREMELY basic. Food was filling and had a home cooked flair to it. We were on a premier boat and really would have liked something with better rooms. Boat staff were excellent.

The ship was very nicely appointed. It was clean and comfortable. The cruise destinations were all very special and memorable. I really enjoyed my time with Sail Croatia. Our tour guide, Mia, was excellent. Pamela and Toemo stood out amongst the crew. They worked diligently and were very pleasant. There were a few areas of opportunity for improvement. The crew (Sailors) could have been much more friendlier. A simple smile and hello when passing guest would make a big difference. They would not even acknowledge you. The food presentation and service was very good. The food quality and taste needs a lot of improvement. The food was either very bland (no flavor) or very salty. The desserts were good, but the meals (lunches/dinner) were not. The coffee on the boat was terrible! This is such a simple offering that goes a long way. It was instant coffee and it was only offered until noon everyday. Thank you

The tour guides and boat crew were all fantastic, friendly people that knew what they were doing and were super accommodating. The bike rides were great. We saw a lot of the islands by bike. The meals on the ship were ok, but not great. Certainly, there was plenty of food. Our cabin was not great. It was always damp even with the A/C running. Towels never dried out and the bed always felt clammy.

Attentiveness of the entire crew and guides. Enjoyrd the planned stops, options to explore solo or with our cycling guide Mila. Food prepared by the chef was top notch and covered a wide range of mediterranian fare. The cabin my gf and i had was much bigger than expected and very comfortable. I do wish the rides had been a little longer but as discussed with our guides, not all groups are avid cyclists. Other than that the routes were pleasant. Coming from the states, getting used to a heavy smoking culuture did detract a bit.

Friendly staff, comfortable cabins and great food. All of the overnight stops were at beautiful islands with plenty of things to do. Only down sides were that our boat Almissa had no shade in the top deck and the only covered area downstairs was full of smokers. OK if you smoke but not if you don’t. They also need to be aware of where they empty sewer. On two occasions toilet paper and excrement was pumped out while we were swimming. Overall though, nice cruise.

Food great except the 3d printed fish. The fish was always terrible. Everything else exceed expectations. Swim spots were the best part of the entire experience. One night on anchor for captins dinner should be apart of the cruise as having a great night for it to be cut short at 11 sucks. If people want to do things on the island have an agreed pick up time and pick up with the boat on the sundeck. Rooms all good. Crew amazing. Clara was good but she doesn't deviate from script when it came for things to do. Excursions were ok. The dinner was awesome. The buggies were the biggest ripoff ever. They were falling to pieces. Slow and break downs. 60€ pp for two people so €120 total for two hours.. I've hired brand new quads for 80€ and had for 24hrs and free exploration. Overall was great though Chepers

The group would mean the difference between a good time and an awesome time. We were lucky. I did find the breakfasts a little tedious with the same items served up every day with almost no variety. The cabins were clean, but the curtains need to be upgraded to block out light. Great atmosphere on boat with good interaction amongst travellers from varying demographic and nationality. Ability to do other activities at stops would have been appreciated. Was a bit same same with dock in location and walk around town. Swimming stops were much appreciated but could have included a few more accessories like stand up board etc other than just flotation noodles. Tour guide did a good job but was reluctant to make recommendations. Internet access was just adequate. Meals were plentiful but lunch with a sit down meal was a bit heavy and a smorgasbord like breakfast would have sufficed. Ability to pay drinks bill at end by card would be preferred rather than cash with itemised account expected. Overall though thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend.

Spacious cabin (more so than expected as we had an extra bed). The crew and fellow passengers were great, and the scenery of the country is simply awesome. Just a few very minor tweaks would have made all the difference; better pillows (flat and uncomfortable) and bedding; a catch to hold the bathroom door and stop it swinging when in motion. Setting off early (sometimes 6am) meant being awoken and a lack of sleep and wasn't always necessary, it seems. But overall a fantastic experience, a great holiday and a lovely trip. Highly recommended.

The people we travelled with made the trip exceptionally great. By chance we had a full ship of Australian, New Zealand, England, USA and Canada who got on so well. The destinations, cycling and views were incredible.

We really enjoyed the cycling routes and our guides Marin and Andro. The ships crew were nice and friendly, the food was fairly good. However we stayed in a lower cabin and it had a very bad smell coming from the bathroom. It would come and go but at times it was terrible. I believe most people would not put up with it and complain heavily. The ship was full so we thought there is no other room to go to so why bother complaining. This problem needs to be addressed because we probably wouldn’t book another trip on this ship again. Other passengers we talked to said how they had black mold in their bathrooms which is even worse. It’s unfortunate because it did put a damper on our trip.

Itinerary, boat and staff were all good, but some of us had a smell problem in the cabins at certain times. Not sure if this was an isolated problem on our trip or an ongoing problem? The design details in the cabins could have been better (need sliding door or lip at shower floor to prevent floor flooding, need shelves in bathroom to put stuff). The deck furniture was of low quality (cheap and thin foam cushions not very comfortable). Food was good but not excellent.

Amazing sea coastal island sceneries cruising on a luxury Yatch. Great sunrise each morning, and will remember for ever my Turkish cafe. The best daily swim in theses clear Dalmatian waters with a captain who found great quite safe water spot paradise for us. A fantastic cruise team on board on this week in particular, top front house waiters, doing their best, and always pleasant with the guests..amazing guys Great adventure expedition journey in each town well organized and explained by Slavran. Love his character, and passion for his country Croatia. About the chef, and his delivery product, a very poor results, and a no interest in what he does. The breakfast buffet were fine, and sorry but the lunch menu and food were a shame in relation to the image and the service that your company want to achieve. That would be the issue that you need to work on it. Simple fresh food with care , attention, balance of the menu, and a touch of imagination, this is what the people like.

We still had fun on this trip because of the people we met and places we went, but there were a lot of let downs. We sailed on a premier ship and paid extra for the accommodations. In Sail Croatia's mind, this meant we should pay more for everything. Our drinks were 75% more expensive then the other sail croatia boat and the crew squeezed us for money. Designated dinners were to expensive, poor quality restaurants with commish going to the guide. Guide said there was no way to get food in Mljet for under $25 and pushed everyone to pay $25 to eat on the boat (Food in Mljet was $10). Crew was not aware of the upcoming excursion details and refused to provide any day plans until 10am the day of so everyone would be on the ship longer. Guide left me on the side of a road to wait for an excursion van for 20 min because the ship was leaving early. Cruise was for 7 nights, but the last day had no activities or places planned and guide/crew just docked and left us. Rooms were constantly wet.

Our guide, Stefan, was excellent and did his best to make it a great experience - even if we had some very bad weather at the beginning. The boat and the crew were fine and the service excellent. We think there could be more attention paid to safety - a clearer set of instructions what to do in case of emergency and a member of the crew on duty 24 hours per day. The food was fine but at some points they ran out of salad bar and fruit salad. There should MORE than enough of everything like that.

We unfortunately missed out on 2 of the islands due to weather and whilst we understand you can not control the weather we feel a small compensation (another dinner on the boat, free tab for the day etc) could have been offered, as the ship would have saved significant amounts of money by NOT sailing.

The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to make the cruise a great experience. As an example, a guest suffered a family tragedy; and within minutes the staff was already coordinating arrangements for her to get to her family. Our only complaint is that they weren't able to modify the agenda to accommodate weather conditions unsuitable for swimming. We spent a lot of dead time waiting for an afternoon docking slot because the weather wasn't suitable for swimming at the selected swimming locations.

Went on the first tour of the year so most of the places we visited were quiet and many bars and restaurants not yet open. We still managed to have a good time though. The Tour Guide Dino was really friendly and helpful as well as knew a lot about places to go and what to see. Was good to see different places and added to the variety as well as being able to chill and relax between stops. There was a great group of people on board of mixed ages. We were looked after in the bar by Sime who made sure we had a good time there too. I was a bit disappointed that the Captain didn't interact with anyone even on the Captains Dinner! Didn't stop us having a good time though. There's plenty of food on board although not much variety, so expect meat and seafood. Overall was a great holiday and would definitely recommend although probably just once.

Well planned, well run trip. The boat, Kleopatra, is excellent. Our room was super, good size, airy and clean. The public areas, restaurant, and sun deck are excellent. The cycling was well organised, and a good mix of hard climbs, and lovely roads and tracks. In our group we had 10 e-bikes and 6 standard. The guiding was exactly right...we were told what we would be doing and when. Don't expect to cycle away from the group. All told a great trip.

Guides and staff were great (Mila,Surgen,Lana, and cook). Great bike rides with nice bikes and recommended sights and restaurants. Food was good and plentiful. Room was adequate but full double top sheets would be nice instead of two singles. Aphrodita boat needed some TLC with torn deck carpets and some missing deck trims. If there was seating on the top deck it might get used. Overall a great trip and a wonderful way to see the Croatian islands.

The ship itself, MS Olimp, was superb...one of the best on the circuit. Captain Yuri takes immense pride in, and care of his ship, which is genuine luxury. Comfort and safety of his passengers was Yuri's number one priority. All the crew were chilled and attentive. Vedran, our Sail Croatia representative, was always 'on point' and we loved his comedic irony and dry sense of humour. 'V' was also extremely knowledgeable about his country's history. The island ports we visited were just so charming and picturesque. Milna in particular was rustic and authentic in a cosy harbour, and Korcula was just beautiful. We never knew the Croatian Islands had so much charm. If you love small ship cruises, the Elegance Cruise is just for you.

The only thing I didn't like was the fish (not Tuna steak) it don't know if it was fresh or frozen but didn't seem like the best representation of adriatic seafood considering we stopped at multiple ports. Nina and Marin and Ivan the captain we’re fantastic. The. Cabins were clean and there was space for luggage. As with any small ship bathroom space is limited. We were on the upper deck of rooms and they were great. We lucked out with only 27 guests who all got along really well and we have developed a number of great memories and new friends.

This is a well structured sail program with good island tours and there is still time for recreation in the form of swimming off the boat. The tours are well chosen and the guides’ seem dedicated to their country The administration of the bar service with sometimes extremely rigid closing times- 11pm - on shore an early closure time - renders the service unsatisfactory I presume the extremely small amounts of bathroom amenities- soap shampoo - is intended to be a green effort. It just caused us to buy our own which constitutes “penny pinching”

From the moment we stepped on the Salve Di Mare it's fair to say we were very excited on what was to come. The boat was beautiful, clean and the rooms were air-conditioned and classy. Staff were incredibly friendly, led by our guide Julie who was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire trip (not to mention great fun)! Food was incredible on the boat, a highlight being dessert for lunch! We had such a good crew with us and everyone was there to soak up the beautiful sun, swim in the crystal clear waters and have a good time. Small feedback would be that the pricier upper deck rooms were smaller than the cheaper rooms below. Needed a bit more time on the islands especially when we didn't go out to party the night before. However, from the moment we took off, we knew we had made the right choice sailing with Sail Croatia. If you have any hesitation, just book with the Salve Di Mare you will not regret it.

My wife and I just came back from a week on the Salve De Mare. Croatia is such an awesome country and has so much to See and do our hostess Kalmia, planned our excursions and reservations with ease Our wait staff, Daniel and Ivana were so amazing I can honestly say daniel is a special guy he is so professional, attentive caring, witty and made our my/our stay so much better.. he quickly remembered all the guests names drinks and treated us like family… He was Such a gem and I can see that young man will be successful in life and wish him the best.. As for Our chef Palve he is so passionate and you can see he truly loves being a Chef my only thing is I wish there was some sort of way we could have the option of having a couple options for lunches such as wraps salads burgers etc I found I was having meals that would be fit for dinner for lunch and often felt too full and needed a nap lol All in all a great experience and would definitely recommend sail Croatia!

-1st view of boat was filthy cabins and carpets -no welcome on-board - left to wonder around -1st 2nights no air conditioning -3rd night no hot water -couldn't lock cabin door -no key for internal locker -hostess very rude & didn't know how to work equipment to provide hot water or couldn't be bothered. -Staff underwear hanging outside out cabin door. -bedding not changed until after 5th night even though we were sweating like mad with no air con. -would have been good to have sea toys/paddleboard/laylo type etc. to enjoy. -couldn't buy single glass of wine, had to buy whole bottle. Also fridge was broken so couldn't be kept for next day. -on return from hikes, no staff available to serve drinks. Thankfully our tour guide Mate dealt with these issues as without him it could have been a whole lot worse. Mate deserves full credit for making this an enjoyable trip regardless of the issues we continually faced.

We had a great time, exceeding our expectations. The guides were excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. The only negative was the food. Breakfast was fine but better quality coffee and juice is needed. Unfortunately the other meals can only be described as brutal. There were so many meals not eaten it was a waste of money for the ship. Too much salt and not enough salads. Prior to exercising and just following exercise it is difficult for the body to process such food. We would happily pay double the current food allowance to improve this situation. The cook needs to look at the guest profile and judge the style of food accordingly ( nationality, sex and age ). Is it a case of all ships cook the same meals on the same days , if so maybe this is part of the problem.? Also a daily menu should be displayed on the notice board to enable guests to choose what/how much they eat. I am aware that space is a factor but it would be very easy to improve the quality and reduce the waste. Good luck

On arrival we were at once impressed by the beautiful lines of the Ship for intents a luxury yacht. The location on Split dock alongside a number of other similar vessels added to the scene. As the group met for the first time we were introduced to crew and of course the Captain. The roles for each were clearly stated and very quickly we were underway to our first port of call. But before that there was swimming in the refreshing ad sparkling Adriatic. Lunch followed and we were quickly into the rhythm of what was seven fabulous days. The island we visited and the spots where we swam all had unique attributes impossible to reach in any other fashion One of the highlights was the visit to Dubrovnik a magnificent location with so much to offer, We were also fortunate to avoid be coincident with the arrival of the monster cruise ships and enjoyed an excellent tour. It took visiting another sail croatia ship to learn what we were missing. We were made acutely aware our voyage was the last of the season by the staff and how much they looked forward to commencing their vacation. We found the excursions to be underwhelming, poorly (even ineptly) lead and over valued. The kitchen staff and Maria are great friendly workers. The captain aloof. Boris and his two helpers, the shipboard lovers, should be marooned. Guest alcohol supplies were low or non-existant and the coffee machine is a bad joke. Being tied up to other vessels, where we were warmly welcomed to tour, made us aware the competition offers an elevated experience and of essentially the same cost as SC. BTW, there is signficiant bruisng on my right buttock and lower back from where I slipped on the wet interior stairs and fell. Boris never thought to follow up on if I needed any help (other then giving me a towel to dry the stairs so I could try and help others avoid a similar fate). Hmmmmm!!?

Esperanza is a beautiful ship maintained to an extremely high standard with helpful and attentive crew. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. The whole cruise was well organised and every port of call was fascinating. The only criticism would be the food which although it was wholesome and well presented would have been much better if hot breakfasts had been warmer than lukewarm and main dishes had not been overcooked.

The Itinerary and crew and setting, cycles routes were all great, However the documents and listings state that there is a port hole that can be opened in port in the below deck cabins. There is a port hole that was bolted shut which the crew flatly refused to open. In our cabin 18 on the Deluxe Milena the widow was cracked and there was no daylight either as the metal cover was bolted in place. We were told that they had been sealed shut for the last 5 years, There is a clear case for a claim of misrepresentation in the brochure and website advertising. The lighting only green tinge very dim old-tech LED lights that made the cabin look like a set from a horror movie. The below deck cabins were so damp and smelly and we took to taking our mattresses and blankets up to the top deck to dry out. Other passengers in the steerage class also complained about the smell and the damp. I have made a YouTube video about this problem that I will upload. time out of the cabin was great.,

The best part was our cruise director Matteo. He was very informative and helpful. He answered all our questions and really made us feel at home. We really connected with Matteo Bartenders Carlos and tomislav were great as well as Ivana our maid. We were a bit disappointed in some of the meals served. For example we had tuna one day which was overdone. I prefer tuna rare as most people would. Overall a great experience

We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves but there were a few things that need to be improved. Charging $10 for a glass of wine from a bottle that costs $10 is a bit much especially since you can't bring our own alcohol on board. Staff could be happier in the beginning and not sigh when you need to be served a drink because they are watching a show on their phones. They should be roaming the deck and cleaning glasses and taking drinks orders rather than us taking our own glasses back to the bar. They tried to change our last 2 days but didn't give us all the info which would have meant 2 days simply docked in Dubrovnik. They made it sound like it was special but didn't tell us the boat wouldn't leave the port during the day again which means a wasted day.

The week onboard was very good fun. The skipper looked after well and the boat was well equipped. It's not exactly what we were expecting. Every night stop except one was in a small town, with a party night. The first night which was in a small quite cove was the best. The sails weren't really used due to light winds and direction of travel. It would be good if the route could be variable to allow engine of, real sailing. We had the energy and enthusiasm to enjoy the 'party cruise', The same could be achieved with a power boat. Overall great fun week with lots of memories.

Firstly the itinerary was great with a lovely mix of island stops. Or two guides Julia and Dora were friendly enthusiastic and highly professional. Julia in particular was very hard working, dedicated to ensuring we were looked after and answered all questions with knowledgeable answers. Her daily and sometimes twice daily briefings were informative and interesting. The cycling was great but for some too challenging. I’m an experienced cyclist and fit but I struggled up some of the climbs so it would be helpful to make sure weaker riders were made aware of this. The boat was very comfortable and well equipped. My only slight criticism was the attitude of the captain, surly and uncommunicative when compared with the guides and the rest of the crew. Food was very good on board.

The fact that it was a small cruise is the reason we went. The format was good, rooms were great, and the overall experience was memorable. We were not to happy with our rep who was vague at times, lacked confidence and misinformed us on several occasions. He did get most of the passengers off side. Rooms are as you expect however the en-suites leave room for improvement. The common bathroom and shower areas are sufficient. Let me start by saying this was my 3rd trip with Sail Croatia so they do know what they’re doing to keep bringing me back. However, this time was disastrous and much lower quality than I expected: at one of the swim stops the boat left us, the jacuzzi was non-operational for half the trip and cold water for the second half. It was one of the things I was looking forward to is enjoying the jacuzzi on the top deck. The guide and crew only apologized for leaving us in the water and sailing away after an email was sent to the company. They made a good effort by comping the entire bar bill for the week and a bottle of great red wine which was a nice gesture. But not even a hint of apology prior to written communication still left a bad taste in my mouth. This should never have happened. The crew needs to watch their guests in the water very attentively and the guide take responsibility instead of deflecting blame on the passengers themselves.

Food on board was average at best,some days great some days terrible. Breakfast needs a rethink and an upgrade to the coffee machine is required. Maybe brunch rather than breakfast and lunch given we all go for dinner in the evening. Staff were great and the boat was brilliant. Menu card and restaurant recommendations at the start of the trip would be helpful rather than when we arrive in port. Overall a great experience and one we would recommend to friends and family.

We had a great time on Emanuel, saw some amazing islands and met some awesome people. The food and crew were fantastic! The only issue we had was that our room had no ventilation of any kind and got a bit damp and smelly by the end of the week. Would highly recommend for anyone to book this trip though, it was a blast!

Was an awesome week with a great group of people and staff. Our sail rep Bri was amazing. She was very helpful and organised in keeping our week flow nicely. We were always given a brief before each location and knew exactly what the plan was for each stop. It was also good to hear a little history of each stop as well in her briefs. Bri and the crew on Milena were amazing. Thanks again for a great week.

Good concept with marvellous crew in a beautiful environment.Food was excellent .lovely cabin but would not book next time below stairs by the engine. Wine was so so .Could explain day after breakfast instead of after lunch.

- Navigator cruise was advertised for Young Professionals, yet our boat had a vast majority being over 50. Thankfully we (24y/o's) had two other amazing couples to experience it with. I heard the week prior only had 1 couple under 50 (I would of requested a refund if I was them). They need to ensure the weight of ages is reasonable so each generation can experience it their way. - Staff were atrocious. Incredibly rude, dismissive, literally rolled their eyes at all of us when we would enter the salon to get a drink. Had the audacity to leave a tip envelope on our last day (of which we gave nothing). Sail Croatia MUST have involvement in the selection of crew as it knocked 2 stars of our review, easily. - Recommendations for restaurants, bars and the tours offered were way below expectations. Again, this is a cruise for a "Young Professionals", so we want beautiful food, amazing cocktails and awesome experiences. Need to have different recommendations for each cruise type.

The cruise itself was very nice and entertaining, The boat was immaculate and the captain and Ivan were amazing. To be honest, the crew was a big part that let the experience down, Very, very poor service. My wife felt ashamed and embarrassed asking them to do anything (while they were sitting on their phones doing nothing in the saloon). We got groans and eye rolls when we asked for a drink or anything. The main issue for us was communication, In the first hour on the boat, the sail Croatia representative said everyone got ONE free drink during meals. It was not specified what kind of drink, I got a beer or coke and my wife got the one cocktail they new how to make every day with lunch. We did buy a few other drinks at nights etc that we knew we had to pay for. On the last day we got our bill and got laughed at by the crew due to our reaction to seeing EVERY drink had been charged for. No explanation or reasoning just that we had to pay or we do not get our passports back...

Awesome people but terribly planned. If someone took maybe 15 mins to use common sense to plan this it would have gone so much smoother. The lack of communication was laughable. Excursions that were offered were decent but nothing I would go out of my way to do. The swim stops were a joke. We would stop the boat in the middle of nowhere overlooking a construction site. Also, pretty lame that once the boat was in port you couldn't go in the water unless you went to beach.

Thank you for the week cycling and cruising through the islands of the Dalmatian coast. The boat, crew and food were all great, as was the itinerary. The bicycles were also good, but there was a big divide between those with electric bikes and those without. If you didn't have an e bike you were left behind on the hills which kept the e bikers waiting, not a good feeling. Might be good to consider everyone having e bikes to keep the harmony of the voyage intact.

Good: food was good and enough. Places visited were fantastic. Some places very crowded. Friendly staff. Boat clean and common areas cleaned all the time. Had great rides. Not so good: We were asked to pay extra for air conditioning (really?!) This left a bitter taste even after a few days the captain agreed to offer it. The e-bikes not conducive for longer rides (20’ rims not good). Will recommend Sail Croatia.

Ana our guide was fantastic. She was absolutely lovely and so knowledgeable. She was always there for any of the passengers aboard when we needed her. I cannot say one bad thing about Ana. We all loved her. However the boat bartender was very moody and rude at times. Sometimes it felt like we were being treated like children. The crew did not interact much with the passengers and seemed like they didnt want to be there. We were given 1 towel to use for the whole week and it rained most of the week. It's pretty hard to dry a towel when it's raining and damp, we didnt appreciate this. Overall I still really enjoyed meeting all the lovely passengers and made some news friends that I will hopefully see again. The boat itself had broken stereo speakers and we werent allowed to play music at alot of the stops. Come on it's a party boat, music is a must people! Sail Croatia might want to consider hiring a new boat.

So firstly, I would like to say that my experience on board the Cristal was overall satisfactory but I do think that there could be improvements. We were lucky that we had a good mix of people, however I think aiming the cruise at “young professional couples and young at heart travelers” leaves you with an odd mix of people. I think that maybe having a more upmarket option for younger couples and young professionals where they don’t feel like they have to be on basic party boats with the 20 year olds would be better. One of the more disappointing aspects of the tour was that the bar wasn’t open late and that spa wasn’t always available to use, including in the middle of the day and two full days it remained off.Maybe for other groups that don’t want as much of a party, this might have worked but for us it was disappointing and we felt a little ripped off that we couldn’t use all the available facilities. However our tour manager Boris was great and very professional.
