Our tour guide Lola was incredible !!! she was easy to talk to and extremely helpful She helped us arrange water taxis and answered all of our questions. Lola was great !! We were extremely disappointed with the ship's itinerary. Had we knew that the daily swim stop was actually more than 1/2 a day of swimming and that most shore excursions were to start after lunch, Starting shore excursions at 3;00 or 4;00 is just too late . we would not have taken this cruise. We did not come to Europe to swim, we came to see and explore towns and sights. For instance we visited Milena which was a waste of a day, Nothing really to see. I wish we could have spent the time in Split which is a wonderful and interesting city.

Our group of 20 sailed on Sail Croatia’s Elegance Cruise aboard Katarina in late September/early October & had a wonderful experience overall. Katarina is a beautiful luxury vessel. The food & drinks were excellent, while the captain, crew & Sail Croatia guide were incredibly welcoming & accommodating. The onboard experience exceeded expectations. Our disappointment was specifically with the late-season stop in Vela Luka. We spent an entire afternoon & evening there, but much of the town had already closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were shut, taxis & boats were unavailable & we couldn’t arrange transportation to nearby beaches. With our travel dates known well in advance, these seasonal limitations should have been considered. Our group of 20 would have gladly welcomed a different stop or extra time in Dubrovnik. Excellent vessel, food, crew & service—just disappointing itinerary planning for the time of year.

Overall we had a good holiday. We were on the Emanuel. The boat was clean.. Biking with guides was very good. We were disappointed in some aspects. The rooms were very tight. We understand this is a boat but our bed was against a wall and the storage was minimal. The bed was very hard and linens/towels were just ok. The room would have felt better if they had used better quality items. It felt more like dorm living or summer camp. No swimming towels provided (which we knew ahead) but this takes a lot of room in a suitcase when traveling. The meals were basic and not of a standard that we expected for a vacation. Bar prices seemed a little high. It was stated not to bring food/drink onboard.. However, there was no food or snacks available other than meals. One day we were sailing 7 hours to avoid a storm and no food provided other than lunch. This meant drinking and no snacking. The upper deck was nice with a shaded area and sun deck but the furniture needs updated.

Generally we had a very good time but the food & behaviour of some of the crew detracted from the overall effect. From a positive point of view both of the tour leaders, Tasi & Toni, were excellent. They worked hard to produce a great experience, were both welcoming & knowledgeable. Each hike was fun, with lots of sights & information. For the price of the trip the food was not up to standard. Breakfasts were good but both lunches & dinners were poor, mostly constituted by overcooked meat, sauce & tinned vegetables. It could and should have been much better. The crew were generally OK, but one in particular shouted at the passengers a number of times in an unnecessary manner. A briefing at the beginning of the cruise as to what areas on the deck to avoid would have helped here too. The first swim off the back of the boat was fantastic & should have been repeated rather than staying at the dock & having to search out local beaches. Other passengers were also great fun & company

Good but hoped for more time to explore/shop … on the stops. Door stops for bathroom door needed, bathroom re-supply and amenities were poor, toilet was never cleaned in our room. Breakfast window of 8-9 too short when underway by 6-7 each day. A bit more variety in the hot breakfast menu - it was the same fare each day.. More excursions offered with passenger commitment secured before the trip starts - not everyone is into swimming and water sports. Crew and servers were very attentive and friendly. Lunches on board, captain’s dinner and impromptu barbecue dinner on board were excellent. A good sail overall.

Very good. Mario was a great Skipper. Easy and fun attitude. We were 2 couples, there was plenty of room. The boat was good, although I was surprised there were no solar panels. As a result we were pretty much forced to go to a marina at least every second night. The water and the swim stops in small bays were absolutely beautiful and fun. Sail Croatia was super easy to deal with from start to finish. It would be nice if they had a place to store our bags on embarkation day for a couple of hours. Checkout at most places is 11am , and the boat is only available later. The only option is someone stays with the luggage or pay a private company that charges 6 euros. All in all a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Sail Croatia.

It was awesome we had a lot of fun, swim spots were awesome, the towns/cities were great. The crew were really easy to get along with and served quality tasting food. Only bad thing was the condition of the boat, it was clean don’t get me wrong, but the rooms were twice as hot as it was outside, (yes it was advertised there was no A/C) so there was no way to cool down and most people ending up sleeping outside on the deck during the night not using their rooms. And the shower amenities were pretty rough. We paid extra for an upper deck room thinking it would be cooler and less noisy, but it was the complete opposite, rooms downstairs were cooler and less noisy. I think if we had photos of the amenities and knew the condition of the rooms on the exact boat we were on, we wouldn’t have paid as much or gone at all. But don’t let that distract you from what made it worth while, all the people we met on the boat from guest to crew was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Excellent holiday and meet some great people from around the world . Cruise manager was excellent with great communication regarding when and what was happening. The girl that cleaned my cabin was outstanding as well,and pleasant to talk with and always smiling. The remainder of the crew were less so . They failed to acknowledge you most times and were not interactive at all. We would have spent more money on bar if the staff had been better trained in the hospitality industry. .

Excellent time! Vedran is great tour leader! This boat is Family owned and immaculate! All staff are family and they care deeply about the boat and assuring guests have a great time. The only reason I gave this a 4-star rating is that the air conditioning in the cabins just could not keep up with the boiling outside temperature. Most everyone had issues with the air conditioning. Also, in my opinion, the lighting in the bathrooms is not sufficient. PRO Tip 1: Evidently the cabins below deck stay cooler than those above deck PRO Tip 2: Bring clothing that is quick drying and can be washed in the sink or shower. There are ship bars outside the cabins on the upper deck where you can hang them to dry. Clothes pins are provided. PRO Tip 3: Do not bring anything fancy, cool light weight fabrics are best. PRO Tip 4: A portable travel fan will come in handy. PRO Tip 5: Buy Euro at first island stop for less than getting it at home if not your currency.

My experience on Tuna boat was mainly attributable to Toni, our rep. Toni was highly informative about the history and activities of each destination. His organisation of group dinners really helped for us to bond and make friends. Not only was he a rep, but he was also a great friend to all of us. I give all my praise to Toni!

6 of us sailed on the Almissa the first week of July. Right from the start we were greeted with friendly staff members who met all of our needs and answered all of our questions. Hana was our guide/host for the week and she was amazing. She always checked in on passengers daily asking them what they had done the day before and what the plans were. She gave us a play by play of what to expect each day and answered questions and gave suggestions in a timely manner. She was outstanding. The boat was extremely clean and was big enough for all thirty plus passengers to find space if needed. The staff was friendly and assisted whenever needed. The food was also the best food I have had on the trip - even better than the restaurants. The pace of the trip was great. The only reason I did not give five stars, is that I wish drinks were included in the price or that a drink package could be bought. I would definitely suggest bringing snacks on board as they were not provided throughout.

Had so much fun with a great bunch of people. Captain + crew were awesome. The facilities on the premium navigator cruise are actually really decent and surprisingly spacious. Worth the extra money, especially for AC. Side note; you will end up paying as much as the initial cost so be aware. However many of the daily activities are worth. Shout out Lauren for being an awesome rep.

Varying (hour by hour) ship schedule made it difficult to fully plan/enjoy. Schedule was blamed on docking constraints which were not immediately apparent unless line was saving on fees. Lack of opportunities to swim off ship was also disappointing. Coffee/tea should’ve been available free during all waking hours. More pillows desperately needed. Staff was appropriate.

We had a great time on our sail and cycle cruise thanks to Marin and Josip and our crew. Marin was our guide and Josip was our cycling guide and they were a great team-professional and very qualified yet warm and engaging. The support we received from these guys both on and off the bike was really amazing. I feel as though we got really lucky to have them assigned to our group. I took a star away because our boat-the Dionis-was very worn out. There were only 8 plastic loungers strewn about on the top deck and two were broken and there were 27 of us on board. We kept seeing other Sail Croatia boats with a full deck of chairs with cushions and I still can’t understand the disparity. Also, my husband and I ended up with a below deck cabin. It was dark, smelly, and very damp. Even the sheets at night were damp. I feel as though the trip could have been a perfect five stars if Sail Croatia had given more attention to the accommodations on the boat.

Sail Croatia, who I have used before were excellent in all areas, keeping us informed, before joining, welcoming us on arrival and making sure we had had a great time, when we returned. Unfortunately, it turns out that the boat that we had chartered, Rookie, was actually owned by another company, Ultra Sailing, and that Sail Croatia, this time, were just the booking agents. Unlike Sail Croatia, the greeting that we received from Ultra, was very cold and we felt immediately unwelcome by the woman, who checked us in, who shouldn’t be in a role, in front of customers. We had the same experience, with the same woman, on our return. Despite this, we had a fantastic week, on the water, in this beautiful part of the world. Shame, we would use Sail Croatia, again, but will never return to ACI Marina in Split, again

The sailing holiday was very good, the boat , OLIMP, was great and the size of the cabin brilliant. Service was very good by the staff and Dino was quite good as the co-ordinator. The only issue was with the payment of the bar. tab at the end of the trip and what cards that were accepted. A few things should be made clearer at the start of the trip so as not to have them becoming an issue on the last night. I will be recommending this trip to fiends for sure.

We had a wonderful week sailing with Sail Croatia and would happily recommend them to others. The entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Our boat was ready on time and in great condition, and the team provided helpful assistance both before we set off and when we were leaving the dock. Their communication was excellent. Before the trip, any message I sent was answered promptly with all the details we needed. This continued during our journey. When we saw a "bura" wind in the forecast, we messaged them for advice. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and gave us clear steps to take. They also went out of their way to help with a small request, providing an extra coffee machine for the boat when we asked, which was much appreciated. A particular highlight was Karolina, who personally stopped by to check in on us and make sure everything was going well. It was a nice, personal touch that showed they care about their guests. Highly recommend Sail Croatia!

Martina and Mio were great. The Guide from Sail Croatia was a little tightly wound and confrontational. The food was just okay, and that’s probably generous. The worst part was all the noise on the boat. Spend ten bucks and put felt sliders on the chairs in the saloon. Seriously. The chair sliding noise killed all the cabins right below it. The drink prices were stupid for what you get. The food was very forgettable. But the boat and the crew were good!

Croatia is scenic and the cycling was good. The crew of the Princeza Diana was terrific- they worked very hard and were friendly and happy to interact with guests. The food was absolutely top notch- I'd recommend this trip for the food alone. Our guides were only average based on multiple previous cycling trips in Europe. They were pleasant enough but seemed disconnected from their jobs. Perhaps it was late in the season and they had mentally moved on.

The coffee was good but cold. Maybe replace the coffee maker with a better style that keeps the urn warmer. The only downside was our ship was charged after all our travel plans were made. The upper bunk mattress was small and uncomfortable.

For constructive criticism I would recommend that the up front lead guide (Srdan) go a bit slower so that we did not spread out into seperate pelotons with the later groups missing turns that Srdan made without stopping to allow the later groups to catch up.

On our recently completed trip from Dabrovnic to Split for 7 days, Although the "Tempera" ship requires some strong maintenance repairs and surface repairs, the experience beyond that was incredible for a first time cruise guest on that size and style of a ship. Our Cruise Manager Sasha was the most friendly, knowledgeable management team member that leads the way in customer relations and makes all guests feel like a family member. The Captain and crew provide a constant team effort of providing services of any nature while at sea or when at dock daily. We were fortunate to have a dining room / bar drink service leader in "Max", his efforts exemplify professionalism customer service. The most valuable aspect of this specific cruise trip was the personal relationships built in a very short order of time (from day 1) of the other guests. This size of a ship and the areas of common use created an experience like no other, for the friendships that were created, we thank you.

The boat we where on the Mala Kate was shit, Pay the little bit extra and go on a better boat. This was my first time on a sailing boat Croatia and I expected more. The rooms were dirty, bins never cleaned , alcohol cleaned up yes. The captain took us of cause multiple times, did not stop at certain swim spots and missed actual islands throughout the whole journey. Honestly a partial refund would be expected as the experience on this was not what was promised nor the correct destinations visited. The boat was way out of ratio from male to female also.

The beautiful ship. The amazing swim stops. The clean and spacious cabins. The ‘welcome on board’ canapés. The opportunity to experience some beautiful, picturesque islands. The Captains dinner. The itinerary. Mio & the lovely cleaning lady who cleaned our cabins. Only having 14 guests on board. Room for improvement:: The staff could be more friendly (except Mio and the cleaning lady - they couldn’t do enough for you); there should be more fish served as part of our lunches as we are out at sea and in the Adriatic! The lunches were lovely but certainly could be improved; the breakfasts and fresh fruit needed to be replenished as you were scared of having too much and not leaving enough for other passengers. It was not clear that you could have more. The chief female waitress in my opinion didn’t want to be there and that was more than obvious at times. As there was only 14 guests on board, it felt like most of the crew were ‘on a jolly’ and did not make enough effort to satisfy.

We really enjoyed the itinerary and The Esperanza was very well maintained. However some issues need addressing. The staff don’t appear to be very happy in their work place. Deck hands rarely smiled, the waitress in the salon was at times most inappropriate and borderline rude. It’s not every day you hear the F word or gestures using an arms whilst talking to passengers. So totally unprofessional and disrespectful to the Captain.. We appreciate that crew are able to go ashore for free time but please don’t tell the passengers that drinking of alcohol was consumed whilst ashore and then come onto deck to work; Safely for guests and crew surely should be paramount. The salon steward Mio went above and beyond to make every moment a pleasurable experience. The food lacked any wow factor, breakfast tepid, cold ravioli not nice, lettuce leaves as a salad, fruit bowl not replenished until we complained Only 14 guests in total and that shouldn’t mean less effort.. Representive did his job.

Make travel from boat to club/port/city centre etc included in the overall fair, or inform customer of these costs, pre-departure. Give a selection of restaurants for the customers to vote on to eat together. The restaurants chosen for use were very expensive were there were cheaper options available. Our time on board the ship and during the cycling cruise was fantastic. The ship's crew was friendly and professional. Our cycling guides, Tonka and Sanja, were excellent, fun, and took us to many wonderful places. They also made numerous recommendations that were very helpful and enjoyable. My only criticism was for communication with the Sail Croatia personnel. It was difficult to find out which boat you were assigned to because that information was buried in a specific email link. I also asked about storage on the bicycles since they had racks and was told there was none. There were panniers provided and I did not need the backpack I had bought based on the misinformation.

1) Smaller group! With that many riders (32) the faster riders, some of whom would have ridden even faster if allowed, spent way too much time waiting for the slower riders. This was the case on the uphills, the downhills, and the level rides. People ride at different speeds, regardless of terrain or type of bike. 2) Longer, full-day rides. One day was only 10 km, which is ridiculous.

The ship was in great shape and the Captain very skilled. the crew worked hard to make our week a fun/safe time and they succeeded. However, meals are a big part of our annual boat and bike trips. Here they failed. The meals were far too heave generally and the BBQ night was substandard with much meat and few veggies...and they were buried under all that meat. The meal was awful. Equally as bad was the captains dinner of steak that was unchewable...oh, the coffee was worse than any I had in the Navy and I didnt thimk that woukd ever be possible...undrinkable sludge..this boat & bike towr tour 7th as a group. It was the also the first to not put out a nice happy hour food spread...only pretzels and biscuits. All in all, I won't recommend this trip .

We were a group of friends (8) who joined Sail Croatia for the Dubrovnik to Split 7 day cruise. The cabins were comfortable, the bathroom more spacious than the normal cruise ship. With only 40 people onboard I was concerned that we would be in each others pockets. There is more than enough space onboard to ensure you can read a book quietly if you want. The staff on our cruise (Salve de Mere) were supurb, from the maid throufg to the Captain, we were all in excellent hands. I loved the fact that we docked in small ports each night so we could enjoy local restaurants and bars. Each morning we stopped for a swim...as it was late season a few of us decamped to the jaquizzi where we had pre lunch cocktails...great fun! Each afternoon we were given options of excursions we could take, from walking and exploring, to bike rides and wine tasting. I would probably give the Buggies a miss as you travel in convoy at about 20kms per hour...very boring and a waste of money..

The crew was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. We were kept informed on a daily meeting about changes and weather situations concerning our travels. V our guide was great, suggesting restaurants and other things about the Croatia people. I would choose to do this trip again. It was a vacation of a lifetime! Most people were not happy that coffee couldn't be have after 9:00 am.

Staff was great. Especially Klara and Pamela. We enjoyed the swim stops and island stops. The meals were so so too much fish for my liking. They’ve in our room didn’t work for 1/2 the week. The tours were great, Capains dinner/dance and wine tours as well I would include gratuity in the price and/or arrange for credit card payments for on board liquor purchases for some people I spoke to were surprised they needed so much euros at the end of the trip which may have an effect on gratuity’s We would highly recommend Sail Croatia to anyone that asks us

Lots of great people on this trip including two great guides and the ships crew. The biking was challenging and fun though 32 people are rather a lot to organize. The boat was not as good as we hoped, but probably our fault as we thought we had gone premium plus rather than premium. Cabins were very small and the food was OK but not great.

Firstly I would like to point out I have absolutely no issues with the staff whatsoever - they each deserve 5 stars as they were all so welcoming and helpful throughout the trip. Special mention for Marin, the best host we could have asked for arranged some great nights and made sure everyone was included. My main issue was that the week was poor value for money, the food was ok but I have to mention the BBQ night, 25 euro for what can only be described as a car crash. When I was offered it I was expecting a real bbq on the port but no - the meats (poor quality I’ll add) were grilled in the usual kitchen not on any sort of bbq - genuinely left me feeling ripped off. Drinks on the boat are extremely expensive for what they are, poor quality sprits other than real JD, and still charging full price. Excursions are overpriced we did the canyoning and it was not worth 75 euros at all. Any transfers to ports clubs or bars are always charged and EVERYTHING is cash only - disappointing.

We did a Sail Croatia hike trip. Sail Croatia knew ahead of time some of the people were unable to hike but were interested in the islands we were visiting to see the towns and the history. I would have expected that the coordinators would have given suggestions for things to do and historical information. If you weren't hiking you received limited attention.

I was very happy with the tour. The crew was happy going and all operations were smooth, The guides were well qualified, engaged and expressed kindness towards the the guests every day of the tour. Indeed a very good experienced, the second time I go with Sail Croatia in the beautiful area. My suggestions are: 1) Slow down the bike tours, make more brief stops to enjoy the splendor of nature. 2) Make the diet more in accordance with environmental and dietary recommendation (less meat, more vegetables and fruits). Furthermore, take measures to reduce food wast. As a first step, measure the food waste on board and calculate how much it costs. 3) Express your concern for nature in the selections of all materials and operation; including detergents, sorting of waste, motor efficiency; even the use of sails when possible. 4) Improve considerably the quality of the coffee you serve. For many people a good cup of coffee makes even a rainy day bright and sunny.

Boat was pretty good, weather was rubbish, staff were very good but organisation needs some work! Lots of defects on the boat. Rain, thunder and lightning almost every day. The check in, shopping and hand over was utterly chaotic. Sail Croatia need to do a deal with the supermarket to take an order and deliver. There were hundreds of people, traffic chaos and no trolleys to be had.

The crew was amazing. From Andre our server to Matek and Christiana the sailors, everyone was friendly, helpful and competent. The cabins were small and cramped. Not much storage space. But we were only in our cabins to sleep or shower. Katarina and Mila were excellent cycling guides. Meals were substantial- no need to ever go hungry! It would be great if there was some decent coffee at breakfast. The coffee was terrible! The cycling was made easier with the e-assist bikes. One suggestions is to divide the cycling groups. Those on e bikes and those on standard bikes. Those on e bikes were always waiting for the standard cyclists to catch up. It felt like we were constantly interrupting our ride.

I was told a couple weeks before our sail that unfortunately I was being put in a double bed with another male. I sent several emails back and forth and their response was always “it’s in the FAQs” and they couldn’t help me so bad luck. When I arrived to the ship I found out there was serval couples staying in 2 x single beds so the issue could have been resolved if they actually wanted to. Also they allowed a group of 20 friends/couples to book the ship (40 on the ship) (also a group of 7 so 13 people were strangers) It ruined everyone’s trip because they weren’t there to make New friends they were there to party with old ones and they had the monopoly on every thing in terms of dinners and that. It really ruined the vibe because everyone felt on the outside because they would take over the ship and leave the rest out, we made our own fun but would be nice. Very disappointing overall, the crew and rep were 5 starts but management side before the ship has sailed in the downfall.

if you have a group of bikers and non-bikers, and want enough biking and cruising and hiking and walking for everyone, the cycle cruise is just the right mix. Overall the trip was excellent. However if you look into the fine details then you can find major issues. For example tipping policy is terrible ad should be scrapped. Company say one figure staff say a different figure and service you receive is not worth either amount. Some staff’s appearance could improve especially first thing in the morning at breakfast. Sail Croatia and crew of Jelena, have forgotten who the customer is, in respect of, a customer works hard to save money to go on holiday and we are all suffering with cost of living being expensive no different to the crew. What we liked about Sail Croatia: The boat was beautiful and the staff was courteous and helpful. We enjoyed the overnight stays, and the optional UNESCO dinner. What we did not like about Sail Croatia:: The hot tub was not hot, lukewarm at best. Meals choices were limited if you did not like the day’s meals you were out of luck as there were no other choice. No activities or music on board other than a swim stop (weather permitting). The included traditional dinner venue was nice but the food was too bland for our taste. The bar staff charged our account for a bottle of wine and several drinks that we did not order. They need a better accounting system for the onboard liquor. This cruise is better suited for people who want it quiet and with minimum people. For people who enjoy lounging in the sun reading books as there is little else to do when you are onboard. This type of cruise is not for us.

Great staff, beautiful boat. Our cabin was unusually small compared to others on our cruise - even single person cabins were significantly larger, notably the shower. Cabins need more hooks or places to dry things. Food on the cruise was great - though breakfast could have had more variety. Itinerary took us to fantastic locations. Wish we could have spent more time exploring the locales on our own. Our cruise director Mia was spectacular! The two group events on the boat needed some help. The cocktail hour on the top deck was lit with horrible emergency lighting and not conducive to a party atmosphere. The captain's dinner concept was nice, but we would have preferred to eat in a local village restaurant, The entertainment at the captain's dinner was clearly skewed to an older audience and half the room left before the music was finished. But overall we really enjoyed our experience.

The assortment of food on the boat for breakfast and lunch was excellent. The variety of terrain and vistas was equally as satisfying. Our accommodations were perfect for our needs. The only negative for the journey was the smell of cigarette smoke at times on the boat, especially at meal times. It was a second-hand, drifting issue but bothersome none the less. Would absolutely recommend a trip of this type to others.

Booked based on Explorer being best suited for couples, young professionals and 'young at heart' travellers. Didn’t expect at 44, to be the second youngest guest, with the majority being 70s. The boat was fine, the bedroom smelled a bit damp and there were broken fixtures in the bathroom. The crew were great, and very friendly. Disappointed the sundeck bar / bbq area wasn’t used. Also, the ‘€25 bbq’ which was cooked in the oven was a poor offering, and unsurprisingly didn’t go ahead. All in all, I had a great time, but had I have been much younger, would’ve been disappointed with so many older guests.

Stephanie was amazing. She cooked, cleaned and made us feel very spoilt. She went shopping and always took care of our needs. This really made the trip very comfortable and an easy holiday. Tony was a great skipper with excellent knowledge of the country and coast. Great tips and locations with lots of flexibility and opportunities for spare of the moment activities. The boat is brand new and everything works well. Good layout and lots of space to sprawl out on the 7 day trip.

We were travelling with 7 friends on a boat of 30. The crew and staff were wonderful and the itinerary was amazing. If you plan on spending a relaxing 7 days this Sail isn’t for you, it’s a more of a 7 day bender with no let up. Our fellow sail mates were great fun and people on other boats also made the trip one to remember. However, the rooms and bathrooms were tiny, the free breakfast is irrelevant as no one is ever awake for it and the lunches were what I would describe as a 3rd world counties school camp. I would definitely recommend trying a KJU while you’re in Croatia!

A great combination of fun and relaxation. Our vessel was captains by Danny who did an amazing job each day and made the trip that much better. The beautiful beach stops, hanging out with other boats, we’re my favourite. The things that require improvements to me are: Boat had no cooling - on :32 degree days and 26 degree nights there was no way to escape the heat. The boat needs a few upgrades, such as fans in rooms or an air conditioner , the speaker system wasn’t working properly. Then there was the few little things that made it disappointing, such as the sail only was put up once. The activities weren’t something we were made aware of until the last day.. €85 to go on a zip line.. and then all other activities like the punch party - just a cup of juice on the side of the road. The cave party - just a bar in a cave White and blue night - didn’t happen? Other than that, it was great and would recommend it to everyone :)

The bike/ sail cruise was great overall, what made the trip was our tour leaders Marija and Andrej. They were extremely friendly, outgoing and easy to connect with, they provided local recommendations of what to do and where to go. Also, the group of people on the boat were great, a slightly older crowd that knew how to have fun and connect with each other. The food on the boat was average which I expected it would be, definitely needs more attention. The bikes were in great condition without any faults, exceeded my expectation. The room was okay however bathroom needs a detailed clean and the shower curtain had mould. A little disappointed that our first day riding got cancelled due to rain and also advised it was a public holiday, so we stayed in spilt for the night. The public holiday should have been worked around in advance for an alternative, understand about the rain issue. Paying for drinks in cash was annoying, I would have bought more if able to pay on credit card.

We though sail Croatia was good value for money but later found better boats for way cheaper. Disappointed in the service, cleanliness and food . Room floor was not washed once, luckily small and washed ourself. , The shower not cleaned once. Had to ask to change the linen, when we were informed that it will be changed on the Wednesday. It was eventually done on Thursday. Food quality of an old age home. Asked for double bed slept on two single beds. Later found that owner of ship children work on the boat. Thats maybe why! Stops on islands was however amazing and Boris / tour operator working for the boat was very helpful and assisting us with places to visit and Restaurants suggestions on the islands. The boat was way more expensive that a big cruise liner and does not justify the cost of this small boat travelling. When we got of the boat there was no farewell greeting by the staff or someone helping with the luggage. 😪😢.

It was a great 7 days on the Queen Jelena and the schedule saw us visit fantastic islands from Split to Dubrovnik. We had a great crowd of people on our trip, and swim stops were amazing. Cabin was better than we anticipated. Food was bland and lacking vegetables and salads of any kind, soup on a 35 degree day is not ideal. There is an opportunity in this area. Our tour guide was pretty absent, apart from his lunch time speech, although he was humorous. Would recommend doing this trip.

The Yacht we chose was the cheapest available on the website. Common sense dictates that you are going to receive a lesser quality product. It was also a really hot week with temperatures constantly over 30 degrees. This was outside Sail Croatia's control. The issues were... #1 It is sold as a 7 night charter. Despite what we were told about possible early departure on day one we did not get off the dock until 6pm day one due to the boat not being ready. So day one does not exist. Then, you are expected back by 6pm on day 6 but you don't actually have to be off the boat by 8.30am day 7. In reality it is a 7 night 5 day charter. Disappointing. All charter boats should have bedroom fans. Sleep was impossible in the cabins as it was too hot at night.. 'We bought a fan at a marina. Various other things were disappointing but i only have 200 characters left. Nice people to deal with. Average product. Boat sold as 7 nights which leads you to believe at least 6 1/2 days, not 5 days as it was.

The whole system was set in place to take money off people, the day trips were more expensive with the boat then they were if you organised it for yourself! The drinks were too expensive, the captain didn’t allow anything to be brought in the boat. Air con was not included and when paid for it didn’t work properly 75% of the time, we missed the best parts of Croatia and weren’t told about them because the day trips weren’t informative about anything! I would never recommend doing sails to anyone. I was disappointed with everything to do with the trip except our lovely crew member, Ioana! She was the only good thing to come out of the trip, she needs a raise! The food was good.

Had an awesome time, our boat crew and tour rep were incredible! They took really good care of us and helped us navigate the terrible weather we had for the first 4 days of Sail. Would honestly do it again it was so much fun, the group we had was amazing. I just wouldn't do it in May so the weather would be better. We could only do 3 out of 12 of our optional activities because of weather and a lot of bars/clubs were closed still. Guides were outstanding. Tailored each day's rides to the group. Gave options. Knew the terrain. The food needs work. Portions were huge. Occasionally, as they tried to serve 32 people at once, they plated and waited for all 32, resulting in cold food for everyone. When dinner is at 7, serve at 7, no matter who is there. And the food quality was not great. Breakfasts were okay. But fresh vegetables were scarce and overcooked. Salads consisted of a small bowl of tomatoes and cucumbers every night. I would suggest that when the boat is docked in a town with restaurants available, give people the option of not eating on the boat but in town, and adjust the prices accordingly. Rooms were cleaned/serviced only once in the week, which was fine but would have been nice to know. No bathroom toiletries, despite being told there would be. And front cabins with twin beds have very limited access to the underbed storage--bad design.

The ship staff and quality of service is not what we experienced on our period 2 trips with sail croatia. 1. Rooms, bed comforters were just placed on beds. There were never completely done up with pillows, 2 of the days we’re not even done, mirror was dirty for the week. 2. Bar service was poor, common drinks were never made properly. Previous trips with sail croatia, a glass of wine was served with lunch. 3. We received a nice bottle of champagne since it was out 3 rd trip. We don’t drink champagne so we asked them to deliver it to a newlywed couple on the boat. It was never done. We asked what happened to the bottle, it was then delivered 4 days later. 4. Food quantity and quality was poor, always ran out of fruit for breakfast and salad for lunch. When asked if they had any more salad they said it was all gone, 5. Final Bill, They added a $200 kuna ($30Us) charge to reprogram the key that never worked. After arguing with them they reversed it.

Such a relaxing way to see a lot of Croatia. Everyday new villages to explore, new restaurants to try, sampling new drinks in hidden bars up lanes and alleys. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to ensure you enjoyed your time on aboard, with good food and lots of it. A multinational bunch of travellers who soon become a group of friends to share the trip with and stories of each other’s lives. Improvements:- small things such as padded sun bed covers, stronger aircon in rooms. Daily visible Computerised drinks bill so you know what cash is required, longer stays in port, I would recommend this holiday and will certainly be repeating this format for all future holidays.

1. The Dalmation coast is superb and made the trip worthwhile. The friendly crew and spectacular destinations made up for a lot of daily flaws. 2. Food is 2 out of 5 at best. There were times were we ate mediocre food on the boat while docked at a port with great restaurants. 3. Too many stops for swimming off the boat when there's a beautiful beach in sight, just out of reach. Also, when there was a beach stop, it was usually around 45 minutes - what good is that? 4. When cycled right past many points of spectacular scenery that would have been nice to soak in and maybe take a picture or two. When we did stop, it was usually a baren intersection or a town that wasn't as nice a town we sped thru. 5. The bathrooms below deck smelled of sewage. I know the crew must have know this as there were air fresheners in the bathrooms to mask the smell. 6. The trip really ends a day early, on Friday afternoon when the boat arrives in Split and the crew starts closing up.

Was a good mix of people on our boat and had a great time. Food was good and plenty of it. The only downfall would be all the extra costs that I incurred. Was very expensive to eat and drink off board and the extra costs onboard you don’t hear about (unless your into reading the fine print). You have to pay for AC, port taxes, etc. would recommend to a friend but letting them know you will need to be prepared to spend.

We lived on two yachts for a week. We went to a different port city each night to see new sights, and try new foods. Our boat captains took care of a lot of the behind the scenes stuff like docking Reservations, dinner Reservations (when needed), and Diving Reservations for the divers in the group. Every place we visited is truly beautiful. Ivana, Daniel, Mario and the rest of the crew were always there to make sure the trip was as pleasant as possible. The tour was incredibly poorly organised. The company completely fail to train their staff in how to deal with any form of issue outside of the schedule. This included no solution to cancelled trips, no ability to deal with onboard conflicts and issues, and making consistent promises that were not delivered. I did a Topdeck tour at half the price 3 years ago, and I would suggest it is a much better option than this. Sail Croatia failed on every front. The only exception to this was the crew and captain, who made the tour more tolerable.

Beautiful boat (Alfa Mario) great captain, the cabins were spacious and spotlessly clean, very attentive crew, the food was excellent and Irvana was a great tour manager very knowledgeable, we met a lot of interesting characters and made plenty of new friends. We will definitely sail again with sail Croatia, if you are thinking of sailing around Croatia you won't do better than to use Sail Croatia.

The places we visited doing a back to back boat cruise on the Esperanza were beautiful but the six of us (friends) thought our food was very average.for the money we paid. Our Chef seemed to overcook our dishes particularly the main courses. Another gripe we had was there should be shampoo or soap left in our bathroom everyday but the only time shampoo was left was when we had to ask for it. Several noodles would help for our swim stops but everything else was fine and the staff very obliging.

We were fortunate to be amongst a great crowd of guests who all enjoyed each other's company and the excellent dining on board and ashore. We all shared great confidence in the Captain and crew who inobtrusivly went out of their way to make out holiday a comfortable and memorable one. Would have been 5 stars but for the weather on a couple of days. But, hey, swimming in Slano was a pretty good substitute for cycling in the National Forest. Thanks Antonio.

Great company travelling in a group of 16 friends.Others on board the boat were also great and everyone got on well. Staff great, organised and supportive. Would have liked longer bike rides and less time in the villages. Also to have a meal on board at night 2-3 nights a week to enable more group interaction at a social level. Lunches I would have preferred to be while out in the village and then ride more, rather than having to come back to the boat for lunch sometimes late in the day (for lunch)

The organisation of the cruise/cycle was first class and we werr blessed to have such a fine guide in Daniel and his assistant H. The crew of the Tuna were also most helpful, especially our barman Marko, our chef Marko (also) who provided great food under difficult conditions, and our captain who was always most obliging in arranging for timely swims. Ship was great, especially the size of the cabin, bathroom & shower. Highlight was the daily swims. Not enough storage in the cabin especially for 2 people, or in the bathroom. Suggest adding more shelves in the cabin and bathroom. First 2 days of the cruise the employees were not very friendly. Comment by a lot of passengers. They need to smile more and say good morning. It got better by day 3. They need to have a place where we can get coffee early in the morning so we don't have to wait for breakfast. Meals were just ok and not a lot of food except for buffet breakfast. They need to have snacks available like we saw on other cruise ships for afternoon. Top deck was only open for a short time and then closed the rest of the day, It needs to stay open longer. Several commented that there was not enough help or employees on the ship. No one liked the military Island nor the stop before. Everyone would liked to have 2 days in Hvar. Nick was the best worker and did almost everything.

Group leader Tea was great- quite fun and informative on each place we stopped at whilst also making the effort to mingle with us and make our trip the best possible. Overall we were very happy with the cruise however the following may bear consideration: . The tour guide could have been better prepared in that we were directed to some sites that were closed and given inaccurate/ambiguous information regarding pick up points; . our boat, Esperanza, was never anchored within an easy swim to the shore but always in a deep channel; . we were required to pay for tea/coffee when docked but not otherwise; and . our transfer from the airport to our accommodation was deficient in that the driver couldn't find the location and ended up leaving us with directions to walk 100 metres. However his directions were completely wrong, in fact opposite to how we eventually got there....lugging 3 large suitcases

More thought taken into who should be in the groups. Our boat consisted of 4 groups of people. One group of 15 boys from Sydney who we never saw come out of there rooms, a group of 7 from Sydney and only 2 groups of 2. Of that 85% male and everyone was Australian. Couldn’t do many of the group activities because the 2 major groups didn’t want to participate. Whilst everyone was nice, when you have such big groups of prexisting friends it doesn’t create a social atmosphere because people get comfortable in the groups. We also got hyped up for certain nights only to be disappointed, we went to a foam party which had no foam and also nobody else in the club but on that island we found out the next day other travels were taken to clubs that were busy and had great atmosphere’s. We had a change of host in the second day who arrived on the 3rd day. He was better but up until that we had no direction what to expect or what we were doing. I could keep going but not enough letters remaining!

Daniel was a fantastic host and represented the company extremely well. I had a great time and all the crew onboard were really nice. Bartender Ivana was always cheerful and full of life. Chef Igor was a great cook and a very friendly person. While I had limited interactions with the sailors, they were both very nice when I did see them. The boat itself was lacking in some areas. The toilets always had a terrible smell. I understand that sewage systems onboard are not great however the smell in our toilet at all times was unbearable. It was no fault of the company or people on board, but something to consider in the future. All in all, the trip was great!

Had a great week sailing with Sail Croatia. Most guests were Australian and we’re lovely people. It would have been great to meet more people from other countries though. The food was ok but didn’t cater very well for vegetarians. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would recommend Sail Croatia to anyone! Would be great if there were a couple of treadmills and stationary bikes onboard as I saw on some other boats.

Comparing Sail Croatia to 2 other Adriatic cruises on small ships Windstar & Variety at similar cost it would only take a little tweaking to improve “brand” Olimp is a nice new boat with good lower deck cabin size and bathroom. Just 1 hour turnaround between weekly cruises means cleanliness suffers. Acoustics inside dining room had many battling to have a round table conversation and overall food quality competed with onshore Restaurant visits and came second place for most meals unfortunately . Swim stops vs onshore free time compared poorly with Variety cruises program and if I’m being cynical might have something to do with reducing Port Charges and berthing effort same as Windstar. No other cruise at $900/nt fails to put a bottle of water in a cabin with “non potable” sign .Ondeck water cooler ineffective .Toiletries limited to liquid soap pump on wall only . We did the sailing cycling trip aboard Marija Magdelena. I thought the route was great and the food on board was hearty and homely. The cabins were sufficiently spacious and clean. I wouldn't recommend the below deck ones on this ship. Although they have portholes, they cannot be opened, which means there is no airflow and the cabins get very hot and stuffy, especially those right next to the engine room, The average age of our group worked out to about 50 years old, which was lowered significantly by a group of 4 friends in their early 30's. The riding itself was more tour bus touring by bicycle. It felt like we were always waiting. This was partly due to our group makeup and partly due the our main cycle guide who was conducting his fist tour and could speak very limited English. That said, the crew in general really were great and always on hand to do what they can to improve your trip. I would recommend Sail Croatia to others, Next time I'd skip the organised cycling.

The crew of the kraljica Jelena made the difference between a simple standard cruise and a great cruise. Dont get me wrong, the boat itself was superb but you still have to have the right team to get the service and the buzz happening. All the crew were there to service OUR needs on OUR boat and nothing was too simple or too complex. Danjiels effort especially in bringing some of the aquatic life up close shouldnt go without mentioning! A great captain from and with a great boat family and a competent crew of simply nice people , To steal a marketing phrase or two, do yourself a faour and just do it, sail the Kraljica Jelena, i would again. A group of 8 individuals travelling together always presents it own set of difficulties, the options on entertainment on the various islands as explained by the representative allowed all to be entertained in their own way. Arrangements made for restaurants, bookings and recommendations of local entertainment and sights was outstanding. The crew entertained and was part of a unique travel experience that ensured lasting and fond memories. The food prepared by Tony, the chef, was above expectation. I can highly recommend the the cruise to any future travellers, beautiful people, scenery and the country as a whole will ensure a travel experience not soon to be forgotten

This was one of the best holidays I have ever been on but being stuck on a boat with a bunch of teenagers was not what I signed up for!!! I highly recommend you take this trip as you get to see the best of Croatia at your leisure. The staff & crew of The Navigator were amazing. The food onboard was incredible tasty & beers even better. As a married man, along with friends who are also married, the only drawback was sharing the boat with inconsiderate, drunken younglings. This was by no means a cheap holiday & didn't sign up for a party every night. There should be a clear indicator of what age group you will be sharing your trip with. We were under the impression there would be no one under the age of 25 on our boat & this was not the case. Aircon was non existent but you don't really need it if you can keep your cabin door open. Due to the noise levels we could not. All in all it's a trip I will never forget & fell in love with Croatia like no other place in the world.

What I loved; - The price of things were very cheap compared to the UK - Loved sitting on the deck whilst the boat was cruising and taking in the incredible views - Crew were great and very friendly - Beautiful Cities Could improve; - Not enough swim stops, we didn't have any one day and on another we only had a 10 minute swim stop - Maintenace on the boat wasn't great, a few of the fans as well as the light at the back of the boat wasn't working, we needed to use our cellphones for light - Most of the lilos flew of off the back of the boat, other boats tied them up. - Beds were tiny, I'm tall so had to sleep with my feet out the window. - The shower head is an extension from the basin and toilet constantly smelt, not sure if the draining system wasn't great - Our boat cut the music and bar around 10ish where as the other boats went on later. All in all I would recommend it but improvements to the small things would make a big difference.

The crew, the weather & the other guests were all marvelous. However, the star of the show was our rep Stan was an absolute revelation. From the outset he was the perfect host introducing us to the boats staff & explaining everything we needed to know. He was on call for any issues which he resolved effortlessly & nothing ever appearing to be a problem. His knowledge of Croatia & all the destinations on our cruise was impeccable & his energy & enthusiasm appeared to be boundless. He most definitely added to the whole holiday experience.

The boats are comfortable, clean and all the captains (espeshially Igor, who we had) are a good laugh and have lots of useful information. The cruising to the next stop is very relaxing and the swim stops on the way are a great addition to the trip. There were many aspects of this cruise that were superb. The wonderful destinations and planned itinerary coupled with the knowledge of the crew meant that we were well informed about each destination yet it never felt like we were being overly organised. The atmosphere was always relaxed. The crew kept the Boat superbly clean and well maintained and the cabins were always clean and tidy. A couple of minor points that prevent a 5 Star rating: 1. Fixed lunchtime menus with no choice of Starter or Main course. I understand preparation area and storage may be limited however if you don't eat fish..... 2 Cash only for the Bar tab at the end of the cruise can be inconvenient (and difficult if a large amount is required). There should be alternatives for large amounts. Also, no signature required for drinks means that the system is open to mistakes with no way of checking at the end of the week..

The crew on board were great they were always good for a laugh and willing to help out with any issues, the tuna was a better boat than i expected and i would happy sail on the ship again, this was a truly unique experience made even more special by the crew
