Everything was almost perfect, except the noise in the eating room was painful and the noise in the restaurant that we went to as a group was also excruciatingly loud and the food wasn’t very good. I would not recommend the Olimp boat to anybody else until those problems are fixed.

Our tour guide Lola was incredible !!! she was easy to talk to and extremely helpful She helped us arrange water taxis and answered all of our questions. Lola was great !! We were extremely disappointed with the ship's itinerary. Had we knew that the daily swim stop was actually more than 1/2 a day of swimming and that most shore excursions were to start after lunch, Starting shore excursions at 3;00 or 4;00 is just too late . we would not have taken this cruise. We did not come to Europe to swim, we came to see and explore towns and sights. For instance we visited Milena which was a waste of a day, Nothing really to see. I wish we could have spent the time in Split which is a wonderful and interesting city.

Our group of 20 sailed on Sail Croatia’s Elegance Cruise aboard Katarina in late September/early October & had a wonderful experience overall. Katarina is a beautiful luxury vessel. The food & drinks were excellent, while the captain, crew & Sail Croatia guide were incredibly welcoming & accommodating. The onboard experience exceeded expectations. Our disappointment was specifically with the late-season stop in Vela Luka. We spent an entire afternoon & evening there, but much of the town had already closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were shut, taxis & boats were unavailable & we couldn’t arrange transportation to nearby beaches. With our travel dates known well in advance, these seasonal limitations should have been considered. Our group of 20 would have gladly welcomed a different stop or extra time in Dubrovnik. Excellent vessel, food, crew & service—just disappointing itinerary planning for the time of year.

Firstly, the Esperanza is not the most modern in the Sail Croatia fleet - but it it extremely well looked after and is in pristine condiition. The Captain was very friendly and engaging. And all of the 8 crew do an incredible job - they are all very focusing on deliverying outstanding customer service. Our room was very well equiped, comfortable and surprisingly spacious - and the bathroom was a great size. The boat, has plenty of deck space, to sit out in the sun and there are also plenty of shaded areas. The seating areas of the boat and large and comfortable - you never feel there is not enough space. The restaurant was set for 8 people per table. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options. Lunch was a fixed 3 course meal - there was also a small daily salad bar available with lunch. Internet was a. challenge onboard. The only criticism I have is that the tour leader - who was very nice and very helpful - had a focus on cash only tours and cash tips for the crew

The crew were great and the ship was well laid out, very clean and tidy, and well maintained. We missed two destinations we were really looking forward to, the Blue Cave and Mljet island, but no effort was made by Sail Croatia to try and replace these locations with other appropriate destinations. Two destinations we did visit were very poor and of little interest - a walk of an hour allowed you to see all there was, which was not much! There were other blue and emerald caves that we passed on our journey but no effort was made to include these instead. Not a very good outcome and quite disappointing.

Cruise was very nice, here are the positives and then what I would change. Good was food, prices on drinks was fair, Mio on staff, Croatia, cleanliness, captains dinner, communication once on ship, staff responsiveness, I would change the following, better quality water toys (standup paddle boards were cheapest quality imaginable), add “nice touches”( snacks, mints on pillow, thoughtful stuff). Huge lunch unnecessary and getting to islands after 2:30, often even later kinda sucked, change up breakfast offering/spread, outside Mio, Klara and captain, staff wasn’t engaging or customer friendly, everyday long swim stop not ideal or needed/wanted, get us to islands earlier, update website to correct information, (eg pay Bartab with cc or 10% discount for cash, etc, ) and a little disappointed we didn’t get to Vis - due to weather - but a friends boat went same day we should have. Overall very nice but was missing the thoughtful touches to make it a special and outstanding memory.

Was a great time on the Queen Jelena -- Vedrun our tour manager was lovely and super informative. Ship was elegant and rooms were a good size, Food was overall very good onboard. A great way to relax and see Croatia without the trouble of moving hotels. Would be good if the ship left the coffee machine on all day. Also, Sail Croatia should include a few drinks per meal as part of the package. But definitely worth it -- an amazing vacation!

Good but hoped for more time to explore/shop … on the stops. Door stops for bathroom door needed, bathroom re-supply and amenities were poor, toilet was never cleaned in our room. Breakfast window of 8-9 too short when underway by 6-7 each day. A bit more variety in the hot breakfast menu - it was the same fare each day.. More excursions offered with passenger commitment secured before the trip starts - not everyone is into swimming and water sports. Crew and servers were very attentive and friendly. Lunches on board, captain’s dinner and impromptu barbecue dinner on board were excellent. A good sail overall.

Excellent time! Vedran is great tour leader! This boat is Family owned and immaculate! All staff are family and they care deeply about the boat and assuring guests have a great time. The only reason I gave this a 4-star rating is that the air conditioning in the cabins just could not keep up with the boiling outside temperature. Most everyone had issues with the air conditioning. Also, in my opinion, the lighting in the bathrooms is not sufficient. PRO Tip 1: Evidently the cabins below deck stay cooler than those above deck PRO Tip 2: Bring clothing that is quick drying and can be washed in the sink or shower. There are ship bars outside the cabins on the upper deck where you can hang them to dry. Clothes pins are provided. PRO Tip 3: Do not bring anything fancy, cool light weight fabrics are best. PRO Tip 4: A portable travel fan will come in handy. PRO Tip 5: Buy Euro at first island stop for less than getting it at home if not your currency.

Dino was a very good tour leader, esp. nominating specific restaurants to eat evening meals at on each island we frequented. The crew were attentive, the cabin cleaning staff were top notch. Swim stops were great. Food was good but there seemed to be an extensive use of puréed vegetables! Music played non stop inside the boat even if no one was there? Still, a good experience.

The sailing holiday was very good, the boat , OLIMP, was great and the size of the cabin brilliant. Service was very good by the staff and Dino was quite good as the co-ordinator. The only issue was with the payment of the bar. tab at the end of the trip and what cards that were accepted. A few things should be made clearer at the start of the trip so as not to have them becoming an issue on the last night. I will be recommending this trip to fiends for sure.

Katerina is owned and crewed by the family. This is a 5 star rating. Ship is spotless and crew are the best. Owner and crew (mostly family and cousins) are so attentive to every detail. Meals: adequate and enjoyable but not outstanding. Captains' dinner was very good. Activities: not memorable. Walking tour in Dubrovnik was boring. Ship provided dinner was not impressive. Should have stayed in port and gone to local restaurant Ioana our tour director was 5 stars' She had to deal with a lot of shifting itinerary and was a truly shing star for the passengers. Overall was a nice experience. Met a lot of good people and that was a big plus; Croatia is very expensive on the street Plan to spend some BIG $$ in local establishments. Overall, a check on our bucket list. Nice but would not do again

We sailed on the Queen Jelena (Split North itinerary). Beautiful boat, really good crew. The food onboard was just OK, often just warm rather than hot. A 3 course lunch is not what most people have day to day at home and the thoughts from fellow passengers were thst this was a bit rigid and maybe a buffet style lighter lunch would be better as it felt you had breakfast and a couple of hours later a large lunch making you lethargic. Trips were ok, village dinner was good, buggy trip was good but not best value. More time needed in Dubrovnik as it beautiful, I would skip the walking tour (pointless) and enjoy more time exploring yourself. All stops on this itinerary were beautiful. One last point; the daily briefing should be carried out using the TV in the saloon as shown on the website content so you can actually get a visual idea of your day ahead. The WhatsApp group is useful when it's set up. Overall a good experience, 7.5/ 10

Martina and Mio were great. The Guide from Sail Croatia was a little tightly wound and confrontational. The food was just okay, and that’s probably generous. The worst part was all the noise on the boat. Spend ten bucks and put felt sliders on the chairs in the saloon. Seriously. The chair sliding noise killed all the cabins right below it. The drink prices were stupid for what you get. The food was very forgettable. But the boat and the crew were good!

First of all the added costs. Quite a few of the added activities were charged. The prices when converted to Australian dollars were quite expensive. Recommended tipping at the end was very high and this was noted by other passengers as well. We were looking at around AU$700 for the service. Considering how much we paid for the cruise wevconsidered it unreasonable to expect extra charges like this on top. Meals. Breakfasts were very nice. However, some of the lunches were variable in quality. Generally, the entree and deserts were fine but some of the main courses were not to liking. Captains dinner was disappointing. The Entertainment was noisy: not allowing any kind of conversation between the passengers. As an older couple, we found the loud music and tactic singing and dancing to be a bit disconcerting. Nikos and Ivanka were both friendly and always helpful. 5 stars to both of them. Also, the cabin was comfortable and clean and about was beautifully presented.

We were on the Esperanza which is an excellent facility. The food and service were outstanding. I think every port stop should include a walking tour. I think it would be good to have the boat docked while we are at lunch so you could walk off immediately after lunch. Our cruise director Mia worked very hard to keep everything organized. Unfortunately she is difficult to understand as her speech is very rapid fire. The guests got to know each and all were friendly. Lovely overall experience!

Excellent ship (Romantic Star) and crew. Wonderful sights and stops, particularly the swim stops. Island overnights in Korcula, Hvar. Dubrovnic were spectacular. The food was generally very good and accomodations were made for those with dietary requirement. It’s amazing how these meals were created in such a small galley. We would suggest some improvements should be made in the quality control of optional excursions, such as in our case, the Vis Island tour where 8 passengers were required to travel in a 4 seater Jeep with 4 of us in the back cargo area on wooden benches with no seat belts! We would also suggest that Sail Croatia provide the option to sign up for excursions when booking so that can be included in the price of the trip. Otherwise, sailing is a great way to see Croatia which is a very hilly country when travelling by land.

Sailing on the Olimp with Sail Croatia was, overall, a very good experience. The boat itself was fantastic, and the crew were excellent. However, a couple of things did take the shine off the trip. Firstly, in the cabins there’s a constant whirring from the extractor fans throughout the night. The air-conditioning is fine, but these bathroom fans never switch off. We asked for them to be turned off, which they kindly did on the first night, but for the rest of the week we had to put up with the noise—such a shame. Secondly, breakfast was always served in the dining area, which is air-conditioned, but with all the doors kept closed the sound of 30 people chatting becomes deafening. It seems such a missed opportunity not to let guests spread out onto the aft deck, where there’s fresh air and space for the noise to dissipate.

our guide, Vedran, combined with the absolutely lovely ship Queen Jelena and it's expert captain/owner (Gordan? sorry), combined for a wonderful experience. Exploring the Dalmatian Coast this way was amazing and everything we hoped it would it be, and was so much more. Vedran informed, educated, coddled and tolerated all of us crazy tourists with grace, humor, and bottomless patience. The captain found us the most beautiful swimming spots each day, and navigated through the islands so smoothly, especially during the few rough waters we had. The boat is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and relatively brand new (2018)! My only quibbles would be with the kitchen. The Captain's dinner was one of the best meals we had in our 2 weeks in Croatia (and probably the most fun!), and all the lunches were lovely (though the chef could have used a lighter touch with the tuna steaks and racks of lamb to better represent his skills). We just wish the breakfast window was longer and less rigid.

The beautiful ship. The amazing swim stops. The clean and spacious cabins. The ‘welcome on board’ canapés. The opportunity to experience some beautiful, picturesque islands. The Captains dinner. The itinerary. Mio & the lovely cleaning lady who cleaned our cabins. Only having 14 guests on board. Room for improvement:: The staff could be more friendly (except Mio and the cleaning lady - they couldn’t do enough for you); there should be more fish served as part of our lunches as we are out at sea and in the Adriatic! The lunches were lovely but certainly could be improved; the breakfasts and fresh fruit needed to be replenished as you were scared of having too much and not leaving enough for other passengers. It was not clear that you could have more. The chief female waitress in my opinion didn’t want to be there and that was more than obvious at times. As there was only 14 guests on board, it felt like most of the crew were ‘on a jolly’ and did not make enough effort to satisfy.

We really enjoyed the itinerary and The Esperanza was very well maintained. However some issues need addressing. The staff don’t appear to be very happy in their work place. Deck hands rarely smiled, the waitress in the salon was at times most inappropriate and borderline rude. It’s not every day you hear the F word or gestures using an arms whilst talking to passengers. So totally unprofessional and disrespectful to the Captain.. We appreciate that crew are able to go ashore for free time but please don’t tell the passengers that drinking of alcohol was consumed whilst ashore and then come onto deck to work; Safely for guests and crew surely should be paramount. The salon steward Mio went above and beyond to make every moment a pleasurable experience. The food lacked any wow factor, breakfast tepid, cold ravioli not nice, lettuce leaves as a salad, fruit bowl not replenished until we complained Only 14 guests in total and that shouldn’t mean less effort.. Representive did his job.

The ship was immaculately fitted out, crew were friendly, helpful and courteous. Food was substantial and generally good standard. But not gourmet as photography on brochures suggested. The islands were interesting and great to explore, however, a couple had very little to keep us occupied and exploring( notably Brac). Sail Croatia events coordinator was always helpful and available to help and plan for each stopover.. We felt that more entertainment in evenings even one more early on in cruise would have brought guests and crew together . The evening dinner on one of the islands was extremely disappointing, both for location and the meal itself.

Croatia is a beautiful country and our tour guide/runner was a local that was very knowledgeable in this aspect. Cons: Lunch was in general, underwhelming for the cost. My wife is a health nut, and I saw her salt food for the first time in my life. When paying this premium on price I would expect the food to be more elevated, or at least more enjoyable. The video implied more access to the boat than we received. Several small requests - like opening windows, screens, etc were denied and the requests themselves often felt as if we were asking the staff to move mountains. Tour guide was not particularly friendly, often had condescending responses to guests, & occasionally left out vital info when visiting particular islands (i.e cash only). Unfortunately, the experience on the cheaper options is probably more reflective of the value you receive on the Elegance line.

We reserved a few years ago but then the COVID Pandemic landed. We had to cancel and Sail Croatia were so great to deal with. A full refund no hassle. We rebooked six months ago and just returned home. We were on the ESperanza Dubrovnik return. Boarding was easy. We met with Mia the cruise director. Such a lovely warm kind person. She was so organised . We got great information and recommendations where to go when ashore. The food was very good . Anna and Antonio were our servers and bar tenders. Nothing was too much trouble to them. The weather was not the best but the captain and the sailors had to rearrange the itinerary to avoid the rough seas at times. We felt safe at all times and managed swim stops in secluded bays every day. Overall we loved it. We made new friends who we will keep in contact with. Two small areas that could improve. The hairdryer in the room wasn't great so I'm told. Also the ladders for getting back onboard after swimming need to be longer. Excellent.

The boat has everything from under 18 to 65 year Olds plus. Given we spend most of the time on the boat it's frustrating that you put people who have limited interest groups or different stages of life. We were told this was suited to 30 to 40 year Olds. The experiences and tours were all for old people and the boat has very limited toys or experiences so all you can do is eat bad food, sunbake and drink to put up with the small talk - give more information to people prior to joining as Croatia is lovely but this isn't a great way to do it

Our tour/customer representative, Barbra, was great. The islands were good with a couple of things. We didn't get to explore Vis much since we stayed korcula.. Korcula was great. We stayed in Mijet which was not worth the stop. As for the food. Breakfast was good but could have had more options instead of eggs. Lunch was over the top each day. The food was good. The night before and the day of decorating, we felt rushed off the boat. We had to be off by 9am. Jacuzzi was emptied the night before and could not be used. Did not understand why decorating time could not have been around 11.. The staff was great and the swim stops we a pleasure.

On arrival we were greeted by Ioana who welcomed us in a very professional and courteous manner. The ship Olimp was amazing. Very modern and clean. The crew were equally professional and a special mention must go to our housekeeper. She was the BEST. Our cabin was always cleaned with fresh towels which made our experience even more enjoyable knowing that everything was clean. Ioana who was in charge of cruise went over and above to ensure everything was perfect for all the guests on board. She was a true professional and I cannot thank her enough for making our cruise so very special and memorable. Thank you!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience sailing on Olimp. Beautiful vessel with everything being first class. Couple of minor things they could improve the experience with but overall wonderful. Excellent food, beautiful clean cabins, excellent staff/crew and stopped in fantastic swimming locations.

Overall the trip was excellent. However if you look into the fine details then you can find major issues. For example tipping policy is terrible ad should be scrapped. Company say one figure staff say a different figure and service you receive is not worth either amount. Some staff’s appearance could improve especially first thing in the morning at breakfast. Sail Croatia and crew of Jelena, have forgotten who the customer is, in respect of, a customer works hard to save money to go on holiday and we are all suffering with cost of living being expensive no different to the crew. Excellent on the face but poor in detail

What we liked about Sail Croatia: The boat was beautiful and the staff was courteous and helpful. We enjoyed the overnight stays, and the optional UNESCO dinner. What we did not like about Sail Croatia:: The hot tub was not hot, lukewarm at best. Meals choices were limited if you did not like the day’s meals you were out of luck as there were no other choice. No activities or music on board other than a swim stop (weather permitting). The included traditional dinner venue was nice but the food was too bland for our taste. The bar staff charged our account for a bottle of wine and several drinks that we did not order. They need a better accounting system for the onboard liquor. This cruise is better suited for people who want it quiet and with minimum people. For people who enjoy lounging in the sun reading books as there is little else to do when you are onboard. This type of cruise is not for us.

Sail Croatia is a customer oriented company and we are glad we sailed with them. The ports we visited were fantastic. The ability to select from a number of organized tours at each port or just do your own thing was much appreciated. Croatia is a beautiful country and we felt safe and welcomed everywhere we went. However, there are a few things you should consider. You don’t get to most ports until mid afternoon each day so might have less exploration time than you anticipated. The breakfast selections were great but lunches and dinners are at set times and set menus. We loved it but be aware you get what they serve. Our lower level room was very nice, but it was only serviced a couple times in the whole week and twice we had to ask for things like toilet paper, garbage to be emptied and dry towels. Oddly enough other rooms had the same issues while others were tended to daily which was weird. No idea why the discrepancy, but the final assessment is we had fun and would do it again.

After four weeks of independent traveling through major cities, the pace of the seven day cruise was very welcome and needed. The daily routine of a generous buffet breakfast, relaxing on the deck before a swim and then a three course lunch before departing for shore for the afternoon, was very pleasant in the beautiful weather we had. The cruise offered a glimpse of the beautiful cities and islands Croatia has to offer, which I would now like to explore further. We had two evening meals and a lavish wine and cheese night on board too. Daily activities are offered at an extra cost, with some requiring minimum numbers to go ahead. Most people on our cruise were retired or nearing retirement and shared many common interests, (particularly travel) which created a great atmosphere. Staff were terrific.

The boat was modern and comfortable. The meals were excellent most of the time. The crew was courteous and helpful. V was informative and entertaining. My suggestions would be that Sail Croatia should model their cruises after Viking. Include a drink package and include the daily excursions in the initial price. It would make the cruise more carefree, more relaxed and enjoyable.

Great staff, beautiful boat. Our cabin was unusually small compared to others on our cruise - even single person cabins were significantly larger, notably the shower. Cabins need more hooks or places to dry things. Food on the cruise was great - though breakfast could have had more variety. Itinerary took us to fantastic locations. Wish we could have spent more time exploring the locales on our own. Our cruise director Mia was spectacular! The two group events on the boat needed some help. The cocktail hour on the top deck was lit with horrible emergency lighting and not conducive to a party atmosphere. The captain's dinner concept was nice, but we would have preferred to eat in a local village restaurant, The entertainment at the captain's dinner was clearly skewed to an older audience and half the room left before the music was finished. But overall we really enjoyed our experience.

We loved our trip with Sail Croatia on the Olimp. Wonderful ports, beautiful swim stops, lovely food, pleasant hard working staff. However, our trip was spoilt but poor communication prior to us leaving home as we did not know that all payments once on board were to be in cash. For a cruise of this luxury status, we find this unbelievable, but prior knowledge would have enabled us to better prepared and not worry every day about what we were spending.

The ship was very nicely appointed. It was clean and comfortable. The cruise destinations were all very special and memorable. I really enjoyed my time with Sail Croatia. Our tour guide, Mia, was excellent. Pamela and Toemo stood out amongst the crew. They worked diligently and were very pleasant. There were a few areas of opportunity for improvement. The crew (Sailors) could have been much more friendlier. A simple smile and hello when passing guest would make a big difference. They would not even acknowledge you. The food presentation and service was very good. The food quality and taste needs a lot of improvement. The food was either very bland (no flavor) or very salty. The desserts were good, but the meals (lunches/dinner) were not. The coffee on the boat was terrible! This is such a simple offering that goes a long way. It was instant coffee and it was only offered until noon everyday. Thank you

The concept is great. The ports we visited were fantastic. I loved the swimming each day and we were very fortunate to have an awesome group on board. The group would mean the difference between a good time and an awesome time. We were lucky. I did find the breakfasts a little tedious with the same items served up every day with almost no variety. The cabins were clean, but the curtains need to be upgraded to block out light. Having a cabin directly under the dining room meant we could hear every chair movement after each meal with the staff cleaning the floors. Ivana the cruise director was sensational. She made the adventure fun. Aside from the few recommendations it was a fun trip,

We though sail Croatia was good value for money but later found better boats for way cheaper. Disappointed in the service, cleanliness and food . Room floor was not washed once, luckily small and washed ourself. , The shower not cleaned once. Had to ask to change the linen, when we were informed that it will be changed on the Wednesday. It was eventually done on Thursday. Food quality of an old age home. Asked for double bed slept on two single beds. Later found that owner of ship children work on the boat. Thats maybe why! Stops on islands was however amazing and Boris / tour operator working for the boat was very helpful and assisting us with places to visit and Restaurants suggestions on the islands. The boat was way more expensive that a big cruise liner and does not justify the cost of this small boat travelling. When we got of the boat there was no farewell greeting by the staff or someone helping with the luggage. 😪😢.

It was a great 7 days on the Queen Jelena and the schedule saw us visit fantastic islands from Split to Dubrovnik. We had a great crowd of people on our trip, and swim stops were amazing. Cabin was better than we anticipated. Food was bland and lacking vegetables and salads of any kind, soup on a 35 degree day is not ideal. There is an opportunity in this area. Our tour guide was pretty absent, apart from his lunch time speech, although he was humorous. Would recommend doing this trip.

Calm sea, daily swim off back of boat, perfect passenger numbers 38 in 19 cabins, getting to see a new Croatian island every day, fantastic sea water temperature - easy to stay in water for an hour, fantastic scenery and sightseeing particularly in the older areas of Split, Dubrovnik and Korcula, visit to Blue Cave in Viz, watching/dancing at the battle of the bands (Beatles v Rolling Stones), Captain’s Dinner & live music. excellent quality of food & staff, impressive cabins with excellent shower, fantastic group of passengers of similar age

The collection from the airport on arrival was somewhat disorganised - but we were dropped off at our hotel eventually. Unfortunately, on the 5th day, my wife and I were violently sick along with several others on the boat at the same time. The tour manager thought it must be a bug as they had a similar problem the previous week, however, as 8 people came down at the same time, we felt it was possibly food poisoning. Unfortunately it ruined the holiday and made our journey home quite difficult. We were told that breakfast on the day of departure would be starting at 7am, but none was available by 7:20am when we left for our bus to the airport. We were hoping for some toast.

Amazing sea coastal island sceneries cruising on a luxury Yatch. Great sunrise each morning, and will remember for ever my Turkish cafe. The best daily swim in theses clear Dalmatian waters with a captain who found great quite safe water spot paradise for us. A fantastic cruise team on board on this week in particular, top front house waiters, doing their best, and always pleasant with the guests..amazing guys Great adventure expedition journey in each town well organized and explained by Slavran. Love his character, and passion for his country Croatia. About the chef, and his delivery product, a very poor results, and a no interest in what he does. The breakfast buffet were fine, and sorry but the lunch menu and food were a shame in relation to the image and the service that your company want to achieve. That would be the issue that you need to work on it. Simple fresh food with care , attention, balance of the menu, and a touch of imagination, this is what the people like.

Compared to recent cruises in the region, the food quality and choice offered was poor and repetitive. Bar closed too early in the evening. Pillows in the room were substandard and uncomfortable. Our guide, Stefan, was excellent and did his best to make it a great experience - even if we had some very bad weather at the beginning. The boat and the crew were fine and the service excellent. We think there could be more attention paid to safety - a clearer set of instructions what to do in case of emergency and a member of the crew on duty 24 hours per day. The food was fine but at some points they ran out of salad bar and fruit salad. There should MORE than enough of everything like that.

Overall we enjoyed our time on the beautiful Queen Jelena. We unfortunately missed out on 2 of the islands due to weather and whilst we understand you can not control the weather we feel a small compensation (another dinner on the boat, free tab for the day etc) could have been offered, as the ship would have saved significant amounts of money by NOT sailing.

The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to make the cruise a great experience. As an example, a guest suffered a family tragedy; and within minutes the staff was already coordinating arrangements for her to get to her family. Our only complaint is that they weren't able to modify the agenda to accommodate weather conditions unsuitable for swimming. We spent a lot of dead time waiting for an afternoon docking slot because the weather wasn't suitable for swimming at the selected swimming locations.

The bar staff should also understand how to make drinks if have them on the list of drinks. The passenger coordinator, Ioana, was amazing - great communication regarding what was ahead and very responsive to any passenger needs. There was food aplenty; we joked about getting three dinners every day. Best of all were the stops - every island is rich in history and allowed for easy access to the key sites. I wish we had more time at each stop so maybe next time I'll book a longer cruise.

The ship itself, MS Olimp, was superb...one of the best on the circuit. Captain Yuri takes immense pride in, and care of his ship, which is genuine luxury. Comfort and safety of his passengers was Yuri's number one priority. All the crew were chilled and attentive. Vedran, our Sail Croatia representative, was always 'on point' and we loved his comedic irony and dry sense of humour. 'V' was also extremely knowledgeable about his country's history. The island ports we visited were just so charming and picturesque. Milna in particular was rustic and authentic in a cosy harbour, and Korcula was just beautiful. We never knew the Croatian Islands had so much charm. If you love small ship cruises, the Elegance Cruise is just for you.

There were some excursions which were listed as 'included' e.g. the Orientation Walks on Korcula and Hvar which were not provided. Our guide, Mia, explained that local regulations prohibited her from conducting these tours. Although, when we booked the holiday, we specified that my wife did not eat either meat, or shellfish, the chef onboard seemed unaware of this. The alternative provided was often very unimaginative and disappointing. E.g. At a lunch when I was given a generous portion of steak and mashed potato, she was simply presented with a larger dollop of mashed potato with a little veg.. Unfortunately I lost one electronic cabin door key and subsequently damaged its replacement. I was therefore charged for 2 replacement keys at 200Kn each. Your itinerary specifies a charge of 150Kn. Even this is excessive for a credit-card sized piece of plastic. Other cruise companies provide replacement keys free. The plunge pool was empty throughout The hot tub took 4 days to fill.

The ship staff and quality of service is not what we experienced on our period 2 trips with sail croatia. 1. Rooms, bed comforters were just placed on beds. There were never completely done up with pillows, 2 of the days we’re not even done, mirror was dirty for the week. 2. Bar service was poor, common drinks were never made properly. Previous trips with sail croatia, a glass of wine was served with lunch. 3. We received a nice bottle of champagne since it was out 3 rd trip. We don’t drink champagne so we asked them to deliver it to a newlywed couple on the boat. It was never done. We asked what happened to the bottle, it was then delivered 4 days later. 4. Food quantity and quality was poor, always ran out of fruit for breakfast and salad for lunch. When asked if they had any more salad they said it was all gone, 5. Final Bill, They added a $200 kuna ($30Us) charge to reprogram the key that never worked. After arguing with them they reversed it.

Such a relaxing way to see a lot of Croatia. Everyday new villages to explore, new restaurants to try, sampling new drinks in hidden bars up lanes and alleys. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to ensure you enjoyed your time on aboard, with good food and lots of it. A multinational bunch of travellers who soon become a group of friends to share the trip with and stories of each other’s lives. Improvements:- small things such as padded sun bed covers, stronger aircon in rooms. Daily visible Computerised drinks bill so you know what cash is required, longer stays in port, I would recommend this holiday and will certainly be repeating this format for all future holidays.

This is a well structured sail program with good island tours and there is still time for recreation in the form of swimming off the boat. The tours are well chosen and the guides’ seem dedicated to their country The administration of the bar service with sometimes extremely rigid closing times- 11pm - on shore an early closure time - renders the service unsatisfactory I presume the extremely small amounts of bathroom amenities- soap shampoo - is intended to be a green effort. It just caused us to buy our own which constitutes “penny pinching”

We will definitely sail again with sail Croatia, if you are thinking of sailing around Croatia you won't do better than to use Sail Croatia.

On arrival we were at once impressed by the beautiful lines of the Ship for intents a luxury yacht. The location on Split dock alongside a number of other similar vessels added to the scene. As the group met for the first time we were introduced to crew and of course the Captain. The roles for each were clearly stated and very quickly we were underway to our first port of call. But before that there was swimming in the refreshing ad sparkling Adriatic. Lunch followed and we were quickly into the rhythm of what was seven fabulous days. The island we visited and the spots where we swam all had unique attributes impossible to reach in any other fashion One of the highlights was the visit to Dubrovnik a magnificent location with so much to offer, We were also fortunate to avoid be coincident with the arrival of the monster cruise ships and enjoyed an excellent tour. Much to soon we were headed to Split having enjoyed some the most relaxing and days ever. Sail on Olimp

The places we visited doing a back to back boat cruise on the Esperanza were beautiful but the six of us (friends) thought our food was very average.for the money we paid. Our Chef seemed to overcook our dishes particularly the main courses. Another gripe we had was there should be shampoo or soap left in our bathroom everyday but the only time shampoo was left was when we had to ask for it. Several noodles would help for our swim stops but everything else was fine and the staff very obliging.

The breakfast is very repetitive with limited choice. Fresh milk would certainly help improve the tea,coffee and breakfast experience. More fresh towels should be made available especially deck towels as the loungers were constantly wet. No attempt was made to cover them or stack them overnight. The standard of the cabin cleaning was poor and on one of the days no one on the boat had their rooms cleaned. The itinerary needs a lot of improvement you are often sitting off shore from the Islands waiting for a docking time. This can be very late in the afternoon. Water taxis should be offered to those guests who would like to go ashore and explore. The communication between the cruise director was poor and we often second guessing amongst ourselves what might be happening next. If definitely felt like the end of the season and everyone except the guests were looking forward to it being over and this was reflected in the service we recieved from some of the crew.

Esperanza is a beautiful ship maintained to an extremely high standard with helpful and attentive crew. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. The whole cruise was well organised and every port of call was fascinating. The only criticism would be the food which although it was wholesome and well presented would have been much better if hot breakfasts had been warmer than lukewarm and main dishes had not been overcooked.

We were fortunate to be amongst a great crowd of guests who all enjoyed each other's company and the excellent dining on board and ashore. We all shared great confidence in the Captain and crew who inobtrusivly went out of their way to make out holiday a comfortable and memorable one. Would have been 5 stars but for the weather on a couple of days. But, hey, swimming in Slano was a pretty good substitute for cycling in the National Forest. Thanks Antonio.

We really connected with Matteo Bartenders Carlos and tomislav were great as well as Ivana our maid. We were a bit disappointed in some of the meals served. For example we had tuna one day which was overdone. I prefer tuna rare as most people would. Overall a great experience

Ship was great, especially the size of the cabin, bathroom & shower. Highlight was the daily swims. Not enough storage in the cabin especially for 2 people, or in the bathroom. Suggest adding more shelves in the cabin and bathroom. First 2 days of the cruise the employees were not very friendly. Comment by a lot of passengers. They need to smile more and say good morning. It got better by day 3. They need to have a place where we can get coffee early in the morning so we don't have to wait for breakfast. Meals were just ok and not a lot of food except for buffet breakfast. They need to have snacks available like we saw on other cruise ships for afternoon. Top deck was only open for a short time and then closed the rest of the day, It needs to stay open longer. Several commented that there was not enough help or employees on the ship. No one liked the military Island nor the stop before. Everyone would liked to have 2 days in Hvar. Nick was the best worker and did almost everything.

The people and the itinerary made the trip great. The food variety and level of quality lacked the level of the rest of the trip. The cruise was named “Elegance” and the food did not match that level. I would garner a different venue for the village meal even though our host was great. Breakfast needed some variety. This is not a reflection on Marko who performed fine with what he had to work with. Mireya was kind and obviously knew her stuff. Both were great additions to our experience. Tomo and Vedran served with care and attentive focus. They were very personable and efficient. They receive high marks as well. Our stateroom was always in order and clean after Danijelo serviced the area. She was personable as well although we could not converse with her a lot. Vedran, as our guide and host, served all of us with intention and focus. His sense of humor and his knowledge of each stop and our entire experience could not have been better. The tour guide could have been better prepared in that we were directed to some sites that were closed and given inaccurate/ambiguous information regarding pick up points; . our boat, Esperanza, was never anchored within an easy swim to the shore but always in a deep channel; . we were required to pay for tea/coffee when docked but not otherwise; and . our transfer from the airport to our accommodation was deficient in that the driver couldn't find the location and ended up leaving us with directions to walk 100 metres. However his directions were completely wrong, in fact opposite to how we eventually got there....lugging 3 large suitcases

The boat was very well maintained and the rooms were very clean and functional. The crew were pleasant, attentive and service focussed. Plenty to eat but the food was average at best. Breakfast adequate, lunch well below par taste-wise. Where we were underwhelmed was with the way the itinerary played out with swimming and excursions and with the cruise director. For example, the first day we sailed for an hour and a half to Milna then docked around 2.30pm. Next morning we sailed 100 metres then spent over an hour refuelling - result no swim stop. Why was refuelling not carried out the afternoon before? Another example we sailed to Korcula arriving mid-morning and asked in a channel offshore to have lunch and then get a water taxi late afternoon to the town. Many people would gladly have skipped lunch and gone exploring in the morning give the option. No info given about swim options in Korcula which were far batter than bobbing in a deep channel. Just not up to scratch.

The fact that it was a small cruise is the reason we went. The format was good, rooms were great, and the overall experience was memorable. We were not to happy with our rep who was vague at times, lacked confidence and misinformed us on several occasions. He did get most of the passengers off side. Ana the onboard rep took the worry out of every decision (places to go, dining, problems, transfers etc), and was absolutely outstanding. Her dedication was exemplary. Amongst the guests, a community spirit developed & we all had a ball, whatever the event. Boat was kept spotlessly clean throughout. Lunches were nicely presented and although a little simple, they were always imaginative and enjoyable. While relaxing, felt you were on your own boat! Breakfasts were lacking and as they were buffet style, if you were not first in you often missed out! Cabin had all amenities but the wardrobe was very small & problematic. Hooks on walls needed. Bed & linens comfy but needed extra pillows. The swim stops would have benefited by having some “toys” and canoes would have been welcome. Main disappointment was I specifically asked not to be allocated the noisy cabin (upper deck!) next to the engine as it was wife's special birthday — and that’s where we were put! All in all - a fantastic time!

Comparing Sail Croatia to 2 other Adriatic cruises on small ships Windstar & Variety at similar cost it would only take a little tweaking to improve “brand” Olimp is a nice new boat with good lower deck cabin size and bathroom. Just 1 hour turnaround between weekly cruises means cleanliness suffers. Acoustics inside dining room had many battling to have a round table conversation and overall food quality competed with onshore Restaurant visits and came second place for most meals unfortunately . Swim stops vs onshore free time compared poorly with Variety cruises program and if I’m being cynical might have something to do with reducing Port Charges and berthing effort same as Windstar. No other cruise at $900/nt fails to put a bottle of water in a cabin with “non potable” sign .Ondeck water cooler ineffective .Toiletries limited to liquid soap pump on wall only . Towels thin scratchy and old . Antonio great - ,issues raised on day 1 Head office ostrich attitude Sad

We had a lovely time and only write these comments to assist you in providing a better experience. My wife and I have cruised 6 times on Windstar: 1 large Holland liner: 1 Avalon river cruise & 1 Viking River Cruise. The smaller ship, with fewer passengers, was wonderful. Our comments: 1). The staff was exceptional. Kudos to Mia & the Captain 2). The food was so-so. A) Breakfast needed variety. B); Too many sauces, or gravy, on entrees C) Salads were fantastic D). Seafood was so-so 3). Need to open something on ship early in the morn. My wife and I are early risers and felt trapped in our room. Would have been nice to have somewhere for coffee 4). We would have liked more time in the ports, less time hanging out in the ship. Overall, we were quite pleased.

On the whole my review is very favorable. Comfortable cabins, delightful crew, excellent cruise director. Good facilities (the jacuzzi could have been warmer). A nice ship. What could be improved? The presentation of the food was very good, but the quality was, with a few exceptions quite average and a couple of occasions inedible ie. very over cooked tuna. And I suspect the vegetables were of the frozen variety. Breakfast, although plentiful and tasty was exactly the same for 7 days. No variety at all. The wine offered at lunch was the same everyday and not particularly good and this was a complaint from most of the guests I spoke to. But overall, if you could improve on the food, I could definitely recommend Sail Croatia.

The boat was pristine. Shared areas comfortable and attractive. Beds, shower, service of room excellent. Private areas looked a bit utilitarian and could do with a few more grab rails; useful for rough weather and for drying of washing of smalls. A dedicated washing and drying room on boat would be great. Food was beautifully presented, however more often than not meat and fish over cooked and hard/dry; almost inedible. Maybe the cooking facilities were not up to the task of preparing roasted or grilled meat or fish. Final niggle, and one that I think was petty. Bottled water should have been supplied to each room; to charge for it and a cup of tea, both of which are inexpensive was petty and seemed grasping. Pity!

Travelled the Esperanza for one week in high summer. The cruise was a fantastic escape from all the crowds. The super friendly crew and service was outstanding. The itinerary gave a great snapshot of the Dalmatia coast line and many swim stops inthe crystal blue waters a worthy memorable event. Made many friends onboard and sad it came to an end.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week aboard the Diamond on our journey from Dubrovnik to Split. The crew were amazing, friendly and very helpful. The boat was everything we expected. The cabins were spacious and well appointed. We loved the fact that we could enjoy a swim most days and laze away the morning on the sundeck. Our arrival at our destination was dependent on the local port authorities and on most days this gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. We appreciated being given advice on where to dine when we arrived in port. I have told my friends how much I enjoyed my cruise. There is really nothing I could complain about.

Very disappointed not having tea or coffee available all day. As water in cabins undrinkable, water bottles should have been available in the rooms. Spending so little time in Hvar and Dubrovnik was disappointing and only 3 stops for swimming was also surprising. Family night and the Captain's Dinner was a lot of fun! Overall, we enjoyed ourselves but thought the company could have made it better at little additional cost.

The sites at which we stopped were stunning. Some bad weather at the start forced us to Milna, which is not so interesting, and obviously Bol would have been a much better stop. However, we appreciate the need for safety. Stan, our host, was superb. His passion, energy and knowledge helped to make the trip even more enjoyable. He related comfortably with everyone and was kind and thoughtful in his dealings with us all. He really was a star and we were grateful to have had him as our host. We were also blessed with some wonderful guests who made our trip even more memorable. Obviously, this is impossible for Sail Croatia to organise, but it seems to work out well. One thing I would suggest to the company is to manage double room bookings more effectively. The idea that a double bed is not guaranteed is ridiculous. This information could be collected as bookings are made. We were notified the day before that we had single beds and were saved only by another couple willing to swap.

A fabulous, relaxing and sociable week which includes the most beautiful scenery and enables passengers to gain an inside into many lovely Croatian Islands. The Olimp boat is stunning and the cabins good. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable. The downside is the food, it truly was awful, having lunch together is a great idea but a variety of salads, bread and cheeses etc would have been good. Lots of swimming which was wonderful but nowhere to dry anything. Drinks on board are extortionately priced so ask before you buy. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable week.

Our Elegance cruise was just that, very spacious and modern boat being the Olimp. The crew were very caring and Mia kept us well informed every day of activities. You could be as busy or relaxed as you wanted to be, Our daily lunch was huge and varied. We never felt crowded as there was plenty of room around the boat. Disappointments was being allocated twin beds upon upgrading to a upper deck room. The bar tab at the end is something to watch. There is no price list for the bar and we had to trust a pencil ledger at the end with no dates or prices. We only used the bar on two nights one being half price wine night, (7 wines, 1 beer) and the captains dinner 2 bottles red $65AUD each, 3 wines, 1 beer. 2 beers during the day. This came to over $400AUD total for the 4 of us travelling. Should have reviewed before paying as something was clearly wrong. My suggestion would be drinks to be signed off as ordered and prices given. Others had warned us prior re Sail Croatia bar tabs.

The only bad point throughout was food. Some was almost inedible and much was served cold. Most days more was left than eaten. Having now done a second cruise I know this is not your usual standard, food on second cruise was much, much better. Although my wife and I enjoyed this cruise very much the food was not satisfactory for what is sold as luxury. This needs to be attended to immediately.

The highlight of the cruise was swimming in the Adriatic Sea, and relaxing on the Olimp. We enjoyed daily visits to the islands, and would have preferred to have more time in Hvar and been able to moar at Bol rather than the other side of the island.

There were many aspects of this cruise that were superb. The wonderful destinations and planned itinerary coupled with the knowledge of the crew meant that we were well informed about each destination yet it never felt like we were being overly organised. The atmosphere was always relaxed. The crew kept the Boat superbly clean and well maintained and the cabins were always clean and tidy. A couple of minor points that prevent a 5 Star rating: 1. Fixed lunchtime menus with no choice of Starter or Main course. I understand preparation area and storage may be limited however if you don't eat fish..... 2 Cash only for the Bar tab at the end of the cruise can be inconvenient (and difficult if a large amount is required). There should be alternatives for large amounts. Also, no signature required for drinks means that the system is open to mistakes with no way of checking at the end of the week..

Elegant, immaculate, lovely itinerary, the ship perfect. The crew so hard-working and attentive. The ship was very glamorous and classy and the number of guests perfect. I loved the village dinner. The lunch on the ship lacked choices, however and I was surprised that we were limited to 2 slots a day for coffee and tea. Poor quality of coffee. Lack of toiletries in cabin. Overall a wonderful experience; a few tweaks and it would be perfection.

We enjoyed the boat, the places we visited and our fellow passengers. Mario, who looked after us was superb. The only let-down were the food, which was abysmal, and Cruise Croatia's irritating policy of limiting each guest to one glass of wine only each lunchtime, and one coffee in the morning. If you wanted fresh coffee at breakfast you had to pay for it, and fruit salad only made an appearance on three days out of seve, not very good. I also found the UK based booking office unhelpful during booking, their default answer was always "Check the Website". This was poor

First and foremost, Mario, our Sail Croatia rep. He was fantastic and held the whole thing together perfectly. Cabins - fantastic! Comfort - fantastic! Facilities were amazing. Staff - other than Mario, we found to be a little unfriendly but that could be a language thing. Negatives were few - food wasn't good at all, often cold and bland. My advice is do more "home cooking" rather than trying to Ben fancy. Bar prices - way too high for Croatia. Oh - and a jar of Nescafé and a spoon isn't the sort of coffee we expected. Generally though, a trip of a lifetime!

The fact that we had a very informed tour maganger Mario Lelas. He really went out of his way to accomodate us and also to arrange excursions on the different islands. We were able to visit the Blue Cave (which none of the other Sail Croatia boats visited), the buggy excursion on Korcula Island, the bicycle excursion on Mijet Island and the military tour on Vis Island. I will award Sail Croatia a 5/5 and Mario Lelas a 6/5.. We were on the Romantic Star and being our 20th marriage anniversary it made it so much more special. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and do not leave a stone unturned to accomodate the passengers. The cabins as very neat and comfortable. Thank you very much for a memorable holiday, full of making new friends, plenty of laughter and sunshine and swimming in secluded beaches.

We did the Elegance Cruise from Dubrovnik to Split on the Diamond ship, and enjoyed many aspects of it. The cabins (we had an upper deck) were very spacious with big bathrooms and comfortable beds. The daily swim stops were most enjoyable although we felt that the boat could have had some stand up paddle boards and/or canoes so those who were very active, like my husband, could have used them during these stops. The food at lunch was good, but we did feel that it would be better to offer guests a choice each day or serve a buffet, as if you didn't like the menu, there was nothing else on offer. We would also have liked another included dinner like a BBQ, in addition to the very popular Captain's Dinner. We were pleased that water was free on board, but ideally tea/coffee should also be free..We were disappointed there was no information provided about our stop at Milna (Brac) where there was great wine tasting and that we did not go to the Blue Cave. All in all we enjoyed it.

The ship was clean and beautiful. The crew was very friendly and capable. Most of the islands were a joy to visit. (Vela Luca could have been omitted.) Other passengers were pleasant and easy to get along with. Food was excellent (according to my wife), but only pretty good as far as I was concerned. Could have used more variety at breakfast. We were on Esperanza for the Split return trip last month and we enjoyed the cruise very much. The vessel was very clean and the meals provided on board were beyond our expectation. We were lucky to have Ms Nikoleta as our cruise guide who speaks very good English and is very knowledgeable about her country. Her daily instructions was clear and systematic which we found them easy to follow. Nevertheless, there's a 'Star' on the ship which was really worth to mention.......Mr Tomo or we called him James Bond as he looks like Daniel Craig :). He was a pleasant guy who always wore a smile on his face . We were sorry that his colleague was sick and so he was left alone to work on the dining room. However, we never saw no complaint on his face and he always talked to us in a gentle manner. We really appreciate his work and attitude, Thanks James/Tomo for giving us a pleasant time on the ship. We wish you and the rest of the crews/chefs all the best!

The boat is beautiful, the islands fantastic, the crew is the best one could possibly ask for... but the food is terrible!!!!!!!!!!! It is scarce, not good at all. Ah! One more thing, the waiter needs help. He did everything humanly possible but only one waiter for foods and drinks is too much. Sorry but I think I wouldn't recommend you

The beautifull Croatia landscapes!!! Very comfortable boat made the trip very interesting. Navigating every morning for such beautiful scenery and docking at lunch time to visit the places of destination made the itinerary very interesting. Highly recommend!

During the cruise we struggled to work out what demographics the cruise is catering to. The boat was well set up but still was needing the final touches, well appointed cabins and the staff were great but, was it about the destinations, or getting there? We and others I suspect believed it was about the destinations, the islands of the Croatian coast, the food, etc when we booked? It became obvious it was all about the boat and getting there... Breakfast was great but then another sit down formal lunch was just too much after a few days, especially when we arrived at our next destination port but could not tie up until very late in the day for various reasons. So we just sat and looked at the next port from a distance, having a drink, soaking up the sun and swim off the back of the boat, etc. In the end we did get water taxi to port so we could enjoy the destination. And yes, 1 bottle of drinking water per person per day then buy water at inflated prices.. really.

The crew were all excellent, serving breakfast and an evening meal instead of lunch and dinner and having more time at each destination rather than docking at 2pm. Breakfast could be improved by serving fresh juices and fresh fruit salad. But overall it was very enjoyable, the Staff and the hostess were all excellent.

The new yacht, Esperanza, was a breeze! The crew were friendly, capable and really added much to the experience. Our travel companions were delightful, food prepared by the chef delicious and well-planned. GREAT service, especially Tomo and Josep. The draw back: nickle-and dime-ing passengers for coffee, tea unless is was \"allowed time\". Really? When the doors to the breakfast dining room are open and we go in to get out coffee., that\'s a normal thing on cruises and even the worst of hotels! We found out at the very end that unless we had our coffee/tea AT THE SAME TIME as breakfast, then that was a charge. Really? It was a classy experience with crew, cruise director, great food, plans for passengers. But, if you de-Class the experience by greedy charges, then Sail Croatia needs to consider a better approach.

The Diamond was brand new, lovely facilities and amazing holiday, we loved it. The route could have included an extra night at Hvar/Korcular and less nights on the sleepy islands. The swimming stops were just brilliant, highlights of every day. Cabins were good, I suggest you check floor plan and select as they do differ. Tour guide excellent, loads of information to offer, really lovely helpful person, but it would great if she gave out Fact Sheets with basic maps to support her presentation on every port as you just cannot remember everything said. Not sure about the village visit at Korcula, it was a bit basic compared to the rest of the cruise and we missed some great restaurants. Therefore a second night here would have been good. Angelo at bar was amazing all week, always there and he makes the best Margaritas ever! Final booze account should be in writing, better for him and his customers. Really great trip, probably nicest boats in area. Would have liked to see more of Captain.

Nice yacht, good food, wonderful scenery and small, charming towns. A good group of guests. Liked the morning swims. One complaint - our cabin (#19) was right over the engine room and when they were running it was impossible to nap or relax because of the noise. I asked a few other guests whose cabins were further forward if they noticed the engine rumbling, and they said it was just a faint white noise. Noise abatement measures in the engine room ceiling are in order.

The ship was just great. Romantic Star ticked all the boxes for amenities. The ship's captain and his crew were also wonderful. The shortcoming were discussed at length amongst fellow passengers. Expectations were high and in the main met however a few areas diminished things from a five star rating to three stars Marketed as a higher end cruise with a higher end price tag - we were all mystified that we could not get 24/7 coffee or tea, bottled water without additional charge. The food struggled to hit the mark. Too salty, over cooked/tough meat, lack of fresh produce and variety. The best were the deserts - loved the applie pie! A final suggestion is the itinerary. Half a day in Dubrovnik has not sufficient and time at some the other ports such as Mljet could be sacrificed. It should also be noted that passengers felt the ship failed to dock at various ports, causing delays to any visits. The view was Sail Croatia were saving on costs at the expense of passengers

GOOD BUT NOT GREAT Upsides: It was fun. Wonderful international group of fellow travellers. Cleanliness and quality of the ship. Ivana - a superb tour manager. The comfort of our cabin in general and the bed in particular. The Islands and places we visited all exceeded expectations . Downsides: Meals slightly disappointing and no choice . The DIY coffee at breakfast was diabolical. We had superb food on a similar sized ship on a Barrier Reef cruise so it is possible. No disinfectant hand gel even available - it has been compulsory on every other recent cruise I have been on. Most guests were 60+ Strong undercurrents at some swim stops. No boat in the water or even a member of crew on safety watch. This is sold as a luxury cruise but there were few luxury touches. not even a free hot and cold drinks dispenser. Limited daily water supply on request. etc. etc. Good but lacking the little extras to make it great. Dennis H
