Everything was almost perfect, except the noise in the eating room was painful and the noise in the restaurant that we went to as a group was also excruciatingly loud and the food wasn’t very good. I would not recommend the Olimp boat to anybody else until those problems are fixed.

Our tour guide Lola was incredible !!! she was easy to talk to and extremely helpful She helped us arrange water taxis and answered all of our questions. Lola was great !! We were extremely disappointed with the ship's itinerary. Had we knew that the daily swim stop was actually more than 1/2 a day of swimming and that most shore excursions were to start after lunch, Starting shore excursions at 3;00 or 4;00 is just too late . we would not have taken this cruise. We did not come to Europe to swim, we came to see and explore towns and sights. For instance we visited Milena which was a waste of a day, Nothing really to see. I wish we could have spent the time in Split which is a wonderful and interesting city.
- John, 06/10/2026 14:38, Travelled with Friend/s
Great crew. Lola was incredible. Itinerary was a bit too light with the morning swim seeming like wasted time. Should charge a bit more and include more without additional charges (coffee, tea and soft drinks; more towels changed more often; greater food variety).

Our group of 20 sailed on Sail Croatia’s Elegance Cruise aboard Katarina in late September/early October & had a wonderful experience overall. Katarina is a beautiful luxury vessel. The food & drinks were excellent, while the captain, crew & Sail Croatia guide were incredibly welcoming & accommodating. The onboard experience exceeded expectations. Our disappointment was specifically with the late-season stop in Vela Luka. We spent an entire afternoon & evening there, but much of the town had already closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were shut, taxis & boats were unavailable & we couldn’t arrange transportation to nearby beaches. With our travel dates known well in advance, these seasonal limitations should have been considered. Our group of 20 would have gladly welcomed a different stop or extra time in Dubrovnik. Excellent vessel, food, crew & service—just disappointing itinerary planning for the time of year.

Thank you for your wonderful comments about Katarina and our onboard team! We're delighted to hear that the vessel, food and drinks exceeded expectations, and that our Captain, crew and Sail Croatia Representative made your experience so enjoyable. We're sorry that you found Vela Luka quieter than anticipated. Vela Luka is a scheduled destination on our Elegance itinerary, and while the seasonal operation of local businesses and transport providers is outside of our control, there were a number of options available during the stop, including a wine tasting excursion, Vela Spila and arrangements for guests interested in visiting nearby Proizd. The Captain's Dinner was also held onboard that evening. We appreciate your feedback regarding the late-season experience and have shared this with our Operations Team. We're very pleased that you and your group otherwise had such a wonderful experience aboard Katarina, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
Really enjoyed my travel with Sail Croatia. Only real negative is that the filter coffee was not great. Loved our guides.

- fine but the food could have been better with healthier choices

Ivica and Antonio were terrific. The food was outstanding. The boat was great. The biking seemed to be going from A to B with little sightseeing.

Great week meeting new friends and seeing new sites. Excellent facilities and a great crew. Food was wonderful and plenty to eat.

Firstly, the Esperanza is not the most modern in the Sail Croatia fleet - but it it extremely well looked after and is in pristine condiition. The Captain was very friendly and engaging. And all of the 8 crew do an incredible job - they are all very focusing on deliverying outstanding customer service. Our room was very well equiped, comfortable and surprisingly spacious - and the bathroom was a great size. The boat, has plenty of deck space, to sit out in the sun and there are also plenty of shaded areas. The seating areas of the boat and large and comfortable - you never feel there is not enough space. The restaurant was set for 8 people per table. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options. Lunch was a fixed 3 course meal - there was also a small daily salad bar available with lunch. Internet was a. challenge onboard. The only criticism I have is that the tour leader - who was very nice and very helpful - had a focus on cash only tours and cash tips for the crew

Thank you for your detailed feedback and 4 star review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your time aboard Esperanza and particularly appreciated the Captain, crew, spacious cabins and onboard facilities. We would like to clarify that optional excursions are operated by local suppliers in Croatia, with cash being their preferred payment method. Similarly, while crew gratuities are entirely optional, cash is the method used onboard should guests wish to leave a tip. Thank you again for travelling with us and for recognising the fantastic service provided by the Esperanza crew.
The crew were great and the ship was well laid out, very clean and tidy, and well maintained. We missed two destinations we were really looking forward to, the Blue Cave and Mljet island, but no effort was made by Sail Croatia to try and replace these locations with other appropriate destinations. Two destinations we did visit were very poor and of little interest - a walk of an hour allowed you to see all there was, which was not much! There were other blue and emerald caves that we passed on our journey but no effort was made to include these instead. Not a very good outcome and quite disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re delighted to hear you found the crew great and the ship clean, well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. We’re sorry you were disappointed to miss the Blue Cave and Mljet, particularly as these were destinations you were looking forward to. While itinerary changes can occasionally be necessary due to weather, sea conditions and local operating circumstances, we appreciate that alternative stops may not always feel comparable to those originally planned. Unfortunately, other caves along the route are not necessarily suitable or accessible for our vessels or able to be substituted at short notice. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry these changes impacted your overall experience.
The ship was modest but adequate, while the tour guides were exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic. they truly made the the cycling experience enjoyable and memorable . Overall , a wonderful trip.

Our holiday was wonderful. Our host Hana met us on the dock on day one and kept all the guests well informed the entire trip. The food was fantastic and the crew were all very good!!
- Bruce, 28/09/2026 02:18, Travelled with Family
We did seven nights with sail Croatia on a premium ship - which isn’t really premium. The crew and guides were amazing and the cycling really enjoyable. For the price the boat and the food were not of a standard you would rate anywhere near premium. It’s a great experience but if you’re a couple or a little older (over 50) this probably won’t be what you’re expecting.
- Michael, 25/09/2026 12:36, Travelled in a Couple
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you found our crew and guides amazing, enjoyed the cycling and felt it was a great overall experience. We would like to clarify that you travelled on our Premier ship category, which offers a comfortable style of small-ship cruising rather than a luxury product. For guests looking for a higher standard of ship, accommodation and amenities, we offer our Luxury Cycle product. Our Cycle Croatia cruises welcome adults of all ages, including couples and solo travellers, and we regularly welcome guests over 50. Naturally, expectations around accommodation and comfort can vary, which is why we offer different ship categories to suit different preferences and budgets. We appreciate your comments regarding the ship and food and will share these with the relevant team. Thank you again for travelling with us and for your wonderful feedback about the cycling, guides and crew.
Great time, the guides did a great job. They were friendly and knowledgeable. The crew was also excellent. On "complaint" is that the food on the boat could have been better. I would still recommend them.
- Christopher, 23/09/2026 18:58, Travelled with Family
Given that we were there during a terrible heat wave that made all the hikes more difficult but that said, only one or two of the hikes was at all interesting. Most were just up and down very steep rocky trails. Climbing to a summit without a real destination and turning around and going back was and was extremely tedious. Rock shale seems to be the normal path. It was difficult and not pleasant to walk on.. The boat was fine - not great - and the towns were all big tourist stops. I was glad to see the islands but we never escaped the crowds. Crew on the boat was fantastic.
- Anonymous, 22/09/2026 11:34, Travelled in a Couple
Cruise was very nice, here are the positives and then what I would change. Good was food, prices on drinks was fair, Mio on staff, Croatia, cleanliness, captains dinner, communication once on ship, staff responsiveness, I would change the following, better quality water toys (standup paddle boards were cheapest quality imaginable), add “nice touches”( snacks, mints on pillow, thoughtful stuff). Huge lunch unnecessary and getting to islands after 2:30, often even later kinda sucked, change up breakfast offering/spread, outside Mio, Klara and captain, staff wasn’t engaging or customer friendly, everyday long swim stop not ideal or needed/wanted, get us to islands earlier, update website to correct information, (eg pay Bartab with cc or 10% discount for cash, etc, ) and a little disappointed we didn’t get to Vis - due to weather - but a friends boat went same day we should have. Overall very nice but was missing the thoughtful touches to make it a special and outstanding memory.

Enjoyed the holiday. Good was poor cleaning the cabin was very basic i.e. had no hand soap all week.

As a previous customer of Sail Croatia I knew I would enjoy myself and the company of an international gathering. It was enjoyable and the few changes were welcome. E Bikes were better but they should had wider tyres. Guides were very professional. Food was mostly very good. However, I thought that I would upgrade the boat that I had selected but I think this boat was the poorest I have been on in all four previous holidays. Rooms were small, decorations were beginning to feel very dated. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was good. Lounge areas were only adequate but outside spaces were only a little more generous, All Sail Croatia staff were good as were boat’s complement. Excellent Captain. The last day before arriving in Dubrovnik was a poor cycling day and I think that you need to find a more demanding and interesting ride. It really was disappointing In summery, better boat for Premium, more appropriate bikes, final day rethink. Thanks for running the trip.

Thank you for your 4-star review and for choosing to travel with us again. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the international group, found our guides professional, enjoyed the food overall and had such positive comments about the Captain and our team. We would like to clarify your comments regarding the ship category. Your booking was on our Premier ship category, rather than a higher-category ship. Premier is designed to offer a comfortable small-ship experience, but is not our highest category of accommodation. For guests looking for a higher standard of ship, accommodation and amenities, we offer our Luxury Cycle product. We appreciate your feedback regarding the ship, e-bikes and particularly the final day of cycling into Dubrovnik, and will ensure these comments are shared with the relevant teams as we continue to review the experience. Thank you again for returning to Sail Croatia. We’re pleased that overall you enjoyed another holiday with us and appreciate your 4-star rating.
The trip was very good. The staff was great. I enjoyed the tour. Food was solid, but not phenomenal. I enjoyed the island visits but disappointed to miss Vis (understand that was weather related). I wish we had more opportunities to visit towns earlier in day. I'd rate this probably higher overall, about 4.25.

I had a fantastic week with Sail Croatia on board the Almissa. Our tour manager Sanja was simply fantastic, with excellent local knowledge and support. The swim stops in the Adriatic sea were stunning, and I simply had one of the most amazing weeks I could have. Thank you again Sanja, the crew, and Sail Croatia.

Ship was great. Crew was great. Food was great. Cycling was good. Each day should be a minimum of 40 km. 5 and 10 km days were disappointing. Guide should be prepared to quickly repair a flat tire. One day we spent an hour idling while he dealt with that, since he didn’t have the right tools. He should have sent us down the hill to the beach. Overall the briefs need to clearly and briefly state the aims of the ride and how much time in each stop. Electric and regular bikes do not mix. Too much waiting around for the regular riders. A group of 30 or more cyclists is too big to manage. Group size should be 15 max. Overall a great trip.

Overall we had a good holiday. We were on the Emanuel. The boat was clean.. Biking with guides was very good. We were disappointed in some aspects. The rooms were very tight. We understand this is a boat but our bed was against a wall and the storage was minimal. The bed was very hard and linens/towels were just ok. The room would have felt better if they had used better quality items. It felt more like dorm living or summer camp. No swimming towels provided (which we knew ahead) but this takes a lot of room in a suitcase when traveling. The meals were basic and not of a standard that we expected for a vacation. Bar prices seemed a little high. It was stated not to bring food/drink onboard.. However, there was no food or snacks available other than meals. One day we were sailing 7 hours to avoid a storm and no food provided other than lunch. This meant drinking and no snacking. The upper deck was nice with a shaded area and sun deck but the furniture needs updated.

Thank you for your 4-star rating and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that overall you had a good holiday, found Emanuel clean and particularly enjoyed the cycling experience with our guides. As you noted, swimming towels are not included on our Premier ships and this is communicated prior to departure. We would also like to clarify your comment regarding bringing food onboard. Our policy does not permit external hot meals or takeaway food; however, guests are of course welcome to bring their own dry snacks onboard. We also appreciate your comments regarding the cabin furnishings, meals, bar offering and deck furniture, and will ensure these are shared with the relevant team. Thank you again for travelling with us. We’re pleased that overall you enjoyed your holiday and appreciate your 4-star review.
Overall our holiday was excellent. Great locations and a great crew who went above and beyond to make its success. Only three things I would highlight as opportinited for improvement: 1. Tipping: If the company and the crew have to propose a level for tipping this suggests that the crew wages are insufficient and you are relying ib tips to make them up. I would prefer you set the right wages, adjust the price for guests and leave tipping at the guests' discretion and at a much lower level. 2. The crew asked us to fill out the feedback form in their presence when we settled the bar tab. This wont give you candid feedback. Better to do it afterwards remotely like this. 3. The food was good but not as good as I would expect and most importantly the coffee was way too strong and unfiltered. Get a coffee machine.

Thank you for your 4-star rating and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that overall you had an excellent holiday, enjoyed the destinations and felt the crew went above and beyond to make your trip a success. We also appreciate your constructive suggestions regarding tipping, the timing of our onboard feedback forms, and the food and coffee offering. Tipping is entirely optional and at each guest’s discretion, although we appreciate your comments regarding how the suggested guidance is communicated. Your feedback regarding completing forms in the presence of the crew is also particularly useful, as we certainly want guests to feel comfortable providing open and candid feedback. Thank you again for travelling with us and for your 4-star review. We’re pleased that these areas for improvement aside, you had such an enjoyable holiday.
Was a great time on the Queen Jelena -- Vedrun our tour manager was lovely and super informative. Ship was elegant and rooms were a good size, Food was overall very good onboard. A great way to relax and see Croatia without the trouble of moving hotels. Would be good if the ship left the coffee machine on all day. Also, Sail Croatia should include a few drinks per meal as part of the package. But definitely worth it -- an amazing vacation!

Generally we had a very good time but the food & behaviour of some of the crew detracted from the overall effect. From a positive point of view both of the tour leaders, Tasi & Toni, were excellent. They worked hard to produce a great experience, were both welcoming & knowledgeable. Each hike was fun, with lots of sights & information. For the price of the trip the food was not up to standard. Breakfasts were good but both lunches & dinners were poor, mostly constituted by overcooked meat, sauce & tinned vegetables. It could and should have been much better. The crew were generally OK, but one in particular shouted at the passengers a number of times in an unnecessary manner. A briefing at the beginning of the cruise as to what areas on the deck to avoid would have helped here too. The first swim off the back of the boat was fantastic & should have been repeated rather than staying at the dock & having to search out local beaches. Other passengers were also great fun & company

Good but hoped for more time to explore/shop … on the stops. Door stops for bathroom door needed, bathroom re-supply and amenities were poor, toilet was never cleaned in our room. Breakfast window of 8-9 too short when underway by 6-7 each day. A bit more variety in the hot breakfast menu - it was the same fare each day.. More excursions offered with passenger commitment secured before the trip starts - not everyone is into swimming and water sports. Crew and servers were very attentive and friendly. Lunches on board, captain’s dinner and impromptu barbecue dinner on board were excellent. A good sail overall.

Average at best. The food was well below average and we could not dock at a port until the afternoon. If you like sitting on a ship with nothing to do but play on your phone and take a swim off the back, then it’s perfect. Otherwise do something else.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that some aspects of the experience, particularly the food, did not meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify that the schedule you experienced reflects the way our small-ship cruises are designed to operate. Ships generally depart in the morning, with time spent cruising and enjoying swim stops along the route, before arriving at the next destination in the early afternoon. The ship then remains in port overnight, giving guests the afternoon and evening to explore the town, enjoy activities and have dinner ashore at their own pace. We appreciate that this style of cruising may not suit everyone, but for many guests the combination of cruising, swim stops and extended time ashore is an important part of the experience. Thank you again for travelling with us and for sharing your feedback.
We had a great time on the Mlini. The crew was outstanding particularly the food which was much better than expected. Toma was our guide and was a great guide and friend to everyone. They worked hard to make it a great week. They deserve a raise Few areas to improve on: inform passengers if they boat isn’t full. It’s quite disappointing when you arrive to find the boat is half full leaving much to be desired from the social aspect. Also, recommend decreasing the number of excursions and increasing the quality.

It was a great time with a great group of people. The staff on board were great but the main comments from us and other travellers was that the boat was a bit run down, specifically the linen was ripped and marked and the showers were smelly. Hope this helps

Hi, just wanted to say that whilst the holiday destinations were excellent and the boat and crew generally upto the job, the food on board was way below the standard I would expect for a trip of this nature. This was a generally held opinion of the guests onboard to the extent that it spoilt an otherwise agreeable experience. Thanks.

Very good. Mario was a great Skipper. Easy and fun attitude. We were 2 couples, there was plenty of room. The boat was good, although I was surprised there were no solar panels. As a result we were pretty much forced to go to a marina at least every second night. The water and the swim stops in small bays were absolutely beautiful and fun. Sail Croatia was super easy to deal with from start to finish. It would be nice if they had a place to store our bags on embarkation day for a couple of hours. Checkout at most places is 11am , and the boat is only available later. The only option is someone stays with the luggage or pay a private company that charges 6 euros. All in all a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Sail Croatia.
- Donald, 07/09/2026 05:55, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your 4-star review, Donald! We’re so pleased you had a great experience overall, enjoyed the beautiful swim stops, and especially your time with Mario as your Skipper. It’s also wonderful to hear you found the booking experience easy from start to finish. Night Sky does not have solar panels or an onboard generator, with the full spec of each vessel available on our website. For guests wishing to anchor overnight while still having access to electricity and air-conditioning, we recommend booking a larger vessel equipped with an onboard generator. Our office at ACI Split Marina is quite small, so unfortunately we’re unable to store luggage ahead of check-in. As you mentioned, luggage storage facilities are available nearby for a small fee, allowing guests to explore Split before boarding. Thank you again for recommending Sail Croatia, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
It was awesome we had a lot of fun, swim spots were awesome, the towns/cities were great. The crew were really easy to get along with and served quality tasting food. Only bad thing was the condition of the boat, it was clean don’t get me wrong, but the rooms were twice as hot as it was outside, (yes it was advertised there was no A/C) so there was no way to cool down and most people ending up sleeping outside on the deck during the night not using their rooms. And the shower amenities were pretty rough. We paid extra for an upper deck room thinking it would be cooler and less noisy, but it was the complete opposite, rooms downstairs were cooler and less noisy. I think if we had photos of the amenities and knew the condition of the rooms on the exact boat we were on, we wouldn’t have paid as much or gone at all. But don’t let that distract you from what made it worth while, all the people we met on the boat from guest to crew was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Thank you for your 4-star review! We’re so pleased to hear you had an awesome time overall and enjoyed the swim stops, destinations, food, and especially the crew and fellow travellers onboard. We appreciate your feedback regarding the ship facilities. You booked our Standard ship category, which is our most affordable option for budget-conscious travellers and features bunk-bed cabins, shared bathroom facilities and no air-conditioning. Images and specifications for each of our ship categories are available on our website to help highlight the differences between them, allowing guests to make an informed decision before booking with us. We also note in our FAQs under “What is the difference between Above and Lower Deck cabins?” that Lower Deck cabins can often be cooler and quieter than Above Deck cabins. We completely understand that everyone has different comfort preferences, and based on your feedback, we’d recommend considering one of our higher ship categories, such as Ensuite or Premier, for any future trip with us. Thanks again for travelling with us, and it’s great to hear that the people you met and experiences along the way made the trip so worthwhile!
Overall great. Brilliant Tour leader with Dino. Fabulous knowledge and nothing he couldn’t do even answering dumb questions by some 😂 Air conditioning was an issue but overall fabulous experience.

The cleanliness and aircon on the boat was a big let down but my experience was single handedly saved by our guide Simon who made the trip unforgettable.

Thank you for sharing your review! We’re so pleased to hear that Simon was able to make such a lasting impression and help make your trip unforgettable - we’ll be sure to pass your wonderful comments on to him. We’re sorry to hear the cleanliness onboard didn’t meet your expectations. While air-conditioning is not an advertised inclusion on our Standard ships and is instead a feature of our Premier ship category, we appreciate your feedback, particularly as this vessel happened to have air-conditioning available onboard. We’ll certainly take your comments on board and pass them on to the crew and relevant team. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure with us in the future!
Sailing around from split to Dubrovnik was absolute pleasure. From three course lunches every day and new swim spots daily to choose from fabulous way to make the journey. I’m visiting a Newport every night to make fabulous memories

Our 1st trip to Croatia was a rich visit into the regions history and wonderful food. Divers are rewarded the magically clear water and many wrecks (check the depths!). Our yacht was clean, well laid out and comfortable. We’ve chartered numerous yachts and this was my favorite. This charter also included a skipper and hostess. Dora was phenomenal, well organized, engaging and a great cook (quality & variety). The skipper was friendly, professional and impressively skilled boatsman. We expected a charter where we would actually sail - we motored except for a couple hours. We docked on all but 1 night and had no opportunity for the family to momentarily take the helm. My impression is that the captain wanted to go in the straightest line possible (no sailing), dock (no mooring or dinghy needed) and go as fast as possible (no family experience to slow him down, increased fuel use and diesel fumes). Marina fees, bkfst/lunch for 9 and dinner for the 2 crew amounted to 5000 euros.

Thank you for sharing your 4-star review, and we're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your first visit to Croatia, the catamaran and, in particular, the wonderful care provided by your Skipper and Hostess. We're sorry that the amount of sailing did not fully meet your expectations. Sailing is always a priority where conditions and the planned itinerary allow, although this can naturally depend on the weather forecast and distances involved. We also appreciate your feedback regarding opportunities for the family to take the helm. In terms of expenses, these can vary significantly depending on grocery preferences and mooring choices. Based on previous guests travelling on Alley Cat, combined grocery and mooring costs have typically averaged around €1,500–€1,800 for the week, although individual spend can of course be higher or lower. Thank you again for your feedback, and we're so pleased you had an enjoyable and memorable time in Croatia.
Absolutely amazing experience and crew, you’ll have the best week of your life meeting new people Boat was very old and run down but in comparison to the people and the memories you’ll make it’s worth the price would have been nice to include the taxes in the payment though was a little misleading. The other thing I didn’t like was we couldn’t mix with the sister boats only to find out it was because their drinks prices was different also

Excellent holiday and meet some great people from around the world . Cruise manager was excellent with great communication regarding when and what was happening. The girl that cleaned my cabin was outstanding as well, and pleasant to talk with and always smiling. The remainder of the crew were less so . They failed to acknowledge you most times and were not interactive at all. We would have spent more money on bar if the staff had been better trained in the hospitality industry. .

- Joe, 25/08/2026 09:03, Travelled in a Couple
Excellent time! Vedran is great tour leader! This boat is Family owned and immaculate! All staff are family and they care deeply about the boat and assuring guests have a great time. The only reason I gave this a 4-star rating is that the air conditioning in the cabins just could not keep up with the boiling outside temperature. Most everyone had issues with the air conditioning. Also, in my opinion, the lighting in the bathrooms is not sufficient. PRO Tip 1: Evidently the cabins below deck stay cooler than those above deck PRO Tip 2: Bring clothing that is quick drying and can be washed in the sink or shower. There are ship bars outside the cabins on the upper deck where you can hang them to dry. Clothes pins are provided. PRO Tip 3: Do not bring anything fancy, cool light weight fabrics are best. PRO Tip 4: A portable travel fan will come in handy. PRO Tip 5: Buy Euro at first island stop for less than getting it at home if not your currency.

It was a very nice trip overall with very kind crew and well organised, the cabins were nice and clean and the AC worked top. I loved the buoys and the swimstops where we could jump! Special shout out to Toni who organised the trip perfectly. Some things were slightly expensive, especially the BBQ extra charge of 30 euros was unecessary given the amount already paid, and I wish some activities could have been included as part of the original fare. Fellow travellers were very nice and agreeable, but it would be could to market the trip to other nationalities to make sure it is not only Aussies only!

A great time for anyone who loves a party. Meeting lots of new people is fun and everyone on board is very friendly, it’s an extroverts dream and helps bring out introverts. The boat is somewhat comfortable, a little dated but nothing terrible, the bedding is a bit bare bones - take a proper pillow or blanket. Food is okay - nothing amazing, a few good meals during the week. Staff are very great, our guide Lauren was awesome and so were the crew. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a solid party and exploring - bring your wallet, your room is secured with payment but virtually everything on board is charged, except for on board meals. Even transfers from the boat and to events is charged to you, so bring at least a few hundred euros to cover these.

Great holiday and enjoyed every minute of it. The captain was very well organised and great with my children.

My experience on Tuna boat was mainly attributable to Toni, our rep. Toni was highly informative about the history and activities of each destination. His organisation of group dinners really helped for us to bond and make friends. Not only was he a rep, but he was also a great friend to all of us. I give all my praise to Toni!

Our week sailing on Spellbound with Ana and Daniel was a wonderful family holiday. They made us feel welcome and at home and showed us some beautiful islands, coves and ports. Daniel did a great job accommodating everyone’s tastes with great breakfasts and lunches and took us to some lovely restaurants for dinner. Our only disappointment was that the only day that it was suitable for sailing, the rigging was faulty and the main sail couldn’t be raised.
- Marion, 29/07/2026 09:04, Travelled with Family
Dino was a very good tour leader, esp. nominating specific restaurants to eat evening meals at on each island we frequented. The crew were attentive, the cabin cleaning staff were top notch. Swim stops were great. Food was good but there seemed to be an extensive use of puréed vegetables! Music played non stop inside the boat even if no one was there? Still, a good experience.

Really cool time away. Our staff were awesome. Great weather and smooth sailing

We had a really good time on board the Salve di Mare, Split to Dubrovnik. The food was very tasty, every staff member was friendly and professional, and the ship was spotless and well appointed. The swim stops were mostly incredible (the last one near Dubrovnik was less special and secluded than the others). We didn't get to do the Blue Cave tour as scheduled; still not sure why not. My only real criticism is that the ship didn't have karaoke!! 😜

Perfect relaxing holidays. Thanks to Mario, our skipper, who made this cruise unforgettable.

Yeah it was a great trip. Excursions were fun and there was a great vibe on the boat. I will make some complaints. The boat itself did not have any sails whatsoever. It was a bit old and rundown and smelled quite bad on the lower deck. Most mornings you don't sleep in from the noise of the motor. I feel like the drinks were a bit steep and especially the bell rings being 128 euros was ridiculous. Felt like exploiting customers for more profit. There is no way serving 30 odd people some shots is worth over 100 euros. Also the bartender used his hands to put ice in the buckets. Not anyones fault but something to be aware of was the whole boat ended up getting sick by the end of it and you would hear loud coughing at night. Having to pay in cash was a let down. Someone had a bar tab of over 1000euro and had to pay $44 in atm fees and call his bank. I would have appreciated being able to top up my tab in advance via card. The port fees being included was obviously just to make sure you

Positives- The food and dining service were excellent throughout the trip. The information shared about the islands, local attractions, and recommended activities was very helpful and enhanced our experience. Hanna was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always willing to help with restaurant reservations and excursion bookings. Her assistance was greatly appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our cruise experience and had a wonderful time. Areas for Improvement- We noticed that some staff members were smoking in or near common guest areas. Relocating smoking to designated staff-only areas would help create a more comfortable environment for guests, especially those who are sensitive to cigarette smoke. One bartender, Cesar, came across as less welcoming than the rest of the crew during our interactions. A more friendly and approachable demeanor would further enhance the overall guest experience.

6 of us sailed on the Almissa the first week of July. Right from the start we were greeted with friendly staff members who met all of our needs and answered all of our questions. Hana was our guide/host for the week and she was amazing. She always checked in on passengers daily asking them what they had done the day before and what the plans were. She gave us a play by play of what to expect each day and answered questions and gave suggestions in a timely manner. She was outstanding. The boat was extremely clean and was big enough for all thirty plus passengers to find space if needed. The staff was friendly and assisted whenever needed. The food was also the best food I have had on the trip - even better than the restaurants. The pace of the trip was great. The only reason I did not give five stars, is that I wish drinks were included in the price or that a drink package could be bought. I would definitely suggest bringing snacks on board as they were not provided throughout.

Had so much fun with a great bunch of people. Captain + crew were awesome. The facilities on the premium navigator cruise are actually really decent and surprisingly spacious. Worth the extra money, especially for AC. Side note; you will end up paying as much as the initial cost so be aware. However many of the daily activities are worth. Shout out Lauren for being an awesome rep.

Very well organised from start to finish. Daily briefings, amazing rides (v easy on electric bike) and plenty of tasty food ! Cabins were quite basic but were en suite and had air-con. Plenty of time to sunbathe on deck or visit the islands. Some extra excursions and meals organised for those who wanted to but no pressure to go. All the staff were great esp our group leader Calum (& Srdan) - who had a great knowledge of the Croatian history as well as sorting any issues out throughout the week such as food preferences and general recommendations. Average age was around 60 on the boat (the Mali Luka) with a lovely bunch mainly from USA and Australia and NZ. Busy week as up early but a great way to explore the lovely islands. Water so clean and refreshing. All the towns well kept. Pebble beaches (not sand). We did Split to Dubrovnik route then had a couple of nights in hotel in Lapad (Dub) to relax. Thanks Sail Croatia for a memorable trip !

Varying (hour by hour) ship schedule made it difficult to fully plan/enjoy. Schedule was blamed on docking constraints which were not immediately apparent unless line was saving on fees. Lack of opportunities to swim off ship was also disappointing. Coffee/tea should’ve been available free during all waking hours. More pillows desperately needed. Staff was appropriate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you found our crew to be appropriate, and we appreciate your comments on the overall experience. As our vessels operate within busy working harbours, daily schedules can vary depending on port availability, harbour authority requirements, and operational considerations. While this can occasionally impact time in port or swimming opportunities, these decisions are made to ensure the smooth and safe operation of each cruise. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding the availability of complimentary tea and coffee, additional pillows, and swimming stops. Guest feedback such as yours is valuable, and we'll be sure to share your comments with the relevant teams as we continue to review and enhance our onboard experience. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on board again in the future.
Fantastic. Boat food was middle to good but not outstanding. Trip was overall fantastic.

Overall I have a great time both on and off the boat. The crew was friendly and professional. The experience was memorable. If the age grouping could be fine tuned a little I would def consider another trip with sail Croatia. I was a little out of place with a group who were older than I was. My age or slightly younger would have been preferable.

My wife and I had a great time on the sailing and biking adventure! The guides, scenery, and bikes were amazing! The routes were challenging at times and very beautiful. We had plenty of free time and made lots of new friends from around the world. We added extra days in Split (before) and Dubrovnik (after) which were both very enjoyable. Really loved this trip!

This was are second Sail Croatia cruise. The first was fantastic. Out second was on the Contessa, and it is a new boat. As with some new things, such as homes, boats, there is a pick up list of things that need improvement. In our case there were three issues. The AC was not working well and basically managed the room to 30 degrees Celsius, the boats internet was very limited, only working in the dining area, and that was food quality and taste was average. One of the driving forces besides the beauty of Croatia of our return was exceptional food quality, preparation and value in our first cruise. The chefs were amazing, tantalizing us with great appetizers, main courses and deserts. Although an effort was made it was not near the level of our first cruise. I imagine Sail Croatia will rectify these start up issues but want to present the facts as they were for us to future customers.
- Brad, 26/06/2026 10:00, Travelled with Family
Holiday was great. All staff on the boat were great to deal with. Boat was clean and safe as well as the food was excellent. Only drawback was that there were some people not on ebikes which held up the whole tour several times. Would have liked to ebike longer distances but were not able to because of this issue.
- Anonymous, 24/06/2026 13:53, Travelled with Family
The trip was well organized however the app made it difficult to determine the planned daily distances, leaving me to retrieve information from previously emailed tour notes. Be great to have it all in one place.

We had a great time on our sail and cycle cruise thanks to Marin and Josip and our crew. Marin was our guide and Josip was our cycling guide and they were a great team-professional and very qualified yet warm and engaging. The support we received from these guys both on and off the bike was really amazing. I feel as though we got really lucky to have them assigned to our group. I took a star away because our boat-the Dionis-was very worn out. There were only 8 plastic loungers strewn about on the top deck and two were broken and there were 27 of us on board. We kept seeing other Sail Croatia boats with a full deck of chairs with cushions and I still can’t understand the disparity. Also, my husband and I ended up with a below deck cabin. It was dark, smelly, and very damp. Even the sheets at night were damp. I feel as though the trip could have been a perfect five stars if Sail Croatia had given more attention to the accommodations on the boat.

The ship Emanuel is a well renovated 1955 small passenger ship with maximizing passenger carrying at expense of cabin space. The ship is rated standard when the brochure said Premier grade for the hiking cruise. Food was unimaginative but acceptable and drinks overpriced. Tea and coffee should be freely available during the day. The cabin was clean with a hard and lumpy bed, noise from outside was a problem at times as we were on the corridor connecting other ships alongside and music was often loud but finished at 11pm. Crew and guides were friendly and helpful but more info on the history and other information about the places visited would be good. The cruise itself visited some wonderful places and i wouldn't have missed it but things could have been done better.
- Graham, 15/06/2026 16:24, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Graham, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the itinerary and the wonderful destinations visited, as well as the service provided by our crew and guides. Emanuel is classified within our Premier Ship category, offering amenities such as private ensuite bathrooms and air-conditioned cabins. As a traditionally built vessel, cabin sizes and layouts differ from ship to ship. For guests seeking a higher level of onboard comfort and space, we also offer our Premier Plus ship category vessels. Regarding the noise, the ports we visit operate under their own local regulations and curfews, and activity from neighbouring vessels can occasionally be beyond our control. We appreciate your comments regarding the food, onboard amenities, and guided commentary, and will take these into consideration as we continue to improve our guest experience.
The actual holiday was wonderful however the downside was overprice wine and beer with small portions and not very good wine Having to pay bar bill in cash was inconvenient and bad

Cabin:: + adequate space. -- cigarette smoke frequently entered our cabin (15) via the a/c system. As nonsmokers w tobacco allergies, It was very problematic as it started early in the morning and last into the late evening affecting our sleep. Ship: + nice facilities and layout. — the not hot, hot tub was not filled until 1/2 way thru the cruise. And then not really utilized. Recommend repurposing that space for 6 more lounges so most passengers can have a lounge. Food: + passionate chef and assistant. Hot food available w breakfast and lunches. Really good quality. Service was great (Mario). Bar: + staff friendly and helpful. — unfortunately wines by the glass were restricted to one brand and were of poor quality and overpriced. You pay € for all beverages, tea, coffee, sodas, juices and again more than what u pay in ports. Coffee, tea, and juices only provided at breakfast. For lunch, only water served. Easy to have added inexpensive iced tea. Active:: + pleasant staff - disorganiz

Brilliant , Lauren was fantastic. The crew were awesome! We had a good blend of people on the boat, from all over the world. Food was good and the places where we went were absolutely beautiful. The only complaint I have was the bed and sheets were a little short for me I am 6’2” I didn’t like the fact we had to “pay in cash” for the bar tab and local taxes at the end of the trip.

Great 7 days on board Columbo visiting and cycling a beautiful selection of islands including Hvar, Vis, Korčula, Mljet and Sipan. Always felt we were in safe hands with our calm leader Ivaniča and ever smiling guide Olja.

Sail Croatia, who I have used before were excellent in all areas, keeping us informed, before joining, welcoming us on arrival and making sure we had had a great time, when we returned. Unfortunately, it turns out that the boat that we had chartered, Rookie, was actually owned by another company, Ultra Sailing, and that Sail Croatia, this time, were just the booking agents. Unlike Sail Croatia, the greeting that we received from Ultra, was very cold and we felt immediately unwelcome by the woman, who checked us in, who shouldn’t be in a role, in front of customers. We had the same experience, with the same woman, on our return. Despite this, we had a fantastic week, on the water, in this beautiful part of the world. Shame, we would use Sail Croatia, again, but will never return to ACI Marina in Split, again

We were disappointed in several aspects of this cruise. I will send an email to Sail Croatia outlining my concerns.

Great! loved the cycling and the tour guides. Our days out on the bikes were absolutely great. Both Marin and Martin did everything they could to make the trip enjoyable. My concerns were with things that were in the Captains control: 1. Why was air conditioning not on every night? not on for both first and last night which is poor. 2. bedding was sub par at best, poor quality and could have used an extra pillow. 3. Food was not great. I feel an al a carte menu would have been better as this was eat what you get which really was not appealing to me for a trip with this price. Our daughter was with us, she eats vegetarian and her food was absolutely terrible. Boris, the chef, needs to do better! 4. on board bar was poorly stocked. We would have used this service if items were available but it was basically just one wine and draft beer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you loved the cycling experience and that Marin and Martin helped make your trip so enjoyable. We will be sure to pass on your kind comments to them, as our guides work incredibly hard to create memorable experiences for our guests. We're sorry to hear that certain aspects of the onboard experience did not fully meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the air conditioning, cabin comfort, food offerings, vegetarian meals, and onboard bar selection. As the vessel relies on shore power while docked for the air conditioning system to operate, occasional interruptions can occur if the shore power connection is temporarily disconnected. We understand that these elements play an important role in the overall guest experience, and we will ensure your feedback is shared with the vessel operator for review and consideration. In particular, we're sorry to hear that the meals, including the vegetarian options provided for your daughter, did not meet your expectations. We recognise the importance of catering to a variety of dietary preferences and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and recommendation. We truly value guest insights as they help us continue to improve our experiences.
I enjoyed the other people on the tour and the guides (Marin and Martin). I did feel that the boat used was not a proper one for this kind of cruise. Once the bikes were loaded there was little room left. I noted other boats when at dock that were roomier on the stern on the middle. Also, the breakfast buffet was poorly organized. Again, there was a lack of space forcing people into a small table area where only one person could get in and had to come back out into the same line. There should be access in the round and not at one of the eating tables. When parked alongside other boats there was no airflow. This became an issue when the air conditioning was not working. The crew was not very friendly, were smoking near the eating area and on their phones. There were no smokers on the tour so it was somewhat disgusting to have to inhale the crews cigarette smoke. They should go off the boat or to the upper deck if they want to smoke. The food was not of good quality. Needs improvement.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed travelling with your fellow guests and that Marin and Martin helped make your experience a positive one. We will be sure to pass on your kind comments to them. We are sorry to learn that several aspects of the onboard experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the vessel layout, dining area configuration, air conditioning, food quality, and crew service. Guest comfort is extremely important to us, and we understand how these issues could have impacted your enjoyment of the cruise. Regarding your comments about the vessel size and onboard space, I can see that you travelled on one of our Premier ships. While these ships offer a comfortable cruising experience, we also offer a Premier Plus category for guests seeking additional space, larger cabins, and enhanced onboard amenities. Many of the larger vessels you may have seen during your cruise would likely have fallen within this category. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and recommendation. We truly value guest insights as they help us continue to improve our experiences.
Great holiday, the staff were excellent and the ship was fantastic. There is room for improvement. More ventilation in the lower cabins, aircon wasn’t effective. The coffee was very bad and there could be more fruit at breakfast and some soap included would be helpful. Also if beach towels are not provided it would be good to know that before we left Australia. Apart from that it was a great part of our trip

Nice biking holiday , great guide , good e bike
- Andre, 27/05/2026 07:17, Travelled in a Couple
It was good, but they have things to improve, like the air conditioning not working, the cancellation of multiple activities due to the weather, the captain's absence due to "illness" (though he seemed perfectly fine the other days), and having a bartender drunk almost 50% of the time. But the accommodations were very good, the food was very good, and the main day was excellent.

Era la primera vez que íbamos de crucero en un barco de estas características. . La experiencia fue genial. A pesar de ser Lis únicos españoles, todo el mundo, tanto trabajadores como pasajeros hicieron todo lo posible para que estuviéramos agusto.

The sailing holiday was very good, the boat , OLIMP, was great and the size of the cabin brilliant. Service was very good by the staff and Dino was quite good as the co-ordinator. The only issue was with the payment of the bar. tab at the end of the trip and what cards that were accepted. A few things should be made clearer at the start of the trip so as not to have them becoming an issue on the last night. I will be recommending this trip to fiends for sure.

I had a fantastic time on my Sail Croatia cruise—the route, crew, and food were all great. That said, I was surprised by the 40€ tourist tax per person, which wasn’t clearly explained upfront and for which I received no receipt. I also wasn’t comfortable with how our passports were left in an unlocked plastic box in the dining salon at night, with no visible security. Tipping felt a bit awkward too, especially when envelopes were later collected over WhatsApp after limited communication. Overall, I’d still recommend Sail Croatia, but these small improvements would make the experience even better.
- Anonymous, 25/05/2026 05:42, Travelled in a Couple
Thank you for your feedback and for joining us - we’re really glad to hear you had a fantastic time onboard and enjoyed the route, crew, and food. The €40 local payment per person is payable onboard all Sail Croatia cruises. This fee covers port charges and tourist taxes throughout the week. We do communicate this in advance via our FAQs, your Online Account, all payment receipts that are emailed to you, and pre-departure information, but we appreciate your feedback. Thank you also for your comments regarding tipping and passport storage - we value this insight and will pass it on to our operations team for review.
Calum was approachable, welcoming, entertaining, flexible and very patient with his tour group. Many thanks Mate, look forward to the tattoo! 👌🏻

Boat crew were efficient. The two guides were knowledgable and helpful. Overall, the ride was fantastic with very good bikes and very amazing scenery.. HOWEVER, we did book and pay for a cabin with double bed. But instead got a single bed on one side and a bunk bed on the other side of the cabin which was dissapointing.
- Raymond Cooper, 19/05/2026 12:27, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Raymond, thank you for taking the time to review your Cycle cruise with us this season, and for sharing your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed the cycling experience, scenery, bikes and found both our crew and guides knowledgable and helpful. It is a shame to read of your disappointment regarding the cabin bedding arrangement. We would like to clarify that bedding configurations are not guaranteed unless specifically requested and confirmed prior to departure. Upon reviewing the booking, we can see that a request for a double bed was not submitted by your travel agent at the time of booking, and therefore this was not something our team had been made aware of in advance. We always aim to accommodate guest preferences wherever possible and appreciate your feedback. Thank you again, it was a pleasure to have you join us!
Great crew, great fellow tourers! The itinerary was excellent. The bikes were garbage. You should not offer a tour where cycling is a feature and then provide bikes that were selected on cost only. Our tour leader spent far too much time trying to keep the bikes operational.

Although the entire experience was outstanding I do have a couple of points: 1.) As an experienced cyclist, I had no issues but I did see some areas of saftey that could be improved. There was confusion throughout the day as directions were, at times, incomplete and vague. 2.) Food was another issue as items at breakfast would run out and the main course lunches were mediocre. 3.) Coffee is always an issue for me and yours was the worst. (Sorry) 4.) I didn't understand why we couldn't pay our bar tab with a credit card. Many were short on cash and had to rush to an ATM. 5.) Whatsapp feature was great, would of been nice to get the days briefing in advance of actual briefing at 8:30 so we could follow along and have questions prepared. All in all our tour guides were friendly and well informed about the areas we visited and I would recommend this tour to friends The boat was immaculate and comfortable. Great way to see Croatia for the first time.

We had a good cruise that was made fantastic by the crew.
- Peter , 11/05/2026 13:14, Travelled in a Couple
Better quality ship. Emmanuel was old but clean and very middle of the road for overall amenities, a boat not a yacht; lunches were very good, breakfasts mediocre Cycling guides and routes were very good but too short ( advertise this as a leisurely cycling if e bikes being used) and the regular bycyles should not be allowed as we were constantly waiting for them to catch up. Also entrance fees to parks and historical sites should be included in the overall package. Similar to Viking make tipping a part of the trip package.

Katerina is owned and crewed by the family. This is a 5 star rating. Ship is spotless and crew are the best. Owner and crew (mostly family and cousins) are so attentive to every detail. Meals: adequate and enjoyable but not outstanding. Captains' dinner was very good. Activities: not memorable. Walking tour in Dubrovnik was boring. Ship provided dinner was not impressive. Should have stayed in port and gone to local restaurant Ioana our tour director was 5 stars' She had to deal with a lot of shifting itinerary and was a truly shing star for the passengers. Overall was a nice experience. Met a lot of good people and that was a big plus; Croatia is very expensive on the street Plan to spend some BIG $$ in local establishments. Overall, a check on our bucket list. Nice but would not do again

Our bike tour leaders Marin and Ilona were fantastic. Highly skilled, organized, caring and kept our group very safe. I thoroughly appreciated, as well enjoyed spending time with them. Sail Croatia should highly regard both these staff. A big 6 out of 5 for these two. They went way above beyond what was well beyond the minimum they needed to do.

We had a wonderful week sailing with Sail Croatia and would happily recommend them to others. The entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Our boat was ready on time and in great condition, and the team provided helpful assistance both before we set off and when we were leaving the dock. Their communication was excellent. Before the trip, any message I sent was answered promptly with all the details we needed. This continued during our journey. When we saw a "bura" wind in the forecast, we messaged them for advice. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and gave us clear steps to take. They also went out of their way to help with a small request, providing an extra coffee machine for the boat when we asked, which was much appreciated. A particular highlight was Karolina, who personally stopped by to check in on us and make sure everything was going well. It was a nice, personal touch that showed they care about their guests. Highly recommend Sail Croatia!

We sailed on the Queen Jelena (Split North itinerary). Beautiful boat, really good crew. The food onboard was just OK, often just warm rather than hot. A 3 course lunch is not what most people have day to day at home and the thoughts from fellow passengers were thst this was a bit rigid and maybe a buffet style lighter lunch would be better as it felt you had breakfast and a couple of hours later a large lunch making you lethargic. Trips were ok, village dinner was good, buggy trip was good but not best value. More time needed in Dubrovnik as it beautiful, I would skip the walking tour (pointless) and enjoy more time exploring yourself. All stops on this itinerary were beautiful. One last point; the daily briefing should be carried out using the TV in the saloon as shown on the website content so you can actually get a visual idea of your day ahead. The WhatsApp group is useful when it's set up. Overall a good experience, 7.5/ 10

Great staff and itinerary. A little more cleaning - railings and doors should be everyday. Sanitizer in dining room and public spaces. Half our group got sick which was NOT fun. Probably not their fault. All else was excellent. Their bikes were well Maintained and it was beautiful.

Swim stops. Port visits. Particularly Korcula and Omiš. Barman ‘Milan’ was a genuine, nice guy. I still believe our room ‘0’ was bigger than others. I asked and was told the rooms were the same size, however when I peeked into a twin room ours was definitely larger! Not so great - Breakfast was monotonous, same every day. Really need a FOC push button coffee machine for use throughout day. The American drip coffee was rubbish and yes paid for the nespresso style coffee from the bar but e3.50 for something not that good. Our window leading outside next to the door required a curtain as well as the twisted Venetian blind there. I had to put up a makeshift curtain to block out the exterior downlights rays coming in. We spoke to a couple who were on a Sail Croatia boat with the same timings as ours and they raved about the food, as prepared by ‘two mamas’ who obviously cooked from the heart. Unlike our chefs!!
- Gary, 02/10/2025 14:44, Travelled in a Couple
Martina and Mio were great. The Guide from Sail Croatia was a little tightly wound and confrontational. The food was just okay, and that’s probably generous. The worst part was all the noise on the boat. Spend ten bucks and put felt sliders on the chairs in the saloon. Seriously. The chair sliding noise killed all the cabins right below it. The drink prices were stupid for what you get. The food was very forgettable. But the boat and the crew were good!

My product ? Your product. Guides were great, boat crew was great ! Communication was fantastic ! All logistics great! Breakfast needs some help. Lunches not great. Need to rename the game- no sailing whatsoever. Bike Croatia is more appropriate.

First of all the added costs. Quite a few of the added activities were charged. The prices when converted to Australian dollars were quite expensive. Recommended tipping at the end was very high and this was noted by other passengers as well. We were looking at around AU$700 for the service. Considering how much we paid for the cruise wevconsidered it unreasonable to expect extra charges like this on top. Meals. Breakfasts were very nice. However, some of the lunches were variable in quality. Generally, the entree and deserts were fine but some of the main courses were not to liking. Captains dinner was disappointing. The Entertainment was noisy: not allowing any kind of conversation between the passengers. As an older couple, we found the loud music and tactic singing and dancing to be a bit disconcerting. Nikos and Ivanka were both friendly and always helpful. 5 stars to both of them. Also, the cabin was comfortable and clean and about was beautifully presented.
- Rupert , 30/09/2025 17:09, Travelled in a Couple
Hello Rupert, thank you for taking the time to review your cruise with us this season. We are pleased to hear that you found your cabin comfortable and clean, enjoyed the beautiful presentation of the ship, and that both Nikos and Ivanka made such a positive impression during your cruise. We will be sure to pass on your kind words to them. Guest feedback is very important to us, so we do appreciate you sharing your experience with us. You can find a helpful blog on Tipping on the website and further information is also included in the Pre-Departure Information sent to you prior to departure. We do also note on the Elegance page and Excursions page which activities are included, free or charge or at an additional cost. If ever in doubt, we encourage guests to always reach out to their on board Sail Croatia Representative. Thank you for joining us this season and exploring beautiful Croatia.
It really was a great trip, Marin and Mario were exceptional. They covered all the bases for having a safe and worry, free experience, very professional. Personally, I could’ve used a little bit longer routes to cycle and myself and a few others felt the last cycle stop was a little risky getting on and off the boat. I’m off to extend my journey and vacation, but I think that this part of it’s gonna be the best of everything overall Thanks, John.
- John, 29/09/2025 11:53, Travelled Solo
Captain, tour guides and front line staff were great. Room was not great with a bed that you could feel the metal springs, lumpy pillows, lights that didn’t work, safe that wasn’t opened, Generator noise was intrusive into the room during the night. In port the boats were often racked together so that you had to pass through multiple boats to get onto shore. This also trapped diesel exhaust fumes on still nights, making staying outside at the back of the boat uncomfortable.
- Anonymous, 29/09/2025 08:36, Travelled in a Couple
Thank you for your review and for your kind words about our captain, crew, and staff – we’re pleased you felt well looked after during your cruise. We regret to hear about the issues you experienced with your cabin. If we had known at the time, we would have done our best to resolve them and make your stay more comfortable. Regarding port mooring, it is standard practice for small ship cruising that boats are tied alongside one another in port. While this can occasionally limit open-air space, please rest assured that our boats remain idle with engines switched off to keep noise and fumes to a minimum. Your comments are very valuable to us, and we will certainly take them into account as we continue to improve.
The guides were very good, knowledgeable about all the Locations that we visited. helpful and friendly all the time .The food was below average and we were hoping for a lot better. Although the rooms were small they were ok but they were damp and clothes and bed sheets damp even with ac on. I would still recommend, but on a different boat with a different chef
- Brian , 28/09/2025 15:30, Travelled in a Couple
My husband and I loved the itinerary, and all the friends we made on board. 7 days of stunning swim stops, time to read a book or play a game of dice. Dino was a great help advising and setting up activities at each stop. The food was great! The boat is a bit dated, but I feel it was a fantastic value for the price.

Great ship and crew.

Good itinery... Good equipment.. Knowlegable, competent, friendly Guides Great boat (Accomdation, Crew and meals) Altogether a great 7 days. Thank you
- clive, 22/09/2025 14:27, Travelled with Family
Croatia is scenic and the cycling was good. The crew of the Princeza Diana was terrific- they worked very hard and were friendly and happy to interact with guests. The food was absolutely top notch- I'd recommend this trip for the food alone. Our guides were only average based on multiple previous cycling trips in Europe. They were pleasant enough but seemed disconnected from their jobs. Perhaps it was late in the season and they had mentally moved on.

Great destinations. Great crew. Good breakfasts, lunches not so great. The wine tasting tour was a waste of time and money,. Dino was a terrific tour leader 5 stars. The captains dinner was good but like I said the lunches need improving.. thoroughly enjoyed the swimming stops and also all the port stops. Croatia is a beautiful country. Would recommend this cruise if the lunches improved .
- Jurgen, 22/09/2025 07:34, Travelled in a Couple
Excellent guides and beautiful destinations. Hiking trails fitted the group and if not alternatives were on offer.
- Bjarni , 22/09/2025 05:50, Travelled with Friend/s
The guides Ivan and Lucija were very knowledgeable and organized. We alway knew the plan and they provided great local info and recommendations. The food was well prepared and tastey. The coffee was good but cold. Maybe replace the coffee maker with a better style that keeps the urn warmer. The only downside was our ship was charged after all our travel plans were made. The upper bunk mattress was small and uncomfortable.
- George , 20/09/2025 16:35, Travelled with Friend/s
Well managed trip with hard working and knowledgeable staff and guides. The rooms were small and uncomfortable. Older boat needs an update. Food was adequate, but not outstanding. Riding in groups was challenging as some inexperienced riders.
- Mark, 19/09/2025 03:04, Travelled in a Couple
Overall the week aboard Morpheus was great. We had great service from the hostess Niki and Captain Christian had great suggestions for destinations and restaurants. The SUPs were not very good quality so check those and be sure to ask for more towels.

- Kevin, 16/09/2025 17:22, Travelled in a Couple
Lola was excellent as our tail end guide with good history comments along the way. For constructive criticism I would recommend that the up front lead guide (Srdan) go a bit slower so that we did not spread out into seperate pelotons with the later groups missing turns that Srdan made without stopping to allow the later groups to catch up.

You offer transfers from airport to boat, but not hotel to boat, I cannot see the difference in going to airport or a hotel? We had 2 hot showers at of 7 days - this is unacceptable. Coffee and tea should be available at all times. Other food options should be available at all times Wifi was poor, consider using starlink We had 1 towel to use for the week??
- Ray, 16/09/2025 04:04, Travelled in a Couple
Thank you for your review and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that certain aspects of your trip didn’t meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond to your concerns. Regarding transfers, we do offer complimentary Elegance transfers to and from the local airport only, as per our contracted service. We understand the convenience of a hotel-to-port transfer, but this is not included in the Elegance package as advertised - this information can be found under FAQ's. We’re sorry to hear you experienced difficulties with the hot water. According to our internal report, the crew did investigate your concerns and found the issue to be related to the operation of the shower control. The knob needed to be turned fully to the left and given some time to activate the hot water. The Captain also explained that the water is heated while the engine is running, and this was communicated to you. After these clarifications, it was confirmed that hot water was available throughout. With regard to towels, each guest is provided with one beach towel for the week, however plenty of showering towels are provided and if you found yourself needing more towels for showering, you simply needed to speak to the crew and your Onboard Representative for additional towels or other needs — they are always happy to assist. Concerning Wi-Fi, we do provide complimentary access on board; however, as outlined in our materials, connection quality can vary due to signal coverage along the coast and limitations inherent to sailing. Thank you for your further thoughts on food and beverages onboard which have been passed on to operations team together with your entire constructive feedback which is very welcome. Thank you again for traveling with us and we do hope to see you again!
First of all, let me say that the people involved (crew, etc.) were excellent. I have no problem with any of them. Our cruise director was especially friendly and personable. Plus, I found Croatia to be a most beautiful country. That said, it was not one of my favorite trips. I found most places we stopped to be glorified "tourist traps." Most things were far too expensive, and we were constantly confronted with cost after cost for anything we might want to do. I think that should I ever return to Croatia, I'd probably pick one or two places and spend more time exploring more than just tourist trap stuff. I guess that could be said, however, for many such cruises, etc. Have traveled to several countries, however, this will not be considered one of my favorites.

On our recently completed trip from Dabrovnic to Split for 7 days, Although the "Tempera" ship requires some strong maintenance repairs and surface repairs, the experience beyond that was incredible for a first time cruise guest on that size and style of a ship. Our Cruise Manager Sasha was the most friendly, knowledgeable management team member that leads the way in customer relations and makes all guests feel like a family member. The Captain and crew provide a constant team effort of providing services of any nature while at sea or when at dock daily. We were fortunate to have a dining room / bar drink service leader in "Max", his efforts exemplify professionalism customer service. The most valuable aspect of this specific cruise trip was the personal relationships built in a very short order of time (from day 1) of the other guests. This size of a ship and the areas of common use created an experience like no other, for the friendships that were created, we thank you.

The boat was very old and really it did fall short of expectations. Light didn't work. No key for safe. Old and slippery tiles in shower. Old shower. It needs to be better. Communication between guides and passengers was minimal. Half the time we were never really sure of what was going on. Rides were spread out. You probably need 2 groups. One to do a longer ride, and one to do a shorter ride. We also needed to stop at a private bay here and there for a swim. We rode past so many secluded rocky beaches with crystal clear water, but never stopped

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of our services! We're sorry to hear that some aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. We take all feedback seriously, and upon reviewing our internal reports, we found no records of issues concerning the lighting, safe, or shower facilities in your cabin. We have a rigorous process in place for reporting and resolving any onboard concerns, which is outlined in your pre-departure information. Following this process ensures that no issue goes unaddressed and gives our crew the best opportunity to resolve matters promptly during the cruise. While we have received excellent feedback throughout the season for your ship, we appreciate all insights and will take your comments into consideration to ensure we maintain a high standard for all our guests. In terms of ride structure, we understand your concern about group pacing. Safety is a top priority for us, which is why we always provide two experienced guides for each ride — one at the front and one at the back — to manage different riding speeds and support the group throughout the route. We also appreciate your suggestion about offering separate ride options for different levels and will certainly take this into consideration for future departures.Your idea to include more swim stops at secluded bays is also well noted. We agree that these moments can be some of the most memorable, and we’ll explore how we can better incorporate them where timing and logistics allow. Thank you again for your feedback — it plays a key role in helping us enhance the experience for future guests.
We were on the Esperanza which is an excellent facility. The food and service were outstanding. I think every port stop should include a walking tour. I think it would be good to have the boat docked while we are at lunch so you could walk off immediately after lunch. Our cruise director Mia worked very hard to keep everything organized. Unfortunately she is difficult to understand as her speech is very rapid fire. The guests got to know each and all were friendly. Lovely overall experience!
- Scott, 10/09/2025 06:47, Travelled in a Couple
Nicola (captain) and Ivana were great crew to guide us along the Croatian coast. They were attentive and flexible with our group of 9 and Ivana did a great job preparing meals after shopping for us daily. The island stops were beautiful places to visit!
- Dan, 10/09/2025 00:39, Travelled with Friend/s
Lovely boat, comfy bed and cabin. Very relaxing on board and nice stops along the Split North route. SC rep was excellent as was service on board. Food was a bit hit and miss but Croatia not renowned for its cuisine. Warmed plates would help
- Nigel, 09/09/2025 14:06, Travelled in a Couple
Excellent ship (Romantic Star) and crew. Wonderful sights and stops, particularly the swim stops. Island overnights in Korcula, Hvar. Dubrovnic were spectacular. The food was generally very good and accomodations were made for those with dietary requirement. It’s amazing how these meals were created in such a small galley. We would suggest some improvements should be made in the quality control of optional excursions, such as in our case, the Vis Island tour where 8 passengers were required to travel in a 4 seater Jeep with 4 of us in the back cargo area on wooden benches with no seat belts! We would also suggest that Sail Croatia provide the option to sign up for excursions when booking so that can be included in the price of the trip. Otherwise, sailing is a great way to see Croatia which is a very hilly country when travelling by land.
- Howard, 09/09/2025 08:30,
Sailing on the Olimp with Sail Croatia was, overall, a very good experience. The boat itself was fantastic, and the crew were excellent. However, a couple of things did take the shine off the trip. Firstly, in the cabins there’s a constant whirring from the extractor fans throughout the night. The air-conditioning is fine, but these bathroom fans never switch off. We asked for them to be turned off, which they kindly did on the first night, but for the rest of the week we had to put up with the noise—such a shame. Secondly, breakfast was always served in the dining area, which is air-conditioned, but with all the doors kept closed the sound of 30 people chatting becomes deafening. It seems such a missed opportunity not to let guests spread out onto the aft deck, where there’s fresh air and space for the noise to dissipate.

our guide, very clean boat, social environment, great weather and scenery.

The biking was the highlight of the sail. The food was good. The lower rooms could use better ventilation. The rooms were very damp. Staff were accomadating

The highlight of a Sail Croatia cruise are the incredible islands you visit and the fun activities available on all. I could nit-pick over little things we did not like which is why we give it a 4-star not 5. More than happy to share the constructive comments if you like in a separate communication. Always best to have objective and fair feedback to help you constantly improve. Overall a great experience.
- Daniel, 08/09/2025 09:17, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Daniel, thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the incredible islands and activities on your cruise. We truly appreciate your constructive feedback and would be happy to receive any additional comments you’d like to share directly – it’s invaluable in helping us continually improve. We’re glad you had a great overall experience and hope to welcome you back on another adventure soon!
The trip destinations and food was great. The attitude of some staff including the cruise director was pretty poor. The captain of the boat and chef were excellent but other staff were openly stating they were over the season and complaining or arguing with the customers. The cruise director twice had harsh words with us through no fault of our own which is unacceptable.
- Peter, 08/09/2025 06:33, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Peter, Thank you for your review. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the destinations and food, and we appreciate your kind words about the captain and chef. However, we regret to hear about your experience with some of our staff and the tour representative. This is not the level of service we strive to provide. For this week, guest ratings were generally high, with most scoring 4 and 5 stars for the crew, so I’m sorry to hear your experience was not the same. We expect all our customers to have the same experience throughout the season and your comments have been passed on to our management team, and we’ll address this with the crew to ensure improvements are made. Thank you.
The itinerary was well plannned with excellent leaders. I especially enjoyed the bike routes and swim spots! The food was good but the coffee was not acceptable! I would use Sail Croatia again!
- Henry, 08/09/2025 06:04, Travelled in a Couple
our guide, Vedran, combined with the absolutely lovely ship Queen Jelena and it's expert captain/owner (Gordan? sorry), combined for a wonderful experience. Exploring the Dalmatian Coast this way was amazing and everything we hoped it would it be, and was so much more. Vedran informed, educated, coddled and tolerated all of us crazy tourists with grace, humor, and bottomless patience. The captain found us the most beautiful swimming spots each day, and navigated through the islands so smoothly, especially during the few rough waters we had. The boat is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and relatively brand new (2018)! My only quibbles would be with the kitchen. The Captain's dinner was one of the best meals we had in our 2 weeks in Croatia (and probably the most fun!), and all the lunches were lovely (though the chef could have used a lighter touch with the tuna steaks and racks of lamb to better represent his skills). We just wish the breakfast window was longer and less rigid.
- Peter S, 06/09/2025 12:12, Travelled in a Couple
Best way to explore Croatia! The staff made me feel very welcomed and safe.
- Michael, 01/09/2025 16:32, Travelled Solo
We had a really lovely time. We were lucky enough to only have 16 people on our boat which meant we had lots of space and there was no issues getting deckchairs etc. I would imagine that with 40 people on board the boat would feel a little cramped, and getting a deckchair might be something of a challenge. The boat itself is beautiful and well looked after. The staff were really lovely and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the food was not good and certainly didn't math the price point. This was an opinion was shared by many of the other guests. Besides this, everything else on the boat was great. The Itinerary (Split - Dubrovnik) was great. The stops were beautiful and the excursions offered were on the whole really great. Overall it was a great experience and we had a lovely time.

Forgive my spelling of names but Jospina and Skipper Ante where the best. Every meal was perfect and they were attentive to all our needs, especially some of our party that were less sure footed getting on and off board. Bottom line only complaint was who sends a charter out with only 1 towel per guest for a week( this was not the crews fault) . Had a great time overall and our Crew were very knowledgeable of all the ports which made getting to and from any adventures/tours we went on super easy and added to our fun!!!!
- Philip, 13/08/2025 02:08, Travelled with Family
The boat we where on the Mala Kate was shit, Pay the little bit extra and go on a better boat. This was my first time on a sailing boat Croatia and I expected more. The rooms were dirty, bins never cleaned , alcohol cleaned up yes. The captain took us of cause multiple times, did not stop at certain swim spots and missed actual islands throughout the whole journey. Honestly a partial refund would be expected as the experience on this was not what was promised nor the correct destinations visited. The boat was way out of ratio from male to female also.
- Kris, 12/08/2025 04:33, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Kris, Thank you for taking the time to review your cruise with us this season. It is a shame to read that you felt the option you booked did not meet your expectations. We offer a wide range of different ship types to suit everyones budgets, offering different levels of accommodation and comfort. For example, our Premier ship cabins, offering spacious cabins with ensuite bathrooms and AC. I wanted to provide some more information on the decision to change the itinerary during your cruise. I can see that due to unfavourable weather, it was reported that the Captain did need to make some changes to the itinerary, I'm afraid. Due to the increase in wind and rocky seas, a swim stop was also not possible due to safety reasons. Our Captains are responsible for the safety of both the vessel and all guests onboard, and in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, they may adjust the itinerary if necessary to maintain this. I'm pleased to see that after missing Hvar earlier in the week, the Captain made sure to make this stop later during your cruise so that guests did not miss out on visiting this destination. Although some changes needed to be made due to the weather in Croatia, I can confirm that all other destinations were visited as per your itinerary, and just Mljet was skipped as a result of bad weather. We have a rigorous process in place for handling any issues that may arise whilst you are on the sail, which is included in the Pre-departure information emailed to you before the tour. I can see from our reporting that you did not raise any issues with your Sail Croatia Representative whilst you were on board Mala Kate, which is a shame as our crew could have organised additional cleaning of your cabin and emptying of bins. We have reached out to you directly to discuss your feedback further, Kris. Thank you, Cayley
This was our second Sail Croatia experience, and it was just as fantastic as the first. The crew was exemplary, and special thanks must go to our wonderful Cruise Director, Ana. Her attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm ensured every aspect of our trip was a memorable adventure. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sail Croatia to anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable holiday. The only minor issue we encountered was with the cabin allocation. While this didn't detract significantly from our overall enjoyment, a more thoughtful approach to cabin assignments could have elevated the experience from a four-star cruise to a truly exceptional one.
- Nigel, 07/08/2025 04:16, Travelled with Friend/s
The beautiful ship. The amazing swim stops. The clean and spacious cabins. The ‘welcome on board’ canapés. The opportunity to experience some beautiful, picturesque islands. The Captains dinner. The itinerary. Mio & the lovely cleaning lady who cleaned our cabins. Only having 14 guests on board. Room for improvement:: The staff could be more friendly (except Mio and the cleaning lady - they couldn’t do enough for you); there should be more fish served as part of our lunches as we are out at sea and in the Adriatic! The lunches were lovely but certainly could be improved; the breakfasts and fresh fruit needed to be replenished as you were scared of having too much and not leaving enough for other passengers. It was not clear that you could have more. The chief female waitress in my opinion didn’t want to be there and that was more than obvious at times. As there was only 14 guests on board, it felt like most of the crew were ‘on a jolly’ and did not make enough effort to satisfy.

We really enjoyed the itinerary and The Esperanza was very well maintained. However some issues need addressing. The staff don’t appear to be very happy in their work place. Deck hands rarely smiled, the waitress in the salon was at times most inappropriate and borderline rude. It’s not every day you hear the F word or gestures using an arms whilst talking to passengers. So totally unprofessional and disrespectful to the Captain.. We appreciate that crew are able to go ashore for free time but please don’t tell the passengers that drinking of alcohol was consumed whilst ashore and then come onto deck to work; Safely for guests and crew surely should be paramount. The salon steward Mio went above and beyond to make every moment a pleasurable experience. The food lacked any wow factor, breakfast tepid, cold ravioli not nice, lettuce leaves as a salad, fruit bowl not replenished until we complained Only 14 guests in total and that shouldn’t mean less effort.. Representive did his job.

We really enjoyed our time on the Salve Di Mare. The locations we visited were beautiful! Absolutely stunning. Our cruise director Dino was friendly and informative. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't say anyone went above and beyond though. The rooms were nice and always cleaned well. The cruise is expensive and we really do not believe that is was worth the price we paid. The food was average at best. Well cooked, but boring. Breakfast was front 8 -9.30 with zero flexibility. No food or options for food is offered between breakfast and lunch. So if you miss breakfast, bad luck. Lunch was a 3 course meal and although I eat everything, my partner doesn't eat fish and instead received a piece of 'stuffed' half zucchini instead. During swim stops, which were again, stunning! While on the top deck reading a book, no one ever came up to ask if you'd like a drink! I found that the most puzzling. Wouldn't you want to make money?! Hard to give 3 stars, we loved it!
- Luke Carvell, 04/08/2025 08:10, Travelled in a Couple
The ship was immaculately fitted out, crew were friendly, helpful and courteous. Food was substantial and generally good standard. But not gourmet as photography on brochures suggested. The islands were interesting and great to explore, however, a couple had very little to keep us occupied and exploring( notably Brac). Sail Croatia events coordinator was always helpful and available to help and plan for each stopover.. We felt that more entertainment in evenings even one more early on in cruise would have brought guests and crew together . The evening dinner on one of the islands was extremely disappointing, both for location and the meal itself.
- Peter, 29/07/2025 15:00, Travelled in a Couple
This is a trip to recommend for several reasons, the itinerariy is superb. Ivana our host could not have been better and the crew is fantastic. There is always room to improve on A few things like breakfast, the village dinner, but all in all very good
- Gustavo, 29/07/2025 05:12, Travelled with Family
Marin made the week as great as possible. Disappointing about Hvar situation but he improvised well. Super easy going & knowledgeable host makes your time as stress free & enjoyable as possible. Food was slightly disappointing after seeing/hearing about the other boats.

Make travel from boat to club/port/city centre etc included in the overall fair, or inform customer of these costs, pre-departure. Give a selection of restaurants for the customers to vote on to eat together. The restaurants chosen for use were very expensive were there were cheaper options available. Have the BBQ dinner included in the price paid for the week, not as an additional expense.
- Ethan, 23/07/2025 15:25, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Ethan, Thank you for taking the time to review your cruise with us this summer - we are so pleased to have you on board! Yes, your onboard Representative will certainly make recommendations on where to eat your evening meals. Guests are given the freedom to dine at the suggested locations or choose somewhere else if they prefer. Additional costs are detailed in the Pre-Departure Information sent to guests one week prior to departure. It is important to us that we set the right expectations for travellers, ensuring they can budget appropriately. Please rest assured that guest feedback is very important to us, and the suggestion on the BBQ will be passed on to the relevant teams so that we can make improvements where necessary. Thank you for a fantastic week in Croaita!
My second Sail Croatia holiday and just as good as the first. I chose the Split Northern Cycle Tour to explore some new places and more of some of the places I'd visited previously, It was a great trip with an excellent multi national bunch of people on board. We were well looked after and the rides were excellent, scenic, varied, interesting and challenging but do go for the e-bike option unless you are a serious bike rider!

Our trip was good overall. The boat was fantastic, and the crew did a great job. The swim stops were good fun for the first few days, but it got a bit repetitive after a while, especially when it goes for multiple hours. This however also means we get limited time at each destination. Just enough to have dinner before the sun sets, walk around a little, and then the boat is off by 7 or 8am the next morning. Also, we booked the explorer cruise thinking it wasnt the young party cruise, nor the golden oldies cruise. We were hoping for a mid age crowd with like minded people - this wasn't really the case. I will say though however, the people we did share the boat with were all a pleasure. It delivered what was advertised. But if I knew then what I know now, I'd probably just have booked my own trip through croatia, giving us more time in locations where we want to be and not wasting days at locations with little to offer or waiting to dock.

It was an amazing experience, great staff, amazing places, and great people that you will 100% make friendships from. My only down side is when we are all hungover we don’t really wanna eat fish or weird dishes
- Joren , 21/07/2025 09:28,
Great way to see the country! Experience different towns and landscapes with others from around the world. Your guide helps in bringing you to unique spots that you would otherwise not know to check out. One of the best trips my partner and I have ever been on!
- Andrew, 15/07/2025 16:16, Travelled in a Couple
Our time on board the ship and during the cycling cruise was fantastic. The ship's crew was friendly and professional. Our cycling guides, Tonka and Sanja, were excellent, fun, and took us to many wonderful places. They also made numerous recommendations that were very helpful and enjoyable. My only criticism was for communication with the Sail Croatia personnel. It was difficult to find out which boat you were assigned to because that information was buried in a specific email link. I also asked about storage on the bicycles since they had racks and was told there was none. There were panniers provided and I did not need the backpack I had bought based on the misinformation.
- William, 08/07/2025 18:56, Travelled with Friend/s
The trip was well organised and the staff aboard, excellent. Our tour guide/organiser kept us well informed.
- Phil , 07/07/2025 11:02, Travelled in a Couple
Beautiful ship & great Staff
- Christopher , 01/07/2025 05:23,
Being able to cycle and see the places we visited with local knowledge guides. E Bikes makes it much easier and open to a wide variety of abilities. Stopping at every port and trying out local restaurants was also nice.
- Mark , 27/06/2025 04:46, Travelled with Friend/s
Pros: Crew was great overall. The bartenders/servers were fantastic. Breakfast was fine to good and met expectations. Croatia is a beautiful country and our tour guide/runner was a local that was very knowledgeable in this aspect. Cons: Lunch was in general, underwhelming for the cost. My wife is a health nut, and I saw her salt food for the first time in my life. When paying this premium on price I would expect the food to be more elevated, or at least more enjoyable. The video implied more access to the boat than we received. Several small requests - like opening windows, screens, etc were denied and the requests themselves often felt as if we were asking the staff to move mountains. Tour guide was not particularly friendly, often had condescending responses to guests, & occasionally left out vital info when visiting particular islands (i.e cash only). Unfortunately, the experience on the cheaper options is probably more reflective of the value you receive on the Elegance line.
- Kyle, 20/06/2025 02:30, Travelled in a Couple
The tour guides Ivan and Lucija made the trips wonderful and unforgettable. Thank you.. It would have been a 5-stars tour if the breakfast varies daily, the ship is stocked with shampoo and the bed mattress is thicker. The staff on board were wonderful. The tour was well organized and the bikes were fantastic. Beach towels were not provided either.. It would have been very nice if these are provided as well.
- Roger, 18/06/2025 15:37, Travelled with Friend/s
I wish we could visit the ports in the morning instead of being on the boat. The weather was so hot we just didn't want to go out exploring the port until 7PM. Food and crew on the boat were excellent, as well as our Sail Croatia rep really trying to make the afternoon excursions work smoothly.
- Matthew, 17/06/2025 22:08, Travelled in a Couple
1) Omit overnight on day 7 of trip. End the trip after lunch on day 6. This eliminates unreasonably early check out on day 7 and also makes it easier for a guest to check in to their hotel in DBV without having to wait until 12:00 or 13:00 check in time. 2) Onshore excursion options need clear explanation in pretrip communication. Example: I was not told that a scenic bus tour and a walking tour of DBV was available, so I booked them in advance with Viator. If I had known I would have gone on the onshore excursion instead. 3) Include the use of one pannier on the bike. 4) Include written instructions for charging the bike battery and operating the ebike. 5) There were three outlets in the cabin. That is insufficient to charge two bike batteries plus two phones plus hearing aids, etc. A simple multi-plug adapter can fix this issue. 6) Guide must not make promises he doesn't keep. Example: A military tour was promised on one island (Vis?) but was never delivered.
- Tom, 11/06/2025 07:21, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Tom, thank you for your 3-star review. We also appreciate your detailed positive feedback and we’re so pleased you enjoyed the cruise and would recommend us. Guests are always welcome to disembark once the boat docks at the final destination, should they prefer to end their trip earlier. Your comments about the pannier, charging instructions, and multi-plug adapters are appreciated and have been passed to our Operations Team for review. While our guides provide information at the daily briefing based on the cycle schedule, some activities, such as onshore excursions or optional tours, may be subject to change or availability. We regret that the expectations around the military tour and Dubrovnik excursion options were not met - we appreciate your comments. Thank you again for your review.
The staff made it a really great trip especially Max. Ivana’s knowledge of the area and her help was exceptional.

While this was somewhat of a good experience, there was too much down time, internet reception was extremely poor and whilst the crew were friendly enough they did not seem to want to go above and beyond, then at the end of the cruise, we were nearly shamed in to giving a tip, it was most uncomfortable.
- Anonymous, 10/06/2025 00:24, Travelled in a Couple
Hi there, thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience with us. I’m glad to hear that you found some aspects of the cruise enjoyable - this is wonderful to hear. Our Explorer cruises are designed to blend socialising, sightseeing and relaxation on board. You will find in your Pre-Departure Information, more details on Tipping In Croatia. Tipping is not compulsory in Croatia, however, it is customary, and if you are happy with the service onboard, tips are very much appreciated. Your comments will be passed onto our team in Croatia and we appreciate your insights as they help us improve our services. We want to thank you for joining us this season in Croatia!

Everyone on the Afrodita works so hard, the ship was very well maintained and the food was great. The hike guides very good and well informed. The trails were not maintained by any standards basically goat paths. I slipped and fell on first hike injured my leg, cuts and bruised on the loose sharp rock. The guides Martin and ILona were great. Martin applied bandages to my leg to stop the bleeding then helped me finish the last kilometer back to the boat. I had to skip the hike the next day and only did 5 of the 7 hikes opting to do the easiest. Looking back I wish I knew the trail conditions, the length and elevations were all that I remember and the hikes were moderate. Next time we will do the elegant cruse. I wish I could give 5 stars.
- Brandon Weder, 08/06/2025 14:35, Travelled in a Couple
The locations and crew were outstanding. Our guides Mario and Marin were full of knowledge and stressed safe riding. The crew on the boat were also very good. The booking process was less than stellar. My son and I were assigned a room with one double bed, not two singles. Since are large people, it did not work. He slept under the bed. Booking knew the assignment but would not/could not change it. Serious screw up by the office staff.
- Larry, 30/05/2025 15:08, Travelled with Family
Hi Larry, thank you for your review and for your kind words about our guides and crew – we’re delighted you enjoyed the overall experience. We regret to read about your booking experience. As outlined in our FAQs, cabin types vary by ship and are based on 2 people sharing – with configurations including twin beds, bunk beds, or one double bed. Whilst preferences can be requested at booking, we cannot guarantee specific layouts due to each ship’s unique cabin setup and limited availability. Final cabin allocations are confirmed a week before departure. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again.
The boat was immaculate. A credit to the skipper and crew. The guides Mika and Lola were fantastic.

- Anonymous, 28/05/2025 10:32, Travelled in a Couple
Numerous swimming stops and excursions and daily briefs on Croatia history and culture. Nightly stops at interesting ports with historical and cultural heritage relevance. Captain and crew members professional service ensured a worry free rememberable experience.
- Scott, 27/05/2025 14:24, Travelled in a Couple
1) Smaller group! With that many riders (32) the faster riders, some of whom would have ridden even faster if allowed, spent way too much time waiting for the slower riders. This was the case on the uphills, the downhills, and the level rides. People ride at different speeds, regardless of terrain or type of bike. 2) Longer, full-day rides. One day was only 10 km, which is ridiculous.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your review and share your feedback following your recent Cycle Cruise with us. We're always grateful to hear from our guests, as it helps us continuously improve the experience we offer. We're sorry to hear that the group size and varying riding speeds impacted your enjoyment. Our Cycle Cruises are designed as guided group experiences, and as such, we aim to accommodate a wide range of cycling abilities. To manage this, each ride is led by two experienced guides—one at the front and one at the back—ensuring no one is left behind and that the group remains safe and supported throughout the journey. We appreciate your comments regarding the distance of some rides. Please note that all daily itineraries, including ride durations and distances, are made available in advance of booking. This allows guests to choose the trip that best matches their expectations and ability. Some days do feature shorter rides for safety, logistical, or scenic reasons, and all routes are carefully risk assessed to suit the group setting. While we understand that some guests may prefer longer or more individually tailored rides, our Cycle Cruises are intentionally designed as shared adventures—focused on group camaraderie, support, and exploration at a pace suitable for a diverse range of participants. That said, we do value your input and will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to refine our itineraries and offerings. We thank you again and we hope to welcome you again in the future on another journey!
Lovely and relaxing adventure. I wish all my vacations were this fun! Thomas
- Thomas, 26/05/2025 13:11,
Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful trip on our bike-boat trip in May 2025. The guides were very good and kept us well informed. The bikes were very good quality and easy to ride. My only criticism is that my wife and I slept in separate small beds in our cabin. We would’ve clearly preferred to be in a single bed together at night as we have been for 40 years. All in all, this was a very successful vacation for my wife and myself.
- David, 26/05/2025 12:42, Travelled in a Couple
Great sail and hike conditions. Our hike guides Lola and Mila were great. Fantastic knowledge and humour to boot
- Grant, 26/05/2025 10:47,
Beautiful islands Quiet roads Amazing scenery Great food Great hospitality
- Greg, 26/05/2025 08:42,
The ship was in great shape and the Captain very skilled. the crew worked hard to make our week a fun/safe time and they succeeded. However, meals are a big part of our annual boat and bike trips. Here they failed. The meals were far too heave generally and the BBQ night was substandard with much meat and few veggies...and they were buried under all that meat. The meal was awful. Equally as bad was the captains dinner of steak that was unchewable...oh, the coffee was worse than any I had in the Navy and I didnt thimk that woukd ever be possible...undrinkable sludge..this boat & bike towr tour 7th as a group. It was the also the first to not put out a nice happy hour food spread...only pretzels and biscuits. All in all, I won't recommend this trip .
- Dennis, 21/05/2025 13:13, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for taking the time to review us! We’re delighted to hear that you found our Captain very skilled, our crew hardworking, and the ship in a great condition. It’s always rewarding to know our team contributed to a safe and enjoyable experience. We're truly sorry to learn that the food during the Captain's dinner and BBQ did not meet your expectations. We understand how important meals are in shaping the overall travel experience. Your comments regarding the menu containing too much meat and poor quality of coffee are especially valuable, and we’ll be sharing them with our team as we work to refine and expand our offerings to better cater to a wider range of dietary preferences and expectations. While we regret that your experience didn't leave you feeling confident to recommend us based on the meals provided, we appreciate your honesty. Feedback like yours plays a crucial role in helping us to improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future with enhancements that reflect your input.

Karolina and the Crew Only down side was the Hot Breakfast was always cold and disappointed the Captain only sat on one table and did not move to each table after each course.
- Greg, 13/05/2025 07:42, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Greg, thank you for 4-star review. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed your time with Karolina and the crew. We’ve taken note of your comments regarding the breakfast and the Captain’s presence, and will be sharing them with the team to ensure we continue to deliver the high standards of service and quality we strive for. Thank you.
The cruise had a nice relaxing pace but there was still lots to enjoy The food was great. Vicko was very helpful and entertaining.

Beautiful islands, clear water, great crew & comfortable accommodations.
- Greg, 13/05/2025 01:47, Travelled with Friend/s
Great experience meeting a number of people from around the world. Crew did a fantastic job ensuring we were kept safe and answered all of our needs. Well done. Klara our cruise director did an outstanding job keeping us informed and did everything she could to ensure we were taken care of regardless of the time. Highly recommended
- James, 12/05/2025 17:08, Travelled with Family
Everyone was so friendly both guests and staff. All staff worked hard to ensure we had a pleasant experience. I felt we should have had complementary tea/coffee available at all times. Also the cycle part of our trip could have given water bottles .
- Andrew , 12/05/2025 15:21,
The staff could not have been more helpful, the guides were knowledgeable and were quick to make changes when the weather demanded it. However charging €40 for a bottle of sparkling wine that retails at £6 is outrageous.
- Colin, 12/05/2025 10:14, Travelled with Family
More time at destinations rather than hanging out at sea. Get a real coffee machine. That powdered machine was terrible.
- Dennis, 11/05/2025 09:06, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Dennis, Thank you for your recent review. We understand that everyone's travel preferences are different, and we’re always working to strike the right balance between time at sea and time at each destination. For guests who want to see what to expect day by day, our full itinerary and daily activity breakdown are available on our website. We also appreciate your feedback about the coffee. We're always looking at ways to better our onboard experience, this will be passed on for further improvements. Thanks again for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you aboard again in the future!
The cruise was great. This survey is a pia. I had written a glowing review but the program erased it because I didn't want to include my name. So there you go.

The guide, Anita, was excellent. Charming, efficient and most helpful. It was a joy to have such service. I cannot recommend her too much. The crew were very helpful. Food not so good- too much overcooked meat, just one fish dish in 7 days.. Good bar service. Most enjoyable party after the captain',s dinner- lots of dancing ! I did not engage in excursions, as too strenuous for my age.. Others enjoyed them.. Cabin fine and very efficient and pleasant cleaner.
- Michael, 24/10/2024 13:59, Travelled Solo
We were a group of friends (8) who joined Sail Croatia for the Dubrovnik to Split 7 day cruise. The cabins were comfortable, the bathroom more spacious than the normal cruise ship. With only 40 people onboard I was concerned that we would be in each others pockets. There is more than enough space onboard to ensure you can read a book quietly if you want. The staff on our cruise (Salve de Mere) were supurb, from the maid throufg to the Captain, we were all in excellent hands. I loved the fact that we docked in small ports each night so we could enjoy local restaurants and bars. Each morning we stopped for a swim...as it was late season a few of us decamped to the jaquizzi where we had pre lunch cocktails...great fun! Each afternoon we were given options of excursions we could take, from walking and exploring, to bike rides and wine tasting. I would probably give the Buggies a miss as you travel in convoy at about 20kms per hour...very boring and a waste of money..
- Simon, 23/10/2024 11:31, Travelled with Friend/s
Wonderful ship and crew were very accommodating.
- Anonymous, 22/10/2024 08:27, Travelled with Friend/s
The crew was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. We were kept informed on a daily meeting about changes and weather situations concerning our travels. V our guide was great, suggesting restaurants and other things about the Croatia people. I would choose to do this trip again. It was a vacation of a lifetime! Most people were not happy that coffee couldn't be have after 9:00 am.
- Rick, 10/10/2024 17:24, Travelled with Friend/s
Our tour hosts Ivan and Lucija were wonderful hard working guides. Thanks. Lucy and the rest of the kitchen staff were amazing. Thanks. The ship, crew and captain were amazing. Thanks. To be at a beautiful Croatian port, on the Adriatic sea in the morning and not allowed to have any type of coffee on the ship till 7:30 is a sad fact.
- Rob, 09/10/2024 16:36, Travelled with Friend/s
Loved the week on the ship. Met some great people. Mostly from Australia, UK and USA. Particularly enjoyed the swim stops. Great food too. Be aware though that the ship docks late afternoon in each location so some of the advertised shore excursions will not happen. We found this disappointing and would recommend Sail Croatia only promote those excursions that have a realistic chance of going ahead.
