Everything was almost perfect, except the noise in the eating room was painful and the noise in the restaurant that we went to as a group was also excruciatingly loud and the food wasn’t very good. I would not recommend the Olimp boat to anybody else until those problems are fixed.

Our tour guide Lola was incredible !!! she was easy to talk to and extremely helpful She helped us arrange water taxis and answered all of our questions. Lola was great !! We were extremely disappointed with the ship's itinerary. Had we knew that the daily swim stop was actually more than 1/2 a day of swimming and that most shore excursions were to start after lunch, Starting shore excursions at 3;00 or 4;00 is just too late . we would not have taken this cruise. We did not come to Europe to swim, we came to see and explore towns and sights. For instance we visited Milena which was a waste of a day, Nothing really to see. I wish we could have spent the time in Split which is a wonderful and interesting city.
- John, 06/10/2026 14:38, Travelled with Friend/s
Great crew. Lola was incredible. Itinerary was a bit too light with the morning swim seeming like wasted time. Should charge a bit more and include more without additional charges (coffee, tea and soft drinks; more towels changed more often; greater food variety).

Our group of 20 sailed on Sail Croatia’s Elegance Cruise aboard Katarina in late September/early October & had a wonderful experience overall. Katarina is a beautiful luxury vessel. The food & drinks were excellent, while the captain, crew & Sail Croatia guide were incredibly welcoming & accommodating. The onboard experience exceeded expectations. Our disappointment was specifically with the late-season stop in Vela Luka. We spent an entire afternoon & evening there, but much of the town had already closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were shut, taxis & boats were unavailable & we couldn’t arrange transportation to nearby beaches. With our travel dates known well in advance, these seasonal limitations should have been considered. Our group of 20 would have gladly welcomed a different stop or extra time in Dubrovnik. Excellent vessel, food, crew & service—just disappointing itinerary planning for the time of year.

Thank you for your wonderful comments about Katarina and our onboard team! We're delighted to hear that the vessel, food and drinks exceeded expectations, and that our Captain, crew and Sail Croatia Representative made your experience so enjoyable. We're sorry that you found Vela Luka quieter than anticipated. Vela Luka is a scheduled destination on our Elegance itinerary, and while the seasonal operation of local businesses and transport providers is outside of our control, there were a number of options available during the stop, including a wine tasting excursion, Vela Spila and arrangements for guests interested in visiting nearby Proizd. The Captain's Dinner was also held onboard that evening. We appreciate your feedback regarding the late-season experience and have shared this with our Operations Team. We're very pleased that you and your group otherwise had such a wonderful experience aboard Katarina, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
- fine but the food could have been better with healthier choices

Ivica and Antonio were terrific. The food was outstanding. The boat was great. The biking seemed to be going from A to B with little sightseeing.

Firstly, the Esperanza is not the most modern in the Sail Croatia fleet - but it it extremely well looked after and is in pristine condiition. The Captain was very friendly and engaging. And all of the 8 crew do an incredible job - they are all very focusing on deliverying outstanding customer service. Our room was very well equiped, comfortable and surprisingly spacious - and the bathroom was a great size. The boat, has plenty of deck space, to sit out in the sun and there are also plenty of shaded areas. The seating areas of the boat and large and comfortable - you never feel there is not enough space. The restaurant was set for 8 people per table. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options. Lunch was a fixed 3 course meal - there was also a small daily salad bar available with lunch. Internet was a. challenge onboard. The only criticism I have is that the tour leader - who was very nice and very helpful - had a focus on cash only tours and cash tips for the crew

Thank you for your detailed feedback and 4 star review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your time aboard Esperanza and particularly appreciated the Captain, crew, spacious cabins and onboard facilities. We would like to clarify that optional excursions are operated by local suppliers in Croatia, with cash being their preferred payment method. Similarly, while crew gratuities are entirely optional, cash is the method used onboard should guests wish to leave a tip. Thank you again for travelling with us and for recognising the fantastic service provided by the Esperanza crew.
The crew were great and the ship was well laid out, very clean and tidy, and well maintained. We missed two destinations we were really looking forward to, the Blue Cave and Mljet island, but no effort was made by Sail Croatia to try and replace these locations with other appropriate destinations. Two destinations we did visit were very poor and of little interest - a walk of an hour allowed you to see all there was, which was not much! There were other blue and emerald caves that we passed on our journey but no effort was made to include these instead. Not a very good outcome and quite disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re delighted to hear you found the crew great and the ship clean, well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. We’re sorry you were disappointed to miss the Blue Cave and Mljet, particularly as these were destinations you were looking forward to. While itinerary changes can occasionally be necessary due to weather, sea conditions and local operating circumstances, we appreciate that alternative stops may not always feel comparable to those originally planned. Unfortunately, other caves along the route are not necessarily suitable or accessible for our vessels or able to be substituted at short notice. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry these changes impacted your overall experience.
The ship was modest but adequate, while the tour guides were exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic. they truly made the the cycling experience enjoyable and memorable . Overall , a wonderful trip.

Our holiday was wonderful. Our host Hana met us on the dock on day one and kept all the guests well informed the entire trip. The food was fantastic and the crew were all very good!!
- Bruce, 28/09/2026 02:18, Travelled with Family
Great time, the guides did a great job. They were friendly and knowledgeable. The crew was also excellent. On "complaint" is that the food on the boat could have been better. I would still recommend them.
- Christopher, 23/09/2026 18:58, Travelled with Family
Cruise was very nice, here are the positives and then what I would change. Good was food, prices on drinks was fair, Mio on staff, Croatia, cleanliness, captains dinner, communication once on ship, staff responsiveness, I would change the following, better quality water toys (standup paddle boards were cheapest quality imaginable), add “nice touches”( snacks, mints on pillow, thoughtful stuff). Huge lunch unnecessary and getting to islands after 2:30, often even later kinda sucked, change up breakfast offering/spread, outside Mio, Klara and captain, staff wasn’t engaging or customer friendly, everyday long swim stop not ideal or needed/wanted, get us to islands earlier, update website to correct information, (eg pay Bartab with cc or 10% discount for cash, etc, ) and a little disappointed we didn’t get to Vis - due to weather - but a friends boat went same day we should have. Overall very nice but was missing the thoughtful touches to make it a special and outstanding memory.
- Christian, 22/09/2026 11:11, Travelled with Family
Overall we had a good holiday. We were on the Emanuel. The boat was clean.. Biking with guides was very good. We were disappointed in some aspects. The rooms were very tight. We understand this is a boat but our bed was against a wall and the storage was minimal. The bed was very hard and linens/towels were just ok. The room would have felt better if they had used better quality items. It felt more like dorm living or summer camp. No swimming towels provided (which we knew ahead) but this takes a lot of room in a suitcase when traveling. The meals were basic and not of a standard that we expected for a vacation. Bar prices seemed a little high. It was stated not to bring food/drink onboard.. However, there was no food or snacks available other than meals. One day we were sailing 7 hours to avoid a storm and no food provided other than lunch. This meant drinking and no snacking. The upper deck was nice with a shaded area and sun deck but the furniture needs updated.

Thank you for your 4-star rating and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that overall you had a good holiday, found Emanuel clean and particularly enjoyed the cycling experience with our guides. We’re sorry that some aspects of the onboard experience did not meet your expectations. You travelled on our Premier ship category, which is designed to offer a more comfortable style of small-ship cruising, rather than a luxury experience. For guests looking for a higher standard of accommodation, amenities and onboard comforts, we also offer our Luxury Cycle product. As you noted, swimming towels are not included on our Premier ships and this is communicated prior to departure. We would also like to clarify your comment regarding bringing food onboard. Our policy does not permit external hot meals or takeaway food; however, guests are of course welcome to bring their own dry snacks onboard. We also appreciate your comments regarding the cabin furnishings, meals, bar offering and deck furniture, and will ensure these are shared with the relevant team. Thank you again for travelling with us. We’re pleased that overall you enjoyed your holiday and appreciate your 4-star review.
Generally we had a very good time but the food & behaviour of some of the crew detracted from the overall effect. From a positive point of view both of the tour leaders, Tasi & Toni, were excellent. They worked hard to produce a great experience, were both welcoming & knowledgeable. Each hike was fun, with lots of sights & information. For the price of the trip the food was not up to standard. Breakfasts were good but both lunches & dinners were poor, mostly constituted by overcooked meat, sauce & tinned vegetables. It could and should have been much better. The crew were generally OK, but one in particular shouted at the passengers a number of times in an unnecessary manner. A briefing at the beginning of the cruise as to what areas on the deck to avoid would have helped here too. The first swim off the back of the boat was fantastic & should have been repeated rather than staying at the dock & having to search out local beaches. Other passengers were also great fun & company
- Steve, 16/09/2026 15:14, Travelled with Friend/s
Good but hoped for more time to explore/shop … on the stops. Door stops for bathroom door needed, bathroom re-supply and amenities were poor, toilet was never cleaned in our room. Breakfast window of 8-9 too short when underway by 6-7 each day. A bit more variety in the hot breakfast menu - it was the same fare each day.. More excursions offered with passenger commitment secured before the trip starts - not everyone is into swimming and water sports. Crew and servers were very attentive and friendly. Lunches on board, captain’s dinner and impromptu barbecue dinner on board were excellent. A good sail overall.
- Anonymous, 15/09/2026 14:21, Travelled with Friend/s
Average at best. The food was well below average and we could not dock at a port until the afternoon. If you like sitting on a ship with nothing to do but play on your phone and take a swim off the back, then it’s perfect. Otherwise do something else.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that some aspects of the experience, particularly the food, did not meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify that the schedule you experienced reflects the way our small-ship cruises are designed to operate. Ships generally depart in the morning, with time spent cruising and enjoying swim stops along the route, before arriving at the next destination in the early afternoon. The ship then remains in port overnight, giving guests the afternoon and evening to explore the town, enjoy activities and have dinner ashore at their own pace. We appreciate that this style of cruising may not suit everyone, but for many guests the combination of cruising, swim stops and extended time ashore is an important part of the experience. Thank you again for travelling with us and for sharing your feedback.
Hi, just wanted to say that whilst the holiday destinations were excellent and the boat and crew generally upto the job, the food on board was way below the standard I would expect for a trip of this nature. This was a generally held opinion of the guests onboard to the extent that it spoilt an otherwise agreeable experience. Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the destinations visited and that you were generally happy with the ship and crew throughout your trip. We are, however, sorry to hear that the food onboard did not meet your expectations and that this impacted your experience. The onboard food was reviewed, and we have since received some excellent feedback from guests travelling aboard Esperanza, particularly regarding the food, which we have been pleased to see. Thank you again for travelling with us and for taking the time to share your experience.
A very enjoyable cruise. Crew was very friendly and helpful at all times. Food was excellant.

Very good. Mario was a great Skipper. Easy and fun attitude. We were 2 couples, there was plenty of room. The boat was good, although I was surprised there were no solar panels. As a result we were pretty much forced to go to a marina at least every second night. The water and the swim stops in small bays were absolutely beautiful and fun. Sail Croatia was super easy to deal with from start to finish. It would be nice if they had a place to store our bags on embarkation day for a couple of hours. Checkout at most places is 11am , and the boat is only available later. The only option is someone stays with the luggage or pay a private company that charges 6 euros. All in all a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Sail Croatia.
- Donald, 07/09/2026 05:55, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your 4-star review, Donald! We’re so pleased you had a great experience overall, enjoyed the beautiful swim stops, and especially your time with Mario as your Skipper. It’s also wonderful to hear you found the booking experience easy from start to finish. Night Sky does not have solar panels or an onboard generator, with the full spec of each vessel available on our website. For guests wishing to anchor overnight while still having access to electricity and air-conditioning, we recommend booking a larger vessel equipped with an onboard generator. Our office at ACI Split Marina is quite small, so unfortunately we’re unable to store luggage ahead of check-in. As you mentioned, luggage storage facilities are available nearby for a small fee, allowing guests to explore Split before boarding. Thank you again for recommending Sail Croatia, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
It was awesome we had a lot of fun, swim spots were awesome, the towns/cities were great. The crew were really easy to get along with and served quality tasting food. Only bad thing was the condition of the boat, it was clean don’t get me wrong, but the rooms were twice as hot as it was outside, (yes it was advertised there was no A/C) so there was no way to cool down and most people ending up sleeping outside on the deck during the night not using their rooms. And the shower amenities were pretty rough. We paid extra for an upper deck room thinking it would be cooler and less noisy, but it was the complete opposite, rooms downstairs were cooler and less noisy. I think if we had photos of the amenities and knew the condition of the rooms on the exact boat we were on, we wouldn’t have paid as much or gone at all. But don’t let that distract you from what made it worth while, all the people we met on the boat from guest to crew was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Thank you for your 4-star review! We’re so pleased to hear you had an awesome time overall and enjoyed the swim stops, destinations, food, and especially the crew and fellow travellers onboard. We appreciate your feedback regarding the ship facilities. You booked our Standard ship category, which is our most affordable option for budget-conscious travellers and features bunk-bed cabins, shared bathroom facilities and no air-conditioning. Images and specifications for each of our ship categories are available on our website to help highlight the differences between them, allowing guests to make an informed decision before booking with us. We also note in our FAQs under “What is the difference between Above and Lower Deck cabins?” that Lower Deck cabins can often be cooler and quieter than Above Deck cabins. We completely understand that everyone has different comfort preferences, and based on your feedback, we’d recommend considering one of our higher ship categories, such as Ensuite or Premier, for any future trip with us. Thanks again for travelling with us, and it’s great to hear that the people you met and experiences along the way made the trip so worthwhile!
Overall great. Brilliant Tour leader with Dino. Fabulous knowledge and nothing he couldn’t do even answering dumb questions by some 😂 Air conditioning was an issue but overall fabulous experience.

Sailing around from split to Dubrovnik was absolute pleasure. From three course lunches every day and new swim spots daily to choose from fabulous way to make the journey. I’m visiting a Newport every night to make fabulous memories

Our 1st trip to Croatia was a rich visit into the regions history and wonderful food. Divers are rewarded the magically clear water and many wrecks (check the depths!). Our yacht was clean, well laid out and comfortable. We’ve chartered numerous yachts and this was my favorite. This charter also included a skipper and hostess. Dora was phenomenal, well organized, engaging and a great cook (quality & variety). The skipper was friendly, professional and impressively skilled boatsman. We expected a charter where we would actually sail - we motored except for a couple hours. We docked on all but 1 night and had no opportunity for the family to momentarily take the helm. My impression is that the captain wanted to go in the straightest line possible (no sailing), dock (no mooring or dinghy needed) and go as fast as possible (no family experience to slow him down, increased fuel use and diesel fumes). Marina fees, bkfst/lunch for 9 and dinner for the 2 crew amounted to 5000 euros.

Thank you for sharing your 4-star review, and we're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your first visit to Croatia, the catamaran and, in particular, the wonderful care provided by your Skipper and Hostess. We're sorry that the amount of sailing did not fully meet your expectations. Sailing is always a priority where conditions and the planned itinerary allow, although this can naturally depend on the weather forecast and distances involved. We also appreciate your feedback regarding opportunities for the family to take the helm. In terms of expenses, these can vary significantly depending on grocery preferences and mooring choices. Based on previous guests travelling on Alley Cat, combined grocery and mooring costs have typically averaged around €1,500–€1,800 for the week, although individual spend can of course be higher or lower. Thank you again for your feedback, and we're so pleased you had an enjoyable and memorable time in Croatia.
Excellent holiday and meet some great people from around the world . Cruise manager was excellent with great communication regarding when and what was happening. The girl that cleaned my cabin was outstanding as well, and pleasant to talk with and always smiling. The remainder of the crew were less so . They failed to acknowledge you most times and were not interactive at all. We would have spent more money on bar if the staff had been better trained in the hospitality industry. .

Excellent time! Vedran is great tour leader! This boat is Family owned and immaculate! All staff are family and they care deeply about the boat and assuring guests have a great time. The only reason I gave this a 4-star rating is that the air conditioning in the cabins just could not keep up with the boiling outside temperature. Most everyone had issues with the air conditioning. Also, in my opinion, the lighting in the bathrooms is not sufficient. PRO Tip 1: Evidently the cabins below deck stay cooler than those above deck PRO Tip 2: Bring clothing that is quick drying and can be washed in the sink or shower. There are ship bars outside the cabins on the upper deck where you can hang them to dry. Clothes pins are provided. PRO Tip 3: Do not bring anything fancy, cool light weight fabrics are best. PRO Tip 4: A portable travel fan will come in handy. PRO Tip 5: Buy Euro at first island stop for less than getting it at home if not your currency.

Our week sailing on Spellbound with Ana and Daniel was a wonderful family holiday. They made us feel welcome and at home and showed us some beautiful islands, coves and ports. Daniel did a great job accommodating everyone’s tastes with great breakfasts and lunches and took us to some lovely restaurants for dinner. Our only disappointment was that the only day that it was suitable for sailing, the rigging was faulty and the main sail couldn’t be raised.
- Marion, 29/07/2026 09:04, Travelled with Family
Perfect relaxing holidays. Thanks to Mario, our skipper, who made this cruise unforgettable.
- Jacques, 17/07/2026 18:12, Travelled with Family
Positives- The food and dining service were excellent throughout the trip. The information shared about the islands, local attractions, and recommended activities was very helpful and enhanced our experience. Hanna was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always willing to help with restaurant reservations and excursion bookings. Her assistance was greatly appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our cruise experience and had a wonderful time. Areas for Improvement- We noticed that some staff members were smoking in or near common guest areas. Relocating smoking to designated staff-only areas would help create a more comfortable environment for guests, especially those who are sensitive to cigarette smoke. One bartender, Cesar, came across as less welcoming than the rest of the crew during our interactions. A more friendly and approachable demeanor would further enhance the overall guest experience.

6 of us sailed on the Almissa the first week of July. Right from the start we were greeted with friendly staff members who met all of our needs and answered all of our questions. Hana was our guide/host for the week and she was amazing. She always checked in on passengers daily asking them what they had done the day before and what the plans were. She gave us a play by play of what to expect each day and answered questions and gave suggestions in a timely manner. She was outstanding. The boat was extremely clean and was big enough for all thirty plus passengers to find space if needed. The staff was friendly and assisted whenever needed. The food was also the best food I have had on the trip - even better than the restaurants. The pace of the trip was great. The only reason I did not give five stars, is that I wish drinks were included in the price or that a drink package could be bought. I would definitely suggest bringing snacks on board as they were not provided throughout.

Had so much fun with a great bunch of people. Captain + crew were awesome. The facilities on the premium navigator cruise are actually really decent and surprisingly spacious. Worth the extra money, especially for AC. Side note; you will end up paying as much as the initial cost so be aware. However many of the daily activities are worth. Shout out Lauren for being an awesome rep.

Varying (hour by hour) ship schedule made it difficult to fully plan/enjoy. Schedule was blamed on docking constraints which were not immediately apparent unless line was saving on fees. Lack of opportunities to swim off ship was also disappointing. Coffee/tea should’ve been available free during all waking hours. More pillows desperately needed. Staff was appropriate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you found our crew to be appropriate, and we appreciate your comments on the overall experience. As our vessels operate within busy working harbours, daily schedules can vary depending on port availability, harbour authority requirements, and operational considerations. While this can occasionally impact time in port or swimming opportunities, these decisions are made to ensure the smooth and safe operation of each cruise. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding the availability of complimentary tea and coffee, additional pillows, and swimming stops. Guest feedback such as yours is valuable, and we'll be sure to share your comments with the relevant teams as we continue to review and enhance our onboard experience. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on board again in the future.

My wife and I had a great time on the sailing and biking adventure! The guides, scenery, and bikes were amazing! The routes were challenging at times and very beautiful. We had plenty of free time and made lots of new friends from around the world. We added extra days in Split (before) and Dubrovnik (after) which were both very enjoyable. Really loved this trip!

This was are second Sail Croatia cruise. The first was fantastic. Out second was on the Contessa, and it is a new boat. As with some new things, such as homes, boats, there is a pick up list of things that need improvement. In our case there were three issues. The AC was not working well and basically managed the room to 30 degrees Celsius, the boats internet was very limited, only working in the dining area, and that was food quality and taste was average. One of the driving forces besides the beauty of Croatia of our return was exceptional food quality, preparation and value in our first cruise. The chefs were amazing, tantalizing us with great appetizers, main courses and deserts. Although an effort was made it was not near the level of our first cruise. I imagine Sail Croatia will rectify these start up issues but want to present the facts as they were for us to future customers.
- Brad, 26/06/2026 10:00, Travelled with Family
Holiday was great. All staff on the boat were great to deal with. Boat was clean and safe as well as the food was excellent. Only drawback was that there were some people not on ebikes which held up the whole tour several times. Would have liked to ebike longer distances but were not able to because of this issue.

No what we expected but the country is beautiful many disappointments on the cruise
- David, 22/06/2026 22:19, Travelled with Family
We had a great time on our sail and cycle cruise thanks to Marin and Josip and our crew. Marin was our guide and Josip was our cycling guide and they were a great team-professional and very qualified yet warm and engaging. The support we received from these guys both on and off the bike was really amazing. I feel as though we got really lucky to have them assigned to our group. I took a star away because our boat-the Dionis-was very worn out. There were only 8 plastic loungers strewn about on the top deck and two were broken and there were 27 of us on board. We kept seeing other Sail Croatia boats with a full deck of chairs with cushions and I still can’t understand the disparity. Also, my husband and I ended up with a below deck cabin. It was dark, smelly, and very damp. Even the sheets at night were damp. I feel as though the trip could have been a perfect five stars if Sail Croatia had given more attention to the accommodations on the boat.

Great 7 days on board Columbo visiting and cycling a beautiful selection of islands including Hvar, Vis, Korčula, Mljet and Sipan. Always felt we were in safe hands with our calm leader Ivaniča and ever smiling guide Olja.

Sail Croatia, who I have used before were excellent in all areas, keeping us informed, before joining, welcoming us on arrival and making sure we had had a great time, when we returned. Unfortunately, it turns out that the boat that we had chartered, Rookie, was actually owned by another company, Ultra Sailing, and that Sail Croatia, this time, were just the booking agents. Unlike Sail Croatia, the greeting that we received from Ultra, was very cold and we felt immediately unwelcome by the woman, who checked us in, who shouldn’t be in a role, in front of customers. We had the same experience, with the same woman, on our return. Despite this, we had a fantastic week, on the water, in this beautiful part of the world. Shame, we would use Sail Croatia, again, but will never return to ACI Marina in Split, again

I enjoyed the other people on the tour and the guides (Marin and Martin). I did feel that the boat used was not a proper one for this kind of cruise. Once the bikes were loaded there was little room left. I noted other boats when at dock that were roomier on the stern on the middle. Also, the breakfast buffet was poorly organized. Again, there was a lack of space forcing people into a small table area where only one person could get in and had to come back out into the same line. There should be access in the round and not at one of the eating tables. When parked alongside other boats there was no airflow. This became an issue when the air conditioning was not working. The crew was not very friendly, were smoking near the eating area and on their phones. There were no smokers on the tour so it was somewhat disgusting to have to inhale the crews cigarette smoke. They should go off the boat or to the upper deck if they want to smoke. The food was not of good quality. Needs improvement.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed travelling with your fellow guests and that Marin and Martin helped make your experience a positive one. We will be sure to pass on your kind comments to them. We are sorry to learn that several aspects of the onboard experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the vessel layout, dining area configuration, air conditioning, food quality, and crew service. Guest comfort is extremely important to us, and we understand how these issues could have impacted your enjoyment of the cruise. Regarding your comments about the vessel size and onboard space, I can see that you travelled on one of our Premier ships. While these ships offer a comfortable cruising experience, we also offer a Premier Plus category for guests seeking additional space, larger cabins, and enhanced onboard amenities. Many of the larger vessels you may have seen during your cruise would likely have fallen within this category. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and recommendation. We truly value guest insights as they help us continue to improve our experiences.
It was good, but they have things to improve, like the air conditioning not working, the cancellation of multiple activities due to the weather, the captain's absence due to "illness" (though he seemed perfectly fine the other days), and having a bartender drunk almost 50% of the time. But the accommodations were very good, the food was very good, and the main day was excellent.

The sailing holiday was very good, the boat , OLIMP, was great and the size of the cabin brilliant. Service was very good by the staff and Dino was quite good as the co-ordinator. The only issue was with the payment of the bar. tab at the end of the trip and what cards that were accepted. A few things should be made clearer at the start of the trip so as not to have them becoming an issue on the last night. I will be recommending this trip to fiends for sure.

We had a wonderful week sailing with Sail Croatia and would happily recommend them to others. The entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Our boat was ready on time and in great condition, and the team provided helpful assistance both before we set off and when we were leaving the dock. Their communication was excellent. Before the trip, any message I sent was answered promptly with all the details we needed. This continued during our journey. When we saw a "bura" wind in the forecast, we messaged them for advice. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and gave us clear steps to take. They also went out of their way to help with a small request, providing an extra coffee machine for the boat when we asked, which was much appreciated. A particular highlight was Karolina, who personally stopped by to check in on us and make sure everything was going well. It was a nice, personal touch that showed they care about their guests. Highly recommend Sail Croatia!

Great staff and itinerary. A little more cleaning - railings and doors should be everyday. Sanitizer in dining room and public spaces. Half our group got sick which was NOT fun. Probably not their fault. All else was excellent. Their bikes were well Maintained and it was beautiful.

Martina and Mio were great. The Guide from Sail Croatia was a little tightly wound and confrontational. The food was just okay, and that’s probably generous. The worst part was all the noise on the boat. Spend ten bucks and put felt sliders on the chairs in the saloon. Seriously. The chair sliding noise killed all the cabins right below it. The drink prices were stupid for what you get. The food was very forgettable. But the boat and the crew were good!

My product ? Your product. Guides were great, boat crew was great ! Communication was fantastic ! All logistics great! Breakfast needs some help. Lunches not great. Need to rename the game- no sailing whatsoever. Bike Croatia is more appropriate.
- Robert, 01/10/2025 08:29, Travelled with Friend/s
Better food, more varied menu, higher quality. dining area should be larger- very cramped.
- Michael, 24/09/2025 06:33, Travelled with Friend/s
My husband and I loved the itinerary, and all the friends we made on board. 7 days of stunning swim stops, time to read a book or play a game of dice. Dino was a great help advising and setting up activities at each stop. The food was great! The boat is a bit dated, but I feel it was a fantastic value for the price.

Good itinery... Good equipment.. Knowlegable, competent, friendly Guides Great boat (Accomdation, Crew and meals) Altogether a great 7 days. Thank you

Croatia is scenic and the cycling was good. The crew of the Princeza Diana was terrific- they worked very hard and were friendly and happy to interact with guests. The food was absolutely top notch- I'd recommend this trip for the food alone. Our guides were only average based on multiple previous cycling trips in Europe. They were pleasant enough but seemed disconnected from their jobs. Perhaps it was late in the season and they had mentally moved on.

Excellent guides and beautiful destinations. Hiking trails fitted the group and if not alternatives were on offer.
- Bjarni , 22/09/2025 05:50, Travelled with Friend/s
The guides Ivan and Lucija were very knowledgeable and organized. We alway knew the plan and they provided great local info and recommendations. The food was well prepared and tastey. The coffee was good but cold. Maybe replace the coffee maker with a better style that keeps the urn warmer. The only downside was our ship was charged after all our travel plans were made. The upper bunk mattress was small and uncomfortable.
- George , 20/09/2025 16:35, Travelled with Friend/s
Overall the week aboard Morpheus was great. We had great service from the hostess Niki and Captain Christian had great suggestions for destinations and restaurants. The SUPs were not very good quality so check those and be sure to ask for more towels.

Lola was excellent as our tail end guide with good history comments along the way. For constructive criticism I would recommend that the up front lead guide (Srdan) go a bit slower so that we did not spread out into seperate pelotons with the later groups missing turns that Srdan made without stopping to allow the later groups to catch up.

On our recently completed trip from Dabrovnic to Split for 7 days, Although the "Tempera" ship requires some strong maintenance repairs and surface repairs, the experience beyond that was incredible for a first time cruise guest on that size and style of a ship. Our Cruise Manager Sasha was the most friendly, knowledgeable management team member that leads the way in customer relations and makes all guests feel like a family member. The Captain and crew provide a constant team effort of providing services of any nature while at sea or when at dock daily. We were fortunate to have a dining room / bar drink service leader in "Max", his efforts exemplify professionalism customer service. The most valuable aspect of this specific cruise trip was the personal relationships built in a very short order of time (from day 1) of the other guests. This size of a ship and the areas of common use created an experience like no other, for the friendships that were created, we thank you.
- Daryl, 15/09/2025 02:02, Travelled with Friend/s
Nicola (captain) and Ivana were great crew to guide us along the Croatian coast. They were attentive and flexible with our group of 9 and Ivana did a great job preparing meals after shopping for us daily. The island stops were beautiful places to visit!

our guide, very clean boat, social environment, great weather and scenery.

The biking was the highlight of the sail. The food was good. The lower rooms could use better ventilation. The rooms were very damp. Staff were accomadating

Very knowledgeable cruise manager/guide and great, hardworking staff
- Paul, 25/08/2025 14:06, Travelled with Family
Forgive my spelling of names but Jospina and Skipper Ante where the best. Every meal was perfect and they were attentive to all our needs, especially some of our party that were less sure footed getting on and off board. Bottom line only complaint was who sends a charter out with only 1 towel per guest for a week( this was not the crews fault) . Had a great time overall and our Crew were very knowledgeable of all the ports which made getting to and from any adventures/tours we went on super easy and added to our fun!!!!
- Philip, 13/08/2025 02:08, Travelled with Family
The boat we where on the Mala Kate was shit, Pay the little bit extra and go on a better boat. This was my first time on a sailing boat Croatia and I expected more. The rooms were dirty, bins never cleaned , alcohol cleaned up yes. The captain took us of cause multiple times, did not stop at certain swim spots and missed actual islands throughout the whole journey. Honestly a partial refund would be expected as the experience on this was not what was promised nor the correct destinations visited. The boat was way out of ratio from male to female also.
- Kris, 12/08/2025 04:33, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Kris, Thank you for taking the time to review your cruise with us this season. It is a shame to read that you felt the option you booked did not meet your expectations. We offer a wide range of different ship types to suit everyones budgets, offering different levels of accommodation and comfort. For example, our Premier ship cabins, offering spacious cabins with ensuite bathrooms and AC. I wanted to provide some more information on the decision to change the itinerary during your cruise. I can see that due to unfavourable weather, it was reported that the Captain did need to make some changes to the itinerary, I'm afraid. Due to the increase in wind and rocky seas, a swim stop was also not possible due to safety reasons. Our Captains are responsible for the safety of both the vessel and all guests onboard, and in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, they may adjust the itinerary if necessary to maintain this. I'm pleased to see that after missing Hvar earlier in the week, the Captain made sure to make this stop later during your cruise so that guests did not miss out on visiting this destination. Although some changes needed to be made due to the weather in Croatia, I can confirm that all other destinations were visited as per your itinerary, and just Mljet was skipped as a result of bad weather. We have a rigorous process in place for handling any issues that may arise whilst you are on the sail, which is included in the Pre-departure information emailed to you before the tour. I can see from our reporting that you did not raise any issues with your Sail Croatia Representative whilst you were on board Mala Kate, which is a shame as our crew could have organised additional cleaning of your cabin and emptying of bins. We have reached out to you directly to discuss your feedback further, Kris. Thank you, Cayley
This was our second Sail Croatia experience, and it was just as fantastic as the first. The crew was exemplary, and special thanks must go to our wonderful Cruise Director, Ana. Her attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm ensured every aspect of our trip was a memorable adventure. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sail Croatia to anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable holiday. The only minor issue we encountered was with the cabin allocation. While this didn't detract significantly from our overall enjoyment, a more thoughtful approach to cabin assignments could have elevated the experience from a four-star cruise to a truly exceptional one.

The beautiful ship. The amazing swim stops. The clean and spacious cabins. The ‘welcome on board’ canapés. The opportunity to experience some beautiful, picturesque islands. The Captains dinner. The itinerary. Mio & the lovely cleaning lady who cleaned our cabins. Only having 14 guests on board. Room for improvement:: The staff could be more friendly (except Mio and the cleaning lady - they couldn’t do enough for you); there should be more fish served as part of our lunches as we are out at sea and in the Adriatic! The lunches were lovely but certainly could be improved; the breakfasts and fresh fruit needed to be replenished as you were scared of having too much and not leaving enough for other passengers. It was not clear that you could have more. The chief female waitress in my opinion didn’t want to be there and that was more than obvious at times. As there was only 14 guests on board, it felt like most of the crew were ‘on a jolly’ and did not make enough effort to satisfy.
- Anonymous, 05/08/2025 08:53, Travelled with Friend/s
We really enjoyed the itinerary and The Esperanza was very well maintained. However some issues need addressing. The staff don’t appear to be very happy in their work place. Deck hands rarely smiled, the waitress in the salon was at times most inappropriate and borderline rude. It’s not every day you hear the F word or gestures using an arms whilst talking to passengers. So totally unprofessional and disrespectful to the Captain.. We appreciate that crew are able to go ashore for free time but please don’t tell the passengers that drinking of alcohol was consumed whilst ashore and then come onto deck to work; Safely for guests and crew surely should be paramount. The salon steward Mio went above and beyond to make every moment a pleasurable experience. The food lacked any wow factor, breakfast tepid, cold ravioli not nice, lettuce leaves as a salad, fruit bowl not replenished until we complained Only 14 guests in total and that shouldn’t mean less effort.. Representive did his job.

This is a trip to recommend for several reasons, the itinerariy is superb. Ivana our host could not have been better and the crew is fantastic. There is always room to improve on A few things like breakfast, the village dinner, but all in all very good
- Gustavo, 29/07/2025 05:12, Travelled with Family
Marin made the week as great as possible. Disappointing about Hvar situation but he improvised well. Super easy going & knowledgeable host makes your time as stress free & enjoyable as possible. Food was slightly disappointing after seeing/hearing about the other boats.
- Kane, 25/07/2025 09:56, Travelled with Friend/s
Make travel from boat to club/port/city centre etc included in the overall fair, or inform customer of these costs, pre-departure. Give a selection of restaurants for the customers to vote on to eat together. The restaurants chosen for use were very expensive were there were cheaper options available. Have the BBQ dinner included in the price paid for the week, not as an additional expense.
- Ethan, 23/07/2025 15:25, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Ethan, Thank you for taking the time to review your cruise with us this summer - we are so pleased to have you on board! Yes, your onboard Representative will certainly make recommendations on where to eat your evening meals. Guests are given the freedom to dine at the suggested locations or choose somewhere else if they prefer. Additional costs are detailed in the Pre-Departure Information sent to guests one week prior to departure. It is important to us that we set the right expectations for travellers, ensuring they can budget appropriately. Please rest assured that guest feedback is very important to us, and the suggestion on the BBQ will be passed on to the relevant teams so that we can make improvements where necessary. Thank you for a fantastic week in Croaita!
Our time on board the ship and during the cycling cruise was fantastic. The ship's crew was friendly and professional. Our cycling guides, Tonka and Sanja, were excellent, fun, and took us to many wonderful places. They also made numerous recommendations that were very helpful and enjoyable. My only criticism was for communication with the Sail Croatia personnel. It was difficult to find out which boat you were assigned to because that information was buried in a specific email link. I also asked about storage on the bicycles since they had racks and was told there was none. There were panniers provided and I did not need the backpack I had bought based on the misinformation.
- William, 08/07/2025 18:56, Travelled with Friend/s
Being able to cycle and see the places we visited with local knowledge guides. E Bikes makes it much easier and open to a wide variety of abilities. Stopping at every port and trying out local restaurants was also nice.
- Mark , 27/06/2025 04:46, Travelled with Friend/s
The tour guides Ivan and Lucija made the trips wonderful and unforgettable. Thank you.. It would have been a 5-stars tour if the breakfast varies daily, the ship is stocked with shampoo and the bed mattress is thicker. The staff on board were wonderful. The tour was well organized and the bikes were fantastic. Beach towels were not provided either.. It would have been very nice if these are provided as well.
- Roger, 18/06/2025 15:37, Travelled with Friend/s
The locations and crew were outstanding. Our guides Mario and Marin were full of knowledge and stressed safe riding. The crew on the boat were also very good. The booking process was less than stellar. My son and I were assigned a room with one double bed, not two singles. Since are large people, it did not work. He slept under the bed. Booking knew the assignment but would not/could not change it. Serious screw up by the office staff.
- Larry, 30/05/2025 15:08, Travelled with Family
Hi Larry, thank you for your review and for your kind words about our guides and crew – we’re delighted you enjoyed the overall experience. We regret to read about your booking experience. As outlined in our FAQs, cabin types vary by ship and are based on 2 people sharing – with configurations including twin beds, bunk beds, or one double bed. Whilst preferences can be requested at booking, we cannot guarantee specific layouts due to each ship’s unique cabin setup and limited availability. Final cabin allocations are confirmed a week before departure. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again.
The boat was immaculate. A credit to the skipper and crew. The guides Mika and Lola were fantastic.
- Warwick , 28/05/2025 10:50, Travelled with Family
1) Smaller group! With that many riders (32) the faster riders, some of whom would have ridden even faster if allowed, spent way too much time waiting for the slower riders. This was the case on the uphills, the downhills, and the level rides. People ride at different speeds, regardless of terrain or type of bike. 2) Longer, full-day rides. One day was only 10 km, which is ridiculous.
- Anonymous, 27/05/2025 05:58, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your review and share your feedback following your recent Cycle Cruise with us. We're always grateful to hear from our guests, as it helps us continuously improve the experience we offer. We're sorry to hear that the group size and varying riding speeds impacted your enjoyment. Our Cycle Cruises are designed as guided group experiences, and as such, we aim to accommodate a wide range of cycling abilities. To manage this, each ride is led by two experienced guides—one at the front and one at the back—ensuring no one is left behind and that the group remains safe and supported throughout the journey. We appreciate your comments regarding the distance of some rides. Please note that all daily itineraries, including ride durations and distances, are made available in advance of booking. This allows guests to choose the trip that best matches their expectations and ability. Some days do feature shorter rides for safety, logistical, or scenic reasons, and all routes are carefully risk assessed to suit the group setting. While we understand that some guests may prefer longer or more individually tailored rides, our Cycle Cruises are intentionally designed as shared adventures—focused on group camaraderie, support, and exploration at a pace suitable for a diverse range of participants. That said, we do value your input and will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to refine our itineraries and offerings. We thank you again and we hope to welcome you again in the future on another journey!
The ship was in great shape and the Captain very skilled. the crew worked hard to make our week a fun/safe time and they succeeded. However, meals are a big part of our annual boat and bike trips. Here they failed. The meals were far too heave generally and the BBQ night was substandard with much meat and few veggies...and they were buried under all that meat. The meal was awful. Equally as bad was the captains dinner of steak that was unchewable...oh, the coffee was worse than any I had in the Navy and I didnt thimk that woukd ever be possible...undrinkable sludge..this boat & bike towr tour 7th as a group. It was the also the first to not put out a nice happy hour food spread...only pretzels and biscuits. All in all, I won't recommend this trip .
- Dennis, 21/05/2025 13:13, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for taking the time to review us! We’re delighted to hear that you found our Captain very skilled, our crew hardworking, and the ship in a great condition. It’s always rewarding to know our team contributed to a safe and enjoyable experience. We're truly sorry to learn that the food during the Captain's dinner and BBQ did not meet your expectations. We understand how important meals are in shaping the overall travel experience. Your comments regarding the menu containing too much meat and poor quality of coffee are especially valuable, and we’ll be sharing them with our team as we work to refine and expand our offerings to better cater to a wider range of dietary preferences and expectations. While we regret that your experience didn't leave you feeling confident to recommend us based on the meals provided, we appreciate your honesty. Feedback like yours plays a crucial role in helping us to improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future with enhancements that reflect your input.

Beautiful islands, clear water, great crew & comfortable accommodations.

Great experience meeting a number of people from around the world. Crew did a fantastic job ensuring we were kept safe and answered all of our needs. Well done. Klara our cruise director did an outstanding job keeping us informed and did everything she could to ensure we were taken care of regardless of the time. Highly recommended
- James, 12/05/2025 17:08, Travelled with Family
The staff could not have been more helpful, the guides were knowledgeable and were quick to make changes when the weather demanded it. However charging €40 for a bottle of sparkling wine that retails at £6 is outrageous.
- Colin, 12/05/2025 10:14, Travelled with Family
The cruise was great. This survey is a pia. I had written a glowing review but the program erased it because I didn't want to include my name. So there you go.
- Morpheous, 09/05/2025 13:34, Travelled with Friend/s
We were a group of friends (8) who joined Sail Croatia for the Dubrovnik to Split 7 day cruise. The cabins were comfortable, the bathroom more spacious than the normal cruise ship. With only 40 people onboard I was concerned that we would be in each others pockets. There is more than enough space onboard to ensure you can read a book quietly if you want. The staff on our cruise (Salve de Mere) were supurb, from the maid throufg to the Captain, we were all in excellent hands. I loved the fact that we docked in small ports each night so we could enjoy local restaurants and bars. Each morning we stopped for a swim...as it was late season a few of us decamped to the jaquizzi where we had pre lunch cocktails...great fun! Each afternoon we were given options of excursions we could take, from walking and exploring, to bike rides and wine tasting. I would probably give the Buggies a miss as you travel in convoy at about 20kms per hour...very boring and a waste of money..
- Simon, 23/10/2024 11:31, Travelled with Friend/s
Wonderful ship and crew were very accommodating.
- Anonymous, 22/10/2024 08:27, Travelled with Friend/s
The crew was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. We were kept informed on a daily meeting about changes and weather situations concerning our travels. V our guide was great, suggesting restaurants and other things about the Croatia people. I would choose to do this trip again. It was a vacation of a lifetime! Most people were not happy that coffee couldn't be have after 9:00 am.
- Rick, 10/10/2024 17:24, Travelled with Friend/s
Our tour hosts Ivan and Lucija were wonderful hard working guides. Thanks. Lucy and the rest of the kitchen staff were amazing. Thanks. The ship, crew and captain were amazing. Thanks. To be at a beautiful Croatian port, on the Adriatic sea in the morning and not allowed to have any type of coffee on the ship till 7:30 is a sad fact.
- Rob, 09/10/2024 16:36, Travelled with Friend/s
Staff was great. Especially Klara and Pamela. We enjoyed the swim stops and island stops. The meals were so so too much fish for my liking. They’ve in our room didn’t work for 1/2 the week. The tours were great, Capains dinner/dance and wine tours as well I would include gratuity in the price and/or arrange for credit card payments for on board liquor purchases for some people I spoke to were surprised they needed so much euros at the end of the trip which may have an effect on gratuity’s We would highly recommend Sail Croatia to anyone that asks us
- Rick, 08/10/2024 13:54, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Rick, thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the swim stops, island visits, excursions and Captain's Dinner, and we appreciate your compliments about Klara and Pamela. Our chefs always aim to provide a variety of exciting dishes, however we understand that tastes can differ. Your comments will be passed on to our culinary team. Regarding gratuities, we want to clarify that tipping is entirely optional and at our guests' discretion. While we provide guidance for those who inquire, there’s no pressure, and any amount is appreciated by our crew. Thank you for your recommendations, and we hope to welcome you aboard again soon!
Swim stops were cancelled due to weather without consulting passengers. Some activities were cancelled either because of equipment malfunction. A better hostess would be good.
- Malcolm , 07/10/2024 06:54, Travelled with Family
Hi Malcolm - thank you for your review. We're glad to hear you found us to be a good company to travel with. For everyone's safety, we were sorry to see that a swim stop wasn't possible due to the unusually poor weather conditions, and we understand this affected your experience. We’re pleased to see that the hostess received all 5-star reviews for your departure. Once again thank you for your feedback.
Lots of great people on this trip including two great guides and the ships crew. The biking was challenging and fun though 32 people are rather a lot to organize. The boat was not as good as we hoped, but probably our fault as we thought we had gone premium plus rather than premium. Cabins were very small and the food was OK but not great.
- Peter, 02/10/2024 23:12, Travelled with Friend/s
Good communication before trip. Attentive staff during our trip. Nice hand off after our trip.
- Paul, 30/09/2024 14:35, Travelled with Friend/s
Firstly I would like to point out I have absolutely no issues with the staff whatsoever - they each deserve 5 stars as they were all so welcoming and helpful throughout the trip. Special mention for Marin, the best host we could have asked for arranged some great nights and made sure everyone was included. My main issue was that the week was poor value for money, the food was ok but I have to mention the BBQ night, 25 euro for what can only be described as a car crash. When I was offered it I was expecting a real bbq on the port but no - the meats (poor quality I’ll add) were grilled in the usual kitchen not on any sort of bbq - genuinely left me feeling ripped off. Drinks on the boat are extremely expensive for what they are, poor quality sprits other than real JD, and still charging full price. Excursions are overpriced we did the canyoning and it was not worth 75 euros at all. Any transfers to ports clubs or bars are always charged and EVERYTHING is cash only - disappointing.

The cabins were cold and the first nigt on board the boat we could hardly sleep due to the chill in the cabin. We could not control the tempreture in the cabin. The cabin had lower standard than we expected. The food served on board was not good.Breakfast was good but lunch and grill could have been better.. I had the feeling during the trip that we were alwayes in a hurry. and the cykling tours not relaxed. Not much time for fotos or to observe the scenery etc. Nevertheless we enjoyed the trip. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times.
- Pall, 26/09/2024 17:53, Travelled with Family
Hi Pall, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your trip and found our staff friendly and helpful, though we're sorry to learn that some aspects didn't meet your expectations. Regarding the temperature in your cabin, we’d like to mention that the AC units onboard also have a heating function. Our Onboard Rep would have been more than happy to assist with this, had they been made aware of your discomfort. We appreciate your feedback on the meals. While breakfast met expectations, we'll pass your comments on to our team regarding the lunches served. In terms of the cycling pace, our Cycle cruises are designed for the more active traveler who enjoys a faster-paced itinerary. However, for those seeking a more relaxed experience with plenty of time to take in the scenery and capture photos, we offer other options such as our Explorer or Elegance cruises. These might be more suited to a leisurely travel experience in the future. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to welcome you back onboard soon for another adventure.
We did a Sail Croatia hike trip. Sail Croatia knew ahead of time some of the people were unable to hike but were interested in the islands we were visiting to see the towns and the history. I would have expected that the coordinators would have given suggestions for things to do and historical information. If you weren't hiking you received limited attention.

Had a great trip. Anthony and Matea were wonderful Captain and host.

Best way to see Croatia by Boat and Bike. Biking tge islands on ebikes is the only way to go!!! Fantastic. Staff and Crew were awesome. Food was Great. Chef was awesome and full of exuberance. I only downgraded to 4 stars due to Cabin comfort. Need better air circulation and climate control for sleeping.
- John, 23/09/2024 10:06, Travelled with Friend/s
I was very happy with the tour. The crew was happy going and all operations were smooth, The guides were well qualified, engaged and expressed kindness towards the the guests every day of the tour. Indeed a very good experienced, the second time I go with Sail Croatia in the beautiful area. My suggestions are: 1) Slow down the bike tours, make more brief stops to enjoy the splendor of nature. 2) Make the diet more in accordance with environmental and dietary recommendation (less meat, more vegetables and fruits). Furthermore, take measures to reduce food wast. As a first step, measure the food waste on board and calculate how much it costs. 3) Express your concern for nature in the selections of all materials and operation; including detergents, sorting of waste, motor efficiency; even the use of sails when possible. 4) Improve considerably the quality of the coffee you serve. For many people a good cup of coffee makes even a rainy day bright and sunny.

Boat was pretty good, weather was rubbish, staff were very good but organisation needs some work! Lots of defects on the boat. Rain, thunder and lightning almost every day. The check in, shopping and hand over was utterly chaotic. Sail Croatia need to do a deal with the supermarket to take an order and deliver. There were hundreds of people, traffic chaos and no trolleys to be had.
- Nick Wilmshurst, 23/09/2024 06:45, Travelled with Friend/s
This is a well organised & experienced company who deliver what they claim. We visited scenic port villages, ate well, did some cycling (not as much as we wanted due to inclement weather) and made new friends from around the world. The crew & guides worked really hard to meet the varied needs of the guests.
- Frank, 19/09/2024 05:23, Travelled with Friend/s
No snacks and coffee service only a few hours a day? Also couldn’t get a beverage while band was playing? Boat lost revenue during entertainment because couldn’t access the bar
- John, 17/09/2024 05:00, Travelled with Family
Fabulous trip great meeting people worldwide the islands we stopped at were amazing tour was well a organised food was ok drinks were very expensive on the boat I think a lot more drinks would be served if this was not so excessive also hidden costs should be told up front paying for national parks and also the city tax was a lot more expensive than hotels city tax ?why ? we paid 3 times more than normal city tax when i questioned this I was told this was for staff for lifting bikes on and off ? is that not part of the holiday fees? need to be up front to people with all these charges shame only thing that put dampner on an exciting holiday
- mario, 15/09/2024 18:42, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Mario, Thank you for your recent 4 star review. I'm pleased to see you had a fabulous time on-board your recent Cycle Cruise, and you appreciated the organisation of the tour. We do advise on our FAQS, and also your Online Account that there is a "A local payment of 40 Euros per person is payable onboard your Sail Croatia Cruise. This payment incorporates port fees and tourist taxes throughout the week and is subject to change." so that is not a surprise to guests when on-board the cruise. Thank you for your feedback on the food and drinks, this is appreciated and will be passed onto our Operations Team. We do appreciate you as a valued customer of ours and are glad the feedback raised in your review did not deter you from having a great time on board. We hope to welcome you again in the future!
- Justin , 11/09/2024 08:40, Travelled with Family
A. Make aircondition in cabin to work. B. Reduce information from the Cycling guide. Too much Information for the next day. C. More time to swim during time on board from one port to another D. We all had electric bikes. The Cycling was shorter Than expected.
- Henning, 09/09/2024 13:46, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Henning, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely value all input, as it helps us improve and ensure that our trips meet the diverse expectations of our guests. We understand that you felt the cycling routes were shorter than expected and that there could have been more opportunities for swim stops. We aim to balance both activities in a way that suits the varying preferences of our guests, but we appreciate your thoughts and will certainly take them into consideration. Regarding the information provided by the cycle guide, it’s our goal to ensure that all guests have the context and details they need for a safe and enjoyable experience. However, we understand that preferences for information can vary, and we will review how we can provide a balance between giving useful details while not overwhelming our guests. Upon checking our internal reports, there were no reports of issues regarding the air-conditioning in your cabin. We have a rigorous process in place for any issues that arise onboard, which is outlined in your pre-departure information. Following this process ensures that no incident is left unreported and gives us the best chance to resolve this during the cruise for you. Your feedback is invaluable to us so we do thank you for taking the time to provide it. We hope to welcome you back on another adventure soon.
The combination of riding to touring was great. Last couple of days would have been nice to have some more cycling but I recognize this is dictated by the size of the island.
- Ian, 02/09/2024 12:17, Travelled with Friend/s
The crew was amazing. From Andre our server to Matek and Christiana the sailors, everyone was friendly, helpful and competent. The cabins were small and cramped. Not much storage space. But we were only in our cabins to sleep or shower. Katarina and Mila were excellent cycling guides. Meals were substantial- no need to ever go hungry! It would be great if there was some decent coffee at breakfast. The coffee was terrible! The cycling was made easier with the e-assist bikes. One suggestions is to divide the cycling groups. Those on e bikes and those on standard bikes. Those on e bikes were always waiting for the standard cyclists to catch up. It felt like we were constantly interrupting our ride.

The bedrooms for 3 people are just not big enough. The other people on the boat ruined my experience and expectations. Only good thing to come out of this trip was the bartender who was amazing
- Nathan , 26/08/2024 02:40, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Nathan, thank you for taking the time to provide us with your review and feedback regarding your recent Sail Croatia Navigator cruise. It is wonderful to hear that your bartender was amazing and he was the highlight of the trip for you! We will be sure to let him know. We clearly advise our travellers when booking a Triple bed cabin that these are the same size as twin share hence why we offer 10% discount when a Triple bed cabin is booked. Thank you again for your feedback.
The tour guide needs to be more involved with the people on the boat. I understand that they might have been doing this for weeks already but the guide is the person who drives the moral on the ship, if they don’t want to get involved and leave it up to the group to make our own experience that is poor. Lucky the group of people I went on with was amazing and that alone is what made my trip. Certain experiences were cancelled months before we went on the boat and had no prior warning to these cancelations which for me were the only reasons why I signed up for sail Croatia. If Sail Croatia had known about the issues on Hvaar and Markaska then months before the boat had set sail an email should have been sent out to people and offered refunds for trips. It borderlines on a scam that people were sold an idea that was never going to be delivered.
- Alexander , 23/08/2024 11:11, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Alexander, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on your recent Navigator Cruise. We appreciate hearing about your experience, and we are always striving to improve our services. We welcome your comments regarding our representative, so thank you for this. Please note that bars and nightclubs are not part of our cruise inclusions and are beyond our control. However, your feedback is valuable to us as we continually look to enhance the overall guest experience. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you on board again in the future!
We had a nice trip on kingfisher. Our captain and hostess were nice and helpful on making our trip enjoyable. Thank you for a fun trip. A few recommendations yo improve the experience: 1. Please tell the guests to bring more cash for mooring fees and dinners. 2. It would be nice to spend the last night on an island vs split. You can just move check out to 10 am and that would really be a nice way to end the trip. 3. The 42 Lagoon catamaran only has 3 cabins if you use a skipper so that is an important description item as the skipper takes one of the cabins. When they sold us the catamaran they sold it to us as if it could sleep 8 people which is incorrect. It can only sleep 6 guests with a skipper.
- Jean , 22/08/2024 16:52, Travelled with Family
Dear Jean, Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience on Kingfisher. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip and found the skipper and hostess helpful. We appreciate your recommendations and we agree that bringing extra cash is a good idea for mooring fees and dining, so that guests can prepare accordingly - we also outline this in our Pre-departure information provided. While we understand the desire to spend the last night on an island, late check-out is not possible due to the extensive safety checks and cleaning required before the next departure. Our website correctly states that this vessel has 4 cabins that can accommodate 8 guests. It's common in the sailing industry, particularly in Croatia, for the crew to use the salon area as a double bed if all cabins are occupied by guests. Thank you again for your valuable input, and we hope to welcome you on board again in the future.
Our boat was a huge let down, we were told when we booked that we would be on a boat with more people than we actually had, we were also shown photos of a boat that was MUCH nicer than the one we were put on. We had no deck chairs/loungers on the top of ours so there wasn’t a space to fully relax an unwind. Almost zero shade on top as well so the only place to lay and relax was in bed which was uncomfortable as well. One shower for 24 people (plus crew), and you had to hold the shower head as it had nothing to mount to. The bed wasn’t big enough for me to lay in so every night while sleeping I had to scrunch my body up, it was also extremely hot below deck while trying to sleep this made it more difficult to get a good nights sleep. Overall it was a let down, if I were to do it again I would want to go on a boat that should actually be in operation, unlike the mala Kate which is what we were on. If it weren’t for the great people I was with then it wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
- Tom, 19/08/2024 07:31, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Tom, Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear you met some great people on your cruise and we hope you enjoyed Croatia as a whole. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. The ship you booked is part of our Standard category, which is our most budget-friendly option. For guests seeking more comfort and amenities, we offer higher-category ships at different price points. We strive to provide clear information on our website, including photos and details for each ship category. We appreciate your comments, thank you.
We had a lovely time on board the Morpheus from 15th of July till 22nd. The holiday started a bit unfortunate due to a delay of our flight and as a consequence our luggage arrived a day later than expected. Our skipper Marco suggested an alternative route which made we could easily collect our luggage the following day from Trogir. We had a lovely trip, enjoyed the islands, Marco suggested a nice itinerary which suited our family needs. He was discrete when we wanted it and available when we needed it. Overall, a wonderful experience, definitely also thanks to Marco's professional attitude. We will definitely do this again. Best regards, Koen, Veerle, Lucas, Ella and Tess
- Veerle, 28/07/2024 14:50, Travelled with Family
I was told a couple weeks before our sail that unfortunately I was being put in a double bed with another male. I sent several emails back and forth and their response was always “it’s in the FAQs” and they couldn’t help me so bad luck. When I arrived to the ship I found out there was serval couples staying in 2 x single beds so the issue could have been resolved if they actually wanted to. Also they allowed a group of 20 friends/couples to book the ship (40 on the ship) (also a group of 7 so 13 people were strangers) It ruined everyone’s trip because they weren’t there to make New friends they were there to party with old ones and they had the monopoly on every thing in terms of dinners and that. It really ruined the vibe because everyone felt on the outside because they would take over the ship and leave the rest out, we made our own fun but would be nice. Very disappointing overall, the crew and rep were 5 starts but management side before the ship has sailed in the downfall.
- Daniel, 26/07/2024 07:54, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your feedback, Daniel. We are pleased to hear the crew and rep were 5 stars however, we are are sorry to hear that your overall experience did not meet your expectations. As per our email correspondence, our FAQs and ship pages outline that bed configurations on our Navigator cruises can include double beds, and bedding configurations are not guaranteed at the time of booking. We understand how this situation might be disappointing, however, we aim to make this transparent via our website to avoid any disappointment and to set expectations. We also offered alternative cruise dates with waived cancellation fees to accommodate your preferences, but these options were not taken up. All the couples were in double bedded cabins. Regarding the group bookings, we strive to balance the needs of all guests, and we regret that this impacted your enjoyment. We are pleased that the overall customer feedback rating for your week onboard was 4.62/5 stars. Your feedback is important to us, and this is appreciated.
The guides and boat staff where welcoming and fun to be with and being with like minded people

Great combination of bike time, boat time, and town time with friends old and new. Croatia is a beautiful country to visit. Guides and Crew were excellent.
- Trefor, 26/06/2024 17:10, Travelled with Friend/s
if you have a group of bikers and non-bikers, and want enough biking and cruising and hiking and walking for everyone, the cycle cruise is just the right mix. We found ourselves never really needing more of any one thing (especially food). The staff was amazing and really do everything they can to make sure you are always comfortable.
- Eliot, 24/06/2024 12:39, Travelled with Friend/s
Overall the trip was excellent. However if you look into the fine details then you can find major issues. For example tipping policy is terrible ad should be scrapped. Company say one figure staff say a different figure and service you receive is not worth either amount. Some staff’s appearance could improve especially first thing in the morning at breakfast. Sail Croatia and crew of Jelena, have forgotten who the customer is, in respect of, a customer works hard to save money to go on holiday and we are all suffering with cost of living being expensive no different to the crew. Excellent on the face but poor in detail
- Pau, 18/06/2024 04:59, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Paul, thank you for taking the time to provide your 4-star review. We are pleased to hear that you found the trip overall to be excellent, which is also reflected in the overall cruise rating of 4.8/5 stars. Our tipping policy is clearly outlined on our website and in pre-departure documents, and we apologise for any miscommunication that occurred during your cruise. Please be assured that we have addressed this issue to prevent any future confusion. Additionally, we appreciate your comments regarding staff appearance and service quality, especially during breakfast. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will use it to improve our services and ensure our team meets the high standards we strive for. Thank you for choosing to travel with Sail Croatia.
Great Staff great ship .

Beautiful locations, the scenery was amazing. The E-bikes were a revelation it was as easy or as hard as you wanted it to be. The staff and boat crew were very friendly and hospitable. Wonderful way to spend a week in the Adriatic.

What we liked about Sail Croatia: The boat was beautiful and the staff was courteous and helpful. We enjoyed the overnight stays, and the optional UNESCO dinner. What we did not like about Sail Croatia:: The hot tub was not hot, lukewarm at best. Meals choices were limited if you did not like the day’s meals you were out of luck as there were no other choice. No activities or music on board other than a swim stop (weather permitting). The included traditional dinner venue was nice but the food was too bland for our taste. The bar staff charged our account for a bottle of wine and several drinks that we did not order. They need a better accounting system for the onboard liquor. This cruise is better suited for people who want it quiet and with minimum people. For people who enjoy lounging in the sun reading books as there is little else to do when you are onboard. This type of cruise is not for us.
- Anonymous, 09/06/2024 18:27, Travelled with Friend/s
We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your beautiful ship, that you found the staff helpful onboard, and that the overnight stays were a memorable experience! We're sorry to hear that some elements of the cruise weren't as you expected. A daily buffet breakfast and 3-course lunch are included daily on all cruises. Set menus allow the onboard chef to prepare meals to a high standard using fresh, local ingredients. Unfortunately due to the size of the galley onboard our luxury small ships, an a la carte menu is not possible, however we are more than happy to accommodate dietary requirements. Unlike large cruise liners, Sail Croatia cruises are all about experiencing an authentic side of Croatia onboard luxury small ships, being shown the secrets of this incredible country by local, welcoming staff and experiencing culture, food and historical sights with like-minded travellers. Our cruises dock overnight in each destination, bringing guests into the midst of each town/harbour by mid-afternoon. After enjoying breakfast and lunch onboard, relaxing at a swim stop and cruising towards your next destination, ships are docked along the waterfront, ensuring guests are able to explore each destination at their leisure, participate in optional activities or indulge in local cuisine in one of the local restaurants.
Our guide Anita did an amazing job and displayed a lot of care and made sure that everyone was comfortable and were having a good time. Anton and his crew were extremely welcoming towards us. The itinerary was well thought out and locations were unreal.

Great Crew and hostess Mia were outstanding. Minor problems: AC went out last few days though. Need a stronger band width for Wifi. Very spotty reception. All in all a good cruise was had by my wife and I and the couple we came with.
- Dale, 17/10/2023 06:03, Travelled with Family
Hi Dale, thank you for your 4-star review. We appreciate your kind comments on the crew and hostess Mia, and we will surely pass this on. We understand that there were minor issues with the air-conditioning which was swiftly resolved upon arrival in to Dubrovnik. WIFI is subject to download limits and coverage, so can be spotty at times. We are pleased that that you all had a wonderful time overall, and we hope to welcome you back onboard soon.
Our guides Evichia and Tonka were fantastic. Always accommodating and available to answer questions and address concerns.
- Paul, 11/10/2023 14:10, Travelled with Friend/s
The trip was an excellent value. The guides were good and the bikes were in great shape. Next time I do this trip it will not be in a below-deck cabin. My only other complaint is the dining salon is small and very noisy when full. It was much better when we could expand to the tables outside.
- Gordon, 10/10/2023 13:29, Travelled with Friend/s
Great staff, beautiful boat. Our cabin was unusually small compared to others on our cruise - even single person cabins were significantly larger, notably the shower. Cabins need more hooks or places to dry things. Food on the cruise was great - though breakfast could have had more variety. Itinerary took us to fantastic locations. Wish we could have spent more time exploring the locales on our own. Our cruise director Mia was spectacular! The two group events on the boat needed some help. The cocktail hour on the top deck was lit with horrible emergency lighting and not conducive to a party atmosphere. The captain's dinner concept was nice, but we would have preferred to eat in a local village restaurant, The entertainment at the captain's dinner was clearly skewed to an older audience and half the room left before the music was finished. But overall we really enjoyed our experience.

Thank you for taking the time to review your cruise with us this summer. I'm so pleased to read you were happy with the fantastic destinations you visited, it was a pleasure to have you join us on board. Thank you for your kind comments regarding your representative Mia - we will be sure to pass these along as it is nice to be appreciated. Thank you for your further feedback which has been passed on to the relevant departments. Thank you again for joining us.
Good routes. Local knowledge was good. Variety of sights.

- Anonymous, 19/09/2023 08:57, Travelled with Friend/s
The whole "package" was quite good. Guides, bar/food and of course the rest of the crew. As we had a lot with Maria and both in the bar, I just want to say that these were unbelievably nice and talented people. But breakfast could have been somewhat more varied. We were on MS P Diana.
- Tor Arne, 18/09/2023 14:27, Travelled with Friend/s
The assortment of food on the boat for breakfast and lunch was excellent. The variety of terrain and vistas was equally as satisfying. Our accommodations were perfect for our needs. The only negative for the journey was the smell of cigarette smoke at times on the boat, especially at meal times. It was a second-hand, drifting issue but bothersome none the less. Would absolutely recommend a trip of this type to others.

Good organization of bike trips
- Carol, 18/09/2023 09:44, Travelled with Friend/s
Booked based on Explorer being best suited for couples, young professionals and 'young at heart' travellers. Didn’t expect at 44, to be the second youngest guest, with the majority being 70s. The boat was fine, the bedroom smelled a bit damp and there were broken fixtures in the bathroom. The crew were great, and very friendly. Disappointed the sundeck bar / bbq area wasn’t used. Also, the ‘€25 bbq’ which was cooked in the oven was a poor offering, and unsurprisingly didn’t go ahead. All in all, I had a great time, but had I have been much younger, would’ve been disappointed with so many older guests.
- Jonathon , 18/09/2023 09:23, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Jonathon, Thank you for your feedback. It's great to know that the crew were friendly and welcoming, however we are disappointed to hear the ages onboard were misaligned with your expectations. Our Explorer cruises are designed to offer a diverse and inclusive experience for travelers of all ages over 15 years. Whilst we do attract a wide range of guests, including young professionals and the 'young at heart' travellers, age demographics can vary from one cruise to another. We aim to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, and we're glad to hear you had a great time onboard. We'll take note of your comments regarding room conditions and food offerings to further enhance our services, and we appreciate your feedback provided for the onboard meals, rating us 4-5 out of 5 stars, thank you. We hope you'll consider cruising with us again in the future.
Stephanie was amazing. She cooked, cleaned and made us feel very spoilt. She went shopping and always took care of our needs. This really made the trip very comfortable and an easy holiday. Tony was a great skipper with excellent knowledge of the country and coast. Great tips and locations with lots of flexibility and opportunities for spare of the moment activities. The boat is brand new and everything works well. Good layout and lots of space to sprawl out on the 7 day trip.

- Ryan, 14/09/2023 12:54, Travelled with Friend/s
The skipper made our holiday as he listened to what we hoped to get out of trip & every day he raised the bar. His knowledge of area was outstanding.
- Jeremy, 13/09/2023 10:17, Travelled with Friend/s
Different crew, more organisation, better food and to actually go to the planned destinations. Not be lied to by the captain and made to pay for the bbq when told there is no restaurants and then when we arrive at the destination there were a lot of restaurants. Drink prices are too high as well. Cleaner rooms and the air cons need to be cleaned out
- Lachlan, 11/09/2023 08:08, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Lachlan, thank you for taking the time to review your cruise with us this season. Feedback is important to us, so I will be sure to pass on the comments you have raised, thank you for this. I understand it can be frustrating when there are changes to an itinerary, however this is at the Captain's discretion and usually due to safety reasons, which is our number one priority. Thank you for joining us.
Had a great week on Sail on the boat Afrodita! Great way to see beautiful parts of Croatia and meet people from all walks of life. The crew and tour manager were all excellent. The bar tab method could be improved significantly and at least one room clean should be provided during this period. Would definitely recommend but some room for improvement.
- Nouzar, 24/08/2023 12:44, Travelled with Friend/s
We were travelling with 7 friends on a boat of 30. The crew and staff were wonderful and the itinerary was amazing. If you plan on spending a relaxing 7 days this Sail isn’t for you, it’s a more of a 7 day bender with no let up. Our fellow sail mates were great fun and people on other boats also made the trip one to remember. However, the rooms and bathrooms were tiny, the free breakfast is irrelevant as no one is ever awake for it and the lunches were what I would describe as a 3rd world counties school camp. I would definitely recommend trying a KJU while you’re in Croatia!
- Ben, 21/08/2023 16:53, Travelled with Friend/s
Enjoyable experience with friends. Crew and staff were great!
- Josh, 21/08/2023 16:48, Travelled with Friend/s
A great combination of fun and relaxation. Our vessel was captains by Danny who did an amazing job each day and made the trip that much better. The beautiful beach stops, hanging out with other boats, we’re my favourite. The things that require improvements to me are: Boat had no cooling - on :32 degree days and 26 degree nights there was no way to escape the heat. The boat needs a few upgrades, such as fans in rooms or an air conditioner , the speaker system wasn’t working properly. Then there was the few little things that made it disappointing, such as the sail only was put up once. The activities weren’t something we were made aware of until the last day.. €85 to go on a zip line.. and then all other activities like the punch party - just a cup of juice on the side of the road. The cave party - just a bar in a cave White and blue night - didn’t happen? Other than that, it was great and would recommend it to everyone :)

Hi there Sean, thank you for your review and for taking the time to provide your feedback on your Flotilla Tour with us this summer, it was a pleasure to have you join us. We are so happy to read you had a wonderful time and you would recommend the tour, this is fantastic! I will be sure to pass your kind words onto Danny. Feedback is important to us, so we do appreciate this from you and it will be passed onto the relevant teams. I believe some inclusions, like the Blue & White Party you may have read on the Navigator Cruise page as this is not an inclusion on the Flotilla Tour. Thanks again for a great week on board.
- Lachlan, 16/08/2023 10:14, Travelled with Friend/s
The bike/ sail cruise was great overall, what made the trip was our tour leaders Marija and Andrej. They were extremely friendly, outgoing and easy to connect with, they provided local recommendations of what to do and where to go. Also, the group of people on the boat were great, a slightly older crowd that knew how to have fun and connect with each other. The food on the boat was average which I expected it would be, definitely needs more attention. The bikes were in great condition without any faults, exceeded my expectation. The room was okay however bathroom needs a detailed clean and the shower curtain had mould. A little disappointed that our first day riding got cancelled due to rain and also advised it was a public holiday, so we stayed in spilt for the night. The public holiday should have been worked around in advance for an alternative, understand about the rain issue. Paying for drinks in cash was annoying, I would have bought more if able to pay on credit card.
- Vince, 14/08/2023 07:14, Travelled with Friend/s
We though sail Croatia was good value for money but later found better boats for way cheaper. Disappointed in the service, cleanliness and food . Room floor was not washed once, luckily small and washed ourself. , The shower not cleaned once. Had to ask to change the linen, when we were informed that it will be changed on the Wednesday. It was eventually done on Thursday. Food quality of an old age home. Asked for double bed slept on two single beds. Later found that owner of ship children work on the boat. Thats maybe why! Stops on islands was however amazing and Boris / tour operator working for the boat was very helpful and assisting us with places to visit and Restaurants suggestions on the islands. The boat was way more expensive that a big cruise liner and does not justify the cost of this small boat travelling. When we got of the boat there was no farewell greeting by the staff or someone helping with the luggage. 😪😢.

Hi Pierre, thank you so much for taking the time to review your cruise with us this summer in Croatia. I am quite disappointed to read your review, especially as I can see guests from your week on board provided both positive reviews and feedback of their experience. In saying this, we do appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback and this will be passed on to our Operations Manager in Split, thank you for your points raised.
It was a great 7 days on the Queen Jelena and the schedule saw us visit fantastic islands from Split to Dubrovnik. We had a great crowd of people on our trip, and swim stops were amazing. Cabin was better than we anticipated. Food was bland and lacking vegetables and salads of any kind, soup on a 35 degree day is not ideal. There is an opportunity in this area. Our tour guide was pretty absent, apart from his lunch time speech, although he was humorous. Would recommend doing this trip.

The Yacht we chose was the cheapest available on the website. Common sense dictates that you are going to receive a lesser quality product. It was also a really hot week with temperatures constantly over 30 degrees. This was outside Sail Croatia's control. The issues were... #1 It is sold as a 7 night charter. Despite what we were told about possible early departure on day one we did not get off the dock until 6pm day one due to the boat not being ready. So day one does not exist. Then, you are expected back by 6pm on day 6 but you don't actually have to be off the boat by 8.30am day 7. In reality it is a 7 night 5 day charter. Disappointing. All charter boats should have bedroom fans. Sleep was impossible in the cabins as it was too hot at night.. 'We bought a fan at a marina. Various other things were disappointing but i only have 200 characters left. Nice people to deal with. Average product. Boat sold as 7 nights which leads you to believe at least 6 1/2 days, not 5 days as it was.
- Simon, 25/07/2023 06:14, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Simon, thank you for taking the time to write your review and provide us with your feedback. We do understand it is very hot in Croatia during the summer, especially during your sail. To help with the summer heat and offer more comfort, we do have in our offer yachts equipped with air-conditioning for travellers who prefer this option. Sea Legend, your chosen yacht as advertised doesn't come with air-conditioning. Check in and check out times are readily available on our website under FAQ's. We advise that early check-in may sometimes become available on the day of check-in if the yacht doesn't need to have any repairs or require additional cleaning from the previous charter. Sadly, early check-in wasn't available on your week. Check-out is at 8:30am on the day of check-out so we ask guests to return the night before to prevent delays with the check-out. Rigorous safety checks, repairs and cleaning must be completed before the yacht is ready for the next guests. This information is clearly outlined in our Booking Terms which must be read and accepted prior to booking. We thank you again for your time, your feedback and for travelling with us.
Great boat and great skipper. The air con did not always work as electricity variable. I would want one with a generator if I came back.
- Bruce , 25/07/2023 05:14, Travelled with Family
Hi Bruce, thank you so much for joining us this season in Croatia. We are so pleased to read you enjoyed your time on board Sundance and you were happy with your skipper, Mislav! I will be sure to pass your kind words onto him. We certainly recommend a vessel with a generator if you wish to have power and air-conditioning when you'e not hooked up to power from the marina. I can confirm the aic-con and electricity was always 'working', just not available to use without power as there is no generator on Sundance. Thanks for a fantastic week and we hope to see you again in the future.
Staff, food and company was very good. Our tour guide/instructor Ivana was excellent, knowledgeable, informative and very helpful. She did a great job.
- Domenic, 24/07/2023 17:28, Travelled with Friend/s
The staff and tour guide (Ivana) were fantastic and made the trip really great, also mixing it up with the young people was fantastic also. Cheers, Andrew
- Andrew, 24/07/2023 16:55, Travelled with Friend/s
The whole system was set in place to take money off people, the day trips were more expensive with the boat then they were if you organised it for yourself! The drinks were too expensive, the captain didn’t allow anything to be brought in the boat. Air con was not included and when paid for it didn’t work properly 75% of the time, we missed the best parts of Croatia and weren’t told about them because the day trips weren’t informative about anything! I would never recommend doing sails to anyone. I was disappointed with everything to do with the trip except our lovely crew member, Ioana! She was the only good thing to come out of the trip, she needs a raise! The food was good.
- Jack, 05/07/2023 10:58, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Jack, thank you for sharing your feedback with us regarding your recent Sail Croatia - Hideout Cruise. I will be sure to pass your comments and kind words regarding Ioana onto the team, she will be so pleased to hear this, so thank you for your kind words here. It is wonderful to also read you were happy with the food served on board. We are disappointed to hear that your experience did not match those of your fellow travellers onboard. I have checked the feedback collected for this departure, and we have received 5 Stars across both of our ships that departed on the Hideout Cruise. Our Standard and Ensuite ships have fans inside the cabins for additional ventilation and are more suited to the budget conscious traveller. For guests that prefer air-conditioning, our Premier ships are guaranteed to have AC in all cabins. The differences in ship categories are available on our website prior to booking with us. We have a comprehensive process in place to address any issues that may arise during your time onboard the cruise - this is provided via your pre-departure information and reiterated in the Welcome Speech. Our representatives are there to assist you with any concerns or challenges you may encounter. However, if you feel that your issue was not adequately resolved, we encourage you to escalate it to our Operations Manager and/or Managing Director. They will ensure that your concerns are thoroughly addressed and appropriate actions are taken. Thank you, Cayley.
Had such a good time, the crew were amazing and very friendly

It was a wonderful 7 day trip from Split to Dobrovnik with stops at several islands. Weather fantastic, scenery breathtaking, people so friendly. The cabins were clean and spacious and the food on board excellent. A wonderful way to see Croatia for the first time.
- Ian , 27/06/2023 06:54, Travelled with Friend/s
The bar service needs changing, I was charged for drinks that I know I didnt not consume. There were extra soft drinks and cocktails on my bill that I simply never ordered. The bar staff refused to returnn my passport unless I paid the bill, and could not explain these extra drinks which totalled to an extra 100 euro than what I actually ordered. Dissapointing way to end a fun week.
- Benjamin, 26/06/2023 10:31, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Benjamin, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. It is fantastic to hear you had a fun week onboard! Regarding transparency, we strive to ensure accurate and transparent billing for all our guests. You are welcome to ask for a daily tally of your bar tab to be able to keep track of what was consumed during the cruise. It is easy to lose track of these as the week goes on so it is always good to check daily. We do appreciate your feedback and any suggestions are always welcome as we are always looking to make improvements. Please rest assured your feedback has been passed on to the relevant departments. Thank you again and we do hope to see you with us again!
A great bunch of people to travel with A great tour guide (Mila) was exceptional The crew were good especially Maryan Good food thanks to the chef One complaint is the fact that there was a spare room and a very shy young lady asked if she could have her own room instead of boarding with a complete stranger. I was discussed to hear that your company charged her an extra $600 euro in cash on top of what she had already paid that was cruel Steve Whitmore
- Stephen , 14/06/2023 11:41, Travelled with Family
Thank you so much for your 4 star review and all your comments. We are so glad you had a great time and that you found your representative Mila to be exceptional. Thank you for your kind comments regarding Marijan and the chef onboard. We will be sure to pass your comments to our team as they will appreciate very much hearing this. Our cabins are based on two person sharing a cabin and if there is a traveller travelling solo, then they are offered the option of booking a cabin with added Single Supplement cost which is 50% on top of per person pricing. This is offered at the time of booking and is advertised on our website under FAQ's. It isn't possible to waive this fee whilst on the cruise as it would be unfair to solo travellers onboard who booked and paid for a single occupancy cabin. Thank you for your feedback and we do hope we will welcome you again onboard sometime soon!
Compared to recent cruises in the region, the food quality and choice offered was poor and repetitive. Bar closed too early in the evening. Pillows in the room were substandard and uncomfortable. Often had bad drain smell in cabin. The Tour Guide, Stjephan, was outstanding and the rest of the crew very good.
- Brian, 13/06/2023 06:23, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Brian, thank you for your review and for joining us in Croatia this season. I am sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. Please be assured that your feedback is very important to us and your remarks will be passed onto the relevant team so that improvements can be made. Thank you for this and also for your kind words on Stjepan, I will be sure to pass this along to him. Thank you!
Small group, good guides, bike adventures. There should be more details on the physical aspects of the bike touring as those that chose the hybrid bikes found some of the hills tòo strenuous.
- Anonymous, 29/05/2023 19:17, Travelled with Friend/s
Had an awesome time, our boat crew and tour rep were incredible! They took really good care of us and helped us navigate the terrible weather we had for the first 4 days of Sail. Would honestly do it again it was so much fun, the group we had was amazing. I just wouldn't do it in May so the weather would be better. We could only do 3 out of 12 of our optional activities because of weather and a lot of bars/clubs were closed still. Our crew definately made sure to look out for us though and make sure our time was still fun #ClubCorridor
- Ethan, 25/05/2023 14:50, Travelled with Friend/s
Our guides Marin and Ivan were very knowledgeable and attentive. The boat Milena was a great base allowing us to explore the Dalmatian islands by bike.
- Rick, 22/05/2023 15:44, Travelled with Friend/s
I would like to suggest that you don’t start your cruise season while the islands are still closed and not much open. The bar staff should also understand how to make drinks if have them on the list of drinks. May yea and coffee should be free all day ( not a big cost to you )We had a good cruise besides these minor things.
- Martin, 20/05/2023 13:00, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Martin, thank you for taking the time to review your Elegance cruise with us this season. Your feedback is very important to us, so we appreciate that you have taken the time to write to us with your suggestions. There are many benefits to travelling to Croatia outside of peak season in April and May, including cheaper cruise and flight prices, as well as fewer crowds of tourists - this is usually down to personal preference. I will be sure to pass your comments regarding drinks onto the relevant team, thank you for bringing this to our attention and we are pleased that you had a good time. Thank you!
The passenger coordinator, Ioana, was amazing - great communication regarding what was ahead and very responsive to any passenger needs. There was food aplenty; we joked about getting three dinners every day. Best of all were the stops - every island is rich in history and allowed for easy access to the key sites. I wish we had more time at each stop so maybe next time I'll book a longer cruise.
- Anonymous, 11/05/2023 16:04, Travelled with Family
Hi there, thank you so much for your review of your cruise with us on board Esperanza. I will be sure to pass your comments and kind words onto Ioana, thank you so much for this and for an amazing week in Croatia.
Fantastic cruise with great people who made the experience even better. Dino worked hard to make sure the cruise itinerary was best for the weather which ensured we had the best opportunities to see and do as much as possible.
- Grant, 07/05/2023 21:25, Travelled with Family
Thank you for your review of your cruise with us on board Salve di Mare Grant!
e bikes saved the trip. Food and sleeping arrangements could have been better
- Anonymous, 17/10/2022 07:09, Travelled with Friend/s
Guides were outstanding. Tailored each day's rides to the group. Gave options. Knew the terrain. The food needs work. Portions were huge. Occasionally, as they tried to serve 32 people at once, they plated and waited for all 32, resulting in cold food for everyone. When dinner is at 7, serve at 7, no matter who is there. And the food quality was not great. Breakfasts were okay. But fresh vegetables were scarce and overcooked. Salads consisted of a small bowl of tomatoes and cucumbers every night. I would suggest that when the boat is docked in a town with restaurants available, give people the option of not eating on the boat but in town, and adjust the prices accordingly. Rooms were cleaned/serviced only once in the week, which was fine but would have been nice to know. No bathroom toiletries, despite being told there would be. And front cabins with twin beds have very limited access to the underbed storage--bad design.
- Anonymous, 06/10/2022 11:36, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your 4-star review . We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your time onboard the cruise, found the guides outstanding and appreciated the tailor-made itinerary for your private group. We agree - cruising is the best way to see the Dalmatian islands. We thank you for your suggestions - guests are welcome to dine in local restaurants if they prefer to in the evenings, and decline the dinner provided. In regards to the meals served, the chef will prepare and cook all the meals in the small gulleys onboard and we understand that at times, this is not to everyone's taste. Your comments will be passed on to them for future improvements, thank you. Each cabin is unique in style, providing storage for two guests and there is additional storage in the cupboards provided. Cabin cleaning service takes place daily, with a thorough clean mid-week. Toiletries are not provided on all ships and to avoid disappointment, we advise guests to bring their own - this information is also mentioned in your pre-departure documents. Thank you for all your comments here. We hope that these issues didn't detract from your overall experience and enjoyment.
Great cruise, fantastic host in Stjepan, a bit disappointed that we had to spend 2 days in Dubrovnik. A little irritated that you would not accept Credit cards on board. In Croatia ALL ATMs are a rip off and as you accpet payment for the cruise on a credit card, why not onboard? No doubt you dont want the charges to your account but the inconvenience and extra cost we had to bear spoiled a little what was otherwise a great trip
- DAVID, 03/10/2022 08:08, Travelled with Family
Dalmatian islands were amazing. I have to go back. Both guides Ivan and Joseph were fantastic. Food quality on the boat needs to desperately improve. That alone would have me looking for a different company for next time. Overall a great experience and want to come back but will need much better food on boat
- Rich, 03/10/2022 06:46, Travelled with Friend/s
Panniers on the bikes Cleaner rooms More food options
- David , 26/09/2022 05:55, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your comments here David, these will all be taken onboard and we hope you enjoyed all other aspects of your cruise.
Paniers on bikes, better quality food and choices, better communications
- Glenn , 26/09/2022 02:25, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your review - we are happy to know you found the crew to be of great value, thank you. We aim to provide a variety of meals suitable for all guests, however we understand that at times this is not to everyone's individual taste. Thanks for all your comments here.
The whole trip was fantastic but I would like to really highlight Aoife. She was the best person we could have had to be in charge of our boat. She was always involved and gave the best tips about all of the places we stopped. Could not recommend her enough!!!
- Anonymous, 21/09/2022 11:03, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi there, thank you for your review of your Navigator cruise with us this season on board Marija Magdalena. It's great to see you had a fantastic trip with us exploring Croatia and thank you so much for your kind words on Aoife, we will be sure to pass your comments onto the Team! Thank you so much.
The staff were wonderful and Stephanie took great care of keeping us informed and organized for port calls. The food was great with the minor exception of too much olive oil use for me on some dishes. The tuna steak was perfect! I would suggest shorter swim times to allow earlier port stops. Some excursions were not enough time to do them well. Some activities for poor weather days would be nice also.
- Dean, 19/09/2022 10:41, Travelled with Family
26 friends and family sailed on the Emanuel from Split to Dubrovnik. Nina from Sail Croatia was a great guide the food on the Emanuel was delicious and each port was somehow nicer than the last. I only wish was spending more time on the bikes exploring the islands. The schedule keep us fairly tied to the A To B trip with little time for side trips. Also, much of the biking day was spent waiting for slower riders which would have made my trip even better…..
- John, 19/09/2022 08:57, Travelled with Family
The ship staff and quality of service is not what we experienced on our period 2 trips with sail croatia. 1. Rooms, bed comforters were just placed on beds. There were never completely done up with pillows, 2 of the days we’re not even done, mirror was dirty for the week. 2. Bar service was poor, common drinks were never made properly. Previous trips with sail croatia, a glass of wine was served with lunch. 3. We received a nice bottle of champagne since it was out 3 rd trip. We don’t drink champagne so we asked them to deliver it to a newlywed couple on the boat. It was never done. We asked what happened to the bottle, it was then delivered 4 days later. 4. Food quantity and quality was poor, always ran out of fruit for breakfast and salad for lunch. When asked if they had any more salad they said it was all gone, 5. Final Bill, They added a $200 kuna ($30Us) charge to reprogram the key that never worked. After arguing with them they reversed it.
- Stan, 16/09/2022 08:47, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your review Stan, we value your feedback as a 3rd time devoted Sail Croatia guest. On our Elegance cruises we offer daily cabin service with mid-weekly linen change. If you ever need any additional cleaning, the crew are always more than accommodating. I have checked our internal reports and can't see that this was raised with any of our crew members or Onboard Representative to get this resolved for you. In regards to the meals, the chef is more than happy to provide more servings upon request. We are pleased to hear that the key was resolved and that the bottle of champagne was gifted to the newly wedded couple. We appreciate all your comments here Stan and we hope that these issues didn't detract from your overall enjoyment onboard. Thank you.
Such a relaxing way to see a lot of Croatia. Everyday new villages to explore, new restaurants to try, sampling new drinks in hidden bars up lanes and alleys. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to ensure you enjoyed your time on aboard, with good food and lots of it. A multinational bunch of travellers who soon become a group of friends to share the trip with and stories of each other’s lives. Improvements:- small things such as padded sun bed covers, stronger aircon in rooms. Daily visible Computerised drinks bill so you know what cash is required, longer stays in port, I would recommend this holiday and will certainly be repeating this format for all future holidays.
- Alan, 06/09/2022 06:18, Travelled with Friend/s
1. The Dalmation coast is superb and made the trip worthwhile. The friendly crew and spectacular destinations made up for a lot of daily flaws. 2. Food is 2 out of 5 at best. There were times were we ate mediocre food on the boat while docked at a port with great restaurants. 3. Too many stops for swimming off the boat when there's a beautiful beach in sight, just out of reach. Also, when there was a beach stop, it was usually around 45 minutes - what good is that? 4. When cycled right past many points of spectacular scenery that would have been nice to soak in and maybe take a picture or two. When we did stop, it was usually a baren intersection or a town that wasn't as nice a town we sped thru. 5. The bathrooms below deck smelled of sewage. I know the crew must have know this as there were air fresheners in the bathrooms to mask the smell. 6. The trip really ends a day early, on Friday afternoon when the boat arrives in Split and the crew starts closing up.
- Dignan, 30/08/2022 13:26, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Dalmatian Coast, friendly crew and the most beautiful destinations along the way. However, we are disappointed to hear you were unhappy with some aspects of the cruise including the food, swim stops and cabin. Our chefs aim to prepare fresh meals using local produce each day out of their small gulleys, we understand that this is not to everyone's taste. Having a look at the feedback rating for the meals served, the average rating is 4 stars. The ships anchor out at secluded bays for each swim stop which means we are unable to moor into beaches as this would require authorisation from port authorities and generally, ships would need to be moored into the approved docks. However, beaches are easily accesible from most islands for you to enjoy once you arrive at your destination. The swim stops are planned out each week, however we hope that you enjoyed some of the islands you passed. Upon request, the Captain may have been able to stop momentarily for pictures. We are sorry to hear you experienced some issues with the smell in your cabin. We have a rigorous process in place for such issues and if raised with the Onboard Representative, this will be resolved immediately. Upon checking our internal records, I cannot see that this was reported to our team onboard. The cruise ends at 8:30am on the Saturday. Thank you again for your review and we do hope that the flaws mentioned did not detract from your overall lovely experience.
Was a good mix of people on our boat and had a great time. Food was good and plenty of it. The only downfall would be all the extra costs that I incurred. Was very expensive to eat and drink off board and the extra costs onboard you don’t hear about (unless your into reading the fine print). You have to pay for AC, port taxes, etc. would recommend to a friend but letting them know you will need to be prepared to spend.
- Alex, 29/08/2022 07:17, Travelled with Friend/s
Mila was an amazing representative. She explained everything in thorough detail, from what the day would look like, up to all the history of each and every city. She is very well educated on these topics which I enjoyed immensely and made the trip so much better.
- Josh, 12/08/2022 04:07, Travelled with Friend/s
- facilities on the boat were well below par. - representative did not get involved with the clientele on the boat - ratio of boys : girls was absolutely out of balance. Will not be recommending this , very unfortunate
- Charlie, 27/07/2022 05:41, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Charlie, thank you for your review. I can see you booked our Navigator cruise on a Standard ship, which is our most cost effective and budget travel option. Having a look at the feedback for your Onboard Representative, they received all 5 star ratings. The balance of genders depends customer demand for any given ship, and is unfortunately outside of our control. We aim to get a good mix onboard taking into consideration age, gender, nationality and group makeup. This heavily depends on who has booked. I can see that all guests that provided feedback for your week would recommend us to others. We are sorry to hear you won't be recommending us in future. Thank you again for providing us with your review.
We lived on two yachts for a week. We went to a different port city each night to see new sights, and try new foods. Our boat captains took care of a lot of the behind the scenes stuff like docking Reservations, dinner Reservations (when needed), and Diving Reservations for the divers in the group. EVERYONE had a Great Adventure!
- Skip, 26/07/2022 05:46, Travelled with Friend/s
More ventilation for the rooms particularly the ones located below deck. Food provided was not great. Placed with a more suitable group of people closer in age and relationship status.
- Andrew, 22/07/2022 10:58, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Andrew - thank you for your review. We appreciate your comments in regards to the ventilation. I can see you booked our Premier ship which includes air-conditioning, ensuite and spacious cabins. Our chefs aim to provide a variety of meals using fresh local produce, whilst we understand this is not to everyone's individual taste, we are sorry to hear you were disappointed with the meals served and your comments will be passed on to the Operations Team. We aim to get a good mix of travellers onboard our boats, taking into consideration age, gender, nationality and group makeup. However, this can vary and heavily depends on who has booked for any given departure. Thank you again for your review!
The crew were great
- jakeb, 18/07/2022 13:02, Travelled with Friend/s
Every place we visited is truly beautiful. Ivana, Daniel, Mario and the rest of the crew were always there to make sure the trip was as pleasant as possible. This was my 3rd trip in the past 6 years on this same boat, so you can imagine how much I like it and strongly recommend it. The friendships you make and the experiences you live can last you a life time if you choose to. Cheers!!

Everything
- Naci , 14/07/2022 14:36, Travelled with Friend/s
The boat we booked wasnt the same as the online pictures, Every activity we did had a cost, my mates room had no sheets or blankets or towls and took them four days of asking repeatedly to get them. our host knew very little about anything and put in no effort what soever to help us out when we had questions or needed advice
- Matt, 13/07/2022 07:41, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Matt, thank you for your review. We hope you enjoyed your time in Croatia overall. We have a variety of Premier ships and each is unique in style, however will include; air-conditioning, ensuite and larger cabins. All our cabins include bedding and a shower towel for your use. Upon checking our reports, I can confirm that this wasn't raised with your Onboard Representative. Having a look at the feedback provided for your Onboard Rep/Host, they had received all 4-5 star ratings, which includes; destination, organisation and friendliness. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed here. Thank you again for your review Matt.
I was more than a bit surprised to be greeted not by Sail Croatia staff but by the manager of Sunlife.HR !! The manage was very helpful and did his best to rectify the extreme stiffness in the two throttles. Unfortunately he wasn't very successful and we were stuck with the difficult throttles throughout the trip. This didn't cause us to have any accidents but could well have done so. I've used Sail Croatia before and been happy with the service but this year was very much the exception.
- Mike , 08/07/2022 14:31, Travelled with Family
Hi Mike, Thank you for your review. We have our Sail Croatia check-in stand near the Marina for all guests upon arrival, and you are generally greeted by a Sail Croatia representative. I have checked our internal records, and cannot see that this was raised with our Operations Team so I am unable to comment on how you were greeted by a non-Sail Croatia staff member. I am however pleased to hear that the Manager was helpful throughout your journey, as no incidents were raised with us for the duration of your week in Croatia. We do hope that any issues that may have arisen did not detract from your overall enjoyment, especially as you have travelled with us in the past and had a wonderful experience. We do hope that you will join us again in the future Mike.
Ship and rooms should be more in working order . Items shouldn’t be broken or makeshift . Had to ask for new towels after being told they would be changed. Our bedsheets weren’t even changed out. Never bothered to follow up after having to request. Some of the crew’s excellent service made up for others sub par performance . As a parent, Incident on ship was alarming and could’ve ruined the cruise, had to try hard to trust things would be alright . Swimming spots was occasionally sub par. Consistency in swim locations would have made things excellent.
- Rey, 05/07/2022 10:42, Travelled with Family
Hi Rey - thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to review your cruise. Upon checking our reports, I can see that a mid-week cabin service was complete, including bedding and towel change on your boat - I could not see any issues being raised by yourself to your Onboard Representative. If this was missed for any reason, we would hope that guests would highlight this to their Onboard Representative. We understand that there was an incident onboard and our Rep, Captain and crew were on-hand to assist where possible. All swim stops are monitored and a member of staff is always on watch to ensure the safety of guests. Our Captain will chose the best secluded bays, these are in a variety of exclusive locations for your enjoyment. Thank you again for your review.
Croatia has the best sailing waters in the Med. It offers calm winds, abundant moorings and just awesome water. Sail Croatia made this all possible with their professional service and great fleet of sailing boats. Serenity, while an older lady of the sea, was easy to sail and the equipment was first class. Wanting to explore the Dalmatian Coast on your own bareboat charter, Sail Croatia offer great value and equipment. We had a blast....
- Geoff, 29/06/2022 07:12, Travelled with Friend/s
The tour was incredibly poorly organised. The company completely fail to train their staff in how to deal with any form of issue outside of the schedule. This included no solution to cancelled trips, no ability to deal with onboard conflicts and issues, and making consistent promises that were not delivered. I did a Topdeck tour at half the price 3 years ago, and I would suggest it is a much better option than this. Sail Croatia failed on every front. The only exception to this was the crew and captain, who made the tour more tolerable.
- Dominic, 06/06/2022 05:24, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Dominic, thank you for your review. We are pleased to know that the captain and crew were available onboard however, we are sorry to hear of your disappointment with the organisation onboard. We do have processes in place for dealing with any issues that arise and this is found onboard the cruise, in your pre-departure information and via our app. The first step is to contact your onboard representative, you can then escalate to the Operations Manager and if need be, the Managing Director. We pride ourselves on having knowledgeable, friendly and helpful representatives who share their passion for their country and culture. Having checked our feedback for the organisation of the cruise, I can see that most of our guests provided 5 star ratings. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed and we hope that this didn't detract from your overall enjoyment of Croatia as a whole. Thank you.
Beautiful boat (Alfa Mario) great captain, the cabins were spacious and spotlessly clean, very attentive crew, the food was excellent and Irvana was a great tour manager very knowledgeable, we met a lot of interesting characters and made plenty of new friends. We will definitely sail again with sail Croatia, if you are thinking of sailing around Croatia you won't do better than to use Sail Croatia.
- Michael, 12/10/2021 16:55, Travelled with Friend/s
Hi Michael, thank you for your review. It's great to hear you received 5-star service throughout your cruise with us and we're so happy that you would recommend our cruises to others! Thanks for your kind words.
It was amazing cycling tour. A uniq experience which involved cycling swimming and cruse for seven days. The views were unbelievable. I recommend it very every cyclist.
- Meir, 11/10/2021 05:35, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you so much for your review Meir. We're pleased you enjoyed your time on the cruise and in Croatia!
The places we visited doing a back to back boat cruise on the Esperanza were beautiful but the six of us (friends) thought our food was very average.for the money we paid. Our Chef seemed to overcook our dishes particularly the main courses. Another gripe we had was there should be shampoo or soap left in our bathroom everyday but the only time shampoo was left was when we had to ask for it. Several noodles would help for our swim stops but everything else was fine and the staff very obliging.

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your cruise with us onboard Esperanza, on both Elegance Split Return (North) and (South) routes. Esperanza is beautiful and we are sure all six of you were well taken care of by the captain and crew. In saying this, the onboard chef's feedback this season has been 4-5 star, so we are sorry to hear of your disappointment with the food and your comments will be passed on to the relevant department. There is a shampoo/shower gel dispenser included in your cabin for use. Our cruises don't include inflatables, however at times past guests will leave this onboard for future guests to enjoy. These can also be bought from the local markets. Thanks again for your comments as it's with such comments we can look to improve where possible.
We were fortunate to be amongst a great crowd of guests who all enjoyed each other's company and the excellent dining on board and ashore. We all shared great confidence in the Captain and crew who inobtrusivly went out of their way to make out holiday a comfortable and memorable one. Would have been 5 stars but for the weather on a couple of days. But, hey, swimming in Slano was a pretty good substitute for cycling in the National Forest. Thanks Antonio.

Thank you for your 5 star review! It is wonderful that you had such a great time with us this season on board Queen Jelena for your Elegance cruise. Your fellow travellers really can make the trip, so it is great you had such a good group of people on board with you to enjoy exploring Croatia with. Thank you for an amazing week!
1. The transfer car from the airport at Split dropped us off by the harbour, a long way from our hotel (which we had to locate ourselves). We could have been driven closer or shown where we could hire a 'golf car' to take us to our hotel. 2. On the boat the air conditioning unit drew air from the rear deck where the crew smoked. This made the atmosphere in our cabin very unpleasant. 3. Please supply black-tea (eg. English or Irish Breakfast Tea) on board. It would be much appreciated by British / Australian / New Zealand guests. Other than this we enjoyed the cruise.

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your cruise experience overall. However, we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with some aspects, which I wish to clarify for you. Our airport transfers will collect you from the airport and drop you as close as possible to the hotel. As your hotel was based in central Split, this is a highly pedestrianised area and does not allow vehicle access I'm afraid. We are sorry that this was not made clear prior to your arrival. We have designated smoking areas, generally towards the back of the boat however, we do appreciate your comments on this and we will pass this on to the Operations Team. Thanks for your suggestion of a variety of tea bags, we will pass this on to the relevant team. We appreciate all your suggestions here, thank you!
Great company travelling in a group of 16 friends.Others on board the boat were also great and everyone got on well. Staff great, organised and supportive. Would have liked longer bike rides and less time in the villages. Also to have a meal on board at night 2-3 nights a week to enable more group interaction at a social level. Lunches I would have preferred to be while out in the village and then ride more, rather than having to come back to the boat for lunch sometimes late in the day (for lunch)

Hi there and thank you for your review. We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed your cruise with a group of 16 friends, but also the rest of the travellers onboard. We appreciate your comments on longer bike rides and less time in the villages, we try to get a good infusion of both :-). Your suggestion of having lunches out will be highlighted to our Operations Team for future improvements. Thank you again for all your comments and for choosing to travel with us!
