Everything was almost perfect, except the noise in the eating room was painful and the noise in the restaurant that we went to as a group was also excruciatingly loud and the food wasn’t very good. I would not recommend the Olimp boat to anybody else until those problems are fixed.

Firstly, the Esperanza is not the most modern in the Sail Croatia fleet - but it it extremely well looked after and is in pristine condiition. The Captain was very friendly and engaging. And all of the 8 crew do an incredible job - they are all very focusing on deliverying outstanding customer service. Our room was very well equiped, comfortable and surprisingly spacious - and the bathroom was a great size. The boat, has plenty of deck space, to sit out in the sun and there are also plenty of shaded areas. The seating areas of the boat and large and comfortable - you never feel there is not enough space. The restaurant was set for 8 people per table. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options. Lunch was a fixed 3 course meal - there was also a small daily salad bar available with lunch. Internet was a. challenge onboard. The only criticism I have is that the tour leader - who was very nice and very helpful - had a focus on cash only tours and cash tips for the crew

Thank you for your detailed feedback and 4 star review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your time aboard Esperanza and particularly appreciated the Captain, crew, spacious cabins and onboard facilities. We would like to clarify that optional excursions are operated by local suppliers in Croatia, with cash being their preferred payment method. Similarly, while crew gratuities are entirely optional, cash is the method used onboard should guests wish to leave a tip. Thank you again for travelling with us and for recognising the fantastic service provided by the Esperanza crew.
The ship was modest but adequate, while the tour guides were exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic. they truly made the the cycling experience enjoyable and memorable . Overall , a wonderful trip.

Our holiday was wonderful. Our host Hana met us on the dock on day one and kept all the guests well informed the entire trip. The food was fantastic and the crew were all very good!!
- Bruce, 28/09/2026 02:18, Travelled with Family
Great time, the guides did a great job. They were friendly and knowledgeable. The crew was also excellent. On "complaint" is that the food on the boat could have been better. I would still recommend them.

As a previous customer of Sail Croatia I knew I would enjoy myself and the company of an international gathering. It was enjoyable and the few changes were welcome. E Bikes were better but they should had wider tyres. Guides were very professional. Food was mostly very good. However, I thought that I would upgrade the boat that I had selected but I think this boat was the poorest I have been on in all four previous holidays. Rooms were small, decorations were beginning to feel very dated. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was good. Lounge areas were only adequate but outside spaces were only a little more generous, All Sail Croatia staff were good as were boat’s complement. Excellent Captain. The last day before arriving in Dubrovnik was a poor cycling day and I think that you need to find a more demanding and interesting ride. It really was disappointing In summery, better boat for Premium, more appropriate bikes, final day rethink. Thanks for running the trip.

Thank you for your 4-star review and for choosing to travel with us again. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the international group, found our guides professional, enjoyed the food overall and had such positive comments about the Captain and our team. We would like to clarify your comments regarding the ship category. Your booking was on our Premier ship category, rather than a higher-category ship. Premier is designed to offer a comfortable small-ship experience, but is not our highest category of accommodation. For guests looking for a higher standard of ship, accommodation and amenities, we offer our Luxury Cycle product. We appreciate your feedback regarding the ship, e-bikes and particularly the final day of cycling into Dubrovnik, and will ensure these comments are shared with the relevant teams as we continue to review the experience. Thank you again for returning to Sail Croatia. We’re pleased that overall you enjoyed another holiday with us and appreciate your 4-star rating.
I had a fantastic week with Sail Croatia on board the Almissa. Our tour manager Sanja was simply fantastic, with excellent local knowledge and support. The swim stops in the Adriatic sea were stunning, and I simply had one of the most amazing weeks I could have. Thank you again Sanja, the crew, and Sail Croatia.

Sailing around from split to Dubrovnik was absolute pleasure. From three course lunches every day and new swim spots daily to choose from fabulous way to make the journey. I’m visiting a Newport every night to make fabulous memories

Great trip, the crew and the guide were the best. Wouldn’t have beeen the same without them.

Our 1st trip to Croatia was a rich visit into the regions history and wonderful food. Divers are rewarded the magically clear water and many wrecks (check the depths!). Our yacht was clean, well laid out and comfortable. We’ve chartered numerous yachts and this was my favorite. This charter also included a skipper and hostess. Dora was phenomenal, well organized, engaging and a great cook (quality & variety). The skipper was friendly, professional and impressively skilled boatsman. We expected a charter where we would actually sail - we motored except for a couple hours. We docked on all but 1 night and had no opportunity for the family to momentarily take the helm. My impression is that the captain wanted to go in the straightest line possible (no sailing), dock (no mooring or dinghy needed) and go as fast as possible (no family experience to slow him down, increased fuel use and diesel fumes). Marina fees, bkfst/lunch for 9 and dinner for the 2 crew amounted to 5000 euros.

Thank you for sharing your 4-star review, and we're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your first visit to Croatia, the catamaran and, in particular, the wonderful care provided by your Skipper and Hostess. We're sorry that the amount of sailing did not fully meet your expectations. Sailing is always a priority where conditions and the planned itinerary allow, although this can naturally depend on the weather forecast and distances involved. We also appreciate your feedback regarding opportunities for the family to take the helm. In terms of expenses, these can vary significantly depending on grocery preferences and mooring choices. Based on previous guests travelling on Alley Cat, combined grocery and mooring costs have typically averaged around €1,500–€1,800 for the week, although individual spend can of course be higher or lower. Thank you again for your feedback, and we're so pleased you had an enjoyable and memorable time in Croatia.
Absolutely amazing experience and crew, you’ll have the best week of your life meeting new people Boat was very old and run down but in comparison to the people and the memories you’ll make it’s worth the price would have been nice to include the taxes in the payment though was a little misleading. The other thing I didn’t like was we couldn’t mix with the sister boats only to find out it was because their drinks prices was different also

It was a very nice trip overall with very kind crew and well organised, the cabins were nice and clean and the AC worked top. I loved the buoys and the swimstops where we could jump! Special shout out to Toni who organised the trip perfectly. Some things were slightly expensive, especially the BBQ extra charge of 30 euros was unecessary given the amount already paid, and I wish some activities could have been included as part of the original fare. Fellow travellers were very nice and agreeable, but it would be could to market the trip to other nationalities to make sure it is not only Aussies only!

A great time for anyone who loves a party. Meeting lots of new people is fun and everyone on board is very friendly, it’s an extroverts dream and helps bring out introverts. The boat is somewhat comfortable, a little dated but nothing terrible, the bedding is a bit bare bones - take a proper pillow or blanket. Food is okay - nothing amazing, a few good meals during the week. Staff are very great, our guide Lauren was awesome and so were the crew. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a solid party and exploring - bring your wallet, your room is secured with payment but virtually everything on board is charged, except for on board meals. Even transfers from the boat and to events is charged to you, so bring at least a few hundred euros to cover these.

Great holiday and enjoyed every minute of it. The captain was very well organised and great with my children.
- Ellis, 11/08/2026 08:51, Travelled with Family
Our week sailing on Spellbound with Ana and Daniel was a wonderful family holiday. They made us feel welcome and at home and showed us some beautiful islands, coves and ports. Daniel did a great job accommodating everyone’s tastes with great breakfasts and lunches and took us to some lovely restaurants for dinner. Our only disappointment was that the only day that it was suitable for sailing, the rigging was faulty and the main sail couldn’t be raised.
- Marion, 29/07/2026 09:04, Travelled with Family
Really cool time away. Our staff were awesome. Great weather and smooth sailing

- Jacques, 17/07/2026 18:12, Travelled with Family
Yeah it was a great trip. Excursions were fun and there was a great vibe on the boat. I will make some complaints. The boat itself did not have any sails whatsoever. It was a bit old and rundown and smelled quite bad on the lower deck. Most mornings you don't sleep in from the noise of the motor. I feel like the drinks were a bit steep and especially the bell rings being 128 euros was ridiculous. Felt like exploiting customers for more profit. There is no way serving 30 odd people some shots is worth over 100 euros. Also the bartender used his hands to put ice in the buckets. Not anyones fault but something to be aware of was the whole boat ended up getting sick by the end of it and you would hear loud coughing at night. Having to pay in cash was a let down. Someone had a bar tab of over 1000euro and had to pay $44 in atm fees and call his bank. I would have appreciated being able to top up my tab in advance via card. The port fees being included was obviously just to make sure you
- John, 16/07/2026 14:57, Travelled Solo
Positives- The food and dining service were excellent throughout the trip. The information shared about the islands, local attractions, and recommended activities was very helpful and enhanced our experience. Hanna was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always willing to help with restaurant reservations and excursion bookings. Her assistance was greatly appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied with our cruise experience and had a wonderful time. Areas for Improvement- We noticed that some staff members were smoking in or near common guest areas. Relocating smoking to designated staff-only areas would help create a more comfortable environment for guests, especially those who are sensitive to cigarette smoke. One bartender, Cesar, came across as less welcoming than the rest of the crew during our interactions. A more friendly and approachable demeanor would further enhance the overall guest experience.
- Anonymous, 13/07/2026 17:48, Travelled with Family
Overall I have a great time both on and off the boat. The crew was friendly and professional. The experience was memorable. If the age grouping could be fine tuned a little I would def consider another trip with sail Croatia. I was a little out of place with a group who were older than I was. My age or slightly younger would have been preferable.

My wife and I had a great time on the sailing and biking adventure! The guides, scenery, and bikes were amazing! The routes were challenging at times and very beautiful. We had plenty of free time and made lots of new friends from around the world. We added extra days in Split (before) and Dubrovnik (after) which were both very enjoyable. Really loved this trip!
- John, 29/06/2026 13:00, Travelled with Family
This was are second Sail Croatia cruise. The first was fantastic. Out second was on the Contessa, and it is a new boat. As with some new things, such as homes, boats, there is a pick up list of things that need improvement. In our case there were three issues. The AC was not working well and basically managed the room to 30 degrees Celsius, the boats internet was very limited, only working in the dining area, and that was food quality and taste was average. One of the driving forces besides the beauty of Croatia of our return was exceptional food quality, preparation and value in our first cruise. The chefs were amazing, tantalizing us with great appetizers, main courses and deserts. Although an effort was made it was not near the level of our first cruise. I imagine Sail Croatia will rectify these start up issues but want to present the facts as they were for us to future customers.
- Brad, 26/06/2026 10:00, Travelled with Family
Holiday was great. All staff on the boat were great to deal with. Boat was clean and safe as well as the food was excellent. Only drawback was that there were some people not on ebikes which held up the whole tour several times. Would have liked to ebike longer distances but were not able to because of this issue.
- Anonymous, 24/06/2026 13:53, Travelled with Family
Brilliant , Lauren was fantastic. The crew were awesome! We had a good blend of people on the boat, from all over the world. Food was good and the places where we went were absolutely beautiful. The only complaint I have was the bed and sheets were a little short for me I am 6’2” I didn’t like the fact we had to “pay in cash” for the bar tab and local taxes at the end of the trip.
- Anonymous, 15/06/2026 06:59, Travelled Solo
I enjoyed the other people on the tour and the guides (Marin and Martin). I did feel that the boat used was not a proper one for this kind of cruise. Once the bikes were loaded there was little room left. I noted other boats when at dock that were roomier on the stern on the middle. Also, the breakfast buffet was poorly organized. Again, there was a lack of space forcing people into a small table area where only one person could get in and had to come back out into the same line. There should be access in the round and not at one of the eating tables. When parked alongside other boats there was no airflow. This became an issue when the air conditioning was not working. The crew was not very friendly, were smoking near the eating area and on their phones. There were no smokers on the tour so it was somewhat disgusting to have to inhale the crews cigarette smoke. They should go off the boat or to the upper deck if they want to smoke. The food was not of good quality. Needs improvement.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed travelling with your fellow guests and that Marin and Martin helped make your experience a positive one. We will be sure to pass on your kind comments to them. We are sorry to learn that several aspects of the onboard experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the vessel layout, dining area configuration, air conditioning, food quality, and crew service. Guest comfort is extremely important to us, and we understand how these issues could have impacted your enjoyment of the cruise. Regarding your comments about the vessel size and onboard space, I can see that you travelled on one of our Premier ships. While these ships offer a comfortable cruising experience, we also offer a Premier Plus category for guests seeking additional space, larger cabins, and enhanced onboard amenities. Many of the larger vessels you may have seen during your cruise would likely have fallen within this category. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and recommendation. We truly value guest insights as they help us continue to improve our experiences.
It was good, but they have things to improve, like the air conditioning not working, the cancellation of multiple activities due to the weather, the captain's absence due to "illness" (though he seemed perfectly fine the other days), and having a bartender drunk almost 50% of the time. But the accommodations were very good, the food was very good, and the main day was excellent.

It really was a great trip, Marin and Mario were exceptional. They covered all the bases for having a safe and worry, free experience, very professional. Personally, I could’ve used a little bit longer routes to cycle and myself and a few others felt the last cycle stop was a little risky getting on and off the boat. I’m off to extend my journey and vacation, but I think that this part of it’s gonna be the best of everything overall Thanks, John.

Forgive my spelling of names but Jospina and Skipper Ante where the best. Every meal was perfect and they were attentive to all our needs, especially some of our party that were less sure footed getting on and off board. Bottom line only complaint was who sends a charter out with only 1 towel per guest for a week( this was not the crews fault) . Had a great time overall and our Crew were very knowledgeable of all the ports which made getting to and from any adventures/tours we went on super easy and added to our fun!!!!
- Philip, 13/08/2025 02:08, Travelled with Family
This is a trip to recommend for several reasons, the itinerariy is superb. Ivana our host could not have been better and the crew is fantastic. There is always room to improve on A few things like breakfast, the village dinner, but all in all very good
- Gustavo, 29/07/2025 05:12, Travelled with Family
My second Sail Croatia holiday and just as good as the first. I chose the Split Northern Cycle Tour to explore some new places and more of some of the places I'd visited previously, It was a great trip with an excellent multi national bunch of people on board. We were well looked after and the rides were excellent, scenic, varied, interesting and challenging but do go for the e-bike option unless you are a serious bike rider!

The boat was immaculate. A credit to the skipper and crew. The guides Mika and Lola were fantastic.

Great experience meeting a number of people from around the world. Crew did a fantastic job ensuring we were kept safe and answered all of our needs. Well done. Klara our cruise director did an outstanding job keeping us informed and did everything she could to ensure we were taken care of regardless of the time. Highly recommended
- James, 12/05/2025 17:08, Travelled with Family
The staff could not have been more helpful, the guides were knowledgeable and were quick to make changes when the weather demanded it. However charging €40 for a bottle of sparkling wine that retails at £6 is outrageous.
- Colin, 12/05/2025 10:14, Travelled with Family
The guide, Anita, was excellent. Charming, efficient and most helpful. It was a joy to have such service. I cannot recommend her too much. The crew were very helpful. Food not so good- too much overcooked meat, just one fish dish in 7 days.. Good bar service. Most enjoyable party after the captain',s dinner- lots of dancing ! I did not engage in excursions, as too strenuous for my age.. Others enjoyed them.. Cabin fine and very efficient and pleasant cleaner.

With Sail Croatia it is really for those aged between 18-28. Anyone above 30 and you feel a little out of place. These days everyone is traveling in groups of 2-6. Gone of the days of solo travellers from my recent sail where there was only 4 of us solo travellers. It does make it a little harder to meet people but I guess at the end of the day it really is a luck of the draw. It definitely is a good experience. Just prepare to be oboard with a bucket load of aussies haha
- dan, 19/09/2024 23:05, Travelled Solo
No snacks and coffee service only a few hours a day? Also couldn’t get a beverage while band was playing? Boat lost revenue during entertainment because couldn’t access the bar

We had a nice trip on kingfisher. Our captain and hostess were nice and helpful on making our trip enjoyable. Thank you for a fun trip. A few recommendations yo improve the experience: 1. Please tell the guests to bring more cash for mooring fees and dinners. 2. It would be nice to spend the last night on an island vs split. You can just move check out to 10 am and that would really be a nice way to end the trip. 3. The 42 Lagoon catamaran only has 3 cabins if you use a skipper so that is an important description item as the skipper takes one of the cabins. When they sold us the catamaran they sold it to us as if it could sleep 8 people which is incorrect. It can only sleep 6 guests with a skipper.
- Jean , 22/08/2024 16:52, Travelled with Family
Dear Jean, Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience on Kingfisher. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip and found the skipper and hostess helpful. We appreciate your recommendations and we agree that bringing extra cash is a good idea for mooring fees and dining, so that guests can prepare accordingly - we also outline this in our Pre-departure information provided. While we understand the desire to spend the last night on an island, late check-out is not possible due to the extensive safety checks and cleaning required before the next departure. Our website correctly states that this vessel has 4 cabins that can accommodate 8 guests. It's common in the sailing industry, particularly in Croatia, for the crew to use the salon area as a double bed if all cabins are occupied by guests. Thank you again for your valuable input, and we hope to welcome you on board again in the future.
I was lucky enough to get the best group of people and best crew. But all I can say is that booking the ensuite boat for navigator is definitely all you’ll need for a week. You’ll have more fun on this boat if you’re solo or with one or two mates. If you’re travelling with a bigger group of friends you should think about selecting a nicer boat.
- James, 07/08/2024 00:34, Travelled Solo
I had a great time aboard the Afrodita while being a solo traveler. I met tons of friends and shared great memories. The food and on board entertainment were great, but the bar prices were not competitive at all. Drinks were €10-12 and happy hour was only 10% off. Bell ring shots were also €120 at the start of the trip and usually mostly juice unless you were watching the bartender and telling him to pour more alcohol. When comparing with passengers in other boats, their drinks were only €4 (didn't have to pay for mixers) and bell rings on their boat were only €80. If our boat had cheaper drinks, more drinks would have been purchased on board, but our group was considered fairly tame because people didn't end up buying many drinks on board. More money could have been made by this boat on alcohol, but they were stingy with prices and portions and wondered why they didn't make much money. The trip overall was great, but the bar was their biggest downfall.
- Michael , 29/07/2024 15:12, Travelled Solo
We had a lovely time on board the Morpheus from 15th of July till 22nd. The holiday started a bit unfortunate due to a delay of our flight and as a consequence our luggage arrived a day later than expected. Our skipper Marco suggested an alternative route which made we could easily collect our luggage the following day from Trogir. We had a lovely trip, enjoyed the islands, Marco suggested a nice itinerary which suited our family needs. He was discrete when we wanted it and available when we needed it. Overall, a wonderful experience, definitely also thanks to Marco's professional attitude. We will definitely do this again. Best regards, Koen, Veerle, Lucas, Ella and Tess

First up, Ana, our guide, was top notch and probably the best guide I've had on any trip. She provided comprehensive maps at each stop of good restaurants, museums, attractions and bars, carried herself very professionally, and was always polite and informative. She is an asset for Sail Croatia. The staff, were also brilliant. Particularly Branko on the bar. You want your bar staff to be funny, eccentric and great to have a conversation with, and Branko exceeded expectations on all three! The food was also impeccable. The Explorer cruise was also a very good crowd. Perhaps slightly older and more couples than I expected, but it suited me well. The only parts where Sail Croatia fell short for me was some of the experiences. Not having an alternative option instead of rafting (which was unavailable in Makarska on my trip) was disappointing. Even a short walk along the Cetina would have been OK. The Korcula buggy tour was also short and expensive for what it was.
- Lewis, 17/06/2024 20:51, Travelled Solo
Great Crew and hostess Mia were outstanding. Minor problems: AC went out last few days though. Need a stronger band width for Wifi. Very spotty reception. All in all a good cruise was had by my wife and I and the couple we came with.
- Dale, 17/10/2023 06:03, Travelled with Family
Hi Dale, thank you for your 4-star review. We appreciate your kind comments on the crew and hostess Mia, and we will surely pass this on. We understand that there were minor issues with the air-conditioning which was swiftly resolved upon arrival in to Dubrovnik. WIFI is subject to download limits and coverage, so can be spotty at times. We are pleased that that you all had a wonderful time overall, and we hope to welcome you back onboard soon.
Our Crew Leader Nikola went above and beyond on so many occasions for not only our boat (Big Blue) but for passengers on other boats. There were two times that some of the girls on the other boats were in a distressful situation from locals or other unrelated tourists. He got them back to the boat safely in a seamless and timely manner, His attentiveness to safety for everyone was incredible. The only fault was we had 3 lounge chairs on the top deck of the boat to share between 25.

Swimming in beautifully clear water, making friends with a bunch of amazing people and partying in some of the coolest clubs and locations you’ll find in the world. I had a great time doing Sail Croatia but it’s something I’d only do once. Be prepared to be a shell of yourself when you get off the boat. Four stars because our first tour guide got fired half way through (thankfully because he was completely useless) and because he/the boat tried to scam us into paying for the air conditioning even though it was advertised as being included in the price.
- Isaac, 02/08/2023 09:21, Travelled Solo
Hi Isaac, thank you for your review and for joining us in Croatia this season! It is wonderful to hear you had a great time on your cruise and met some incredible people, enjoying your time exploring Croatia together. I can see you joined us on one of our Ensuite ships where air-conditioning is not included in the price. We thank you for an amazing week on board and hope to see you join us again in the future! Kind regards, Cayley.
Great boat and great skipper. The air con did not always work as electricity variable. I would want one with a generator if I came back.
- Bruce , 25/07/2023 05:14, Travelled with Family
Hi Bruce, thank you so much for joining us this season in Croatia. We are so pleased to read you enjoyed your time on board Sundance and you were happy with your skipper, Mislav! I will be sure to pass your kind words onto him. We certainly recommend a vessel with a generator if you wish to have power and air-conditioning when you'e not hooked up to power from the marina. I can confirm the aic-con and electricity was always 'working', just not available to use without power as there is no generator on Sundance. Thanks for a fantastic week and we hope to see you again in the future.
Friendly staff, well organized daily activities

A great bunch of people to travel with A great tour guide (Mila) was exceptional The crew were good especially Maryan Good food thanks to the chef One complaint is the fact that there was a spare room and a very shy young lady asked if she could have her own room instead of boarding with a complete stranger. I was discussed to hear that your company charged her an extra $600 euro in cash on top of what she had already paid that was cruel Steve Whitmore
- Stephen , 14/06/2023 11:41, Travelled with Family
Thank you so much for your 4 star review and all your comments. We are so glad you had a great time and that you found your representative Mila to be exceptional. Thank you for your kind comments regarding Marijan and the chef onboard. We will be sure to pass your comments to our team as they will appreciate very much hearing this. Our cabins are based on two person sharing a cabin and if there is a traveller travelling solo, then they are offered the option of booking a cabin with added Single Supplement cost which is 50% on top of per person pricing. This is offered at the time of booking and is advertised on our website under FAQ's. It isn't possible to waive this fee whilst on the cruise as it would be unfair to solo travellers onboard who booked and paid for a single occupancy cabin. Thank you for your feedback and we do hope we will welcome you again onboard sometime soon!
The passenger coordinator, Ioana, was amazing - great communication regarding what was ahead and very responsive to any passenger needs. There was food aplenty; we joked about getting three dinners every day. Best of all were the stops - every island is rich in history and allowed for easy access to the key sites. I wish we had more time at each stop so maybe next time I'll book a longer cruise.

Fantastic cruise with great people who made the experience even better. Dino worked hard to make sure the cruise itinerary was best for the weather which ensured we had the best opportunities to see and do as much as possible.

Thank you for your review of your cruise with us on board Salve di Mare Grant!
Great cruise, fantastic host in Stjepan, a bit disappointed that we had to spend 2 days in Dubrovnik. A little irritated that you would not accept Credit cards on board. In Croatia ALL ATMs are a rip off and as you accpet payment for the cruise on a credit card, why not onboard? No doubt you dont want the charges to your account but the inconvenience and extra cost we had to bear spoiled a little what was otherwise a great trip

My shipmates were great!

All the journey was better than expected. Very good guides and good service.
- Lars Bjarne, 20/09/2022 09:42, Travelled Solo
Thank you for your review Lars, we were pleased to have you join us on board Mali Ante!
The staff were wonderful and Stephanie took great care of keeping us informed and organized for port calls. The food was great with the minor exception of too much olive oil use for me on some dishes. The tuna steak was perfect! I would suggest shorter swim times to allow earlier port stops. Some excursions were not enough time to do them well. Some activities for poor weather days would be nice also.
- Dean, 19/09/2022 10:41, Travelled with Family
26 friends and family sailed on the Emanuel from Split to Dubrovnik. Nina from Sail Croatia was a great guide the food on the Emanuel was delicious and each port was somehow nicer than the last. I only wish was spending more time on the bikes exploring the islands. The schedule keep us fairly tied to the A To B trip with little time for side trips. Also, much of the biking day was spent waiting for slower riders which would have made my trip even better…..
- John, 19/09/2022 08:57, Travelled with Family
Really great experience. Just could be more transparent with the costs of excursions. Easy to deal with and great crew.
- Sean, 14/09/2022 10:43, Travelled Solo
I loved every moment of my week on the Nerezine. I has the best group of people that made me as a solo traveller feel welcomed. The crew were also amazing! I did however feel some of the extra add on were not presented to us, for example the canoeing. There were also some issues below deck in my room that I thought were not up to scratch. These include leaking water from the ceiling, out ensuing door not closing and latching. The toilet was an issue as I couldn't use it properly, but I was able to make do. These issue however did not make my time on the boat bad, for me they are just amenities, the people and places you visit is what matter and makes the trip what it is. As I said before it was one of the best weeks of my life and I have you, Sail Croatia and Ioana and crew to thank for that.
- Bradley, 23/08/2022 16:51, Travelled Solo
What a fantastic week through the islands and coastline of Croatia. The people and crew made everything feel like the once in a lifetime trip this deserves to be. Tempted to go on the yacht trip on day once I recover from the craziness of the navigator cruise. Needs a few less Aussies, although maybe that's what made it so good.

Dino and Tommo made the trip amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better 2 people to look after us the whole trip
- Anonymous, 29/07/2022 07:36, Travelled Solo
Thank you for your 5-star rating. We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed your trip overall and we will pass your comments on to Dino and Tommo.
Great trip. I thought I would love drinking every day but I got tired of it quickly and only wanted to focus on the exploration. If you’re looking to party constantly this is a great trip, otherwise if you want to explore just stick to hostels and travel
- Conor, 06/06/2022 00:37, Travelled Solo
Hello, Great trip with great people. Weather meant weren’t able to do everything but was still great fun. I understand it was the end of the season but I feel Ela could have done a better job of making sure everyone was informed and involved in the week. Communication wasn’t great and I really felt there was a missed opportunity to bring everyone together and create a real family atmosphere. Crew were awesome and worked really hard to ensure we were having a good time. Were a couple of incidence with things going missing and finding loose clothes in the crew cabin. Overall a great experience but feel with a little bit of extra effort it would have gone a long way I’m creating a truly unforgettable experience. Cheers,
- Riley, 30/09/2019 17:34, Travelled Solo
Hi there Riley, Thank you for taking the time to review our cruise! We're glad that the crew were awesome and worked hard to ensure everyone was having the best time, and of course that you were onboard with a lovely group of fellow travellers. We appreciate your comments on our guide Ela. We will be highlighting this to our Operations Team for further support and training where required, thank you. We hope that overall, you enjoyed your time in Croatia and got to create some amazing memories! Thanks again
Relaxed and played back staff Skipper good guy

Thanks for joining us!
Had a wonderful time aboard the Esperanza sailing Dub to Split. All crew members were friendly and helpful . The fact that o Kt small ships could access these Bays and Ports was a super experience and we all had a superb time . Thanks Boris, Tomo , Carlos and the rest of the crew .
- Willie, 13/08/2019 11:19, Travelled with Family
Thank you for the review - it was a real pleasure having you both join our lovely ship Esperanza. Thank you!
Ana the onboard rep took the worry out of every decision (places to go, dining, problems, transfers etc), and was absolutely outstanding. Her dedication was exemplary. Amongst the guests, a community spirit developed & we all had a ball, whatever the event. Boat was kept spotlessly clean throughout. Lunches were nicely presented and although a little simple, they were always imaginative and enjoyable. While relaxing, felt you were on your own boat! Breakfasts were lacking and as they were buffet style, if you were not first in you often missed out! Cabin had all amenities but the wardrobe was very small & problematic. Hooks on walls needed. Bed & linens comfy but needed extra pillows. The swim stops would have benefited by having some “toys” and canoes would have been welcome. Main disappointment was I specifically asked not to be allocated the noisy cabin (upper deck!) next to the engine as it was wife's special birthday — and that’s where we were put! All in all - a fantastic time!

Hi there and thank you for your review. We pride ourselves on having the most knowledgeable, friendly, fun and dedicated representatives in Croatia - we are so happy to know you agree! I just wanted to highlight a few points in your review for guests thinking of joining us in the future, the breakfasts are generally buffet style and if more food is required, our chef is happy to prepare additional servings. We appreciate all your comments regarding the wardrobe, hooks, bed linen and water toys - we will pass these comments on to the relevant team. We will be investigating further, as we always try to cater to specific cabin requests, thank you for making us aware. We're glad you enjoyed your overall cruise experience and we thank you for choosing us!
The whole Tuna crew was great! Eoin, Marco and chef Marco really made the trip. Also had a great group sailing as well! I would recommend, however, to bring a freind or two, especially if you do not get your own room. Also recomend doing all the activites!

Great Crew on board Met some great people Good activities
- Tim, 12/08/2019 06:59, Travelled Solo
Hi there and thank you so much!
Cristal is one of the newer and largest offered by Sail Croatia. The cabins and baths are very spacious and there are many well designed areas to relax and be with or away from the other guests. The ship is kept very clean by the crew and housekeeping staff. The captain is very welcoming. Our trip had a wonderful group of fellow travelers of all ages from around the world. The food quality could be substantially improved. Many of the port stops are too short and much time is spent at very long swim stops waiting for free public docks to become available at the end of the day. The boat must leave these public docks very early with engines starting at 7 or 8am. The cruse director was enthusiastic, excursion quality highly variable and local port information limited.so do your own homework.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave us an honest review of your cruise on board Cristal with us this season. I'm so pleased to hear you liked the ship and were happy also with service provided by the crew on board by keeping it clean and tidy. Your fellow travellers really can make the trip sometimes, so it's great that you all got on well! We appreciate your feedback and these comments will be passed onto the relevant teams so that we can make improvements for the future. Thank you so much for joining us!
The scenery, the weather , the others , the drink and the music !

Hi! Thank you for your review. It's great to hear you enjoyed all of these aspects about your cruise on board Lastavica!
The itinerary was fantastic! The option for ebike made my experience so much better. The ship was clean and well run and all the Sail Croatia people were fantastic.
- Michael, 01/07/2019 21:44, Travelled Solo
Hi, thank you for your review. It's great to hear you had a fantastic time with us on your Cycling cruise! We do hope you can join us again. Thank you.

Thank you so much!
Firstly i have to say i had a great week doing Split to Dubrovnik. The boat we sailed on was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I do have to say how great our waiters were (Alena & Tommy) who brought a lot of fun and laughs however the chef and food could have been improved a lot. I know a lot of people on board were rather dissapointed by this. It would have also been nice to have a small thank you speech or something from our Sail Croatia tour manager instead we got nothing the morning of our departure which was rather odd and a bit disappointing after we spent a week together. We had a group of 40 people and i could not have asked for a better group of people to sail with.. Some people wanted to party every night while others wanted to take it a bit easy however everyone all got along great which was so awesome to see.

Hi there and thank you for your review! We are delighted you had a great week onboard and that the boat exceeded your expectations, and it's also fabulous news that you and your fellow travellers got along really well! We will pass your kind comments on to the waiters Alena and Tommy as we are sure they will appreciate it. In regards to the food onboard, our chef tries really hard to provide a wide range of meals, catering to all tastes and palates, however we understand that at times this is not possible. In saying this, we will pass your comments on to the appropriate departments, thank you for your comments on this! On all our ships, there are farewell drinks on the last night of your cruise, and this gives guests an opportunity to say goodbye to fellow guests, crew and Representatives. We are pleased that overall you had a fun week!
Had an enjoyable time on this cruise. The islands we visited were spectacular and the free, led by Ivan the skipper and Steve the head tour guide, were fantastic and were able to assist with any issues. Overall I had a great time and would highly recommend this as a great way to see Croatia from the water.

Thanks for taking the time to review our cruise! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your time visiting the hand-picked, and of course absolutely stunning destinations, and were well looked after by your guide. We couldn't agree with you more - travelling by sea is the best way to indulge yourself amongst the breathtaking Croatian coastline. Thank you for the recommendations!
All good

Thank you!
- John, 02/10/2018 06:17, Travelled with Family
We had cool people on-board (both crew and guests) and hat a lot of fun with everyone. Everyday we could swim and visit a new city, plus some extra activities. Very satisfied about the whole thing. Thanks
- Anonymous, 01/10/2018 12:41, Travelled with Family
Fantastic experience from booking (with no single person suppliment), to the staff involved in the boat and guides. Super affordable when taking into the fact you have accommodation for 7 nights and 2 meals a day, let alone the hikes. Sail Croatia provided me with the holiday of a lifetime and breathtakingly mountain and island port views. Thank you all.
- Stefan, 17/09/2018 08:59, Travelled Solo
Great cruise companions and great staff on the boat made this trip so easy to enjoy. Australians are people I would travel with anytime anywhere. The cruise stops were all very interesting and our host Antonio was very capable of filling us in on all the history and local information to make our trip so fulfilling.
- John, 05/08/2018 15:07, Travelled with Family
Great tour leader, friendly crew, decent breakfast and lunch included, good tours and excursions, good nights out and an unforgettable week in stunning Croatian islands!
- Daniel, 16/07/2018 08:12, Travelled Solo
NICE AND RELAXING TIME AT THE CRUISE. SPECIAL SERVICE
- SILVIA, 04/07/2018 01:55, Travelled with Family
The scenery of the islands, nightlife and food on board the ship was amazing! Also having both an indoor and outdoor pub on board was extremely handy. Daniel was also a great trip leader with a bunch of local knowledge.
- Matt, 02/07/2018 04:53, Travelled Solo
We enjoyed the cruise very much... friendly crew, good weather, great views! We particularly liked the size of the ship. The food was very good... but it would have been nice to have greater choice. Very disappointed not having tea or coffee available all day. As water in cabins undrinkable, water bottles should have been available in the rooms. Spending so little time in Hvar and Dubrovnik was disappointing and only 3 stops for swimming was also surprising. Family night and the Captain's Dinner was a lot of fun! Overall, we enjoyed ourselves but thought the company could have made it better at little additional cost.

Recommendation from others
- John, 02/10/2017 20:40, Travelled with Family
I have been on several cycling holidays but what attracted me to this one was the combination of cycling and sailing. Everywhere you went in Croatia there were stunning views and although the cycling was quite challenging at times it was well worth it to see yet more stunning views at the top of a climb. The guides were great fun and the staff on board were fantastic. Food was 1st class and the remaining cyclists were a great bunch. If I was to make one criticism, and I am reluctant to do so it would be that the organisation of the rides could have been better. I felt that there should have been three staff on each ride one at the front.who nobody should pass, one in the middle to wait by junctions to show people which way to go and one at the back to bring in the taill enders. This is no reflection on the tour leaders who were all excellent. I would certainly recommend this trip to anyone and I intend doing the Southern Route next year, Thanks for a fabulous holiday.
- Anthony, 02/10/2017 07:51, Travelled Solo
Spending a week with 40 awesome people and a fantastic tour guide (Mario) & crew was the best! Unfortunately a few (including myself) got quite sick while away, but these things happen and I tried not to let it deter me from the crazy awesomeness that is Sail Croatia!
- Luke, 25/09/2017 11:48, Travelled Solo
The cruise was every thing we hoped it would be. Stan ourruise director was great making sure everyone felt included. The food was good only critism was lack of coffee on tap.i would have been happy to pay a little more for this facility. We are thinking of taking another cruise with your company
- Michael, 19/09/2017 07:35, Travelled with Family
Our Elegance cruise was just that, very spacious and modern boat being the Olimp. The crew were very caring and Mia kept us well informed every day of activities. You could be as busy or relaxed as you wanted to be, Our daily lunch was huge and varied. We never felt crowded as there was plenty of room around the boat. Disappointments was being allocated twin beds upon upgrading to a upper deck room. The bar tab at the end is something to watch. There is no price list for the bar and we had to trust a pencil ledger at the end with no dates or prices. We only used the bar on two nights one being half price wine night, (7 wines, 1 beer) and the captains dinner 2 bottles red $65AUD each, 3 wines, 1 beer. 2 beers during the day. This came to over $400AUD total for the 4 of us travelling. Should have reviewed before paying as something was clearly wrong. My suggestion would be drinks to be signed off as ordered and prices given. Others had warned us prior re Sail Croatia bar tabs.
- Susan, 17/09/2017 03:37, Travelled with Family
Almisa Blu crew and rep were awesome! Professional and helpful all the time. They were approachable and gave a lot of local knowledge. We had a great group of travellers which generated really good atmosphere.
- Hamish, 11/09/2017 05:05, Travelled Solo
The food made by the chef was brilliant and varied every day. The air conditioning was so powerful in our rooms that it made sleeping in them so easy and satisfying. Some of the optional excursions were well run and an enjoyable experience (particularly the zip wiring and the buggies)
- Anonymous, 21/08/2017 10:26, Travelled Solo
Small cruise was a great way to meet new people. Cameraderie was excellent. Guides were wonderful people, super friendly. And why not?
- John, 21/08/2017 05:16, Travelled Solo
The highlight of the cruise was swimming in the Adriatic Sea, and relaxing on the Olimp. We enjoyed daily visits to the islands, and would have preferred to have more time in Hvar and been able to moar at Bol rather than the other side of the island.
- Sandra, 15/08/2017 08:21, Travelled with Family
We sailed Dubrovnik-Split with a lovely group & fantastic rep, Stanko. Stan was very informative and looked after our needs very well. The opportunity to see the islands & swim in lovely clear water from the boat was superb. We combined this with. Game of Thoines tour in both Dubrovnik and Split which made the area even more interesting.
- Simon, 15/08/2017 06:52, Travelled with Family
Thank you for your review - we are so happy to hear you enjoyed your time on our cruise and in Croatia as a whole. Thank you for your feedback on your rep Stan - we will be sure to pass this on. We hope you enjoyed the Game of Thrones tour. Thanks again.
The weather and the beautiful waters
- Paul, 01/08/2017 18:54, Travelled with Family
The cruise was poorly planned in regards to ratios for solo travellers. All dudes and all in a group already leaves little for a solo traveller to appreciate. Having said that the crew made the trip. With particular mention to Georgia. Her commitment to people on the ship (not appreciated by all) created an experience that redeemed sail croatia in my eyes. Her work and professionalism is the only reason I would recommend Sail Croatia to my mates travelling in groups. Great week but not without the hard work of the rep and the crew.
- Anonymous, 24/07/2017 14:21, Travelled Solo
Absolutely loved our time on the boat and saw so much of beautiful Croatia. The boat facilities were amazing and our children loved it. Only change I would have made would be to have more child friendly meals given it was a family cruise.
- Anonymous, 12/07/2017 12:08, Travelled with Family
The best part of this trip is definitely the places that we went to that made my experience so rememberable. I did everything that I wanted to do out of this trip. Dubrovnik, Korcula, Mljet, Hvar, such beautiful places to see and to explore. I will definitely book another cruise like this in the future to revisit these places again.
- Anthony Dabor, 26/06/2017 06:48, Travelled Solo
The beautifull Croatia landscapes!!! Very comfortable boat made the trip very interesting. Navigating every morning for such beautiful scenery and docking at lunch time to visit the places of destination made the itinerary very interesting. Highly recommend!
- Maria, 23/05/2017 16:43, Travelled with Family
Active Croatia, hiking tour, first week October: Positives: The group were all great fun. Ages ranged from mid 20s to mid 60s along with the consequential mixed abilities. The slow were determined to get up the hills and the fast were patient and supportive. The evenings and dinners were comradely and a dose of \"Cards against humanity\" tore up all inhibitions. The hikes were good and varied. What could have been better: The boat, not having hot-water available for showers after a sweaty walk on some days was poor. Our guide was not a walking guide and did very well given she didn\'t know the routes and we got lost a few times. She and her colleague were personally great and did really well but we paid for a guide not a guide\'s learning experience. Advice: Croatia\'s weather is changeable at this time of year, I hadn\'t realised just how cold the cold days were (8 oC). If you\'re going this late have some warm clothing with you. Overall a lovely trip, would highly recommend
- Michael, 10/10/2016 15:39, Travelled with Family
The boat cabin (tvrdi) was cramped and stifling hot, the beer on the boat was a little more expensive than expected, but it was all worth it for one hell of a time! 38 people who all had one thing in common. They wanted to make memories (and lose some). If it's a party you want the navigator cruise is your choice. DEEP CLUB, HULA HULA, CARPE DIEM AND BOOGIE JUNGLE are the nights to be excited for. Stay AWAY from revelling in dubrovnik.
- Martyn, 22/08/2016 03:44, Travelled Solo
Travelling Solo was a great way to experience this Sail week. Met so many new friends and all the staff were amazing on board, always wanted us to have a good time and would met our needs on any situation. Great to see so many areas of Croatia and were well informed on each spot we docked up. It is a trip you make what you make of it so a positive vibe and the willingness to try something new at every opportunity will see an epic week had and shared with others. Cant recommend it enough, but would do it again in a heart beat
- Samuel, 17/07/2016 14:46, Travelled Solo
The staff and the other guests on the cruise were awesome and they made the whole trip very special. Only criticisms I had were very minor. (Wasn't allowed cheese and bacon in my omelette, only one or the other. Ice in drinks was hard to come, 1 litre of water wasn't enough and wifi was a bit dodgey) Very minor but if I'm paying top dollar for the premier plus boat I would think small things like should be available. On a side note things like stand up paddles boards on the boat for use during swim stops would be the coolest thing ever! Just a suggestion. Overall I still had an amazing time and would definitely come back if I had the chance. Thank you for a lovely week.
- Tristan, 15/07/2016 09:27, Travelled with Family
My Husband and I really enjoyed this cruise. The crew was wonderful and accommodated any request we had.- specifically my dietary needs for lunch as we both do not eat sea food and I don't eat beef, pork, lamb, etc. Our rooms were clean and spacious for the size of the boat. The swim times/spots were also great! . The only issue I had was the age of the other guests. We are closing in at 60 and the other guests were more in their 30's. My Husband didn't mind; however, I did. Lastly, I think a little Croatian music would have given the atmosphere a more authentic feel..
- John, 04/07/2016 17:15, Travelled with Family
The islands, Dubrovnik and Anna.
- David, 20/06/2016 06:18, Travelled Solo
The boat was very good and the tours well thought out. I love Croatia and the islands. A very relaxing holiday it was above my expectations. The down side was that water, tea and coffee should be included all day every day. Unfortunately I felt like the staff and boat were on rations, I would reather pay a bit more and have these things available. In all I loved the trip and would do it again.
