My wife and I traveled through the islands of Hvar, Brac, Vis, Korkula, and Mljet with Sail Croatia. Our guide was Vicko. Vicko was quite knowledgeable and interesting as regards the individual islands, reviewing their history as far back as the period of Ancient Greek colonization. The entry into Korkula was especially amazing as the boat coursed the Adriatic between the mainland and the island. My wife and I will always remember this trip with great happiness. A beautiful place and a wonderful experience.

The Katarina yacht, the crew , and destinations was an excellent way to Travel. My wife and I truley enjoyed the experince of traveling together and meeting a great group of humble and descreat guests. The tour manager was excellent with great tips daily to explore. He also was amazing with co ordinating and delivering my wifes suit case to the yacht when the airline lost her luggage. Mission impossible Thankyou .

My wife and I arrived in Dubrovnik 3 days before the cruise. We settled into the local time zone and thoroughly enjoyed the fortified town. We had only been on one previous cruise - on a huge ship. We found the small boat with about 35 guests a lovely size - allowing for some “getting to know” each other that didn’t happen on the big cruise ship. The boat is fantastic. We saw more modern boats but felt no envy. This boat is elegant with its beautiful polished wood. The room was more spacious than we expected, and never jostling for spots to sit/enjoy in the common areas. The stops along the way were delightful, beautiful, interesting. The food was absolutely excellent. Only complaint is about my own lack of restraint!! Our leader, Vedran, was entertaining as all heck. Fun to watch/listen to. Thank you!!

We chose Sail Croatia’s Elegance trip - Split Return South, in Sept 2026, and it was splendid! The Olimp is a beautiful, spotless ship, and the food and service aboard were both excellent. Anita, our Sail Croatia tour director was awesome, and kept us informed about our ports of call, what to see, available excursions, where to dine, and she even made reservations. First Class service all the way! The Dalmatian Coast from Split to Dubrovnik is magnificent, and they take you to so many wonderful towns and natural oases in between them. The other great part of our trip was the many friends we made with our fellow travelers - so many interesting people from all over the world. We had a marvelous vacation and look forward to our next Sail Croatia adventure!

One of the best holidays we have had. Olimp was a superb yacht and exceeded expectations. The Staff and Crew could n't have been more helpful, the all-round service was all we could ask for. Good food all the way. The Captain found some beautiful secluded swim stops each day, they were probably one of the best parts. The whole cruise was so relaxing, with daily visits to new locations, the ability to get into smaller ports with pretty towns was so much nicer . Our tour guide provided lots of information about where to go, what to do and where to eat, the organised tours were well led. Best of all we met some lovely people and left with good friends and many happy memories

Thank you to the entire crew with Katrina. Captain Ivan was fantastic and had a 3 piece band during the Captain’s dinner . They had everyone singing and dancing. Karlo , Ivana and the rest of the crew made us feel relaxed and at home right from the beginning. They always seemed to be there when we wanted something or had a question. The swimming stops along the way were fantastic and beautiful. Last but not least our tour guide Klara who was personable and knowledgeable concerning everything that came up. Was a great time on the Queen Jelena -- Vedrun our tour manager was lovely and super informative. Ship was elegant and rooms were a good size, Food was overall very good onboard. A great way to relax and see Croatia without the trouble of moving hotels. Would be good if the ship left the coffee machine on all day. Also, Sail Croatia should include a few drinks per meal as part of the package. But definitely worth it -- an amazing vacation!

Fantastic cruise from Split to Dubrovnik. Crew were excellent and provided seamless service throughout. Swim stops before docking at each island were a highlight. Additionally we really enjoyed the wine tour on Korcula and the bike trip on Mjet. Food was excellent, although lunches were a bit heavy - maybe consider lighter options, particularly where evening meals are planned. Cabin was very comfortable and clean.

Having just 20 passengers on board compared to the thousands on those floating cities was the perfect, relaxing holiday that allowed us to actually experience the coast and islands of Croatia. The crew of the Romantic Star cannot be complimented enough. From the serving staff to the chef and sous chef to the captain and deckhands. And especially our cruise director, Lola, who managed to keep us all entertained and on time, fielding texts and calls at all hours. Congratulations to every body connected to the cruise .the booking was seamless, the pickup at Dubrovnik Airport by a charming lady started the cruise off on a good footing, The captain and crew of the OLIMP were very profetional and then there was DINO tour leader /manager who did a great outstanding job .he was backed up by the girls in the salon/dineing area and the house staff welldone to all and many thanks .My only problem was the accustics in the dineing room hard to have a meaning conversation ,also the lack of sunbeds (5) but as the ship is going to a refit i expect this has been brought to your attention .coulld i suggest that The Captains dinner be held early in the cruise rather than the end .Ihave cruised twice with I.D.Riva on the ship Carpe Diem and ship Aria both great cruises but you have edge on them, bigger ship and more nationallities next year idd like ro see Sibenik or Montenegro any ideas ? Ihave been with Celebrity ,Princess, and NOL in the past you are no 1

We loved our weeklong cruise from SPLIT to DUBROVNIK on ESPERANZA. Everything about it was simply wonderful. The staff and crew were amazing, the chef and food delicious, the swim locations and ports were wonderful. Two suggestions: get better and stronger coffee without asking for extra payments—everyone on board was very unhappy with the quality. Also….hooks in the bedroom sections of the cabins for a quick hang up of clothes rather than the wardrobe. Bathrooms had hooks but the main section of the cabins could use them as well. .

We had the best experience n memories from this cruise ! It’s the first time we have ever done a small cruise like this ! It’s the prefect way to learn more about Croatia ! We loved the fact that we docked in a new town/ island every night where we can discover or do an activity during the day and find a place for dinner ! breakfasts are provided And a 3 course lunch ! The meals were all very nicely Presented and always hot ! In this cruise we also had a very fun captains dinner and a village dinner ! We loved the lamb pekka - still dreaming of how tasty it was ! Our cabin was very comfortable as we were very lucky to get the one in front and we had ample room and very comfortable! 1 thing that can be improved is to put an electrical fan in the cabin as the air con was not strong enough ! kudos must be given to the cleanliness of the Katarina boat ! crew is constantly cleaning and I have not seen a cleaner boat .. and finally the crew ! Dino was a very good tour leader, esp. nominating specific restaurants to eat evening meals at on each island we frequented. The crew were attentive, the cabin cleaning staff were top notch. Swim stops were great. Food was good but there seemed to be an extensive use of puréed vegetables! Music played non stop inside the boat even if no one was there? Still, a good experience.

The cruise from Split to Dubrovnik on the Romantic Star yacht was wonderful. To take things step by step: a beautiful yacht, a comfortable and cozy cabin, and impeccable cleanliness and order maintained on board. Dino, the tour manager, was exceptionally caring—always ready to help, explain, and go above and beyond for the guests' well-being. The entire crew worked efficiently, seamlessly, and unobtrusively. Everything was simply great. However, it could have reached an even higher standard if not for the food on board. There is definitely room for improvement here. Can what is shown in the photo really be called a salad? Also, given the high price of such a short cruise, the company wouldn't go broke providing a bottle of drinking water in the guests' cabins every day. To repeat, everything was five-star, but it could be truly unforgettable with better food quality and a few extra small touches.

This was our second time with Sail Croatia and as our previous cruise the whole experience was absolutely superb, Lead by their Captain every member of the crew work so hard to make your trip memorable. It was very fair, the weather was excellent and the staff on the ship were very good. Friendly, helpful and provide excellent service. The food on board were excellent and both the chef and his helper did an exception job. Considering with a small kitchen and serve 29 people daily. Your manager did a excellent job. The biggest issues is the itinerary. Way too much idle time. I am a veteran of river cruises and this is certainly no comparison to those programs. May I suggest that perhaps add some more activities to each island that we visited. Alternate lunch and dinner on board. On the final stop, Dubrovnik, sail pass with the view of the old town must be added. For the life of me, I can't believe we didn't do it. Instead we had a swim just outside for an hour just to wait for docking, is the fuel that expensive?

It was the most relaxing and interesting week in the company of a crew devouted to our every need and a Sail Croatia rep who made the whole week so enjoyable. The food was delicious and the staff were warm, friendly and always attentive. The trip from Split to Dubrovnik return over seven days was made even more enjoyable by our Tour Manager Nicos. We landed in Dubrovnik only to discover our trip on another line cancelled. Stunned and scrambling for other options we came across Sail Croatia and reached their UK office on a Saturday morning regarding their Sunday sail date. They couldn’t be kinder or more accommodating to us. They had a few room options available on the Esplenade and suggested we come to the port to see for ourselves. The boat was great… we signed up and set sail. Given our previously planned trip was part of a group, we really hadn’t thought about what might or might not be included with the Sail Croatia cruise, but my wife and I could not have been more pleased. The crew was fantastic, the food was exceptional, the care for the boat was immaculate, and the trip guide Klara was a surprise beyond any expectation - she was sweet, funny, informative and helpful, We fell in love with the islands, the Dalmatian people, the culture and Sail Croatia. Our cruise on the Esperanza with Sail Croatia from Split to Dubrovnik was an unforgettable experience. The itinerary was fantastic, taking us to beautiful destinations including Vis, the Blue Cave, Brač, Hvar, Mljet and Korčula. A particular highlight was cycling through Mljet National Park with our newly made friends from the cruise, as well as visiting a remote village and enjoying authentic local dishes. Every stop offered something unique and memorable. A huge thank you to our Tour Manager, Klara, whose professionalism and warm personality helped make the trip so enjoyable. Special thanks also to Ivo and Mio for their outstanding service and friendliness throughout the cruise. My wife and I had a fantastic time traveling from Dubrovnik to Split ! Everyone on the crew were amazing! I so many things made this Cruise incredible. Let me start with the tour director Dino who is a constant source of energy, smiles, good humour and professionalism. The rest of the crew were very thorough, friendly and expert in their different fields. The captain "Gorgeous" George is truly a Master Mariner and no surprise that he comes from generations of seafarers. The food was outstanding. Drink selection was okay and locations that we visited were excellent and the daily highlight was the swim stops. I thoroughly recommend the "Olimp" vessel cruise through Sail Croatia to anybody looking for a 7 day five-star Croatian cruise experience.

WOW! what a wonderful experience on this beautiful boat the OlIMP. I’ve never been on a boat before and perhaps a little nervous but let me assure you. It was the most amazing experience. The staff were fabulous and as for Ivan he made our time trouble free,so informative of Croatia and the coastline with its history which was stunning. Having perfect weather was so nice sitting out on the deck meeting new people and looking out of that wonderful coastline with the most glorious coloured sea thank you very much. This was a great experience. Vin did a great job coordinating all of the wine tastings and providing excellent background to each destination. Also, Tony and Henry did a great job with the bar service and meal service. The food was excellent and the chef did a great job. The only issue was one of the wine tasting destinations had a problem with the bus not being available for returning us to the marina. Several vans were ordered to accommodate everyone's return trip. It was amazing from start to finish, staff were so friendly, the food that came out the small kitchen was absolutely delicious , our tour guide was so informative, he booked restaurants for us , bars, knew everything about every area we stopped he couldn’t have been any better , we had daily swim stops which were beautiful, full breakfasts, 3 course lunches , tea and biscuits, I was really sceptical when booking , but it is one of the best holidays I have been one , anyone debating on going with sail Croatia , please don’t it was amazing and I will definitely be doing another one

Katerina is owned and crewed by the family. This is a 5 star rating. Ship is spotless and crew are the best. Owner and crew (mostly family and cousins) are so attentive to every detail. Meals: adequate and enjoyable but not outstanding. Captains' dinner was very good. Activities: not memorable. Walking tour in Dubrovnik was boring. Ship provided dinner was not impressive. Should have stayed in port and gone to local restaurant Ioana our tour director was 5 stars' She had to deal with a lot of shifting itinerary and was a truly shing star for the passengers. Overall was a nice experience. Met a lot of good people and that was a big plus; Croatia is very expensive on the street Plan to spend some BIG $$ in local establishments. Overall, a check on our bucket list. Nice but would not do again

It was evident from the start that this was a cruise on a well maintained ship that was in family ownership - with family serving as captain and bar tender. We sailed on the Queen Jelena (Split North itinerary). Beautiful boat, really good crew. The food onboard was just OK, often just warm rather than hot. A 3 course lunch is not what most people have day to day at home and the thoughts from fellow passengers were thst this was a bit rigid and maybe a buffet style lighter lunch would be better as it felt you had breakfast and a couple of hours later a large lunch making you lethargic. Trips were ok, village dinner was good, buggy trip was good but not best value. More time needed in Dubrovnik as it beautiful, I would skip the walking tour (pointless) and enjoy more time exploring yourself. All stops on this itinerary were beautiful. One last point; the daily briefing should be carried out using the TV in the saloon as shown on the website content so you can actually get a visual idea of your day ahead. The WhatsApp group is useful when it's set up. Overall a good experience, 7.5/ 10

This trip was organised by my wife,Tracy, having never cruised before my expectations were low, however from the time we arrived on the boat to the time we left the experience was exceeded. We meet 36 people who we had never met before from America, Canada, Barbados and the UK, we had so much fun. The ship’s crew were fun and worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our time onboard. We booked sail Croatia cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary and have never cruised before. We were a little skeptical in the beginning if this would be right for us. But we absolutely LOVED this small group setting the swim stops, the food, the ship and rooms were absolutely great.. We had wished that there were pool noodles as my husband isn't a big swimmer. The pillows in the rooms were not very supportive - but all in all we would absolutely come back for a Sail Croatia cruise! First of all the added costs. Quite a few of the added activities were charged. The prices when converted to Australian dollars were quite expensive. Recommended tipping at the end was very high and this was noted by other passengers as well. We were looking at around AU$700 for the service. Considering how much we paid for the cruise wevconsidered it unreasonable to expect extra charges like this on top. Meals. Breakfasts were very nice. However, some of the lunches were variable in quality. Generally, the entree and deserts were fine but some of the main courses were not to liking. Captains dinner was disappointing. The Entertainment was noisy: not allowing any kind of conversation between the passengers. As an older couple, we found the loud music and tactic singing and dancing to be a bit disconcerting. Nikos and Ivanka were both friendly and always helpful. 5 stars to both of them. Also, the cabin was comfortable and clean and about was beautifully presented.

Captain clearly had tremendous expertise and also found great spots for swim stops. Finally, I figure that you in general select really good people, but I can t believe anyone is as good as Vicko. He is simply outstanding: personable, knowledgeable, informative, and entertaining. Gave him a 5 only because the scale didn't go higher. A couple of very minor things: some things like "noodles" to float in the water would be nice, and recycling for paper and cans on the ship would be a good idea. All in all, just great.

First, the small ship concept is what sets Sail Croatia apart from other cruises. We saided on the Romantic Star in cabin #1. This may have been the best cabin on the ship. It was roomy and the bathroom was bigger than our bathroom on the Discovery Princess. Where Sail Croatia excels is the cruise director. Anita was absolutely amazing. We would sail with her anywhere. The cruise itinerary was perfect and Anita always gave us a pre-arrival briefing with tips for a great outing. It rained one day so Anita switched our activity to a winery, which was a hit with the passengers. A cruise director who can think on their feet and fix problems is worth their weight in gold. The chef staff did a great job. It was irritating that the coffee machines were only available during breakfast. They need to be available all day with newer, higher-capacity machines. Finally, the toilet seat was broken in cabin #1 before we arrived and needs to be replaced.

There are many Accolades use to Discribe the Most recent Olimp Sail-Croatia Cruise from Split to Dubrovnik! It was Relaxing, Informative and Right Sized! The Crew use attentive to our wants and needs, the Food was delicious and the Lunches were diverse. You offer transfers from airport to boat, but not hotel to boat, I cannot see the difference in going to airport or a hotel? We had 2 hot showers at of 7 days - this is unacceptable. We were on the Esperanza which is an excellent facility. The food and service were outstanding. I think every port stop should include a walking tour. I think it would be good to have the boat docked while we are at lunch so you could walk off immediately after lunch. Our cruise director Mia worked very hard to keep everything organized. Unfortunately she is difficult to understand as her speech is very rapid fire. The guests got to know each and all were friendly. Lovely overall experience!

The boat was spotless, the staff were really helpful and polite. Ioana our tour manager was great, always on the ball organising everything and tailoring the trips to suit the guests. We visited some beautiful places and got to see them in the daytime and evening as we were in port overnight. We did have a slight hiccup with one lunchtime meal when nearly half the guests had an upset stomach after eating the tuna. This could be something that they need to look at and maybe learn from. That been said I would definitely holiday with the company again, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Sailing on the Olimp with Sail Croatia was, overall, a very good experience. The boat itself was fantastic, and the crew were excellent. However, a couple of things did take the shine off the trip. Firstly, in the cabins there’s a constant whirring from the extractor fans throughout the night. The air-conditioning is fine, but these bathroom fans never switch off. We asked for them to be turned off, which they kindly did on the first night, but for the rest of the week we had to put up with the noise—such a shame. Secondly, breakfast was always served in the dining area, which is air-conditioned, but with all the doors kept closed the sound of 30 people chatting becomes deafening. It seems such a missed opportunity not to let guests spread out onto the aft deck, where there’s fresh air and space for the noise to dissipate.

our guide, Vedran, combined with the absolutely lovely ship Queen Jelena and it's expert captain/owner (Gordan? sorry), combined for a wonderful experience. Exploring the Dalmatian Coast this way was amazing and everything we hoped it would it be, and was so much more. Vedran informed, educated, coddled and tolerated all of us crazy tourists with grace, humor, and bottomless patience. The captain found us the most beautiful swimming spots each day, and navigated through the islands so smoothly, especially during the few rough waters we had. The boat is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and relatively brand new (2018)! My only quibbles would be with the kitchen. The Captain's dinner was one of the best meals we had in our 2 weeks in Croatia (and probably the most fun!), and all the lunches were lovely (though the chef could have used a lighter touch with the tuna steaks and racks of lamb to better represent his skills). We just wish the breakfast window was longer and less rigid.

It was the perfect trip! I have seen most of the World, but this made the rest 6 or 7 compared to this trip being a 10!!! The crew was wonderful, especially our tour guide. Extremely informative and full of energy and enthusiasm. The sights of the places visited were will remain with me forever. The other outstanding part of the trip was the meeting of the other travelers on the Romantic Star. Very well traveled from all different countries. We all got along so well together. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We thought that lunches were of fine dining quality. The balance of on-board versus port side time was wonderful as was the freedom to explore on our own. The whole crew was very friendly, and our fellow travelers were a delight. The ship was immaculately fitted out, crew were friendly, helpful and courteous. Food was substantial and generally good standard. But not gourmet as photography on brochures suggested. The islands were interesting and great to explore, however, a couple had very little to keep us occupied and exploring( notably Brac). Sail Croatia events coordinator was always helpful and available to help and plan for each stopover.. We felt that more entertainment in evenings even one more early on in cruise would have brought guests and crew together . The evening dinner on one of the islands was extremely disappointing, both for location and the meal itself.

We sailed on the Wine Cruise on Romantic Star in July 2025. The ship, the crew and our tour guide, Ivana, were amazing. We loved the destinations and the unique wine tasting experiences. The food on ship was fantastic, and took care of special dietary needs. We were guided by Ivana, our incredible Tour Guide. She made us feel at home and gave us excellent, personalised advice for activities in port. Cannot recommend highly enough. We loved our cruise. Thank you Sail Croatia, Romantic Star, and Ivana.

Our cruise on the Olimp from Dubrovnik to Split was fabulous. Ioana the cruise excursion director was the so organized. Ioana set the Vibe for the whole cruise right from the beginning. Ioana paid attention to details she listened to what people wanted and made sure that she provided clear information and instructions, both verbally and through the what’s app. Captain Jure and crew all were very professional and friendly making sure were safe and truly cared about our enjoyment. The rooms were cleaned beautifully everyday by Nicolina. Sail Croatia was the best choice for us. If you book with Sail Croatia you will not be disappointed.

Trip was made by a great crew. Easy and relaxed. My only comment as most are couples I would have liked to go for a paddle board with my wife. Perhaps another paddle board and other recreational water sports toys. But that me. A active relaxer.

Our cruise was made exceptional by the itinerary organised by the tour manager Ivana Mateja, captain and the crew on board Romantic Star. The locations and excursions we visited at each stop on our way from Split to Dubrovnik were well organised and each wine tasting event was amazing! Every member of the crew was friendly and welcoming and made us feel that we were on an exclusive and unique holiday. The food was delicious and high quality, and beautifully presented. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious.

We loved Croatia. Esperanza and its crew were very good. The difficult issue for us was the tipping. It was quite an expensive holiday in the first place and the tour manager suggested tipping around 10%. Made us feel awkward.

The accommodations on the ship were awesome and the water and views of Croatia breathtaking and the excursions on to the island were just right. The boat Katerina was wonderful, and looked brand new although several years old. The captain and the rest of the crew were very friendly and provided excellent service. The itinerary and included tours were all good, and the country looked beautiful. Excellent weather also helped. Tour manager V was always available and provided great information and assistance when required.

Fabulous, friendly helpful crew & fun, informative, well organised tour leader. A few little things would make it a 6 star experience. A box to help get in & more importantly out of the small boat at the blue cave for those with short legs and limited mobility - This trip is overpriced at 25 euros - it’s a 15 minute 15 euro experience at best. A washing line in the shower in the cabin to dry your swim wear would also be good. That said a great tour visiting beautiful islands. Food on board was excellent, swim stops were well chosen & cycling round the lakes a joy. The retractable stairs into the water at the swim stops made the trip as my partner could swim off the boat without fearing she could not get back on the boat.

After spending two weeks on a 5000 passenger cruise ship in the Caribbean in November last year, it was the total opposite experience travelling on Romantic Star. Not only did we have plenty of space to relax , but also were able to befriend fellow passengers in the first couple of days, which was impossible on the other ship. Life time friendships made. Staff all very friendly and totally helpful. We were made to feel important, which does not happen on a large cruise ship. The daily swim stops were great as were the buffet breakfasts and 3 course lunches. The islands visited were similar but different. Our host Vitak was charming and most informative during his regular 10 am talks. We would have no hesitation in returning to sail with Sail Croatia. Perhaps they could think about branching out to take in more northern islands , which I think would be popular for returning guests.

We had the best week on the Esperanza. Ivana our onboard cruise manager was amazing, such a lovely person, and the boats crew were first class. The boat was spotless, food great and service excellent. The weather was perfect, swim stops relaxing, town visits interesting and the Captains dinner a fun night. It was a trip that has provided a life long memory.

We looked into many options and ultimately picked the Elegance cruise from Split to Dubrovnik on the Olimp. We had high expectations and it exceeded them. The Sail Croatia tour director (Ivan) was amazing — funny, informative, transparent. The ship and its crew were also excellent. It was recently renovated and all the systems including the AC worked well which was key because there was a heat wave when we were there. The swim stops were excellent and the swimming platform made it easy for everyone to access the sea. Just an amazing trip, staff, and fun group of fellow passengers. Highly recommended. Great job Ivan!

Just back from a fabulous week aboard Queen Jelena on the Elegance cruise from Split to Dubrovnik. Our ship was immaculate and our experienced captain chose idyllic places for us to swim every day, and quaint towns and villages to visit. The crew were all excellent particularly Pamela and Ema who were super attentive. Our tour representative Anita was exceptional, keeping us up-to-date throughout, making dining suggestions, and brought together our fellow guests so that we were all a big family by the end of our cruise. One of the most scenic, friendly and relaxing holidays we've had, highly recommended 👍

This was one of our best experiences in cruising. what made it great, the beautiful croatian islands, the swim stops en route,, our fellow travelers to which by cruise end felt more like family. and the opportunity to explore in each stop, without time limits to be back on boat. Being in a port each stop overnight is such a plus. Our cruise director, Anita, was a joy, a blessing to have and she made the experience 10 plus stars. The Jelena crew was outstanding and the ships accommodations were great as was the food. Do it, you won’t regret

The Olimp is a beautiful, well equipped cruise ship. The ship and rooms were extremely clean. Our above-deck bedroom was equipped with a large, comfortable double bed and en-suite shower room. The saloon, where we had our meals, was roomy and air-conditioned. Further seating was available outside the saloon. There was a hot tub on the top deck along with ample areas to lounge. A big plus was the swimming platform at the rear of the ship which made entering and leaving the water on our daily swim stops much easier. The food and service from the crew on board was excellent. In particular on the Captain’s dinner evening. We enjoyed our visits to all the islands on our route (Split-South-Split) and the informative walking tours.

We were very lucky to have the best cruise director Ioana who provided a fantastic experience for all Guests onboard the ship of approximately 17 guests. My highlights included the Blue Cave experience, Captains Dinner ( my terrible dancing) plus very interesting walking tours including Dubrovnik, Korcula and Split. Also Everyone including the Captain, crew and staff were always very accommodating with any extra requests during the cruise. A truly memorable experience with genuine friendships gained from other cruise guests which made it like being with family. Thanks Sail Croatia for my bucket list trip of Croatia. Nikos gets my highest accolade. As a host, he did whatever he could do to take care of everything and everyone. The captain was talented, friendly and like Nicos, always had a warm friendly smile. Dragon, Nicolett, the rest of the staff were excellent. The places we saw were wonderful. The swim stops were something that almost everyone looked forward to.

Pros: Crew was great overall. The bartenders/servers were fantastic. Breakfast was fine to good and met expectations. Croatia is a beautiful country and our tour guide/runner was a local that was very knowledgeable in this aspect. Cons: Lunch was in general, underwhelming for the cost. My wife is a health nut, and I saw her salt food for the first time in my life. When paying this premium on price I would expect the food to be more elevated, or at least more enjoyable. The video implied more access to the boat than we received. Several small requests - like opening windows, screens, etc were denied and the requests themselves often felt as if we were asking the staff to move mountains. Tour guide was not particularly friendly, often had condescending responses to guests, & occasionally left out vital info when visiting particular islands (i.e cash only). Unfortunately, the experience on the cheaper options is probably more reflective of the value you receive on the Elegance line.

I wish we could visit the ports in the morning instead of being on the boat. The weather was so hot we just didn't want to go out exploring the port until 7PM. Food and crew on the boat were excellent, as well as our Sail Croatia rep really trying to make the afternoon excursions work smoothly.

Maureen comma my wife, comma and I could not have experienced a better cruise than the Katarina. The ship was brand new, the captain was dynamic, the crew was superb. The food and the ambience was bar none. The ability to see Croatia on a small ship like this is the only way to see this beautiful country. State rooms were incredibly clean and well kept every single day. Service, food, and just laid back comfort with no pressures by being on a very small ship is the only way to go. Congratulations to this stellar crew and this magnificent boat that made our trip one of the best that we’ve ever taken abroad.

I felt like I was living the lifestyle of the rich and famous. There was a new town everyday--and we had good to great meals at them. (If I yelped or did restaurant reviews we would have had more great meals.) (The boat provided breakfast and lunch and dinners twice during the 7 day cruise.) I thought the food quality on the boat was excellent. I loved that we had a swimming stop everyday. The waters and coastal towns of Croatia are very beautiful. The crew was constantly cleaning the boat. Here are things that did not put me off but might put off some: fresh sheets and towels only once during the week, plastic bed lining under the sheets, if you are tall your feet may stick out past the bottom of the bed, there is only one choice of meal for lunch, unless you advise ahead that you don't eat fish, or don't eat meat, and then they will accommodate you. But for me the friendly crew and adventuresome fellow passengers and beautiful swim stops and towns made this a fantastic vacation.

For starters, the family-owned ship/crew 'Katarina' was superb in every way! The quarters and services were first class all the way! The cruise was Director (Mia) was completely professional and very helpful beyond her requirements. I would definitely rebook another cruise with 'Sail Croatia', and refer them to everyone I know. The food was great, the ship was kept spotlessly clean, the swim stops were wonderful, and the service was above and beyond. In addition to Anita, who seemed to anticipate all our needs, a special shout-out to master sailor Dragan and waiters Hrvoye and Toni for their helpfulness and friendliness. We didn't love the wine tasting/tour on Korčula, but that's a minor glitch in an otherwise fabulous week.

Our second trip to Croatia was very special for several reasons. The cruise itinerary was varied and excellent overall. Anita was a superb tour manager, always making an extra effort to make everyone happy. She communicates very well, is highly organized, works extraordinarily hard, and always has a smile on her face. The Romantic Star ship is well designed, very comfortable, and the food is healthy and tasty, We were also fortunate that the other passengers were friendly and interesting. I would definitely recommend this cruise to my friends. I do feel that more time should be spent on land. We often landed mid to late afternoon. I feel that the educational component should be enhanced (eg more discussion of Croatian history). I also feel that the ship should overnight in Komiza instead of Vis. But overall the experience was wonderful. Thank you!

The modern vessel the Olimp was sailed and managed by the fantastic crew and Captain to perfection. Just back from a fun-packed week on Katarina covering Split return south. Klara did a great job helping to organise onshore dining for the whole group. And the crew generally gave us a great time. Missoni Bar on Korcula was a highlight along with dinner at Mijet Island. Not forgetting the Captain's Dinner and the duo of guitarists, whose playing had everyone on the dance floor. This was my fourth visit to Croatia and has to be the best. I'll be back.

The swim stops were amazing! Everyday we would stop at somewhere incredible with crystal clear water, away from the world and have the place to ourselves. You could see the Croatian islands with ferries, lugging your luggage around, spend endless hours researching what to do, see and eat in each island or you could unpack once for the week, have recommendations made for you, no lugging luggage around, no watching where to place feet in pebble beaches with spiky sea urchins when you just jump straight in from the ship. We chose Katarina for its super yacht feel, and that it did! We were lucky to have only 15 in the group which meant having afternoon drinks alone in the hot tub or spending time with the others of the group should you want to, as we became a close knit family! Klara, our cruise director was fun, informative and always willing to assist us all. I’m not a history buff but her morning briefs was enough to get me interested and wanting to know more and she delivered

This cruise from Split took us out to several islands and on to Dubrovnik then back to Split. The amazing staff on Katarina never missed a beat the whole week looking after our every need. What a team! The boat had every luxury you could ask for and the food on board was amazing. The other guests on board also made it a very memorable trip as we all got along famously! Lastly our tour director Karla was the best we have ever had and we have travelled a lot! Her suggestions for on shore activities were fabulous and her professionalism was beyond words. Also her sense of humour definitely made things hum along nicely. We would certainly go back and enjoy another cruise if the opportunity pops up. Loved it!
