Wonderful! Improvement must be considered for highly excessive noise level in dining room. Requires acoustical treatment. Disappointing that meals were not served on outside tables! Missing towel bars or hooks to dry swimwear in rooms. Consider reducing swimming frequency for additional dock time at additional locations such as Havar & Split. All staff were very helpful, considerate and friendly!! Beautiful Ship!!!

This sail and hike was a live experience. The guides were great, always taking care of the group, all informations clear. The ship was good. What could have been better were the mattresses and at breakfast the coffee was not to my liking. The plases we visited were exellent. Thank you

Our tour guide Lola was incredible !!! she was easy to talk to and extremely helpful She helped us arrange water taxis and answered all of our questions. Lola was great !! We were extremely disappointed with the ship's itinerary. Had we knew that the daily swim stop was actually more than 1/2 a day of swimming and that most shore excursions were to start after lunch, Starting shore excursions at 3;00 or 4;00 is just too late . we would not have taken this cruise. We did not come to Europe to swim, we came to see and explore towns and sights. For instance we visited Milena which was a waste of a day, Nothing really to see. I wish we could have spent the time in Split which is a wonderful and interesting city.
- John, 06/10/2026 14:38, Travelled with Friend/s
The ship is very lovely. The mattress a bit soft for my liking and only 1 pillow is provided, which is silly. The company says it provides one beach towel and one bath towel. It also provides one face towel. What it does not say is that they changed your bath and face towel twice during the cruise. They never change your beach towel, and they don’t dry. It’s pretty gross. Beach towels should also be cleaned once or so per week. We use them every day. The daily itinerary should be reversed. We should go out on the islands in the morning and see the sites and have excursions, and come back to the ship in the afternoon for swimming and relaxing. The lunches are big and heavy, and are better suited for dinners. We could have lunch on our own on the island and dinner on the ship. The staff is amazing Truly helpful and accommodating. Coffee/tea/softdrinks should be included in the overall pricing. I would rather you charge a little bit more upfront and include those things
- Anonymous, 06/10/2026 07:55, Travelled with Friend/s
Great crew. Lola was incredible. Itinerary was a bit too light with the morning swim seeming like wasted time. Should charge a bit more and include more without additional charges (coffee, tea and soft drinks; more towels changed more often; greater food variety).

Our group of 20 sailed on Sail Croatia’s Elegance Cruise aboard Katarina in late September/early October & had a wonderful experience overall. Katarina is a beautiful luxury vessel. The food & drinks were excellent, while the captain, crew & Sail Croatia guide were incredibly welcoming & accommodating. The onboard experience exceeded expectations. Our disappointment was specifically with the late-season stop in Vela Luka. We spent an entire afternoon & evening there, but much of the town had already closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were shut, taxis & boats were unavailable & we couldn’t arrange transportation to nearby beaches. With our travel dates known well in advance, these seasonal limitations should have been considered. Our group of 20 would have gladly welcomed a different stop or extra time in Dubrovnik. Excellent vessel, food, crew & service—just disappointing itinerary planning for the time of year.

Thank you for your wonderful comments about Katarina and our onboard team! We're delighted to hear that the vessel, food and drinks exceeded expectations, and that our Captain, crew and Sail Croatia Representative made your experience so enjoyable. We're sorry that you found Vela Luka quieter than anticipated. Vela Luka is a scheduled destination on our Elegance itinerary, and while the seasonal operation of local businesses and transport providers is outside of our control, there were a number of options available during the stop, including a wine tasting excursion, Vela Spila and arrangements for guests interested in visiting nearby Proizd. The Captain's Dinner was also held onboard that evening. We appreciate your feedback regarding the late-season experience and have shared this with our Operations Team. We're very pleased that you and your group otherwise had such a wonderful experience aboard Katarina, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
We recently traveled on a Sail Croatia Elegance Cruise aboard the luxury vessel Katarina from Split to Dubrovnik in late September/early October. The onboard experience exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional—fresh, delicious & high quality. The drinks, boat, staff, captain, crew & our Sail Croatia guide were phenomenal & went above & beyond. Our only disappointment was Sail Croatia’s back-office itinerary planning. We spent an afternoon & evening in Vela Luka, only to find the town essentially closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were closed, there was little to do & no taxis or boats were available to reach nearby beaches. For a luxury cruise, seasonal closures should be considered when planning late-season itineraries. Another stop or extra time in Dubrovnik would have been a much better option. Katarina & the onboard experience were exceptional. We only wish the itinerary had matched the same high standard.

Thank you for your lovely comments about Katarina and our onboard team! We're delighted to hear that the food, vessel, Captain, crew and your Sail Croatia Representative exceeded your expectations. We're sorry that you found Vela Luka quieter than anticipated. Vela Luka is a scheduled part of our Elegance itinerary and, while local businesses and services operate independently and may vary throughout the season, a number of options were available during the stop, including a wine tasting excursion, visiting Vela Spila and arrangements for guests wishing to visit nearby Proizd. The Captain's Dinner was also held onboard that evening. We really appreciate your feedback regarding the late-season itinerary and have shared your comments with our Operations Team for consideration. Most importantly, we're so pleased that you had such an exceptional experience aboard Katarina, and we hope to welcome you back to Croatia in the future!
Really enjoyed my travel with Sail Croatia. Only real negative is that the filter coffee was not great. Loved our guides.

- fine but the food could have been better with healthier choices

Ivica and Antonio were terrific. The food was outstanding. The boat was great. The biking seemed to be going from A to B with little sightseeing.

Great week meeting new friends and seeing new sites. Excellent facilities and a great crew. Food was wonderful and plenty to eat.

Mate & Antonia were fantastic guides, the hikes were great and we were blessed with fantastic weather and calm seas. The food onboard was mostly good. The cabin was tiny however had air conditioning and an ensuite. Swim stops most days were fun. Was lovely walking around the various ports too. Croatia is a beautiful country and most of the locals speak English too.

Great crew - waiters Lucy and Geordie were great , always friendly, great attitudes . Chef made some really nice meals ; best gnocchi ever ! There were other crew that assisted us at various times , but did not get their names Guides Borna and Andre took good care of us and were very patient and professional . They regaled us with the history of where we were cycling . Sone of the most beautiful mountains I have ever cycled on - scenery was breathtaking! This trip really tested my stamina . The cabins need updating ; , new mattresses and pillows ;were just not comfortable. I would recommend this bike/boat trip to someone who wants a challenge

Natasa and Mario were excellent guide for our week long cycle and sail cruise. They were both very knowledgeable, providing interesting information and guidance for our travels. Both guides were well organized and skilled at presenting materials in an entertaining fashion. Peter, our server was also very friendly, personable and helpful. Natasa went out of her way to assist me which was greatly appreciated. All three staff members made our week most memorable and enjoyable. Thank you Natasa , Mario and Peter!

My husband and I loved the yacht and visiting the different locations along the coast. Every location was a little bit different, but all were beautiful. The common areas of the boat were never crowded and the daily swim stops were great. The cabin was spacious enough and remarkably quiet (lower deck). Our representative, Vicko, was so informative and humorous with his daily breifings of our itinerary, some history, and cultural tips. The wait staff/bartenders were so helpful and attentive. While generally, the food was good, I was a bit disappointed in their "accommodation" for our dietary needs. I told the booking agent before we booked about our dietary needs and she assured me it would be no problem. We verified this again shortly before the trip. We felt like our request was not fully conveyed to the chef and people supplying provisions on the boat, so it seemed like our alternative meals were kind of afterthoughts. The food did not measure up to the price of the trip.

Gorgeous boat, however there must be a better system for the toilets. They constantly smelt even when we arrived. A pair of tongs in the kitchen would be helpful. The head sail had not been checked and was requiring fixing by our crew. Other than that the Adriatic Sea was beautiful.

Thank you for sharing your review 3 star following your bareboat Yacht Charter aboard the catamaran Skyfall. We’re pleased you enjoyed the beautiful Adriatic and the catamaran overall. We’re sorry to hear about the issues with the toilets and headsail and have shared these comments, along with your suggestion regarding the kitchen equipment, with our team for review. Thank you again for your valuable feedback.
Very good, lots of fun. Lucky to have a great group and guides on board.

This was a beautiful cruise with wonderful swim stops and interesting ports every day. The breakfasts and lunches were very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the boat was kept very clean. There is not a lot of storage in the cabin, given the underbed area is taken up with life jackets. But after a day we had our storage needs figured out. They supply only basic bath amenities so bring your own, including washcloths. The shower was very weak and marginally warm a couple of days, other days it was cool. There were don't enough lines or hooks to hang wet swimwear to dry. The boat is not metal so bringing magnetic hooks doesn't help. This is only one of the very few ways to get to these small island ports. It's well worth the minor foibles on the boat.

Had an absolute blast of a time and met some life long friends!! JT was awesome, super helpful and fun, so glad we had him on our boat!!
- Anonymous, 28/09/2026 16:47, Travelled in a Couple
The sights and views are amazing, it’s a very beautiful scenic view, other than that there were a lot of issues, shot glasses on boat were never cleaned, they would just repour into the same glasses that were left on the table, very unsanitary, meals were okay most days but we were still worried about the sanitation of that too, our tour guide was awesome, crew was okay, wouldn’t port until after 2-3pm each day which seemed odd too, missed out on a lot of the morning scenes and shows at each stop, our itinerary from the website didn’t match at all to what we actually did, missed 2 of our stops and stayed in another location for 2 days instead of 1, they would blame the weather yet sky’s were clear the whole time, felt trapped on the boat some of the days, forced into “swim stops” that most people were not interested in and wanted to explore Croatia more. Met good people and had some fun besides those hiccups, nice way to see the most of Croatia in a 7 day span

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased you enjoyed Croatia’s incredible scenery, had a great experience with your Representative and met some wonderful people along the way. Small-ship cruises are designed with sailing in the morning, a midday swim stop and arrival into port in the early afternoon, giving guests the afternoon and evening to explore before remaining moored overnight. While this balance of sailing, swimming and exploring is an intentional part of the experience, we appreciate it may not suit everyone. We’re sorry to hear of your concerns regarding the glasses onboard, which we take seriously and will raise with the relevant team. Itinerary changes can also occasionally be necessary due to weather and sea conditions, even when skies appear clear, or port restrictions and availability. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we’re glad you still enjoyed many aspects of your week exploring Croatia.
Croatia was beautiful. Adriatic wonderful to swim in. The week’s scheduling was very regimented. The ports we visited had very strict docking times to enter. Caused us to have some awkward pauses or short swims. Wish our guides had taken time on land ion each to show us around a bit. They made lots of suggestions on what’s app .. but that seemed cold. We could have biked more. Last bike was cut very short because guides did not know roadways closed for clearing and cleaning. They should have found an alternative route. Food was fabulous on board. Crew was very professional and helpful. Ship was much more elegant and updated than I expected. Optional farm lunch tour was dissspointing. No interaction with the farm family .. no tour of farm. Just here’s your food. Heard wine tasting was also very disappointing. Don’t offer and push these options if they are not top notch.. . overall this was ok experience. In Croatia. You can do better.. it was Very touristy . . Make more personal..

Thank you for your 3 star review. We’re delighted you enjoyed beautiful Croatia, swimming in the Adriatic, the fabulous food onboard, and particularly the professionalism of our crew and quality of the ship. We appreciate your comments regarding the scheduling and would have liked the overall experience to have felt more personal. Port timings and local conditions can sometimes impact the planned cycling and daily schedule, but we understand the disappointment when this results in shorter activities. Your feedback regarding the guidance ashore and optional excursions is also valuable, as we want these experiences to genuinely enhance our guests’ time in Croatia. Thank you for sharing your experience and we hope to have you onboard again in the near future.
We enjoyed our holiday on Sail Croatia. The boat was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. Croatia has some of the most beautiful water we have ever experienced, and the swim stops were fantastic for enjoying it (apart from a couple areas that were too rough to go in). The crew work hard to ensure passengers are safe and happy. Only con was the quality of food. Reading previous reviews, we were looking forward to amazing meals and unfortunately we did not find it met our expectations. Breakfast was acceptable and did not vary from day to day. The coffee was pretty awful, and you did not want to get the bottom of the carafe as you would be seeing a dark sludge at the bottom of your cup. Lunches were varied, but some issues as well. Some meals were just luke warm, the chicken breast served one day was tough, and the Captain's dinner was small portions. Overall, it was a great way to see Croatia in a short amount of time.

The crew and our tour guide were great and very helpful. It would be helpful if they published better details about the daily flow of their cruises to help manage expectations about time on the boat vs exploring the various port locations. For example you dock in each port overnight and the yacht moves in the morning to the next location with a swim stop each morning. You dock at the next port during lunch and then explore tge port during the hottest part of the day and into the night. Breakfast Buffett was varied and solid. Lunches were not great and the biggest miss for my group.

We did seven nights with sail Croatia on a premium ship - which isn’t really premium. The crew and guides were amazing and the cycling really enjoyable. For the price the boat and the food were not of a standard you would rate anywhere near premium. It’s a great experience but if you’re a couple or a little older (over 50) this probably won’t be what you’re expecting.
- Michael, 25/09/2026 12:36, Travelled in a Couple
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you found our crew and guides amazing, enjoyed the cycling and felt it was a great overall experience. We would like to clarify that you travelled on our Premier ship category, which offers a comfortable style of small-ship cruising rather than a luxury product. For guests looking for a higher standard of ship, accommodation and amenities, we offer our Luxury Cycle product. Our Cycle Croatia cruises welcome adults of all ages, including couples and solo travellers, and we regularly welcome guests over 50. Naturally, expectations around accommodation and comfort can vary, which is why we offer different ship categories to suit different preferences and budgets. We appreciate your comments regarding the ship and food and will share these with the relevant team. Thank you again for travelling with us and for your wonderful feedback about the cycling, guides and crew.
The crew and guides for sale Croatia were fantastic. Cal and Sasha, our bike guides, were helpful and fun. The biking was the highlight of the trip. The bikes were high quality. the captain clearly had the safety of the passengers as his top priority. In contrast, simple conveniences were not available. The bathrooms did not contain soap in the shower. Clean towels were only provided once during the week. And storage space and electrical sockets were sparse in the cabin. Also bike bags for carrying personal items like rain jackets… we’re not provided. For the final 24 hours - hot water was not available on the boat. Many extra fees were required during the tour eg bikes through a national forest required additional euros. The food on the boat was average - most of the meats were overcoooked.

First experience of cycling by cruise was a learning experience but mostly positive. Rides & bikes excellent, group & information managed really well by our guides. Unfortunately there was an issue with our boat and appreciate a last minute switch by Sail Croatia to keep holiday moving meant few issues. Ship was smaller so a cabin change, dining space cramped, guides were tired & stressed as unable to stay on boat with us. Food was ok but no lighter choices like salad before an afternoon of cycling.

Thank you for your 4-star rating and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that your first Cycle Croatia experience was mostly positive and that you particularly enjoyed the rides, bikes and the organisation and information provided by our guides. As you mentioned, an issue with the originally allocated ship required us to make a last-minute vessel change in order for your cruise to continue as planned. We appreciate that this resulted in some differences onboard and apologise for the disruption this caused. The replacement vessel remained within the same Premier ship category booked, which offers a comfortable style of small-ship cruising rather than a luxury experience. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the dining space and meal options and will share this with the relevant team. Thank you again for travelling with us. We’re pleased that despite the unexpected change, you had an enjoyable experience overall and appreciate your 4-star review.
Holiday was fantastic. The crew was absolutely 5 star and so amazing as well as our guides. Special shout out to Borna, Andrej, and Jelena! They are stellar. Biking through the islands was trip-of-a-lifetime incredible with amazing vistas and exposure to culture we could not have experienced otherwise. The only disappointment was we paid for a premium ship and due to some issue with our ship Sail Croatia had to contract a smaller ship with less comforts and it was too small for the number of passengers.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re pleased to hear that everything else about your experience was positive. Due to a last-minute operational change, the vessel originally allocated to your departure did need to be changed, and we apologise for any disappointment or confusion this caused. However, your booking was for our Premier ship category, and the replacement vessel was also a Premier ship, meaning there was no downgrade in the category booked. Thank you again for travelling with us and for your understanding regarding the last-minute vessel change.
Everything good except we paid for a premium upgraded ship and it was changed to a lower grade ship.

The staff, food, and itinerary were wonderful, and Croatia is a beautiful country. We were, however highly disappointed by the size and quality of the lower cabin. We are a couple in our 60’s and we were shocked to be assigned the smallest of rooms with a bunk bed. Nowhere online were photos of this room available or advertised. If we had known the room would be so small, musty smelling, and damp we never would have booked a lower cabin. In fact, we were the first of 22 friends to book and this was the room assigned to us!! We were also quite frustrated by not being told the name of our ship until two days before boarding. It felt like bait and switch being assigned the Mali Luka when it didn’t look anything like the ships advertised on the Sail Croatia website. We absolutely feel that the size and condition of the cabin did not warrant the price we paid, Customers should know exactly what they are paying for!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you found the staff, food and itinerary wonderful and that you enjoyed beautiful Croatia. We are sorry that your cabin did not meet your expectations; however, we would like to clarify that your booking was for our Premier ship category, and Mali Luka is a Premier ship within this category. Our Premier ships offer a comfortable style of small-ship cruising rather than a luxury experience, and bookings are made by ship category rather than a specific vessel. This is why the individual ship is confirmed closer to departure. We also outline in our FAQs prior to booking that cabins across our Premier ship fleet vary in size and configuration and may feature twin beds, a double bed or a bunk-bed style arrangement. While we always endeavour to accommodate guest preferences, a particular cabin layout cannot be guaranteed within this category. For guests looking for a higher standard of accommodation and amenities, or who would prefer to select their specific ship and cabin type when booking, we also offer our Luxury Cycle product. We appreciate your feedback and are pleased that, despite your disappointment with the cabin, the staff, food and itinerary were highlights of your experience.
This was my first time with Sail Croatia! Definitely have fun memories for life from this week sailing! the people from this group ended up being like a little family especially the girls from my group the girlhood was so special! Every day was a new swim spot in beautiful waters and the ports were so cool exploring when docked, the food on board was quite delicious and the portions weren’t limited. Ola the tour guide of our party boat did a great job in keeping the group updated with recommendations, activities available and each days itinerary!! :) Each night was spent partying in a new spot and was very fun! There were a few birthdays on my week and the crew, captain and people on board were all amazing at making their birthdays feel special and celebrated with cake and birthday drinks and all! As a young person you have lots of fun connecting and partying with people around your age, I recommend! The only downside was the amount of mold spotted in the cabins and aircon vents.

The holiday was lovely. I really liked the Esperanza boat, very warm and welcoming with friendly staff. The swim every morning was a highlight, the top deck for sunbathing and visiting the different islands each day. We meet a bunch of great people whom we got on really well with which added to the overall experience. The food was mainly good, but thought the tipping expectation was extreme.

Well organised, comfy cabin, tasty food. Tour manager Anita was personable and a great communicator. The dining room, although smart and stylish, was not good to eat in. It was very noisy and felt claustrophobic. It was disappointing we could not eat outside. Breakfast was okay, but there was limited choice and the food quality not good. Often the fruit ran out. Coffee not good either. Excursions were terrific with a wide choice. The gratuity advice was incredible. 600 euros per cabin ! Nearly everyone was astonished that we were expected to give that much.

Amazing. Loved all the ports we visited. The ship was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much bother. The food was good. About what l expected for what we paid. A couple of things. Food was good. Always fresh but l thought at lunch they should have had another option on the set menu. A few people don’t eat seafood but there was no other option. You would only get different menu if you had an allergy.. TVs in room don’t work. ? Why are they there? Overall l enjoyed the cruises. I would recommend Sail Croatian friends and family.

Given that we were there during a terrible heat wave that made all the hikes more difficult but that said, only one or two of the hikes was at all interesting. Most were just up and down very steep rocky trails. Climbing to a summit without a real destination and turning around and going back was and was extremely tedious. Rock shale seems to be the normal path. It was difficult and not pleasant to walk on.. The boat was fine - not great - and the towns were all big tourist stops. I was glad to see the islands but we never escaped the crowds. Crew on the boat was fantastic.

Enjoyed the holiday. Good was poor cleaning the cabin was very basic i.e. had no hand soap all week.

Croatia is beautiful and this is a great way to see it. The Almissa was ok- we had the A/C stop working whenever the room temperature was too far away from the set point. So it would stop working in the middle of the night, which was very inconvenient. Dora was fantastic and always available. The rest of the crew was pretty good. I don't know why but I expected the captain to engage with us more. He was often out on his own. The food was good. But there was often so much of it, that it felt wasteful sometimes. Swim spots were very good. Overall, I would recommend this if you are social and like exploring. If you often like to be alone, you may not have much fun as you are stuck with the same 35 people for a whole week.

We had a great time sailing the Croatian islands with Sail Croatia. Our crew was great and able to pivot with fires on one of the islands. Princeza Diana boat was very nice and recently remodeled. Weather was spectacular.

The trip was very good. The staff was great. I enjoyed the tour. Food was solid, but not phenomenal. I enjoyed the island visits but disappointed to miss Vis (understand that was weather related). I wish we had more opportunities to visit towns earlier in day. I'd rate this probably higher overall, about 4.25.

First time on a cruise-cabin was in the lower level-musty/moldy smell, but shower was great and bed was great. Food was good-eggs a little undercooked, so was bacon, but overall breakfast and lunches were good. Enjoyed the hiking leaders and hikes on the different islands. Enjoyed the smaller villages and ports we stopped in. We loved the swim stops too and the other people we met on the trip.

Ship was great. Crew was great. Food was great. Cycling was good. Each day should be a minimum of 40 km. 5 and 10 km days were disappointing. Guide should be prepared to quickly repair a flat tire. One day we spent an hour idling while he dealt with that, since he didn’t have the right tools. He should have sent us down the hill to the beach. Overall the briefs need to clearly and briefly state the aims of the ride and how much time in each stop. Electric and regular bikes do not mix. Too much waiting around for the regular riders. A group of 30 or more cyclists is too big to manage. Group size should be 15 max. Overall a great trip.

Overall we had a good holiday. We were on the Emanuel. The boat was clean.. Biking with guides was very good. We were disappointed in some aspects. The rooms were very tight. We understand this is a boat but our bed was against a wall and the storage was minimal. The bed was very hard and linens/towels were just ok. The room would have felt better if they had used better quality items. It felt more like dorm living or summer camp. No swimming towels provided (which we knew ahead) but this takes a lot of room in a suitcase when traveling. The meals were basic and not of a standard that we expected for a vacation. Bar prices seemed a little high. It was stated not to bring food/drink onboard.. However, there was no food or snacks available other than meals. One day we were sailing 7 hours to avoid a storm and no food provided other than lunch. This meant drinking and no snacking. The upper deck was nice with a shaded area and sun deck but the furniture needs updated.

Thank you for your 4-star rating and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that overall you had a good holiday, found Emanuel clean and particularly enjoyed the cycling experience with our guides. We’re sorry that some aspects of the onboard experience did not meet your expectations. You travelled on our Premier ship category, which is designed to offer a more comfortable style of small-ship cruising, rather than a luxury experience. For guests looking for a higher standard of accommodation, amenities and onboard comforts, we also offer our Luxury Cycle product. As you noted, swimming towels are not included on our Premier ships and this is communicated prior to departure. We would also like to clarify your comment regarding bringing food onboard. Our policy does not permit external hot meals or takeaway food; however, guests are of course welcome to bring their own dry snacks onboard. We also appreciate your comments regarding the cabin furnishings, meals, bar offering and deck furniture, and will ensure these are shared with the relevant team. Thank you again for travelling with us. We’re pleased that overall you enjoyed your holiday and appreciate your 4-star review.
I had really good expectations for this holiday but sadly was very disappointed. Firstly I would like to say that our guides Tasi and Toni were excellent & went above & beyond to give us a good experience. I will write separately to the company to give details of our bad experience because there is too much to mention here but suffice to say there were arguments between other members of the crew. The food was well below standard & sadly lots of it came from tins. The boat was tired & we had a few problems amongst the passengers with major things going wrong. Complaint letter to follow

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear your kind comments regarding Tasi and Toni and the support they provided throughout your cruise. We’re sorry to hear that other aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. Our team is in direct communication with you regarding the concerns raised, and your feedback has been reviewed in detail with our Management and Operations teams. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
Overall our holiday was excellent. Great locations and a great crew who went above and beyond to make its success. Only three things I would highlight as opportinited for improvement: 1. Tipping: If the company and the crew have to propose a level for tipping this suggests that the crew wages are insufficient and you are relying ib tips to make them up. I would prefer you set the right wages, adjust the price for guests and leave tipping at the guests' discretion and at a much lower level. 2. The crew asked us to fill out the feedback form in their presence when we settled the bar tab. This wont give you candid feedback. Better to do it afterwards remotely like this. 3. The food was good but not as good as I would expect and most importantly the coffee was way too strong and unfiltered. Get a coffee machine.

Thank you for your 4-star rating and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that overall you had an excellent holiday, enjoyed the destinations and felt the crew went above and beyond to make your trip a success. We also appreciate your constructive suggestions regarding tipping, the timing of our onboard feedback forms, and the food and coffee offering. Tipping is entirely optional and at each guest’s discretion, although we appreciate your comments regarding how the suggested guidance is communicated. Your feedback regarding completing forms in the presence of the crew is also particularly useful, as we certainly want guests to feel comfortable providing open and candid feedback. Thank you again for travelling with us and for your 4-star review. We’re pleased that these areas for improvement aside, you had such an enjoyable holiday.
Was a great time on the Queen Jelena -- Vedrun our tour manager was lovely and super informative. Ship was elegant and rooms were a good size, Food was overall very good onboard. A great way to relax and see Croatia without the trouble of moving hotels. Would be good if the ship left the coffee machine on all day. Also, Sail Croatia should include a few drinks per meal as part of the package. But definitely worth it -- an amazing vacation!

Generally we had a very good time but the food & behaviour of some of the crew detracted from the overall effect. From a positive point of view both of the tour leaders, Tasi & Toni, were excellent. They worked hard to produce a great experience, were both welcoming & knowledgeable. Each hike was fun, with lots of sights & information. For the price of the trip the food was not up to standard. Breakfasts were good but both lunches & dinners were poor, mostly constituted by overcooked meat, sauce & tinned vegetables. It could and should have been much better. The crew were generally OK, but one in particular shouted at the passengers a number of times in an unnecessary manner. A briefing at the beginning of the cruise as to what areas on the deck to avoid would have helped here too. The first swim off the back of the boat was fantastic & should have been repeated rather than staying at the dock & having to search out local beaches. Other passengers were also great fun & company

5 stars for the flexibility of the tour (great balance of bike, swimming, city walks and sailing time). Low-quality ship with humongous humidity in cabins. For was just ordinary, with little flavour and no variety. Wine policy (buying entire bottles instead of wine by the glass) is ridiculous. Alcool prices are exorbitant on the ship. Example: house is sells 45 euros for 750ml. Tommy sells same brand for 7,95 euro… Despite poor quality of the ship and meal offering, I had a great vacation!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you had a great vacation and particularly appreciate your 5-star rating for the flexibility of the tour, including the balance of cycling, swimming, exploring and sailing. We’re sorry that some aspects of the ship did not meet your expectations. You travelled on our Premier ship category, which is designed to provide a more comfortable small-ship experience, rather than a luxury product. For guests looking for a higher standard of ship, amenities and overall comfort, we also offer our Luxury Cycle product. We also appreciate your comments regarding the meals and onboard drinks offering and pricing, which we will share with the relevant team for review. Thank you again for travelling with us. We’re pleased that, despite these areas of feedback, you ultimately had a great holiday and enjoyed the overall Cycle Croatia experience.
A fun relaxing week with friends where we were treated to exceptional food and service and places to visit. Our swims each day were memorable and our tour manager (Vedran) a legend with a wonderful sense of humour. We would highly recommend this cruise.
- Corene, 16/09/2026 08:42, Travelled with Friend/s
Croatia is a beautiful country, gorgeous clear sea, friendly people. Cycling was great, sometimes a bit longer than expected, the cash bar and cash tips were unexpected, and many small places also only used cash so come prepared! 3 course lunch onboard was nice but we weren’t hungry enough for trying full dinners- loved the air con in the room, but could do with more storage in the bedroom. Great crew, very informative and friendly

We had such a wonderful week on the cycle trip. The guides, sailors and bar staff were all terrific. The boat was a little tired in places and the linen really needs and upgrade. However their staff did a brilliant job. We loved it and would recommend.

The cruise on board the Esperanza was a great cruise. The staff was wonderful. The staff and our group of friends got along wonderfully. The food was delicious. But, I would have loved a cup of real coffee instead of instant coffee from a machine. Dino arranged a fishing expedition for us to enjoy. Ivo and Mio kept the drinks flowing and were always smiling. My cabin was refreshed daily. The comfort on the boat in the social areas was nice but there were a few issues that I would like to mention. While there was a blow dryer for drying our hair, the blow dryers lacked power. There was an electric outlet in the sleeping area of the cabin but there was no mirror. A mirror would have been nice for makeup application too. Also the closet did not give us the option to hang anything longer than a shirt. My dresses couldn’t hang long. There was not enough drawer storage at all! Towels were treated like a precious commodity and not refreshed unless asked for. Not true luxury

Good but hoped for more time to explore/shop … on the stops. Door stops for bathroom door needed, bathroom re-supply and amenities were poor, toilet was never cleaned in our room. Breakfast window of 8-9 too short when underway by 6-7 each day. A bit more variety in the hot breakfast menu - it was the same fare each day.. More excursions offered with passenger commitment secured before the trip starts - not everyone is into swimming and water sports. Crew and servers were very attentive and friendly. Lunches on board, captain’s dinner and impromptu barbecue dinner on board were excellent. A good sail overall.

Average at best. The food was well below average and we could not dock at a port until the afternoon. If you like sitting on a ship with nothing to do but play on your phone and take a swim off the back, then it’s perfect. Otherwise do something else.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that some aspects of the experience, particularly the food, did not meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify that the schedule you experienced reflects the way our small-ship cruises are designed to operate. Ships generally depart in the morning, with time spent cruising and enjoying swim stops along the route, before arriving at the next destination in the early afternoon. The ship then remains in port overnight, giving guests the afternoon and evening to explore the town, enjoy activities and have dinner ashore at their own pace. We appreciate that this style of cruising may not suit everyone, but for many guests the combination of cruising, swim stops and extended time ashore is an important part of the experience. Thank you again for travelling with us and for sharing your feedback.
We booked this sailing trip for the first week of September, paying £779, and overall I’d say it was a good trip for the price — but there are definitely some things I wish I’d known before booking. Arrival & accommodation We arrived and were greeted by a lovely host who showed us to our rooms below deck. This is probably the biggest thing I would flag for anyone booking. The rooms are very small, and the pictures online don’t really give you an idea of just how small they are. We were sharing a room with bunk beds, and there was no overhead space, so you couldn’t actually sit upright in the bed. We had read online that there was space underneath the beds for luggage, so we travelled with a suitcase expecting it to fit underneath. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough space. I spoke to the staff and initially felt that it was a bit of a “this is what it is” situation, but our tour host was very accommodating and offered us another room to use for our luggage. We were extremely grateful for this. In the end, I actually just stayed in the other room, which made more sense, and this wasn’t a problem. The rooms are also very dated and could definitely do with some TLC. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable either, and I wouldn’t describe the accommodation as luxurious in any way. That said, we managed and spent very little time in the room because we were out enjoying the destinations. Another issue was towels. The packing list we received said towels would be provided and that we didn’t need to bring our own. Once onboard, we discovered that standard ships apparently don’t provide them, according to the website. This was conflicting information and obviously too late to resolve once we were already there. Again, the host was very accommodating and provided us with bath towels, which we really appreciated. The sailing & destinations After lunch and the initial briefing, we headed off to explore our first destination. The recommendations from the host about where to go, what to see and where to eat were really helpful. The actual sailing experience was fantastic. The swim stops were a real highlight, and stopping at different places gave us plenty of opportunities to explore and experience as much as possible. We had enough time in each destination to do our own thing, which we really enjoyed. One thing to be aware of is that the engine is noisy. On our first morning, it woke me at around 6am. I went looking for a coffee, only to discover that coffee wasn’t available until breakfast at 8:30am. Again, the staff were very kind and made me one, but it’s worth knowing if you’re an early riser! We didn’t take part in the group dinners or organised activities because we preferred to explore independently and partying wasn’t really our priority. This wasn’t an issue at all. The host was very accommodating and happy to give us recommendations and information about each destination. One of the original stops was changed because of personal circumstances affecting the captain. The replacement destination was lovely, but it’s worth knowing that the itinerary isn’t necessarily set in stone, so don’t get too attached to the places shown when booking. Food The food was another positive. I wouldn’t say the food we received looked quite like the pictures on the website, but it was still really enjoyable and delicious. Breakfast had a good variety — cereals, yoghurt, fruit, meats, cheeses and eggs prepared differently each day. Lunch was three courses and could include things like crisps and dips, wraps, a really tasty carbonara, followed by cake, ice cream or another baked dessert. There was plenty of choice and we were never left hungry. The staff The staff were lovely throughout the trip — friendly, chatty, helpful and very accommodating. Nothing seemed too much trouble when we had questions or needed something. Our particular trip was relatively quiet, with around 15 people onboard, and we were told previous trips had been much livelier. Personally, I think we were lucky with the smaller group. The boat can apparently sleep up to 32 people, but I honestly can’t imagine 32 people being particularly comfortable in the available space. With 15, it felt like enough. The tipping experience The one thing that really left a sour taste for me was the tipping at the end of the trip. We were reminded several times throughout the holiday about tipping, including through the WhatsApp group, and were told that envelopes would be available for tips for the tour guide and boat staff. The suggested amounts were also mentioned. The day before leaving, we had to settle our bar bill between 2–3pm, as well as pay the €40 tax that had to be added. When I went into the dining area to pay, there were two very visible tip boxes showing how much money was being put into them. While I was paying my bar bill, the lady then pointed out the tip boxes and asked about the tips directly. For me, this felt quite pressured and awkward, particularly with several members of staff also in the dining room at the time. I completely understand that tipping is an important part of the industry and that staff work hard, but having it repeatedly mentioned throughout the trip and then being asked directly, with the tip boxes in front of you, made me feel uncomfortable. I came away feeling a little disappointed that this was how the trip ended. I would much rather have felt that tipping was completely voluntary and left to the individual’s discretion without the repeated reminders and direct approach. Overall Giving this trip a star rating is actually quite difficult because the different parts of the experience vary so much. The boat itself would be around 3/5 — it is very dated, the cabins are extremely small and it definitely needs some renovation. The staff were 4/5 — genuinely lovely, helpful and accommodating. The food was 4/5 — good variety and enjoyable meals. But the destinations and sailing experience were the real reason this trip was worth it. Being able to sail between different places, swim in beautiful spots and have plenty of time to explore made the holiday. For £779 in the first week of September, I think overall we got good value for money. You definitely get what you pay for, though, and I would recommend going into it knowing that this is not a luxury sailing experience. The boat is basic and dated, the cabins are tiny, and there are a few things where the information provided before booking could be clearer. If you’re looking for a more affordable sailing adventure, are happy to compromise on accommodation and want to prioritise seeing different places, then I think it’s a great option. Just go prepared for the small cabins, bring your expectations down regarding the boat, and enjoy the destinations — because that’s where this trip really shines.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the sailing experience and destinations, and particularly appreciate your 4 star ratings for both our staff and the food onboard. We also appreciate your 3 star rating and feedback regarding the ship itself. As you mentioned, this is not a luxury sailing experience; your booking was on one of our Standard category ships, which is the most budget-friendly option within our Navigator cruises and offers more basic accommodation and amenities. Showering towels are not included within this category, as outlined in our Pre-Departure Information. For guests looking for a higher level of comfort, we offer ship categories with higher-quality amenities and additional inclusions, at a higher price point - such as the Ensuite and Premier ships. We’re pleased that overall you felt the trip represented good value for money and that the destinations and sailing experience were the real highlights of your week. Thank you again for travelling with us!
We had a great time on the Mlini. The crew was outstanding particularly the food which was much better than expected. Toma was our guide and was a great guide and friend to everyone. They worked hard to make it a great week. They deserve a raise Few areas to improve on: inform passengers if they boat isn’t full. It’s quite disappointing when you arrive to find the boat is half full leaving much to be desired from the social aspect. Also, recommend decreasing the number of excursions and increasing the quality.

The accommodations and service were great. The food was a little questionable. The crew were all very helpful, especially Klara

It was a great time with a great group of people. The staff on board were great but the main comments from us and other travellers was that the boat was a bit run down, specifically the linen was ripped and marked and the showers were smelly. Hope this helps

Hi, just wanted to say that whilst the holiday destinations were excellent and the boat and crew generally upto the job, the food on board was way below the standard I would expect for a trip of this nature. This was a generally held opinion of the guests onboard to the extent that it spoilt an otherwise agreeable experience. Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the destinations visited and that you were generally happy with the ship and crew throughout your trip. We are, however, sorry to hear that the food onboard did not meet your expectations and that this impacted your experience. The onboard food was reviewed, and we have since received some excellent feedback from guests travelling aboard Esperanza, particularly regarding the food, which we have been pleased to see. Thank you again for travelling with us and for taking the time to share your experience.
We had a blast! Boat was great, met wonderful people and weather was perfect! Only criticism was the food. Just ok but overall amazing!
- Donna, 09/09/2026 04:51, Travelled with Friend/s
We had such a genuinely great time on this trip! Our skipper, Nenad, completely made the experience! He was the heart of the whole week. Our group was a blast, the swim stops were gorgeous, and we loved getting to explore each town along the way. The extra adventures (e-biking, scooters, wine tasting, beach clubs) were some of our favorite memories. The only things that kept this from being a full 5 stars for us: the boat felt smaller than we expected, and honestly 7 days ended up being a lot, the islands started to blend together by the end. That said, this felt more like a "know thyself" thing than anything Sail Croatia did wrong 😂 we're just not sure we're built for that many days on a small sailboat! Would still recommend it, especially if you've got a good skipper and crew like we did.
- Ashleigh, 08/09/2026 20:30, Travelled in a Couple
Boat was good.Food was mediocre. Lunch was too big, prefer lighter fare. Cruise director was great.
- Donna, 08/09/2026 09:13, Travelled with Friend/s
Very good. Mario was a great Skipper. Easy and fun attitude. We were 2 couples, there was plenty of room. The boat was good, although I was surprised there were no solar panels. As a result we were pretty much forced to go to a marina at least every second night. The water and the swim stops in small bays were absolutely beautiful and fun. Sail Croatia was super easy to deal with from start to finish. It would be nice if they had a place to store our bags on embarkation day for a couple of hours. Checkout at most places is 11am , and the boat is only available later. The only option is someone stays with the luggage or pay a private company that charges 6 euros. All in all a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Sail Croatia.
- Donald, 07/09/2026 05:55, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your 4-star review, Donald! We’re so pleased you had a great experience overall, enjoyed the beautiful swim stops, and especially your time with Mario as your Skipper. It’s also wonderful to hear you found the booking experience easy from start to finish. Night Sky does not have solar panels or an onboard generator, with the full spec of each vessel available on our website. For guests wishing to anchor overnight while still having access to electricity and air-conditioning, we recommend booking a larger vessel equipped with an onboard generator. Our office at ACI Split Marina is quite small, so unfortunately we’re unable to store luggage ahead of check-in. As you mentioned, luggage storage facilities are available nearby for a small fee, allowing guests to explore Split before boarding. Thank you again for recommending Sail Croatia, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
A great way to explore the southern islands of Croatia

Our week was good. Everyone was professional and attentive. The food was very healthy and good. The swim spots were good. The island stops were good. Our only disappointment was a change in the schedule resulting in our last port stop before Dubrovnik being boring and the food options mediocre.
- Anonymous, 04/09/2026 19:36, Travelled in a Couple
It was awesome we had a lot of fun, swim spots were awesome, the towns/cities were great. The crew were really easy to get along with and served quality tasting food. Only bad thing was the condition of the boat, it was clean don’t get me wrong, but the rooms were twice as hot as it was outside, (yes it was advertised there was no A/C) so there was no way to cool down and most people ending up sleeping outside on the deck during the night not using their rooms. And the shower amenities were pretty rough. We paid extra for an upper deck room thinking it would be cooler and less noisy, but it was the complete opposite, rooms downstairs were cooler and less noisy. I think if we had photos of the amenities and knew the condition of the rooms on the exact boat we were on, we wouldn’t have paid as much or gone at all. But don’t let that distract you from what made it worth while, all the people we met on the boat from guest to crew was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Thank you for your 4-star review! We’re so pleased to hear you had an awesome time overall and enjoyed the swim stops, destinations, food, and especially the crew and fellow travellers onboard. We appreciate your feedback regarding the ship facilities. You booked our Standard ship category, which is our most affordable option for budget-conscious travellers and features bunk-bed cabins, shared bathroom facilities and no air-conditioning. Images and specifications for each of our ship categories are available on our website to help highlight the differences between them, allowing guests to make an informed decision before booking with us. We also note in our FAQs under “What is the difference between Above and Lower Deck cabins?” that Lower Deck cabins can often be cooler and quieter than Above Deck cabins. We completely understand that everyone has different comfort preferences, and based on your feedback, we’d recommend considering one of our higher ship categories, such as Ensuite or Premier, for any future trip with us. Thanks again for travelling with us, and it’s great to hear that the people you met and experiences along the way made the trip so worthwhile!
Overall great. Brilliant Tour leader with Dino. Fabulous knowledge and nothing he couldn’t do even answering dumb questions by some 😂 Air conditioning was an issue but overall fabulous experience.

The Sail Croatia staff, Illona and Emma were 10 stars, hands down, the best guides. Emma was very knowledgeable and was so much more than a guide.. Her passion was evident. The ship was clean and had ample space to relax while on board. The dining area was hot and stuffy, to the point of making people nauseous. The sailing staff were also fantastic. Daymon, Tony, and Leon were great. Phillip was our bartender/waiter and he was also amazing and very personable. The only neegatives - the smoking areas on the boat are upwind of where we would try to relax or have a cup of coffee.. For non-smokers, its quite annoying and frustrating to not be able to breathe the clean Adriatic Sea air. The other negative was the food. Although it was good in tasted, I had different expectations - at times it was heavy with gravies; also when it is 90 degrees F outside, no one wants hot soup for lunch in the hottest part of the day. Boris was very kind and his desserts were magical.

Thank you so much for such a lovely review! It’s lovely to hear how much you enjoyed your time with us, and especially that Illona and Emma were such a highlight of your experience. We’ll be sure to share your wonderful comments with them, as well as Daymon, Tony, Leon, Phillip and Boris - it’s clear the whole team made your trip extra special! We’re also delighted you enjoyed the ship, its cleanliness and the space to relax and take in the beautiful Adriatic. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback on the onboard environment and dining experience, and we’ll be sure to pass your comments on to the relevant teams. We hope to welcome you back on board for another Croatian adventure in the future!
The yacht was beautiful but the crew did not seem happy to be there. There were no smiles from the crew members and very little interaction with the guests. One sailor paid no attention to guests even when spoken to directly. The cruise director was somewhat confusing in discussing the next days itinerary. Swim stops were beautiful. More and newer swim toys would have been appreciated. Noodles were crumbling and breaking. On the plus side, the food was amazing and beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef and sous chef. The ships air conditioning was not adequate for the hot temperatures at night. Many had trouble sleeping as the a/c was turned off. The Captain's dinner could only be described as "sweaty". Transfers were well handled. Overall I had a good time with a great group of travelers.

Ports were not great , crew was sub par rarely interacted with guests .
- Anonymous, 01/09/2026 01:02, Travelled with Friend/s
Holiday overall was great. Only comments would be to possibly offer other options than just clubs every single night. Everyone understood we were doing a drinking cruise, however seven nights of clubs in a row is a lot! I would’ve loved to have clean linens or at least clean towels offered to us, given that being below deck nothing dried and became very gross mildewy smelling. Lastly, if they would just include what they were feeding us each day, I think that would be helpful. I didn’t have many problems with the food, however being hungover sea sick and then handed mystery food made it a little harder to trust. Just announcing what the meal is would’ve made it a lot better! Otherwise great trip, lots of fun. Just wish swim spots were longer!

Overall was really good. Many aspect of the trip were perfect. The tour guides really made it amazing, especially Cal. Very friendly and funny, set up fun stuff for us to do as well outside of the rides. The boat is where the problem was. Rooms, AM, pillows, bedding were all extremely subpar for what we paid for. I’ve had better accommodations on camping trips. I would rebook with this company again but not on the same boat.

Thank you for sharing your 4 star review! We’re so pleased to hear that you had an overall great experience and that Cal in particular helped make your trip so memorable. It’s wonderful to hear that his friendly and fun approach added so much to your time both on and off the rides - we’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to them! We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the vessel and onboard accommodation. We understand that guests have different preferences and comfort levels when it comes to accommodation, which is why we offer different product categories. For guests looking for a higher level of comfort, our Luxury Cycle product offers a higher-quality ship and enhanced onboard accommodation, so this would be the option we’d recommend for you on a future trip. We’re delighted to hear you would choose to travel with us again, and we’d love the opportunity to welcome you back for another adventure!
My holiday was a memorable experience with my best friend, we had many laughs with new friends and crew members. Marin was amazing, very friendly, professional and on-time, he made sure the day ran very smoothly. I would highly recommend sail Croatia navigator cruise if you are a young individual wanting party and make new friends.

Excellent holiday and meet some great people from around the world . Cruise manager was excellent with great communication regarding when and what was happening. The girl that cleaned my cabin was outstanding as well, and pleasant to talk with and always smiling. The remainder of the crew were less so . They failed to acknowledge you most times and were not interactive at all. We would have spent more money on bar if the staff had been better trained in the hospitality industry. .

It was a lovely week. We enjoyed very much going to all the islands as they all have their own special charm. We found the food on the boat to be good but the lunch portions were way too big. We would have appreciated an explanation of the food as we had to keep asking what we were eating….The desserts everyday were the best part! Swim stops were the highlight! The Taste of Croatia tour itself needs lots of work. Olive oil tasting was in a cramped store(we were picturing a trip to an olive grove), oysters and Wine tasting was a miss as well.. There are wineries and oyster farms and Instead we went to a tourist restaurant where we got poured 3 wines and had a plate of oysters. We found a winery on our own on the island of Hvar which was amazing and would have been a welcome addition to this cruise. Foodies who book this expect more and so if we recommended this trip we would say skip the Taste of and just do the explorer or elegance cruises.

Excellent time! Vedran is great tour leader! This boat is Family owned and immaculate! All staff are family and they care deeply about the boat and assuring guests have a great time. The only reason I gave this a 4-star rating is that the air conditioning in the cabins just could not keep up with the boiling outside temperature. Most everyone had issues with the air conditioning. Also, in my opinion, the lighting in the bathrooms is not sufficient. PRO Tip 1: Evidently the cabins below deck stay cooler than those above deck PRO Tip 2: Bring clothing that is quick drying and can be washed in the sink or shower. There are ship bars outside the cabins on the upper deck where you can hang them to dry. Clothes pins are provided. PRO Tip 3: Do not bring anything fancy, cool light weight fabrics are best. PRO Tip 4: A portable travel fan will come in handy. PRO Tip 5: Buy Euro at first island stop for less than getting it at home if not your currency.

We recently boarded the Tempera Cruise from Split to Dubrovnik, and we had such a fantastic experience! Our sail team was incredibly helpful and made us feel so well looked after throughout the trip. Our host, Andro, was honestly the best. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the islands we visited, and we really appreciated his honesty and recommendations about which excursions were actually worth doing. The only thing we wish had been included on our trip was the rafting experience! The crew did a fantastic job of making sure we had plenty of time at the best swimming spots, and they even adjusted our ports to minimise travel time on days when they felt we needed more time to explore the islands. We also loved the people we met along the way. Our cruise had a great mix of younger and older couples, and everyone got along so well, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire Tempera Cruise team for an amazing trip and so many great memories!

I had a great time, the girls on my boat were lovely and we had lots of fun! The swim spots were beautiful, the itinerary was cool, I loved vis island and stari grad, and even when some things went wrong our skipper was able to change the itinerary, overall really great. Some feedback I have is for a bit more communication from the sail Croatia website when it says breakfast provided I was expecting that meant the skipper made us a filling breakfast but it was just the bottom shelf of the fridge that was communal with some ham salami tomato and eggs plus muesli and bread, and some days we had no eggs so I felt like I was scavenging for breakfast. I’m not sure if I missed this part of information but it was a bit disappointing. I think it would also be great to mention that each port has a shower, as I booked the ensuite cabin but didn’t even use the tiny shower cause there were proper showers at each port, I felt a little ripped off cause I thought on board shower was my only option.

Sailing is a great way to see Croatia. Overall, it was an incredible experience and absolutely beautiful. Lauren was fantastic and made sure we had a great time throughout the trip. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing experience. The crew and Josko were great. The rooms were great spacious and clean. The boat was very clean and staff was attentive. Couple suggestions would be if there was a. Way to keep the breakfast hot as it was cold by the time we ate. Be nice to have. Coffee through out the day and it be available earlier. The plants on the tables were nice but to big. When paying our bar bill it was difficult as we never saw or get emailed a receipt to show the breakdown. That might be something we should get before leaving a printed one. The bar attendants were so fun. The lunches were amazing. Only meal was the veal that was not good. Swim stops were beautiful. And staff was great setting everything up for us.to enjoy the swim spots. Josko was great helping us find the best places to eat and answered other questions we had. If it was a full boat I don’t think the hot tub would have worked for 36 passengers. We were lucky to only have 16 on board. Thank you to all

We enjoyed the ship staff and meals; the ship could have been cooler in cabin but staff tried to make it as comfortable as possible. The floor of the ship needed some work but overall a great time!

Sail Croatia was such an unreal experience. We had the most fun week and met so many new friends. The staff on our boat the Mlini were so helpful and accomodating, and our host nour was the best. She made the week so fun and smooth and not stressful for us at all. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun time and people who enjoy partying!

My experience on Tuna boat was mainly attributable to Toni, our rep. Toni was highly informative about the history and activities of each destination. His organisation of group dinners really helped for us to bond and make friends. Not only was he a rep, but he was also a great friend to all of us. I give all my praise to Toni!

We chartered an Elan 45 with Sail Croatia because it was advertised with a generator, which was the main reason we chose this particular yacht. Before booking, we even contacted the company to confirm that the generator was available. Unfortunately, the generator did not work for the entire charter. The mechanic confirmed that it could not be repaired, so we had to change our plans and spend additional nights in marinas to access shore power instead of enjoying the freedom of anchoring. Equipment failures can happen, and we understand that. Our disappointment was that we paid a premium for a feature that was unavailable throughout the entire week, significantly affecting the comfort and flexibility of our holiday. If a generator is important for your trip, I recommend confirming not only that the boat is equipped with one, but also asking what the company’s policy is if it becomes unavailable during your charter.
- Anonymous, 03/08/2026 04:21, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your review. We understand that the generator was an important feature for your group and that its failure affected the way you had planned to enjoy your bareboat Yacht Charter. As a gesture to recognise the inconvenience caused, we agreed on a compensation arrangement with you during the charter, which we were pleased you were happy with at the time. Whilst all vessels undergo regular maintenance and checks throughout the season, unfortunately equipment failures can sometimes occur unexpectedly. In this instance, the generator could not be repaired during your charter. We’re therefore naturally disappointed to see this review, particularly as we did work with you during the charter to address the issue and provide compensation. That said, we understand your disappointment and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We will continue to review how we can best support guests when an important onboard feature unexpectedly becomes unavailable.
Dino was a very good tour leader, esp. nominating specific restaurants to eat evening meals at on each island we frequented. The crew were attentive, the cabin cleaning staff were top notch. Swim stops were great. Food was good but there seemed to be an extensive use of puréed vegetables! Music played non stop inside the boat even if no one was there? Still, a good experience.

The food needs to improve.

I did really enjoy my holiday however I and the rest of my boat were a bit confused why we, as a party boat, would dock and stay in towns with either no clubs or where noise/time restrictions impacted our time and experience greatly. Our crew on big blue were always so fun and gracious. The rep, Diego, put lots of effort to get our group bonding by organising family dinners and always showed up for us, whether that was searching the town for place with working gelato, taking people to multiple pharmacy trips as well as the hospitals.
- Sophie, 24/07/2026 08:46, Travelled with Friend/s
Average The biat was not like advertised and had many issues My too bunk was not working so we had to share a double bed, the bathroom had lots of plumbing issues including smell coming from taps and brown water leaks in bedrooms. We didnt even get to go to hvar wich was one of the main stops and instead didnt dock and anchored in the ocean for the whole day and no one was allowed to get off and no solution was made.

Thank you for taking the time to review us and share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. After reviewing our internal reports, we were unable to find any record of concerns regarding a leak or any plumbing issues in your cabin. As outlined in our pre-departure information, we have a clear onboard reporting process to ensure that any issues can be addressed as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, as these concerns were not reported to your Onboard Representative during the trip, our team was not given the opportunity to investigate or resolve them while you were onboard. Our Captains work hard to provide the best possible experience based on weather and port conditions and at times, the itinerary and port locations may need to change during the week as advertised. Upon checking with our Operations team, we were pleased that even though due to port availability you were docked in Stari Grad, a bus transfer to Hvar Town was organised giving everyone free time to explore Hvar Town. We do appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback, as it helps us continue to review and improve our services.
Once I made the payment, the Sales Representative literally stopped caring about my queries. I had to follow multiple times to underthings and to merely arrange a call back. I was not provided detailed description about my yatch and itinerary which I had requested multiple times. I regret not taking all the details before making the payment. After Sales Service is very bad. Our Skipper was amazing and other guests were nice because of which we were able to enjoy. Else the itinerary is very bad, you take us to island at odd timings because of which we are not able to explore the island properly and missed famous activities because of the timings we are reaching the island. The whole experience could be so much better by just better planning and not wasting time unnecessarily.
- Anonymous, 22/07/2026 06:46, Travelled in a Couple
Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the experience with your Skipper and fellow guests. We have reviewed our internal communications and can see that you attempted to contact us by phone and live chat on several occasions, but these were outside our Sales Team’s operating hours. Our team responded as soon as they were back online and addressed your questions. We also provide detailed information on our website, in pre-departure information, and through the Online Account, which can be accessed at any time. With regard to the itinerary, due to the nature of yachting in Croatia, itineraries can be subject to change, as outlined to guests in advance. This can be due to factors such as weather conditions, port restrictions and other operational considerations. We’re sorry that the itinerary did not meet your expectations and appreciate your feedback.
We absolutely loved this trip on the Almissa. Perfect mix of cruising, swim stops and visits to beautiful islands. Staff were great, food was delicious and we had a great group of people onboard with us. Fun side trip options if you want them. Plenty of sunloungers upstairs for everyone. Only give it 4 stars as cabins are fairly basic but you don’t spend much time in there anyway - they were perfectly fine with plenty of room to store things. So good being able to unpack for a week and enjoy the cruise.
- Cheryl, 20/07/2026 09:02, Travelled in a Couple
We had a really good time on board the Salve di Mare, Split to Dubrovnik. The food was very tasty, every staff member was friendly and professional, and the ship was spotless and well appointed. The swim stops were mostly incredible (the last one near Dubrovnik was less special and secluded than the others). We didn't get to do the Blue Cave tour as scheduled; still not sure why not. My only real criticism is that the ship didn't have karaoke!! 😜
- Michael, 20/07/2026 08:59, Travelled in a Couple
Excellent holiday with good room and great food. Staff were helpful and pleasant The only criticism is that the last day sailing was in Split and felt as though the holiday had ended 1 day early. I would have preferred to visit another island.
- Tracy, 17/07/2026 18:04, Travelled with Friend/s
6 of us sailed on the Almissa the first week of July. Right from the start we were greeted with friendly staff members who met all of our needs and answered all of our questions. Hana was our guide/host for the week and she was amazing. She always checked in on passengers daily asking them what they had done the day before and what the plans were. She gave us a play by play of what to expect each day and answered questions and gave suggestions in a timely manner. She was outstanding. The boat was extremely clean and was big enough for all thirty plus passengers to find space if needed. The staff was friendly and assisted whenever needed. The food was also the best food I have had on the trip - even better than the restaurants. The pace of the trip was great. The only reason I did not give five stars, is that I wish drinks were included in the price or that a drink package could be bought. I would definitely suggest bringing snacks on board as they were not provided throughout.

Had so much fun with a great bunch of people. Captain + crew were awesome. The facilities on the premium navigator cruise are actually really decent and surprisingly spacious. Worth the extra money, especially for AC. Side note; you will end up paying as much as the initial cost so be aware. However many of the daily activities are worth. Shout out Lauren for being an awesome rep.

What an amazing experience sailing around the beautiful islands of Croatia. Our trip started in Slpit & end ended in Dubrovnik. We stopped at 5 amazing islands along the way. The boat guide Andro was incredibly knowledgeable about each island’s history & what it had to offer and gave suggestions on activities and restaurants along the way. The crew were great however my only suggestion would be it lacked a female’s touch (all male crew) 😅. Eg room cleaning & also lack of salad at lunch time with massive serving of 3 course meal at lunch (the men very happy). I would highly recommend Sail Croatia it definitely exceeded our expectations.

Oh Croatia - what a BEAUTIFUL country you are!! We sailed on the Almissa from Dubrovnik to Split abd then took a bus back down to Dubrovnik for our return flight home. You really couldn’t have asked for more! Food was amazing, service was outstanding and the scenery was fairytale like!!!

Very well organised from start to finish. Daily briefings, amazing rides (v easy on electric bike) and plenty of tasty food ! Cabins were quite basic but were en suite and had air-con. Plenty of time to sunbathe on deck or visit the islands. Some extra excursions and meals organised for those who wanted to but no pressure to go. All the staff were great esp our group leader Calum (& Srdan) - who had a great knowledge of the Croatian history as well as sorting any issues out throughout the week such as food preferences and general recommendations. Average age was around 60 on the boat (the Mali Luka) with a lovely bunch mainly from USA and Australia and NZ. Busy week as up early but a great way to explore the lovely islands. Water so clean and refreshing. All the towns well kept. Pebble beaches (not sand). We did Split to Dubrovnik route then had a couple of nights in hotel in Lapad (Dub) to relax. Thanks Sail Croatia for a memorable trip !

We have just completed cycling sail croatia week. A few recommendations for sail croatia to consider for upcoming trips, and for travellers who are considering this trip. If you are travelling as a couple you need to specify you want a double room. The food on the boat was very tasty however the orange juice in the morning could be greatly improved. They could also increase their variety of wines on board. Miranda our cycling leader was excellent and very supportive. Time spent in some of the villaages I felt was rushed, definitely wished we had a longer duration in Havar. If you enjoy an active holiday this is definitely one to consider as a way to see Croatia.
- Roisin, 06/07/2026 09:12, Travelled in a Couple
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the cycling, found the food tasty, and that Miranda made such a positive impact on your trip. Regarding the bedding configuration, whilst we're unable to guarantee specific bed types on our Cycle Croatia cruises due to the varying layouts of our vessels, we absolutely welcome guests to let us know if they have a preferred bedding configuration. We do our best to accommodate these requests wherever possible; however, as ship allocations are finalised closer to departure and each vessel has its own unique cabin configuration, we are unable to guarantee them. This information is outlined on our website and within our booking information prior to travel. For guests seeking guaranteed bedding configurations, our Luxury Cycle cruises offer this option. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding the orange juice, wine selection, and the amount of time spent in some of the destinations. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to welcome you back to Croatia in the future.
Varying (hour by hour) ship schedule made it difficult to fully plan/enjoy. Schedule was blamed on docking constraints which were not immediately apparent unless line was saving on fees. Lack of opportunities to swim off ship was also disappointing. Coffee/tea should’ve been available free during all waking hours. More pillows desperately needed. Staff was appropriate.
- Anonymous, 06/07/2026 08:31, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you found our crew to be appropriate, and we appreciate your comments on the overall experience. As our vessels operate within busy working harbours, daily schedules can vary depending on port availability, harbour authority requirements, and operational considerations. While this can occasionally impact time in port or swimming opportunities, these decisions are made to ensure the smooth and safe operation of each cruise. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding the availability of complimentary tea and coffee, additional pillows, and swimming stops. Guest feedback such as yours is valuable, and we'll be sure to share your comments with the relevant teams as we continue to review and enhance our onboard experience. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on board again in the future.
Fantastic. Boat food was middle to good but not outstanding. Trip was overall fantastic.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Was impressed with the Olimp: impeccably maintained, everything gleaming, spick-and-span, and the whole crew were friendly & helpful, and Vedran is a star organiser! Our lunches were all delicious. .The breakfast buffet was sufficient except for the "orange juice" which neither looked nor tasted as if it had been near a real orange. Breakfast was too short, and too early. Should last until at least 10am, Also I'd have liked the option to eat on the outside deck. When at sea who wants to be in an enclosed space.? The highlight of the trip was swimming. But I wanted more & longer swim stops. Most were only 1 hour - not enough to enjoy repeatedly jumping into that gorgeous turquoise sea! I'd have also appreciated more time actually sailing, not moored in a port. The expeditions were at the hottest time of day, so I mostly opted out and relaxed on the ship's cushions in the breeze - that upper deck lounging area was a perfect touch of luxury!
- Alix, 30/06/2026 19:54, Travelled with Friend/s
Not for those that want relaxation and quiet strolling mixed with biking. Not enough time to swim and stroll between biking or even during biking times. No fluff, that’s for sure.

The Sail Croatia trip was great. Beautiful swim stops, interesting fellow travelers, and no shortage of food or drinks. Good value for money, and leaves you wanting more time in Croatia. A few things I would change: The amount of time spent in port towns. We were really only in a port during the late afternoons and at night, and it would have been really nice to have more daytime to explore the islands and towns. There's a lot of food waste on the boat. Every lunch had three courses, and they were huge and quite heavy. One or two courses, or the ability to opt in or out of certain courses, would reduce food waste. Also, the house wine on the boat was from two huge plastic jugs on the floor behind the bar. It was super sweet and undrinkable. It would have been nice to have the option for a glass of decent house wine, instead of having to purchase whole bottles.
- Amy, 28/06/2026 18:57, Travelled with Friend/s
We had the most amazing time on sail Croatia! Our trip manager was lovely! My only comments would be that on the trip itself there was a lot of hidden costs (bus rides paid in cash, taxes, tips, etc) so we spend significantly more than planned.

Thank you for your 4 star review and for joining us on a Sail Croatia cruise. We're delighted to hear that you had an amazing time and that your Onboard Representative helped make your experience so enjoyable. We appreciate your feedback regarding additional costs. Information about the €40 Local Payment is provided prior to booking and is visible on guests' Online Accounts, payment receipts, FAQs and Pre-Departure Information. Any additional transfers, such as buses or water taxis are highlighted on the website itinerary to help guests budget accordingly. While tipping is entirely optional, we do provide guidance for guests who wish to tip within our Pre-Departure Information. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you onboard again in the future.
The trip was well organized however the app made it difficult to determine the planned daily distances, leaving me to retrieve information from previously emailed tour notes. Be great to have it all in one place.

Enjoyed the biking and guides. Crew was great.Views were spectacular. The cabin left a lot to be desired. Terrible mattress, bathroom was a mess, couldn’t shower without wetting the whole room, AC was subpar.. The food was mostly good, with several poor mains and sides. fruit cocktail from a can should not be served for dessert. drink prices on board were extremely high, five euros for a small Coke..

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cycling, found the guides and crew to be great, and were able to take in the spectacular views throughout your journey. We also appreciate your honest comments regarding the cabin, dining, and onboard drinks. Guest feedback is invaluable in helping us identify areas where we can improve, and we will be sharing your observations with our operations and catering teams for review. While we're pleased that much of the food met your tastes, we're sorry that certain meals and aspects of the cabin experience fell short. We do note that meal ratings from other guests on your departure averaged 4.57 out of 5; however, we fully appreciate that dining experiences and personal tastes can vary from guest to guest, and we respect your individual perspective. Thank you again for travelling with us. We truly value your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you onboard another adventure in the future.
Bloody brilliant!!!!!! Nikola was the most amazing rep we could have asked for! So kind, caring and knowledgeable. Very thorough and organised, always going above and beyond to make us feel safe and looked after. He gave us lots of recommendations and suggestions which made our trip even better! An amazing tour guide, friend and host! Shoutout to Darren & Nathan for the amazing meals and banter! My friends and I will miss the sail Croatia team dearly.

Our holiday was great, and our rep Vicko was very good . The boat was comfortable and clean, the food was excellent . My only complaint is that on Sunday we were thrown off one and a half hours. Before our airportbtransport arrived In a heat;of 33 and told to go to a cafe down the road which was closed and the seats wired up which with luggage is unacceptable. Caroline Cornell

It was very fair, the weather was excellent and the staff on the ship were very good. Friendly, helpful and provide excellent service. The food on board were excellent and both the chef and his helper did an exception job. Considering with a small kitchen and serve 29 people daily. Your manager did a excellent job. The biggest issues is the itinerary. Way too much idle time. I am a veteran of river cruises and this is certainly no comparison to those programs. May I suggest that perhaps add some more activities to each island that we visited. Alternate lunch and dinner on board. On the final stop, Dubrovnik, sail pass with the view of the old town must be added. For the life of me, I can't believe we didn't do it. Instead we had a swim just outside for an hour just to wait for docking, is the fuel that expensive?

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the excellent weather, friendly and attentive crew, and the exceptional food prepared by our chef and galley team. It's also wonderful to know our Tour Manager helped make your experience memorable. We also appreciate your constructive suggestions regarding the itinerary and activities. Guest feedback like yours is invaluable, and we will certainly take your comments into consideration as we continue to refine and enhance our cruising experience. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us.
Overall it was wonderful. The full group of passengers were amazing and Croatia is stunning. Our hikes were beautiful. Our cabin was quite small and very damp. Our clothes and towels never felt dry. We were thankful that it was cool and quieter during the night when parked next to party boats, though it was a bit noisy when the engines started in the morning. We thought the food was quite good. In sum, great experience and would choose a bit nicer ship next time.

We had a great time on our sail and cycle cruise thanks to Marin and Josip and our crew. Marin was our guide and Josip was our cycling guide and they were a great team-professional and very qualified yet warm and engaging. The support we received from these guys both on and off the bike was really amazing. I feel as though we got really lucky to have them assigned to our group. I took a star away because our boat-the Dionis-was very worn out. There were only 8 plastic loungers strewn about on the top deck and two were broken and there were 27 of us on board. We kept seeing other Sail Croatia boats with a full deck of chairs with cushions and I still can’t understand the disparity. Also, my husband and I ended up with a below deck cabin. It was dark, smelly, and very damp. Even the sheets at night were damp. I feel as though the trip could have been a perfect five stars if Sail Croatia had given more attention to the accommodations on the boat.

Beyond expectations. Incredible leaders who gave us a history lesson. Truly ambassadors of the country

The ship Emanuel is a well renovated 1955 small passenger ship with maximizing passenger carrying at expense of cabin space. The ship is rated standard when the brochure said Premier grade for the hiking cruise. Food was unimaginative but acceptable and drinks overpriced. Tea and coffee should be freely available during the day. The cabin was clean with a hard and lumpy bed, noise from outside was a problem at times as we were on the corridor connecting other ships alongside and music was often loud but finished at 11pm. Crew and guides were friendly and helpful but more info on the history and other information about the places visited would be good. The cruise itself visited some wonderful places and i wouldn't have missed it but things could have been done better.
- Graham, 15/06/2026 16:24, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Graham, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the itinerary and the wonderful destinations visited, as well as the service provided by our crew and guides. Emanuel is classified within our Premier Ship category, offering amenities such as private ensuite bathrooms and air-conditioned cabins. As a traditionally built vessel, cabin sizes and layouts differ from ship to ship. For guests seeking a higher level of onboard comfort and space, we also offer our Premier Plus ship category vessels. Regarding the noise, the ports we visit operate under their own local regulations and curfews, and activity from neighbouring vessels can occasionally be beyond our control. We appreciate your comments regarding the food, onboard amenities, and guided commentary, and will take these into consideration as we continue to improve our guest experience.
We loved seeing the Dalmation Islands, the beautiful walks and we enjoyed the public areas of the boat, Emanuel. However in the small cabin the bed was hard and lumpy. The addition of decent mattress toppers would be an easy fix and a big improvement. While I appreciate limited galley space, the food could be easily improved with forethought. For example for vegetarians a homemade lentil and spinach soup would be a simple and massive improvement on powdered mushroom soup. The salads were very basic; lettuce in a bowl and likewise could be upgraded with a few extras and with the addition of, for example, cooked potatoes chick peas with decent bread would have been a nicer main course than fried vege fritters from a packet. One day we had lunch of potato crocquettes with potato and vege fritters and chips, all from a packet, all fried! Breakfasts were good with nice vege choice. Bar a bit pricey. Tea and coffee all day should be included for the price of the holiday.
- Anonymous, 15/06/2026 16:02, Travelled in a Couple
The actual holiday was wonderful however the downside was overprice wine and beer with small portions and not very good wine Having to pay bar bill in cash was inconvenient and bad
- Dave Holden, 15/06/2026 14:17, Travelled with Friend/s
The seven night cruise in Croatia was an enjoyable experience. We saw different islands, daily swims and enjoyed the staff. The food was good and was typical Croatian food, lots of meat. If you are vegetarian they will accommodate you. If you like to float on a float during the swim stops bring your own floatation as there are limited choices.. Couple things I would change are the mattresses on the beds. They were very lumpy and hard on my body. I think more towels should be given to the passengers as they only do one exchange for the entire week.

Cabin:: + adequate space. -- cigarette smoke frequently entered our cabin (15) via the a/c system. As nonsmokers w tobacco allergies, It was very problematic as it started early in the morning and last into the late evening affecting our sleep. Ship: + nice facilities and layout. — the not hot, hot tub was not filled until 1/2 way thru the cruise. And then not really utilized. Recommend repurposing that space for 6 more lounges so most passengers can have a lounge. Food: + passionate chef and assistant. Hot food available w breakfast and lunches. Really good quality. Service was great (Mario). Bar: + staff friendly and helpful. — unfortunately wines by the glass were restricted to one brand and were of poor quality and overpriced. You pay € for all beverages, tea, coffee, sodas, juices and again more than what u pay in ports. Coffee, tea, and juices only provided at breakfast. For lunch, only water served. Easy to have added inexpensive iced tea. Active:: + pleasant staff - disorganiz

Wonderful, beautiful scenery ! Marin & Johnny were the perfect pair and excellent guides delivering 5/5 stars! Marin's historical knowledge was impressive; he was a mine of information and great local recommendations, he really took care of everyone! Johnny gave us the best restaurant recommendations or tips of where to go. Some of the bike rides took us up very steep hills and windy roads close to the cliff edges and while the views were beautiful I'm scared of heights, but luckily Johnny was there to support and kindly encourage me down, he was lovely! Kerim our bartender was very attentive & our food was good! Our ship was immaculate but it was older so while we had an upper cabin our bed was positioned up against the wall so I had crawl over the bed to get to my side. It wasn't the end of the world but we felt like we were camping :) which is why I am giving this review 4 stars! I'd highly recommend this trip, all the islands we visited were amazing and we loved Croatia!

I wouldn’t ever sail on the standard of boat used on this trip because the cabins were pretty much all of a low standard in one way or another. Additionally noise at night was a significant issue, due to tie ups in harbour. Sleep quality on the boat was poor and the cabin air conditioning caused throat problems. The tipping expectations for staff on this boat of about 20% of the cost of the trip were ridiculous. No one tipped that much, Other people on the boat great fun. Ilona was a very good hike leader. Food on board ok to good, but why no menu for the week or choices? Would go to Croatia again but on a land based tour. The hikes were worth doing. None of our friends would tolerate the standard of boat so wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Hi there, Thank you for your 3-Star review and for taking the time to leave your feedback. It is great to hear that you enjoyed the company of your fellow travellers and that Ilona was a very good hike leader. We will be sure to pass on your comments to Ilona. We are also pleased to hear that the food onboard was good. As per our website our guests enjoy a 3 course lunch daily which received a high score of 4.67 out of 5 from your particular departure. We could't agree more that the hikes are worth doing. Our Hike cruises certainly do allow you to completely immerse yourself in the beautiful nature of this country and year after year these type of holidays are becoming more and more popular. We are however sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy certain aspects of the ship and thank you for your feedback received during the week and after the cruise. We understand you tried to book our Luxury Hike cruise which unfortunately was sold out - and this somewhat left you disappointed with your Premier ship experience. We would like to highlight that the feedback collected from our guests at the end of the cruise resulted in an outstanding overall score for the ship of 4.79 out of 5. Thank you for sharing your comments regarding the noise in port. It is correct that all the ships - as with any tour operator in Croatia - are moored up in the harbours at night. As is the case with any type of cruise and group travel, one must expect a certain degree of noise - whether from onboard social activity, natural sounds and mechanics of being on a ship as well as the surrounding people from other ships. As outlined in our pre-departure documentation and guest App, tipping is entirely optional. The crew onboard our ships are paid fairly for their work; however, gratuities are a widely recognised way for guests to acknowledge exceptional service. Many guests choose to leave a tip as a gesture of appreciation, however this is always at each individual's discretion. Thank you once again for travelling with us.
Great 7 days on board Columbo visiting and cycling a beautiful selection of islands including Hvar, Vis, Korčula, Mljet and Sipan. Always felt we were in safe hands with our calm leader Ivaniča and ever smiling guide Olja.

Sail Croatia, who I have used before were excellent in all areas, keeping us informed, before joining, welcoming us on arrival and making sure we had had a great time, when we returned. Unfortunately, it turns out that the boat that we had chartered, Rookie, was actually owned by another company, Ultra Sailing, and that Sail Croatia, this time, were just the booking agents. Unlike Sail Croatia, the greeting that we received from Ultra, was very cold and we felt immediately unwelcome by the woman, who checked us in, who shouldn’t be in a role, in front of customers. We had the same experience, with the same woman, on our return. Despite this, we had a fantastic week, on the water, in this beautiful part of the world. Shame, we would use Sail Croatia, again, but will never return to ACI Marina in Split, again

Fantastic, loved the island rides especially in quiet places. Amazing coastline and beautiful views. Great guides and staff. Things that need improvement . 1 needed softer mattress 2. A system to log guests on and off securely so no-one can get left behind. 3. Give all info before getting off to start riding to save confusion. 4. Do not rely on apps as not all can use mb phones when traveling & riding. 5. Self serve Tea and coffee should be available free to guests.6. Meals do not need to be so formal or take up so much time. 7. Bikes need bells for safety and small panier bags to carry items securely.

We were disappointed in several aspects of this cruise. I will send an email to Sail Croatia outlining my concerns.
- Robert, 08/06/2026 15:23, Travelled in a Couple
Loved biking in Croatia and seeing many islands. The guides were great. The boat did not have any comfortable out door lounge chairs, many were broken, no cushions. The bedroom pillows were terrible and the bed was very hard.

We really enjoyed our week on Aphradita. Sasha and Natasha were great hosts and guides. The hiking was perfect - the week was a perfect balance of activity and down time. Would recommend.
- Sandra, 05/06/2026 20:39, Travelled in a Couple
We enjoyed the bike rides, the sceneries were beautiful. The e-bikes worked very well. The group was a bit too large, a bit squeezed on the boat. The meals were excellent but we would have liked at time more buffet or picnic type of meal. We enjoyed a lot swimming from the boat, the Adriatic sea is so beautiful . Our guides, Marin and Martin, were excellent. They cared a lot for the security and were extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant peuple, I recommend them to all the groups.
- Nicole, 05/06/2026 12:11, Travelled in a Couple
Fun holiday. Maybe 1/2 days too long. Alcohol on board very expensive. Breakfasts were very much the same each day. Felt leaders could have done more - like dinners out on town - to build comraderey. Hikes seemed like last minute thoughts. Leader took few breaks, not a lot of stopping to explain interesting facts. But maybe there weren’t many. 😬 all in all fun , beautiful Boat and great crew

Good trip Lovely weather Beautiful scenery Lovely staff No WiFi in room disappointing Thrown off bat at 08.30 into a concrete jungle yet taxi booked for 10.00 - stupid

Our guides were amazing. Crew brilliant. Costs such as port taxes and park fees were a bit of a surprise. Cabin was on the lower deck and was really damp even with the door left ajar. We were not allowed to open the portholes overnight whilst docked. Double bed was way too high to get in and out of comfortably.
- Anonymous, 03/06/2026 19:14, Travelled in a Couple
It was great overall. Some of the things outside of the biking was that things like port taxes and park fees were not included in the costs. The cabins were also quite damp below deck and our bed you nearly had to take a run and jump to get into it as it was really high. Not great for an older couple.

Great! loved the cycling and the tour guides. Our days out on the bikes were absolutely great. Both Marin and Martin did everything they could to make the trip enjoyable. My concerns were with things that were in the Captains control: 1. Why was air conditioning not on every night? not on for both first and last night which is poor. 2. bedding was sub par at best, poor quality and could have used an extra pillow. 3. Food was not great. I feel an al a carte menu would have been better as this was eat what you get which really was not appealing to me for a trip with this price. Our daughter was with us, she eats vegetarian and her food was absolutely terrible. Boris, the chef, needs to do better! 4. on board bar was poorly stocked. We would have used this service if items were available but it was basically just one wine and draft beer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you loved the cycling experience and that Marin and Martin helped make your trip so enjoyable. We will be sure to pass on your kind comments to them, as our guides work incredibly hard to create memorable experiences for our guests. We're sorry to hear that certain aspects of the onboard experience did not fully meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the air conditioning, cabin comfort, food offerings, vegetarian meals, and onboard bar selection. As the vessel relies on shore power while docked for the air conditioning system to operate, occasional interruptions can occur if the shore power connection is temporarily disconnected. We understand that these elements play an important role in the overall guest experience, and we will ensure your feedback is shared with the vessel operator for review and consideration. In particular, we're sorry to hear that the meals, including the vegetarian options provided for your daughter, did not meet your expectations. We recognise the importance of catering to a variety of dietary preferences and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and recommendation. We truly value guest insights as they help us continue to improve our experiences.
I enjoyed the cruise itinerary and the ship was very nice. Unfortunately other cruise attendees were obnoxious and inconsiderate. the ship staff seemed to favor the needs of these individuals, making the overall experience unpleasant at times. I chose an Elegance cruise expecting a different environment. Even other cruise ships were complaining about our “party ship”
- Anonymous, 02/06/2026 17:55, Travelled with Friend/s
We thoroughly enjoyed our days cycling around the islands. Our guides Marin and Martin were superb! The ship however needs some work. The room was not very clean as well as the ship. The room we were given was right next to the engine which awoke us each morning and also smelt of exhaust. The captain was very nice but his staff seemed uninterested in their jobs and did a lot of sitting around (while the ship needed) cleaning.) The food was not very good.

The itinerary on our 7 day Tempera cruise was great, our cabin was fantastic but unfortunately the whole experience was severly let down by incredibly poor food and service staff. Definitely not worth the money we paid for the trip.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the itinerary and that you were pleased with your cabin aboard Tempera. However, we are sorry to learn that the dining experience and onboard service did not meet your expectations and detracted from your overall enjoyment of the cruise. We understand how important both the quality of the food and attentive service are to the overall holiday experience, and we regret that these aspects fell short from your perspective. While reviewing feedback from this departure, we noted that the meals provided fell slightly below the high standards we strive to deliver to our guests. Your comments regarding both the food and service have been shared with our team for their review and consideration, as guest feedback plays an important role in helping us identify areas for improvement. While we are pleased that there were elements of the cruise you enjoyed, we are sorry that the overall experience did not feel reflective of the value you expected. Thank you again for your constructive feedback and recommendation. We truly value guest insights as they help us continue to improve our experiences.
Try to get pics of room prior to booking-I think we had the worst room on the boat. Room 2 on Tempera has a large intrusion in the room from the next door curved staircase requiring you to hunch over on far side of bed when getting in or out. That closet opens up ONTO the bed and is almost unuseable. The tiny curved table in the room slants down so things slide off of it. The bed was comfortable and the room size decent. The breakfast was good- sausage, eggs, fruit, pastries…. but I (and many other judging by appearances) found the lunches inedible. greasy rice stuffed pepper served with cold mashed potatoes, a bowl of buttered noidles served with a small thin slice of overcooked meat served with more noodles, Very carb heavy and mostly served warm not hot. Soups and desserts were good.

We had a lovely time on our Sail Croatia Bike Cruise. I will recommend but with these suggestions. The food on our ship was not great. Edible but poorer quality than I expected. The crew tended to be quite surly and mostly smoked or were on their phones. Our guides were phenomenal and did a fantastic job. They really made the trip. The bikes (we all had e-bikes) were very good quality and easy to use. The scenery was fantastic and luckily we had a large (33 passengers) group but everyone was great and got along well. I would strongly suggest upgrading to premier plus or looking at a higher quality company if good food and a nice ship are important to you.

Had a fantastic time on Sail Croatia biking cruise. The guides and boat crew were wonderful. We were lucky and had gorgeous weather all but one day. Seeing the different islands by bike was truly special and was awesome to see so much of each island.

Overall my holiday was incredible. The itinerary of the trip was well thought out and the places we visited absolutely beautiful. Our guide Josip was so friendly, inviting and informative. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience on board as well as in every town we visited. I really appreciated how he involved himself in the group and was a central part to everyone getting to know each other so well. The crew of our ship TVRDI were also a highlight, they were friendly, helpful and hard working and we all left feeling so grateful to have got to know them. My only negative experience on sail was the pricing of drinks, activities and recommended restaurants. As young people this experience is already expensive and while I believe the sail itself is well worth it there could be adjustments made to make it more affordable. I would’ve loved to have free or decently priced walking tours included in each place to learn more about the history, culture, and stories.

Great holiday, the staff were excellent and the ship was fantastic. There is room for improvement. More ventilation in the lower cabins, aircon wasn’t effective. The coffee was very bad and there could be more fruit at breakfast and some soap included would be helpful. Also if beach towels are not provided it would be good to know that before we left Australia. Apart from that it was a great part of our trip
- Anonymous, 30/05/2026 05:14, Travelled in a Couple
Our holiday was very relaxing. Dino was 5 stars and so were the rest of the crew. Great way to see the islands. The only reason we rated 4stars instead of 5 is because we would have preferred not to be served a full 3 course meal at lunch. A buffet would have been better. Save the big meal for when we were in the towns. As it was we ate two dinner type meals a day until we decided to just not eat lunch on the ship.
- Anonymous, 27/05/2026 17:06, Travelled in a Couple
I filled the quick review onboard but understood there would be a more thorough evaluation of our trip. The biggest concern I had was the food. It was not up to standard. You should hire qualified trained chefs. Thousand island salad dressing was over poured on all salads. White bread for the most part. Not alot of citrus fruit. Overcooked tuna at captains dinner and appetizer unappealing. The captain wore a sweatshirt at the captains dinner. You couldn’t order a glass of wine you needed to buy a bottle. .

Era la primera vez que íbamos de crucero en un barco de estas características. . La experiencia fue genial. A pesar de ser Lis únicos españoles, todo el mundo, tanto trabajadores como pasajeros hicieron todo lo posible para que estuviéramos agusto.

The sailing holiday was very good, the boat , OLIMP, was great and the size of the cabin brilliant. Service was very good by the staff and Dino was quite good as the co-ordinator. The only issue was with the payment of the bar. tab at the end of the trip and what cards that were accepted. A few things should be made clearer at the start of the trip so as not to have them becoming an issue on the last night. I will be recommending this trip to fiends for sure.

Overall a wonderful experience. The hides were superb, rides were great and scenery unbelievable. A couple of drawbacks - there is a schedule to rides so not as many opportunities to stop and see things or swim etc along the way as I hoped. And did get a little sea sick at times. Also would have preferred a buffet so you could serve yourself the amount of food you could eat. 3 course lunches were sometimes a lot.

I had a fantastic time on my Sail Croatia cruise—the route, crew, and food were all great. That said, I was surprised by the 40€ tourist tax per person, which wasn’t clearly explained upfront and for which I received no receipt. I also wasn’t comfortable with how our passports were left in an unlocked plastic box in the dining salon at night, with no visible security. Tipping felt a bit awkward too, especially when envelopes were later collected over WhatsApp after limited communication. Overall, I’d still recommend Sail Croatia, but these small improvements would make the experience even better.
- Anonymous, 25/05/2026 05:42, Travelled in a Couple
Thank you for your feedback and for joining us - we’re really glad to hear you had a fantastic time onboard and enjoyed the route, crew, and food. The €40 local payment per person is payable onboard all Sail Croatia cruises. This fee covers port charges and tourist taxes throughout the week. We do communicate this in advance via our FAQs, your Online Account, all payment receipts that are emailed to you, and pre-departure information, but we appreciate your feedback. Thank you also for your comments regarding tipping and passport storage - we value this insight and will pass it on to our operations team for review.
I had a great time. Guides were outstanding (Josko and Lauren). I felt safe in their hands. Itinerary: I would have preferred more kilometers The bikes were basic and minimal. I expected better quality, especially the non E-bikes. The boat was fine. I did not need anything fancier. More than adequate The food was good but often overcooked. (The captain was a great pilot, he has no business interfering in the kitchen) Portions too big; buffet style may be better. I appreciated breakfast as I could serve myself and the variety was perfect. The portions at lunch were way too big. I dont like wasting food. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Consider other drinks at the bar (juice, lemonade…)

Boat crew were efficient. The two guides were knowledgable and helpful. Overall, the ride was fantastic with very good bikes and very amazing scenery.. HOWEVER, we did book and pay for a cabin with double bed. But instead got a single bed on one side and a bunk bed on the other side of the cabin which was dissapointing.
- Raymond Cooper, 19/05/2026 12:27, Travelled in a Couple
Hi Raymond, thank you for taking the time to review your Cycle cruise with us this season, and for sharing your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed the cycling experience, scenery, bikes and found both our crew and guides knowledgable and helpful. It is a shame to read of your disappointment regarding the cabin bedding arrangement. We would like to clarify that bedding configurations are not guaranteed unless specifically requested and confirmed prior to departure. Upon reviewing the booking, we can see that a request for a double bed was not submitted by your travel agent at the time of booking, and therefore this was not something our team had been made aware of in advance. We always aim to accommodate guest preferences wherever possible and appreciate your feedback. Thank you again, it was a pleasure to have you join us!
Okay. The food was average despite cooks efforts to prepare and serve quality food. There was no alcohol provided with Captains dinner. Staff were great!
- Anonymous, 19/05/2026 08:06, Travelled in a Couple
Great crew, great fellow tourers! The itinerary was excellent. The bikes were garbage. You should not offer a tour where cycling is a feature and then provide bikes that were selected on cost only. Our tour leader spent far too much time trying to keep the bikes operational.

Croatia's coastline is simply beautiful and the cities of Dubrovnik and Split were well worth the visit. The smaller islands were interesting and pretty if missing cultural interest, but thanks to our wine-themed cruise, there was always something to see/do. The crew and especially our guide Lola were cheerful, helpful and fun (my husband and I were traveling with a solo friend, so with 3 at our table, we were able to share a lot of meals with Lola). We've done a number of cruises in the past, from 120 passengers up to about 2000, and unfortunately I'm prone to seasickness, so on that front the trip was not great - I definitely appreciated our captain's decision to skip one island due to rough seas! The smaller size ship also meant that our cabin was much smaller than what we've experienced before and there was really nowhere other than the dining area for people to gather together when it was raining which was unfortunate. Overall, it was a lovely experience!
- Barbara, 18/05/2026 07:21, Travelled with Friend/s
I'm sorry I cannot give a 5 star review. The great things about the ship was the chef, the crew and the facilities. All great - clean, organized, well run. My disappointment was in the lack of excursions on the islands between Dubrovnik and Split. I thought that we should have some kind of introduction to each island and short walking tour each time we docked. Everyday was a swim day and because the water was too cold to swim I had hoped that an adjustment would be made to the schedule for an alternate activity. Perhaps dock earlier to give us some time off the boat. There was too much sitting around time. From breakfast, through lunch there was nothing to do if you did not swim (& no one did). We did not disembark til 2 pm. Our tour dir. did her job perfunctorily and made arrangements as requested, She was not as visible or involved with our group. Although she said she has been doing this for 4 years she came off as unsure and inexperienced.

Many great highlights - fabulous country and facilities Suggestions When arriving at Dubrovnik- do a full on water up and down around old town before we dock Lunches are great but heavy 3 course meal for lunch prefer lighter salad etc Service was great , host very knowledgeable Great boat

Intimate (but not crowded) specialty cruise: Best of Croatia Wine with 32 passengers on board beautifully crafted and built elegance passenger ship guided by an exceptional Captain Gordon, a team of gracious crew: warm welcome every moment of the day by Luce, Pamela in the salon, delicious meals by Chef Frans and Aline, comfortable and spotless cleaned cabin by Emma, expeditiously attentive and hardworking by sailors, Josip and Josip, and a kind, clam expertise of the cruise manager, Lola; who is always presence with daily planned itineraries to many of the best Croatia wine venues as well as attuned to all passengers' needs and requests.

Although the entire experience was outstanding I do have a couple of points: 1.) As an experienced cyclist, I had no issues but I did see some areas of saftey that could be improved. There was confusion throughout the day as directions were, at times, incomplete and vague. 2.) Food was another issue as items at breakfast would run out and the main course lunches were mediocre. 3.) Coffee is always an issue for me and yours was the worst. (Sorry) 4.) I didn't understand why we couldn't pay our bar tab with a credit card. Many were short on cash and had to rush to an ATM. 5.) Whatsapp feature was great, would of been nice to get the days briefing in advance of actual briefing at 8:30 so we could follow along and have questions prepared. All in all our tour guides were friendly and well informed about the areas we visited and I would recommend this tour to friends The boat was immaculate and comfortable. Great way to see Croatia for the first time.

The tour guide Visco was excellent and also all the crew. The food was lovely. The boat is a little old, but. Was still great.
- Julie Andrew , 11/05/2026 06:09, Travelled with Friend/s
Better quality ship. Emmanuel was old but clean and very middle of the road for overall amenities, a boat not a yacht; lunches were very good, breakfasts mediocre Cycling guides and routes were very good but too short ( advertise this as a leisurely cycling if e bikes being used) and the regular bycyles should not be allowed as we were constantly waiting for them to catch up. Also entrance fees to parks and historical sites should be included in the overall package. Similar to Viking make tipping a part of the trip package.

The cycling tour guide made it Tonka , Martina Alena were si nice and helpful , Tonka is a HOOT , so helpful , great sense of humour !!!! Christina the hostess was Super !!!!

The cruise was lovely & scenic. I wish we had more time at the ports, the time spent at the swim stops & lunch seemed a little too long. Staff were nice & very professional. Ship was well maintained & very clean.

We were 4 people that joined an existing group of 24 people that were all connected with each other. We were fortunate in that we all got along great. They were great cheerleaders for those of us not riding e-bikes. Our ride leaders, Ivica and Mario, did an amazing job of planning our rides each day, adjusting routes for the weather and our group's skill level. The crew on the boat were very friendly and helpful. Extra shout out to Christiana, David and our chef (for adjusting meals to meet my vegetarian dietary needs)

We loved the bike and sail it was beautiful, fun, great biking and sights to see, it was absolutely gorgeous!! The food on the boat was incredible and the guides on the boat and the Bike ride were the Best. Tonka and Ema made our trip what it was.
- Lori, 16/10/2025 00:23, Travelled with Friend/s
Our tour guides, Ivan and Lucy, were fantastic! Ivan led the bike tours, keeping us safe and informed about the challenges of the daily routes, while never losing his sense of humor. Our group ranged from seasoned cyclists to relative newbies, and we rode a range of bicycles, but Ivan identified routes that were both challenging, but manageable, and incredibly scenic for all. Lucy complemented Ivan with her extensive knowledge of the history of each island we visited, leaving us all al little bit more enriched by the experience. She also gave us daily dining and touring recommendations, which allowed us to explore the islands a little bit on our own. They were the dynamic duo, for sure!
- Catherine, 15/10/2025 12:39, Travelled with Friend/s
The food variety/cooking quality. While the rides were spectacular and the guides entertaining and informed, I found the meat and fish generally overcooked and bland. The fresh fruit and salads were enjoyed - but more of the soups would be good as well The breakfasts could be improved with less repetition. I was also surprised at the minimal seafood offerings, given the location.
- Anonymous, 15/10/2025 12:11, Travelled in a Couple
The captain and crew were great. The boat was clean and well kept. We did have some difficulty with enough hot water for showers, but resolved with timing. The guides were excellent. Cheerful, enthusiastic and professional. The food was the reason for the four stars, and maybe I’m being unfair. The cook prepared meals for 31 guests in a broom closet size space and the budget was probably pretty tight. The food was plentiful and had good variety. The only complaint I had, was that the meat was consistently overcooked, especially the fish. It certainly wouldn’t discourage me from booking another trip with this company, or this crew.

We enjoyed our travel of the Croatian islands with Sail Croatia. Ioana made the experience great ! She has given reliable information and realistic expectations of the activities every day. We made so many friends which added value to the experience itself! Food is great ! The cabin was spacious and clean. If anything, I would recommend all inclusive sailing, maybe offering 1 or 2 options of activities for the passengers to choose from . Thank you for this experience! Best, Arlyn and Thomas

Everything was well laid out and organized daily. The staff were professional and friendly. We felt safe and appreciated ,and as a result we were well taken care of morning to night.

Katerina is owned and crewed by the family. This is a 5 star rating. Ship is spotless and crew are the best. Owner and crew (mostly family and cousins) are so attentive to every detail. Meals: adequate and enjoyable but not outstanding. Captains' dinner was very good. Activities: not memorable. Walking tour in Dubrovnik was boring. Ship provided dinner was not impressive. Should have stayed in port and gone to local restaurant Ioana our tour director was 5 stars' She had to deal with a lot of shifting itinerary and was a truly shing star for the passengers. Overall was a nice experience. Met a lot of good people and that was a big plus; Croatia is very expensive on the street Plan to spend some BIG $$ in local establishments. Overall, a check on our bucket list. Nice but would not do again

Our bike tour leaders Marin and Ilona were fantastic. Highly skilled, organized, caring and kept our group very safe. I thoroughly appreciated, as well enjoyed spending time with them. Sail Croatia should highly regard both these staff. A big 6 out of 5 for these two. They went way above beyond what was well beyond the minimum they needed to do.

We had a wonderful week sailing with Sail Croatia and would happily recommend them to others. The entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Our boat was ready on time and in great condition, and the team provided helpful assistance both before we set off and when we were leaving the dock. Their communication was excellent. Before the trip, any message I sent was answered promptly with all the details we needed. This continued during our journey. When we saw a "bura" wind in the forecast, we messaged them for advice. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and gave us clear steps to take. They also went out of their way to help with a small request, providing an extra coffee machine for the boat when we asked, which was much appreciated. A particular highlight was Karolina, who personally stopped by to check in on us and make sure everything was going well. It was a nice, personal touch that showed they care about their guests. Highly recommend Sail Croatia!

We sailed on the Queen Jelena (Split North itinerary). Beautiful boat, really good crew. The food onboard was just OK, often just warm rather than hot. A 3 course lunch is not what most people have day to day at home and the thoughts from fellow passengers were thst this was a bit rigid and maybe a buffet style lighter lunch would be better as it felt you had breakfast and a couple of hours later a large lunch making you lethargic. Trips were ok, village dinner was good, buggy trip was good but not best value. More time needed in Dubrovnik as it beautiful, I would skip the walking tour (pointless) and enjoy more time exploring yourself. All stops on this itinerary were beautiful. One last point; the daily briefing should be carried out using the TV in the saloon as shown on the website content so you can actually get a visual idea of your day ahead. The WhatsApp group is useful when it's set up. Overall a good experience, 7.5/ 10

Great staff and itinerary. A little more cleaning - railings and doors should be everyday. Sanitizer in dining room and public spaces. Half our group got sick which was NOT fun. Probably not their fault. All else was excellent. Their bikes were well Maintained and it was beautiful.

After 9 months of planning I was eager to embark upon our biking excursion. Ivan an Lucy were exceptionally good guides - offering humour and historical context. The crew were wonderful and the food was delicious.

The staff were amazing. Mario, the Sail Croatia rep on the boat, was friendly, very knowledgeable and spoke several languages fluently. Matte the walk guide was clearly experienced but also patient and able to adjust to the needs of the group. The crew of the Mali Ante were delightful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great holiday. The cabins were small but had plenty of storage and the shower was great. The food was homely, crowd pleasing and generous. We got to know everyone on the trip and enjoyed the multinational vibe..

We had the best vacation on the Olimp with 10 of our friends. The boat is beautiful, cabins are modern and bathrooms are great. There is plenty of space (in the sun or in the shade) to relax and enjoy the passing scenery. Captain George and the Olimp crew were fantastic, making sure we were safe, happy and well feed & ‘watered’! The islands we visited were lovely and we all enjoyed wondering round and exploring them. Daily swim stops were fun and locations were always very picturesque.

We enjoyed the crew and getting to know the passengers. . The food was inconsistent, not always stellar . Much of it dry and cold, the coffee was instant, and we had to pay extra for real coffee. The islands themselves very scenic, the ship was clean, and the crew were amazing. We would do a smaller cruise but upgrade to a fancier ship with better food. Otherwise, great memories were made.

Swim stops. Port visits. Particularly Korcula and Omiš. Barman ‘Milan’ was a genuine, nice guy. I still believe our room ‘0’ was bigger than others. I asked and was told the rooms were the same size, however when I peeked into a twin room ours was definitely larger! Not so great - Breakfast was monotonous, same every day. Really need a FOC push button coffee machine for use throughout day. The American drip coffee was rubbish and yes paid for the nespresso style coffee from the bar but e3.50 for something not that good. Our window leading outside next to the door required a curtain as well as the twisted Venetian blind there. I had to put up a makeshift curtain to block out the exterior downlights rays coming in. We spoke to a couple who were on a Sail Croatia boat with the same timings as ours and they raved about the food, as prepared by ‘two mamas’ who obviously cooked from the heart. Unlike our chefs!!

Martina and Mio were great. The Guide from Sail Croatia was a little tightly wound and confrontational. The food was just okay, and that’s probably generous. The worst part was all the noise on the boat. Spend ten bucks and put felt sliders on the chairs in the saloon. Seriously. The chair sliding noise killed all the cabins right below it. The drink prices were stupid for what you get. The food was very forgettable. But the boat and the crew were good!

My product ? Your product. Guides were great, boat crew was great ! Communication was fantastic ! All logistics great! Breakfast needs some help. Lunches not great. Need to rename the game- no sailing whatsoever. Bike Croatia is more appropriate.

Cycle guides and Mali Luka staff were all fun and helpful. They all approached their jobs with professionalism and pride. Evan and Ilona took good care of us and shared necessary safety tips in addition to some great stories and history. We had lots of fun. Suggestions to make the experience better: Soap / shampoo in the showers. Towels for boat swims (These are items that don’t work in carryon luggage. Include cycle jerseys in the pkg rate.

First of all the added costs. Quite a few of the added activities were charged. The prices when converted to Australian dollars were quite expensive. Recommended tipping at the end was very high and this was noted by other passengers as well. We were looking at around AU$700 for the service. Considering how much we paid for the cruise wevconsidered it unreasonable to expect extra charges like this on top. Meals. Breakfasts were very nice. However, some of the lunches were variable in quality. Generally, the entree and deserts were fine but some of the main courses were not to liking. Captains dinner was disappointing. The Entertainment was noisy: not allowing any kind of conversation between the passengers. As an older couple, we found the loud music and tactic singing and dancing to be a bit disconcerting. Nikos and Ivanka were both friendly and always helpful. 5 stars to both of them. Also, the cabin was comfortable and clean and about was beautifully presented.

You can find a helpful blog on Tipping on the website and further information is also included in the Pre-Departure Information sent to you prior to departure. We do also note on the Elegance page and Excursions page which activities are included, free or charge or at an additional cost. If ever in doubt, we encourage guests to always reach out to their on board Sail Croatia Representative. Thank you for joining us this season and exploring beautiful Croatia.
We traveled with a group of friends. This cruise perfectly loans itself to a friendly and fun experience. The crew was fantastic, in particular Mio and Martina. They made our experience so much more fun and their attention gave a much higher level of service than expected. The slow progression through the islands felt luxurious and calming. I never felt a moment of motion sickness. The islands and coastline are absolutely stunning. The cabins are good sized, the showers had good water pressure and temperature. The bar was well stocked and available when we wanted it. The only weak area of improvement is the meals. The long lunch is lovely but some of the dishes were not delicious. The daily salad bar was good as was the breakfast. We would have preferred a longer breakfast time. It was early and too short.

Everything about our Croatia Elegance cruise on the Katarina was outstanding, with the exception of the meals, which often weren’t to our liking. But would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic cruise - ship staff and tour leaders were amazing and knowledgeable. Very accommodating to all abilities. Food excellent well above expectations. Our only slight criticism was our cabin which was on the lower deck and felt quite small. In retrospect we would have chosen an upper deck cabin. That said it was a fantastic, memorable holiday made all the more special by the brilliant staff - heads up to Lola and Natasha
