We did seven nights with sail Croatia on a premium ship - which isn’t really premium. The crew and guides were amazing and the cycling really enjoyable. For the price the boat and the food were not of a standard you would rate anywhere near premium. It’s a great experience but if you’re a couple or a little older (over 50) this probably won’t be what you’re expecting.

First experience of cycling by cruise was a learning experience but mostly positive. Rides & bikes excellent, group & information managed really well by our guides. Unfortunately there was an issue with our boat and appreciate a last minute switch by Sail Croatia to keep holiday moving meant few issues. Ship was smaller so a cabin change, dining space cramped, guides were tired & stressed as unable to stay on boat with us. Food was ok but no lighter choices like salad before an afternoon of cycling.

We had a great time sailing the Croatian islands with Sail Croatia. Our crew was great and able to pivot with fires on one of the islands. Princeza Diana boat was very nice and recently remodeled. Weather was spectacular.

Ship was great. Crew was great. Food was great. Cycling was good. Each day should be a minimum of 40 km. 5 and 10 km days were disappointing. Guide should be prepared to quickly repair a flat tire. One day we spent an hour idling while he dealt with that, since he didn’t have the right tools. He should have sent us down the hill to the beach. Overall the briefs need to clearly and briefly state the aims of the ride and how much time in each stop. Electric and regular bikes do not mix. Too much waiting around for the regular riders. A group of 30 or more cyclists is too big to manage. Group size should be 15 max. Overall a great trip.

Overall our holiday was excellent. Great locations and a great crew who went above and beyond to make its success. Only three things I would highlight as opportinited for improvement: 1. Tipping: If the company and the crew have to propose a level for tipping this suggests that the crew wages are insufficient and you are relying ib tips to make them up. I would prefer you set the right wages, adjust the price for guests and leave tipping at the guests' discretion and at a much lower level. 2. The crew asked us to fill out the feedback form in their presence when we settled the bar tab. This wont give you candid feedback. Better to do it afterwards remotely like this. 3. The food was good but not as good as I would expect and most importantly the coffee was way too strong and unfiltered. Get a coffee machine.

Croatia is a beautiful country, gorgeous clear sea, friendly people. Cycling was great, sometimes a bit longer than expected, the cash bar and cash tips were unexpected, and many small places also only used cash so come prepared! 3 course lunch onboard was nice but we weren’t hungry enough for trying full dinners- loved the air con in the room, but could do with more storage in the bedroom. It was a great time with a great group of people. The staff on board were great but the main comments from us and other travellers was that the boat was a bit run down, specifically the linen was ripped and marked and the showers were smelly. Hope this helps

Very well organised from start to finish. Daily briefings, amazing rides (v easy on electric bike) and plenty of tasty food ! Cabins were quite basic but were en suite and had air-con. Plenty of time to sunbathe on deck or visit the islands. Some extra excursions and meals organised for those who wanted to but no pressure to go. All the staff were great esp our group leader Calum (& Srdan) - who had a great knowledge of the Croatian history as well as sorting any issues out throughout the week such as food preferences and general recommendations. Average age was around 60 on the boat (the Mali Luka) with a lovely bunch mainly from USA and Australia and NZ. Busy week as up early but a great way to explore the lovely islands. Water so clean and refreshing. All the towns well kept. Pebble beaches (not sand). We did Split to Dubrovnik route then had a couple of nights in hotel in Lapad (Dub) to relax. Thanks Sail Croatia for a memorable trip !

We have just completed cycling sail croatia week. A few recommendations for sail croatia to consider for upcoming trips, and for travellers who are considering this trip. If you are travelling as a couple you need to specify you want a double room. The food on the boat was very tasty however the orange juice in the morning could be greatly improved. They could also increase their variety of wines on board. Miranda our cycling leader was excellent and very supportive. Time spent in some of the villaages I felt was rushed, definitely wished we had a longer duration in Havar. If you enjoy an active holiday this is definitely one to consider as a way to see Croatia.

Enjoyed the biking and guides. Crew was great.Views were spectacular. The cabin left a lot to be desired. Terrible mattress, bathroom was a mess, couldn’t shower without wetting the whole room, AC was subpar.. Wonderful, beautiful scenery ! Marin & Johnny were the perfect pair and excellent guides delivering 5/5 stars! Marin's historical knowledge was impressive; he was a mine of information and great local recommendations, he really took care of everyone! Johnny gave us the best restaurant recommendations or tips of where to go. Some of the bike rides took us up very steep hills and windy roads close to the cliff edges and while the views were beautiful I'm scared of heights, but luckily Johnny was there to support and kindly encourage me down, he was lovely! Kerim our bartender was very attentive & our food was good! Our ship was immaculate but it was older so while we had an upper cabin our bed was positioned up against the wall so I had crawl over the bed to get to my side. It wasn't the end of the world but we felt like we were camping :) which is why I am giving this review 4 stars! I'd highly recommend this trip, all the islands we visited were amazing and we loved Croatia!

Fantastic, loved the island rides especially in quiet places. Amazing coastline and beautiful views. Great guides and staff. Things that need improvement . 1 needed softer mattress 2. A system to log guests on and off securely so no-one can get left behind. 3. Give all info before getting off to start riding to save confusion. 4. Do not rely on apps as not all can use mb phones when traveling & riding. 5. Self serve Tea and coffee should be available free to guests.6. Meals do not need to be so formal or take up so much time. 7. Bikes need bells for safety and small panier bags to carry items securely.

We enjoyed the bike rides, the sceneries were beautiful. The e-bikes worked very well. The group was a bit too large, a bit squeezed on the boat. The meals were excellent but we would have liked at time more buffet or picnic type of meal. We enjoyed a lot swimming from the boat, the Adriatic sea is so beautiful . Our guides, Marin and Martin, were excellent. They cared a lot for the security and were extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant peuple, I recommend them to all the groups.

Our guides were amazing. Crew brilliant. Costs such as port taxes and park fees were a bit of a surprise. Cabin was on the lower deck and was really damp even with the door left ajar. We were not allowed to open the portholes overnight whilst docked. Double bed was way too high to get in and out of comfortably.

It was great overall. Some of the things outside of the biking was that things like port taxes and park fees were not included in the costs. The cabins were also quite damp below deck and our bed you nearly had to take a run and jump to get into it as it was really high. Not great for an older couple.

Great! loved the cycling and the tour guides. Our days out on the bikes were absolutely great. Both Marin and Martin did everything they could to make the trip enjoyable. My concerns were with things that were in the Captains control: 1. Why was air conditioning not on every night? not on for both first and last night which is poor. 2. bedding was sub par at best, poor quality and could have used an extra pillow. 3. Food was not great. I feel an al a carte menu would have been better as this was eat what you get which really was not appealing to me for a trip with this price. Our daughter was with us, she eats vegetarian and her food was absolutely terrible. Boris, the chef, needs to do better! 4. on board bar was poorly stocked. We would have used this service if items were available but it was basically just one wine and draft beer.

We had a lovely time on our Sail Croatia Bike Cruise. I will recommend but with these suggestions. The food on our ship was not great. Edible but poorer quality than I expected. The crew tended to be quite surly and mostly smoked or were on their phones. Our guides were phenomenal and did a fantastic job. They really made the trip. The bikes (we all had e-bikes) were very good quality and easy to use. The scenery was fantastic and luckily we had a large (33 passengers) group but everyone was great and got along well. I would strongly suggest upgrading to premier plus or looking at a higher quality company if good food and a nice ship are important to you.

Great holiday, the staff were excellent and the ship was fantastic. There is room for improvement. More ventilation in the lower cabins, aircon wasn’t effective. The coffee was very bad and there could be more fruit at breakfast and some soap included would be helpful. Also if beach towels are not provided it would be good to know that before we left Australia. Apart from that it was a great part of our trip

I filled the quick review onboard but understood there would be a more thorough evaluation of our trip. The biggest concern I had was the food. It was not up to standard. You should hire qualified trained chefs. Thousand island salad dressing was over poured on all salads. White bread for the most part. Not alot of citrus fruit. Overcooked tuna at captains dinner and appetizer unappealing. The captain wore a sweatshirt at the captains dinner. You couldn’t order a glass of wine you needed to buy a bottle. .

I had a great time. Guides were outstanding (Josko and Lauren). I felt safe in their hands. Itinerary: I would have preferred more kilometers The bikes were basic and minimal. I expected better quality, especially the non E-bikes. The boat was fine. I did not need anything fancier. More than adequate The food was good but often overcooked. (The captain was a great pilot, he has no business interfering in the kitchen) Portions too big; buffet style may be better. I appreciated breakfast as I could serve myself and the variety was perfect. The portions at lunch were way too big. I dont like wasting food. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Consider other drinks at the bar (juice, lemonade…)

Boat crew were efficient. The two guides were knowledgable and helpful. Overall, the ride was fantastic with very good bikes and very amazing scenery.. HOWEVER, we did book and pay for a cabin with double bed. But instead got a single bed on one side and a bunk bed on the other side of the cabin which was dissapointing.

Although the entire experience was outstanding I do have a couple of points: 1.) As an experienced cyclist, I had no issues but I did see some areas of saftey that could be improved. There was confusion throughout the day as directions were, at times, incomplete and vague. 2.) Food was another issue as items at breakfast would run out and the main course lunches were mediocre. 3.) Coffee is always an issue for me and yours was the worst. (Sorry) 4.) I didn't understand why we couldn't pay our bar tab with a credit card. Many were short on cash and had to rush to an ATM. 5.) Whatsapp feature was great, would of been nice to get the days briefing in advance of actual briefing at 8:30 so we could follow along and have questions prepared. All in all our tour guides were friendly and well informed about the areas we visited and I would recommend this tour to friends The boat was immaculate and comfortable. Great way to see Croatia for the first time.

Emmanuel was old but clean and very middle of the road for overall amenities, a boat not a yacht; lunches were very good, breakfasts mediocre Cycling guides and routes were very good but too short ( advertise this as a leisurely cycling if e bikes being used) and the regular bycyles should not be allowed as we were constantly waiting for them to catch up. Also entrance fees to parks and historical sites should be included in the overall package. Similar to Viking make tipping a part of the trip package.

The boat was very old and really it did fall short of expectations. Light didn't work. No key for safe. Old and slippery tiles in shower. Old shower. It needs to be better. Communication between guides and passengers was minimal. Half the time we were never really sure of what was going on. Rides were spread out. You probably need 2 groups. One to do a longer ride, and one to do a shorter ride. We also needed to stop at a private bay here and there for a swim. We rode past so many secluded rocky beaches with crystal clear water, but never stopped

Great diversity of cycle routes and port stops. Guides were great! Boat crew also great. Meals lovely but would have preferred dinners rather than lunch as I wanted a swim, shower and nap after my cycle rather than having to sit for two hours in a stuffy fining room in the middle of the day. The bed was so hard that I longed for morning to come.

This trip aboard the Mali Luka was amazing. We are big time cruisers and usually sail with big ships like Princess. We've done one Viking cruise but this one was so amazing. There were only 28 total passengers and we all got along great; it's like they hand picked people that all had the same outlook and personality. The rides each day were to the most beautiful areas I've ever been to. The e bikes made even the steep uphill climbs easy. We were given options on some of the days to stop or to continue our rides (some even choose to not go on some at all). Our ride crew Miranda and Matilda were so great; always looking out for us and keeping us safe with perfect pacing. Sitting on the top deck while we cruised along was my favorite part. We choose the bottom deck cabin which was super small and tight. No complaints by anyone on any level about noise from other ships. The crew worked very hard (not super friendly but friendly enough). Captains dinner was nice; very nice guy.

I enjoyed the swim stops. My room was nice, although the last full day the tanks definitely needed to be changed, as I had a room below. It would have been nice to have the names on the back of the bikes. Most people came in groups, We did not come in a group, so, we had to keep asking people their names. The Josic was very professional. I was not sure what Calam's responsibilities. The bar was very expensive for the extremely short wine pour. It was discussed by most passengers on the boat. Lunch was heavy. Maybe better to have dinner? This would allow people to relax a bit after the ride. The last two rides were short. Often I was not quite sure where we were going to stop. It did not follow the brochure. Captain said we needed to stop in different places.

1) Omit overnight on day 7 of trip. End the trip after lunch on day 6. This eliminates unreasonably early check out on day 7 and also makes it easier for a guest to check in to their hotel in DBV without having to wait until 12:00 or 13:00 check in time. 2) Onshore excursion options need clear explanation in pretrip communication. Example: I was not told that a scenic bus tour and a walking tour of DBV was available, so I booked them in advance with Viator. If I had known I would have gone on the onshore excursion instead. 3) Include the use of one pannier on the bike. 4) Include written instructions for charging the bike battery and operating the ebike. 5) There were three outlets in the cabin. That is insufficient to charge two bike batteries plus two phones plus hearing aids, etc. A simple multi-plug adapter can fix this issue. 6) Guide must not make promises he doesn't keep. Example: A military tour was promised on one island (Vis?) but was never delivered.

Biking the beautiful islands. The landscapes and friendly passengers and crew. Mila and Mario couldn’t do enough for us. They were completely committed to our safety and enjoyment. Daily program was well organized. Bikes were in good condition and riding was great. Could have been longer on some days but dépendant on size of the island. Overall a very enjoyable trip.

Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful trip on our bike-boat trip in May 2025. The guides were very good and kept us well informed. The bikes were very good quality and easy to ride. My only criticism is that my wife and I slept in separate small beds in our cabin. We would’ve clearly preferred to be in a single bed together at night as we have been for 40 years. All in all, this was a very successful vacation for my wife and myself.

It was evident from the start the crew member had no experience and very little English. He didn't even know what vodka was. Apparently the fridge was down so we couldn't get ice or cold white wine. Beer was ok. He did not bring drinks during the meals and did not know how to clear dishes. Food was good but cold. Cabin was good but our toilet in ran the entire week although we had asked crew to fix it 4 times. We turned off the water to the tank between uses. We would have preferred to travel to our locations in the evening instead of waking up to engines starting at 5:30:or 6:00 am every day!

Beautiful scenery and lovely people. Ebiking was great and bikes were well maintained and worked well. H was very good at keeping us safe and organized. I think some instructions could have been useful on how to use them though. I have 2 e-bikes at home and they are all different. The only thing that would have made the trip better was to have a ‘get to know you’ event on the first night for guests. Also a few optional organized activities on the afternoons and evenings when we were in ports where islands had little to do. For the cabins a few hooks on the walls and bathroom would have been useful.

Once on board the very comfortable boat, we were well looked after by delightful guides, good chefs, bar staff and boat crew. Good quality e-bikes, excellent guiding around five beautiful Croatian islands, the crew having to adjust the itinerary due to the weather conditions. The other passengers were similar ages to us, loved cycling and the exploring of new places so there were plenty of common interests.

Loved the combination of seeing the islands by land and sea. The biking through the country side on each island was beautiful and so much fun, loved our e-bikes. We had amazing tour guides and boat crew! Unfortunately we had a couple of days of bad weather, but the crew and guides were quick to adjust our course and itinerary to avoid this as best they could and everything turned out great. The whole schedule felt very rushed. Once we reached each island we invariably had very little time to enjoy the destination of our cycle ride - which at times was quite arduous especially for those without e-bikes - before returning to the boat for lunch. The food provided was generally poor with limited fruit available at breakfast and no means of keeping the hot food hot for anyone who didn’t arrive at breakfast promptly at the start. The three course meal served at lunchtime with a hot main seemed totally inappropriate when a more relaxed cold buffet would have been preferred by most on board. Sometimes we were given no time to explore particular port as we had to cycle to the other side of the island to meet the boat in time for lunch and there were no impromptu swim stops off the boat as shown in your videos. On the whole I did really enjoy the week - the crew and guides were excellent although a little more flexibility from the captain would have been appreciated.

The Croatian islands are so beautiful to see when biking. The EOS ship was not as nice as other pictures on the website. The staff were all pleasant. Vegetarian options were limited. Despite rain, the staff worked very hard to reroute us and gave us a wonderful experience.

The trip exceeded my expectations in some respects - we had the most wonderful crew who went out of their way to navigate around bad weather to ensure we could continue to cycle. They went beyond their call of duty. The aspects I believe could have been better in particular, is the food. The offering is tremendous in quantity but lacks sophistication and creativity. I was looking forward to having a Mediterranean experience but if fell short. Why serve mostly apples and bananas when figs and grapes were in season and readily available. The coffee machine was not working, and no cappuccinos was on offer but rather just brewed coffee. I trust that effort in this area could go a long way to improve the overall experience. All in all, it was an enjoyable trip in a wonderful country with exquisite crew members.

The Guides were great. friendly, helpful, knowledgable. The islands were stunning. However, the boat was only standard. The food was quite basic. The cabin was very cramped, the bathroom smelled bad and the bed sheets were a problem. Two single sheets on a double bed! We were in a tangle all night. A double sheet or duvet would have been much better.

Anton and Karla our cruise / bike leaders did well with the large group of cyclists that were on-board the Princez Diana. Delaying a couple of rides due to weather and adding an additional ride for the island that we missed due to the weather. However, some of the riders did not like the fact that the additional 20km added for this additional ride were not given the option of missing it as it was stated before the start of the ride the group was told the additional ride would be optional. The kitchen staff were outstanding with excellent choices made for B / L and Dinners that we were given on the boat. I would've appreciated coffee included with lunch or dinner though not just breakfast. As for the room (Cabin #5) it was adequate as we did not have a working safe - staff said someone would fix it but that was never done. The venting in the bathroom was not good and the annoying relay pump sound was pretty bad when anyone was using water on the boat. I would recommend the cruise.

The so called premier ship was nothing like, much smaller than expected, the cabins were small and several needed attention. However the Captain and crew were very good at their job with boat and passenger safety spot on. They were all very friendly and helpful, with the male crew having to man handle over 30 bikes on and off the boat at every port, well done them. The cycle tours were rather disappointing as there were over 30 cyclist of varying ability, the front runners would be way ahead leaving the slower ones way behind. Not enough stops to enjoy the wonderful scenery and a chance for photos, ☹️ 25.00€, in cash, per person to enter the Mljet National Park, bit steep to cycle around the lakes, no stops to enjoy! Cycle guides would stop and give a little talk about the history of which ever island we were on. The food on the boat was OK but far too much at lunch time, so lots of waste, shame. The weather was not the best but that is not a fault! ⛈️ It was an experience for sure!

We had a great time, all 28 people from all over the world, got on fantastically well. The bikes were of a good quality and everyone managed to get on really well with the e-bike I would have liked some longer rides, the longest ride was only about 50 kms, I would have liked to do this every day. The sail Croatia jersey, should be free to all and a day set aside when everyone wears it. I was the only person that bought a jersey and it certainly was not worth the £50 paid. We only swam off the boat twice and this was something we were looking forward to, This trip is not cheap and I realise we had one of the better boats, but with payment of food when off the boat and more expensive drinks when on the boat, our limit of spending was soon exceeded, to be then expected to pay for tips and what was an expensive payment was above what we could afford. The crew should not have to rely on tips and should be covered on the initial spend. I would be happy to talk more if requested.

Overall we had a great experience and highly recommend! A few suggestions/tips: - We realize that it’s challenging to prepare food on a boat and to meet different preferences. We would suggest having at least some lunch buffets, where people could choose (e.g., salads, sandwiches) instead of 3-course meals. A buffet would be quicker and enable people to sit on the desk rather than the often very hot and stuffy dining room. - The food was often very heavy (fried meats, limited vegetables/salads). If guests were warned about this, they could request vegetarian or other accommodations. - We were not allowed to bring food on board so snacks should be available (free or not). There was fruit but nothing else and often we were unable to leave the boat. We were often quite hungry after the ride but had to wait to eat. - It would be helpful if the trip leader provided information about the towns further in advance than the afternoon that we arrived so there would be enough time to plan.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Excellent exercise to work off the meals! Our guides were super, well organized, and very hospitable. Met people from all over the world. Comfortable ship, Well organized itinerary. Enjoyed the swimming, particularly on hot August days! One thing to note is that it was not clear on the website nor from the saleswoman with whom we corresponded if the "total ascent/descent" for a day is combined ascent & descent or the amount one ascends and additionally descends. It is the amount one ascends and then descends as well. For example if a day's total ascend/descend is 640 meters (as ours was listed on Day 3), that means you will climb a total of 640m and then descend a total of 640m.

Booking system, we booked 6 mths in advanced, requested an above cabin but was told none available, several passengers got above cabin and only booked weeks in advance. Also check the actual names on the booking, we were husband and wife, they thought 2 females so got single beds! Food - very basic, military/camp style. Lots of hearty foods for colder weather, minimal salads or fresh foods, it was summer! It doesn't take much to be creative and add some flare to the meals - fresh herbs, chopped fresh fruit not tinned fruit salad!!!!! Cocktails - needs attention to detail - use proper cocktail glasses, get the fruit and decorations, make it an experience we want to repeat. Also very costly, if cheaper with flare more would have been bought. Option for more group activities, especially in the evenings. Offer group dinner on the last night. I'm sure there are plenty of restaurants in Split that would welcome a group of 30+ or you have a business relationship with that could offer this.

Overall I was quite satisfied with our boat, including our cabin. The crew members were friendly and helpful as were the leaders of the cycling trips. who did an amazing job, both on land and on sea. Areas where I would like to see improvement include having a Keurg in the dining area where it would be possible to get a cup of coffee earlier than a half hour before breakfast. Provide the cooked breakfast food hot. Lighter entrees with local seasonings would improve lunch entrees. A glass of wine served with the Captain's Dinner would be appropriate. Name tags for all should be provided and worn at least early in the trip. Include the day, Monday, Tuesday, etc., along with the name of the Island and towns where there will be stops. I hope my suggestions are helpful.

Meals and cycling should receive separate ratings. Our biking experience was better than we could have anticipated. Milah was professional and delightful. Andre was a great host and server; however, meal times degraded the experience for us. Breakfasts were never served hot, and lunches often consisted of lots of heavy noodles with heavy cream sauce and tenderized meat. Portions were always large, but the food was generally unappealing. We'd read reviews about gourmet fare on this experience and found nearly universally unappealing meals. The Captain's meal demonstrated the cook's capacity to make fine food, but it had been hiding until then. I would heartily recommend Sail Croatia for the challenging cycling experience, but would warn potential participants that meal time may more closely resemble a teenager's summer camp experience than an upscale adult experience.

Love the exploration of islands and cycling off a boat . The crew and tour guides Marija and Mila were wonderful as was Andre, the server. They need a battery microphone so guests can hear as the engine was constantly running and it was so difficult to hear. Suggestion : 3 dinner meals and 3 lunch meals , alternate so we would not always be dependent on getting back for lunch instead eat at swim areas on beach without the rush and very early morning breakfasts . Suggest lighter lunches , salads fruit fish …and fresh bread in the mornings with Greek yogurt . Food was very good but too filling . Less food, higher standard . Soups in the heat ? Big salads more appreciated . Suggest eggs be cooked while people sit instead of cold overcooked eggs Also a better way to connect with guests we need name tags… very awkward trying to remember people’s names .

We fully enjoyed our experience with Sail Croatia. The Princeza Diana is a beautiful, spacious ship and the staff were fantastic. Our tour guides Ivica and Tonka kept us very well informed. They were fully engaged with the guests ensuring everyone had a fabulous experience. We were glad we opted for e-bikes. It allowed us to ride easy and soak up the incredible scenery. Enjoyed the trip and the other passengers with similar interests. We were all generally the same age group with extensive travel experience. It was a great group of people I rated it 3-1/2 out of 5 because having to keep 34 cyclists together was VERY time consuming. We ended up stopping and waiting often on busy roads or uphills.. which made it difficult for some to start again. . I feel you should break the groups to 16 per. One group slower and one faster. We had traditional cyclist in the group (kudos to them, as there were some steep sections) but it had us waiting often. one time more than 45 minutes.. I feel we could have seen more and done a lot more cycling if it was split out. I think most of the participants felt that way.. I would do another trip based on my experience. If all the cyclists were on e-bikes. The food was delicious and plentiful and the cooks, waiters, seaman and staff were amazing.

We decided to enjoy the bike/sail option from Split to Dubrovnik. Every portion of the trip found beautiful scenery. Our guides and the boat crew were excellent, and were quick to make adjustments as rough sea weather rolled in one day. Even though we do a lot of biking at home, we were very thankful to have gone with the e-bike bike option for this trip. We were disappointed the hot tub on our boat was not available. Having that as an option after biking or swimming would have been nice. The crew did a great job of accommodating individual food requirements. Thanks for a very nice week!

The cruise is well planned with suitable amount of sight, cycling and sailing. It was of course a pity that due to the weather conditions we couldn’t go to all planned destinations, but all in all the islands and the coastline are incredibly beautiful and we can’t be sorry about the changes made. Food is very good and there is plenty of it! Fresh drinking water is served all the time and the drinks were reasonably priced as well. The cabins are small, but adequate for a week. The best part was the people we traveled with <3. We had the great time and experience and could recommend this to anyone willing to cycle and see more quiet places of Adriatic islands.

The trip was good! The food was average! Would have liked to gone on longer bike rides on all seven islands. The boat did not provide blankets for bedding. The Itinerary changed sometimes, just needed to be informed sooner. The two guides were excellent, provided a safe and enjoyable experience. I would like the tip to be included in the price of the trip, it becomes awkward to find a medium price. The bikes were good but longer rides would have been great! We enjoyed our cycle-sail experience on Colombo, it was an interesting cruise with relatively easy cycling on e-bikes. Nothing too arduous but a feeling of tiredness at the end of most days. The crew worked hard and the captain keeps a tidy, organised ship. We loved the guide’s knowledge - Marin and Mila had so much Croatian history to share, it was awesome. Tips for improvement: many of the crew smoked which wasn’t an issue until early mornings when the cigarette smoke wafted into our cabin and woke us up (sometimes as early as 5:30am)! The cabins could do with some maintenance on Colombo - leaking showers, freezing cold AC that blow’s directly on the beds.

The main feature of enjoying a venture like this one is the efficiency of the staff. They were first rate. From the crew, kitchen and food prep. ladies, waiters and guides they always went above and beyond. Four stars instead of five is due to some maintenance around the boat. My understanding is that the issues are dealt with in the off season. (bathrooms-floors were always wet. Portholes could not be opened.). It wasn't a game changer. We would go back.

Fabulous guides and crew, the itinerary was so diverse with plenty of stops for drinks, swims, and sightseeing of course. The food was sensational and way above expectations. I didn’t give 5 stars as the rooms could do with a bit of a smarten up. The bedding was a bit musty and need new mattresses. A bit of a negative in the last night was payments had to be made between 6 and 8pm. Many of us had planned to go out for a farewell dinner together but with the distance to old town from the boat meant this was not possible. We came back early to pay. We should have been able to fix up bill while we were all on the boat before docking.

The locations visited were beautiful and fascinating. Our guides (Marija and Mila) provided an excellent experience given the challenges of ability/illness across our group. I particularly valued their passion for Croatia and what is has to offer and their insights into their history. Cabins were clean and very comfortable and general boat amenities were excellent. The ebikes could be improved - they worked well for some, I found them cumbersome and the geometry made them uncomfortable but they got us where we needed to go. Food excellent. Ivan was great. Nothing was too much. Had some great chats with The Captain - Ante Feedback- Maybe swap some lunches out for dinners so we could spend some more time in port. At times felt rushed to get back for lunch. More swimming options. Not super happy with the way the bar tab was provided. Just given a $amount. No details of purchases during the cruise. Wanted an invoice so we could check it. Would suggest that this be an e-bike only tour.

Our guides Nina and Marin were so organised and good at organising us. We were well informed of the next day's planned activities and free time outside of the bike ride. We loved the bikes and the rides. Our only suggestion is that all E bikes ride together or all hybrid bikes ride together but there is a lot of time wasted waiting for the hybrid bikes unfortunately. We had 28 E bike riders and 4 hybrid riders. The boat, the people, the experience will stay with us for a lifetime. Thanks

The actual tour itinerary was very good, although the 30km days need to be longer. The guides communications skills need to be improved and the rooms are EXTREMELY basic. Food was filling and had a home cooked flair to it. We were on a premier boat and really would have liked something with better rooms. Boat staff were excellent.

The meals on the ship were ok, but not great. Certainly, there was plenty of food. Our cabin was not great. It was always damp even with the A/C running. Towels never dried out and the bed always felt clammy.

Attentiveness of the entire crew and guides. Enjoyrd the planned stops, options to explore solo or with our cycling guide Mila. Food prepared by the chef was top notch and covered a wide range of mediterranian fare. The cabin my gf and i had was much bigger than expected and very comfortable. I do wish the rides had been a little longer but as discussed with our guides, not all groups are avid cyclists. Other than that the routes were pleasant. Coming from the states, getting used to a heavy smoking culuture did detract a bit.

My second year in a row with sail Croatia bike tour. I would have given them a 5/5 if the food was better. After being on the Mali Alta last year and having amazing food. Food on Colombo was mediocre. Fried fish to Dry to eat. Fried pork to dry to eat. Weird starters every day at lunch. Food should be consistent across all boats offering same experience. Tour guides were amazing. Crew on boat super nice. Wish they would do more miles each day and offer a self guided tour. Will definitely do again.

The trip was great, we had a very good time. The cycling hosts were good and informative. Crew were ok but not so customer friendly. Lunch was generally good but breakfast became sparse and always only luke warm at best, from the middle of the week only fruit and specialist teas were available as run out of 'normal' breakfast tea. rooms were adequate but toilet smells were constant plus could not understand why single people were given a double room+single bed to share when married couples had single beds?

The trip was very well organized - the staff very accommodating - Mario the waiter was exceptional and our Chef Antonia prepared amazing meals every day-the tour guides did an excellent job. The whole team made the experience wonderful. Each island offered a unique experience. Many opportunities to swim off and on the boat. I would have given 5 stars but did not like mixing cyclists that were not on e-bikes with our group. We spent a great deal of time waiting in the very hot sun for the other cyclists to catch up from the hill climbs. Would suggest they charge an extra fee for those cyclists so they could have a separate guide or make e-bikes compulsory - every island has many hills to climb. I will return again with the rest of my family. Also finding the boat at port was very difficult and stressful .The directions were embedded in an email. A separate email with that information only would have been very helpful. Overall I would recommend this company. Remember to pack water shoes!

It has been nearly a year since our Croatia trip and if you’re considering, absolutely do it! This is a small company that has a homey vibe with a small close knit staff. Some parts “rustic” but the overall value of the experience was amazing. My husband and I opted for the e-bikes and loved the option to be on autopilot while climbing hills and ascending. We had an amazing group of travelers on our boat (somehow children did become part of our trip, age 10 and 12? which felt a little unsafe with the bikes and climbs). Breakfasts were a great spread of veggies, poached eggs, variety of breads, scones, small pastries, coffee, juices, spreads, etc. Lunches were simple and straightforward (lettuce salad, soup, etc) and dinners were also straight forward and simple. Seemed healthy to a degree and most all dinners came with some dessert. Folks who were veg didn’t get a lot of food choice. Boat was a bit outdated but comfy/clean. If you’re considering just do it! So much fun!

We really enjoyed the cycling routes and our guides Marin and Andro. The ships crew were nice and friendly, the food was fairly good. However we stayed in a lower cabin and it had a very bad smell coming from the bathroom. It would come and go but at times it was terrible. I believe most people would not put up with it and complain heavily. The ship was full so we thought there is no other room to go to so why bother complaining. This problem needs to be addressed because we probably wouldn’t book another trip on this ship again. Other passengers we talked to said how they had black mold in their bathrooms which is even worse. It’s unfortunate because it did put a damper on our trip.

Our guides and the crew were just tip-top. We had some challenging weather, and there were some schedule changes that needed to be addressed, but they could always find the silver lining. Our room was on the main deck, and while we don’t expect beds, etc to be like home, we could never get all the moisture out of linens, and always felt as if we were sleeping in the damp. Outside of that, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

I would not have paid extra for top deck premium cabin. Ours was at the stern and when stacked alongside other boats the noise until 4am from those boats gave sleepless nights on 3 out of 7 nights (even using earplugs).

The tour guides Ivan and Lola and the captain and crew aboard Milena were fab. Sailing from Split to Dubrovnik via different islands meant we got to see a lot of Croatia. Our guides knowledge was great. We had e-bikes and for us this meant that each cycle ride was really pleasant (there were some really steep climbs).! We had some meals on board and others out meaning we could explore ourselves. The cabins were a little dated. Our fellow passengers were so friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the holiday

Crew and guides great, so were fellow travellers. No complaints about the people. But we had dreadful weather for a few days, and while that was no one’s fault - Maybe more consideration could go into what to do in these circumstances. Eg drying clothes, where to dock (close to towns -where possible) and see if anything could be organised to fill the time. We were lucky that some days were ok- but if not - we would just have been sitting staring at each other!! Just something to consider.

Excellent hostess, Nina. Her knowledge and attention were exemplary. Our e-bikes were good and the biking routes very interesting. I would have liked the opportunity to stop and take photos a bit more but the size of our group may have prohibited this. Accommodations and food on ship we very good. Enjoyed our sailings as well.

Well planned, well run trip. The boat, Kleopatra, is excellent. Our room was super, good size, airy and clean. The public areas, restaurant, and sun deck are excellent. The cycling was well organised, and a good mix of hard climbs, and lovely roads and tracks. In our group we had 10 e-bikes and 6 standard. The guiding was exactly right...we were told what we would be doing and when. Don't expect to cycle away from the group. All told a great trip.

The staff were ultra professional and friendly. The itineraries were well planned and executed. Nina and Vania were very experienced in looking after their guests and put their safety and well-being foremost during the cycling outings. On the ship Duje and Stefan were most attentive and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

Guides and staff were great (Mila,Surgen,Lana, and cook). Great bike rides with nice bikes and recommended sights and restaurants. Food was good and plentiful. Room was adequate but full double top sheets would be nice instead of two singles. Aphrodita boat needed some TLC with torn deck carpets and some missing deck trims. If there was seating on the top deck it might get used. Overall a great trip and a wonderful way to see the Croatian islands.

Depart on other day than Saturday. ALL boats seem to follow the same schedule so each port has a mass of boats tied up to one another and many of them are party boats with too much noise late into the evening or early morning. Sadly, Croatia is a victim of it’s success and beauty and is too crowded for us.

We just finished our cruise on the Afrodita. The itinerary and guide team Mila and Srdan were fantastic. They went above and beyond to ensure we were safe and happy. The boat crew were good but the boat was tired. I would highly recommend the cruise.

We were very pleased with this sail/cycle cruise. The boat was great, a lot of details had been addressed, and the crew was always on hand to help out. We only wish we could have cycled longer distances, or have the option to cycle more. There were 29 people in our group, and only two guides. Some people were on classic bicycles, so there was a lot of waiting around for the people on classic bikes to make it up the hills. It would be better to separate such a large group in levels of ability, speed, or bicycle type, with more guides at hand. More stops along the way to visit would also have been better. But all in all, it was a great experience, and I would whole-heartedly recommend it.

Nina and Marin and Ivan the captain we’re fantastic. The. Cabins were clean and there was space for luggage. As with any small ship bathroom space is limited. We were on the upper deck of rooms and they were great. We lucked out with only 27 guests who all got along really well and we have developed a number of great memories and new friends.

We enjoyed the cruise and cycling although we were not b ooked on this specific tour, but lots of other things like we had to pay for park entrance, pay more for port taxes as specified. would have expected a more luxiurious cruise for the money we paid. Two guides were promised as we were not cyclist. You only allowed one. Unfotunately we had to change route, but that was due to weather so not really a problem.

What luck to be in a small group for the week. With just 11 of us it felt very exclusive with plenty of room on board. Sail Croatia communication and organisation was excellent The scenery will stay in my memory for ever and I have fallen in love with Croatia. Our guide loved sharing his knowledge of everything Croatian at every opportunity. The rides were well planned and interesting but could have been longer. e.g. more time on Mljet to enjoy the national park. The food on board was amazing - freshly cooked every day and always different. Would have liked a different e-bike, more hybrid style than shopper but very impressed with their performance. Wish I had chosen an upper cabin - below deck was noisy from engine and kitchen and often dark when moored up due to other ships alongside or fender in the way. Free tea and coffee and better towels would be good. However these are niggles and overall it was one of the best holidays ever.

All staffs on the boat were extremely professional and diligent. Most meals were good. I wish the cabin is bigger with more frequent cleaning and replacing towels. The bike tours were well leaded with scenic routs. Love the bike tours and the small dose culture talks by Evan and Andrea!👍👍

Really enjoyed my week on Colombo. Staff. couldn’t have been more helpful, ship was well provisioned, itinerary (though nothing like that described on the website) was interesting and varied. Croatia is a great destination and we were fortunate to enjoy it in good company and under sunny skies.

M/S Milena is not up to standard as a Premier ship. Several cabins need repairing and maintenance. Malfunctioning toilets and plumbing.in many cabins. Service from some staff members could be better. But very enjoyable trip. Very pleasant tour leader.

The Itinerary and crew and setting, cycles routes were all great, However the documents and listings state that there is a port hole that can be opened in port in the below deck cabins. There is a port hole that was bolted shut which the crew flatly refused to open. In our cabin 18 on the Deluxe Milena the widow was cracked and there was no daylight either as the metal cover was bolted in place. We were told that they had been sealed shut for the last 5 years, There is a clear case for a claim of misrepresentation in the brochure and website advertising. The lighting only green tinge very dim old-tech LED lights that made the cabin look like a set from a horror movie. The below deck cabins were so damp and smelly and we took to taking our mattresses and blankets up to the top deck to dry out. Other passengers in the steerage class also complained about the smell and the damp. I have made a YouTube video about this problem that I will upload. time out of the cabin was great.,

I enjoyed the challenge of the cycles, but feel that maybe not enough advice given prior to the event of the level of challenge . Leaders were very helpful and jelled the group together to make a very pleasurable trip.

We were so lucky with the group that came on the tour with us. We had companions from all over the world and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. Daniel and Hervoyr were excellent cycle tour leaders. The crew o the ship were mostly excellent and the chef did a brilliant job at cooking for us.

Firstly the itinerary was great with a lovely mix of island stops. Or two guides Julia and Dora were friendly enthusiastic and highly professional. Julia in particular was very hard working, dedicated to ensuring we were looked after and answered all questions with knowledgeable answers. Her daily and sometimes twice daily briefings were informative and interesting. The cycling was great but for some too challenging. I’m an experienced cyclist and fit but I struggled up some of the climbs so it would be helpful to make sure weaker riders were made aware of this. The boat was very comfortable and well equipped. My only slight criticism was the attitude of the captain, surly and uncommunicative when compared with the guides and the rest of the crew. Food was very good on board.

My husband and I joined the Cycle cruise from Split to Dubrovnik on the Milena boat (Premier Ship). We stayed in a below deck cabin - which was OK, however I will choose the above deck next time as it would be nice walking onto the deck from your room. Everything was clean and neat. The food was average and really cannot complain. The cycling was tough and would suggest that everyone in the group take either an e-bike OR normal bike, not mixed - as everyone had a different level of fitness which the guys on e-bikes ended up waiting for the rest which were time consuming to some. I enjoyed the cycling and it is definitely the best way of seeing the islands. The crew were all very friendly and helpful and our cycling guides - Ivanna and Sergio were great. They took precaution where necessary and were very knowledgeable on the routes and tourist attractions/ history of Croatia. Thank you for a great experience!

Thank you for the week cycling and cruising through the islands of the Dalmatian coast. The boat, crew and food were all great, as was the itinerary. The bicycles were also good, but there was a big divide between those with electric bikes and those without. If you didn't have an e bike you were left behind on the hills which kept the e bikers waiting, not a good feeling. Might be good to consider everyone having e bikes to keep the harmony of the voyage intact.

Captain and crew were great. Could do with more support on ride as it got very hot and the group was to big ..some people were holding up the group as it was to hot for them and needed transportation. The guide he was very good and very helpful and funny... he could do with more help... After that ride 11 E bikes were ordered... I also feel the billing at the end for bar extra could be done better at the end of each day so people could see what they are spending ...so not to put a dampener at the end of the week ...

Good: food was good and enough. Places visited were fantastic. Some places very crowded. Friendly staff. Boat clean and common areas cleaned all the time. Had great rides. Not so good: We were asked to pay extra for air conditioning (really?!) This left a bitter taste even after a few days the captain agreed to offer it. The e-bikes not conducive for longer rides (20’ rims not good). Will recommend Sail Croatia.

What a fabulous way to get to know a country! The tracks are not super hard (except for 2) and the views are unbelievable. The crew at Tuna was very attentive and friendly. The food, well... Marko our young Chef was very talented and had amazingly tasty food, kudos to him! I only wish we had additional/optional activities such as some walking tours, olive oil tasting, flying fox, just to mention a few. I thank very much the crew for their service.

The staff were amazing though we got the impression their hands were tied somewhat and feel dinner on a few days would have been better than lunch and then we could have had a bit more freedom as it was a really mixed ability group. Our bike ride leader was a delight and with a few tweaks the holiday would have been perfect. The staff were so good, bar, deck, captain and cook, our only thing was not being able to access coffee as we woke, as we had to wait till 8, very annoying as the staff had their coffee. The BBQ would have been better as part of the deal, omitting lunch but on the whole it was a really good holiday thanks to staff who get paid a pittance!!!!

The boat crew, Steph, and Dimitri were great. Providing information about the local area and the cycle routes. Itinerary was adapted to meet needs of the group, and weather. Although this meant routes were different to those advertised. Lunch was served on board the boat each day, therefore dinner was bought in the local villages. Bring your tea bags as access to T&C limited.

The cycling for us enthusiasts was incredible. Lovely flat easy routes and then a choice to do some hectic hills with awesome views every day. The bikes were very comfortable with great gear ratios. I would take my cleat shoes and pedals next time to be fitted to the bike. The islands were lovely and the water amazingly warm. Couldn't believe how clear the Adriatic is! Boat was clean and food good and cabins very comfortable. Expect noise when you dock in the harbours.

We sailed & cycled with friends aboard the Milena on the Split Southern route. The accommodations surpassed our expectations in size and amenities. The tour guides were accommodating to the varied needs of our cycle group making our overall experience during our week of Island hopping pleasurable. You cannot beat the price point for this excursion as the food served aboard the ship was good, the equipment rental adequate and the service on board obliging. We plan to try the Northern Cycle & Sail next. I recommend E-Bikes!

We were in excellent friendly company, boat and cabin exceeded expectations. We had a fab chef who amazed us by preparing lovely 3 course meals in the tiniest galley - when she wasn’t cooking in it she was cleaning it ! Dino, our barman/host/new friend was amazing - such a genuine, welcoming guy whose kindness humbled us. He represents Sail Croatia at its best Our cycling routes were a lot tougher than envisaged and we would have liked more options (ie easier) but this would have needed more guides. Turned into more of a challenge than a holiday as the fitter cyclists raced ahead and slower ones in the group were continually on catch up which meant many gaps and not much group riding All in all a great experience we will not forget, we were 31 strangers who became 31 friends - amazing !! Would recommend if you are a hill loving cyclist :)

Overall a very enjoyable week, the cycling was very enjoyable with good scenery and roads. Food on the boat was of a good standard. Our two guides Ana and Maya were excellent and worked well as a team. The cabin on the boat was very noisy when the boat was moving and the bed mattress was very uncomfortable, but this did not stop us having an enjoyable week.

My wife and I together with 2 friends had a great week aboard the Magellan. The accommodation was comfortable, the food more than adequate and the staff extremely obliging. We would willingly repeat the trip but would need to ascertain the level of cycling required. Although having indicated on the questionaire we would opt for the leisurely ride option , the rides on most days were challenging to say the least. As there was only one group the options were join in or sit it out. In retrospect a little more leisure time to enjoy the marvellous surroundings would have been preferable. All in all however a great experience in a beautiful part of the world combined with the opportunity to meet wonderful folk from around the globe.

Well put together cruise through the fabulous and picturesque Croatian coast and islands. Boat was very comfortable - even below deck rooms with air-conditioning were fine. Anna and Miranda were lovely, enthusiastic and inclusive guides. Good mix of cycling and cruising. Unfortunately a couple of days weather affected. Only downside was the food- acceptable - but less quantity and more quality and variety would have been better.

We had a fun trip in Croatia, the cycling terrain is fantastic! Great roads and routes with very little traffic. Challenging ascents and beautiful views everywhere. The guides were knowledgeable and did a wonderful job of keeping the group happy. Harbors were a bit noisy with the party boats, but the captain and crew worked hard to get us in the quietest possible berths. Food was good and the villages were old and authentic. Unique and fun trip!

Active - cycling around beautiful Croatian islands, a brilliant way to see and explore a variety of destinations in a week. Our first time in Croatia and we loved it. The guides were great & informative & endlessly patient as for some customers the process to getting organised for the ride resembled herding cats. Food, not gourmet but tasty and abundant. The down side was the accommodation, we were not expecting or wanting "boutique" hotel but this was "camping" on a boat. Tiny sweat box! Air con unit on the wall but ship was apparently " non a/c" so not allowed to be activated. Some ports VERY noisy and it would have been perfect to escape to cool cabin & shut the door but this was not an option in the heat, so sleep was sorely lacking for whole trip. Many complaints but it seemed the no A/C was a HQ decision which could not be reversed, very short sighted as was fundamental to achieving perfection. Could have done with a towel change & a quick service of the cabin mid-week.

An amazing experience cycling around some of Croatia's beautiful islands. We were part of a large group (35) and whilst some of the rides were very challenging our guides, Miranda and Anna, did an absolutely fabulous job of making sure that the whole group was looked after and enjoyed themselves, no matter what their individual fitness levels.
