Missing towel bars or hooks to dry swimwear in rooms. Consider reducing swimming frequency for additional dock time at additional locations such as Havar & Split. All staff were very helpful, considerate and friendly!! Beautiful Ship!!!

My husband and I loved the yacht and visiting the different locations along the coast. Every location was a little bit different, but all were beautiful. The common areas of the boat were never crowded and the daily swim stops were great. The cabin was spacious enough and remarkably quiet (lower deck). Our representative, Vicko, was so informative and humorous with his daily breifings of our itinerary, some history, and cultural tips. The wait staff/bartenders were so helpful and attentive. While generally, the food was good, I was a bit disappointed in their "accommodation" for our dietary needs. I told the booking agent before we booked about our dietary needs and she assured me it would be no problem. We verified this again shortly before the trip. We felt like our request was not fully conveyed to the chef and people supplying provisions on the boat, so it seemed like our alternative meals were kind of afterthoughts. The food did not measure up to the price of the trip.

This was a beautiful cruise with wonderful swim stops and interesting ports every day. The breakfasts and lunches were very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the boat was kept very clean. There is not a lot of storage in the cabin, given the underbed area is taken up with life jackets. But after a day we had our storage needs figured out. They supply only basic bath amenities so bring your own, including washcloths. The shower was very weak and marginally warm a couple of days, other days it was cool. There were don't enough lines or hooks to hang wet swimwear to dry. The boat is not metal so bringing magnetic hooks doesn't help. This is only one of the very few ways to get to these small island ports. It's well worth the minor foibles on the boat.

The holiday was lovely. I really liked the Esperanza boat, very warm and welcoming with friendly staff. The swim every morning was a highlight, the top deck for sunbathing and visiting the different islands each day. We meet a bunch of great people whom we got on really well with which added to the overall experience. The food was mainly good, but thought the tipping expectation was extreme.

It was very noisy and felt claustrophobic. It was disappointing we could not eat outside. Breakfast was okay, but there was limited choice and the food quality not good. Often the fruit ran out. Coffee not good either. Excursions were terrific with a wide choice. The gratuity advice was incredible. 600 euros per cabin ! Nearly everyone was astonished that we were expected to give that much.

Amazing. Loved all the ports we visited. The ship was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much bother. The food was good. About what l expected for what we paid. A couple of things. Food was good. Always fresh but l thought at lunch they should have had another option on the set menu. A few people don’t eat seafood but there was no other option. You would only get different menu if you had an allergy.. TVs in room don’t work. ? Why are they there? Overall l enjoyed the cruises. I would recommend Sail Croatian friends and family.

Was a great time on the Queen Jelena -- Vedrun our tour manager was lovely and super informative. Ship was elegant and rooms were a good size, Food was overall very good onboard. A great way to relax and see Croatia without the trouble of moving hotels. Would be good if the ship left the coffee machine on all day. It was very fair, the weather was excellent and the staff on the ship were very good. Friendly, helpful and provide excellent service. The food on board were excellent and both the chef and his helper did an exception job. Considering with a small kitchen and serve 29 people daily. Your manager did a excellent job. The biggest issues is the itinerary. Way too much idle time. I am a veteran of river cruises and this is certainly no comparison to those programs. May I suggest that perhaps add some more activities to each island that we visited. Alternate lunch and dinner on board. On the final stop, Dubrovnik, sail pass with the view of the old town must be added. For the life of me, I can't believe we didn't do it. Instead we had a swim just outside for an hour just to wait for docking, is the fuel that expensive?

Our holiday was very relaxing. Dino was 5 stars and so were the rest of the crew. Great way to see the islands. The only reason we rated 4stars instead of 5 is because we would have preferred not to be served a full 3 course meal at lunch. A buffet would have been better. Save the big meal for when we were in the towns. As it was we ate two dinner type meals a day until we decided to just not eat lunch on the ship.

Katerina is owned and crewed by the family. This is a 5 star rating. Ship is spotless and crew are the best. Owner and crew (mostly family and cousins) are so attentive to every detail. Meals: adequate and enjoyable but not outstanding. Captains' dinner was very good. Activities: not memorable. Walking tour in Dubrovnik was boring. Ship provided dinner was not impressive. Should have stayed in port and gone to local restaurant Ioana our tour director was 5 stars' She had to deal with a lot of shifting itinerary and was a truly shing star for the passengers. Overall was a nice experience. Met a lot of good people and that was a big plus; Croatia is very expensive on the street Plan to spend some BIG $$ in local establishments. We sailed on the Queen Jelena (Split North itinerary). Beautiful boat, really good crew. The food onboard was just OK, often just warm rather than hot. A 3 course lunch is not what most people have day to day at home and the thoughts from fellow passengers were thst this was a bit rigid and maybe a buffet style lighter lunch would be better as it felt you had breakfast and a couple of hours later a large lunch making you lethargic. Trips were ok, village dinner was good, buggy trip was good but not best value. More time needed in Dubrovnik as it beautiful, I would skip the walking tour (pointless) and enjoy more time exploring yourself. All stops on this itinerary were beautiful. One last point; the daily briefing should be carried out using the TV in the saloon as shown on the website content so you can actually get a visual idea of your day ahead. The WhatsApp group is useful when it's set up. Overall a good experience, 7.5/ 10

We enjoyed the crew and getting to know the passengers. . The food was inconsistent, not always stellar . Much of it dry and cold, the coffee was instant, and we had to pay extra for real coffee. The islands themselves very scenic, the ship was clean, and the crew were amazing. We would do a smaller cruise but upgrade to a fancier ship with better food. Otherwise, great memories were made.

First of all the added costs. Quite a few of the added activities were charged. The prices when converted to Australian dollars were quite expensive. Recommended tipping at the end was very high and this was noted by other passengers as well. We were looking at around AU$700 for the service. Considering how much we paid for the cruise wevconsidered it unreasonable to expect extra charges like this on top. Meals. Breakfasts were very nice. However, some of the lunches were variable in quality. Generally, the entree and deserts were fine but some of the main courses were not to liking. Captains dinner was disappointing. The Entertainment was noisy: not allowing any kind of conversation between the passengers. As an older couple, we found the loud music and tactic singing and dancing to be a bit disconcerting. Nikos and Ivanka were both friendly and always helpful. 5 stars to both of them. Also, the cabin was comfortable and clean and about was beautifully presented.

We were on the Esperanza which is an excellent facility. The food and service were outstanding. I think every port stop should include a walking tour. I think it would be good to have the boat docked while we are at lunch so you could walk off immediately after lunch. Our cruise director Mia worked very hard to keep everything organized. Unfortunately she is difficult to understand as her speech is very rapid fire. The guests got to know each and all were friendly. Lovely overall experience!

Sailing on the Olimp with Sail Croatia was, overall, a very good experience. The boat itself was fantastic, and the crew were excellent. However, a couple of things did take the shine off the trip. Firstly, in the cabins there’s a constant whirring from the extractor fans throughout the night. The air-conditioning is fine, but these bathroom fans never switch off. We asked for them to be turned off, which they kindly did on the first night, but for the rest of the week we had to put up with the noise—such a shame. Secondly, breakfast was always served in the dining area, which is air-conditioned, but with all the doors kept closed the sound of 30 people chatting becomes deafening. It seems such a missed opportunity not to let guests spread out onto the aft deck, where there’s fresh air and space for the noise to dissipate.

our guide, Vedran, combined with the absolutely lovely ship Queen Jelena and it's expert captain/owner (Gordan? sorry), combined for a wonderful experience. Exploring the Dalmatian Coast this way was amazing and everything we hoped it would it be, and was so much more. Vedran informed, educated, coddled and tolerated all of us crazy tourists with grace, humor, and bottomless patience. The captain found us the most beautiful swimming spots each day, and navigated through the islands so smoothly, especially during the few rough waters we had. The boat is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and relatively brand new (2018)! My only quibbles would be with the kitchen. The Captain's dinner was one of the best meals we had in our 2 weeks in Croatia (and probably the most fun!), and all the lunches were lovely (though the chef could have used a lighter touch with the tuna steaks and racks of lamb to better represent his skills). We just wish the breakfast window was longer and less rigid.

The islands were interesting and great to explore, however, a couple had very little to keep us occupied and exploring( notably Brac). Sail Croatia events coordinator was always helpful and available to help and plan for each stopover.. We felt that more entertainment in evenings even one more early on in cruise would have brought guests and crew together . The evening dinner on one of the islands was extremely disappointing, both for location and the meal itself.

The variety of tours on offer was good. We would have liked one night at anchor in a sheltered bay. And we would have preferred longer breakfast time from, say, 8am to 10am. The bed in our cabin wasn’t very comfortable, too hard a mattress for us. However all-in-all we had a great trip and we would recommend it to others.

Romantic Star Cruise (June 21-29, 2025) Pros: -Ship was new and clean. -Swim stops were perfect. Cons: -Staff, except guide, looked unhappy (no smile). -Cleaning day didn't do a good job cleaning. Towel were not changed in the 7 days' stay. -Food was OK, not interesting. -Coffee and juices were charged if consumed outside the 1 hour for a meal time - outrageously cheap!! -Captain's dinner (lame) and dinner in town were had in Hvar, so we didn't get to eat out in beautiful Hvar. They should have been held in Dubrovnic (where we stayed 2 nights) and Planikovak (which didn't have good restaurants).

Pros: Crew was great overall. The bartenders/servers were fantastic. Breakfast was fine to good and met expectations. Croatia is a beautiful country and our tour guide/runner was a local that was very knowledgeable in this aspect. Cons: Lunch was in general, underwhelming for the cost. My wife is a health nut, and I saw her salt food for the first time in my life. When paying this premium on price I would expect the food to be more elevated, or at least more enjoyable. The video implied more access to the boat than we received. Several small requests - like opening windows, screens, etc were denied and the requests themselves often felt as if we were asking the staff to move mountains. Tour guide was not particularly friendly, often had condescending responses to guests, & occasionally left out vital info when visiting particular islands (i.e cash only). Unfortunately, the experience on the cheaper options is probably more reflective of the value you receive on the Elegance line.

The boat was comfortable, the food beautifully prepared the shore stops were very interesting and we had a very organised cruise director. We were lucky to only have a small group of 18 on a boat that caters for 36.. The spoilers were the boat crew did their job efficiently but nothing more. There was never a smile or any other pleasantries. Only Dragon ever engaged with anyone. It often felt awkward. It was the first time we have encountered this on our many cruises. Also, it was pretty savings to only have coffee available from 7.30am and only instant coffee available for free at morning tea. If we wanted an express it cost €5 which is exploitation when on sure we had many coffees for less than half that price.

We enjoyed having a relatively small group of fellow travellers being 36 in total from Australia, Canada, South Africa, UK and USA. Our cabin was comfortable although the quality in pillows and towels was poor. The chef and catering staff did a magnificent job with meal preparation it’s was always delicious The dining saloon however was very noisy during meal times and made conversation difficult The islands/towns visited all had something different to enjoy and we soon chose our favourites. The staff were all friendly and courteous and the boat comfortable and in good condition .We were disappointed that smoking was allowed in the inside deck area which was enclosed with plastic coverings. and attached to the dining saloon. This was especially unpleasant and meant many of us could not utilise this area. This issue was reported to the staff however we felt the resolution unsatisfactory. Regardless of these issues we did enjoy the experience and had a lot of laughs.

Overall, a very good experience. We both enjoyed our week on the Olimp, it is a beautiful ship. Our rep was amazing, he worked hard to ensure we had a good week. The food , especially lunch, was beyond exceptional. Breakfast wasn't bad but I expected some good fresh fruit options instead of canned peaches and unripe pineapple every morning. Included in the cruise price we had two really excellent wine tastings and two that were average. Having said that, we would still recommend cruising with Sail Croatia. We reserved a few years ago but then the COVID Pandemic landed. We had to cancel and Sail Croatia were so great to deal with. A full refund no hassle. We rebooked six months ago and just returned home. We were on the ESperanza Dubrovnik return. Boarding was easy. We met with Mia the cruise director. Such a lovely warm kind person. She was so organised . We got great information and recommendations where to go when ashore. The food was very good . Anna and Antonio were our servers and bar tenders. Nothing was too much trouble to them. The weather was not the best but the captain and the sailors had to rearrange the itinerary to avoid the rough seas at times. We felt safe at all times and managed swim stops in secluded bays every day. Overall we loved it. We made new friends who we will keep in contact with. Two small areas that could improve. The hairdryer in the room wasn't great so I'm told. Also the ladders for getting back onboard after swimming need to be longer. Excellent.

Wonderful crew and an amazing Sail Croatia representative ( Barbara 😊) The boat (Esperanza) was beautiful, and perfectly maintained. The food was delicious. The drinks were fairly priced. My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary . It was a trip of a lifetime. All and all the itinerary was good. I would skip Mijet. There was not enough to do on the island.

We stayed in Mijet which was not worth the stop. As for the food. Breakfast was good but could have had more options instead of eggs. Lunch was over the top each day. The food was good. The night before and the day of decorating, we felt rushed off the boat. We had to be off by 9am. Jacuzzi was emptied the night before and could not be used. Did not understand why decorating time could not have been around 11.. The staff was great and the swim stops we a pleasure.

On arrival we were greeted by Ioana who welcomed us in a very professional and courteous manner. The ship Olimp was amazing. Very modern and clean. The crew were equally professional and a special mention must go to our housekeeper. She was the BEST. Our cabin was always cleaned with fresh towels which made our experience even more enjoyable knowing that everything was clean. Ioana who was in charge of cruise went over and above to ensure everything was perfect for all the guests on board. Sail Croatia is a customer oriented company and we are glad we sailed with them. The ports we visited were fantastic. The ability to select from a number of organized tours at each port or just do your own thing was much appreciated. Croatia is a beautiful country and we felt safe and welcomed everywhere we went. However, there are a few things you should consider. You don’t get to most ports until mid afternoon each day so might have less exploration time than you anticipated. The breakfast selections were great but lunches and dinners are at set times and set menus. We loved it but be aware you get what they serve. Our lower level room was very nice, but it was only serviced a couple times in the whole week and twice we had to ask for things like toilet paper, garbage to be emptied and dry towels. Oddly enough other rooms had the same issues while others were tended to daily which was weird. No idea why the discrepancy, but the final assessment is we had fun and would do it again.

After four weeks of independent traveling through major cities, the pace of the seven day cruise was very welcome and needed. The daily routine of a generous buffet breakfast, relaxing on the deck before a swim and then a three course lunch before departing for shore for the afternoon, was very pleasant in the beautiful weather we had. The cruise offered a glimpse of the beautiful cities and islands Croatia has to offer, which I would now like to explore further. We had two evening meals and a lavish wine and cheese night on board too. Daily activities are offered at an extra cost, with some requiring minimum numbers to go ahead. Most people on our cruise were retired or nearing retirement and shared many common interests, (particularly travel) which created a great atmosphere. Staff were terrific.

We loved our trip with Sail Croatia on the Olimp. Wonderful ports, beautiful swim stops, lovely food, pleasant hard working staff. However, our trip was spoilt but poor communication prior to us leaving home as we did not know that all payments once on board were to be in cash. For a cruise of this luxury status, we find this unbelievable, but prior knowledge would have enabled us to better prepared and not worry every day about what we were spending.

The ship was very nicely appointed. It was clean and comfortable. The cruise destinations were all very special and memorable. I really enjoyed my time with Sail Croatia. Our tour guide, Mia, was excellent. Pamela and Toemo stood out amongst the crew. They worked diligently and were very pleasant. There were a few areas of opportunity for improvement. The crew (Sailors) could have been much more friendlier. A simple smile and hello when passing guest would make a big difference. They would not even acknowledge you. The food presentation and service was very good. The food quality and taste needs a lot of improvement. The food was either very bland (no flavor) or very salty. The desserts were good, but the meals (lunches/dinner) were not. The coffee on the boat was terrible! This is such a simple offering that goes a long way. It was instant coffee and it was only offered until noon everyday. Thank you

This is a rather presumptuous title. There were many good things about the cruise but some improvements could be made. The scenery was wonderful and historic towns very interesting; food on the boat was very good; food onshore was overpriced and variable quality. Service on boat was very good. There could have been more attention to safety during swim stops eg ensuring safety rope was always in the water and life belt available at all times.. Additional to information given by tour manager, Boris. It would also be good to know about cultural events taking place onshore eg concerts, traditional events. We happened by chance to see the changing of the guard in Dubrovnik and discovered quite a few music events by chance. A disappointing welcome reception for one non-alcohol drinker who was given water in a plastic cup while everyone else was sipping Prosecco from a glass flute. I should have been offered juice, tonic, sparkling water etc not just some water in a plastic cup!

We had to cancel our initial 2020 booking due to Covid so we were lucky to get one of the last cabins on Olimp ( elegance cruise) It certainly was a wonderful way to see some of the Croatian islands in style. The regular swimming stops were a highlight as well as the amazing crew on board ! Vedran our tour manager kept us well informed and was always on hand for any support needed. Our cabin was comfortable, cool and quiet. We also had a friendly and fun group on board which made our trip even better. I would thoroughly recommend a Sail Croatia experience.

The group would mean the difference between a good time and an awesome time. We were lucky. I did find the breakfasts a little tedious with the same items served up every day with almost no variety. The cabins were clean, but the curtains need to be upgraded to block out light. The Queen Jelena was a beautiful ship. The rooms are comfortable and the common areas were lovely. Such a stunningly beautiful journey! The swim stops made the trip! (bring your water shoes so you don't step on sea urchins when you go explore the shore, also the ship doesn't supply any water toys, so pack maybe a blow-up ring/noodle to float around on). The crew, especially our Tour Guide Stjepan (Steven), Petar and Tomo in the dining room/bar and Zrinka, the maid were FANTASTIC! Keep in mind that not all the excursions that are shown for each island are available at the time you go. We were hoping for more excursions, but still enjoyed each island! The cruise director was not as informative or involved as the cruise guide we had on our previous Elegance Cruise (Olimp) in 2018. He did not accompany us in any of the towns, rather just pointed us in the direction of the buildings of significance. Our previous guide, Ana, was excellent. On our previous cruise, a glass of wine or beer was included with lunch. This has been discontinued. I had specifically asked in advance, about paying by credit or debit card and was told that we could via an email response. Day one, our cruise director informs us that the port fee of 30E each and the bar tab had to be paid in cash. I would recommend that people choose either Dubrovnik to Split/Split to Dubrovnik rather than Split to Split (north). More to see and enjoy. Croatia has become very expensive after changing to the Euro.

The collection from the airport on arrival was somewhat disorganised - but we were dropped off at our hotel eventually. Unfortunately, on the 5th day, my wife and I were violently sick along with several others on the boat at the same time. The tour manager thought it must be a bug as they had a similar problem the previous week, however, as 8 people came down at the same time, we felt it was possibly food poisoning. Unfortunately it ruined the holiday and made our journey home quite difficult. We were told that breakfast on the day of departure would be starting at 7am, but none was available by 7:20am when we left for our bus to the airport. We were hoping for some toast.

Amazing sea coastal island sceneries cruising on a luxury Yatch. Great sunrise each morning, and will remember for ever my Turkish cafe. The best daily swim in theses clear Dalmatian waters with a captain who found great quite safe water spot paradise for us. Love his character, and passion for his country Croatia. About the chef, and his delivery product, a very poor results, and a no interest in what he does. The breakfast buffet were fine, and sorry but the lunch menu and food were a shame in relation to the image and the service that your company want to achieve. That would be the issue that you need to work on it. Simple fresh food with care , attention, balance of the menu, and a touch of imagination, this is what the people like.

Our guide, Stefan, was excellent and did his best to make it a great experience - even if we had some very bad weather at the beginning. The boat and the crew were fine and the service excellent. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to make the cruise a great experience. As an example, a guest suffered a family tragedy; and within minutes the staff was already coordinating arrangements for her to get to her family. Our only complaint is that they weren't able to modify the agenda to accommodate weather conditions unsuitable for swimming. We spent a lot of dead time waiting for an afternoon docking slot because the weather wasn't suitable for swimming at the selected swimming locations.

The comfort of the room, the very professionel and friendly, at the same time, crew, the choice of islands that we visited and excursions offered. Our Sail Croatia representative on board was excellent. She knew her country and good stories. She also listen to her clients. One thing where there will be place for improvement is for a vegetarian or pescatarian diet. We had 3 days of sauté veggies and 4 days of tuna steak. Don't take me wrong It was good but too much the same. Desserts were very good.

The ship itself, MS Olimp, was superb...one of the best on the circuit. Captain Yuri takes immense pride in, and care of his ship, which is genuine luxury. Comfort and safety of his passengers was Yuri's number one priority. All the crew were chilled and attentive. Vedran, our Sail Croatia representative, was always 'on point' and we loved his comedic irony and dry sense of humour. 'V' was also extremely knowledgeable about his country's history. The island ports we visited were just so charming and picturesque. Milna in particular was rustic and authentic in a cosy harbour, and Korcula was just beautiful. We never knew the Croatian Islands had so much charm. If you love small ship cruises, the Elegance Cruise is just for you.

It was our first time on a cruise and Sail Croatia team and Ivan made it a very enjoyable and pleasurable experience. The food was absolutely great, the overall staff were very friendly and always approachable and there to assist you if needed. The itinerary for the cruise was a great selection and the cabins are of a good size and always clean too. Ivan our main host was brilliant and very proud of his country and rightly so. I would 100% recommend Sail Croatia and especially the trip we went on. We have made many lovely memories on this cruise and met some lovely people. Ivan gave great info daily about our planned days including history and local details of each of the islands visited. We also thought having a photographer come along to photo the group was a wonderful idea capturing the holiday. We have a 4 instead of a 5 star because there was a limited selection of alcoholic beverages, no nibbles and cabin decor is a little basic, however we loved our holiday and thank you xx

This is a well structured sail program with good island tours and there is still time for recreation in the form of swimming off the boat. The tours are well chosen and the guides’ seem dedicated to their country The administration of the bar service with sometimes extremely rigid closing times- 11pm - on shore an early closure time - renders the service unsatisfactory I presume the extremely small amounts of bathroom amenities- soap shampoo - is intended to be a green effort. We originally booked the trip on Alfa Mario for very specific reasons (There is a pool on board and access to swimming spots is from the back platform). the boat was changed and we had no choice in the matter. We could either change our dates or get a refund, BUT we had already booked and paid for flights, so actually had no choice. On board the Queen Jelena there are a few small things that would have made a big difference. A turn down service would add a nice touch. On the top deck the barman was on duty some of the time, he could perhaps have walked around and taken drink orders. A few floating toys would also have been nice during swim stops.

We gve this only 4 Stars due to the fact that it was advertised as a 5 STAR cruise and it didn;t live up to our expectations. We had an absolutley fabulous time but some amenities were lacking. Upon arrival for Welcome on Board at 11:30 AM after a long walk to the port, (PORT LOCATION WAS CHANGED AND WE WERE NOT NOTIFIED NOR WERE THE PORT PEOPLE HELPFUL) it would have been nice to have been offered a cold towel & water. Instead we were directed to bar to purchase water/drinks. Our Welcome w/ canopes & champage was to be at 12 -we were greeted at 12:40 with champage - and no appetizers or canapes. No food available unless you are at breakfast between 8 & 9 and Lunch between 1-2 and we were forbidden to bring snacks/drinks on board. No refrig in room - need to go to water cooler to get cold water in middle of nite. But we would recommend to other cruisers as a fun experience.

We cruised on the Roko in June 2022. We enjoyed the concept of that cruise, a good alternation of resting and fun time on boat and discovery of the islands. Food was great, cabin confortable, staff friendly and professionnal. The boat itself is amazing, we appreciated the private balcony! We would have appreciate a transfert from boat to Dubrovnik on day 7 like others cruises lines were doingm instead of taking public transportation. It was a Elegance Cruise, after all!! Also, the stop at Vela Luka is totally useless, a waste of time since there is nothing to see or do at that place. Please review the itinérary. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

We were so well looked after from beginning to end. The onboard welcome set the tone for the week. The destinations were ideal for a mature couple and the ships facilities made relaxing in between a pleasure. Our on board guide was the best! And the crew were so friendly and helpful. Lunches particularly were prepared with care - lots of fresh ingredients. In short - we loved it!

We loved the personal aspect. The food was excellent and the staff made it special and looked after us really well. Our original cruise was cancelled 2 weeks before we were due to leave and we swapped onto a different one but the staff were most helpful with changing details, and arranging for our transfer to a different port. Our one issue was that in some ports, we didn't have much time to explore, due to the late docking of the ship which limited arranging any excursions prior to nightfall. We were concerned we wouldn't enjoy this cruise so much, but we loved it and would recommend to others. Special thanks to Boris and Tomo who both excelled and made the whole experience very special.

Well appointed, comfortable new Roko ship with lovely staff. The swim stops were beautiful and it was nice to enjoy each island’s sites and restaurants, Representative Boris was wonderful with knowledge and tips for every port. Head waiter Bojan was charming and attentive. Dule and Marijana served excellent meals and desserts and Lorena kept everything tidy. I would skip the included village visit and meal. Only wish is that Sail Croatio would have smoke free ships, smoking from the staff was disturbing particularly in the early mornings.

On arrival we were at once impressed by the beautiful lines of the Ship for intents a luxury yacht. The location on Split dock alongside a number of other similar vessels added to the scene. As the group met for the first time we were introduced to crew and of course the Captain. The roles for each were clearly stated and very quickly we were underway to our first port of call. But before that there was swimming in the refreshing ad sparkling Adriatic. Lunch followed and we were quickly into the rhythm of what was seven fabulous days. The island we visited and the spots where we swam all had unique attributes impossible to reach in any other fashion One of the highlights was the visit to Dubrovnik a magnificent location with so much to offer, We were also fortunate to avoid be coincident with the arrival of the monster cruise ships and enjoyed an excellent tour. The food was average , only 2 meals on the boat were of the quality I accept when traveling internationally ,not a choice of fish or meat and 2 of the meat coarse served I would had sent back if served to me in a average restaurant in the world. Having a window of 1 hour to have breakfast is unacceptable by any standards of any hotel cruise line in the world 8 to 9 and if you arrived at 855 they started to pack away as if the were still in a communist country no Tea or coffee making facilities before 8 am which is absolutely not acceptable by any standards in the world The tour guide was average,a poor communicator spoke too long on ever Occassion ,boat was nice and clean staff were pleasant .We enjoyed ourselves because of the company we met . this trip we visited London,New York ,Santorini,Athens now France I Am 60 years travelled the world annually you requested a critique so I have taken the time hope you improve ,there is a lot of scope in food ,guide, done 4

On arrival the Olipm was gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. The lower cabins are by far the best choice. The food on boards was excellent. Lara and the Captain were very good hosts. The bar/ waiter staff looked pretty miserable for the duration of the trip offering hardly any hospitality or smiles. It appeared that the job was a chore to them. I cannot understand why customers cannot pay for their drinks at the end of each evening. What is the reason for this? Also the boat ran out of Jack Daniels and despite going to other islands this was never replenished, why? It seems ridiculous and the boat is losing money! The bar staff were not interested. Other than that we had a fantastic holiday.

We arrived and were put in a room with a shower that did not work. The crew knew about the issue with the shower. They put us in the room anyway. I had to change rooms so I could have a room with a working shower. The new room was smaller and had 2 beds. The original room had a full size bed and was larger. That was a bit upsetting since they knew about the issue. I also paid for a larger room. We did not have enough time on land on any of the stops especially in Dubrovnik. We arrived in Dubrovnik very late in the afternoon and left early in the morning. This town was the highlight of the trip with very little time there.

It was flexible, small party made it easy to engage with rest of travelers. Not to long between each island. Tour guide Matteo was very informative about each next destination all things of interest to see and view he was very informative about each places of interest, very good at his job as well as being great host. The breakfast is very repetitive with limited choice. Fresh milk would certainly help improve the tea,coffee and breakfast experience. More fresh towels should be made available especially deck towels as the loungers were constantly wet. No attempt was made to cover them or stack them overnight. The standard of the cabin cleaning was poor and on one of the days no one on the boat had their rooms cleaned. The itinerary needs a lot of improvement you are often sitting off shore from the Islands waiting for a docking time. This can be very late in the afternoon. Water taxis should be offered to those guests who would like to go ashore and explore. The communication between the cruise director was poor and we often second guessing amongst ourselves what might be happening next. If definitely felt like the end of the season and everyone except the guests were looking forward to it being over and this was reflected in the service we recieved from some of the crew.

Esperanza is a beautiful ship maintained to an extremely high standard with helpful and attentive crew. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. The whole cruise was well organised and every port of call was fascinating. The only criticism would be the food which although it was wholesome and well presented would have been much better if hot breakfasts had been warmer than lukewarm and main dishes had not been overcooked.

Our Split to Dubrovnik trip was great - we had an amazing group of people and enjoyed the lovely ship. Staff does run a tight one! It was great to have dinners on our own most nights with the flex to stay out for the evening when the islands are less busy. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great, even if our upper cabin was noisy. Overall a fun week!

I think bottled water should be put in the room daily as you can't drink the water in the cabin (which was very small when you put suitcases inside). Not being able to access coffee or tea until 8am is a bit of a bug bear if you are an early riser. Could move the coffee/tea facilities onto the undercover deck area which would also help with the congestion around the breakfast bar, Arriving in the ports in the afternoons means you miss most of the day on the islands. Rafting up in rough weather is difficult if you are a bit older. Could have a few activities on the ship for the days you don't get to port till late afternoon, basically nothing to do on board.

BEAUTIFUL boat and loved the swimming off the boat! Great crew and "V" was fun and we enjoyed his humour very much! Would have enjoyed more sunning chairs and music on the sun decks. The best part was our cruise director Matteo. He was very informative and helpful. He answered all our questions and really made us feel at home. We really connected with Matteo Bartenders Carlos and tomislav were great as well as Ivana our maid. We were a bit disappointed in some of the meals served. For example we had tuna one day which was overdone. I prefer tuna rare as most people would. Overall a great experience

The trip itinerary was fabulous and the Captain and crew very efficient. Mateo, the cruise director, had a great sense of humour with very informative daily updates. Swim stops were ideal as the weather was very hot. Don’t expect 5 Star but the cabin was comfortable, clean and functional for a small boat. The chef was very accommodating for dietary requirements and on the whole the food was good but it occasionally missed the mark. Our recommendation is to bring your own pillow. I would definitely take this trip for the scenery and history of beautiful Croatia.

The boat was very well maintained and the rooms were very clean and functional. The crew were pleasant, attentive and service focussed. Plenty to eat but the food was average at best. Breakfast adequate, lunch well below par taste-wise. Where we were underwhelmed was with the way the itinerary played out with swimming and excursions and with the cruise director. For example, the first day we sailed for an hour and a half to Milna then docked around 2.30pm. Next morning we sailed 100 metres then spent over an hour refuelling - result no swim stop. Why was refuelling not carried out the afternoon before? Another example we sailed to Korcula arriving mid-morning and asked in a channel offshore to have lunch and then get a water taxi late afternoon to the town. Many people would gladly have skipped lunch and gone exploring in the morning give the option. No info given about swim options in Korcula which were far batter than bobbing in a deep channel. Just not up to scratch.

The fact that it was a small cruise is the reason we went. The format was good, rooms were great, and the overall experience was memorable. We were not to happy with our rep who was vague at times, lacked confidence and misinformed us on several occasions. He did get most of the passengers off side. The food was a little sub standard considering we sat at a well presented table each day. Overall. A great experience but some improvement needed.

Firstly I would like to say the people on board made the cruise. The fact that everyone spoke English was paramount to everyone mixing in together and the enjoyment of the cruise. Secondly the way the dining and scheduling of the meals was really good that gave variety. Also the food was really well planned and good. Loved the breakfasts. . The host V was very helpful and supportive in every way. A very important element. May I say a few negatives. Firstly the flies in the rooms was awful. No provision of deterrent or non chemical spray. Also I think there should have been a BBQ or outside dinner. The weather was so good and would have been ideal. When swims were held some kayaks or noodles would have been great for playing!

Dear Sail Croatia Firstly I want to say Alex and I very much enjoyed the accommodation on the boat and we were very impressed with the helpful friendly staff. Generally we thought the holiday was good value. My only criticism was the quality of the lunches and the repetitive breakfast menu. Cordial substituted for orange juice wasn't appealing. On most days I couldn't eat the main meal. The food offered was poorly cooked. On one occasion the fish was undercooked and covered in a very thick sauce, inedible. The vegetables were often overcooked. The chicken breast was dry and tough.. The entrees and desserts were generally acceptable. Our group of 6 travellers discussed the food and we all agreed a barbecue or smorgasbord of fresh salads could be offered. I understand some guests enjoy a hearty 3 course lunch however I do think there is room for improvement with the food. I'm not sure whether its your budget or the skill of the cook, or both..

Great week with Sail Croatia from Split to Dubrovnik. We were on the Olimp which is a beautiful boat and Captain Renato was brilliant. The staff were very attentive and eager to please and great to be with. Antonio our guide could not do enough for us and told some funny stories each day at lunch. He also made sure we were first to visit the blue cave so had zero waiting time which is an achievement. The cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable and freshened up daily. The facilities on the boat met our expectations and was spacious enough that you could be with a group of people, or find a quiet spot to read uninterrupted. We were never hungry - food mostly excellent. A great group of fellow travellers the week that we sailed and the weather was superb. We had some fabulous swim stops and were so totally relaxed by the time we got to Dubrovnik that it was a bit of a shock to have to readjust to real life. The only improvement I would suggest is to make tea and coffee freely available.

The travel route of the Split - South was what made this a 4 star rating. I would not make this trip much later in the year as it was plenty hot already. The cities visited were great and add to the high rating. The ship itself is nice. The things that took away from a perfect score were: 1. the food and 2. the cruise adviser. I had explained prior to purchase I was vegetarian and would not purchase if could not b accommodated. My meal preparation was not done well at all. Even the breakfast was sub-par; all food that was supposed to b hot wasn't and vice versa. For example, cold eggs and hot cheese. For the first 2 days people were commenting on the "lack of" food and were hungry. 2. Ivan did not have many facts accurate and am not sure why. Maybe he was told we would swim 2 hours but then it was really 20 minutes, for example. Also the times that things were open were incorrect: the nun lace monastery and the shell museum. He also seemed to just make stuff up when you asked him.

Constructive criticism, not sour grapes, these issues damage your brand Water in cabins daily, it’s not potable Shampoo, conditioner and tissues Quality white towels, as they were thin, discoloured and scratchy, changed more than once weekly, as they won’t dry in cabin Shower cleaned to a higher standard on checkin, understand cleaner only has an hour between changeover, ridiculous, get her help, they need bleach and a good scrub to remove obvious black scum. Ice on the table at meals ( which Antonio addressed) as the weather is hot and it’s unpleasant drinking warm water, your self serve outdoor water dispenser needs to be plugged in so it’s cold! These are minor but important. I made Antonio aware of these issues, echoed by the other guests on Day 1, who by the way is a great asset to you, he apparently notified head office., disappointing the simplest request, put water in the cabins didn’t eventuate! Cruise itself, and staff was excellent! The problems easily fixed!

With maximum passenger capacity of about 40 people, Sail Croatia cruises are just the right size to achieve a really friendly atmosphere. The boat was kept in immaculate condition and one felt safe and well looked-after. The food was rather unimaginative but, given the ridiculously small kitchen it’s a wonder they were able to get anything onto the table at all! Special praise must be reserved for all the crew and staff without whom these Sail Croatia cruises would be no more than average. Polite, well-trained, good humoured, extremely hard-working - nothing was too much trouble for them and their contribution to customer enjoyment was invaluable. They all seem to work with no supervision or management so the company (and its passengers) are very lucky indeed to be able to rely on such a high calibre of personnel.

It was nice that the group was very similar in age. We bonded within a day and had many drinks and dinners together even when off the boat. We were all English first language speakers from around d the globe. Staying in port overnight is a great fun thing. This makes this cruise different from others on the big ships. The staff and the captain were very good. The wait staff tried hard. I'm not sure if lack of English made them uncomfortable. The breakfast and lunches were good. The chef got an ovation for two of the lunches. The Captains dinner evening was a fun night with speeches and jokes and music from the guests. we all stayed on the boat and enjoyed ourselves. The bar could use a wider selection of alcohol and especially liqueurs. More than just the basics. The complimentary wine served with lunch could be upgraded. Croatia and the islands were beautiful. The people were friendly. This would be a recommended way to see this part of the world.

On the whole my review is very favorable. Comfortable cabins, delightful crew, excellent cruise director. Good facilities (the jacuzzi could have been warmer). A nice ship. What could be improved? The presentation of the food was very good, but the quality was, with a few exceptions quite average and a couple of occasions inedible ie. very over cooked tuna. And I suspect the vegetables were of the frozen variety. Breakfast, although plentiful and tasty was exactly the same for 7 days. No variety at all. The wine offered at lunch was the same everyday and not particularly good and this was a complaint from most of the guests I spoke to. But overall, if you could improve on the food, I could definitely recommend Sail Croatia.

Coffee and tea available for no cost all day. Felt like we were nickel and dime. Ability to get off the boat before mid afternoon when possible. Would have liked to have been told in the beginning that most restaurants don’t take credit cards. Some form of non slip traction in the shower. The boat was pristine. Shared areas comfortable and attractive. Beds, shower, service of room excellent. Private areas looked a bit utilitarian and could do with a few more grab rails; useful for rough weather and for drying of washing of smalls. A dedicated washing and drying room on boat would be great. Food was beautifully presented, however more often than not meat and fish over cooked and hard/dry; almost inedible. Maybe the cooking facilities were not up to the task of preparing roasted or grilled meat or fish. Final niggle, and one that I think was petty. Bottled water should have been supplied to each room; to charge for it and a cup of tea, both of which are inexpensive was petty and seemed grasping. Pity!

The boat was very comfortable, with always plenty of space for everyone and still quiet corners when needed. Our cabin (below deck) was plenty big enough, quiet and the bathroom had a great shower and plenty of hot water. The route was beautiful, a superb mixture of scenery and history, with some fun excursions too (buggies in Kortula). The food on board was good, the staff went out of their way to please and the cruise guide was very knowledgeable but also good fun. What made it extra enjoyable were the rest of the passengers, everyone got on well, lots of fun, but respectful of privacy too. We will definitely try another one. Croatia is so beautiful and this is a brilliant way to see it.

Travelled the Esperanza for one week in high summer. The cruise was a fantastic escape from all the crowds. The super friendly crew and service was outstanding. The itinerary gave a great snapshot of the Dalmatia coast line and many swim stops inthe crystal blue waters a worthy memorable event. Made many friends onboard and sad it came to an end.

We had a great Split (North) cruise. The Diamond was immaculate and the crew very friendly and attentive. The crowd was a good mix and we enjoyed most of the destinations. The food onboard was well prepared although simple. Our cabin was comfortable and well maintained. All in all we had a really great trip. We would thoroughly recommend this cruise and would like to offer some minor suggestions which would easily elevate our 4 stars to 5. In 2018 settling a bar bill in cash is inconvenient The 3 course lunch is arguably be too much for most people, a buffet type lunch may be more appropriate and provide more choice. In Hvar the boat anchored offshore (this is the norm) and we were put ashore by water taxi mid afternoon with no option to return to the boat until it was able to dock at 8 pm. This made for a very long afternoon. Holding the Captains Dinner on the same day as an excursion meant that we did not get to see the town of Vodice

Olimp is a beautiful boat very comfortable with lots of areas inside and out to relax. Cabins are spacious and comfortable. Dining area was nicely appointed and all meals very appetizing We were lucky to cruise with like minded and similar age group of lovely people and we all got on extremely well. Mooring in the smaller ports and being able to experience the bars and restaurants, and also being able to swim off the boat in beautiful clear water. The crew were great and Antonio did a wonderful job as cruise director.

The Elegance cruise is the way to go for people of the ages 40+, the cruise is very well organised and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The stops along the way are stunning and certain tours were included. It is certainly an amazing way to see the coastline of Croatia! The people you meet on the cruise are generally like minded people and friendships are formed that could last a lifetime. What is nice is that you don't always have to do everything with the group and there is a lot of time for privacy. I would definitely recommend this cruise for anyone who would like to explore the Dalmation coastline. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and I can honestly say, it was the most special time ever!

Meals were not up to my expectations. There were no attempts by staff to help the travellers mingle and get to know each other at the beginning of the cruise. A wine and cheese on the first night would have been good.

A lovely week Island hopping with Sail Croatia. We loved the spacious boat with excellent cabin (big shower) and the care taken by the staff to ensure we had a great time. Mia, Tomo and Ivana, in particular, made the trip something extra special.

Every aspect of the cruise when well.. It was smooth sailing all the way. The crew was excellent, very helpful. Tomo our waiter was very efficient & always served with a smile. Ivana our coordinator was always pleasant & helpful. The food was excellent too..
