This was a holiday shared with friends old and new. From the moment of arrival at the Quay to every day on board, excursions and final departure, everything was seamlessly managed. The captain and his boat staff were super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure every request was addressed. The food was excellent, fresh local produce which was beautifully presented and delicious. Amazing from a small kitchen with 2 very dedicated individuals , the chef and his support. The cabins were cleaned thoroughly everyday and the 2 bar staff , Pamela and Luce were brilliant with a good sense of humor. Our Sail Croatia rep Vicko was just fantastic with a great deal of history and local knowledge. He managed to keep us informed, learning about Croatia and laughing the whole trip. His relaxed informal style meant everyone enjoyed chatting with Vicko. The whole trip exceeded expectations.

While the ship (Esperanza) was a bit tired, the crew was amazing. Our tour manager, Dino, was the best. He was so attentive to the guests and responsive to our needs. He had to make several itinerary adjustments due to weather, but still had special events scheduled in most locations. Mio & Ivo were also a great servers and bartenders and tge chef, Vladim was excellent. I’d be back next year if we had the same crew on an updated ship.

Was truly a trip of a lifetime! It was a very special way to celebrate a friend’s 60th birthday. Everything was above expectations from the ship, Queen Jelena, to the captain and cabin crew, with special thanks to Pamela and Lucy, who we kept quite busy provided excellent service and always with a smile! The food was excellent, especially the daily 3 course lunches that could rival any top restaurant! Our sailors, “ the Joseph’s” kept us safe on swim stops and our comings and goings on the boat. Our “cruise director” Sail Croatia rep.,Vicko, was wonderful. His daily briefings on the day’s destination and activities were always entertaining and informative. He messaged us reminders, directions, restaurant suggestions, and meet up stops. He’s very personable and made the day to day so easy! I highly recommend Sail Croatia, you will not be disappointed!

We did the Elegance Dubrovnik-Dubrovnik cruise on Esperanza and had a fantastic time. Dino, our tour guide, was super professional, friendly, and communicative with the entire group and really made our trip memorable. He answered all our questions, gave excellent recommendations for dining & sightseeing, and managed the details of our transportation back to the airport flawlessly. Ivo and Mio also deserve special mention from the crew since they were particularly attentive and friendly throughout the cruise and helped those of us wanting to learn some Serbo-Croatian with patience and humor. Captain Jure was a total professional and clearly a skilled seaman as he guided us through some heavy seas on our return to Dubrovnik. Overall a fantastic visit to some of Croatia’s most beautiful spots with a wonderful ship & crew.

We really enjoyed the small ship atmosphere and being able to get to know your fellow passengers and make new friendships. The food was exceptional and it was nice not having every minute being planned for us. We were on the wine cruise and the winery experiences were fantastic. The tour leader (Lola) and the rest of the crew went out of their way to accommodate every request. I’d definitely recommend this company.

We travelled from Dubrovnik to Split on the beautiful Queen Jalena in May. Our tour coordinator, Lola, was incredible, generously sharing her knowledge of each port we docked at, daily menus, schedule updates, and helping with any and all queries along the way. The entire ship crew were absolutely fantastic — warm, professional, attentive, and always welcoming. The service throughout the trip was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere onboard was just so relaxed. Every stop along the coastline was stunning, the wineries we visited were passionate about their craft, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. In addition, we had the most incredible group of fellow travellers, all with their own interesting stories to share. Everyone looked out for each other, which made the journey even more special. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to explore the Croatian coast in comfort while enjoying outstanding hospitality.

Our 7 day cruise and excursions on the Romantic Star absolutely wonderful. The food was fantastic, the accommodations were top notch and the crew was phenomenal. 16 friends enjoyed a 7 day cruise on the Romantic Star and it was wonderful. Our food was delish & prepared with such presentation by Sivilja & Laura.. Our Cruise manager - Anita- was very informative about every island, and made excellent recommendations and reservations. Captain Ivan was Great- we even got him On the dance floor!! I'm sorry I cannot give a 5 star review. The great things about the ship was the chef, the crew and the facilities. All great - clean, organized, well run. My disappointment was in the lack of excursions on the islands between Dubrovnik and Split. I thought that we should have some kind of introduction to each island and short walking tour each time we docked. Everyday was a swim day and because the water was too cold to swim I had hoped that an adjustment would be made to the schedule for an alternate activity. Perhaps dock earlier to give us some time off the boat. There was too much sitting around time. From breakfast, through lunch there was nothing to do if you did not swim (& no one did). We did not disembark til 2 pm. Our tour dir. did her job perfunctorily and made arrangements as requested, She was not as visible or involved with our group. Although she said she has been doing this for 4 years she came off as unsure and inexperienced.

We traveled as a group of 16. Anita the tour director was a superstar. Far exceeding any and all expectations I had. I had some health issues while traveling and she made sure I got to medical help in the local village as well as coordinating a ferry ride to the Split hospital. Anita made me feel like family. The boat was very clean and the crew made sure any need that came up was addressed. The food was good. The Captain exuded confidence and made sure the guest knew he was in control of the ship at all times, I highly recommend the Romantic Star. I am sure your experience will be as satisfying as mine was.

Sailing from Dubrovnik to Split on the Wine Cruise aboard the Queen Jelena was my first cruise and first time to Croatia. Sail Croatia was a wonderful experience. The Tour Leader was warm, attentive, and proactive in ensuring the guests were informed and comfortable. I appreciated the "off the beaten path" experiences with winemakers and private tours. The crew were highly competent and the ship and accomodations were clean and tasteful. With the wine focus for the trip, the group of guests from around the globe bonded and developed friendships that will last beyond this vacation. I highly recommend. I was traveling as a single woman with friends (a married couple) and always felt welcome by the other guests and staff.

The entire experience, down to the smallest details, was extremely well coordinated and executed.The transfers from and to the airport went smoothly and the drivers made us feel comfortable and the one on the incoming transfer gave us great options for places to visit the day before we sailed. Anita was above and beyond helpful in all aspects of the cruise. She communicated any and all details very well and in a timely manner. She made sure to coordinate excursions and dinners in port that would meet our interests as well as making sure we knew where specific amenities we may need were located on shore. The chef and sous chef did an outstanding job with the meals. The beautiful presentation, fabulous flavor, and broad range of menus for each onboard meal was amazing for such a small kitchen.Lunch and the captains dinner felt like a fine dining experience. Ivan and the crew made us feel welcome and preformed their tasks smoothly.. Bravo to the team at Sail Croatia and Romantic Star!

Sail Croatia Wine Cruise was wonderful! The crew and staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to make the trip a memorable event. Ivan out tour guide was phenomenal. He taught us something new everyday about the history and geography of Croatia. He always made things interesting and fun. The entire schedule of the Wines of Croatia Cruise was perfect, never too much and always an adventure. We were treated like royalty on the ship and the accomodations were just right. We were a group of 11 friends on the Queen Jelena Wines of Croatia cruise and had the trip of a lifetime! From the service, to the cleanliness of the boat, to the excursions, everything was flawless. Biggest shout out goes to our intrepid leader Ivan who was always organized and informative, and most importantly, put up with our antics. If we were to come back for another cruise, he would be our top request! And don't forget about the food! The breakfast buffet was always hot and filling. The three course meals were some of the best meals I had while traveling ever. Finally, the dining excursions included were such a delicious way to try traditional dishes. Sail Croatia truly does an exceptional job at customer service and tourism experiences. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

The food on board was delicious! The weather was superb which allowed us to look forward to each and every swim stop. Loved all the islands we visited. Our cruise director Anita was the absolute best. Always keeping us informed ahead of time on what to expect at each island and ideas on where explore, what activities to possibly participate in and amazing selection of restaurant choices. She was always quick to answer questions, make reservations and assist with any problems anyone had. What a kind beautiful person who clearly loves what she does. For starters, our guide Ivan was best in class. And the captain and crew were helpful and really good all week. Thoughtful, much attention to detail. We did the wine tour which was lots of fun. Attractions were beautiful. Highly recommend the biking through the national park. On some guided trips you can be programmed to death - this one was just right. Lots of options and guidance on what to do and really good pace for a holiday. There was one moment on the trip when the bus didn't arrive as planned - Ivan had vans show up as a back up plan almost immediately. Felt so comfortable on the trip as he and the crew were just on top of everything. It was my first cruise and it exceeded all expectations from the boat itself to the comfort of the rooms to the food & drink to the quality of service. And Croatia is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend. Thank you Ivan, Captain, and crew on the Queen Jelena!

We are not cruise people, but our time on the Queen Jelena far exceeded our expectations. Ivan, our cruise director was very friendly, informative and helpful. Pamela always had a smile on her face and Ella and the Josips were like magic working behind the scenes making everything clean, comfortable while Captain Gordon kept us safe and sound and found the best swim spots. The kitchen was a standout as the meals were delicious and always elegantly presented which was a plus. The swim spots and wine tastings were great but the highlight for us was the professionalism of Ivan, Pamela and the rest of the crew which made this cruise one of the best vacations we have ever had. The MS Katarina was everything and more I would expect from a "Superyacht". The crew were exceptional, friendly, professional and attentive. The breakfast and lunches were amazing. We had one dinner "the Captains Dinner" on board, which I would describe as absolutely amazing. I would have loved to see how the chef prepared such a gourmet delight for all 36 of us. The daily swim spots were amazing with crystal clear waters for swimming. The Katarina was kept immaculate by all the crew. The Captains night will be remembered by all the guests on board. So much laughter dancing and singing. Will be a cruise that will be remembered by all 8 of our friends and all the other guests. Will definitely be back for another cruise. By far our best trip ever and will recommend to all our friends

Queen Jalena is a classy broad.. ooops boat. She's built in a such a way that her broad bottom glides as smoothly as silk over the seas. She looks kinda antique with her mahogany fittings and hardwood decking but she's seriously classy and a thoroughly modern miss.. The crew keep her in ship shape order,, cleaning and polishing her everyday so she sparkles. Speaking of crew, what bunch of consummate professionals they are. Nothing is ever a problem for them.
