Our tour guide Lola was incredible !!! she was easy to talk to and extremely helpful She helped us arrange water taxis and answered all of our questions. Lola was great !! We were extremely disappointed with the ship's itinerary. Had we knew that the daily swim stop was actually more than 1/2 a day of swimming and that most shore excursions were to start after lunch, Starting shore excursions at 3;00 or 4;00 is just too late . we would not have taken this cruise. We did not come to Europe to swim, we came to see and explore towns and sights. For instance we visited Milena which was a waste of a day, Nothing really to see. I wish we could have spent the time in Split which is a wonderful and interesting city.
- John, 06/10/2026 14:38, Travelled with Friend/s
The ship is very lovely. The mattress a bit soft for my liking and only 1 pillow is provided, which is silly. The company says it provides one beach towel and one bath towel. It also provides one face towel. What it does not say is that they changed your bath and face towel twice during the cruise. They never change your beach towel, and they don’t dry. It’s pretty gross. Beach towels should also be cleaned once or so per week. We use them every day. The daily itinerary should be reversed. We should go out on the islands in the morning and see the sites and have excursions, and come back to the ship in the afternoon for swimming and relaxing. The lunches are big and heavy, and are better suited for dinners. We could have lunch on our own on the island and dinner on the ship. The staff is amazing Truly helpful and accommodating. Coffee/tea/softdrinks should be included in the overall pricing. I would rather you charge a little bit more upfront and include those things

Great crew. Lola was incredible. Itinerary was a bit too light with the morning swim seeming like wasted time. Should charge a bit more and include more without additional charges (coffee, tea and soft drinks; more towels changed more often; greater food variety).

Our group of 20 sailed on Sail Croatia’s Elegance Cruise aboard Katarina in late September/early October & had a wonderful experience overall. Katarina is a beautiful luxury vessel. The food & drinks were excellent, while the captain, crew & Sail Croatia guide were incredibly welcoming & accommodating. The onboard experience exceeded expectations. Our disappointment was specifically with the late-season stop in Vela Luka. We spent an entire afternoon & evening there, but much of the town had already closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were shut, taxis & boats were unavailable & we couldn’t arrange transportation to nearby beaches. With our travel dates known well in advance, these seasonal limitations should have been considered. Our group of 20 would have gladly welcomed a different stop or extra time in Dubrovnik. Excellent vessel, food, crew & service—just disappointing itinerary planning for the time of year.

Thank you for your wonderful comments about Katarina and our onboard team! We're delighted to hear that the vessel, food and drinks exceeded expectations, and that our Captain, crew and Sail Croatia Representative made your experience so enjoyable. We're sorry that you found Vela Luka quieter than anticipated. Vela Luka is a scheduled destination on our Elegance itinerary, and while the seasonal operation of local businesses and transport providers is outside of our control, there were a number of options available during the stop, including a wine tasting excursion, Vela Spila and arrangements for guests interested in visiting nearby Proizd. The Captain's Dinner was also held onboard that evening. We appreciate your feedback regarding the late-season experience and have shared this with our Operations Team. We're very pleased that you and your group otherwise had such a wonderful experience aboard Katarina, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
We recently traveled on a Sail Croatia Elegance Cruise aboard the luxury vessel Katarina from Split to Dubrovnik in late September/early October. The onboard experience exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional—fresh, delicious & high quality. The drinks, boat, staff, captain, crew & our Sail Croatia guide were phenomenal & went above & beyond. Our only disappointment was Sail Croatia’s back-office itinerary planning. We spent an afternoon & evening in Vela Luka, only to find the town essentially closed for the season. Restaurants & businesses were closed, there was little to do & no taxis or boats were available to reach nearby beaches. For a luxury cruise, seasonal closures should be considered when planning late-season itineraries. Another stop or extra time in Dubrovnik would have been a much better option. Katarina & the onboard experience were exceptional. We only wish the itinerary had matched the same high standard.

Thank you for your lovely comments about Katarina and our onboard team! We're delighted to hear that the food, vessel, Captain, crew and your Sail Croatia Representative exceeded your expectations. We're sorry that you found Vela Luka quieter than anticipated. Vela Luka is a scheduled part of our Elegance itinerary and, while local businesses and services operate independently and may vary throughout the season, a number of options were available during the stop, including a wine tasting excursion, visiting Vela Spila and arrangements for guests wishing to visit nearby Proizd. The Captain's Dinner was also held onboard that evening. We really appreciate your feedback regarding the late-season itinerary and have shared your comments with our Operations Team for consideration. Most importantly, we're so pleased that you had such an exceptional experience aboard Katarina, and we hope to welcome you back to Croatia in the future!
- fine but the food could have been better with healthier choices

Ivica and Antonio were terrific. The food was outstanding. The boat was great. The biking seemed to be going from A to B with little sightseeing.

Great crew - waiters Lucy and Geordie were great , always friendly, great attitudes . Chef made some really nice meals ; best gnocchi ever ! There were other crew that assisted us at various times , but did not get their names Guides Borna and Andre took good care of us and were very patient and professional . They regaled us with the history of where we were cycling . Sone of the most beautiful mountains I have ever cycled on - scenery was breathtaking! This trip really tested my stamina . The cabins need updating ; , new mattresses and pillows ;were just not comfortable. I would recommend this bike/boat trip to someone who wants a challenge

Natasa and Mario were excellent guide for our week long cycle and sail cruise. They were both very knowledgeable, providing interesting information and guidance for our travels. Both guides were well organized and skilled at presenting materials in an entertaining fashion. Peter, our server was also very friendly, personable and helpful. Natasa went out of her way to assist me which was greatly appreciated. All three staff members made our week most memorable and enjoyable. Thank you Natasa , Mario and Peter!

Gorgeous boat, however there must be a better system for the toilets. They constantly smelt even when we arrived. A pair of tongs in the kitchen would be helpful. The head sail had not been checked and was requiring fixing by our crew. Other than that the Adriatic Sea was beautiful.

Thank you for sharing your review 3 star following your bareboat Yacht Charter aboard the catamaran Skyfall. We’re pleased you enjoyed the beautiful Adriatic and the catamaran overall. We’re sorry to hear about the issues with the toilets and headsail and have shared these comments, along with your suggestion regarding the kitchen equipment, with our team for review. Thank you again for your valuable feedback.
Great!

Croatia was beautiful. Adriatic wonderful to swim in. The week’s scheduling was very regimented. The ports we visited had very strict docking times to enter. Caused us to have some awkward pauses or short swims. Wish our guides had taken time on land ion each to show us around a bit. They made lots of suggestions on what’s app .. but that seemed cold. We could have biked more. Last bike was cut very short because guides did not know roadways closed for clearing and cleaning. They should have found an alternative route. Food was fabulous on board. Crew was very professional and helpful. Ship was much more elegant and updated than I expected. Optional farm lunch tour was dissspointing. No interaction with the farm family .. no tour of farm. Just here’s your food. Heard wine tasting was also very disappointing. Don’t offer and push these options if they are not top notch.. . overall this was ok experience. In Croatia. You can do better.. it was Very touristy . . Make more personal..

Thank you for your 3 star review. We’re delighted you enjoyed beautiful Croatia, swimming in the Adriatic, the fabulous food onboard, and particularly the professionalism of our crew and quality of the ship. We appreciate your comments regarding the scheduling and would have liked the overall experience to have felt more personal. Port timings and local conditions can sometimes impact the planned cycling and daily schedule, but we understand the disappointment when this results in shorter activities. Your feedback regarding the guidance ashore and optional excursions is also valuable, as we want these experiences to genuinely enhance our guests’ time in Croatia. Thank you for sharing your experience and we hope to have you onboard again in the near future.
We enjoyed our holiday on Sail Croatia. The boat was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. Croatia has some of the most beautiful water we have ever experienced, and the swim stops were fantastic for enjoying it (apart from a couple areas that were too rough to go in). The crew work hard to ensure passengers are safe and happy. Only con was the quality of food. Reading previous reviews, we were looking forward to amazing meals and unfortunately we did not find it met our expectations. Breakfast was acceptable and did not vary from day to day. The coffee was pretty awful, and you did not want to get the bottom of the carafe as you would be seeing a dark sludge at the bottom of your cup. Lunches were varied, but some issues as well. Some meals were just luke warm, the chicken breast served one day was tough, and the Captain's dinner was small portions. Overall, it was a great way to see Croatia in a short amount of time.

The crew and our tour guide were great and very helpful. It would be helpful if they published better details about the daily flow of their cruises to help manage expectations about time on the boat vs exploring the various port locations. For example you dock in each port overnight and the yacht moves in the morning to the next location with a swim stop each morning. You dock at the next port during lunch and then explore tge port during the hottest part of the day and into the night. Breakfast Buffett was varied and solid. Lunches were not great and the biggest miss for my group.

The crew and guides for sale Croatia were fantastic. Cal and Sasha, our bike guides, were helpful and fun. The biking was the highlight of the trip. The bikes were high quality. the captain clearly had the safety of the passengers as his top priority. In contrast, simple conveniences were not available. The bathrooms did not contain soap in the shower. Clean towels were only provided once during the week. And storage space and electrical sockets were sparse in the cabin. Also bike bags for carrying personal items like rain jackets… we’re not provided. For the final 24 hours - hot water was not available on the boat. Many extra fees were required during the tour eg bikes through a national forest required additional euros. The food on the boat was average - most of the meats were overcoooked.

Holiday was fantastic. The crew was absolutely 5 star and so amazing as well as our guides. Special shout out to Borna, Andrej, and Jelena! They are stellar. Biking through the islands was trip-of-a-lifetime incredible with amazing vistas and exposure to culture we could not have experienced otherwise. The only disappointment was we paid for a premium ship and due to some issue with our ship Sail Croatia had to contract a smaller ship with less comforts and it was too small for the number of passengers.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re pleased to hear that everything else about your experience was positive. Due to a last-minute operational change, the vessel originally allocated to your departure did need to be changed, and we apologise for any disappointment or confusion this caused. However, your booking was for our Premier ship category, and the replacement vessel was also a Premier ship, meaning there was no downgrade in the category booked. Thank you again for travelling with us and for your understanding regarding the last-minute vessel change.
The staff, food, and itinerary were wonderful, and Croatia is a beautiful country. We were, however highly disappointed by the size and quality of the lower cabin. We are a couple in our 60’s and we were shocked to be assigned the smallest of rooms with a bunk bed. Nowhere online were photos of this room available or advertised. If we had known the room would be so small, musty smelling, and damp we never would have booked a lower cabin. In fact, we were the first of 22 friends to book and this was the room assigned to us!! We were also quite frustrated by not being told the name of our ship until two days before boarding. It felt like bait and switch being assigned the Mali Luka when it didn’t look anything like the ships advertised on the Sail Croatia website. We absolutely feel that the size and condition of the cabin did not warrant the price we paid, Customers should know exactly what they are paying for!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you found the staff, food and itinerary wonderful and that you enjoyed beautiful Croatia. We are sorry that your cabin did not meet your expectations; however, we would like to clarify that your booking was for our Premier ship category, and Mali Luka is a Premier ship within this category. Our Premier ships offer a comfortable style of small-ship cruising rather than a luxury experience, and bookings are made by ship category rather than a specific vessel. This is why the individual ship is confirmed closer to departure. We also outline in our FAQs prior to booking that cabins across our Premier ship fleet vary in size and configuration and may feature twin beds, a double bed or a bunk-bed style arrangement. While we always endeavour to accommodate guest preferences, a particular cabin layout cannot be guaranteed within this category. For guests looking for a higher standard of accommodation and amenities, or who would prefer to select their specific ship and cabin type when booking, we also offer our Luxury Cycle product. We appreciate your feedback and are pleased that, despite your disappointment with the cabin, the staff, food and itinerary were highlights of your experience.
This was my first time with Sail Croatia! Definitely have fun memories for life from this week sailing! the people from this group ended up being like a little family especially the girls from my group the girlhood was so special! Every day was a new swim spot in beautiful waters and the ports were so cool exploring when docked, the food on board was quite delicious and the portions weren’t limited. Ola the tour guide of our party boat did a great job in keeping the group updated with recommendations, activities available and each days itinerary!! :) Each night was spent partying in a new spot and was very fun! There were a few birthdays on my week and the crew, captain and people on board were all amazing at making their birthdays feel special and celebrated with cake and birthday drinks and all! As a young person you have lots of fun connecting and partying with people around your age, I recommend! The only downside was the amount of mold spotted in the cabins and aircon vents.

First time on a cruise-cabin was in the lower level-musty/moldy smell, but shower was great and bed was great. Food was good-eggs a little undercooked, so was bacon, but overall breakfast and lunches were good. Enjoyed the hiking leaders and hikes on the different islands. Enjoyed the smaller villages and ports we stopped in. We loved the swim stops too and the other people we met on the trip.

Overall we had a good holiday. We were on the Emanuel. The boat was clean.. Biking with guides was very good. We were disappointed in some aspects. The rooms were very tight. We understand this is a boat but our bed was against a wall and the storage was minimal. The bed was very hard and linens/towels were just ok. The room would have felt better if they had used better quality items. It felt more like dorm living or summer camp. No swimming towels provided (which we knew ahead) but this takes a lot of room in a suitcase when traveling. The meals were basic and not of a standard that we expected for a vacation. Bar prices seemed a little high. It was stated not to bring food/drink onboard.. However, there was no food or snacks available other than meals. One day we were sailing 7 hours to avoid a storm and no food provided other than lunch. This meant drinking and no snacking. The upper deck was nice with a shaded area and sun deck but the furniture needs updated.

Thank you for your 4-star rating and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that overall you had a good holiday, found Emanuel clean and particularly enjoyed the cycling experience with our guides. We’re sorry that some aspects of the onboard experience did not meet your expectations. You travelled on our Premier ship category, which is designed to offer a more comfortable style of small-ship cruising, rather than a luxury experience. For guests looking for a higher standard of accommodation, amenities and onboard comforts, we also offer our Luxury Cycle product. As you noted, swimming towels are not included on our Premier ships and this is communicated prior to departure. We would also like to clarify your comment regarding bringing food onboard. Our policy does not permit external hot meals or takeaway food; however, guests are of course welcome to bring their own dry snacks onboard. We also appreciate your comments regarding the cabin furnishings, meals, bar offering and deck furniture, and will ensure these are shared with the relevant team. Thank you again for travelling with us. We’re pleased that overall you enjoyed your holiday and appreciate your 4-star review.
Generally we had a very good time but the food & behaviour of some of the crew detracted from the overall effect. From a positive point of view both of the tour leaders, Tasi & Toni, were excellent. They worked hard to produce a great experience, were both welcoming & knowledgeable. Each hike was fun, with lots of sights & information. For the price of the trip the food was not up to standard. Breakfasts were good but both lunches & dinners were poor, mostly constituted by overcooked meat, sauce & tinned vegetables. It could and should have been much better. The crew were generally OK, but one in particular shouted at the passengers a number of times in an unnecessary manner. A briefing at the beginning of the cruise as to what areas on the deck to avoid would have helped here too. The first swim off the back of the boat was fantastic & should have been repeated rather than staying at the dock & having to search out local beaches. Other passengers were also great fun & company

5 stars for the flexibility of the tour (great balance of bike, swimming, city walks and sailing time). Low-quality ship with humongous humidity in cabins. For was just ordinary, with little flavour and no variety. Wine policy (buying entire bottles instead of wine by the glass) is ridiculous. Alcool prices are exorbitant on the ship. Example: house is sells 45 euros for 750ml. Tommy sells same brand for 7,95 euro… Despite poor quality of the ship and meal offering, I had a great vacation!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you had a great vacation and particularly appreciate your 5-star rating for the flexibility of the tour, including the balance of cycling, swimming, exploring and sailing. We’re sorry that some aspects of the ship did not meet your expectations. You travelled on our Premier ship category, which is designed to provide a more comfortable small-ship experience, rather than a luxury product. For guests looking for a higher standard of ship, amenities and overall comfort, we also offer our Luxury Cycle product. We also appreciate your comments regarding the meals and onboard drinks offering and pricing, which we will share with the relevant team for review. Thank you again for travelling with us. We’re pleased that, despite these areas of feedback, you ultimately had a great holiday and enjoyed the overall Cycle Croatia experience.
A fun relaxing week with friends where we were treated to exceptional food and service and places to visit. Our swims each day were memorable and our tour manager (Vedran) a legend with a wonderful sense of humour. We would highly recommend this cruise.

We had such a wonderful week on the cycle trip. The guides, sailors and bar staff were all terrific. The boat was a little tired in places and the linen really needs and upgrade. However their staff did a brilliant job. We loved it and would recommend.

The cruise on board the Esperanza was a great cruise. The staff was wonderful. The staff and our group of friends got along wonderfully. The food was delicious. But, I would have loved a cup of real coffee instead of instant coffee from a machine. Dino arranged a fishing expedition for us to enjoy. Ivo and Mio kept the drinks flowing and were always smiling. My cabin was refreshed daily. The comfort on the boat in the social areas was nice but there were a few issues that I would like to mention. While there was a blow dryer for drying our hair, the blow dryers lacked power. There was an electric outlet in the sleeping area of the cabin but there was no mirror. A mirror would have been nice for makeup application too. Also the closet did not give us the option to hang anything longer than a shirt. My dresses couldn’t hang long. There was not enough drawer storage at all! Towels were treated like a precious commodity and not refreshed unless asked for. Not true luxury

Good but hoped for more time to explore/shop … on the stops. Door stops for bathroom door needed, bathroom re-supply and amenities were poor, toilet was never cleaned in our room. Breakfast window of 8-9 too short when underway by 6-7 each day. A bit more variety in the hot breakfast menu - it was the same fare each day.. More excursions offered with passenger commitment secured before the trip starts - not everyone is into swimming and water sports. Crew and servers were very attentive and friendly. Lunches on board, captain’s dinner and impromptu barbecue dinner on board were excellent. A good sail overall.

Average at best. The food was well below average and we could not dock at a port until the afternoon. If you like sitting on a ship with nothing to do but play on your phone and take a swim off the back, then it’s perfect. Otherwise do something else.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that some aspects of the experience, particularly the food, did not meet your expectations. We would, however, like to clarify that the schedule you experienced reflects the way our small-ship cruises are designed to operate. Ships generally depart in the morning, with time spent cruising and enjoying swim stops along the route, before arriving at the next destination in the early afternoon. The ship then remains in port overnight, giving guests the afternoon and evening to explore the town, enjoy activities and have dinner ashore at their own pace. We appreciate that this style of cruising may not suit everyone, but for many guests the combination of cruising, swim stops and extended time ashore is an important part of the experience. Thank you again for travelling with us and for sharing your feedback.
I was on the "Elegant" cruise on Romantic Star. If you request non-dairy, I hope you like boiled potatoes. If you're paying a single supplement, prepare to be disappointed. At about $5000 for 1 week I expected more than The Annoyed Server, The Angry Sous Chef, and The Bar Tender from Jeers. This is a bad trip for solos and even worse for onesies who don't drink much. I am not a foodie but found most meals weird and unpalatable, especially the village dinner. This has nothing to do with the ethnicity of the cuisine. The trip revolved around couples and wine tasting. Even though I have traveled solo many times and I was with a dozen other friends, I still felt blue from time to time as did some other solo travelers there. One of the perks of i and travel, which of this was not, is that staff learns your name caters to you on some level, and asks if you like, the food. Our tour manager Anita was a rock star. But could not make up for the disinterested staff and lackluster staff.
- Anonymous, 15/09/2026 00:57, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Firstly, we’re delighted to hear your wonderful comments about Anita, and we’ll be sure to pass these on to her. We’re sorry that your overall experience onboard Romantic Star did not meet your expectations. Having reviewed the feedback from this departure as a whole, guests generally rated their experience highly, so your 1-star rating does stand apart from the broader feedback received. While we understand that you booked independently and paid the single supplement, we would also like to clarify that you were travelling alongside a larger group of approximately 12 friends onboard, rather than travelling solo. Our Elegance cruises welcome guests travelling independently, as couples and as part of groups, and naturally the social dynamic between guests will vary from departure to departure. We appreciate that food is also a matter of personal preference and are sorry that the meals were not to your taste. Your comments regarding your dietary requirements and the service you experienced have also been shared with the relevant team. Thank you again for travelling with us, and particularly for recognising Anita’s efforts throughout your week.
We booked this sailing trip for the first week of September, paying £779, and overall I’d say it was a good trip for the price — but there are definitely some things I wish I’d known before booking. Arrival & accommodation We arrived and were greeted by a lovely host who showed us to our rooms below deck. This is probably the biggest thing I would flag for anyone booking. The rooms are very small, and the pictures online don’t really give you an idea of just how small they are. We were sharing a room with bunk beds, and there was no overhead space, so you couldn’t actually sit upright in the bed. We had read online that there was space underneath the beds for luggage, so we travelled with a suitcase expecting it to fit underneath. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough space. I spoke to the staff and initially felt that it was a bit of a “this is what it is” situation, but our tour host was very accommodating and offered us another room to use for our luggage. We were extremely grateful for this. In the end, I actually just stayed in the other room, which made more sense, and this wasn’t a problem. The rooms are also very dated and could definitely do with some TLC. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable either, and I wouldn’t describe the accommodation as luxurious in any way. That said, we managed and spent very little time in the room because we were out enjoying the destinations. Another issue was towels. The packing list we received said towels would be provided and that we didn’t need to bring our own. Once onboard, we discovered that standard ships apparently don’t provide them, according to the website. This was conflicting information and obviously too late to resolve once we were already there. Again, the host was very accommodating and provided us with bath towels, which we really appreciated. The sailing & destinations After lunch and the initial briefing, we headed off to explore our first destination. The recommendations from the host about where to go, what to see and where to eat were really helpful. The actual sailing experience was fantastic. The swim stops were a real highlight, and stopping at different places gave us plenty of opportunities to explore and experience as much as possible. We had enough time in each destination to do our own thing, which we really enjoyed. One thing to be aware of is that the engine is noisy. On our first morning, it woke me at around 6am. I went looking for a coffee, only to discover that coffee wasn’t available until breakfast at 8:30am. Again, the staff were very kind and made me one, but it’s worth knowing if you’re an early riser! We didn’t take part in the group dinners or organised activities because we preferred to explore independently and partying wasn’t really our priority. This wasn’t an issue at all. The host was very accommodating and happy to give us recommendations and information about each destination. One of the original stops was changed because of personal circumstances affecting the captain. The replacement destination was lovely, but it’s worth knowing that the itinerary isn’t necessarily set in stone, so don’t get too attached to the places shown when booking. Food The food was another positive. I wouldn’t say the food we received looked quite like the pictures on the website, but it was still really enjoyable and delicious. Breakfast had a good variety — cereals, yoghurt, fruit, meats, cheeses and eggs prepared differently each day. Lunch was three courses and could include things like crisps and dips, wraps, a really tasty carbonara, followed by cake, ice cream or another baked dessert. There was plenty of choice and we were never left hungry. The staff The staff were lovely throughout the trip — friendly, chatty, helpful and very accommodating. Nothing seemed too much trouble when we had questions or needed something. Our particular trip was relatively quiet, with around 15 people onboard, and we were told previous trips had been much livelier. Personally, I think we were lucky with the smaller group. The boat can apparently sleep up to 32 people, but I honestly can’t imagine 32 people being particularly comfortable in the available space. With 15, it felt like enough. The tipping experience The one thing that really left a sour taste for me was the tipping at the end of the trip. We were reminded several times throughout the holiday about tipping, including through the WhatsApp group, and were told that envelopes would be available for tips for the tour guide and boat staff. The suggested amounts were also mentioned. The day before leaving, we had to settle our bar bill between 2–3pm, as well as pay the €40 tax that had to be added. When I went into the dining area to pay, there were two very visible tip boxes showing how much money was being put into them. While I was paying my bar bill, the lady then pointed out the tip boxes and asked about the tips directly. For me, this felt quite pressured and awkward, particularly with several members of staff also in the dining room at the time. I completely understand that tipping is an important part of the industry and that staff work hard, but having it repeatedly mentioned throughout the trip and then being asked directly, with the tip boxes in front of you, made me feel uncomfortable. I came away feeling a little disappointed that this was how the trip ended. I would much rather have felt that tipping was completely voluntary and left to the individual’s discretion without the repeated reminders and direct approach. Overall Giving this trip a star rating is actually quite difficult because the different parts of the experience vary so much. The boat itself would be around 3/5 — it is very dated, the cabins are extremely small and it definitely needs some renovation. The staff were 4/5 — genuinely lovely, helpful and accommodating. The food was 4/5 — good variety and enjoyable meals. But the destinations and sailing experience were the real reason this trip was worth it. Being able to sail between different places, swim in beautiful spots and have plenty of time to explore made the holiday. For £779 in the first week of September, I think overall we got good value for money. You definitely get what you pay for, though, and I would recommend going into it knowing that this is not a luxury sailing experience. The boat is basic and dated, the cabins are tiny, and there are a few things where the information provided before booking could be clearer. If you’re looking for a more affordable sailing adventure, are happy to compromise on accommodation and want to prioritise seeing different places, then I think it’s a great option. Just go prepared for the small cabins, bring your expectations down regarding the boat, and enjoy the destinations — because that’s where this trip really shines.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the sailing experience and destinations, and particularly appreciate your 4 star ratings for both our staff and the food onboard. We also appreciate your 3 star rating and feedback regarding the ship itself. As you mentioned, this is not a luxury sailing experience; your booking was on one of our Standard category ships, which is the most budget-friendly option within our Navigator cruises and offers more basic accommodation and amenities. Showering towels are not included within this category, as outlined in our Pre-Departure Information. For guests looking for a higher level of comfort, we offer ship categories with higher-quality amenities and additional inclusions, at a higher price point - such as the Ensuite and Premier ships. We’re pleased that overall you felt the trip represented good value for money and that the destinations and sailing experience were the real highlights of your week. Thank you again for travelling with us!
The accommodations and service were great. The food was a little questionable. The crew were all very helpful, especially Klara

Hi, just wanted to say that whilst the holiday destinations were excellent and the boat and crew generally upto the job, the food on board was way below the standard I would expect for a trip of this nature. This was a generally held opinion of the guests onboard to the extent that it spoilt an otherwise agreeable experience. Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the destinations visited and that you were generally happy with the ship and crew throughout your trip. We are, however, sorry to hear that the food onboard did not meet your expectations and that this impacted your experience. The onboard food was reviewed, and we have since received some excellent feedback from guests travelling aboard Esperanza, particularly regarding the food, which we have been pleased to see. Thank you again for travelling with us and for taking the time to share your experience.
We had a blast! Boat was great, met wonderful people and weather was perfect! Only criticism was the food. Just ok but overall amazing!

Boat was good.Food was mediocre. Lunch was too big, prefer lighter fare. Cruise director was great.
- Donna, 08/09/2026 09:13, Travelled with Friend/s
Very good. Mario was a great Skipper. Easy and fun attitude. We were 2 couples, there was plenty of room. The boat was good, although I was surprised there were no solar panels. As a result we were pretty much forced to go to a marina at least every second night. The water and the swim stops in small bays were absolutely beautiful and fun. Sail Croatia was super easy to deal with from start to finish. It would be nice if they had a place to store our bags on embarkation day for a couple of hours. Checkout at most places is 11am , and the boat is only available later. The only option is someone stays with the luggage or pay a private company that charges 6 euros. All in all a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Sail Croatia.
- Donald, 07/09/2026 05:55, Travelled with Friend/s
Thank you for your 4-star review, Donald! We’re so pleased you had a great experience overall, enjoyed the beautiful swim stops, and especially your time with Mario as your Skipper. It’s also wonderful to hear you found the booking experience easy from start to finish. Night Sky does not have solar panels or an onboard generator, with the full spec of each vessel available on our website. For guests wishing to anchor overnight while still having access to electricity and air-conditioning, we recommend booking a larger vessel equipped with an onboard generator. Our office at ACI Split Marina is quite small, so unfortunately we’re unable to store luggage ahead of check-in. As you mentioned, luggage storage facilities are available nearby for a small fee, allowing guests to explore Split before boarding. Thank you again for recommending Sail Croatia, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
It was awesome we had a lot of fun, swim spots were awesome, the towns/cities were great. The crew were really easy to get along with and served quality tasting food. Only bad thing was the condition of the boat, it was clean don’t get me wrong, but the rooms were twice as hot as it was outside, (yes it was advertised there was no A/C) so there was no way to cool down and most people ending up sleeping outside on the deck during the night not using their rooms. And the shower amenities were pretty rough. We paid extra for an upper deck room thinking it would be cooler and less noisy, but it was the complete opposite, rooms downstairs were cooler and less noisy. I think if we had photos of the amenities and knew the condition of the rooms on the exact boat we were on, we wouldn’t have paid as much or gone at all. But don’t let that distract you from what made it worth while, all the people we met on the boat from guest to crew was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Thank you for your 4-star review! We’re so pleased to hear you had an awesome time overall and enjoyed the swim stops, destinations, food, and especially the crew and fellow travellers onboard. We appreciate your feedback regarding the ship facilities. You booked our Standard ship category, which is our most affordable option for budget-conscious travellers and features bunk-bed cabins, shared bathroom facilities and no air-conditioning. Images and specifications for each of our ship categories are available on our website to help highlight the differences between them, allowing guests to make an informed decision before booking with us. We also note in our FAQs under “What is the difference between Above and Lower Deck cabins?” that Lower Deck cabins can often be cooler and quieter than Above Deck cabins. We completely understand that everyone has different comfort preferences, and based on your feedback, we’d recommend considering one of our higher ship categories, such as Ensuite or Premier, for any future trip with us. Thanks again for travelling with us, and it’s great to hear that the people you met and experiences along the way made the trip so worthwhile!
Overall great. Brilliant Tour leader with Dino. Fabulous knowledge and nothing he couldn’t do even answering dumb questions by some 😂 Air conditioning was an issue but overall fabulous experience.

The Sail Croatia staff, Illona and Emma were 10 stars, hands down, the best guides. Emma was very knowledgeable and was so much more than a guide.. Her passion was evident. The ship was clean and had ample space to relax while on board. The dining area was hot and stuffy, to the point of making people nauseous. The sailing staff were also fantastic. Daymon, Tony, and Leon were great. Phillip was our bartender/waiter and he was also amazing and very personable. The only neegatives - the smoking areas on the boat are upwind of where we would try to relax or have a cup of coffee.. For non-smokers, its quite annoying and frustrating to not be able to breathe the clean Adriatic Sea air. The other negative was the food. Although it was good in tasted, I had different expectations - at times it was heavy with gravies; also when it is 90 degrees F outside, no one wants hot soup for lunch in the hottest part of the day. Boris was very kind and his desserts were magical.

Thank you so much for such a lovely review! It’s lovely to hear how much you enjoyed your time with us, and especially that Illona and Emma were such a highlight of your experience. We’ll be sure to share your wonderful comments with them, as well as Daymon, Tony, Leon, Phillip and Boris - it’s clear the whole team made your trip extra special! We’re also delighted you enjoyed the ship, its cleanliness and the space to relax and take in the beautiful Adriatic. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback on the onboard environment and dining experience, and we’ll be sure to pass your comments on to the relevant teams. We hope to welcome you back on board for another Croatian adventure in the future!
The yacht was beautiful but the crew did not seem happy to be there. There were no smiles from the crew members and very little interaction with the guests. One sailor paid no attention to guests even when spoken to directly. The cruise director was somewhat confusing in discussing the next days itinerary. Swim stops were beautiful. More and newer swim toys would have been appreciated. Noodles were crumbling and breaking. On the plus side, the food was amazing and beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef and sous chef. The ships air conditioning was not adequate for the hot temperatures at night. Many had trouble sleeping as the a/c was turned off. The Captain's dinner could only be described as "sweaty". Transfers were well handled. Overall I had a good time with a great group of travelers.

Holiday overall was great. Only comments would be to possibly offer other options than just clubs every single night. Everyone understood we were doing a drinking cruise, however seven nights of clubs in a row is a lot! I would’ve loved to have clean linens or at least clean towels offered to us, given that being below deck nothing dried and became very gross mildewy smelling. Lastly, if they would just include what they were feeding us each day, I think that would be helpful. I didn’t have many problems with the food, however being hungover sea sick and then handed mystery food made it a little harder to trust. Just announcing what the meal is would’ve made it a lot better! Otherwise great trip, lots of fun. Just wish swim spots were longer!

Overall was really good. Many aspect of the trip were perfect. The tour guides really made it amazing, especially Cal. Very friendly and funny, set up fun stuff for us to do as well outside of the rides. The boat is where the problem was. Rooms, AM, pillows, bedding were all extremely subpar for what we paid for. I’ve had better accommodations on camping trips. I would rebook with this company again but not on the same boat.

Thank you for sharing your 4 star review! We’re so pleased to hear that you had an overall great experience and that Cal in particular helped make your trip so memorable. It’s wonderful to hear that his friendly and fun approach added so much to your time both on and off the rides - we’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to them! We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the vessel and onboard accommodation. We understand that guests have different preferences and comfort levels when it comes to accommodation, which is why we offer different product categories. For guests looking for a higher level of comfort, our Luxury Cycle product offers a higher-quality ship and enhanced onboard accommodation, so this would be the option we’d recommend for you on a future trip. We’re delighted to hear you would choose to travel with us again, and we’d love the opportunity to welcome you back for another adventure!
My holiday was a memorable experience with my best friend, we had many laughs with new friends and crew members. Marin was amazing, very friendly, professional and on-time, he made sure the day ran very smoothly. I would highly recommend sail Croatia navigator cruise if you are a young individual wanting party and make new friends.

Excellent holiday and meet some great people from around the world . Cruise manager was excellent with great communication regarding when and what was happening. The girl that cleaned my cabin was outstanding as well, and pleasant to talk with and always smiling. The remainder of the crew were less so . They failed to acknowledge you most times and were not interactive at all. We would have spent more money on bar if the staff had been better trained in the hospitality industry. .

Excellent time! Vedran is great tour leader! This boat is Family owned and immaculate! All staff are family and they care deeply about the boat and assuring guests have a great time. The only reason I gave this a 4-star rating is that the air conditioning in the cabins just could not keep up with the boiling outside temperature. Most everyone had issues with the air conditioning. Also, in my opinion, the lighting in the bathrooms is not sufficient. PRO Tip 1: Evidently the cabins below deck stay cooler than those above deck PRO Tip 2: Bring clothing that is quick drying and can be washed in the sink or shower. There are ship bars outside the cabins on the upper deck where you can hang them to dry. Clothes pins are provided. PRO Tip 3: Do not bring anything fancy, cool light weight fabrics are best. PRO Tip 4: A portable travel fan will come in handy. PRO Tip 5: Buy Euro at first island stop for less than getting it at home if not your currency.

I had a great time, the girls on my boat were lovely and we had lots of fun! The swim spots were beautiful, the itinerary was cool, I loved vis island and stari grad, and even when some things went wrong our skipper was able to change the itinerary, overall really great. Some feedback I have is for a bit more communication from the sail Croatia website when it says breakfast provided I was expecting that meant the skipper made us a filling breakfast but it was just the bottom shelf of the fridge that was communal with some ham salami tomato and eggs plus muesli and bread, and some days we had no eggs so I felt like I was scavenging for breakfast. I’m not sure if I missed this part of information but it was a bit disappointing. I think it would also be great to mention that each port has a shower, as I booked the ensuite cabin but didn’t even use the tiny shower cause there were proper showers at each port, I felt a little ripped off cause I thought on board shower was my only option.

We had an amazing experience. The crew and Josko were great. The rooms were great spacious and clean. The boat was very clean and staff was attentive. Couple suggestions would be if there was a. Way to keep the breakfast hot as it was cold by the time we ate. Be nice to have. Coffee through out the day and it be available earlier. The plants on the tables were nice but to big. When paying our bar bill it was difficult as we never saw or get emailed a receipt to show the breakdown. That might be something we should get before leaving a printed one. The bar attendants were so fun. The lunches were amazing. Only meal was the veal that was not good. Swim stops were beautiful. And staff was great setting everything up for us.to enjoy the swim spots. Josko was great helping us find the best places to eat and answered other questions we had. If it was a full boat I don’t think the hot tub would have worked for 36 passengers. We were lucky to only have 16 on board. Thank you to all

We enjoyed the ship staff and meals; the ship could have been cooler in cabin but staff tried to make it as comfortable as possible. The floor of the ship needed some work but overall a great time!

Sail Croatia was such an unreal experience. We had the most fun week and met so many new friends. The staff on our boat the Mlini were so helpful and accomodating, and our host nour was the best. She made the week so fun and smooth and not stressful for us at all. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun time and people who enjoy partying!

My experience on Tuna boat was mainly attributable to Toni, our rep. Toni was highly informative about the history and activities of each destination. His organisation of group dinners really helped for us to bond and make friends. Not only was he a rep, but he was also a great friend to all of us. I give all my praise to Toni!

I did really enjoy my holiday however I and the rest of my boat were a bit confused why we, as a party boat, would dock and stay in towns with either no clubs or where noise/time restrictions impacted our time and experience greatly. Our crew on big blue were always so fun and gracious. The rep, Diego, put lots of effort to get our group bonding by organising family dinners and always showed up for us, whether that was searching the town for place with working gelato, taking people to multiple pharmacy trips as well as the hospitals.

Average The biat was not like advertised and had many issues My too bunk was not working so we had to share a double bed, the bathroom had lots of plumbing issues including smell coming from taps and brown water leaks in bedrooms. We didnt even get to go to hvar wich was one of the main stops and instead didnt dock and anchored in the ocean for the whole day and no one was allowed to get off and no solution was made.

Thank you for taking the time to review us and share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. After reviewing our internal reports, we were unable to find any record of concerns regarding a leak or any plumbing issues in your cabin. As outlined in our pre-departure information, we have a clear onboard reporting process to ensure that any issues can be addressed as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, as these concerns were not reported to your Onboard Representative during the trip, our team was not given the opportunity to investigate or resolve them while you were onboard. Our Captains work hard to provide the best possible experience based on weather and port conditions and at times, the itinerary and port locations may need to change during the week as advertised. Upon checking with our Operations team, we were pleased that even though due to port availability you were docked in Stari Grad, a bus transfer to Hvar Town was organised giving everyone free time to explore Hvar Town. We do appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback, as it helps us continue to review and improve our services.
Excellent holiday with good room and great food. Staff were helpful and pleasant The only criticism is that the last day sailing was in Split and felt as though the holiday had ended 1 day early. I would have preferred to visit another island.
- Tracy, 17/07/2026 18:04, Travelled with Friend/s
Sail Croatia was the worst experience. Our top deck was closed the whole week so there wasn’t enough chairs for people to tan during the day. My food had hair in it almost everyday and my room leaked and my whole bag with all my clothing got wet.

6 of us sailed on the Almissa the first week of July. Right from the start we were greeted with friendly staff members who met all of our needs and answered all of our questions. Hana was our guide/host for the week and she was amazing. She always checked in on passengers daily asking them what they had done the day before and what the plans were. She gave us a play by play of what to expect each day and answered questions and gave suggestions in a timely manner. She was outstanding. The boat was extremely clean and was big enough for all thirty plus passengers to find space if needed. The staff was friendly and assisted whenever needed. The food was also the best food I have had on the trip - even better than the restaurants. The pace of the trip was great. The only reason I did not give five stars, is that I wish drinks were included in the price or that a drink package could be bought. I would definitely suggest bringing snacks on board as they were not provided throughout.

Had so much fun with a great bunch of people. Captain + crew were awesome. The facilities on the premium navigator cruise are actually really decent and surprisingly spacious. Worth the extra money, especially for AC. Side note; you will end up paying as much as the initial cost so be aware. However many of the daily activities are worth. Shout out Lauren for being an awesome rep.

What an amazing experience sailing around the beautiful islands of Croatia. Our trip started in Slpit & end ended in Dubrovnik. We stopped at 5 amazing islands along the way. The boat guide Andro was incredibly knowledgeable about each island’s history & what it had to offer and gave suggestions on activities and restaurants along the way. The crew were great however my only suggestion would be it lacked a female’s touch (all male crew) 😅. Eg room cleaning & also lack of salad at lunch time with massive serving of 3 course meal at lunch (the men very happy). I would highly recommend Sail Croatia it definitely exceeded our expectations.

Varying (hour by hour) ship schedule made it difficult to fully plan/enjoy. Schedule was blamed on docking constraints which were not immediately apparent unless line was saving on fees. Lack of opportunities to swim off ship was also disappointing. Coffee/tea should’ve been available free during all waking hours. More pillows desperately needed. Staff was appropriate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you found our crew to be appropriate, and we appreciate your comments on the overall experience. As our vessels operate within busy working harbours, daily schedules can vary depending on port availability, harbour authority requirements, and operational considerations. While this can occasionally impact time in port or swimming opportunities, these decisions are made to ensure the smooth and safe operation of each cruise. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding the availability of complimentary tea and coffee, additional pillows, and swimming stops. Guest feedback such as yours is valuable, and we'll be sure to share your comments with the relevant teams as we continue to review and enhance our onboard experience. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on board again in the future.
Excellent, sail was awesome, Timmy was an excellent host and guide we loved him. Room down stairs smelt that’s all

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Was impressed with the Olimp: impeccably maintained, everything gleaming, spick-and-span, and the whole crew were friendly & helpful, and Vedran is a star organiser! Our lunches were all delicious. .The breakfast buffet was sufficient except for the "orange juice" which neither looked nor tasted as if it had been near a real orange. Breakfast was too short, and too early. Should last until at least 10am, Also I'd have liked the option to eat on the outside deck. When at sea who wants to be in an enclosed space.? The highlight of the trip was swimming. But I wanted more & longer swim stops. Most were only 1 hour - not enough to enjoy repeatedly jumping into that gorgeous turquoise sea! I'd have also appreciated more time actually sailing, not moored in a port. The expeditions were at the hottest time of day, so I mostly opted out and relaxed on the ship's cushions in the breeze - that upper deck lounging area was a perfect touch of luxury!
- Alix, 30/06/2026 19:54, Travelled with Friend/s
Not for those that want relaxation and quiet strolling mixed with biking. Not enough time to swim and stroll between biking or even during biking times. No fluff, that’s for sure.

The Sail Croatia trip was great. Beautiful swim stops, interesting fellow travelers, and no shortage of food or drinks. Good value for money, and leaves you wanting more time in Croatia. A few things I would change: The amount of time spent in port towns. We were really only in a port during the late afternoons and at night, and it would have been really nice to have more daytime to explore the islands and towns. There's a lot of food waste on the boat. Every lunch had three courses, and they were huge and quite heavy. One or two courses, or the ability to opt in or out of certain courses, would reduce food waste. Also, the house wine on the boat was from two huge plastic jugs on the floor behind the bar. It was super sweet and undrinkable. It would have been nice to have the option for a glass of decent house wine, instead of having to purchase whole bottles.
- Amy, 28/06/2026 18:57, Travelled with Friend/s
We had the most amazing time on sail Croatia! Our trip manager was lovely! My only comments would be that on the trip itself there was a lot of hidden costs (bus rides paid in cash, taxes, tips, etc) so we spend significantly more than planned.

Thank you for your 4 star review and for joining us on a Sail Croatia cruise. We're delighted to hear that you had an amazing time and that your Onboard Representative helped make your experience so enjoyable. We appreciate your feedback regarding additional costs. Information about the €40 Local Payment is provided prior to booking and is visible on guests' Online Accounts, payment receipts, FAQs and Pre-Departure Information. Any additional transfers, such as buses or water taxis are highlighted on the website itinerary to help guests budget accordingly. While tipping is entirely optional, we do provide guidance for guests who wish to tip within our Pre-Departure Information. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you onboard again in the future.
Bloody brilliant!!!!!! Nikola was the most amazing rep we could have asked for! So kind, caring and knowledgeable. Very thorough and organised, always going above and beyond to make us feel safe and looked after. He gave us lots of recommendations and suggestions which made our trip even better! An amazing tour guide, friend and host! Shoutout to Darren & Nathan for the amazing meals and banter! My friends and I will miss the sail Croatia team dearly.

Our holiday was great, and our rep Vicko was very good . The boat was comfortable and clean, the food was excellent . My only complaint is that on Sunday we were thrown off one and a half hours. Before our airportbtransport arrived In a heat;of 33 and told to go to a cafe down the road which was closed and the seats wired up which with luggage is unacceptable. Caroline Cornell

We had a great time on our sail and cycle cruise thanks to Marin and Josip and our crew. Marin was our guide and Josip was our cycling guide and they were a great team-professional and very qualified yet warm and engaging. The support we received from these guys both on and off the bike was really amazing. I feel as though we got really lucky to have them assigned to our group. I took a star away because our boat-the Dionis-was very worn out. There were only 8 plastic loungers strewn about on the top deck and two were broken and there were 27 of us on board. We kept seeing other Sail Croatia boats with a full deck of chairs with cushions and I still can’t understand the disparity. Also, my husband and I ended up with a below deck cabin. It was dark, smelly, and very damp. Even the sheets at night were damp. I feel as though the trip could have been a perfect five stars if Sail Croatia had given more attention to the accommodations on the boat.

The actual holiday was wonderful however the downside was overprice wine and beer with small portions and not very good wine Having to pay bar bill in cash was inconvenient and bad

The seven night cruise in Croatia was an enjoyable experience. We saw different islands, daily swims and enjoyed the staff. The food was good and was typical Croatian food, lots of meat. If you are vegetarian they will accommodate you. If you like to float on a float during the swim stops bring your own floatation as there are limited choices.. Couple things I would change are the mattresses on the beds. They were very lumpy and hard on my body. I think more towels should be given to the passengers as they only do one exchange for the entire week.

Great 7 days on board Columbo visiting and cycling a beautiful selection of islands including Hvar, Vis, Korčula, Mljet and Sipan. Always felt we were in safe hands with our calm leader Ivaniča and ever smiling guide Olja.

Sail Croatia, who I have used before were excellent in all areas, keeping us informed, before joining, welcoming us on arrival and making sure we had had a great time, when we returned. Unfortunately, it turns out that the boat that we had chartered, Rookie, was actually owned by another company, Ultra Sailing, and that Sail Croatia, this time, were just the booking agents. Unlike Sail Croatia, the greeting that we received from Ultra, was very cold and we felt immediately unwelcome by the woman, who checked us in, who shouldn’t be in a role, in front of customers. We had the same experience, with the same woman, on our return. Despite this, we had a fantastic week, on the water, in this beautiful part of the world. Shame, we would use Sail Croatia, again, but will never return to ACI Marina in Split, again
- Ian, 11/06/2026 12:18, Travelled with Friend/s
Loved biking in Croatia and seeing many islands. The guides were great. The boat did not have any comfortable out door lounge chairs, many were broken, no cushions. The bedroom pillows were terrible and the bed was very hard.

Fun holiday. Maybe 1/2 days too long. Alcohol on board very expensive. Breakfasts were very much the same each day. Felt leaders could have done more - like dinners out on town - to build comraderey. Hikes seemed like last minute thoughts. Leader took few breaks, not a lot of stopping to explain interesting facts. But maybe there weren’t many. 😬 all in all fun , beautiful Boat and great crew

I enjoyed the cruise itinerary and the ship was very nice. Unfortunately other cruise attendees were obnoxious and inconsiderate. the ship staff seemed to favor the needs of these individuals, making the overall experience unpleasant at times. I chose an Elegance cruise expecting a different environment. Even other cruise ships were complaining about our “party ship”

Had a fantastic time on Sail Croatia biking cruise. The guides and boat crew were wonderful. We were lucky and had gorgeous weather all but one day. Seeing the different islands by bike was truly special and was awesome to see so much of each island.

Overall my holiday was incredible. The itinerary of the trip was well thought out and the places we visited absolutely beautiful. Our guide Josip was so friendly, inviting and informative. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience on board as well as in every town we visited. I really appreciated how he involved himself in the group and was a central part to everyone getting to know each other so well. The crew of our ship TVRDI were also a highlight, they were friendly, helpful and hard working and we all left feeling so grateful to have got to know them. My only negative experience on sail was the pricing of drinks, activities and recommended restaurants. As young people this experience is already expensive and while I believe the sail itself is well worth it there could be adjustments made to make it more affordable. I would’ve loved to have free or decently priced walking tours included in each place to learn more about the history, culture, and stories.

The sailing holiday was very good, the boat , OLIMP, was great and the size of the cabin brilliant. Service was very good by the staff and Dino was quite good as the co-ordinator. The only issue was with the payment of the bar. tab at the end of the trip and what cards that were accepted. A few things should be made clearer at the start of the trip so as not to have them becoming an issue on the last night. I will be recommending this trip to fiends for sure.

Overall a wonderful experience. The hides were superb, rides were great and scenery unbelievable. A couple of drawbacks - there is a schedule to rides so not as many opportunities to stop and see things or swim etc along the way as I hoped. And did get a little sea sick at times. Also would have preferred a buffet so you could serve yourself the amount of food you could eat. 3 course lunches were sometimes a lot.

Croatia's coastline is simply beautiful and the cities of Dubrovnik and Split were well worth the visit. The smaller islands were interesting and pretty if missing cultural interest, but thanks to our wine-themed cruise, there was always something to see/do. The crew and especially our guide Lola were cheerful, helpful and fun (my husband and I were traveling with a solo friend, so with 3 at our table, we were able to share a lot of meals with Lola). We've done a number of cruises in the past, from 120 passengers up to about 2000, and unfortunately I'm prone to seasickness, so on that front the trip was not great - I definitely appreciated our captain's decision to skip one island due to rough seas! The smaller size ship also meant that our cabin was much smaller than what we've experienced before and there was really nowhere other than the dining area for people to gather together when it was raining which was unfortunate. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

I'm sorry I cannot give a 5 star review. The great things about the ship was the chef, the crew and the facilities. All great - clean, organized, well run. My disappointment was in the lack of excursions on the islands between Dubrovnik and Split. I thought that we should have some kind of introduction to each island and short walking tour each time we docked. Everyday was a swim day and because the water was too cold to swim I had hoped that an adjustment would be made to the schedule for an alternate activity. Perhaps dock earlier to give us some time off the boat. There was too much sitting around time. From breakfast, through lunch there was nothing to do if you did not swim (& no one did). We did not disembark til 2 pm. Our tour dir. did her job perfunctorily and made arrangements as requested, She was not as visible or involved with our group. Although she said she has been doing this for 4 years she came off as unsure and inexperienced.

Intimate (but not crowded) specialty cruise: Best of Croatia Wine with 32 passengers on board beautifully crafted and built elegance passenger ship guided by an exceptional Captain Gordon, a team of gracious crew: warm welcome every moment of the day by Luce, Pamela in the salon, delicious meals by Chef Frans and Aline, comfortable and spotless cleaned cabin by Emma, expeditiously attentive and hardworking by sailors, Josip and Josip, and a kind, clam expertise of the cruise manager, Lola; who is always presence with daily planned itineraries to many of the best Croatia wine venues as well as attuned to all passengers' needs and requests.

The tour guide Visco was excellent and also all the crew. The food was lovely. The boat is a little old, but. Was still great.

The cruise was lovely & scenic. I wish we had more time at the ports, the time spent at the swim stops & lunch seemed a little too long. Staff were nice & very professional. Ship was well maintained & very clean.

We were 4 people that joined an existing group of 24 people that were all connected with each other. We were fortunate in that we all got along great. They were great cheerleaders for those of us not riding e-bikes. Our ride leaders, Ivica and Mario, did an amazing job of planning our rides each day, adjusting routes for the weather and our group's skill level. The crew on the boat were very friendly and helpful. Extra shout out to Christiana, David and our chef (for adjusting meals to meet my vegetarian dietary needs)

Loved the facilities of this boat and the relaxing schedule of daily swimming stops

We loved the bike and sail it was beautiful, fun, great biking and sights to see, it was absolutely gorgeous!! The food on the boat was incredible and the guides on the boat and the Bike ride were the Best. Tonka and Ema made our trip what it was.
- Lori, 16/10/2025 00:23, Travelled with Friend/s
Our tour guides, Ivan and Lucy, were fantastic! Ivan led the bike tours, keeping us safe and informed about the challenges of the daily routes, while never losing his sense of humor. Our group ranged from seasoned cyclists to relative newbies, and we rode a range of bicycles, but Ivan identified routes that were both challenging, but manageable, and incredibly scenic for all. Lucy complemented Ivan with her extensive knowledge of the history of each island we visited, leaving us all al little bit more enriched by the experience. She also gave us daily dining and touring recommendations, which allowed us to explore the islands a little bit on our own. They were the dynamic duo, for sure!

The captain and crew were great. The boat was clean and well kept. We did have some difficulty with enough hot water for showers, but resolved with timing. The guides were excellent. Cheerful, enthusiastic and professional. The food was the reason for the four stars, and maybe I’m being unfair. The cook prepared meals for 31 guests in a broom closet size space and the budget was probably pretty tight. The food was plentiful and had good variety. The only complaint I had, was that the meat was consistently overcooked, especially the fish. It certainly wouldn’t discourage me from booking another trip with this company, or this crew.

We had a wonderful week sailing with Sail Croatia and would happily recommend them to others. The entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. Our boat was ready on time and in great condition, and the team provided helpful assistance both before we set off and when we were leaving the dock. Their communication was excellent. Before the trip, any message I sent was answered promptly with all the details we needed. This continued during our journey. When we saw a "bura" wind in the forecast, we messaged them for advice. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and gave us clear steps to take. They also went out of their way to help with a small request, providing an extra coffee machine for the boat when we asked, which was much appreciated. A particular highlight was Karolina, who personally stopped by to check in on us and make sure everything was going well. It was a nice, personal touch that showed they care about their guests. Highly recommend Sail Croatia!

Great staff and itinerary. A little more cleaning - railings and doors should be everyday. Sanitizer in dining room and public spaces. Half our group got sick which was NOT fun. Probably not their fault. All else was excellent. Their bikes were well Maintained and it was beautiful.
- Lane, 06/10/2025 20:38, Travelled with Friend/s
After 9 months of planning I was eager to embark upon our biking excursion. Ivan an Lucy were exceptionally good guides - offering humour and historical context. The crew were wonderful and the food was delicious.

We had the best vacation on the Olimp with 10 of our friends. The boat is beautiful, cabins are modern and bathrooms are great. There is plenty of space (in the sun or in the shade) to relax and enjoy the passing scenery. Captain George and the Olimp crew were fantastic, making sure we were safe, happy and well feed & ‘watered’! The islands we visited were lovely and we all enjoyed wondering round and exploring them. Daily swim stops were fun and locations were always very picturesque.
- Nicola, 05/10/2025 08:54, Travelled with Friend/s
Martina and Mio were great. The Guide from Sail Croatia was a little tightly wound and confrontational. The food was just okay, and that’s probably generous. The worst part was all the noise on the boat. Spend ten bucks and put felt sliders on the chairs in the saloon. Seriously. The chair sliding noise killed all the cabins right below it. The drink prices were stupid for what you get. The food was very forgettable. But the boat and the crew were good!
- Jason, 01/10/2025 19:49, Travelled with Friend/s
My product ? Your product. Guides were great, boat crew was great ! Communication was fantastic ! All logistics great! Breakfast needs some help. Lunches not great. Need to rename the game- no sailing whatsoever. Bike Croatia is more appropriate.
- Robert, 01/10/2025 08:29, Travelled with Friend/s
Cycle guides and Mali Luka staff were all fun and helpful. They all approached their jobs with professionalism and pride. Evan and Ilona took good care of us and shared necessary safety tips in addition to some great stories and history. We had lots of fun. Suggestions to make the experience better: Soap / shampoo in the showers. Towels for boat swims (These are items that don’t work in carryon luggage. Include cycle jerseys in the pkg rate.
- Heather, 30/09/2025 17:21, Travelled with Friend/s
We traveled with a group of friends. This cruise perfectly loans itself to a friendly and fun experience. The crew was fantastic, in particular Mio and Martina. They made our experience so much more fun and their attention gave a much higher level of service than expected. The slow progression through the islands felt luxurious and calming. I never felt a moment of motion sickness. The islands and coastline are absolutely stunning. The cabins are good sized, the showers had good water pressure and temperature. The bar was well stocked and available when we wanted it. The only weak area of improvement is the meals. The long lunch is lovely but some of the dishes were not delicious. The daily salad bar was good as was the breakfast. We would have preferred a longer breakfast time. It was early and too short.

Fun trip biking on beautiful islands. Boat crew were very friendly and helpful and kept the boat in pristine condition. Cabins were small and basic. Better bedding and more towel changes would enhance the experience.
- Lisa, 29/09/2025 04:46, Travelled with Friend/s
All the staff were terrific, especialy or tour directors Tonka and Ema but also the rest of the Zaramaris staff. Food was wonderful. I wish the ship could have provided a shower curtain and some clean linens/towels.. 4/5 Stars

My husband and I loved the itinerary, and all the friends we made on board. 7 days of stunning swim stops, time to read a book or play a game of dice. Dino was a great help advising and setting up activities at each stop. The food was great! The boat is a bit dated, but I feel it was a fantastic value for the price.
- Becky, 24/09/2025 01:29, Travelled with Friend/s
Croatia is scenic and the cycling was good. The crew of the Princeza Diana was terrific- they worked very hard and were friendly and happy to interact with guests. The food was absolutely top notch- I'd recommend this trip for the food alone. Our guides were only average based on multiple previous cycling trips in Europe. They were pleasant enough but seemed disconnected from their jobs. Perhaps it was late in the season and they had mentally moved on.

Excellent guides and beautiful destinations. Hiking trails fitted the group and if not alternatives were on offer.
- Bjarni , 22/09/2025 05:50, Travelled with Friend/s
Dora & Lola were great guides, They were informative and lots of fun . Princess Diana is a lovely boat , cabins clean and well equipped . Quality of food excellent although maybe a bit too much!
- Sarah, 22/09/2025 04:58, Travelled with Friend/s
The guides Ivan and Lucija were very knowledgeable and organized. We alway knew the plan and they provided great local info and recommendations. The food was well prepared and tastey. The coffee was good but cold. Maybe replace the coffee maker with a better style that keeps the urn warmer. The only downside was our ship was charged after all our travel plans were made. The upper bunk mattress was small and uncomfortable.
- George , 20/09/2025 16:35, Travelled with Friend/s
Beautiful hike choices and Island locations. The Captain and his team were amazing and accommodated bad weather so that we still hiked and enjoyed the fair weather sailing. The food on Board was fantastic and Bruno was efficient and helpful. Our group would have preferred more swim time. Perhaps also, more time in Vis-maybe a second day there for more swim time, even worth losing one hike elsewhere. The hike to the Blaca Heritage monastery on Brac and the adventure was a lot of fun as well as a history lesson. We learned a lot!!! Blaca Heritage

Great biking- biking guides did a wonderful job with routes. And experiences on the various islands.. However I feel there should be more swimming time at the various locations we biked to ; instead we had to get back for lunch on the boat. It would have been better for sail Croatia to set up a lunch at the location we were at instead of us going back to the boat. Lunches on the boat were too much/That they were full meals, rather than a lunch.

The week on the Morpheus was beautiful,, we enjoyed visiting Brac, Vis, and Korcula and Havar. We wish we could have sailed the boat more, only had two short times the boat sailed , rest of the time we motored. Unfortunately, we ordered two paddle boards for the week and the boards were of very poor quality and insufficient . Another issue was we were provided only one towel per person for the week , this seemed insufficient for a whole week on the boat .
- Caron, 17/09/2025 19:23, Travelled with Friend/s
The cycling was fantastic, unfortunately due to air conditioning issues, the cabin experience was awful. It was hillier than expected, so unless you are a seasoned hill climber, opt for e bike.
- Tracie, 17/09/2025 08:57, Travelled with Friend/s
Overall the week aboard Morpheus was great. We had great service from the hostess Niki and Captain Christian had great suggestions for destinations and restaurants. The SUPs were not very good quality so check those and be sure to ask for more towels.

Lola was excellent as our tail end guide with good history comments along the way. For constructive criticism I would recommend that the up front lead guide (Srdan) go a bit slower so that we did not spread out into seperate pelotons with the later groups missing turns that Srdan made without stopping to allow the later groups to catch up.

The friends and lovely group of people we shared the experience with. Beautiful country. On the whole, a friendly crew aboard the ship.

Overall, I had a great time on our Sail Croatia experience, but Matea truly made it outstanding. Matea was knowledgeable, kind and fun. The cabins were small and did not have AC (which we knew when we signed up). We thought since it was September, it would be cool enough at night. Half of the nights were a good temperature, the other half were not. In the future, I would opt for a boat with AC in the cabins. Unfortunately, since we came at the end/after season some things were closed and not possible for my group to do. The swim stops were also a highlight of our trip and Sail Croatia provided a lot more breakfast food than we were expecting, the fridge was always stocked!

On our recently completed trip from Dabrovnic to Split for 7 days, Although the "Tempera" ship requires some strong maintenance repairs and surface repairs, the experience beyond that was incredible for a first time cruise guest on that size and style of a ship. Our Cruise Manager Sasha was the most friendly, knowledgeable management team member that leads the way in customer relations and makes all guests feel like a family member. The Captain and crew provide a constant team effort of providing services of any nature while at sea or when at dock daily. We were fortunate to have a dining room / bar drink service leader in "Max", his efforts exemplify professionalism customer service. The most valuable aspect of this specific cruise trip was the personal relationships built in a very short order of time (from day 1) of the other guests. This size of a ship and the areas of common use created an experience like no other, for the friendships that were created, we thank you.

Nicola (captain) and Ivana were great crew to guide us along the Croatian coast. They were attentive and flexible with our group of 9 and Ivana did a great job preparing meals after shopping for us daily. The island stops were beautiful places to visit!

The biking was the highlight of the sail. The food was good. The lower rooms could use better ventilation. The rooms were very damp. Staff were accomadating

This tour is awesome for those who wish to explore the Croatian Isles. E-Bikes are the way to go due to the hilly terrain and if you want to enjoy the scenery. If you really want a challenge then choose road bikes. Summer months are very hot so choose wisely. The itinerary is very good and the staff are awesome. Thank you to the crew and Miranda and Andro for a great week. Cabins are not cleaned daily, only every third day so plan accordingly as this is not communicated. Food was very good, but very salty. George was awesome and very accommodating to all guests. I would recommend this tour.

Andre and Sonja were amazing guides and very caring. Both took time to listen and oversea our needs and educate us through the cruise. Kudos to the captain for safety, skills and marine tactics. Very enjoyable trip!

The guides were well informed, handled the large group well, and never left anyone behind. The views we had were spectacular! So glad for e-bikes!! This was a very challenging ride with lots of hills. The staff on board were always kind and happy to meet any needs. The boat was large enough for us to all spread out and was not cramped. The rooms had lots of storage and the bed was comfortable.

The boat we where on the Mala Kate was shit, Pay the little bit extra and go on a better boat. This was my first time on a sailing boat Croatia and I expected more. The rooms were dirty, bins never cleaned , alcohol cleaned up yes. The captain took us of cause multiple times, did not stop at certain swim spots and missed actual islands throughout the whole journey. Honestly a partial refund would be expected as the experience on this was not what was promised nor the correct destinations visited. The boat was way out of ratio from male to female also.
- Kris, 12/08/2025 04:33, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Kris, Thank you for taking the time to review your cruise with us this season. It is a shame to read that you felt the option you booked did not meet your expectations. We offer a wide range of different ship types to suit everyones budgets, offering different levels of accommodation and comfort. For example, our Premier ship cabins, offering spacious cabins with ensuite bathrooms and AC. I wanted to provide some more information on the decision to change the itinerary during your cruise. I can see that due to unfavourable weather, it was reported that the Captain did need to make some changes to the itinerary, I'm afraid. Due to the increase in wind and rocky seas, a swim stop was also not possible due to safety reasons. Our Captains are responsible for the safety of both the vessel and all guests onboard, and in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, they may adjust the itinerary if necessary to maintain this. I'm pleased to see that after missing Hvar earlier in the week, the Captain made sure to make this stop later during your cruise so that guests did not miss out on visiting this destination. Although some changes needed to be made due to the weather in Croatia, I can confirm that all other destinations were visited as per your itinerary, and just Mljet was skipped as a result of bad weather. We have a rigorous process in place for handling any issues that may arise whilst you are on the sail, which is included in the Pre-departure information emailed to you before the tour. I can see from our reporting that you did not raise any issues with your Sail Croatia Representative whilst you were on board Mala Kate, which is a shame as our crew could have organised additional cleaning of your cabin and emptying of bins. We have reached out to you directly to discuss your feedback further, Kris. Thank you, Cayley
This was our second Sail Croatia experience, and it was just as fantastic as the first. The crew was exemplary, and special thanks must go to our wonderful Cruise Director, Ana. Her attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm ensured every aspect of our trip was a memorable adventure. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sail Croatia to anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable holiday. The only minor issue we encountered was with the cabin allocation. While this didn't detract significantly from our overall enjoyment, a more thoughtful approach to cabin assignments could have elevated the experience from a four-star cruise to a truly exceptional one.

The beautiful ship. The amazing swim stops. The clean and spacious cabins. The ‘welcome on board’ canapés. The opportunity to experience some beautiful, picturesque islands. The Captains dinner. The itinerary. Mio & the lovely cleaning lady who cleaned our cabins. Only having 14 guests on board. Room for improvement:: The staff could be more friendly (except Mio and the cleaning lady - they couldn’t do enough for you); there should be more fish served as part of our lunches as we are out at sea and in the Adriatic! The lunches were lovely but certainly could be improved; the breakfasts and fresh fruit needed to be replenished as you were scared of having too much and not leaving enough for other passengers. It was not clear that you could have more. The chief female waitress in my opinion didn’t want to be there and that was more than obvious at times. As there was only 14 guests on board, it felt like most of the crew were ‘on a jolly’ and did not make enough effort to satisfy.
- Anonymous, 05/08/2025 08:53, Travelled with Friend/s
We really enjoyed the itinerary and The Esperanza was very well maintained. However some issues need addressing. The staff don’t appear to be very happy in their work place. Deck hands rarely smiled, the waitress in the salon was at times most inappropriate and borderline rude. It’s not every day you hear the F word or gestures using an arms whilst talking to passengers. So totally unprofessional and disrespectful to the Captain.. We appreciate that crew are able to go ashore for free time but please don’t tell the passengers that drinking of alcohol was consumed whilst ashore and then come onto deck to work; Safely for guests and crew surely should be paramount. The salon steward Mio went above and beyond to make every moment a pleasurable experience. The food lacked any wow factor, breakfast tepid, cold ravioli not nice, lettuce leaves as a salad, fruit bowl not replenished until we complained Only 14 guests in total and that shouldn’t mean less effort.. Representive did his job.

The guide and crew were great. Was cool to see so many lovely spots in Croatia. The excursions were fun! Food was great! Icebreakers/group games would have been good to make it less awkward and easier for those that are more introverted. Would have been good to have water available at all times.

Our boat manager from sail Croatia, Toni, was exceptionally helpful. Not only did he provide us with excellent recommendations for the various places we were visiting in Croatia, but when I was sick and needed help, he was happy to assist me, which I am very grateful for.

Nice sail trip but the cleanness was doubtless. We needed more towels and the dexk was always dirty. Also the hostess was not made for this job.

Marin made the week as great as possible. Disappointing about Hvar situation but he improvised well. Super easy going & knowledgeable host makes your time as stress free & enjoyable as possible. Food was slightly disappointing after seeing/hearing about the other boats.

Make travel from boat to club/port/city centre etc included in the overall fair, or inform customer of these costs, pre-departure. Give a selection of restaurants for the customers to vote on to eat together. The restaurants chosen for use were very expensive were there were cheaper options available. Have the BBQ dinner included in the price paid for the week, not as an additional expense.
- Ethan, 23/07/2025 15:25, Travelled with Friend/s
Dear Ethan, Thank you for taking the time to review your cruise with us this summer - we are so pleased to have you on board! Yes, your onboard Representative will certainly make recommendations on where to eat your evening meals. Guests are given the freedom to dine at the suggested locations or choose somewhere else if they prefer. Additional costs are detailed in the Pre-Departure Information sent to guests one week prior to departure. It is important to us that we set the right expectations for travellers, ensuring they can budget appropriately. Please rest assured that guest feedback is very important to us, and the suggestion on the BBQ will be passed on to the relevant teams so that we can make improvements where necessary. Thank you for a fantastic week in Croaita!
Our boat manager Klara was amazing. She was so great made sure everyone had a wonderful time. She answered all of our questions and was so much help. The food on board was amazing. The swim stops were beautiful and it was very relaxing. Everything was taken care of for us.

Had an amazing experience on the Big Blue, Francesca was our host and a fantastic one at that! Had a good mix of solo travelers and some groups of friends but in the end we all became a big family. The staff and crew were outstanding and really made the atmosphere inviting, they knew who we were by first name after day 3. Food was incredible and the boat was kept super clean. Couldnt reccomend it more!

The staff! The staff were lovely and catered to our needs. I went with a couple of friends and we had Lovre and he was great and fully engaged with all of the sail group, couldn’t have asked for better staff. Food was delicious. The showers were less great but overall great trip.

Our time on board the ship and during the cycling cruise was fantastic. The ship's crew was friendly and professional. Our cycling guides, Tonka and Sanja, were excellent, fun, and took us to many wonderful places. They also made numerous recommendations that were very helpful and enjoyable. My only criticism was for communication with the Sail Croatia personnel. It was difficult to find out which boat you were assigned to because that information was buried in a specific email link. I also asked about storage on the bicycles since they had racks and was told there was none. There were panniers provided and I did not need the backpack I had bought based on the misinformation.
- William, 08/07/2025 18:56, Travelled with Friend/s
More outdoor meals would be great. More and better pillows definitely. Some type of equipment for swimming stops, stand up boards maybe? Captains dinner earlier on in trip so everyone mingles more earlier on. Staff were great, boat comfortable and well maintained/clean.

While the crew onboard the Tuna boat were fantastic and did everything they could to make us feel welcome, I was quite disappointed with the overall experience—especially considering the price paid. The boat itself was very underwhelming and didn’t match the standard shown in promotional material or the experiences shared by friends who attended previous years. Their boats were far nicer, with better amenities and meals included. In contrast, we were asked to pay €30 for a BBQ dinner and made to feel bad for opting out. Room arrangements were also poorly communicated. We were told one friend would be in a separate room, which was fine, but only found out the day before that she’d be on a completely different level of the boat—far from us. To make things worse, the route was changed without explanation, and one night we even docked out at sea. This significantly impacted the overall enjoyment of the trip. Given the cost and the inconsistencies, I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend to frie

Thank you for taking the time to review us and for sharing your experience with us! We truly appreciate your feedback. We're so pleased to hear that the crew made you feel welcome and went above and beyond throughout your trip. They work hard to create a positive atmosphere onboard, and your kind words will mean a lot to them. We’re sorry to hear that the overall experience fell short of your expectations. You were accommodated onboard one of our Ensuite ships, which offer comfortable accommodation with private ensuite facilities as advertised. We do offer higher category ships operating on our Navigator cruises such as Premier ships for guests seeking upgraded facilities, however these are accordingly priced at a higher point. On some of the ships the Above Deck cabins are located on 2 levels, i.e. on the main deck and on a top deck. We highlight this information on our website under FAQ's titled ""What is the difference between Above Deck and Lower Deck cabins?. We do understand how disappointing it can be when friends are accommodated on separate levels and we are sad it wasn't possible to accommodate you on the same level in this instance. In terms of any itinerary changes and overnight mooring, our Captains work hard to provide the best possible experience based on weather and port conditions. In light of this, the itinerary and port locations may need to change during the week. We present this information clearly on our website and our Booking Terms so our travellers are well informed prior to travel. We are grateful you travelled with us and have taken the time to share your thoughts. While we are disappointed that you wouldn't recommend us, however we hope you will come visit with us again at another opportunity!
Being able to cycle and see the places we visited with local knowledge guides. E Bikes makes it much easier and open to a wide variety of abilities. Stopping at every port and trying out local restaurants was also nice.

I was on the Afrodita ship with Nora as our guide and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Food was great, good service and was with a good group of people. Only thing was wish we had more time to swim than what we got. The triple room below deck was very small for 3 people so would recommend going top deck or splitting groups.

Hi there, thank you for your review — we’re pleased to hear you enjoyed your week on Afrodita and that your Rep Nora, along with the food and service contirbuted to this. We appreciate your feedback about the triple cabins, and due to the space shared, we do offer a 10% Triple Cabin Discount to help offset this. We hope it helped make things a bit more comfortable. Thanks again for choosing to travel with us, and we’d love to welcome you aboard again in the future!
We loved our experience on Afrodita! Best week, Nora, our guide was great and super helpful with any of our needs or concerns. Only downfall was the triple rooms on the lower deck really dont fit 3 people comfortably!

The tour guides Ivan and Lucija made the trips wonderful and unforgettable. Thank you.. It would have been a 5-stars tour if the breakfast varies daily, the ship is stocked with shampoo and the bed mattress is thicker. The staff on board were wonderful. The tour was well organized and the bikes were fantastic. Beach towels were not provided either.. It would have been very nice if these are provided as well.

Went on the Split-Split cruise to celebrate a friends birthday. I really had no expectations but was totally blown away by how beautiful the Croatian coastline is. The crew on our boat was wonderful & our tour manager was great. The food & drink service was great but it would have been nice to have a larger window for morning coffee.
- Rebecca, 17/06/2025 02:23, Travelled with Friend/s
The staff, crew, tour leaders and guests on this boat were a fantastic bunch. Loved every minute. Had an issue with my room. Not what I was expecting for the price and supplement but that wasn’t going to spoil my trip. Boat was great, bar area very social. George n Danilo were great and George’s food was very good. Danny on the bar was the best barman very efficient and fun. Ivancic and Mario were a superb team, we have cycled with Ivancic before. He will never let you down he’s a very focussed customer driven guide. Very trustworthy. We’d like to return but we have visited most of the islands on your itinerary’s… any chance you could mix it up abit? Thanks again. Great holiday x

This tour is a great blend of cruising and riding. The guides, Miranda and Ana, were attentive to a fault, doing their best to keep everyone happy., as were the ship's crew. Guides and crew themselves seemed delighted to be there! The ship, the Mali Ante, was beautiful, clean, and well-run. The riding was well-planned, taking us along relatively easy routes in the countryside, and giving us a taste of many towns and villages, The meals were sumptuous and lovingly prepared. Someone considering this tour should know: - the rides are short, on average, so if they want more focus on cycling, this may not be the tour for them - the saddles for the e-bikes are hard and flat, so it might be an idea to bring a gel cover for comfort - the crew does smoke, and the smoke seems to come into some of the rooms at times, through the ventilation system. - the meals were very meat-heavy Altogether, with these caveats, this was a beautiful tour, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
- Anne, 11/06/2025 05:59, Travelled with Friend/s
We enjoyed each destination, the swim stops and the variety of experiences. Our chief stew was amazing for coordinating activities, both free and paid, but we didn't do many excursions as they are pricey for the value, We still found plenty of fun things to do in each port! The accomodations and food fell short of our expectations though - there were three people on the boat with dietary restrictions or vegetarian, and we were only given extra services of the veggies/starch with no protein substitute. I often left hungry as we were unable to eat a lot for what was provided. The serving staff were also not accommodating, often dismissive or talking over our attempts to sort out alternatives for food. We also ran out of toilet paper a few times, and the showers didn't drain. Overall the itinerary made the trip worth while, but would hope to see a better effort to accommodate guests who don't eat meat.

Hi there, Thank you for your 4 star review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the itinerary, swim stops, and variety of experiences throughout your trip. It’s also fantastic to know that your representative helped make your time onboard more enjoyable. We’re sorry to hear that the food and onboard accommodations didn’t meet your expectations. We understand how important it is to feel well-catered for and your comments have been passed onto our team. I can see your dietary requirement was noted and passed onto the chef. We also appreciate the feedback about onboard supplies and facilities. We’ll be looking into these matters with the crew to prevent similar issues on future departures. Thank you again for joining Sail Croatia!
Amazing scenery, nice boat and wonderful staff.
- Joanna, 02/06/2025 05:52, Travelled with Friend/s
Sail Croatia was a fantastic way to see the country at an affordable price. Firstly, I got extremely lucky with my guide, Noura. You can tell how well-versed, experienced, and caring she was in every way. I do not think my review would be the same if I had anyone else. The crew on my ship greatly improved the experience as well, the bartender Mateo was extremely fun and flexible, the chef was super talented and accommodating, and the sailor/captain were very friendly and felt like a part of the group. Overall, I’d come again but I would never choose a triplet. Realistically, it is not a triplet room and should not be advertised as such. The downstairs rooms were more spacious as doubles, literally. Claiming the lower bed is viable for two people isn’t ok, and especially frustrating since we had a smaller group and empty beds that could’ve been offered. Also, the party bus should be chartered. Everyone agreed it was a money grab that the company definitely could afford.

Hi there, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Sail Croatia! We’re delighted to hear you had a fantastic time exploring the coastline and that Noura, Mateo and the rest of your crew helped make your trip so memorable. We'll be sure to pass on your kind words to them. We're sorry to hear that the Triple room didn't meet your expectations. To help set expectations clearly, our website advises: “On some ships, we also have triple cabins available for guests that are travelling as a group of three and would like to share a cabin. Triple cabins consist of a double bed and a single bunk, and we provide a 10% discount per person for these cabin types. In some Triple cabins, double beds may be slightly smaller to accommodate the additional single bed, meaning these cabins may not be suitable for travellers that require more space. If you would like to book a triple cabin please let us know and we can check availability when you enquire.” All extra costs are indicated in the itineraries on our website, to help customers have an idea of what to expect for their cruise. We hope to welcome you in the future!
1) Smaller group! With that many riders (32) the faster riders, some of whom would have ridden even faster if allowed, spent way too much time waiting for the slower riders. This was the case on the uphills, the downhills, and the level rides. People ride at different speeds, regardless of terrain or type of bike. 2) Longer, full-day rides. One day was only 10 km, which is ridiculous.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your review and share your feedback following your recent Cycle Cruise with us. We're always grateful to hear from our guests, as it helps us continuously improve the experience we offer. We're sorry to hear that the group size and varying riding speeds impacted your enjoyment. Our Cycle Cruises are designed as guided group experiences, and as such, we aim to accommodate a wide range of cycling abilities. To manage this, each ride is led by two experienced guides—one at the front and one at the back—ensuring no one is left behind and that the group remains safe and supported throughout the journey. We appreciate your comments regarding the distance of some rides. Please note that all daily itineraries, including ride durations and distances, are made available in advance of booking. This allows guests to choose the trip that best matches their expectations and ability. Some days do feature shorter rides for safety, logistical, or scenic reasons, and all routes are carefully risk assessed to suit the group setting. While we understand that some guests may prefer longer or more individually tailored rides, our Cycle Cruises are intentionally designed as shared adventures—focused on group camaraderie, support, and exploration at a pace suitable for a diverse range of participants. That said, we do value your input and will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to refine our itineraries and offerings. We thank you again and we hope to welcome you again in the future on another journey!
The boat was in excellent condition and very well maintained by the crew. The meals were consistently tasty and served promptly. Our cabins were surprisingly larger than we thought and cleaning service was amazing.

The ship was in great shape and the Captain very skilled. the crew worked hard to make our week a fun/safe time and they succeeded. However, meals are a big part of our annual boat and bike trips. Here they failed. The meals were far too heave generally and the BBQ night was substandard with much meat and few veggies...and they were buried under all that meat. The meal was awful. Equally as bad was the captains dinner of steak that was unchewable...oh, the coffee was worse than any I had in the Navy and I didnt thimk that woukd ever be possible...undrinkable sludge..this boat & bike towr tour 7th as a group. It was the also the first to not put out a nice happy hour food spread...only pretzels and biscuits. All in all, I won't recommend this trip .

Thank you for taking the time to review us! We’re delighted to hear that you found our Captain very skilled, our crew hardworking, and the ship in a great condition. It’s always rewarding to know our team contributed to a safe and enjoyable experience. We're truly sorry to learn that the food during the Captain's dinner and BBQ did not meet your expectations. We understand how important meals are in shaping the overall travel experience. Your comments regarding the menu containing too much meat and poor quality of coffee are especially valuable, and we’ll be sharing them with our team as we work to refine and expand our offerings to better cater to a wider range of dietary preferences and expectations. While we regret that your experience didn't leave you feeling confident to recommend us based on the meals provided, we appreciate your honesty. Feedback like yours plays a crucial role in helping us to improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future with enhancements that reflect your input.
Well organised. Great crew and amazing tour leaders ❤️

We enjoyed our Split to Dubrovnik cruise; a great itinerary with lovely ports of call. The crew on board were exceptional - Max and Milan especially were so friendly and attentive - they really made us feel welcome. The cruise director, Dino, worked hard to help us with port stops and excursions. Overall, a great trip but there are definitely a few things that could be done to improve the experience: for instance, tea and coffee should be available throughout the day - we had to pay 3.50 euros for each cup of tea, and the trip excursions were very expensive eg we paid 60 euros each for the Vis tour which had 8 of us crammed into a closed landrover and those in the back unable to see anything out of the window or hear anything the driver said. The food on board ship was very carbohydrate heavy - very few veggies eg menu on day 2 was: starter = pasta, main course = rice and bit of meat, dessert = semolina type pudding. I was craving some fruit and veg! Overall a good experience though.

- Jacob, 19/05/2025 15:48, Travelled with Friend/s
Our guide Tonka was fantastic. The boat was clean and the crew was friendly and extremely competent. The group size was too large for me (30) and we ended up having to stop for long periods while we waited for non-e-bike riders to catch up. I found this frustrating and believe the two bike types need to be separated in mountainous terrain. We had a sun deck on our boat but there were no chairs or any way to sit on it. It only had permanent sunbathing pads fixed to the deck. That was a disappointment as there was not seating anywhere outside for the entire group. The boat maintenance needed a bit of improvement as multiple lights in our cabin did not work and the air conditioner never cooled the room. Croatia was gorgeous and the ride routes were fantastic. Food was good and the bikes were very comfortable and well maintained. I would not use Sail Croatia again unless they separate the bike types and have smaller group offerings or split the group with two lead guides.

Hi Thann, thank you for your 4-star review. We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the stunning Croatian scenery, the quality of the bikes, the meals served and that Tonka and our crew made a positive impression. We value your insights and will be reviewing the points you've raised regarding group sizes, bike type separation, deck seating, and cabin maintenance. Feedback like this is essential in helping us maintain the high standards we strive for. We're continually reviewing our operations to ensure the best possible experience for all guests, and your input helps us refine how we manage mixed-ability groups on tour and improve our overall services. Thank you again for your comments — they help us create a better experience for all our guests.
Beautiful islands, clear water, great crew & comfortable accommodations.

We were a group of friends (8) who joined Sail Croatia for the Dubrovnik to Split 7 day cruise. The cabins were comfortable, the bathroom more spacious than the normal cruise ship. With only 40 people onboard I was concerned that we would be in each others pockets. There is more than enough space onboard to ensure you can read a book quietly if you want. The staff on our cruise (Salve de Mere) were supurb, from the maid throufg to the Captain, we were all in excellent hands. I loved the fact that we docked in small ports each night so we could enjoy local restaurants and bars. Each morning we stopped for a swim...as it was late season a few of us decamped to the jaquizzi where we had pre lunch cocktails...great fun! Each afternoon we were given options of excursions we could take, from walking and exploring, to bike rides and wine tasting. I would probably give the Buggies a miss as you travel in convoy at about 20kms per hour...very boring and a waste of money..

Our guides Miranda and Tonia were the best! They were encouraging and helpful and knowledgeable! The boat was nice however I might mention a few things they could improve. Be more transparent about pricing of drinks. Choices of breakfast food could be better. Like more fruit and better toaster. Squeegee for showers to help with humidity in the rooms. Better WiFi in rooms. The ports were amazing and captain was great at parking the boat! I love Croatia and the people who live there are friendly and kind! We will be back!

- Anonymous, 11/10/2024 08:33, Travelled with Friend/s
The crew was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. We were kept informed on a daily meeting about changes and weather situations concerning our travels. V our guide was great, suggesting restaurants and other things about the Croatia people. I would choose to do this trip again. It was a vacation of a lifetime! Most people were not happy that coffee couldn't be have after 9:00 am.
- Rick, 10/10/2024 17:24, Travelled with Friend/s
The "Tempera" cruise was interesting bc it stopped every day at a different island unlike other large cruise ships. The boat was small which allowed both the crew and the 36 passengers aboard to get to know each other. The food + its preparation were excellent. Above all, our guide, Ioana was so pleasant and knowledgeable, funny and accommodating. She got to know each one of her guests and always made sure we were happy with her options for us at each stop. Her briefings were engaging. Secondly, our meal server - M_____, was extremely kind and hard-working. Constructive criticism: In order to allow more sightseeing time, serve breakfast and DINNER instead of lunch. We felt a bit shortchanged by the current dining schedule. Overall, it was a lovely way to spend a vacation! Thank you to all for making us feel comfortable and safe!!
- Liz, 09/10/2024 21:13, Travelled with Friend/s
Our tour hosts Ivan and Lucija were wonderful hard working guides. Thanks. Lucy and the rest of the kitchen staff were amazing. Thanks. The ship, crew and captain were amazing. Thanks. To be at a beautiful Croatian port, on the Adriatic sea in the morning and not allowed to have any type of coffee on the ship till 7:30 is a sad fact.
- Rob, 09/10/2024 16:36, Travelled with Friend/s
Staff was great. Especially Klara and Pamela. We enjoyed the swim stops and island stops. The meals were so so too much fish for my liking. They’ve in our room didn’t work for 1/2 the week. The tours were great, Capains dinner/dance and wine tours as well I would include gratuity in the price and/or arrange for credit card payments for on board liquor purchases for some people I spoke to were surprised they needed so much euros at the end of the trip which may have an effect on gratuity’s We would highly recommend Sail Croatia to anyone that asks us

Hi Rick, thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the swim stops, island visits, excursions and Captain's Dinner, and we appreciate your compliments about Klara and Pamela. Our chefs always aim to provide a variety of exciting dishes, however we understand that tastes can differ. Your comments will be passed on to our culinary team. Regarding gratuities, we want to clarify that tipping is entirely optional and at our guests' discretion. While we provide guidance for those who inquire, there’s no pressure, and any amount is appreciated by our crew. Thank you for your recommendations, and we hope to welcome you aboard again soon!
The staff were great on this trip, especially Ioana our guide! Food. On the ship was very good and plentiful. The captain adjusted our itinerary for the weather. We had options to join group activities and dinners. Only wish we had more time off the boat. This cruise would be difficult for someone with mobility issues-especially in lower cabins and needing to cross between boats at ports. We had daily swim stops in am.

The other cyclists on board made this holiday so much fun. They were all so friendly and easy going. All with a sense of adventure and fun. Having never visited Croatia before I was blown away by its beauty. A truly amazing holiday. I will definitely be back.

We spent a fantastic week with Sail Croatia exploring nearby islands. Night Sky was very clean and comfortable for our stay. Despite stormy weather, our Sail Croatia skipper ensured that we got the chance to visit as many destinations as possible and always provided information about where we were, as well as sailing advice. Hopefully we will be back!!

I enjoyed the sail/cycle cruise immensely and would do it again in a heartbeat if I had the opportunity. Our tour guides, Lola and Dora, were the very best we could have hoped for. They went above and beyond to make our time enjoyable, especially as we had to change the planned itinerary due to the weather. I can't speak highly enough of them, and the crew on our boat 'Columbia' from 14 to 21 September. Thank you!
- Caroline, 04/10/2024 11:26, Travelled with Friend/s
Lots of great people on this trip including two great guides and the ships crew. The biking was challenging and fun though 32 people are rather a lot to organize. The boat was not as good as we hoped, but probably our fault as we thought we had gone premium plus rather than premium. Cabins were very small and the food was OK but not great.
- Peter, 02/10/2024 23:12, Travelled with Friend/s

Firstly I would like to point out I have absolutely no issues with the staff whatsoever - they each deserve 5 stars as they were all so welcoming and helpful throughout the trip. Special mention for Marin, the best host we could have asked for arranged some great nights and made sure everyone was included. My main issue was that the week was poor value for money, the food was ok but I have to mention the BBQ night, 25 euro for what can only be described as a car crash. When I was offered it I was expecting a real bbq on the port but no - the meats (poor quality I’ll add) were grilled in the usual kitchen not on any sort of bbq - genuinely left me feeling ripped off. Drinks on the boat are extremely expensive for what they are, poor quality sprits other than real JD, and still charging full price. Excursions are overpriced we did the canyoning and it was not worth 75 euros at all. Any transfers to ports clubs or bars are always charged and EVERYTHING is cash only - disappointing.

Klara’s energy and enthusiasm was contagious. Every morning she had a spring in her step which set the tone for the entire cruise. She was very approachable and answered all questions and queries with a happy smile. The boat was clean and in good condition. Would have liked a little more time in port and less ‘swim’ time as the towns had a lot to experience. Would recommend Sail Croatia to my friends.
- Amanda, 30/09/2024 08:37, Travelled with Friend/s
Travelled with a group of 12. Overall a great experience,. Although, we all felt rushed when riding , I can appreciate that when on a boat there are things we don’t know that may cause the riding time to be rushed, like having to deal with weather and docking times. These things should be taken in to consideration when choosing routes and times of riding. More time for sightseeing and swimming would have made my experience a lot better. The crew and guides did an amazing job. Would definitely refer friends to Sail Croatia.
- Debbie, 30/09/2024 07:30, Travelled with Friend/s
We did a Sail Croatia hike trip. Sail Croatia knew ahead of time some of the people were unable to hike but were interested in the islands we were visiting to see the towns and the history. I would have expected that the coordinators would have given suggestions for things to do and historical information. If you weren't hiking you received limited attention.

Had a great trip. Anthony and Matea were wonderful Captain and host.

As the weather was inclement to keep to the original itinerary, the crew and tour guides were awesome in adapting our itinerary and cycle routes. The places they ported were just as amazing and beautiful.

I really enjoyed my week sailing with sail Croatia. I went mid-september so unfortunately we were hit with some rainy weather but we had some sunny days and made the most of it. I got along well with the other travelers and our group leader was nice and answered our questions when we had them. The cabins were small but this was to be expected on a sailing boat, we all got pretty close sharing the same space for a week. The included breakfast was good and the supplies on board were just enough to make basic food. I would recommend this company to friends looking to have a good time, make new friends and go on adventures.
- Gabrielle, 23/09/2024 16:30, Travelled with Friend/s
Best way to see Croatia by Boat and Bike. Biking tge islands on ebikes is the only way to go!!! Fantastic. Staff and Crew were awesome. Food was Great. Chef was awesome and full of exuberance. I only downgraded to 4 stars due to Cabin comfort. Need better air circulation and climate control for sleeping.
- John, 23/09/2024 10:06, Travelled with Friend/s
I was very happy with the tour. The crew was happy going and all operations were smooth, The guides were well qualified, engaged and expressed kindness towards the the guests every day of the tour. Indeed a very good experienced, the second time I go with Sail Croatia in the beautiful area. My suggestions are: 1) Slow down the bike tours, make more brief stops to enjoy the splendor of nature. 2) Make the diet more in accordance with environmental and dietary recommendation (less meat, more vegetables and fruits). Furthermore, take measures to reduce food wast. As a first step, measure the food waste on board and calculate how much it costs. 3) Express your concern for nature in the selections of all materials and operation; including detergents, sorting of waste, motor efficiency; even the use of sails when possible. 4) Improve considerably the quality of the coffee you serve. For many people a good cup of coffee makes even a rainy day bright and sunny.
- Tryggvi Felixson, 23/09/2024 08:47, Travelled with Friend/s
Boat was pretty good, weather was rubbish, staff were very good but organisation needs some work! Lots of defects on the boat. Rain, thunder and lightning almost every day. The check in, shopping and hand over was utterly chaotic. Sail Croatia need to do a deal with the supermarket to take an order and deliver. There were hundreds of people, traffic chaos and no trolleys to be had.
- Nick Wilmshurst, 23/09/2024 06:45, Travelled with Friend/s
Dora was great, however, the recommended dinner - the one not included- was just *fair* and they over charged us and we were left to deal with paying. I feel like payment is something the cruise director should handle. It was chaotic and a bad way to end our evening. Also, I would have done more yoga, but it was usually just a little bit too early- I was on holiday, so I didn’t want to set an alarm. The only other suggestion: have more drinks for non-drinkers. Don’t run out of Coke Zero. I’m sure non-drinkers are not your normal clientele, but it would have been nice to be offered something else to drink when wine tastings were offered. The last dinner (the one that was included did a fantastic job of that. We felt seen, rather than ignored. Thanks so much. Overall I would recommend this yoga cruise.

This is a well organised & experienced company who deliver what they claim. We visited scenic port villages, ate well, did some cycling (not as much as we wanted due to inclement weather) and made new friends from around the world. The crew & guides worked really hard to meet the varied needs of the guests.

We loved the bicycle part of the trip and the beautiful stops at night. Some of our itinerary changed due to bad weather and port issues, but the crew and guides worked to make it a good experience, and it was.. However guests got seasick. My only problem was caused by jumping into the water from the top of the boat, and that was due to my poor judgment. Swimming in the sea was fun!
