We thoroughly enjoyed our Elegance cruise with Sail Croatia. We travelled on the Katerina and the ships comfort and amenities surpassed our expectations The itinerary was a great mix of relaxation, socialising and exploring the wonderful islands of Croatia. What can I say - this trip exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The seamless, friendly, personable, professional staff were charming and couldn't do enough for us. Special shout out to Iona our tour guide who was truly wonderful and extremely funny - we all grew very fond of her. Particularly like that the Yacht is owned by a family and run as a family business which I feel really shines through in the feel and atmosphere of the boat. The boat is beautiful - really classy and luxurious without being pretentious. We met a wonderful group of people and we built friendships and bonds that were very special and really added to our experience. Croatia is stunning and being able to have a snap shot of various different islands was wonderful. The Croatian people are so proud and patriotic it's lovely to see. We didn't want to leave and will defo be back - our favourite holiday so far. Thank you for having us x

From meeting Vedran, our Tour Manager, who looked after us throughout with fantastic knowledge of all locations we visited, to the ships crew and Captain Vlado who kept us safe throughout, we loved our trip starting in Split and sailing down to Dubrovnik, visiting various islands on the way. experiencing swim stops, superb restaurants and wine. Special mention to Martina & Mio who looked after in restaurant/bar and housekeeping were always friendly and efficient throughout. Would definitely recommend this trip and all the staff on Esperanza that looked after us

It was a lovely spacious ship with generous cabins. Days spent after breakfast relax on deck , swim stop which was so good. Three course lunch followed by more relaxing. Then shower and out to explore on shore. Food was generally good and staff were very helpful .

We did the trip with family for our mother's 80th birthday. The vessel was excellently equipped, the food high quality and the service excellent. We had swim stops that were my favourite parts...Towns along the way were busy but retiring to the vessel was like a little oasis. The Queen Jelena parked in the center of all the towns which gave us prime access to the towns and sites to visit. It was like having a hotel in the best location in every town that we went to, with luxury transport included. Staff were professional and friendly and our host Nickos was always available to provide advice or answer questions. For someone who enjoys more solitude and time away from the crowds, this trip represented a 'happy medium' between the busy towns of Europe in summer and the solitude provided by the vessel and sailing. The beautiful ship. The amazing swim stops. The clean and spacious cabins. The ‘welcome on board’ canapés. The opportunity to experience some beautiful, picturesque islands. The Captains dinner. The itinerary. Mio & the lovely cleaning lady who cleaned our cabins. Only having 14 guests on board. Room for improvement:: The staff could be more friendly (except Mio and the cleaning lady - they couldn’t do enough for you); there should be more fish served as part of our lunches as we are out at sea and in the Adriatic! The lunches were lovely but certainly could be improved; the breakfasts and fresh fruit needed to be replenished as you were scared of having too much and not leaving enough for other passengers. It was not clear that you could have more. The chief female waitress in my opinion didn’t want to be there and that was more than obvious at times. As there was only 14 guests on board, it felt like most of the crew were ‘on a jolly’ and did not make enough effort to satisfy.

We really enjoyed the itinerary and The Esperanza was very well maintained. However some issues need addressing. The staff don’t appear to be very happy in their work place. Deck hands rarely smiled, the waitress in the salon was at times most inappropriate and borderline rude. It’s not every day you hear the F word or gestures using an arms whilst talking to passengers. So totally unprofessional and disrespectful to the Captain.. We appreciate that crew are able to go ashore for free time but please don’t tell the passengers that drinking of alcohol was consumed whilst ashore and then come onto deck to work; Safely for guests and crew surely should be paramount. The salon steward Mio went above and beyond to make every moment a pleasurable experience. The food lacked any wow factor, breakfast tepid, cold ravioli not nice, lettuce leaves as a salad, fruit bowl not replenished until we complained Only 14 guests in total and that shouldn’t mean less effort.. Representive did his job.

We did an elegance cruise on the Romantic Star and everything about our cruise was perfect. The captain and crew were amazing, very professional and so hard working to make our cruise so enjoyable. Our tour manager Ioana was fabulous and did an excellent job. We only had a small number on our cruise so the service was extra special and very personal. The daily swim stops were a highlight. I highly recommend Sail Croatia!!

It was the perfect trip! I have seen most of the World, but this made the rest 6 or 7 compared to this trip being a 10!!! The crew was wonderful, especially our tour guide. Extremely informative and full of energy and enthusiasm. The sights of the places visited were will remain with me forever. The other outstanding part of the trip was the meeting of the other travelers on the Romantic Star. Very well traveled from all different countries. We all got along so well together. It was definitely a highlight of my trip. I would recommend this trip highly and already have to my friends. John H..

The Croatian Coast and Islands are stunning and it was very fitting to experience the coastline and surrounding islands in such a beautiful boat, The Romantic Star The Crew and Captain were very professional, polite , helpful and friendly. The boat was kept spotless and the quality of food was to a very high standard. A lot of thought had gone into our experience as it went by as smoothly as the calmness of the Adriatic. Swimming off the back of the boat in crystal waters and stunning backdrops was a daily highlight. The Captain always seemed to find a wonderful secluded spot, there was crew at hand to ensure everyone’s safety. The wine experience meant that we were taken inland to lovely vineyards, providing us to witness landscapes within the islands and to experience local and delicious wines. All our ventures and experiences were brought together by our amazing tour manager Ivana. Ivana was very thoughtful , insightful, enthusiastic and caring and a credit to Sail Croatia.

We arrived at the boat in Dubrovnik and met the very welcoming host Vedran. We were made to feel at home instantly and explored the boat which had all the facilities you would expect and a splendid hot tub on the sun deck. To say we had a blast is probably a bit of an understatement. We all got on very well as a group, and the staff were excellent – including Mio, Martina, Sylvie and the captain Vlado. We were lucky with a very hot & sunny week so the daily swim stops in coves were always welcome. And then there was the wine….. Whilst by no means experts we can now distinguish our Grk from our Vugava and discuss the styles of Posip! And for red, the ubiquitous Plavac Mali (literally ‘little blue’) was made in all sorts of styles. We visited family wineries in various locations including a fun jeep safari on the island of Brac and a local Peka dinner on Hvar. Thanks Vedran for your knowledge, unflappability and company during the week. Keep on singing those songs!!! živjeli!

The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We thought that lunches were of fine dining quality. The balance of on-board versus port side time was wonderful as was the freedom to explore on our own. The whole crew was very friendly, and our fellow travelers were a delight. We just finished an amazing week aboard the Queen Jelena elegance cruise. The boat was beautiful and the crew were very friendly and helpful. Our guide Ivana went above and beyond for the guests and was very knowledgeable about each beautiful island we stopped at. The food was delicious and staff Pamela and Emma were wonderful. Would highly recommend!

We did the wines of Croatia cruise on the Esperanza our guide Vedran was amazing, all the staff where fantastic they made our experience extra special, it was my husbands 50th special birthday while we where on board and all the crew really pulled out all the stops, the places we visited where out of this world so pretty and authentic. The food was excellent, lovely buffet breakfast, three course lunch every day with authentic local cuisine, We had a daily swim stop which was not only refreshing but gave us the chance to experience the coast line from a completely different angle, paddle board made it easy explore a long way along the cost line, We made many new friends, with other guest and crew, had wonderful experiences on Esperanza, it truly was a privilege to be on board big thank you to Vedran our guide and all the Crew on board Esperanza, would highly recommend we loved it 😎

The ship was immaculately fitted out, crew were friendly, helpful and courteous. Food was substantial and generally good standard. But not gourmet as photography on brochures suggested. The islands were interesting and great to explore, however, a couple had very little to keep us occupied and exploring( notably Brac). Sail Croatia events coordinator was always helpful and available to help and plan for each stopover.. We felt that more entertainment in evenings even one more early on in cruise would have brought guests and crew together . The evening dinner on one of the islands was extremely disappointing, both for location and the meal itself.

Everything about our time on the Queen Jelena was perfect from start to finish. Our rooms were cleaned daily. The crew were extremely polite. The captain actually cared about his passengers and making our experience as memorable as possible. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Ivana was our tour guide and she went above and beyond for her customers. No question was too silly to be answered and she was very knowledgeable about everywhere we visited. Ivana even gave us advice about things to to after our elegance tour. I would highly recommend a trip on the Queen Jelena with the fantastic crew including Ivana.

From the minute we boarded our vessel, Esperanza we knew it would be a great holiday. The service from all of the crew was exceptional, with Dino, our tour guide providing us with valuable information and he had very sound knowledge of every destination we visited. I would place Dino as one of the best tour guides I have ever had. Martina, our front of house hostess, did an amazing job of keeping all of the guests happy in every possible way. Nothing was too difficult for her and made everyone feel happy. I would highly recommend this cruise for anyone looking for an educational and fun holiday in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thank you Sail Croatia for the wonderful experience.

From the very beginning it was top notch. The crew, our cruise director and Capain went out of there way to make everything feel like we were special. The food was very good, the swim stops were awesome, and the excursions were well planned out. We met people on day one, by day 7 we were friends. Even planning another experience with them. If you have doubts, just do it! You won't regret it.

We sailed on the Wine Cruise on Romantic Star in July 2025. The ship, the crew and our tour guide, Ivana, were amazing. We loved the destinations and the unique wine tasting experiences. The food on ship was fantastic, and took care of special dietary needs. We were guided by Ivana, our incredible Tour Guide. Our cruise on the Olimp from Dubrovnik to Split was fabulous. Ioana the cruise excursion director was the so organized. Ioana set the Vibe for the whole cruise right from the beginning. Ioana paid attention to details she listened to what people wanted and made sure that she provided clear information and instructions, both verbally and through the what’s app. Captain Jure and crew all were very professional and friendly making sure were safe and truly cared about our enjoyment. The rooms were cleaned beautifully everyday by Nicolina. Sail Croatia was the best choice for us. If you book with Sail Croatia you will not be disappointed.

We had an absolutely fantastic time. Our Cruise Director Ioana was so professional, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her to organise. She was always available and communication was great. The crew were great, efficient always smiling 😃 and friendly. Almira and Ivo were very attentive in the dining and bar areas. Hard working crew all around the sail crew were great in getting the best swim stops every day and Nickoletta was wonderful with housekeeping. The Chef and his sous chef prepared delicious food for us and the variety was excellent and very tasty. Thank you SAIL CROATIA for an amazing trip. We made some special friendships and all the places we stopped along the way were great with many different experiences.

The weather was very good, the boat was very clean, the Captain & crew were hard-working, friendly, helpful and professional. And our fellow passengers were great. The variety of tours on offer was good. We would have liked one night at anchor in a sheltered bay. And we would have preferred longer breakfast time from, say, 8am to 10am. The bed in our cabin wasn’t very comfortable, too hard a mattress for us. However all-in-all we had a great trip and we would recommend it to others.

Trip was made by a great crew. Easy and relaxed. My only comment as most are couples I would have liked to go for a paddle board with my wife. Perhaps another paddle board and other recreational water sports toys. But that me. A active relaxer.

The boat, the crew, the swim stops and overnight stops and excursions made this a trip to remember. The only down side that let the cruise down and the reason we didnt give it 5 stars was the food was not what we had hoped. There were good days like the first day and the Captains Dinner but sadly some of the lunches were not of the standard we would expect from a cruise at this price point. Most days the protein offered was well overcooked and given their were only 14 passengers this was disappointing

We cruised from Split to Dubrovnik on Katarina, a beautiful vessel with a spacious cabin. The crew were amazing, always friendly and accommodating. Our host, Ioana was exceptional and.nothing was too much trouble. The itinerary was perfect and Ioana organised extra events such as group dinners, and reservations at bars in Korcula and Dubrovnik. This was impressive due to the smallness of the bars and how busy the ports were, that she could organise 30 plus people at short notice. The number of passengers on board was also perfect, we met wonderful people and had an incredible week away with unbelievable weather.

Our cruise was made exceptional by the itinerary organised by the tour manager Ivana Mateja, captain and the crew on board Romantic Star. The locations and excursions we visited at each stop on our way from Split to Dubrovnik were well organised and each wine tasting event was amazing! Every member of the crew was friendly and welcoming and made us feel that we were on an exclusive and unique holiday. The food was delicious and high quality, and beautifully presented. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious.

We've just had an amazing week on Esperanza cruising round the Croatian Islands. We did Split to Split South. It was 5 stars all round! The boat was beautiful, the crew where outstanding and couldn't do enough for us, the group of passengers were great and the scenery just superb. The Dalmatian Coast is stunning and very stop was special in it's own way. We will definitely be cruising with Sail Croatia again and can't recommend them enough. I will say, please be aware of the expected tipping!

We loved every minute of our cruise and it felt that we were on a luxury charter cruise, visiting amazing places, architecture. The wine tasting at every destination was brilliant and interesting. The food on board was excellent and top quality. Our tour manager Ivana was excellent and very friendly and informative, and made sure we had the best time. The captain and crew were all very helpful and made sure we were safe and well looked after. The cabin was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I would certainly go on another trip with Sail Croatia again!

Excellent crew and Cruise Director. Our route and itinerary along the Dalmatian Coast, including visits to the islands with their beautiful towns (such as Split, Dubrovnik and Hvar) was well planned and spectacular, Quiet, easily accessible moorings overnight. I also very much enjoyed the swim stops. The yacht, Esperanza, is well maintained and comfortable. Delicious onboard food. Very lucky with our travelling companions.
