My wife and I travelled on the Tempera from Dubrovnik to Split. It was an amazing experience and such a beautiful country. The Sail Croatia staff was attentive, caring and friendly. We would absolutely travel with them again! Thank you for the adventure of a lifetime.

We were made to feel like special guests the entire time. Marin the tour director, Marco and Vlaho who looked after food and bar service were all exceptional and we enjoyed their company and service. The crew members and Captain were all excellent. They looked after all the other details to make sure our time was special.

Returned from an Explorer cruise with Sail Croatia, on the Salve Di Mare which is a stunning, luxurious and incredibly comfortable vessel. The layout is exceptional with spacious cabins, sun decks, and jacuzzi. The ship is kept in immaculate condition from the cabins, swim platforms, dining salons, to the sun decks. The service from all staff is professional, friendly, and world class (special thanks to Marko, Vlaho). The onboard chefs, every meal a daily highlight. Our tour manager Marin, was an incredible host, all week going above and beyond for our group. His local knowledge made every excursion experience wonderful. Huge thank you to the entire crew, for their exceptional hospitality, we will definitely be back!

Everything was so well planned. Our representative Marin was extremely helpful. I loved the way he explained what was to transpire every day and how he repeated the info on WhatsApp. The rest of the staff including Marco & Vlaho were also excellent. I am vegetarian so a big shout out to the kitchen staff who make delicious meals for me. Overall, as 2 women travelling together, I always felt safe & well taken care of. I would highly recommend.

The destinations were beautiful, the swim stops every day were so much fun. All of the islands had something exciting to do on them, and if you didn’t want to go out, the boat had a wide range of cosy spots to read a book and relax. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, and the food on board was delicious, something different every day! Thank you so much to all the people who work to make this trip as magical as it is!

It was a great week! We traveled with two other couples. Boat was clean, our tour manager was amazing and the crew was pleasant and personable. The food was great some days and other just mediocre but you can’t please everyone right? The islands are beautiful and Vicko made sure we all knew what was coming ahead with activities and sites to see. The communication was on point with a group chat. All questions were answered. We would definitely do this again!

Our family had a wonderful time on the cruise getting to explore a beautiful country with wonderful people. The crew was excellent in every way. We travelled from Split to Dubrovnik on their first cruise for the season ( 25 April) — boat was well equiped , cabin was very comfortable — ensuite bathroom great — meals weee ALL excellent and bar was well stocked and run ! Viscko our “ leader” for the week was well organised , very informative and knowledgeable , and was enthusiastic all week !! The crew were a great bunch , always there to help or just talk ! Swims off the back of the boat were BRACING but bloody good fun ! Loved our stops at all the islands — good variety of stops — always docked very close to cafes or the centres at each venue. We would travel with these guys on this boat again in a heartbeat !!

I had an amazing holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dino, our rep, was incredibly welcoming from the start and made everything feel easy and enjoyable. The food on the boat was outstanding throughout the trip, and the bar staff were super friendly and always brought great humour to the atmosphere. On Captain’s Dinner Night, it was especially nice to see the captain making an effort to personally talk to guests—it really added a special touch to the whole experience. Overall, a fantastic holiday that I’d highly recommend.

We had the best time on our Sail Croatia cruise, which exceeded our expectations in every way!! From the time we got onboard, we were completely taken care of by our guide, Dino, our servers/bartenders, Cesar & Meriko, and all the crew. Dino did a fantastic job at making sure we knew what to expect each day & even joining us on some of our excursions. Was also wondeful to get to know all of our fellow passengers. Croatia is a beautiful country with some amazing towns with incredible medieval fortresses and buildings. Cruising among the Dalmatian islands in the Adriatic Sea on Sail Croatia's Almissa ship was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. The crew served delicious breakfasts and lunches. Caesar and Merico kept everyone well served and entertained. Dino, our tour guide, did a fantastic job and had great suggestions for places to go on our own. He was also a great source of information on the history and culture of Croatia. Our fellow travelers were great - a small cruise ship (28 people on our ship) is a great way to explore Croatia and meet so many great folks. Lots of fun!

Friendly, knowledgeable crew and staff Mirko and Cezar looked after us all week and waited on us 24/7 Dino was a brilliant host and gave us valuable local knowledge. Unbelievable food provided and served up by Bogdan and Marko Safely navigated by Captain Josip and Ivan Magical moments including swimming, hiking, Paddle boarding, cycling. Great value for money. We loved our cruise on the Almissa, we sailed from Dubrovnik to Split. We had a wonderful week, the crew the food & locations were amazing. We were so lucky to have Dino as our tour guide, he made our trip the best, he gave as so much information on where to eat, what to see, great swim stops, when the weather wasn’t great he organised alternatives which we much appreciated. We had the time of our lives, we loved Croatia!!

Sailing through Croatia aboard the Salve di Mare was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The vessel itself was spotless and well-maintained, with a crew that took great pride in their work. Every detail—from the gleaming decks to the thoughtfully prepared meals—reflected a high standard of care. The food onboard was a true highlight, each dish freshly prepared and bursting with flavor, perfectly complementing the beautiful views of the Adriatic. The itinerary offered plenty of chances to explore Croatia’s stunning coastline, with stops at charming seaside towns, historic ports, and hidden coves. Swim stops were always a favorite—crystal-clear water, warm sun, and that feeling of pure relaxation only the sea can offer. Our guide, Dino, truly made the trip special. His deep knowledge of Croatia’s history and culture brought each destination to life, and he was always ready with excellent suggestions for local sights, food, and activities. Great trip and would recommend !

Had a great time, low passenger (21) to staff ratio really helped. Couple of things though - Last cruise of the season meant we had to ask for things like spa being heated, etc - there wasn't a lot of initiative from crew in general, Also food and alcohol was running out so they weren't going to replace certain things. While we got a very SLIGHT reduction in price from peak time it did mean that we still felt as though we had to ask for things. Swim stops were awesome, but many people wanted to do more snorkelling options - It would have been easy to pull in a little closer to shore (100 metres) so we could see the bottom rather than swim there (I swam 250m there and back on one just to see the bottom). These are all minor details - the room was great, the tour manager Dino was AMAZING and dealt so well with a lot of different personalities. He responded immediately to all queries and was very patient with some of the more demanding passengers. We met great people.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I absolutely loved this trip! We did the Explorer Split Return on the Almissa. I'm an avid cruiser, but now I'm spoiled and hooked on small ship cruises! It was so nice to have swim stops each day and get to swim right off the bow of the boat in a beautiful cove! Since we overnighted in each port, we were able to enjoy our time there without worrying about getting back to the boat on time! We were docked in the harbor at each port and walking distance to dining, shops, and activities. Food was great and service was excellent. Our cruise director Vin was so friendly and helpful, giving us great tips and advice for each port. My bed was very comfortable and room was clean with good AC! I had an above deck cabin, so I was able to open my window for fresh air, which was very nice since it wasn't very hot during our end of Sept sailing. I would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate to book another cruise with them if I have the opportunity to return to Croatia!

We did the Explorer trip early October '25, so the towns visited were not as busy as peak season, which was great. Interactions with Sail Croatia ahead of the trip were clear, concise and quick (I would recommend sending guests a pdf or e-mail itinerary ahead of departure). The cabins were sufficient for a week's travel, the included lunch and breakfast perfect and crew and tour manager Nikos all very helpful. Additional excursions were suggested and organised where required. The only disappointment was that we couldn't do a swim stop during any of the days due to the windy weather. One could swim at the towns, though. Just to note, Croatia along the coast has become expensive for anyone that might be travelling on a budget, but all in all the trip was well worth it. The towns and natural surrounds exceeded all expectations and experiencing it on a small cruise boat (36 guests) is highly recommended.

Dino, our tour manager was lovely and very responsive to our questions and requests. He often responded within a minute and was already taking action on our request. He was very knowledgeable about each location and gave us a daily briefing. The ship was beautiful and the staff friendly. Due to rough seas the itinerary had to be changed and we did not visit Vis, but instead went to Omiš, which was a lovely town with stunning landscapes and some exciting excursion options! They handled the itinerary changes gracefully and seamlessly. I've deducted one star as there were a few quirks along the way that could have made the stay more pleasant: The ship has AC, but only when the AC is turned on as a whole, so for the first couple nights and the last night our room was a nearly unbearable 77-80°F at night, there were a couple days where housekeeping came into the room, but the room was only partially done, like 1 out of 3 beds done. All in all it was an enjoyable experience though!

Traveling with Sail Croatia was an experience that was more than " just a cruise" where you are one of hundreds or thousands on a massive ship. It wasn't perfect, but I look back on the friendships we made, the cozy feel of the ship and I'm left with special memories of our time on the Adriatic. When we arrived in Split and were faced with two massive cruise ships at port, I was so thankful for the choice we made. Dino, our cruise director, was a very relatable, friendly guy who responded quickly with our questions. The crew were all very nice! I rated it 4/5 mainly because of a few issues such as ventilation in the cabin that made it uncomfortable for a few days. Otherwise, it would be 5/5!

Sail Croatia helped make the travel process seamless from start to finish. The communication before during and after made the decision to book simple, what to do during the cruise easy and decision to rebook in the future a definite. The staff was visible hardworking and always available to assist in any way need from pouring a drink, crossing a gap or information about local culture or traditions. The cruise director Dino was the best. He not only informative and professional but also fun and engaging. He arranged activities,,helped with bookings,, transport and was there for us to resolve an unexpected inconvenience with a flat tire on a bike excursion . Whike the weather was not perfect for our cruise. Dino and the Captain worked together to avoid the difficult uncontrollable weather and locate ports with better weather and new fun activities seamlessly. This was an unforgettable experience for my daughter and I. Thank you Sail Croatia

Overall it was one of the best trips ever.! The boat was not fancy but adequate. I loved getting to know all the other passengers and the crew as well:) The food wasn’t great (a lot of recycled) but the schedule was perfect and we had amazing dinners in town! For the price you can’t beat this trip!!!

Perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, your choice! With breakfast and lunch (3 course) included every day and a swim stop in between (my fave part) the afternoon and evening were yours to explore the next town/island. You could choose one of the organised excursions or do your own thing. Nothing was too much trouble, the crew were the best and our tour manager Klara was the bomb!! Thank you Salve di Mare! After extensive research by both my husband and myself, we joined the Sail Croatia, Salve de Mare cruise this past September. Looking for a smaller cruising footprint with excursions was our goal and Sail Croatia did not disappoint. From the date of our embarking to our final day with our new international friends and a wonderful crew, our adventure was just that... a true adventure! I must start off by giving a big round of applause to our group leader, Vin, who prepped us everyday to let us know what to expect and where to go when we were sure and arrange all the excursions including the free ones. For those who love the water, the swim stops were amazing, the water extremely blue and clear and it was so much fun. We really enjoyed all the ports, and all of the people were so friendly. Our Sail Croatia cruise from Split to Dubrovnik exceeded our expectations. The crew were approachable, friendly, accommodating, happy and kind. Our boat was beautifully appointed and kept so well. Our tour organiser, Anita, was very organised, communicated about our plans for each day so well , and she was fun! Many excursions were available, and the daily swim stops such a highlight. When the weather meant a change in plans, alternatives were organised. We loved meeting others on our boat, and especially loved dancing at the Captain’s dinner. Thank you to the Captain and Crew for creating a memorable holiday.

Anita was our lovely cruise director who was always smiling and checking in on her passengers to see how they were enjoying the cruise. The food was delicious too! Sailed on the beautiful boat Salve di mare. My home for for 7 nights. Above and beyond my expectations. The boat and crew were impeccable and made us feel welcome. The weather wasn't kind to us every day but all efforts were made to keep us happy. Off shore excursions were varied and there was something for everyone. All round a wonderful time and my only suggestion would be to stock up on more breakfast teabags . I hope to travel again with Sail Croatia.

This cruise was better than we even anticipated. The crew was great, very responsive, personable, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious; every meal was expertly prepared and what you’d expect from a 5-Star restaurant. Weather required that we pivot from the original schedule but the captain and the guide made sure we had good alternatives for swimming and exploring. Highly recommend this trip.

Swim stops. Port visits. Particularly Korcula and Omiš. Barman ‘Milan’ was a genuine, nice guy. I still believe our room ‘0’ was bigger than others. I asked and was told the rooms were the same size, however when I peeked into a twin room ours was definitely larger! Not so great - Breakfast was monotonous, same every day. Really need a FOC push button coffee machine for use throughout day. The American drip coffee was rubbish and yes paid for the nespresso style coffee from the bar but e3.50 for something not that good. Our window leading outside next to the door required a curtain as well as the twisted Venetian blind there. I had to put up a makeshift curtain to block out the exterior downlights rays coming in. We spoke to a couple who were on a Sail Croatia boat with the same timings as ours and they raved about the food, as prepared by ‘two mamas’ who obviously cooked from the heart. Unlike our chefs!!
